50 Years Ago: Apollo 17
Not long after midnight on Dec. 7, 1972, the last crewed mission to the Moon, Apollo 17, lifted off with three astronauts: Eugene Cernan, Harrison Schmitt, and Ronald Evans.
Experience the Apollo 17 launch and follow the mission in real time.
Tumblr media
Meet the Crew
Let’s meet the astronauts who made the final Apollo trip to the Moon, including the first scientist-astronaut.
Gene Cernan: In 1972, Apollo 17 Mission Commander Eugene A. Cernan had two space flights under his belt, Gemini 9 in June 1966, and Apollo 10 in May 1969. He was a naval aviator, electrical and aeronautical engineer and fighter pilot.
Ron Evans: Apollo 17 Command Module Pilot Ronald E. Evans was selected as a member of the 4th group of NASA astronauts in 1966. Like Cernan, he was an electrical and aeronautical engineer, and naval aviator before his assignment to the Apollo 17 crew.
Harrison (Jack) Schmitt: Lunar Module Pilot Dr. Harrison (Jack) Schmitt joined NASA as a member of the first group of scientist-astronauts in 1965. Before working for NASA, Schmitt was a geologist at the USGS Astrogeology Center. He was on the backup crew for Apollo 15 before being selected for the prime crew of Apollo 17. He became the first of the scientist-astronauts to go to space and the 12th human to walk on the Moon.
Tumblr media
The Blue Marble
“The Blue Marble,” one of the most reproduced images in history, was taken 50 years ago on Dec. 7, 1972 by the Apollo 17 crew as they made their way to the Moon.
Tumblr media
Bag of Soup, Anyone?
NASA astronauts have an array of menu items to stay well fed and hydrated on missions. For Apollo 17, the menus allocated around 2,500 calories per day for each astronaut. They included:
Bacon Squares
Peanut Butter Sandwiches
Frankfurters
Lobster Bisque
Like anything going to space, weight and containment matter. That's why the Apollo 17 menu included plenty of soups and puddings.
Tumblr media
Synchronicity
On Dec. 11, 2022,  the Artemis I mission will be splashing down on Earth after its 25.5-day mission. At 2:55 p.m. 50 years prior, the Apollo 17 lunar module (LM) landed on the Moon, with Commander Gene Cernan and LM Pilot Harrison Schmitt on board. Ron Evans remained in the Command and Service Module (CSM) orbiting the Moon.
Experience the landing.
Tumblr media
Planting the Flag
One of the first tasks the Apollo 17 crew did on their first moonwalk was to plant the American flag. There’s no wind on the Moon, but that doesn’t mean the flag has to droop. Did you know that a horizontal rod with a latch makes the flag appear to be flying in the wind? Gene Cernan carefully composed this photo to get Schmitt, the flag, and the Earth in a single shot.
So, is the flag still there? Images of the Apollo 17 landing site from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera show that in 2011 the flag was still standing and casting a shadow!
Tumblr media
Moon Buggy
During Apollo 17, the Lunar Rover Vehicle (LRV), nicknamed the Moon buggy, logged the farthest distance from the Lunar Module of any Apollo mission, about 4.7 miles (7.5 km).
As a precaution, the LRV had a walk-back limit in the event of an issue; astronauts had to have enough resources to walk back to the lunar module if need be.
Tumblr media
Grab the Duct Tape!
The right rear fender extension of the LRV (Moon buggy) was torn off, kicking up dust as the crew drove, reducing visibility. The crew made a resourceful repair using duct tape and maps.
For LRV fans, visiting an LRV driven on the Moon is a bit difficult since all three LRVs used on the Apollo 15, 16, and 17 missions were left on the Moon. But you can find an LRV used for training at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington. Read more about the LRV.
Tumblr media
The Perils of Lunar Dust
After the first lunar EVA, Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison Schmitt reported that he suffered from “lunar hay fever” in reaction to the lunar dust. Unlike Earth’s dust particles which are rounded, Moon dust particles are sharp and abrasive, irritating astronaut eyes, nasal passages, and lungs.
