The Talking Dead
When waking hours and even ungodly ones turn to silent huddles with the dead, you can’t help but feel weird and wonderful.  TGIF and a few more weeks before Juno! But, first, let’s zoom in on how the dead end convos with my departed loved ones have been my OD on sanity pills. No alcohol for now because vaping is on its mightiest. Dad has been noticing that I am losing more weight. I always calm him by saying that I fucking need my collarbones back before I hit Siargao. No sugar rush as well except for my go-to Serenitea Taho because we don’t want to spike and spiral. I’ll reserve the mega dose of rum x cola and the works in Siargao, I guess. It can wait.  The Talking Dead are my therapy sessions involving sending DMs to mom, V and C. Somewhere in my dark mind and heart, I want to see SEEN and even a reply is welcome. A few nights ago, I re-read V’s message. I knew years back that he is really in deep shit. He has been RELAK all throughout which means he downplayed his truest feelings. One of the very few DMs I had with C is about how he’d need to stop buying big boy toys like replica robots because he is settling soon. C died before 40. V died before 30. Both these men may seem really chill, but they died young. :( Of course, no SEEN status in any of my DMs. Sigh.  I keep mother dragon’s messenger because I don’t want it to perish or be used to spread fake news and myths. Whenever I have something important or something worthwhile, I send the links, the screenshots and whatnots to her DM.  What’s weird about The Talking Dead episodes is that I find myself revisiting the conversations and connections. More than the memories, I am also allowing the feelings to come through, maiba naman. So far, there’s no major cry fest. Instead, I feel like my cup is half-empty and half-full. It’s like tea time minus the fancy set up where I’d actually let them do the talking while I listen intentionally.  What’s wonderful about The Talking Dead is that I get to take a break from The Dying World of the Living, too. It’s a reminder that death will actually come and I just have to let it happen on its own pace. While in the waiting room, I can choose to curate more and more stories that may be of help to those I come across with. These days, embracing the idea of death is not merely about fantasizing about its arrival which is my departure. These days, embracing death means unearthing life and love lessons of The Talking Dead.  While this is another crazy shit thought fart, the truth is that we are but a bundle of stories. We are but faces that come and go. Given our limited time on this universe, what stories do we want to be? What stories do we want to leave behind so that just in case those who remember us indulges in their own versions of The Talking Dead, they might find these sessions worth living for, right?  PS: Tatay kong pakitong-kitong tuwang-tuwa sa Lazada find niyang ambilis madeliver. The package has two bike shirts. Isang Dahon at isang Brompton. Tapos alam niya nga na inis na inis ako about it, pero ngiting tagumpay siya. He also rode MatchaME more times than me and may gasgas na rin. :D ‘Wag na raw mag-bike skin. Aywawwwwawww. Hahahahahaha.

In 2017, Gianmarco Tamberi was struggling to return to form after injury. It was Mutaz Essa Barshim who helped him realize that he had to compete for himself, not others. Tonight, they are Olympic champions — together.

Because a lot of people really seemed to like that Byleth and Cuphead comparison post from a few days ago (shoutout to @incorrectsmashbrosquotes for adding to the meme), I decided to take this to its natural conclusion and make a character sheet for Cuphead as if he was a Three Houses unit.
This is why you should never leave me unattended while I procrastinate on schoolwork and writing @iron-touch.

The Best Webhosting Services for 2021
Do You Need a Web Host?
If you own a business, web hosting is a necessity; it's no longer an optional luxury. Our always-connected world demands that business have an online page. In fact, even local brick-and-mortar mom-and-pop shops must be discoverable via the web. At the very least, a company needs a page with a location and business hours.
Why? Because word of mouth only gets you so far in the internet era. People discover new businesses—even local business—via Bing, Google, and Yahoo. The days when they'd just look you up in the yellow pages are long gone. If you don't have a sharable website address, your chances of building online word of mouth via social networking plummet, too. In other words, no website, no discoverability, no money. Of course, web hosting isn't just for businesses. You may want to host a personal website or blog, too. Either way, the services here have you covered.
See How We Test Web Hosting Services
The first step in building your online presence is finding a web host, the company that will store your website's files on its servers and deliver them to your readers' and customers' browsers. Bluehost, a PC Mag Business Choice winner, is a reader-recommended option.
Web hosting services offer varying amounts of monthly data transfers, storage, email, and other features. Even how you pay (month-to-month payments vs. annual payments) can be radically different, too, so taking the time to plot exactly what your company needs for online success is essential. Many of these companies also offer reseller hosting services, which let you go into business for yourself, offering hosting to your own customers without requiring you to spin up your own servers.
You should also familiarize yourself with the many web hosting tiers that are available. In your research, you'll find shared, virtual private server (VPS), dedicated hosting, and WordPress hosting plans. Each tier offers different specs and features that you should take the time to analyze. I'll break them down.
What Is Shared Web Hosting?
Shared hosting is web hosting in which the provider houses multiple sites on a single server. For example, Site A shares the same server with Site B, Site C, Site D, and Site E. The upside is that the multiple sites share the server cost, so shared web hosting is generally very inexpensive. In fact, you can find an option for less than $10 per month.
You could think of the sites that share your server as your roommates; there's really not that much separating you from them. Sure, you can close the bedroom door, but they can still cause nightmares for you in the kitchen and the bathroom. In web hosting terms, all the sites share a single server's resources, so huge traffic spike on Site A may impact the neighboring sites' performances. It's even possible that another site could take down the shared server altogether, if it crashed hard enough.
What Is VPS Web Hosting?
VPS hosting is similar to shared hosting in that multiple sites share the same server, but the similarities end there. A dedicated web host houses fewer sites per server than is the case with shared hosting, and each site has its own individual resources.
In housing terms, VPS hosting is like renting your own apartment in a larger building. You're much more isolated than in the roommate situation mentioned above; it's still possible that a neighboring apartment could causes annoyance for you, but far less likely. In web hosting terms, Site A's traffic surge won't have nearly as much impact on Site B or Site C. As you'd expect, VPS hosting costs more than shared hosting. You'll pay roughly $20 to $60 per month.
