Haven’t been on tumblr forever but I’m gonna say it again:

JIAN YI IS THE BEST FRIEND ANYONE COULD EVER ASK FOR.

F-k you and your opinion saying that he’s dumb to go there alone in the first place. He’s just fifteen or sixteen. The decision he made proves that he would rather put himself in danger than ruining his best friends’ day. He knew how happy the day was for He Tian and Mo. Everything was going so well until Shxt Li happened… and really, nobody ever expected Shxt Li to be that crazy.

I really hate to see people saying Jian Yi was dumb… Please remember he was doing all of that for the sake of his friends’ smile… he would die for them.

That’s how good of a friend Jian Yi truly is.

My favourite line I've written for a short d&d campaign of mine. It features an NPC god the player character followed, and whom it was hinted at they could meet and ask questions in regards to the lore of the world. I wrote some generic and detailed answers, the generic to cover the questions I didn't want to or couldn't answer yet (think 'perhaps if you ask me next time I can answer that one', or 'no, I don't know about that').

My favourite line was one of the generic ones, solely because it so perfectly portrays the kind of person the god (Fideus) is. Now, Fideus is a wise, knowledgeable and kind god. His domains are charity related, his direction towards family and especially found family. He believes in rewarding people fairly, sharing riches, giving aid, and offering a roof to those less fortunate. His churches are more free hostels and food banks than they are actual churches.

Despite that, he's not a man easily fooled (his insight has a +20!). This man is a beast, but he's a kind one. He takes risks for his followers, and sometimes breaks or bends the rules a little. He also has a good sense of humour. So, quite naturally, if one meets a god and assumes they are knowledgeable about everything he'd have said the following with a chuckle and a smile on his face:

"Now, I'm aware some think I know everything, but anyone who claims to be all-knowing would be a bit of a fool."

I may one day be able to put it in writing. I have great plans for Fideus even outside of D&D campaigns, and I'll be happy to finally put them on paper. Further developing the world he lives in is the reason I'm back on Tumblr after all.