Curious about how Moon dust feels and smells? Find out!
Tumblr media
So What’s it Like?
After his return to Earth, Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison Schmitt (on the right) described his time on the Moon:
“Working on the Moon is a lot of fun. It’s like walking around on a giant trampoline all the time and you’re just as strong as you were here on Earth, but you don’t weigh as much.”
Tumblr media
Splashdown!
After 12 days and 14 hours in space, the Apollo 17 astronauts splashed down in the Pacific Ocean at 2:25 p.m. EST on Dec. 19, 1972. It was the longest of all the Apollo missions, with the most photos taken. A recovery team was waiting on the USS Ticonderoga just 4 miles (6.4 km) away to pick up the astronauts, the lunar samples, and the Crew Module.
Tumblr media
When Are We Going Back?
NASA’s Artemis Program has taken its first steps to sending humans back to the Moon with Artemis I, currently on its way back to Earth. The program plans to land humans, including the first women and person of color, on the Moon’s south polar region with its Artemis III mission, currently slated to launch in 2025.

America and the Sea of Serenity Image Credit & Copyright: Gene Cernan, Apollo 17, NASA; Anaglyph by Patrick Vantuyne
Explanation: Get out your red/blue glasses and check out this stereo view of another world. The scene was recorded by Apollo 17 mission commander Eugene Cernan on December 11, 1972, one orbit before descending to land on the Moon. The stereo anaglyph was assembled from two photographs (AS17-147-22465, AS17-147-22466) captured from his vantage point on board the Lunar Module Challenger as he and Dr. Harrison Schmitt flew over Apollo 17's landing site in the Taurus-Littrow Valley. The broad, sunlit face of the mountain dubbed South Massif rises near the center of the frame, above the dark floor of Taurus-Littrow to its left. Piloted by Ron Evans, the Command Module America is visible in orbit in the foreground against the South Massif's peak. Beyond the mountains, toward the lunar limb, lies the Moon's Mare Serenitatis. Four astronauts will venture around the Moon and back again on the Artemis II mission, scheduled for launch no earlier than September 2025.

DO SHADOWS APPEAR ON THE MOON'S SURFACE??
Blog#325
Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023
Welcome back,
The moon is utterly familiar. We see it all the time, in the blue sky during the day, among the stars and planets at night. Every child knows the outlines of the moon’s lava seas: they trace the Man in the Moon or, sometimes, a Rabbit.
This familiarity goes beyond appearances. The moon is actually made of Earth. According to modern theories, the moon was born some 4.5 billion years ago when an oversized asteroid struck our planet. Material from Earth itself spun out into space and coalesced into our giant satellite.
Tumblr media
Yet when Apollo astronauts stepped out onto this familiar piece of home, they discovered that it only seems familiar. From the electrically-charged dust at their feet to the inky-black skies above, the moon they explored was utterly alien.
On the next sunny day, step outdoors and look inside your shadow. It’s not very dark, is it? Grass, sidewalk, toes–whatever’s in there, you can see quite well.
Tumblr media
Your shadow’s inner light comes from the sky. Molecules in Earth’s atmosphere scatter sunlight (blue more than red) in all directions, and some of that light lands in your shadow. Look at your shadowed footprints on fresh sunlit snow: they are blue!
Without the blue sky, your shadow would be eerily dark, like a piece of night following you around. Weird. Yet that’s exactly how it is on the Moon.
To visualize the experience of Apollo astronauts, imagine the sky turning completely and utterly black while the sun continues to glare.
Tumblr media
Your silhouette darkens, telling you “you’re not on Earth anymore.”
Shadows were one of the first things Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong mentioned when he stepped onto the surface of the moon. “It’s quite dark here in the shadow [of the lunar module] and a little hard for me to see that I have good footing,” he radioed to Earth.
The Eagle had touched down on the Sea of Tranquility with its external equipment locker, a stowage compartment called “MESA,” in the shadow of the spacecraft.
Tumblr media
Although the sun was blazing down around them, Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin had to work in the dark to deploy their TV camera and various geology tools.
