Happy (not) Birthday Waluigi!

lI’m sorry I couldn’t keep up my promise, as usual, my days got pretty erratic. Your B-day got there way faster than expected and I got nothing done. Couldn’t even work on my own personal project(s). I know you don’t actually really care about gifts, you’re just happy when we think about you. But I do care. Very and too much. I feel bad that I didn’t got anything for you, not even a slight sketch. But, oh well, I’m still happy we got to spend time together. You’re my friend, and I’m glad to have your in my life. 

Fictionnal conversation aside, I still plan on drawing Waluigi, I’ll probably won’t be done today or ever, but I’ll work on it each time it come across my mind and I have some free time to spend. Well, I have a lot of free time, but my mind is full of stuff and it’s hard to keep up with it lol. I’ll also try posting often today, like, if there any headcanon about the purple menace that comes across my mind.

Also, remember this post? Well, I wrote some chapters for it. It’s been actually quite conforting to imagine myself living outside of the house, away of like, everything. Won’t go into detail, but let’s just say that the vibes in my family aren’t good at all. Well, mostly one perticular family member, but I’m already venting enough about them to my friends lmao. So yea, may also post some bits of it. As an hommage. Or just because I’m bored.

Not surprised since this is the site that only talks about racism and thinks it’s a big deal when they see it demonstrated in the cartoons and comics they like *coughs* dungeonmeshi *coughs* (for example at least. I haven’t seen THIS many white ppl talk as in depth about racism on here as much as these fandom nerds, man. I stg. Like “Ohhhh, so you all DO acknowledge that racism is real? Just not in real life even if you could feel it slapping you in the face at high speed. Gotcha.” It’s crazy.

Tumblr is like, 90% white and is extremely centered around them. That’s why you barely see stuff that’s important to black and brown people ever trending here or being talked about. It has to be something incredibly huge to the point where even white people can’t ignore it like they usually do, to talk about it here.

They only talked about George Floyd here because the topic of his death became world news. Even people in other countries were talking about it. Before him, it was probably Ferguson and Trayvon Martin… most of them are still trying their best to ignore the genocides because it’s a “touchy subject.” What do you expect from white people who live in their own bubbles of comfort and refuse to pop it with a needle??? They find comfort in their privilege and faux ignorance (they love playing stupid to avoid conversations about important things outside of fandoms like, are these mfs born with half a brain dedicated to fandom or what.) That’s literally all these mfs make a big deal out of, especially on this annoying ass platform. The ao3 mfs will go to war for the site that allows racist ff and cp like it’s no big deal. I wonder how many people here even donated to the site while actively scrolling past dono posts from folks who really do need help. They act like they’re doing a civil service by defending this site that makes over the amount of it’s intended dono goal in minutes.

Then you already know as soon as you even bring up racism in the stuff they like, they start ganging up and harassing black bloggers especially, calling them TERFs and the whole nine. Thinking about the Clive and Bill parallels again...

Both started with pretty average goals (gaining money / getting closure). Both became obsessed with said goals to the point of going through with their plans no matter the cost. Both became consumed by the desire to pursue a goal that isn't actually achievable (You can get more money but it will never feel like it's enough. You can lash out in anger but it won't make the anger go away). Both ended up killing innocents.

And yet.

Bill getting rid of his humanity in the hopes of getting money. Clive getting rid of his money in the hopes of getting his humanity back. Bill claiming he despises people like Clive when he has himself killed innocents for his own selfish plans. Clive claiming he hates politicians and scientists but still using science to build a mecha and politics to justify its use. Bill hiding everything, hiding from Claire that the machine isn't ready, hiding his crime from everyone. Clive exposing everything, exposing his secret base to Layton, exposing Bill and Dimitri's crime by his staging. Bill covering up the incident while Clive broadcasted his crime inside the fortress.

I don't know where I was going with this. Maybe that prime minister Bill looks like a honest citizen, just your regular Londoner really, while Clive is so obviously violent and destructive : and yet, Clive is the dove and Bill the hawk. Funny.