What Is Dedicated Web Hosting?
Dedicated hosting, on the other hand, is both powerful and pricey. It's reserved for sites that require an incredible amount of server resources.
Unlike shared or VPS hosting, dedicated hosting makes your website the lone tenant on a server. To extend the housing metaphor, having a dedicated server is like owning your own home. The means that your website taps the server's full power, and pays for the privilege. If you're looking for a high-powered site—an online mansion for your business—dedicated hosting is the way to go. That said, many dedicated web hosting services task you with handling backend, technical issues, much as homeowners have manage maintenance that renters generally leave to their landlords.
On the topic of dedicated hosting, many web hosting services also offer managed hosting. This type of hosting sees the web host act as your IT department, handling a server's maintenance and upkeep. This hosting option is something that you'd typically find with dedicated servers, so it's a business-centric addition. Naturally, it adds a few bucks to the hosting cost, but nothing that should break the bank if you have the resources for a dedicated server.
Business Hosting
When it's time to set up shop, look for a web host that offers the aforementioned dedicated servers, as well as advanced cloud server platforms (such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud), custom server builds should you need it, and 24/7 customer support. Depending on your business' focus, you may need a web host that can handle pageviews or visitors that rank in the high thousands or millions. Many busy hosting plans offer an onboarding specialist that can help you get started, too.
If you're planning on selling a product, look for a web host that offers a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate, because it encrypts the data between the customer's browser and web host to safeguard purchasing information. You're probably familiar with SSL; it's the green padlock that appears in your web browser's address bar as you visit an online financial institution or retail outlet. A few companies toss in a SSL certificate free of charge; others may charge you roughly $100 per year for that extra security layer.
What Is WordPress Web Hosting?
WordPress hosting is for people who want to build their sites on the back of the popular WordPress content management system (CMS) from WordPress.org. There are multiple ways to set up shop using this free, open-source blogging and site-building platform.
You gain the most web-building functionality if you create a self-hosted site. This typically involves transfering the free WordPress CMS to server or signing up for a web host's optimized WordPress plan. With an optimized plan, the host automatically handles backend stuff, so you don't have to worry about updating the plug-ins and CMS, and enabling automatic backups. In these instances, the WordPress environment typically comes pre-installed on the server.
You can also host your website on WordPress.com, but that's different from the kind of hosting mentioned above. WordPress.com uses the same code from WordPress.org, but it hides the server code and handles the hosting for you. In that sense, it resembles entries in our online site builder roundup. It's a simpler but less flexible and customizable way to approach WordPress hosting. It's definitely easier, but if you want to tinker and adjust and optimize every aspect of your site, it might not be for you.
Extra Web Hosting Info
If you're not sure of the type of hosting your business needs, you might want to start small, with shared Web hosting. You can always graduate to a more robust, feature-rich package of, say, VPS hosting or even dedicated hosting in the future. Unfortunately, some hosts don't offer all hosting types. Consider how much you expect to grow your website, and how soon, before you commit to anything longer than a one-year plan. It's worth spending the time up front to make sure that the host you select with is able to provide the growth you envision for your site, as switching web hosting providers midstream is not a trivial undertaking.
Once you decide you price range, you need to consider how long you'll need web hosting. If it's a short-term project—say, less than a month or two—you can typically receive a refund should you cancel your hosting within 60 days. Some companies offer 30-day money-back guarantees, others offer 90-day money-back guarantees. Once again, it's beneficial to do your homework.
The Web Hosting Features You Need
Many web hosts offer limited features in their starter packages and then expand the offerings (sometimes tremendously) for higher-tier plans. Read the small print to make sure the plan you are selecting offers what you need. If you need a site builder application to design your website, make sure that the low-cost web host you are picking actually comes with a site builder. Many of them require you to pay for the builder as a separate add-on. Website builders usually don't cost a lot of money, but if you can find a web host that includes one for free, that's money in your pocket. And, if it's integrated with your hosting service, you're more likely to have a smooth, supported experience.
You also want a web host with 24/7 customer support—if not by phone, then at least by chat. Forums, knowledge bases, and help tickets are all well and good, but sometimes you just need to communicate with another human to get things ironed out as quickly as possible. That said, not all 24/7 customer support teams are equal. Companies like GoDaddy and Liquid Web boast incredibly knowledgeable and helpful customer support squads—a fact that we confirmed in our in-depth reviews of those web hosting services.
When it comes to server operating systems, Linux is typically the default option. Still, some services offer a choice of Linux or Windows hosting. If you have specific server-side applications that require Windows, such as SQL Server or a custom application written in .NET, then you need to make sure your web host has Windows hosting. But don't let the idea of a Linux host intimidate you. Nowadays, most web hosts offer a graphical interface or a control panel to simplify server administration and website management. Instead of typing at the command line, you'll click easily identifiable icons.
Windows hosting is often more expensive than Linux hosting, especially in the dedicated server area. That's not always the case, but it's something you should be aware of as you shop around.
See How We Test Web Hosting Services
Email Hosting
If you aim to have a web presence, you've got to have email. It's a convenient way for potential customers and clients to send you a message, Word document, or other files. Thankfully, most web hosts include email in the price of their hosting plans. Some web hosts offer unlimited email account creation (which is great for future growth), while others offer a finite amount. You, naturally, should want unlimited email.
That said, not all web hosts offer email. WP Engine, for example, does not. In such instances, you must email accounts from a company other than your web host. GoDaddy, for instance, sells email packages starting at $3.49 per user, per month. That might sound like a hassle, and just one more thing to keep track of, but there are actually some webmasters who feel that separating your email hosting and web hosting services is smart. That way, one provider going offline won't completely bork your business.
Uptime, Uptime, Uptime!
The aforementioned features are valuable to the web hosting experience, but none matches the importance of site uptime. If your site is down, clients or customers will be unable to find you or access your products or services.
