The Soulless Vincent Theory
Ok so, this is something I typed out on Discord on a whim but I've been thinking about it FOREVER and needed an excuse to finally put it into words that make sense. TW because the Black Butler lore is fucked up, obviously. Also sorry for the lack of paragraphs
Am I the only one who thinks it's possible that Vincent either has no soul or only has a partial soul? Assuming Undertaker is the father, it could be the case that reapers aren't allowed to "meddle in human affairs" because only two humans can create a child with a whole soul. We know reapers should be able to have children because they're essentially in an OP human body (and Grelle's whole motivation in the Jack the Ripper arc revolves around being jealous of cis women specifically which suggests that if she were a cis woman, she'd be able to have children, reaper or not.) This would also make sense of the "new recruits" (citing the reaper ova here) seemingly being all the same age and younger than the on-duty reapers. If reapers have children together, they can't give birth to a body with a soul unless there's a fresh suicide victim's soul waiting in the wings, because if they could, there would be no shortage of staff for Will to complain about. Back to Undertaker though, if he had children with Cloudia, just as in real genetics, they'd have a mix of the parents' traits. So, maybe Francis got the white hair and wicked fighting skills, and Vincent got the lack of a soul. There's something wrong about Vincent's demeanor to me. He's always smiling, it's basically his neutral expression. We almost never see him actually emote about anything, and though he does seem to care about others (his family, for example), so does Real Ciel, who we know for a fact, doesn't have a soul. The same behavior we see in Vincent, we see in real Ciel, not just because they're father and son, but because they both lack a soul. Real Ciel does act more like Vincent in the flashbacks, but not to that extent. He clearly emotes and cares deeply about his brother and his family, to the extent that he wants to give up his position as earl to be with Our Ciel forever. We see no such concern in Bizarre Doll Ciel, who actively sabotages everything his brother worked for and forces him to go on the run. He no longer seems to care for Our Ciel's safety. Similarly, Vincent doesn't even think to train both the boys in the same manner to take over the earldom and title as watchdog, even though there's a chance the younger might have to. Francis on the other hand, trains both her children the same way, because whether or not they're going down the same path, they're still skills that will help them survive and succeed. Vincent, frankly, doesn't seem to care that much about the younger twin's ability to thrive after he's gone. Real Ciel doesn't lack the empathy required to care about others when they're not benefitting him, neither does Our Ciel despite his attitude. Vincent and Bizarre Doll Ciel do. They know enough about human emotions to say what's expected of them. Of course BD Ciel cares about Lizzie, because she's supposed to marry him. Of course Vincent cares about the elder sibling, because he's supposed to take his place as Earl and Watchdog. The people these two care about benefit them in some way. Our Ciel cares about people regardless. He has no reason to let Prince Soma and Agni watch his townhouse, he could just order Sebastian to prevent intruders either himself or by hiring guards. Soma annoys him, but Our Ciel keeps him around despite that.

OCTOBER 29TH - PROUD
(read this on AO3 here)
i'm late already but bay one of dadbastian week let's fucking goooooooooo
anyway general warning for this one: i decided to use it/its pronouns for sebastian for a bit. don't ask me why (there is a reason but i'd need to go on a tangent). it's only for the first part, not the whole thing, so do what you will with that information.
enjoy!
Tumblr media
The demon — Sebastian, now, it thinks, though it can still only hear the name as if coming from its young master’s mouth, both unfitting and imperious — is having some trouble adjusting.
Of course, it would not dare admit such a thing to anyone — but in the dead of night, with no living souls awake to be able to tell or catch even just a glimpse of it all, it is safe to let go a little. Alone and at rest in the manor’s darkest hour, the demon lets itself slip through the cracks of its persona. If it were human, the feeling would be comparable to the removal of an ill-fitting coat, and the relief one feels taking their first unrestricted breaths.
The night only offers a few hours of freedom and time, relentless and cruel as ever, passes too quickly to be thoroughly enjoyed. All too soon, dawn’s first lights, intruders that they are, make their way into the manor, and with them come the duty of being Sebastian again.
Being, becoming this feels entirely wrong still, yet just slightly off. It might be the name — and the thought of sharing it with a dog — or it might be the master, this child whose pieces, bent and askew, won’t fit together anymore — much less under his own borrowed name. It might, in fact, be this new identity altogether, the way Sebastian Michaelis, the Phantomhive butler, somehow clings to the skin but never quite catches on. Stepping into a new role usually comes easy, but this one is odd.
It, Sebastian, he somehow knows that he has chosen a state of self worthy of and adapted to his young master: competent and obedient enough for the prestige the boy wants, yet cocky and contrarian to a fault, difficult and infuriating — something meant to stoke the fire of the boy’s arrogance, to make his noble penchant for entitlement grow fangs of disdain, to pull the worst, most delectable, flaws out of this ridiculously short asthmatic annoyance of a young master. Something ideal, really.
Yet here it is, unable to ever fully become one with himself. It is as if something were missing — but what exactly?
Tumblr media
The answer is, like most things, quite simple.
Tumblr media
Another hard day culminates into a particularly infuriating point.
Lady Elizabeth — bless her soul, Sebastian tells himself with irony dripping from the very thought — comes to visit, and her presence alone is a stronger ill omen than every curse upon the Phantomhive name.
With her come a plethora of issues. The young master stumbles through every interaction with the grace of a blindfolded elephant on a tightrope, the entire place has to be redecorated with garish bows and all sorts of unspeakably pink things, and — the worst part of it all — Sebastian and the earl must pretend he is indeed the Ciel she thinks he is, while the name of the twin who actually stands before her never leaves her lips.
She truly is quite the sweet child, thinking she is sparing her dear friend’s feelings. Infuriating. Sebastian knows the boy agrees — despite his obvious fondness for her — from the way tension seems to spread from the top of his head to the tip of his toes.
And yet, his reaction to Elizabeth and her usual oh, Ciel, won’t yous and Ciel, we shoulds is a far cry from the stiffness with which he greeted her when they were first reunited. Sebastian remembers a boy who barely even responded to what should have been his own name, but what he sees is entirely different: no shying away from her, clear signs of intent listening, and no smile but a somewhat open and attentive expression on his face — somber as usual, yet caring. And he doesn’t flinch at every Ciel anymore.
What an improvement, Sebastian thinks and he finds himself, against all odds, smiling. His master is a quick learner. Perhaps it objectively is not that impressive, but to Sebastian, it feels disproportionately spectacular, and part of him comfortably settles into the feeling of being so foolishly proud of something insignificant.
Tumblr media
Quite simple indeed. What should a butler feel for his prodigious young master, if not pride?
The rest of him should pale in comparison to the need and joy to see the boy succeed — although the accomplishment is, well, identity theft, of all things, it should still be acknowledged — and it does indeed. Sebastian almost forgets himself, forgets his role — both demon and butler — and in those moments he is nothing but the one standing by his boy, and isn’t he doing so well? Does anything matter more than this?
No, nothing does, Sebastian finds himself thinking as he watches the child eat his chocolate cake with too much enthusiasm for it to be proper, especially in front of a lady.

