Sometimes players go off the rails and make for some of the coolest, most interesting story beats you never thought of and are thrilled at the chance to work with. Other times they break off on their own, go cave-diving, ignore all your warnings, try to blast through the wall into a boss room they’re about 7lvls too low for, and nearly sink the entire fucking island. It’s a toss-up!

Oh, absolutely. They keep you on your toes, and that's most of the fun!

Of course, I've never really identified with the "campaign on rails" metaphor. I'm not the conductor of a train, I'm the captain of a pirate ship! I have a destination in mind, but for my own very sexy private reasons, I've chosen not to tell my crew. And the choices they make will very much determine the route we take. No rails, just oceans full of possibilities! And one of those possibilities might be the sinking of my ship or a complete mutiny, but I'm not going down easily because I know how to show my crew a fun time!

The character 心 is actually an abstraction of an anatomical drawing of a heart!

Vocab + explanations:

心, or heart-mind, is a very common character that is also used as a 부수 or radical, a basic character with meaning. It has an alternative form that looks like 忄.

心 is a hugely important concept that represents both the heart and mind. Unlike in Western thought, where the two are separated clearly, early writings from China stress the relation of the emotions and thoughts. Unsurprisingly, many of the words related to 心 are centered around emotion! It is also used to reference the idea of centrality, as in the three below.

中心地[중심지]{hub}———- we learned this one before with 中!

心房[심방]{atrium}—————————— heart x room

點心[점심]{lunch}——————————-point x heart

More commonly, we see reference to emotions, as in these three:

心情[심정]{one’s heart, feelings}——————heart x feeling

А ещё в ноябре интернет собираются отключать. Что делать? Если пока ещё есть интернет и пока ещё есть свободное время, можно отвлечься от гадостей г0внореала в игре. Например, в Lineage II. Можно играть дварфом и дестром (про них следующий пост)..  Для простоты и лаконичности -  дварфов будем называть гномами.

Не спешите сдать ресурсы за копейку. Торговля спойлером нудная, но играйте на том, когда кому-то очень приспичит сделать вещь, а ресов нет. 7. Отслеживайте рынок, что пользуется наибольшим спросом, то и спойлите. 8. Лучший помощник спойлера - волк, как ни странно. Если позволяют финансы заведите волка, она будет наносить дополнительный урон (порой покруче вас), и моб убивается в 2 раза быстрее. Так же удобно спойлером растить дракончиков, можно подзаработать на продаже. 9. Постарайдесь до 40го уровня наспойлить Coal себе на крафт, потому что дальше он спойлится не будет.