Recently, we've added uptime monitoring to our review process, and the results show that most web hosts do an excellent job of keeping sites up and running. Web hosts with uptime issues are heavily penalized during the review process and are unable to qualify for top ratings.
Ecommerce and Marketing
One thing we learned in reviewing the services listed here (and many more) is that even though the packages are very similar, they are not identical. Some are more security-focused than others, offering anti-spam and anti-malware tools. Others offer a variety of email marketing tools. While most of the hosts we've reviewed have built-in e-commerce, you may want to consider using a more-robust third-party online shopping cart application like Shopify instead.
If you're ready to select a great web hosting service, check out the chart above to see PCMag's top picks in the space. When you're done with that, click the links below to read our in-depth, tested reviews of the biggest and best names in web hosting.
If you're just getting started in the web hosting game, make sure to check out our primer, How to Build a Website, and How to Register a Domain Name for Your Website. The Best Courses for Learning How to Build Websites is an excellent start, too.

VALORANT
HAHAHA. Well may mga nakakalaro rin akong friends sa Valorant and mostly before gabi-gabi talaga. Lately lang ako nag i-skip sa play.
Yung game parang CSGO daw na Overwatch, 5 members for defending and attacking. So yung mechanics is pag defending ka, don’t let the attacking side plant the Spike (bomb) or ubusin nyo sila agad. For the attacking naman dapat makaplant kayo ng Spike maliban kung naubos nyo na agad ang defending before mag end ang time.
May 4 types yung game:
Spike rush- first to get 4 wins after 3 games ata switch na (attacking to defending VV).
Unrated- first to have 13 wins, ito medyo matagal talaga mga 40mins max. after 12 rounds switch ulit.
Competitive- first to have 13 wins pa rin pero dito may rank na.
Custom- dito naman kung marami kayo like 10 or 6 pwedeng kayo kayo magpatayan. Same rules sa unrated.
May 4 maps rin yung game.
1. ASCENT
Tumblr media
2 sites: A and B
2. HAVEN
Tumblr media
3 sites: A, B and C
3. SPLIT
Tumblr media
2 sites: A and B
4. BIND
Tumblr media
2 sites: A and B, for me nahihirapan ako dito eh ang layo ng ikutan and delikado sa portals hahahhaa
May 11 Agents sa Valorant:
Jett
Brimstone
Sova
Sage
Phoenix
Raze
Reyna
VIper
Cypher
Breach
Omen
Each agents may different skills! yung 1-5 unlocked sila pero yung 6-11 need mo ng mission to unlock them all.
Ito yung madalas kong magamit na Agents, Sage and Viper.
Tumblr media
Ayun lang, have a great night everyone!

mags-duranb replied to your post “For the Book Ask Meme: B, C, F and Z”
Rec me some d e a t h books :D I for sure Will read yours. I just go to Starbucks for their pineapple with coconut frappe
Actual Fun Reads:
Smoke Gets In Your Eyes by Caitlin Doughty (of ‘Ask a Mortician’ fame.) This is a super beautiful memoir of working in a crematorium. She also has two more recent publications From Here to Eternity and Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs? but I haven’t gotten around to reading those two yet. (Though my old boss got to meet her at an event for Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs?!)
Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers and Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife by Mary Roach. She is one of my favorite popular science writers, and these two books on both the physical and metaphysical are super fun reads.
Death: A Graveside Companion by Joanna Ebenstein. Pretty book is pretty. <3 Of course I have a massive coffee table book about death. Got it for Christmas last year.
Academic Foundations:
The Hour of Our Death by Phillipe Ariès. This one is 800 pages long, there is a shorter version that’s based on a series of lectures called Western Attitudes Towards Death, if you’d prefer. He can get a little dense, but it’s worth it. V. important.
Death, Grief, and Mourning in Contemporary Britain by Geoffrey Gorer. This is the anthropologists side. (Death Studies covers a huge range of academic fields, but the two main ones I kind of danced between were history and anthropology. If I were to do a PhD it would probably have to be an interdisciplinary one.) Pretty foundational, if you ever hear of people talking about death taboos, they’re largely rooted in Gorer. (Ariès talks about this as well, if you ever hear someone use the phrase ‘death denied’ that’s Ariès.)
The American Way of Death by Jessica Mitford. CLASSIC. Also horrifying. If you live in the United States, this book is insanely important to read. And honestly, not that much has changed. There are more options, but places will still try and trick you into more expensive options under the guise of public health or state law. (another fun fact, I put a paragraph about this in my historiography, this book and it’s 1995 new edition ushered in a way of calling things ‘___ Way of Death’. It’s actually traceable when you sort by year. It’s a huge trend when it’s first published, and then another spike for the reprint.)
This Republic of Suffering: Death and the American Civil War by Drew Gilpin Faust. Anyone working on the 19th century cites this book. It’s become a sort of joke at conferences. Like ‘Gilpin Faust? *fingerguns*’. My old boss still has my copy. I want it back!
Other Noteworthy Works from my motherfucking giant Endnote Library:
The Work of the Dead by Thomas Laqueur. A modern Ariès, huge 1000 year history, focusing on what we do with dead bodies and why it matters. (I disagree with his stance on Gorer and had a super fun #salty footnote about it, but also he won a very prestigious book prize at my university and came to do a lecture and I got to meet him and tell him about my project and that was probably the peak of my academic career, I had so much energy back then...)
The Puritan Way of Death by David E. Stannard (see? see? ‘[blank] way of death’. right?? right?? anyways, I love this book. The chapter on childhood is. omg. Puritans, get it together.)
Purified by Fire: A History of Cremation in America by Stephen Prothero
Death in the New World: Cross-cultural Encounters 1492-1800 by Erik Seeman
There’s another good collection that has some of the foundational theory essays, called Death, Mourning, and Burial: A Cross-Cultural Reader
I linked that one because it’s a solid place to start. I cannot stress enough how short this list is compared to what’s out there. What’s out there is overwhelming. My EndNote library is scary. (And not just because it’s full of ghosts and corpses HA, omg I couldn’t help myself.)
