FRIENDLY REMINDER: LUCIEN PROBABLY GOT PAPA ARCERON’S BLESSING TO BE WITH ELAIN 😭
I know that Elain will have internal battles about her father’s death in her novel. Elain was probably the only sister who loved her father unconditionally. Even Feyre knew that Elain was the special child, the one whom their father adored.
I also think it is so beautiful that Lucien went on an entire adventure with Papa Archeron. I think about the fact that he most likely gave his blessing to Lucien to be with Elain 😭
Out of all the mated males, Lucien was the only one that got close to Papa Archeron. I think his blessing will mean the world to Elain. Even though it is not something necessary ( which the elriels will claim) I know that Elain will hold that to her heart forever.
I am just so ready for them to completely open up after all these years. I know Elain will love the story about Lucien’s adventure with her father. It will be incredible.

Oh my God, look what I just discovered😭😭😭
So in 2021 Sarah did an interview saying that while she was finishing up ACOMAF and writing ACOWAR at the same time, she went out with her editor and she was drunk explaining what Stories she would like to tell. She said she wanted to tell the stories of Nesta, Elain, Mor, Azriel, to her editor.
Then two weeks later, her editor called her and told her “we want to buy the spin-offs”.
so now we know that she signed the spin-offs while she was working on MAF. she signed one of the spin offs as an “Elucien book”
Then later when MAF came out and after the drunk rambling with her editor. She said this:
Tumblr media
Now we know she signed the spin off before MAF release. Then in this comment she confirmed Elucien.
Then in 2021 she said this:
Sarah in 2021 literally confirmed her planning for the next book did not change from the rambling with her editor, the rambling that was before she confirmed Elucien!!😭😭
She’s basically saying that she did not change her mind on Elucien.
Drunk rambling with her editor about the future stories —> signed the spin-offs —> MAF release —> the Facebook comment —> in 2021 saying it didn’t change from her drunk rambling.

Addressing the inconsistencies of the behavior of Azriel's shadows
One of my biggest pet peeves in this fandom is when people take a line from 3-4 books ago and then say it trumps more recent canon.
And e/riels are the biggest culprits of this. They claim that Azriel's shadows disappearing is a good thing, and then reference ACOMAF. Now it's a huge possibility that SJM considered Moriel endgame back then, so once upon a time she probably did intend his shadows disappearing as a positive thing.
But this information is no longer relevant. Truthfully, SJM is not a perfect writer, she's not always consistent, and she has clearly not planned out certain things long-term. Things change and we as readers need to adjust our expectations accordingly.
We are presented new information in ACOSF, specifically in the bonus chapter. Azriel confirms that his shadows are his companions and will always be with him, we then see their interactions with two separate characters. It's a clear juxtaposition. They skitter back and vanish around Elain, they are playful and curious with Gwyn. That's it. That's all we need to see to know where this is going. The connotations alone are extremely obvious.
It's actually such an incredibly simple concept that it blows my mind sometimes that certain people continue to downplay or twist the meaning of this. If one outcome only requires you to read the literal words on the page, and the other outcome requires you to believe a benevolent character is actually evil, which do you think is most likely happening here? Occam's razor is a principle that can be applied to SJM's writing, and almost every single time you're going to be right.
Also, the simple fact that the shadows now disappear around both Mor and Elain is concerning in and of itself, because if e/riel is indeed endgame, then the shadows should not be behaving the same exact way with her as they already do with someone who we know is definitely not going to be Azriel's endgame.
The shadows behave differently around Gwyn in a positive way that they don't with anyone else. That’s it. That's what we are supposed to be paying attention to.

Not me finding a plot hole in an argument about how Azriel's shadows danced with Gwyn's breath because they're reacting to her power...
But the text describes it as "Silent Music" not "Song" since her powers supposedly have to do with her singing.
And what kind of music that can only be sensed or heard by mates? The mating bond. The Music between Souls.