“It is very easy to see in the shadows after you adapt for a while,” noted Armstrong. But, added Aldrin, “continually moving back and forth from sunlight to shadow should be avoided because it’s going to cost you some time in perception ability.”
Tumblr media
Truly, moon shadows aren’t absolutely black. Sunlight reflected from the moon’s gently rounded terrain provides some feeble illumination, as does the Earth itself, which is a secondary source of light in lunar skies. Given plenty of time to adapt, an astronaut could see almost anywhere.
Almost. Consider the experience of Apollo 14 astronauts Al Shepard and Ed Mitchell:
Tumblr media
They had just landed at Fra Mauro and were busily unloading the lunar module. Out came the ALSEP, a group of experiments bolted to a pallet. Items on the pallet were held down by “Boyd bolts,” each bolt recessed in a sleeve used to guide the Universal Handling Tool, a sort of astronaut’s wrench. Shepard would insert the tool and give it a twist to release the bolt–simple, except that the sleeves quickly filled with moondust. The tool wouldn’t go all the way in.
Tumblr media
The sleeve made its own little shadow, so “Al was looking at it, trying to see inside. And he couldn’t get the tool in and couldn’t get it released–and he couldn’t see it,” recalls Mitchell.
“Remember,” adds Mitchell, “on the lunar surface there’s no air to refract light–so unless you’ve got direct sunlight, there’s no way in hell you can see anything. It was just pitch black. That’s an amazing phenomenon on an airleuss planet.”
(Eventually they solved the problem by turning the entire pallet upside down and shaking loose the moondust. Some of the Boyd bolts, loosened better than they thought, rained down as well.)

WEW I made. references. I think I'm pretty happy with how they look now
for those who are new to my blog: Aster is a virtual assistant in an abandonware operating system named CaelOS. Aster isn't one AI however, it's a collective name for two AI's residing in it - Rigel and Vega. Both of them have separate functions with different levels of access to the system.
Rigel is more focused on the actual user experience and is your usual virtual assistant deal - talkative and happy to answer anything for you. ...As long as it doesn't involve troubleshooting. Rigel is rather cheerful in demeanor, always ready to assist, but that image quickly breaks if something goes wrong with the OS- No- of COURSE he's qualified to fix that botched driver for you! He just needs a little time :) haha
Vega's area is the background system things the average user doesn't need to bother themselves with: system maintenance, actual troubleshooting Rigel has no way of doing, updates, and searching + handling malware. However his access to the resources necessary for composing speech are pretty limited in comparison. He's able to express himself but is confined to more choppy, short sentences, occasionally just using any text that's present in the system already.
While the two can cooperate verbally, to be able to actually perform in their respective areas the two have to let the other take charge. Only it seems like there's... a few issues to take care of first.
[First image ID:
Turn around reference of Aster: a humanoid being in a tuxedo-esque suit, with round poofed up shoulders and a triangular tail on the coat, round rays resembling a star. His right hand has a long poofy sleeve, the other has a elbow-long glove. They're shown standing in front view, back view and side view.
Reference shows Aster with Rigel fronting: the tie and backs of his hands feature the astronomical symbol of the Sun, and he's colored in a white-orange-red color scheme, with a smiling expression.
Text reads: "Aster. Module: Altair [stricken out] Rigel. User Experience agent. Adult. He/him".

As they say, Fuck it we ball.
This is not your typical fantasy world post as I just came up with a new setting that would be AMAZING in a visual medium.
So basically an unknown number of centuries ago, humanity was a spacefaring civilization that controlled the entire solar system. However, the The Fall happened. Nobody (not even me (or mete me)) knows what happened during The Fall, as everyone forgot it. What happened was that humanity lost their technology, and now everybody is planetbound. The most advenced civilization is venus with a mix of 1990's and 1860's tech, and even then they're in a crisis. You see, venus wasn't terraformed, and so the population had to live in the clouds. After all these years that passed, these cities are running out of fuel to stay afloat, so there's a huge crisis going on about terraforming venus with what they have. And they don't have a lot.