The main Death Studies academic journal is called OMEGA. TalkDeath is also a good website for more fun articles.
I know this response was late, but there was a lot to put together and then I was like ‘why not do it on Halloween?’ So happy Halloween everyone! Read some books about death if you want to!

Complete list of Gore Timestamps for Repo! The Genetic Opera
I made a list of timestamps of everything that could reasonably be categorized as “gore” for one of my friends, through the whole movie, and thought this could conceivably be useful to other people. Scenes are roughly separated by bold headings
I have not attempted to warn for any other content, and have not warned for spoilers. If you notice something missing, feel free to shoot me a message!
This assumes that the first image of the movie itself, after all the company logo animations, with the words “the not-too-distant future” appears at 00:47. If that is not the case, add or subtract seconds accordingly.

Developmental Potential - B
Donker Mag is an humanoid stand, it’s limbs look like birds wings, it feels like a thick cold substance, it makes noises similar to an endermans, it has long and sharp teeth
Abilities
Donker Mag’s real form is not humanoid but a black slime, which is able to hide in small spaces
Shadow Object
By touching some particular object, Donker Mag can devour the object in it thus becoming the same object and suddenly attacking the enemy , usually by making contact with the enemy (ex. by touching the bag Donker absorbs it, becoming the bag - enemy touches the bag - Donker attacks)
Flight
Because of its bird-like form Donker can fly around, carrying its user on its back
Weapon Forming
It can form fangs and teeth and tentacles of various lengths from their body that can potentially hurt the enemy (i imagined that they’ll have sharp knife-like endings), Donker also can shoot shaft spikes from its body
Weaknesses
Usually keeping solid or liquid form, Donker Mag can only keep gaseous form (like a dark smoke) if exposed directly to sun rays, thus being effective only at nighttime, hiding at Valry’s shadow at daytime

Rise to the Sun, and Fall into the Waves: BNHA Arc Thoughts
Hey, so this post is probably going to be even less organized than most of my others; but when I get an idea I have to write it down or else it will explode out of me and dissipate into nothing.
This idea surrounds the present Villain Arc of Boku no Hero Academia, and how my mind can't seem to stop coming to the conclusion that Hawks will finally get accepted into the League by the end of it—even if only tentatively—and that this will inevitably bring Hawks into checkmate. Ending with his loss, and one of Shigaraki's final wins before society starts to crumble.
This thesis has many components that convince me of this, and I'm not quite sure which point to start off with. So, if you're willing to dive into the tangled hellscape of my mind; feel free to read.
1. Parallels...There's always parallels
I am certainly not the first person to point out the parallels rampant in this arc between Deku and Shigaraki; amplifying their roles as foils.
There are too many posts to link, but they point out topics such as:
-Shigaraki's hair growing longer to resemble the younger brother of All for One, and Deku's hairs spikes looking a bit too similar to All for One's for comfort.
-Spinner's narration pointing out that Shigaraki both looks like a child chasing his dreams and is constantly smiling; two distinguishable aspects of Deku's character (also a reference to Nana who seemed to start the whole idea of “a hero must smile).
-Both characters seem to have impossible goals, but the convictions to turn it into reality.
-And even in the previous arc, Bakugo points out the similarities between One for All and All for One.
-Plus, that even ignores the already present parallels of red shoes, successors, a hand reaching out...
However, these parallels are only general and I wondered if there was any specific parallels to any other arcs to predict just what kind of win the League of Villains will get.
Cause we know that the League will come out on top. This is an arc where the central focus is the League, and the overall arc of the story arcs is called “Rise of the Villains Saga”.
There are some notable parallels to the Overhaul arc with Shigaraki's being manipulated relating to Eri's manipulation by Chisaki; the protagonists aiming to rescue a person being tortured by the Villain group, and the last Villain vs Villain exchange was in the Overhaul arc.
However, the situation the League, and thus Shigaraki is in would not line up with Deku's place because the League already had roles in this arc.
So the parallels would likely come from an arc without much Villain interference or none at all.
And would you have it? The most recent arc had no villains in it whatsoever. Also, there was the slightest possible hint that Deku might get a bit more power with a recent development.
That being the promise of SEVEN FREAKING QUIRKS.
With a major jump in potential for Deku, to keep the footing evenly balanced, Shigaraki needs more power he can tap into. Something that is severely lacking at the beginning of the arc with 6 broke twenty-somethings struggling to survive.
Though, power has already been promised to Shigaraki through Gigantomachia and high-end Noumus. As long as he proves his worth, he could end this arc with an overpowered pile of quirks, just like Deku.
And that's not the sole parallel with the Joint Training Arc.
After all, which arc has the protagonist of said arc pulled into conflict through forces beyond their control against an opposing group lead by an eccentric guy desiring to bring down the protagonists in front of watching eyes to prove their own worth and devalue the—admittedly—overrated public perspective of the protagonists?
Is it
a) Class 1-A
b) The League of Villains
c) Both
d) Get to the point already and never use this style in posts ever again.
If you said c), that's right. And if you said d) just comment and this will never rear its head again.
Regardless, the Liberation Army has notable parallels with Class 1-B that form similar circumstances for the protagonists of each arc to overcome. I mean, even the battlefields are both urban or industrial environments—though that may be a stretch.
Yet, that leaves one major element of the Joint Training Arc unrepresented. That being Shinsou. One of Deku's other big wins from this arc besides the promise of more quirk arsenal and physically winning his battle was becoming on better terms with Shinsou and his acceptance into the hero course in the recent future.
So, who would represent Shinsou. Gigantomachia is a character primed to join the League before the end of the arc, and he has been previous introduced in the story before this arc like Shinsou. However, Shinsou actually interacted with Class 1-A before the arc, while the League only met Gigantomachia a few chapters ago. Bringing him over to their side wouldn't hold the same emotional impact as Shinsou.
But, you know who would? Hawks.
Hawks like Shinsou has already been set up in prior arcs to join both the League of Villains and the hero course respectively. They both also held a detached stance to the groups they would join, and they are commonly associated by others with the other side of hero vs villain conflict that they would join.
