[RP - WELCOME TO GRIMBURY VILLAGE] Noor, "assistant editor" (or ?...)

A new character for a fully original RP made with some friends.

Noor and three other souls got themselves on a strange bus towards an unknown village near the famous Loch Ness Lake : Grimbury.

But, as they arrive town and move to the menacing manor which overlook the lake, the group of strangers understands a cruel truth. They are trapped in Grimbury where mystical and occult forces can not wait to play with them.

Noor is the 'weirdo' of the group. And it is not only her fashion style that disturb most of people. Always with her recorder, she kind of catalog her adventures like she is some paranormal hunter and can not stop herself from speaking her mind, even when it clearly embarrass the person she is speaking to. Add to it her tendencies to switch her attention faster than the speed of light and you clearly understand how her social interactions are... odd.

Peristiwa ini akan mengubah peta rute penerbangan di Jawa Barat. Yakni, penerbangan domestik maupun internasional dari Bandara Husein Sastranegara, Bandung ke Bandara Kertajati. Begitu Bandara Kertajati memulai operasinya penuh pada Minggu, 29 Oktober 2023 mendatang, maka Bandara Husein Sastranegara hanya fokus melayani penerbangan domestik, yaitu pesawat baling-baling rute di Pulau Jawa. Saat ini, hanya ada satu pesawat baling-baling di Bandara Husein Sastranegara yang dioperasikan oleh Wings Air. Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris UHAMKA Lakukan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Pangkalan Jati Baru, Depok.

Menurut Adelia Noor Fauziah selaku ketua kelompok 6, kegiatan ini merupakan rangkaian panjang dari kegiatan yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Adelia dan anggota kelompoknya, telah melakukan observasi terlebih dahulu, untuk memilih keluarga dhuafa yang akan diberdayakan. Setelah itu menentukan cara pengumpulan dana bantuan (fundraising) dan menyebarkan flayer.

“Penggalangan dana yang telah kami lakukan untuk 1 bulan ini Alhamdulillah terkumpul sebesar Rp. 1.50.000,00. Insya Allah dana ini akan kami gunakan untuk membantu bu Yunarni melengkapi warung kecilnya dan kebutuhan lainnya,” Ungkap Adelia.

Kegiatan penyaluran bantuan dilakukan pada tanggal 12 Januari 2023, kelompok 6 menyambangi kediaman bu Yunarni tepatnya di Pangkalan Jati Baru, Cinere-Depok. Pada kesempatan itu kelompok 6 telah menyiapkan semua barang-barang warung dan kebutuhan lainnya untuk bu Yunarni serta siap untuk diberikan kepada keluarganya.

“Semua kebutuhan barang-barang warung untuk bu Yunarni yang diamanahkan kepada kita dari para donator, Alhamdulillah sudah kami berikan dan sampaikan kepada bu Yunarni, kami sangat berterima kasih banyak kepada para donator yang telah berdonasi sehingga kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat untuk keluarga kaum dhuafa ini berjalan dengan lancar. Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris UHAMKA Lakukan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Pangkalan Jati Baru, Depok.

Jumat, 13 Januari 2023 sekelompok mahasiswa dari Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA melakukan kegiatan pemberdayaan keluarga dhuafa. Kegiatan ini merupakan tugas dari mata kuliah Ke-Muhammadiyahan. Melalui kegiatan ini, mahasiswa dilatih untuk melakukan pemberdayaan sosial. Sehingga diharapkan dalam jiwa mereka tumbuh rasa empati dan kepedulian terhadap sesama. Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Universitas Muhammdiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka (UHAMKA) laksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Pangkalan Jati Baru, Depok. Mahasiswa UHAMKA yang melaksanakan kegiatan ini yakni Adelia Noor Fauziah, Cardianti Qatrinada dan Nunung Nurhayati. Who was your first muse?

𝐍. Oh gosh, remember my very first OC ever made would give me a headache, because it was a long time ago and I don’t remember. So, I’ll talk about one that I made back when I used to roleplay on DeviantART well over a decade ago that I still write for to this day, my OC, Noor Shaahar.

