One more character that I really wanted to include in my Christmas Minis set 3 🎁 is Baby Polar Bear! 🐻‍❄️ The only question for me was his size—should it be a regular Mini or a middle-sized Mini? 🤔 So, I went the Halloween Bad Cat 🐈‍⬛ way and made it middle-sized! No regrets! 😍

Happy World Book Day! 📖❤️

Couldn't let this day pass without a special post from your truly, the bookish amigurumi artist.

If you're wondering why there's a dragon in there, it's because today is also Saint George, you know, the one who defeated the dragon, and in some parts of Spain it's tradition to gift your loved ones a rose or a book (that's why Darcy is holding a rose too!)

Mr Biggles!!!!

I'm so happy with how this little dude turned out. He's much bigger than my previous ones, so I posed him with my creepy nendoroid doll for scale so you could hopefully get an idea of the size. He's a present for my sister, who asked specifically for him for her birthday (and his face to be scared lmao). She's completely wild about it from what I can tell. He makes me think that the one youtooz are making should have been so much fuzzier ngl. Technical details below the cut!

I worked off the AradiyaToys Kenny pattern for this mostly, but I used the hair from their Butters pattern (which I quickly realized I'd already figured out myself, but I digress) and custom ears and tummy using circles.

The bulk of his body is worked on Schachenmayr Baby Smiles Lenja Soft paired with some brown 4ply cotton for strength, and Sirdar Snowflake and Snuggly Bunny for the other details. His head is wholly cotton (barring the felt) and uses some doubled-up Scheepjes Catona with a random Aran cotton I lost the label for for his hair. I'm continuing to paint over the felt for the eyes and painting on details, as I really like the consistency it provides. I'm so happy with how I can move his hood up and down - my partner came up with that one pretty early on.

I'll probably add some legs because the base isn't too clear, but I'll need to order more Baby Smiles first 😅

kenny done!! he went a little faster than cartman (smaller doll, ive got a bit more practice, etc) but then i dragged ass on his arms bc theyre so small theyre kind of a pain in the ass to do, so he could have been done like a day ago

thid time i put a lil round of cardboard in the bottom so kennys feet lay flat and i really wish i had done with with cartman. not bad enough to open him up and add one tho 👼

pattern is once again from aradiyatoys with a lil bit of modification

A whole big dump of treats I’ve made over October!

the tart is pumpkin with a pecan crust and caramel and whipped cream drizzled over the top. The cake is a chocolate chip vanilla with chocolate and vanilla buttercream. The cupcakes are chocolate orange with chocolate orange cream cheese frosting(those are supposed to be orange blossoms on top but someone told me they looked like gnomes so….up to interpretation I guess lol) And the cake is vanilla with strawberry icing! The little crochet guys are for a friend’s baby shower.

I spent a solid day working on a present for my mom! Too much trial and error in the details. She recently sold her old fun4all vampire Kyle, so I decided to recreate it in miniature form for her using the Kyle pattern by AradiyaToys (with adjustments to the hat because my green yarn in my stash was thicc) as the story behind her owning the plush in the first place struck a chord.

I had to paint over the felt on the eyes because the glue I used gave it random yellow patches x.x I traced a template for them off an image of another plush because I am TERRIBLE at that crap otherwise. I used acrylic paint and literally painted his fangs on with a sewing needle. Fabric paint might be better, but ngl acrylic has a way of staying in fabric when you don't want it to and this isn't a plush for heavy play lmao. I also stayed up to an absurd time so that she could have it this morning. I want to make Kenny too because she owned the Downpace Kenny plush, but I want to make sure that I use the yarn that fits my standards and keeps them to scale lmao