In simpler words, while Shinsou has been labelled to have a villainous quirk and is joining the hero course; Hawks is well-known as a talented hero—even back in his youth—but needs to join the League.
2. The Story Must Go On
Hawks had been revealed to be trying to join the League over 30 chapters ago with no updates on how well he is infiltrating the League.
With double-agent missions, time is always of the essence; especially considering the high-end Noumus and Gigantomachia that will be given as a power-up after the League's coming victory.
Plus, if any major developments need to happen to the League, now is the time. Since the story is diving so much into the Villains, we probably won't get a good look at their progress until a couple arcs later; which could easily take a half-year or later if no updates are given.
Furthermore, Dabi has finally been reconnected with the League in the latest chapter (ch 224), and considering the recruitment of Hawks was orchestrated solely by him; that is the best channel we have to receive new information on that front.
Essentially it boils down to Chekhov's gun.
The Law of Chekhov's Gun—dramatic principle that states that every element in a story must be necessary, and irrelevant elements should be removed; elements should not appear to make "false promises" by never coming into play (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chekhov's_gun).
If the double-agent plot with Hawks doesn't go anywhere, it would be seen as irrelevant and should have never appeared in the first place.
Additionally, Hawks being brought into the League would be a double-edged sword that both adds to the wins of Shigaraki, while keeping a looming threat of betrayal that the heroes could exploit for an opening.
3. The Puppet Now Pulls the Strings
Shigaraki has proved in his most recent appearances that he knows how to take the motivations and actions of others, and manipulate it to result in him reaping the most rewards.
Before All for One's incarceration (the USJ arc, the Hero Killer arc, and the Bakugo Rescue arc) Shigaraki does not demonstrate this ability to consider anybody else's opinions or desires other than his master's; doing whatever the hell he wants instead because he doesn't need to manipulate situations. All for One already does it to give Shigaraki room to grow.
The USJ arc had Shigaraki releasing the Noumus just to kill All Might for no other apparent reason than: “I want to kill All Might.”
The Hero Killer arc presented a prime opportunity for Shigaraki to manipulate the situation. Releasing the Noumus would end the career of Stain and taking credit for his influence would attract new members in droves. Yet, the minute new recruits walked in the doors praising Stain's ideals, Shigaraki got pissed that Stain was getting all the attention and nearly turned away Toga and Dabi.
Then, the Forest Invasion/Bakugo Rescue arc do not demonstrate any evidence of Shigaraki bending the situation to the highest potential. But, once his master is locked in prison, things change.
The Overhaul arc provides an excellent example of how Shigaraki played everyone so he could gain all the rewards from the match. When the Eight Precepts of Death come up to him, asking to borrow Twice and Toga, he agrees—coaxing both of them into it buy promising revenge for the death of Big Sis Mag. By the end of the arc, Shigaraki is riding high; with his opponents brought down by both the League and heroes—reducing his workload—and sending a message that you don't try to screw over the League, got revenge for the death of a member, gained the power of quirk-erasing bullets, and strengthened the dedication of Toga and Twice since they acted out of their own desires that happened to bring more benefits for Shigaraki.
Now, the current villain arc is shaping up to re-demonstrate this new skill learned for All for One. Shigaraki is taking advantage of the desires of Twice to rescue Giran, and the Liberation Army wanting to destroy the League to cement their own power to defeat his opponents with Gigantomachia, rescue their broker, defeat Gigantomachia to bring him over to the side of the League—dragging the research of the Doctor along, will likely grow the reputation of the League, and reaffirm his skills and conviction to the doubting members. All of this while applying others agendas to fit in his.
Why does this matter?
Well, a lot of this section relies on the theory that Dabi is a Todoroki. But then again, it's basically canon already.
Cause a big question is why did Dabi choose Hawks to recruit to the League? He had many other options he could have picked, and even burned what could have been possible recruits to death without a second thought. So, why take the risk of the No 2. Pro Hero.
Well, when we talk about characters having their own agenda, Dabi is an example that would appear in the dictionary. Countless of times, he exhibited that he doesn't give a sh*t about League activities; disappearing for months at a time and launching the attack on Endeavour without any known authorization from Shigaraki.
Whether or not you consider the Dabi is a Todoroki theory canon or you want to wait for official confirmation, you have to admit that Dabi has a grudge against Endeavour, and what appears to be pro heroes in general. If he really wanted to give a middle finger to Endeavour and hero society as a whole; using the No 2. hero allied with villains to bring down the No 1. hero would cause chaos and hurt the others even more than if he cremated Endeavour himself.
Convincing Hawks to become a villain himself would be the best case scenario for Dabi since it would hit Endeavour the most, corrupting Hawks' public image would still work well to enact his petty vengeance.
And if this were to occur, Shigaraki could capitalize by drawing in Hawks with their similar origins. Both being raised with a goal in mind from a young age, swept up into something they don't even know is right because they don't know anything else; with the League offering freedom from the cage of hero society.
His intuitive nature, strong quirk, and connections to the heroes while it lasts would also be great assets.
But most of all, once Dabi enacts his revenge through Hawks betrayal, Shigaraki can sit back in his lair, remove Father from his face, and give a genuine smile to himself. Because his goals of exposing the fragility of hero society and destroying everything have just had the first domino pushed by someone else; and all he has to do is sit back and watch it burn.
Maybe this make sense, maybe it does not. Will I regret this later? Yes, yes I will.
Yet, I point anyways with the promise of new theories in the upcoming days.

Inktober Day Ten: Up The Wolves
The prompt was a song that gives you hope and one, this song really does give me hope but two, I wanted to do something different from the softer prompts I’d been doing so fair warning there’s a gunfight here.
Here’s 1,438 words
Nick did his best not to freeze as Ella swung closer and closer to the truth with every pass in her rant. Acting casual when his entire insides were turned to ice was a difficult challenge, however, and it was only a matter of time before she realized.