The moon is a very wierd place. It only has medieval technology, but it's the only terraformed body in the solar system. A majority of its population doesn't even know that they once lived on that blue dot in the sky. However, those that do, seek it with religious reverance. The people of the tranquil sea know that the lunar module is still there under the thousand of liters of water that make up the tranquil sea. And they believe that it can take them home.
Saturn has many people, but the thing that made me write this is in the clouds. Before The Fall there were ships deployed for people to live in inside saturn. From these ships, people modified them after The Fall for manual use, as they had forgotten how to use autopilot. These ships were transformed into cities, and they all have botanical gardens to generate oxygen. The cities are piloted by labourers pushing immense gears to move even more massove propellers through the saturnian "atmosphere". They stay afloat by balloons big enough to hold a herd of elephants. I wish I could draw or 3d model them, as the sights are fucking BEAUTIFUL in my head. Not even ai can satisfy this urge of mine.
I think that's it for the loredump y'all. Please ask questions, as this setting is so new that they might signifigantly affect the setting. And as always, @creepymutelilbugger.

Once again it is time for
Tumblr media
This year's event will be hosted by mahou Zeldas, because I've been spending a lot of time in Hyrule this year.
Tumblr media
Mahou anime of the year:
Tumblr media
(Futari Wa Precure Splash Star, Yes! Precure 5, Yes! Precure 5 GoGo, Smile Precure!, Mahou Tsukai Precure!, Hirogaru Sky Precure!, Otona Precure, Tokyo Mew Mew New s2, Magical Destroyers, Zettai Bouei Leviathan, Petite Princess Yucie, season movies for Splash Star, Yes5, Yes5 GoGo, Smile & Delicious Party, Crossover movie for Fresh Precure!)
Then the stuff I read:
Tumblr media
(Saint Tail, Stellar Witch Lips, Magical Girl Tsubame, W.i.t.c.h. reboot, Smile Precure novel, Null Magical Girl, Magia Record Scene Zero)
I also keep up with what kind of designs Magia Record releases though I don't play it or otherwise follow the story.
Extremely Precure year this time around though that was not intentional, usually I only manage one backlog season per year. But I started with Smile, and then we were hit with the news that we'd have a Yes5/Splash Star sequel in autumn, and in preparation for that I had to power through some 150 episodes for the original series. And then I somehow ended up watching all of Mahou Tsukai in less than 2 weeks. And then there was Otona as well of course.
Tumblr media
Now there's only three backlog seasons left, and they should be doable in a year if the Mahou Tsukai sprint is of any indication, though we'll see how that goes. I'd like to take a look at other similar shows too (like Doremi and Sailor Moon) but I want to clear Precure first before moving to the next thing.
The W.i.t.c.h. reboot was also a thing this year, which seems to have come and went with a thud. Which is a shame because I was looking forward to it, but... well it wasn't particularly good. I guess it can pick up of there's more to the story.
For the first time I've followed a Magia Record (game) story, with Scene Zero. The format is difficult but I am interested, so it's possible I'll look into more MagiReco stories once Scene Zero is over. The game has so many cute characters so I'd certainly like to know more about them.
This year I also took part in ArtFight and did some mostly mahou themed OC art, which was a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to doing the same next year as well if they host the event again.
Now onto the awards!
Best henshin design goes to Cure Sky! Blue lead Cure aside this is a top tier magical girl design, and that is mostly thanks to the cape, especially the red inside and yellow fringe. It looks so majestic! But being a half-cape prevents her from looking too stuffy. The thin twintails also look great with the cape in action shots. And of course she is also stupidly cute.
Tumblr media
Also a shoutout to Saint Tail's simple but very effective look with a rarely seen colour scheme.
Best team design goes to Stellar Witch Lips! Similar enough to be a team but everyone has their own take on the theme, black makes for a good base colour and the sparkly tops look amazing.
Tumblr media
Best powerup design goes to Cure Felice's Alexandrite form! She looks so regal and powerful, truly a nature goddess!
Tumblr media
Best civilian design goes to Cure Sky in general! I just like her practical style and the clothes look all comfy.