Originally she was a student who went to a fictional military academy called Milizia, which was the art RP group I was part of. Not only did I have to create a written application to roleplay this character, but I had to draw a visual reference of my character. I wish I still had it, but I don’t. Then, I played her briefly in an Assassin’s Creed RP group before it died, and now I just write her with friends from DeviantART RP days. One of these days, I should come up with a stand alone story for her. Noor was a student part of the Intelligence division, so her expertise was espionage. She’s come a long, long way from the original idea she used to be and I’ve had so much fun developing her over the years. Now, if you’re wondering about my first muse I’ve ever played on Tumblr; it’s Ryuketsu Chitose. I created her back in 2015. 😅

I’ve always been more interested in creating OCs, but have since decided to branch out to try out canon characters, too. Hopefully I don’t disappoint.

Menteri LHK bersama mahasiswa Unmul penerima penghargaan mahasiswa berprestasi. SAYA suka jengkol tahi lala. Enak banget. Saya sering beli di Samarinda. Bu Eeng, chef yang sering mengirimi saya makanan ternyata juga pencinta jengkol. Dia pernah pesan jengkol kepada saya. Tapi saya hanya suka jengkol tahi lala. Jengkol balado, semur jengkol atau masakan jengkol lainnya saya tidak terlalu suka. Tapi saya kaget Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (LHK) Prof Dr Ir Siti Nurbaya Bakar M.Si ketika menyampaikan orasi ilmiah di acara Dies Natalis ke-60 Universitas Mulawarman (Unmul) Samarinda, Selasa (27/9) kemarin, menyinggung soal jengkol. Istimewanya, dia berencana menanam jengkol di lokasi Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN). Bukan hoaks. Ini berita benar. Menteri bicara jengkol ketika menginformasikan berbagai jenis tanaman pada hamparan wilayah IKN sebagai bentuk menghadirkan kembali hutan alam tropika basah di sana. Orasi ilmiah Prof Siti Nurbaya berjudul “Membangun Hutan Tropika Basah Kalimantan: Modalitas Menuju Indonesia’s FOLU (Forestry and Other Land Use) Net Sink 2030.” Indonesia’s FOLU Net Sink adalah aksi mitigasi dalam menurunkan emisi gas rumah kaca (GRK) dari sektor kehutanan Indonesia, tak hanya skala nasional, namun juga secara global sebagai “legacy” generasi sekarang kepada generasi mendatang. Ada 4 jenis tanaman yang bakal ditanam di IKN, tutur Menteri. Salah satunya jenis tanaman untuk naungan dan sumber pakan satwa. Ini disebut tanaman Multi-Purpose Tree Species (MPTS). Menteri menyebut di antaranya jenis jengkol (Archidendron pauciflorum), rambai (Baccaurea motleyana), mangga (Mangifera indica), dan nyawai (Ficus variegate). Jengkol adalah tumbuhan khas di wilayah Asia Tenggara. Manfaat lain dari jengkol dapat mencegah diabetes dan baik untuk kesehatan jantung. Karena kemampuannya menyerap air tanah yang tinggi, sehingga pohon jengkol juga bermanfaat dalam konservasi air. Selain MPTS, IKN yang menerapkan konsep forest city, juga akan ditanami jenis tanaman endemik Kalimantan seperti belangeran (Shorea balangeran) dan kapur (Dryobalanops sp), tanaman cepat tumbuh (fast growing species) dan jenis tanaman anti-nyamuk untuk mencegah penyakit malaria dan demam berdarah secara alami seperti sereh wangi (Cymbopogon nardus) dan kemangi (Lavandula sp). Sehubungan dengan itu, Kementerian LHK saat ini membangun pusat persemaian Mentawir seluas 120 hektare di lokasi IKN dengan produksi bibit 15 juta batang per tahun. Pada saatnya nanti, juga akan dilanjutkan dengan Pembangunan Pusat Plasma Nutfah Nusantara. Menteri Siti minta Universitas Mulawarman dengan fakultas kehutanannya sebagai penggerak bersama-sama IPB dan UGM dalam pembangunan pusat genetic resources, yang ada di Indonesia sebagai modal dasar pembangunan Indonesia di IKN. Di hadapan Gubernur Isran Noor dan catur sivitas akademika Unmul, Menteri LHK juga memuji Kaltim telah lebih dulu bekerja terkait dengan mitigasi iklim dan urusan karbon melalui kegiatan FCPF (Forest Carbon Partnership Facility) World Bank, yang telah sampai tahap akhir. Bahkan dari hitung-hitungan dia, Kaltim sudah memiliki surplus pengurangan emisi, melampaui 5 juta ton CO2-e, yang dapat dibayarkan. Maka potensi nilai total RBP (Result Based Payment) dari Program FCPF, Kaltim bisa mendapatkan pembayaran sampai 110 juta dolar US. Itu kira-kira setara dengan Rp 1,5 triliun. Bayangkan! “Kaltim dengan modalitas hutan yang luas dan konsep forest city IKN dapat menjadi teladan bagi dunia, bahwa pembangunan ekonomi di Indonesia dapat secara nyata dilakukan dengan tetap memerhatikan aspek ekologi dan sosial budaya masyarakat,” demikian kata Menteri. “AKREDITASI UNGGUL” Saya senang bisa hadir dalam acara dies natalis Unmul ini. Senang bisa hidup beberapa hari di lingkungan kampus Gunung Kelua yang rimbun. Bersama Gubernur Isran Noor, yang juga ketua umum Ikatan Alumni (IKA) Unmul, saya sempat mengikuti acara jalan sehat mengitari kampus mendampingi dekan saya, Prof. Syarifah Hudayah bersama Dr Fitriadi, Fathul Halim, dan Agus Wiwaha. Sebelum acara puncak, Rektor Unmul Prof Dr Masjaya, M.Si sempat mewisuda 1.500 lulusan S1 dan S2 gelombang III. Ini wisuda terakhir yang dihadiri Masjaya karena bulan depan jabatan rektor akan diemban Dr Ir H Abdunnur, MSi. “Mohon doa dan dukungannya, Brother,” kata Abdunnur kepada saya. Masjaya mengaku bangga mendapat kepercayaan memimpin Unmul selama 8 tahun. Apalagi jumlah mahasiswanya terbesar di Kalimantan. Sekitar 30 ribu lebih. Hebatnya, hampir semuanya akreditasi A. Bahkan fakultas kehutanannya, yang menopang pola ilmiah pokok Unmul sebagai pusat penelitian hutan tropika basah meraih predikat “Unggul.” Fakultas Kehutanan (Fahutan) Unmul termasuk fakultas pertama yang didirikan tahun 1962. Kampusnya dulu di Sidomulyo. “Musuh besar” bersaing dengan anak-anak Fakultas Ekonomi di kampus Flores, di mana saya kuliah. Dekannya sekarang Prof Dr Rudianto Amita. Saya pernah bilang Fahutan itu seperti fakultas penebang kayu. Di tahun 1970-an mahasiswanya membeludak. Maklum waktu itu Kaltim lagi boom kayu. Penebangan di mana-mana. Setelah kayu habis, mahasiswanya melorot. Syukurlah sekarang bangkit lagi. Fahutan jadi andalan kita, sebab yang menjaga, merawat dan menanam pohon itu, andalannya para rimbawan Fahutan Untuk mendekati dan memberi kontribusi yang lebih besar bagi IKN, Unmul akan membangun kampus baru di kawasan hutan pendidikan Bukit Soeharto. “Terima kasih kepada Ibu Menteri LHK, yang telah memberikan dukungan terhadap rencana tersebut,” kata Masjaya. Bukit Soeharto ditetapkan Presiden Soeharto sebagai taman hutan raya (Tahura) pada tahun 1982. Nama Soeharto dipakai karena dia pernah singgah di sana. Sekalian untuk memberikan semangat kepada warga untuk menjaganya. Maklum di situ ada ladang lada masyarakat dan bahkan sering dijarah penebang kayu dan penambang batu bara. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Alumna Adira Insurance had reported an overall net profit of Rp 10.368 trillion (US$ 1.5 billion) in 2018, which was 34.5 percent more than PT Bhakti′s net profit of Rp 7.610 trillion. The largest Indonesian insurer is also the only one with a positive net worth, with its assets estimated at Rp 128 trillion as of end-2018. This was 10 percent higher than PT Bhakti′s assets of Rp 115 trillion. "We are very proud that our alumna company has achieved this success and we continue to work hard to create innovative products and services that will benefit our customers," said CEO of Alumna Adira Insurance, Fatin Shamsuddin Mohd Noor in a statement on Monday.

COMPLETE

Noor spins into the Donut shop, bobbing her head and rolling her hips to the fire track blaring through her neon green headphones, leaning close as she steps in line, trying to decide what she wanted to get, her eyes a bit glazed from her hot box, as she lets out a laugh at a weird ass donut, in particular, a strike moving through her as she realizes she's next up, moving to order her shit ton of variety munchies, spinning back out of the line. A hazy strike of recognition, moving through her as she ambles behind a particularly stacked man, covering his eyes, before popping in front of him, shimmying her shoulders, "Surprise!" She exclaims, with a laugh. "You actually came, color me surprised, my guy." She says before she takes the sight of the equally as mesmerizing, if not more so, the woman that stood beside this twitter guy, a dazzling grin moving over her face, revealing her jewels, giving the man a playful slap on to arm, "Way to show initiative, my guy. I...like where your head is at." She nods, giving an appreciative hum, "Noor, by the way. And...who are you?" She asks, focusing her attention on the woman, a bit dreamily, taking in her response before clapping her hands together. "Should we blow this popsicle stand, babies?" She announces, moving to link her arms with both of them, and moving towards the door, onto the next location.

Pat moves into the Donut Pub with Mina, not exactly knowing what to expect, scanning the crows as he narrows his eyes at one particularly suspicious looking middle aged man before he feels his eyesight momentarily go dark, sending a shock through him, until he sees a girl with neon colored hair standing in front of him. "And you actually are a Real Girl," Pat amuses, letting out a laugh at his whole catfish conspiracy. "Pat," he says, giving Mina a look at the odd overly familiar display the woman was putting on, before a donut in particular catches his eye, only for Noor to begin propelling them away from it. "Easy there, pardner," Pat says, stopping the momentum of them moving forward. "You cannot tell me about a donut and beer shop and expect me not to have a donut and a beer and savor the moment," he says, moving to go wait in the line. "But, I guess if you both want to go, you can? But it would be a total blasphemy for me not to sit down and savor this moment," Pat asserts, looking back again at an absolutely perfect looking donut.

Mina tilts her head as she takes in the woman's disposition, a strike of surprise moving over her as she sees a gleam come from a select few of her teeth, never having seen such a thing before, meeting her odd gaze, "My name is Mina." She answers, taking in the strange woman's name, and the odd interaction between Pat and herself, withdrawing her arm from the other woman, as she begins to lead them away. "Do not touch me." She asserts seriously, a shade moving over her deep, brown eyes. "Thank you." She says, before shaking her head, "No. I came here for a reason, it would not make sense to leave now." She answers back, moving to peruse the selection, curiously, "What is your favorite donut, Pat?"

Noor cocks her head, giving a twirl flicking her hand dramatically at Pat's statement about being a Real Girl. "Stay tuned." She winks, before moving to lead the pair to the next fire spot on this adventure, until she takes in Mina's tone, barely noticing the other guy moving away from her, considering her carefully, as she releases her hold on her. "Fur sure, no worries." She offers, holding her hands up, letting out a laugh as she hears the guy's words about savoring the moment, giving a bit of an eye roll to Mina, "Ohhhh, he's One Of Those, huh?" She smirks to the woman, before turning around to face the dude, ordering a beer, "I'll nab us some primo seats then, fireflies." She decides, moving to the best spot in the place, plopping her donut box on the table, retrieving a caramel one, taking a substantial bite of it, kissing her lips at the dude, as he comes back with the beautiful angel, herself, taking hold of her beer. "Sooooo, you guys a couple, or what?" She curiously questions, looking between the pair, her attention being drawn to her buzzing phone.

"So, my specific favorite is from Federal Donuts, but out of the selection here? The Red Velvet is for sure calling my name, but please, if you don't have a favorite, do the donut justice and try them all," Pat asserts, moving to buy two of each so Mina could have a full sampling, before he moves to take a seat with both Mina and Noor, hearing Noor's question, before shaking his head. "Nope, just two people on a donut adventure together," he comments, not finding it to be any of Noor's business about their family connection that they hadn't fully explored yet.

Mina catalogs the information regarding Pat's true favorite, intending to delve further into the place mentioned after this excursion concluded, a soft smile peeking onto her full lips as she hears Pat's declaration, it mirroring her intended own, sitting down with the strange woman, taking a deep drink of her beer, curious if this would be a place Arie would enjoy as well. Listening to the two people converse, a strike moving through her at Noor's question, "A couple of what?" She inquires curiously, taking in Pat's answer, it not being the full truth, wondering why he made such a choice.

"Crazy kids in lust and or love. However that tale goessss." Noor answers back, nabbing a donut from the boy's box, taking an appreciatively greedy bite, as she takes in his words to the contrary, a curiosity swirling within her at his words and the situation at hand, "So why'd you bring-" She starts to question the params of this eventual threesome, before her attention is taken by her alerts once again, one in particular causing an excitement to course through her, as she downs her beer, and finishes off her donut in one go, scooping up her own box. "Welp, it's been real doodles. Seems like you two need to have The Talk, am I right?" She muses, as she spins out of the section and twirling to push the door open with her back, blowing the pair a kiss. "Till next time, stay gorgeous!"

