No Escape
Thinking back, I can’t recall when this
darkness became my thick prison wall
This dark matter of madness has caused
Deep-rooted uncertainty of life's sadness
Sitting in the cavity of this dangerous mind
locked away, caged, enraged, feeling a bit unkind
I don’t forgive easily, scared to be set loose
Doubtful there will be a truce but rather a noose
They say "don’t dwell” on the past or hold on to anger
but how can I let go when I’m in constant danger
Not only to myself, you, but also to the new
This is why I don’t have friends, not even a few
To seek revenge is all I long to feel
Wanting nothing more to make it real
You’re in front of me as if you’re my last meal
Having you beg and cry as I make you kneel
How can one person go through this much trauma
I didn’t ask for any of this, or did I? Karma?
I’m happily trapped in my mind of sorrow
One day I’ll let it go... hell, maybe even tomorrow

Broken And Bleeding
I'm an empty shell waiting to decompose
Hiding behind walls lurking in the shadows
My primary colors, red, blue, and yellow
Fresh wounds, few days, and old, yet to mellow
Getting overlooked, wishing someone would
open their eyes and help me if only a nook
I’m so tired of doing this day after day
Constant pain every which way I lay
I’m drowning and my body needs air,

Midnight Explosion
Sleep finally takes hold of my restless mind. exploding lights dance behind my tired eyes
I begin counting luminous shooting stars,
wondering if one stardust is tethered to mine,
slipping into the velvet blue midnight waves of wonder;
darkness consumes me, and beauty is found
as time stops, a voice whispers as softly as a first kiss:
