little TFP ramble (tbh can apply for any verse w humans but i have TFP in mind):

i wonder what the bots would think about humans getting stung and bit by shit? i know they have scraplets, so they'd probably assume theres something equivalent to them on Earth (probably mosquitos or something lol) i feel like theyd be surprised of how MANY little creatures can sting or bite humans, and then theres allergic rections and stuff that can seriously injure, and sometimes even cause death too

like maybe mikos allergic to fire ants and gets bit by one on her leg (horrible experience, can confirm) and it swells up and turns red, itches, burns, etc. and the bots are just like "that TINY bug caused that much???"

and then a few weeks later jack gets stung by a yellow jacket on his arm and the bots ask if it was another fire ant, and jack explains that it was something called a yellow jacket this time and theyre like "a WHAT??" and then they learn theres all sorts of bugs and critters that can hurt humans, and humans just... deal with it

consider sanuso bodyswap where Sanji is of course "admiring" Usopp's body and Usopp is trying desperately to keep himself from getting worked up so that he doesn't light himself on fire.

Luffy and Chopper are not helping. They are in fact doing the opposite of helping. They've ramped up their pranks and are doing anything possible to get Usopp angry so that he combusts, freaks out, and then dives into the ocean to put himself out. They think it's hilarious.

Nami and Brook are Also not helping, since they're conspiring with Sanji to put on a fashion show with Usopp's body. Sanji called it "not wasting a precious opportunity to get him in something other than overalls". Usopp called it mutiny and he was gonna- dive into the ocean, holy fuck Sanji why is it so easy to catch fire?!

Best part about this is that Sanji assured him, several times, that his body doesn't get hurt by catching fire. Usopp still jumps into the ocean every time.

Robin pipes up at one point, asking if Sanji was immune to just his own flames or all flames. Sanji just kind of shrugs and said it depends. Franky, having just been leisurely watching all of this gets an idea. Would his Franky Fireball hurt Sanji's body or just give him more fire to work with?

He tries to coax Usopp into agreeing to test it out and, somehow, he manages it. Albeit, Usopp is all knocking knees and chattering teeth, a very odd sight from 'Sanji'. As part of the deal though, he can only shoot a fireball the size of his hand.

Usopp meant his small hand. The one Franky used for tinkering and fine detail work. He did not, however, clarify this.

So, when a fireball the size of Franky's big hand comes out, well. Usopp runs for his goddamn life.

It takes him a few moments- and the voices of his friends sounding distant and below him- to realize he hadn't, in fact, run to the men's quarters, but rather into the fucking sky.

And oooooh, boy he is gonna kill Sanji one of these days. Why was his body's first fucking instinct when running to go up, what the actual HELL-

Usopp lit himself on fire again.

He curses out Sanji as his Sky Walk fails in the same moment and he plummets towards the deck.

my take on the Arise Is Not A Tales situation is that the team initially set out to make like a brand new IP until they begrudgingly resolved to slap the 'Tales of' label on it as it was growing more and more evident that they had inadvertently been making a tales game

high blood pressure? cis men are already at higher risk for this

acne? sweating? sensitivity to heat? i mean, you've seen teenage boys right

hair loss? literally happens to the majority of cis men

difficulty getting pregnant? im pretty sure this is true of every cis man ever

weight gain? there's literally a different standard range of "healthy" weights for cis men and cis women

the fact doctors used all of these things to try to discourage me from starting T when i was younger is bananas. if you were really so concerned about testosterone causing this all of your cis male patients would be on hormone suppressants

#shoutout especially to the doctor who was concerned abt me being 'overweight' after several years of hrt #'it doesn't matter if i compare you to men or women your height and weight should be at similar percentiles' #like. t makes you gain weight (fat and muscle) but it doesn't really make you taller if you've already gone through puberty lmao #makes me slightly concerned that. so many lab test ranges are determined my gender #so idk what 'normal' would be for ppl on hrt. in either direction #im hoping medical professionals know? #but ascribing abnormal lab values to 'eh must be the hrt' when there's something else there #and seeing benign lab results and freaking out bc they don't fit a patient's gender/sex #both seem like things doctors would be inclined to do
