the unnamed mc believed their curse formed a holy groupmind.

if mc's curse affects everyone the same way, is it too presumptuous to say they may have killed several people? maybe even hundreds if their temple served a larger population?

they may have used their curse haphazardly, convinced distorting the minds of others was somehow a good thing.

but what if the curse doesn't affect everyone in the same way? mr chokey was jeff-the-killer-ified due to it, but maybe that doesn't happen to everyone. if it did, why would any religious organization think it appropriate to use on its patrons? unless it's a very out-there cult, i suppose + it's also not unheard of for sermons to get a little crazy (speaking in tongues, exorcisms, snake churches, etc) so maybe unnamed mc's superiors thought the curse's effects appropriate after all?

so then how many people did they touch? just a few? dozens? hundreds? did all those touched have to be killed, or did they kill others? was every sunday at church a bloodbath???

how much blood is on the unnamed mc's hands????

Friendly reminder (or intro explainer) that show bibles are reference documents that evolve with a series and get updated as the writers make changes. Despite what the name might make it sound like, nothing in them is set in stone. They're guidelines for focus and consistency, and getting writers on the same page.

Actually writing the script leads to an evolving understanding of the story, plot, characters, etc., often in unexpected directions. So the writers update the show bible to compile new insights and account for changes, again to keep everyone on the same page.

Nothing is confirmed until the finalized show.

Responsibility

twas thinking about my other vegas post where i had wondered if Vegas had taught Macau how to tie his shoes and i’ve been plagued with the thought ever since. Just the usual, loss of childhood over the burden of responsibility at a young age, type deal.

i feel like there is a lot to be said about the emotional manipulation with the hedgehogs and how Vegas’s empathy is real it’s just kinda buried away. idk it’s just hard to shake the thought of Vegas being a little boy, craving his fathers love and trying to be as good as possible, caring for his hedgehogs and his little brother, but over time things change and hedgehogs die and fathers get meaner. Vegas wants to hide Macau away but at the same time he fears this family is all they were meant for, and one day he’ll fail Macau and lose him too because of course Vegas was always meant to be alone.

Which is why i think it’s so important that Pete verbalizes that he’ll stay with Vegas in the hospital despite him having “nothing left” because its almost like he’s assuring Vegas that he was always more than just a part of the minor family. Pete truly saw Vegas and it simply makes me unwell