“Like, who the fuck sold us out?” Ella asked, pacing back and forth, her hand wrapped around her wrist and squeezing. Nick knew she’d be holding the pistol on her hip if she didn’t have better trigger discipline. As it was, he was having a difficult time not touching his, though whether he could outdraw her or not was a coinflip. “No one knew about where we were hitting or with how many people, we didn’t tell anyone. I mean, the Goddard Boys didn’t do it; they know they’re the first suspects if they cross us and Julia checked them out. I trust her.”
“Me too.” Nick said, his voice squeaking. He cleared his throat. “Me too.” He said more firmly and Ella shot him a curious look that felt like a dagger.
“And anyway, the people I would put my money on are the Diaz Brothers, but Julia won’t let me question them. She keeps saying things like we’ll deal with it afterwards but look, if you let backstabbers lie they’re going to find another way to stab you.” She shook her head, clenching her fists. “God, I wish I could see the look on Tony Diaz the second I tell him I know it’s him.” She laughed. “Before I put a bullet in his-”
“Ella,” Nick said and he only realized he spoke when she turned her attention to him, annoyed to be pulled out of her rant. Panic spiked and he thought to turn her aside and say nevermind, but that would just get her deeper on the scent. But then he couldn’t find anything else to say and she beat him to it.
“Nick, are you getting soft on me?” She scoffed. “Julia is coming back within the next fifteen minutes and when she gets here, we’re going to make those politicians pay and if you don’t have the stomach for-”
“No, I do. I do.” Nick said, taking a deep breath and exhaling it. “I do, I promise. I just… We don’t even know if it’s Tony.”
“I know it is.” Ella said, gritting her teeth. “I know that bastard would sell us out and never think twice. Well he’s got another thing c-”
“I did it.” Nick said and the silence that followed was deafening. Ella turned to him, her eyes wide. Time flowed slower, as if each second had to fight to drip out. Now she was shocked, but soon she would flash to anger, would she say something? Would she ask for clarification before she drew? He couldn’t take that chance. He would be faster than her only if he relied on her shock, only if he took this chance. He drew, hoping that she would surrender. That was never her way.
She sprang to the side in a roll and Nick squeezed the trigger, a bullet from his revolver splintering wood as it hit the wall behind where Ella had been and he barely had time to register that he had pulled it before Ella was drawing and he hit the deck, upturning the table in front of him and using it as cover but not before she managed to wing him in his arm. Clutching his gun was painful now and lifting his arm was difficult. He swore, switching hands. He would be far less accurate and still he only had five more shots. How many had Ella shot? She had a seventeen bullet mag and she dropped three? Bad odds. She was always a good shot.
“Why did you do it?” She demanded and four heavy impacts hit the table, splintering wood fragments into the air that showered down over him. “You were fucking family, Nick!”
“I didn’t want to die,” Nick said, his left hand trembling. Could he shoot her? He had almost done it already, but that was reflex. Now he was piloting manually and could he do it? “Ella, they had me in a room. They would’ve killed me-”
“And either one of us would’ve made the other choice for you.” Ella spat. Another two bullets, another shower of fragments. To his horror, he saw that the table was starting to crack. Had she been shooting the same spot? When his cover was blown apart he would have to make a decision he didn’t want to make. Eight more shots. “I would have died for you, and Julia would have died for you, you fucking coward.”
“Then why are you mad that I almost let you?” Nick shot back in a strange, nervous energy.
“Excuse me?”
“What’s the difference?” Nick asked. “If you would’ve died for me, then-” Eight bullets hit the table in quick succession and it broke apart into three pieces. He had thought to pick one up like a shield, but instead he rose to his feet when he heard her eject the magazine. No matter how fast she was- She wasn’t reloading. She was aiming at him. He had time to be afraid before a bullet took him in the shoulder, his good shoulder. He rocked back and then lost his balance on the blood he had apparently shed behind his cover, falling hard to the floor. Ella was on him before he thought to reach for his gun. She had shot both of his arms; whether or not he could hold it now was a different question, but she kicked his revolver away, reloading as she stood over him.
“Good reaction. If you didn’t use that stupid revolver you might have gotten me.” She said as she pulled a loose bullet from her pocket, chambering it before she inserted the magazine. “Ella has me load an eighteenth round for moments like these.”
“One in the chamber.” Nick nodded appreciatively as she held her gun over him. “Ella, please don’t.” He said. He couldn’t find it in him to cry no matter how terrified he was, but whether it was shock or terror his whole body was trembling. On second thought, shock was more likely.
“Yeah, see I don’t enjoy this.” Ella said. “You are my brother. Not were, are. I don’t want to do this, but you almost got us killed and I just don’t trust you.”
“Then trust me.” Julia said and Ella whipped her gun around so fast her arm blurred, or maybe it was the blurry vision. Ella caught her hand and twisted, using the other to catch the gun safely.
“He sold us out!” Ella said, massaging her wrist.
“I know.” Julia said. “I always knew.” She was older than them by a decade. She looked down at Nick and he swallowed, trying to process the information. “Let’s bandage him up and get to the part where we shoot people who aren’t us.”
“But…” Ella frowned. “Julia…”
“I never asked either of you to die for me.” Julia said. “I said we might, said it could happen. But I’m not interested in making martyrs of you if I can help it. Now help me do this.” She said as she stooped down to strip Nick’s shirt so she could begin the process of bandaging him.
“How did you know?” Nick asked, groaning as she applied pressure. He had lost a lot of blood, probably too much. He hoped not; he still didn’t want to die.
“You were always a terrible liar.” She said.
“You never asked.”
“And yet you told me with every furtive look and every nervous tick. I never had to ask. Now shut up and conserve your strength. You really should’ve told me sooner.” She said.
“You should’ve told me sooner!” Ella said at last, not being nearly as gentle though not quite cruel either as she wrapped Nick’s shoulder wound before realizing. “Shit this is going to need stitches.”
“Oh fuck me.” Nick hissed. Ella shot him a furious look and he quieted down until the next time they touched him, which was a few seconds later.
