I don't play a lot of videogames but when I do I get quite deep into them. This game is on Kickstarter at the moment, I think it ends in a few days actually called Rollin' Rascal - here is a link.

I made an etsy store. :P It's small at the moment, only three, technically four things. xD But yeah it has a bunch of art things I've made that I am particulally proud off with the Omori playing cards being what I think is some of my best work at the moment.

Fanmade Omori Playing Cards

A 54 standard sized playing card deck featuring eighteen unique renditions of the characters from one of my favourite games, Omori.

Each suit is based around the main characters telling a little of their story.

The Spades Suit features Mari, Basil and Sunny, focusing around the incident. Sunny/Omori as the King of Spades, their knives pointed to one another showing the toxic coping mechanism Sunny has developed.

The lack of Mari in the Queen of Spades. A card that I like to imagine during those four years Sunny viewed the piano room, empty, dusty and devoid of life. A sad place now.

Basil as the Jack of Spades, a card which shows the two contrasting versions of Basil, the real one a nervous wreck, the Headspace version happy and child-like.

The Diamonds Suit deck I took elements from Kel’s real world and how they were integrated into Headspace.

Jash Bash Pluto becoming the fast travel planet Pluto.

Hector the Dog and Hector the pet rock.

With real world Kel I wanted to illustrate how much he changed and grew from his younger counterpart so he is more muscular while HS Kel has a thinner, smaller form while flexing to feel his best.

Lastly this being Headspace the idealised dream Mari appears as the Ace of Diamonds.

The Clubs Suit (get the pun? Eh? ^^) focusing on Aubrey and the hooligans who became her new friend group after the incident.

Firstly we have the ace of clubs, I consider this IRL Mari, a normal fifteen year old girl. In my mind Basil taking a photo of her at the swings.

The Jack and Queen featuring Vance and Kim along with the hooligans and background elements and their Headspace variants.

The King of Clubs features Aubrey and what is my favourite background cause I think it says so much. Young Aubrey, Mari’s photo and bunny. Happy carefree, optimistic and has a psudo-sister in Mari. Contrasted by her older self, hardened by her experiences and life, photo of Mari marked out, pinwheel of her colour and what that comes to symbolise in the game.

The Hearts suit I aimed to tell the love triangle dynamic.

We have Spaceboy who yearns for Sweetheart, Sweetheart who cares little for Spaceboy and wants Headspace Hero, or her perfect self in Perfectheart.

Hero wants Mari. The ace of hearts telling the sad truth that Mari is no longer here.

Lastly the Jokers in this deck are Sunny and Basil's Somethings. When making these I wanted to add some distortion to the card elements just like how the game glitches to illustrate headspace breaking. The Jokers (and the Ace of Spades) elements are being slightly corrupted.

The somethings were the first cards I did of this deck as they felt so right for the roll of Joker cards.

Lastly the tuck box, had to be White Space. Also the back of the cards, symbols that connect to the main group. I tried to envision it like, you were opening the pack and going into Headspace.

Please note: How these photos were taken the colours are not accurately depicted. I wanted to show this pack physically and show my work over this past year because I am very proud of what I created here.

I've been drawing for ten years and when I set off on this journey I never expected I'd be making a pack of playing cards. xD If my younger self full of all that doubt and worry of taking this path could see this I think it'd blow his mind.

So yeah, this was my Omori project, I'm likely gonna sell some of these in the future, if anyone is interested, let me know. :)

Happy holidays, Merry Christmas everyone! I'm proud to present what I've been working on for the past few months.

I made a whole deck of playing cards based on Omori. xD Here are a few highlights to celebrate Omori's third birthday.
