I will never get over how Sonic trusts Nine with everything and how Nine adopted him after just a few interactions and trusts him enough to share everything with him.

I will never get over how Mangey would hide behind Sonic when scared even though the hedgehog had been there for less than 10 minutes instead of seeking comfort and protection from his life long companions and how Sonic taught Mangey how to fly.

I will never get over how Sonic praised Sails in the middle of a battle even though the fox kit didn't have any gadgets and how Sails would keep catching Sonic before he could fall in the water even when it wasn't established that the hedgehog wasn't an enemy.

Beyond time and dimensions where they've never met, they still hold a trust for each other as if they've known each other for years. They still care for each other. Truly an unbreakable bond and it never fails to make me cry.