Tumblr media
Best hair goes to Junia! It looks so soft and poofy and her pastel colour palette makes everything even cuter.
Tumblr media
Best magical item goes to the tiara and amulets in Petite Princess Yucie! They aren't that special to be honest but I'm always ready for magical items that don't look like cheap plastic toys.
Tumblr media
Best henshin scene goes to Cure Sky! A lot of dynamic animation, the tinted split screen at the end is fresh for Precure, the modulation in the middle amps up the power, the dark background makes everything a little bit cooler, and the cape flip and wings at the end just look amazing.
youtube
Best fan creation goes to ArtFight in general! It was my first time participating, and getting to draw other people's ocs on a low threshold was great, and obviously receiving a ton of art of my own ocs felt amazing.
Tumblr media
Best relationship goes to the group in Petite Princess Yucie! I really like how the side characters have distinct relationships with each other and not just the main character, and how not everyone gets along all the time (or most of the time with Glenda and Elmina). The fact that they're also rivals makes things more interesting and everything culminates successfully in the power of friendship in the end.
Tumblr media
Best mascot goes to Saki's cat Korone! Not exactly a traditional Precure mascot but he does become more mascot-like towards the end. Absolute unit of a cat, gets a funny deep voice and even lands a hit on the final boss, and most importantly isn't annoying.
Tumblr media
Best supporting character goes to Kintoleski from Splash Star! He's a pretty simple character but I like villains who are honourable and polite, and he managed to be consistently funny as well.
Tumblr media
Best visual goes to Stellar Witch Lips! The story wasn't really anything to write home about but the ultra cute and sparkly art is just magical.
Tumblr media
Best audio goes to Updradft Shining bgm! It's surprisingly epic for such an early series attack and it'd be cool if the franchise used music like this more.
youtube
A honourable mention to Tsubasa's eagle sound effect in the Majestic Halation attack, Mabayu's (MagiReco) silly "nuwawawa" scream of pain in a decidedly serious scene, and every "Haa!" from Ha-chan.
Best scene goes to the separation and reunion scene from Mahou Tsukai Precure! Or I guess that's more like half of an episode. Really impressive how they spent so much time on pretty low-key character stuff like this.
Honourable mention to the big battle towards the end of Petite Princess Yucie.
The Innovation award is given to a magical girl work that I think does something fresh for the genre. This year it goes to Hirogaru Sky! Precure for having a boy Cure, an adult Cure and most importantly a non-pink lead Cure! Which isn't particularly notable for the genre as a whole but a gigantic achievement for this franchise. Hopefully it wasn't just a 20 year celebratory fluke and we'll see more variety in the future too.
The Golden Mana award is the prize given to one thing I didn't like.
Tumblr media
This year it goes to the henshin forms in Otona Precure, or more specifically the way it did absolutely nothing about them. No adults-as-magical girls, no new looks as 14-year-olds, and not even a new powerup form for the final finisher. Boo! I'm not really saying that the show is required to include new forms just because I wanted it or because it's common in the genre, but that would definitely have made me a lot more forgiving of its many other flaws. And this is my list so I get to complain about my preferences.
Dishonourable mention to Nozomi's catchphrase in Yes5 and GoGo for exemplifying the selfish and pushy aspect of pink heroines like this that often goes uncriticised.
Best character goes to Cure Sky! In addition to the excellent character design she also has a fun personality, "earnest dumbass" is a great combo, and her determination is just great. I also like that she isn't super girly for once. The story of Hirogaru isn't that good so Sora too is held back from having a truly awesome story, but as a character she is still enjoyable enough.
Tumblr media
Best work goes to Petite Princess Yucie! It has fun characters, great designs, good group dynamics, interesting world and a really strong ending. It's a shame they don't seem to do kids' anime like this nowadays?
Tumblr media
Plans for 2024
Tumblr media
Onwards to 2024! I swear this year I'm going to continue with MagiPro, I've been stuck at volume 7 for several years.

Members of the Kennedy Space Center control room team rise from their consoles with nervous anticipation to witness Neil Armstrong’s landing of Eagle, the lunar module, on the surface of the moon in July 1969.
