[The camera flickers on, revealing Zack sitting in a circle of his tired-looking friends—Sephiroth, Angeal, and Genesis—on the floor of the break room. Zack grins from ear to ear]

We're gonna play spin the bottle!” Zack says. “And we're all excited, aren't we, guys?”

[A chorus of unenthusiastic no’s and a singular “I was forced to be be here” from Sephiroth follows]

Zack nods. “Great! Since we're all on board—” He pulls out the bottle and places it in the middle— “Sephiroth, you go first!”

[The camera is pointed backwards at Sephiroth. Sephiroth looks directly into the camera]

“Help me.”

[Zack groans and zooms out, fitting himself into the frame]

“Don't be a sore sport. Cooperate! It's Valentine’s day! Besides, you can kiss whoever it lands on on the cheek.”

[The camera focuses on Sephiroth again, who sighs before taking a tentative spin at the glass. The bottle whirls around before coming to a stop, pointing directly at Angeal, who deadpans]

“You have got to be kidding me,” Angeal groans.

“Alright, buddy, brace yourself for some love! Sephiroth, kiss him!”

[Sephiroth sighs, then leans in before Angeal can argue. He plants a gentle kiss on Angeal's cheek. Angeal, in turn, scoffs and wipes his cheek]

"There you go! Not so bad, right?” Zack gives the camera a thumbs up. “Now's my turn!”

[Zack gives the camera to Sephiroth, who holds it awkwardly before clumsily filming Zack spinning the bottle. They all wait with bated breaths as the bottle slows, then points directly at Genesis]

“How lucky am I?” Genesis leans back, tapping the floor pensively. “Just a few questions before I allow your lips anywhere near my face.”

“Shoot,” Zack replies.

“Spin the bottle was your idea, correct?”

“Correct!”

“And you would do anything for this vlog of yours, correct?”

[Sephiroth moves the camera back and forth between them]

“Correct!”

“And it's Valentine's day, so it's all in good fun and no one can get mad at each other, Correct?”

“Correct!”

[Genesis smirks mischievously, offering Zack his cheek for a kiss. However, just as Zack leans in, Genesis swiftly moves, grabbing the bottle and breaking it over Zack's head]

[The room erupts into laughter as Zack gapes in shock. Sephiroth shakily veers the camera backwards to film himself]

“In a perfect world, Zack would not tolerate such disrespect, and would seek revenge immediately.”

[The video cuts out]

[The next video starts with a shaky, blurry image as Sephiroth desperately tries to focus the camera. Screaming is heard in the background]

“IF YOU EVER TRY THAT AGAIN I'LL SHOVE YOUR BOOK RIGHT UP YOUR—”

“ZACK, ENOUGH!” Angeal's voice screams.

Zack ignores him. “THEY’LL SOONER FIND THE TALENT YOU DON'T HAVE BEFORE THEY FIND THE REST OF YOUR BODY!”

[Zack is seen trying to lunge at Genesis with a broken piece of the bottle, while Angeal struggles to restrain him. Genesis has a broomstick—that he was probably using to sweep up the glass—as a weapon of self defense and is screaming at Zack while waving at him]

“COME AT ME,” Zack screams. “TOUCH ME AGAIN AND I'LL MAKE SURE THE TITLE OF YOUR EULOGY IS CALLED LIFELESS!”

[Sephiroth pans the camera at himself briefly]

“In a perfect world, my mother would come back and—”

[He ducks as Zack throws a piece of glass at his head]

[The video ends]

Grian: London, 1893; an architect that stays closed up in his studio working. He is gay, and considering the era he lives in, he is ashamed and afriad of anyone finding out. Reserved, snappy, and a bit of a bastard underneath. He just wants to be accepted, but never believes it can happen.

Scar: California, 1987; former action super star. He's struggling to find work because he is a vocal advocate for gay rights. Optimistic, stubborn, and unwilling to pretend to be something he is not. He leaps without looking and seizes the moment when it comes. He's an incurable romantic <3

Jimmy: England, 1940; soldier, just drafted to join the war effort. He's not a fighter and is afraid of war; he doesn't think he will make it back. Brave (or foolhearty, depending on who you ask), sensitive, and loyal. He is a young romantic who dreamed of a great love and a family, but he is resigned to never having it.

Scott: UK, 2012; vlogger. His brand is similar to irl, based on that on vlog video he did a while back; openly gay. Cynical, sarcastic, and always teasing and poking fun. He is slow to love but loves deeply.

Scar and Grians story is seperate to Jimmy and Scotts. Flower husbands' is a lot sweeter and softer, while Scarian's is a story of Grian finding self acceptance through his love for Scar. They both end, however, in tragedy. Such is the nature of the game.

Basically a mission goes Very wrong and eight almost gets killed but... hey! Captain to the rescue, or like. Sacrifice since they kind of die uh. Yeah.

Passing away in a pool of their own blood, and eight cant do anything but watch... in their last moments on earth, ripley holds her hand as tightly as they can and tells her they love her.

Their hand let go, though. She will never be able to forget the sound lg their last breath. She carries their dead body, least she could do, they deserve a proper funeral. Though she wasnt really thinking of that, she just wanted to hold them one last time.

For their funeral...She could barely talk, it took everything she had for her little speech at their funeral. It ended with a poem. Said poem was slightly based on the first poem she ever wrote them. Shes the last to leave, too. she wants to stay by their grave for a little longer, little longer that turns into hours. marina has to come back to get her to go home, in the night, soaked by the rain. It hides her tears, thats nice.

She stares at the ring on her finger, often. Just looking at it, shining in the light. Brings back happy memories, for a few moments. Then reality comes back, tears her apart.

She goes to see their grave often. At first it was every day, now a bit less, she doesnt have the energy sometimes. Brings the prettiest flowers she can find. Doesnt compare to their beauty though. Oh well, at least she tried.

She still writes poems about them. They cant read them anymore, obviously. But she never stopped loving them, so she never stopped writing

In her best moments, she simply hopes that theyre enjoying their time in heaven. Do they miss her? She wonders...

She misses them, a lot. She misses them more than anything in the world, she would do anything to hear their voice, feel their hand holding her own....

Often, she watches old videos she took w her phone in the past. Her favorite is a video where theyre cooking, you can hear them singing some old song, quiet voice. They turn around and see her recording, they blush and quickly hides their face by pulling their t-shirt to cover it. Stops when she reassures them shes not vlogging or anything, it's just for her. They say ok, i love you and smile, turns back and goes back to cooking

A part of her, ripped out, forever lost. Her heart and soul. Sometimes she feels like she died at the same time as them... its easier, somehow.

such a good question!! i have different characterizations of them in my head for different stories but i'll use stereotypes here

sirius' is youtube. he vlogs. look at him at tell me he isn't a camera-in-your-face vlogger as soon as he realized he COULD vlog. and he likes watching all kinds of videos that teaches him how to do stuff. he's a fix-it kind of guy and yt helps that

remus love. old man wouldn't know howwww to use social media but he would be on the apps, and check it once a week. once a month maybe. anyway i think he would like pinterest best because there are less real "social" interaction but he would also tear up at the sad quotes he gets.

james my man is probably a tiktoker. he thinks he's so cool getting shirtless for a camera (he is. everyone is gagged over it) but yk. short attention span needs silly little quick videos. he also sends his friends sooo many videos. and he cries at the soldiers coming home vids.

peter is on twitter/x religiously starting and being the drama and getting banned every two days.
