“He replied, “Because your faith is much too small. What I’m about to tell you is true. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, it is enough. You can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there.’ And it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” —Matthew 17:20-21 (NIRV)
“For we live by faith, not by sight.” —2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)
“Crazy Faith” Devotional by Michael Todd - Day 4: “Imagine That”:
“If you can’t figure out what your first step of faith should be, use the amazing tool God has given you to walk in baby faith. It’s called your imagination.
Imagination is not mere child’s play; it is a powerful force given to us by our Creator. Its root word is image, and we are created in the image of God with the power to imagine what is not yet tangible but can be realized. That’s crazy! You may have stopped using your imagination because somebody said you need to grow up and start adulting, but I’m telling you, it’s time to revive it again. Imagination is way too powerful to be left sitting in the toy box.
You can be in a place that is the exact opposite of what you desire, then close your eyes and see yourself exactly where you want to be. (Go ahead—try it!)
You could be bedridden in a full body cast, but when you close your eyes, you can imagine yourself healed and walking again.
You and your kids could wake up in your one-bedroom apartment listening to water drip into a bucket under the most recent ceiling leak, but then you close your eyes and see yourself being handed the keys to your beautiful new four-bedroom, two-bath home in a safe, quiet neighborhood.
You could be at Christmas dinner sitting next to your drunk uncle with other family members arguing across the table, but then close your eyes and see a peaceful, joyful family get-together where everyone is showing each other love and sharing testimonies of God’s faithfulness.
You could even be in a jail cell, counting down the days until you’re able to hold your child again, but when you close your eyes, you’re at her seventh birthday party, snapping pics with glittery unicorns and princess tiaras.
Don’t belittle your imagination! It’s God given. It’s divine. Those daydreams could be God trying to show you a glimpse of the future that is possible for you if you would only believe Him enough to move toward it.
If you could change one relationship, one situation in your life, one part of your daily living, what would it be? Close your eyes and imagine. Then ask God to help shape your dreams into reality.”

A Radical Persecuted Church
Learning from the Persecuted Church
Christian persecution is one of the biggest human rights conflicts of our time. Not only our time, but the first century church as well. Millions of Christians living all over the world are experiencing high levels of persecution. There is a lot to learn from those who boldly witness and testify for Christ no matter the cost to themselves.
Radical Faith

"THAT CONTAINER IS LYING ABOUT ITS CONTENTS"
Matthew 7:15, “Be on your guard against false prophets; they come to you LOOKING LIKE SHEEP on the OUTSIDE, but on the INSIDE they are really like wild WOLVES.” (GNT)
My two favorite seasons are Winter and Fall! Winter, because I love Christmas, snow, carols, decorations and the like. And Fall, because I love the colors, Thanksgiving, the start of the scent of fireplaces, but most of all,…

Vigilantly seeking the things that are above
Vigilantly seeking the things that are above
Today we will be looking at the topic of vigilance. When we vigilantly “seek the things that are above,” we are not only looking forward to a heavenly eternity, but we should be finding ways to enact heavenly principles in the here and now, incorporating our new, spiritual kingdom life into the life we are living now.
The apostle Paul stated it this way:
Colossians 3:1-3 – If then you were…

The Relationship Between Farming and Holiness
Analogies are helpful and here is a good one from a godly leader who now lives with Jesus. Jerry Bridges was a long time staff member with the Navigators, a discipleship ministry that started in the military but has expanded in to worldwide discipling movement.
Wise words from Jerry Bridges and his classic book The Pursuit of Holiness.
Here’s the analogy that Bridges uses:

Can you imagine that what GOD meant by
my cup overfloweth in the presence of my
enemies.. it meant HIS joy/comfort will flow
freely out to us, as they too drink from it to
a much different effect if not Chosen, kind
of like Indiana Jones & the Holy Grail even
in the movie it was the rich man’s female
counterpart who gave him the apple/sinful
choice [gold goblet] that led to his demise
which was not immediate either..wait for it
He chose poorly.. or wisely to suffer
Not to say any of us can choose wisely in &
of our own volition, we can't [Phil 2:13]
Psalm 23:5; 45:7; 75:8; 2 Corinthians 2:16
Psalm 23:5 | The LORD Is My Shepherd
[Ezekiel 34:11-24; John 10:1-21] ⁵ YOU
prepare a table before me in the presence
of my enemies. YOU anoint my head with
oil [oil of joy]; my cup overflows.
Psalm 45:7 | ⁷ You have loved righteousness
and hated wickedness; therefore GOD, your
GOD, anointed you above your companions
with the oil of joy.
Psalm 75:8 | For a cup is in the hand
of the LORD — full of foaming #wine
mixed w/ spices. HE pours from HIS
cup, and all the #wicked of the Earth
drink it down to the dregs.
But I will proclaim HIM forever; I will
sing praise to the GOD of Jacob.
2 Corinthians 2:16 | Triumph in CHRIST
¹⁶ To the one, we are an odor of death and
demise; to the other, a fragrance that brings
life. And who is qualified for such a task?

FAITH!
• “Now FAITH is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” —Hebrews 11:1
• “And without FAITH it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” —Hebrews 11:6
• “I tell you the truth, if you have FAITH as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” —Matthew 17:20
• “Fight the good fight of the FAITH. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. ” —1 Timothy 6:12
• “We live by FAITH not by sight.” —2 Corinthians 5:7
• “Be on your guard; stand firm in the FAITH; be men of courage, be strong.” —1 Corinthians 16:13
Faith is the most important gift a Christian has (other than Salvation in Jesus Christ and God’s Word: The God-breathed, Spirit-filled Holy Bible). With God and faith, the impossible can become the possible. Hebrews chapter 11 (https://bible.com/bible/116/heb.11.NLT) is all about the faith of people in the Bible: Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses (and his parents), Rahab and the people of Israel! And these are just the people mentioned in Hebrews 11! There are many more ordinary people throughout the Bible who were chosen by God and, by faith (and with God’s help), did amazing, miraculous things.
Friend (just like the people in the Bible), with faith and God’s help, there is nothing you and God can't achieve together. Keep seeking God’s will, keep praying, keep believing (Lk 11:9-10, Mk 11:24) and you will see miracles begin to happen. Amen and Hallelujah! 🙌🙌🙌

Covenants, Old and New: Old Fashioned, or Cutting Edge?
Covenants, Old and New: Old Fashioned, or Cutting Edge?
Covenants are a more definitive way to describe contracts that have more substance or are of greater importance. It has been applied to politics, real estate law, and religion. Outside of those parameters we don’t seem to use it much. Surely covenants are old-fashioned, a thing of the past, right? The Bible is an ancient book, and it speaks about them over and over:
Where are Covenants in the…