Armstrong would later reflect that landing was by far his biggest concern, saying “the unknowns were rampant,” and “there were just a thousand things to worry about.”
While the tiny, fragile Apollo lunar lander descended rapidly to the Moon’s surface, its guidance computer disturbed the crew with several unexpected alarms.  Including a 1202, which they had never simulated in training.
Turns out they had overshot the planned landing zone.  The Eagle was coming in ‘long’ or downrange, overshooting the predicted landing zone.
Just after Buzz Aldrin calls out the altitude, “700 feet”, Armstrong replies: “Pretty rocky area.”  They were confronted with a crater field and boulders measuring 10-15 feet across, so Armstrong leveled off at about 400 feet to find a better spot to land.
With a rapidly diminishing fuel supply, they would soon reach the 60-second mark when they would have to abort the mission.
“We heard the call of 60 seconds, and a low-level light came on. That, I’m sure, caused concern in the control center,” Aldrin recalled. “They probably normally expected us to land with about two minutes of fuel left. And here we were, still a hundred feet above the surface, at 60 seconds.”
Just after Armstrong asks “Okay, how’s the fuel?” and Aldrin replies “Eight percent”, Amstrong declares “Okay. Here’s a…looks like a good area here.”
In the final seconds of the white-knuckle descent, the four-legged lunar module made it to the dusty surface.
Aldrin: “Contact Light.” That meant at least one of the probes hanging from three of the craft’s footpads had touched the surface – they had landed on a site they would call “Tranquility Base”.
“Houston, Tranquility Base here,” said Armstrong. “The Eagle has landed.”
“Roger, Tranquility. We copy you down,” came the reply from Charlie Duke in mission control. “You got a bunch of guys down here about to turn blue.”

Debuted these on stream yesterday so I figured I'd officially post these Ryzaman refs I've been working on. In order:
Ryzaman's forms
Ryzaboss, the alleged mech
The Resunator, the transformation device.
More details (with commentary) under the cut.
The Forms
The base form is the default.
Ryzarunt, the suppressed form, is a result of deliberately limiting the power received from the sun, thereby also weakening Ryzaman. Counter-intuitive though it may seem, it does provide the benefit of being significantly tougher than the base form, being able to survive physical warping and blunt damage that would tear the base form apart thanks to Ryzarunt's ability to store energy. This also means hot-swapping between the suppressed form and base form releases that energy, creating a snapping effect. Ryzarunt's low energy and color are based on the concept of the blue hour, the time period where the sun is below the horizon but can still provide light.
Leave it to you to figure out how to make the most of being a weakling. - T
I don't get it. You're weaker on purpose? How's that an accomplishment? - S
Ryzachief is the upgrade form. Realized by pushing the power received from the sun into redline, its key effect is a hefty increase in physical power. This is emphasized - or caused - by an accompanying shift in personality supercharged with energy and obsessed with partying, making Ryzachief an unrestrained force. Seems to enjoy dancing. Its yellow highlights and overall personality are based on the concept of the golden hour, the time period just before the sun sets or rises where there's a yellow-reddish hue in the sky.
That's more like it! - S
So that's the name of this ridiculous form. Is the name some kind of reference to an inside joke...?- T
SunRyza, the final form, cannot be accessed the same way as Ryzarunt and Ryzachief; rather than receiving power from the sun, it's closer to say that SunRyza is the power of the sun itself. Because of this, the form's abilities are completely different to those of previous forms, operating on fundamental forces and abstract concepts rather than superhuman feats. It is the unnatural outcome of one of the sun's creations having to supplant it's authority.
If you ever figure out how to achieve this form again, I also want a turn fighting it. I'll show you the moon isn't inferior to the Sun! - T.