Bloodbane is not Faebane; Neither Stop a Mating Bond
TL/DR: Bloodbane, the poison that got Az in ACOMAF, is a poison to kill a person like regular poison as we know it does, no influence on powers/mating bond. Faebane is a poison to stifle powers, no influence on the mating bond.
ACOMAF: Bloodbane
Bloodbane is a poison that is used to physically damage the persons body and can be wielded by the King of Hybern to kill when they see fit.
Tumblr media
Bloodbane also can be cured using Feyre’s healing bond.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The bond itself also was never gone between Feyre and Rhys; it was still there, Feyre could still walk into it and feel the primal urge to protect Rhys, but Rhys’ presence was diminished on the other side because his power was stifled by the chains the King of Hybern used, not the poison. Rhys clarifies this point himself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ACOWAR: Faebane
Faebane is described to nullify powers as described here, much like the chains the King of Hybern used on Rhys. Also, we see that Feyres blood had no effect on stopping Faebane from stifling her magic.
Tumblr media
However, even on Faebane, Feyre was still able to feel the bond and it was still very much there, but she just couldn’t use her daemanti powers to communicate with Rhys
Tumblr media
So there you have it. The truth behind Faebane and Bloodbane. Please fact check next time, this took me less than 5 minutes to find. Hope this helps✨

Disproving the narrative of 'Azriel won't get his own book' + Who Will His Love Interest Be?
When asked if Azriel would get his own book... this was her answer:
Tumblr media
In another live she mentions she knows who the next book is about but wouldn't mention if it was a male or female main character, but there will be a pegasus in it, and again she said it was pretty obvious!!
Tumblr media
When she was asked a question about Azriel's shadows she had this to say:
Tumblr media
"When it's time for HIS story to be told"
^All that proves Azriel will get his own book, in my opinion and..
As for who his love interest will be?
Well... this is her answer on characteristics that an enticing love interest would have...
Tumblr media
Who is it that has Azriel feels a spark in his chest for in the bonus scene of HIS (which takes place between Ch.58/59 of ACOSF)? Gwyn.
Who is it that Azriel attention is fixed on more and more after feeling that initial spark in the bonus scene throughout the rest of ACOSF? Gwyn.
Who is it that has history with Azriel, as well as her own history left to still be explored? Gwyn. Reminder that Sarah wrote that Azriel was the one who saved her, slaughted the soldiers without hesitation, and even gave her his cloak to cover up with.
Who is it that can challenge Azriel and has bantered with him? Gwyn.
I also found this question in a live and her answer interesting when it comes to the Valkyries bracelets:
Tumblr media
She went with her 'spiritual gut instinct' as to what colors she associates with the characters.
And in the scene with these three making the bracelets in Chapter 59?
Tumblr media
Gwyn's bracelet: Blue, White, and Teal.
What do I think these colors could mean?
Blue for Azriel. Teal for Gwyn's eyes.
White for her powers (to compliment Azriel's darkness) or even when Gwyn does feel worthy of the Invoking Stone (which is also Blue). Gwyn even mentions this about the Invoking Stone in Chapter 15:
“It’s an Invoking Stone.” Gwyn unfurled her fingers, revealing the gem within her hand. “Similar to the Siphons of the Illyrians, except that the power of the Mother flows through it. We cannot use it for harm, only healing and protection. It was shielding us.”
And there is this to when Gwyn was holding the stone: It fluttered with light, like the sun on a shallow sea.
The Invoking Stone is similar to the Siphons of the Illyrians.... Gwyn has a Blue Invoking Stone that matches with Azriel's Siphons and the Invoking Stone is used for healing and protection, which is the perfect counterpart to Azriel killing...
Also, in regards to that earlier picture where she mentions the next book and a pegasus....
Who in ACOSF was most loved by a certain pegasus? Gwyneth Bedara (P.S. this was revealed during the ribbon cutting scene in Chapter 60, which I will post below, and again happens after the bonus scene takes place.)
Tumblr media
"As if it had been following one path and now branched off in another direction" and "Right then and there. That's when it all changed." <--- This to me is Sarah telling us her plans changed and in this scene both the world and Azriel paused/stilled..... and he stilled as if aware that far larger forces peered into the ring as Gwyn moved.....
I think it's clear after reading ACOSF that Azriel will get his own book given how much he was prominent in it, and taking into account the bonus scene, and what happens after..... Sarah has shown us who his love interest will be.
These two will heal and grow, both individually and together, and I can't wait for their story to be told. 🥰❤🥰