“I hoped I could get the guns out of your hands first.” Julia sighed. “That’s on me.” The rest of the night proceeded without gunfire. By the time Nick was taken care of, it was an iffy thing and they lost their chance.
Maybe next time, Julia had said, though there was a look in her eye that said she wasn’t sure if that was true.

If you own a business of any size, web hosting is a necessity; it isn't a luxury. An internet-connected world demands that businesses have websites, even if the pages simply detail locations and hours of operation.
The Best Web Hosting Deals This Week*
HostGator: Up to 66% off Hosting Plans With Unmetered     Bandwidth and Disk Space
Bluehost: Up to 60% off on Web Hosting Plans
Domain.com: Basic Hosting Plan With Scalable Bandwith     Starting at $3.75 Per Month
Godaddy: Up to 50% off Web Hosting for New Users Starting at     $5.99 Per Month
*Deals are selected by our partner, TechBargains

Camote Or Sweet Potato Health Benefits
Tumblr media
Camote or sweet potato is a root crop that is commonly used as a rice substitute in provinces commonly hit by typhoons and where planting rice is not so conducive. It is considered as one of the world’s healthiest food.
A lot of studies have suggested that increasing consumption of plant foods like sweet potatoes decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease and overall mortality while promoting a healthy complexion, increased energy, and overall lower weight.
Here are the health benefits of camote or sweet potatoes:
1. Sweet potatoes contain iron and support a healthy immune system.
Iron plays other important roles in our body, including red and white blood cell production, resistance to stress, proper immune functioning, and the metabolizing of protein, among other things.
2. Sweet potatoes are a good source of magnesium.
Magnesium is necessary for healthy artery, blood, bone, heart, muscle, and nerve function.
3. They are high in vitamin B6.
Vitamin B6 helps reduce the chemical homocysteine in our bodies which  are linked with degenerative diseases, including heart attacks.
4. Good source of Vitamin C
Vitamin C helps accelerate wound healing, produces collagen which helps maintain skin’s youthful  elasticity, and is essential to helping us cope with stress. It even appears to help protect our body against toxins that may be linked to cancer.
5. They are a good source of vitamin D
Vitamin D is critical for immune system and overall health at this time of year.  it plays an important role in our energy levels, moods, and helps to build healthy bones, heart, nerves, skin, and teeth.
6. Source of potassium
Potassium is one of the important electrolytes that help regulate heartbeat and nerve signals. It also protects and controls the activity of the kidneys.
7.  Sweet potatoes do not cause blood sugar spikes.
Sweet potatoes are naturally sweet-tasting but their natural sugars are slowly released into the bloodstream, helping to ensure a balanced and regular source of energy.
8.  Sweet potatoes help ward off cancer
Their rich orange color indicates that they are high in carotenoids which helps strengthen our eyesight and boost our immunity to disease. It’s powerful antioxidants that help ward off cancer.

Auburn must replace some big time production up front
Auburn fielded the best defensive line in college football last season. The leaders of that unit, Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson, combined for 23 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, 5 pass break ups, 3 forced fumbles and 3 fumble recoveries. They were the scariest duo in all of college football.
But now they are gone and Auburn must rebuild its fearsome front once again. 2018 sack leader Nick Coe is gone as well so it’s time for a new name to emerge as Auburn’s top pass rusher up front. Interestingly, two of Auburn’s top leading returners in sacks are linebackers.
Auburn's top 3 returning sack leaders KJ Britt (3.5) Tyrone Truesdell (3) Owen Pappoe (2) Some opportunities to make an impact on the edge this fall for this 2020 class
— AUNerd (@AUSportsNerd) June 19, 2020
There’s a lot of talent up front but not a ton of proven production. The incredibly wise contributors here at College & Mag decided to put their brilliant brains together and predict who emerges as Auburn’s newest top pass rusher.
AUNerd
There are two obvious picks out the gate. Big Kat Bryant and Derick Hall are the likely starters on the edge. However, Hall did not record a single sack last season while Big Kat finished with 1.5. It’s not like either are stone cold locks to lead Auburn in this category this fall.
There are quite a few wildcards to consider. Tyrone Truesdell provided surprising pressure up the middle last fall recording 3 sacks which was 4th best on the team in 2019. Doubling that number could put him in line to be the sack leader in 2020. What about TD Moultry? There have been flashes where it looked like he was emerging as a speed threat off the edge only for him to disappear again. Maybe a new face from that 2019 class like Jaren Handy, Colby Wooden or Caleb Johnson emerges? Dre Butler was ultra productive in JUCO and could be a nightmare rushing from the 3 tech. Ya’ll also know I am a BIG Romello Height fan.
I’ve wrestled with this one for a bit and while I am tempted to go bold with my pick, I decided that with a full offseason of strength training and hopefully a full year as starter, Derick Hall becomes Auburn’s newest edge threat. I would love for this to end up being Big Kat but it’s going to take quite the jump for him to get there so I’ll go with the sophomore.
Verdict: Derick Hall
Will McLaughlin
With Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson off to the NFC South, the Auburn defensive line will most certainly take on a different look next season. While this will probably be the obvious choice, it’s time for the next great Auburn defensive linemen to step up and I think that’s going to be the large feline.

— Auburn Football (@AuburnFootball) March 30, 2020
Verdict: Big Kat Bryant
Jack Condon
After losing the core of one of the best collections of talent in Auburn defensive line history, we now have to find out who’s going to be able to fill the bulk of the production. Is there a guy capable of winning multiple Defensive Lineman of the Week awards? I think so, but we’ll have to wait and see on the production. You would’ve thought that the attention teams paid to Brown and Davidson last year would’ve helped someone else become a huge monster, but that pair shone in spite of the extra blockers.
That said, there’s one guy who’ll get the bulk of the attention this year, and that’s Big Kat Bryant. As Auburn’s most known returning lineman (super cool name helps with that), he’s going to get a ton of attention when offensive coaches look to scheme against the Tiger defense. Therefore, I think he ends up having a quiet season stat-wise, even if his work shows up on film occupying multiple blockers. So, we’re going to see someone have a big 6+ sack year, and I think that guy’s going to be someone with experience and who spent a fair amount of time in the backfield in his opening season.