... - S
The Mech
Ryzaboss is a mech that's approximately seven meters (7m/23 ft) tall. Much like Ryzaman, it's diminutive compared to most sentai mechs (which usually weigh in at the 50m-70m range) and therefore is not equipped to deal with large-scale threats like giant monsters. Nevertheless, Ryzaman greatly treasures it, having personally worked out an unspecified arrangement with Tul and the Industrial Union of Rice Beasts to construct it. It also has a flight module (not pictured) based on forward-swept wings which allow it to fly. Its engine is designed to be powered by Ryzaman's manipulation of the sun's energy, meaning he's also the only one who can pilot it. Well, him and the sun, but the latter can't fit in the cockpit.
Who says I can't? - S
Go to hell Ryzaman, I only accepted the role of foreman on the Ryzaboss project because I'm using the proprietary secrets to build my own mech. Although I must admit, I didn't expect your beasts to be so capable at industrial construction. - T
Meow. - RB
The Transformation Device
Called the Resunator, this detonator-like object is used to kickstart Pabs's resonance with the sun, triggering the transformation into Ryzaman. In theory, Pabs might be able to initiate transformation on his own, but it would require a large degree of concentration, which is why the Sun granted him this driver. Thanks to the Resunator's sturdy construction and ergonomic shape, Ryzaman uses is like a knuckleduster. It's really quite useful!
I made it that shape to fit your hand comfortably, you brute! Stop hitting people with it! - S
I knew it! It totally felt like you were punching me with something that isn't your fist when we fought! And it's a knuckleduster, too? Are you a gangster!? - T

“That feel good?”
His modulated voice vibrates against your skin, breaking through the growing cotton in your ears. It’s hard to form words with his gloved hands anchored to your hips. Not guiding or commanding, just resting, securing you to his beskar-clad thigh as you roll your hips.
“Answer me, sweet girl,” He gives an encouraging squeeze. “Do you like grinding against my thigh?”
Your nod is a messy shake as you lean down to bury your head into the crook of his neck.
“Y—yes — fuck — Feels so good, Din.”
The metal cuirass that was once cold is now hot from your grinding thighs. You think you can handle this, grinding against his thick thigh. The sting from the cold metal of his cuirass has subsided to a nice warmth from your moving thighs.
You've got this.
Or at least you think you do. That is until he flexes his muscles underneath you as you rock your hips towards him. Your whine mixes with his low chuckle as you push your bare cunt against the beskar.
“Good girl, you look so beautiful like this. Fucked out and desperate. Humping my fucking thigh just to get off.”
His cuirass is drenched, so much so that your arousal is starting to drip down to wet his pants. The wetness spurs him, gets his hands pushing into your rocking hips in encouragement.
“Din,” You whimper, moving until your clits catches against the beskar. catches when your clit rubs against beskar.
“Keep going, that’s it. Come all over my thigh. Soak me so when I’m gone all I can think about is you.”
Din's helmet covers his face, but you can feel his eyes on you. You don't know if they're brown or blue, but you know they're intense. Even through his helmet you can feel the way his eyes trace watches your open mouth, soaking in the way your lips morph into an “o” as you moan. It only fuels your impending release, the building of pressure between your legs growing more and more, the skin of your inner thighs starting to chaff from your wetness. “D—Din…I — fuck — I n—need…”
You’re stumbling. It’s not enough, you need more. You need him to fall over the edge into bliss.
“What is it? What do you need, sweet girl?” His question is quick, his breath not skipping a beat. It's there in the raspy urgency of his own words that you find comfort. He doesn't need to speak it, you already know.
He needs to see you fall apart almost as much as you need him. He wants to see your eyes roll back, feel your thighs shake against his, touch his wet thigh until it seeps through his gloves, hear the way you moan his name like a prayer.
You beg with your hands, fanatically moving over his own and pulling it to your center. He follows your lead, using his fingers to rub circles against your clit as your hips move harder against you.
“You need my fingers, huh? Poor thing can’t even get off on herself.” His own erection is throbbing in the the confines of his pants. He needs you to come, soak his thigh so he fuck you properly. He needs you wet and open for him so he can spill his cum into you, keeping you marked for when he’s gone hunting.
“Go on, sweet girl. Come for me. Come all over my thigh and I’ll give you my cock. You want that, don't you? Want my cock to split you open? Then come, come all over my thigh and I’ll give you what you want…”