Faebane also wasn’t used on Azriel during the cauldron scene, it was bloodbane which is an entirely separate entity so their theory is inherently wrong to start with.
P.S. neither bloodbane nor faebane can stop a mating bond as evidenced by the books ✨
✨✨Friendly Reminder✨✨
Faebane stifles magic, but once it works its way out of the system the same magic that was stifled comes back the exact same way it was before. The magic doesn’t “transfer” to anyone else. Including mating bonds that were pre determined long before curtain sisters were turned fae.
The desperation is showing, again. 🤨😮‍💨😉🫶🏻

The Future Betrayer of ACOTAR
*I already know this is going to definitely make people mad, but be kind y’all, this character isn’t you and has no reflection on who you are as a person*
The Hint of a Future Betrayal:
Tumblr media
In ACOSF, we get this quote from Briallyn (who was working very closely with Koschei) that they are aware that there are members in the night court that can be persuaded to help them with the right motivation.
The Right Incentive and Motive
Like any crime and suspects, we must look at who has motive and who is desperate enough to commit said crime. That being said: who has been hinted since ACOWAR to want something very desperately to the point of delusion? I favor Elain and here is why I think so:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are three separate occasions across two books that we have Elains storyline heavily showing her desires and wishes to be human. To the point where she followed something into enemy camp away from her loved ones because she was that desperate to be human again. That is definitely foreshadowing especially when we see it across two books and with what we learn in ACOSF in regard to Elain.
The Evidence in Elain’s Storyline in ACOSF
The next part of placing a suspect is gathering the evidence to suggest your suspect is guilty and ACOSF has pretty good evidence.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Above is only one instance (had to cut out the others bc tumblr does like more than 10 photos per post), but there are multiple instances showing that Elain and Elains storyline is suspect. Like Elain is noticeably absent from the pages in ACOSF which was shocking in and of itself, but what’s even more shocking is that the scenes we do get show us she is sneaking around/lying/and not acting as she normally does (and p.s. we know Azriel isn’t the one teaching her to be sneaky since from his own thoughts we know he hadn’t been alone with her since ACOFAS). This all is just very suspicious.
So who is she working for/sneaking around to?
Tumblr media
We get this from ACOSF that Koschei is doing anything he can to free himself and even further drives the point that Koschei knows he can manipulate someone in the IC. So it is reasonable to theorize given everything we know from above that Elain may be influenced to help Koschei under the delusion that he can help her be human again.
To Conclude,
Maybe all of this is just a coincidence. Maybe it is nothing at all. Or maybe it’s everything. I’ll leave you with two last photos that further drive the connection between Elain and Koschei with this line in ACOWAR of Elains mind and this picture saved from SJMs deleted pinterest.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Surely looks to me like SJM was trying to paint a picture of who’s entangled with Elains story and specifically her mind and with all we know from ACOSF, it’s not hard to believe that Elain is going to have a part in freeing koschei with the promise of being human again.
I am once again rewriting to implore you to remember that this is just a theory that I believe is very sound based on everything I posted above with textual evidence and SJMs pinterest. It does not mean I think Elain or people who relate to Elain are evil and underserving of good things. If you cannot debate like you are a human capable of empathy, please see yourself away from my page.

Just to clear some things up with the Bryce, Nesta, and Azriel bonus chapter:
HOUSE OF FLAME AND SHADOWS BONUS CHAPTER SPOILER AHEAD
Bryce’s phone died. It’s dead. And Azriel’s shadows were dancing to his singing. It’s literally said like that in the text. HER PHONE IS DEAD. So no. Azriel’s shadows aren’t dancing for spotify. They are dancing for his voice. Kinda how they are sing back to Gwyn at the end of his chapter in Silver Flames.