Verdict: Owen Pappoe
Ryan Sterritt
It goes without saying Auburn is losing a ton of talent off the defensive front this year. With Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson gone, the focus will fall on vets like Big Kat Bryant and Tyrone Truesdell up front. Under Kevin Steele, the pass rush has generally lived or died with the success of the Buck - Carl Lawson and Jeff Holland each had 9.5 sacks from Buck in 2016 and 2017 respectively, but the pass rush fell off slightly in 2018 (Nick Coe, 7 sacks) and more noticeably in 2019 (Big Kat Bryant, 1.5 sacks). It’s unfortunate, because the Auburn defense last season did pretty much everything well except rush the passer.
The expectation is that Bryant will slide over to a more natural fit at end, replacing Marlon Davidson. Who’s going to take over at Buck? Will Moultry get it together? Will Hall break out in a big way? What about one of the newcomers?
Ultimately, I’m not sure anyone distinguishes themselves to lead the team in sacks from the Buck this year. Instead, I’m going to lean on Auburn’s returning sack leader to have an even bigger year and put himself in position to be Auburn’s first 1st round draft pick at linebacker since Takeo Spikes.
Verdict: KJ Britt.
Joshdub
“Big Shoes to Fill” is a theme here - you can’t actually replace the talent lost to the NFL. Derrick Brown was THE man - and the talent around him just made him better. Auburn’s defense won’t have that kind of talent in 2020; it will have to rely on the remaining veterans.
Nobody covered more ground than the true freshman linebacker Owen Pappoe last year. It feels odd to call a true sophomore a veteran, but he’s got the physical skills and leadership capability to step into the role.
Verdict: Owen Pappoe
You’ve read our takes now it’s your turn. Who will lead Auburn in sacks this season?

Buffy the Vampire slayer Ep 6
Ep 6
Buffy beats up a guy in a pumpkin patch. Vampire’s crappy 90s camcorder runs out of batteries.
Tumblr media
Why is Angel hanging out with Cordelia? Like... he’s still too old for everyone. Okay, at least Buffy is here for their date. Buffy’s being angsty. “I think of ambush tactics, beheading.” Angel should have been like “Wha? Me too! I think of drinking blood as well, do you think of that?”
Cordelia brings out a giant cappuccino I want one.
Principle Quark shows up and is like “You are a juvenile delinquent so you have to look after impressionable young children even though you haven’t done anything wrong.” Then he makes the other kids sign up too. He’s Principle Bully. (let’s be real, he’s principle plot enabler)
“Boys are so fragile” Willow
Buffy don’t try to pretend that Angel can ever be interested in Cordelia. He’s been making sad puppy eyes at you since ep 1.
Tumblr media
Buffy manipulates Giles by playing with his crush on Ms Calendar. You are a babe, Giles. OH HES SO CUTE
Buffy: Angel’s a Vampire. I thought you knew.
Cordelia: Oh he’s a vampire. Like the cuddly kind.
Me: Yeah, the Cullen kind.
Tumblr media
Cordelia: When it comes to dating, I’m the slayer.
Like all the times she had to save your ass from getting killed.
According to Buffy Halloween is the night for girls to get sexy and wild. I’m glad she’s channeling the culture at large -_-   Buffy, I thought better of you. It’s like you were written by Joss Whedon or something.
Tumblr media
And then Buffy picks a cursed gown that covers her from collarbones down. I guess it really is “come as you aren’t”
“Do you love my insides? The parts you can’t see?”
“Eyeballs to Entrails, my sweet.”
I love it. I love Spike and his girlfriend.
Is willow about to have a “gorgeous woman” moment? Buffy keeps pressuring Willow into dressing in ways she’s uncomfortable. She’s being a really bad friend right now.
Tumblr media
“Here’s your group, summers. The last thing they need is your influence” THEN WHY DID YOU PRESSURE HER INTO VOLUNTEERING FOR THIS PRINCIPLE MAKES-NO-SENSE. Where are these kids parents?
Buffy’s so good with all the kids :)
I just heard the Kerlan naskar.
I don’t think I understand what the Janus guy is trying to doooo OOOH THEY ARE BECOMING THEIR COSTUMES. That’s SUCH A GOOD IDEA! Don’t know why it’s happening but... the kerlan naskar again?
Willow’s lucky she got to keep her mind as a ghost. Also lucky she didn’t turn into a clubbing ghost, b/c she’s dressed like she’s going clubbing. If she’d gone as the clubbing girl to start with she’d just be dancing and we’d all be dead.
Did Cordelia get her mind back b/c she got her costume ripped? Better question, is Willow’s body decomposing?
Tumblr media
LOL Giles freaking out about Willow walking through the wall was great.
“I don’t want to go with you! I want to go with the man with the musket! Do you have a musket?” I think SMG is having a good time in this episode.
i’m glad they addressed Cordelia not chagning and made it part of the plot. Also party town would never take a costume back, that was a 40 dollar one-night investment.
Giles “Hello Ethan.”
Blind Mag: “How are you, Nathan?”
Tumblr media
Is it sad that I like soldier Xander better than normal Xander?
Cordelia is brokering peace between Buffy and Angel and it’s actually good.
Ruh Roh, Gile’s dark past is coming to light! “I know what you are, Rupert, and I know what you’re capable of.” //”You faint at the drop of a hat and get kidnapped once a week. They have no idea.”
YES! THROW A PUNCH GILES! KICK HIS ASS!
Tumblr media
Giles cleaning his hands while punching an asshole into submission is kinda hot. Ms Calendar would be so impressed.
Cute moment with Buffy and Angel. Maybe they’re winning me over after all.
“Why did you think I’d like you better dressed that way?”
“Because you’re freakin’ old.”
I guess Ethan will return to be beaten easily into submission by Giles at a later date.
