It had indeed came lose. Presumably by his hand, given the hair tie was around his fingers, but nonetheless, the red tail of hair fell across his back looser than ever.

If there was a sure fire way to get Cloud to do anything - other than offering a substantial amount of gil - then creating a chasm of blind panic was usually a pretty good start.

And this situation certainly fell into the latter, and after blinking stupidly for a moment at the back of the man who was just using Cloud very casually as a seat, impulse overrode any true rational thinking.

He goes to work, tugging those red locks this way and that, the panic building as he goes, beginning to heat up behind each eye as the tangle got worse... and worse... and worse.

Cloud was not a hairdresser... he didn't even have that much hair himself! He just wakes up in the morning, runs his hand through it and he's done. How was he supposed to know what the hell he was even doing here?

"Uh... I think you need a comb... or some sheers... I dunno. I made a mess..." Was the soft, apologetic grumble which came from behind the redhead.

i was making myself sad by watching a clip of peter parker dying when the implications of insomniac peter parker being in atsv hit me. insomniac's Spiderman is one of the few times Peter actually lives to see Miles becomes Spiderman, so you can imagine how seeing a version of himself actually get a chance to know the peter parker of his world might shake up some Feelings™ (read: guilt, jealousy, awe)

don't get me wrong, Miles has clearly stepped into his role as Spiderman fantastically and loves having Peter B Parker as a mentor, but i wouldn't be surprised if he was a little jealous of insomniac miles getting peter's constant presence and support instead of just a week's worth

I see a lot of people like saying Miguel is a fake spiderman or an evil version due to how he acts and how his spider powers are but there’s things you need to remind about him and his comic:

He got his powers from an attempt on his life that went wrong (literally was drugged). Not any attempt to make himself Spiderman

He was intentionally designed to zag where Peter zigged. Like where normal Spiders are jokey and overt he’s snarky and cynical.

Miguel was a socialite and popular while Peter was a barely getting by loser kid. In a way like Miles, he was meant to subvert Spiderman tropes

The guy had a horrible fucking life and it gave him a pretty bad temper but he still ultimately means well.

This was spurred cause I see people theorizing Miguel is actually some fake Spider person, out to destroy Spidermen be can’t control. Like of all the characters he probably has no ulterior motives more so projection and an overdue therapy appointment.