Pat watches the woman, a strike of annoyance moving through him as she takes one of his donuts, about to suggest to Mina that they leave and go somewhere else, this whole thing seeming like a bad idea in retrospect, before Noor conveniently solves the problem, leaving him and Mina alone. "Well then, that was...something," he ventures, looking over at her. "But hey, you still can try all the donuts and pick your fave, right? Let me replace that one she took, don't want to sell you short of the full experience," he says, moving to do just that before returning with it, placing it back in the box to allow Mina to pick out a donut for her first to try.

Mina's face twist in confusion as the woman continues her strange show, is what it appeared to be waiting until Pat came back to speak again. "Why did you not tell her we are related?" She questions, finding that to be the easiest solution to her off and uncomfortable evaluation. "Are you embarrassed of this fact?"

"Because it is none of her business. She's a stranger, and she doesn't need to know our family's details, or anything for that matter, really," Pat says with a shrug.

"You did not answer the second question," Mina observes thoughtfully, tilting her head at the boy, taking in his features carefully. "Tienes sus ojos." She says, continuing to study him, curious if he also saw the world as her father did, with those same eyes, recalling the idea that they were the windows to the soul, finding that an odd belief. "Why did you not bring your father?"

"Embarrassed of us being related?" He recalls, stepping back as he recalls her question. "No, it's just...an odd new thing, I guess? Takes a bit of time to get used to?" He offers, not exactly sure what to say to Mina's comment, before he's caught off guard by her question. "Why would I bring my father?" He asks, stifling a laugh as he imagines Venezio Del Toro at a donut pub with the likes of Noor.

"¿Siempre lo desobedeces entonces?" She counters, his question, taking in his response to her prior question silently, recalling how he had said it was his father's wishes to keep them seperated from one another, the other side of the mirror. ...."¿No tienes miedo de las repercusiones, el castigo?"

A sharp strike cuts through him at Mina's words, causing an unsettled feeling to wash over him, making him no longer feel like eating any more. "I'm kind of tired, so I'm going to head home, okay?" He asks, moving to get up. "Enjoy the donuts, though?" He offers, forcing a smile onto his lips.

A surprise moves through Mina as she takes in his adverse reaction to her line of questioning, mentally cataloging it as a step or perhaps, more steps too far to begin with. "Wait. May we start again?"

Pat lets out a breath, moving to stop himself as he hears Mina's words, before he moves to sit down, picking up a donut. "Well, I mean...can't leave without you picking your favorite flavor, right?" He offers, placing a smile on his face as he tries to give them the opening to do just what she said.

Mina locks her soulfully deep gaze onto her found cousin, as she watches him move to sit back down, giving an affirmative nod. "Right." She agrees, grabbing a brown fried dough ring, taking a bite of it, thoughtfully. "What brings passion into your life? May...I ask this?" She muses, wanting to gauge if this was a topic he would be more comfortable with. "What do you enjoy doing, besides helping others discover their affinity to fried sugar dough?"

Pat’s eyes light up as Mina asks her question. “Have you ever looked into conspiracy theories?” He asks, a twitch of an excited smile moving to his lips. “I just...love thinking about all the wild and impossible things out there to explain our world that maybe aren’t so wild and impossible.”

Mina gives a shake of her head, gathering it was a topic that made the boy excited, having shifted his whole demeanor in the span of seconds, finding that quite curious a thing. "A noble pursuit. Will you introduce me to this?"

"Yeah, do you...want to come over after donuts and go down the Shane conspiracy rabbit hole?" Pat offers, momentarily raising his eyebrow into the same look that the man used in his conspiracy video thumbnails, before settling his expression back into a smile.

Mina takes in Pat's words, having no point of refrence for that of which he was speaking upon, only following the facial cues he was openly expressing, believing it to be an acceptable starting point, something he felt comfortable sharing, as well as excited about, wanting to learn more behind such a phenomenom, moving to rise from her seat, "Yes." She states, before realizing he had not finished his beer, nor had she hers, and his prior statement to the woman that had left them, slowly sliding back into her seat. "After we examine this for validity of taste."

A small smile crosses Pat's face as he hears Mina's words, moving to take a deep drink of his beer. "Exactly right," he offers back, moving to allow her to have first choice of donut, intent on seeing exactly which her favorite was.