Chapter 2 Kuro live posting .3.
First the scene where Sebastian gets that headdress is 10/10 and this lil Ciel is top tier
he's absolutely loosing his shit rn
Tumblr media
Also Sebastian holding back Ciel... I like to think he did it to show some sort of revenge for being laughed at lol
Tumblr media
And of course we can't forget the immaculate drip that Lizzie picked out for Ciel
Tumblr media
However this scene has and will always make me super uncomfortable
basically I understand why ppl really didn't like Lizzie at first because in this chapter she's portrayed as forcing her will onto others, not in control of her emotions and not respecting boundaries AT ALL
Like bro who tf breaks a ring in reaction to someone very clearly being upset that you took the ring without permission? Even if she doesn't know what the ring means to him... that's still HIS property
Tumblr media
Anyways speaking of the ring
The twin thing really was there from the very beginning. I didn't even notice that line the first times I read the manga
Tumblr media
And lastly we have Ciel venting his feelings and Sebastian going "Shut the fuck up and go to sleep already."

I don't think people who weren't around when Kirapre was airing really understand just like. how bad the Pekorin hate was. And a huge chunk of it came from salty Rio fans who were upset she became a Precure over the character whose character arc in the story revolved around him not becoming a Precure. That was the point. The point was that Rio was not going to become a Precure.
His whole character arc revolved around him coming to terms with his own jealousy towards his twin sister, and realizing that she was not personally trying to hurt him by being more skilled at their shared hobby, especially since he never attempted to communicate how he was feeling. Instead of being happy for his sister's success, he let his own jealousy warp his feelings to the point of hatred... so Ciel becoming a Precure instead of Rio wasn't the writers "being mean to him" or whatever, but a way of showing Rio's character growth. They both wanted to become Precure, much like they both wanted to become patisseries... only this time, Rio has learned that his sister's success where he failed is not her trying to personally hurt him, and instead celebrates it!!!
IDK man. For all that Cure Waffle truthers say they love the character, they have an awfully shallow interpretation of his character and his arc. He was never 'owed' becoming a Precure. Ciel didn't need to apologize for never noticing something he purposefully never talked to her about.
And for fuck's sake, none of this was Pekorin's fault.

by introducing the dead twin, did they effectively make ciel/lizzie the more problematic ship? like. he’s been lying to her about her dead fiancé for years now
he has been pretending to be her dead fiancé for years
like. sebaciel is only fucked up bc seb is hundreds of years old and is probably grooming ciel who is barely 13. but like. ciel knows he’s doing it and is aware of what’s going on and like KNOWS this is a wholeass demon he’s working with and he actively agreed to it and even arguably made it so he had some-to-most of the power in the relationship. 10 year olds legally can’t sign contracts bc they physically can’t fully understand consequences yet but ciel certainly didn’t take it laying down
also what can seb even do to him that is worse than what was already done to him
and in a philosophical way, does it really matter what seb does to him? he’s living for revenge and then seb is going to eat his soul.
i would argue that in some ways sebaciel is more ethical bc it’s fucked up yes but at least they’re keeping it in their own bubble and not getting anyone else involved
i genuinely can’t get over “ciel has been lying to lizzie for years that he is her dead fiancé” in the sense of people who would argue that it’s the better ship of the two
like actually both ships are problematic and we should appreciate them for what they are
this is not anti ciel/lizzie btw. i have anti ciel/lizzie words with this revelation, but my current argument is not that bc i think problematic ships are good and valid BUT we should NOT be pretending they’re not problematic

what do you think alois's favorite curse word is (bonus what's Ciel's)
I think he enjoys using fuck just cause it’s so versatile. A good intensifier and always provokes a reaction. He prob likes calling men cunts behind their backs because it makes Ciel super uncomfortable but Lizzie prob takes a lot of offense cause it’s kinda misogynistic so y’know. He respects that and doesn’t do it as often
Ciel… I think he says shit a lot. He’s more mindful of his language but like. Boy has no manners around people he knows (especially not Sebastian). Alois just has less of a filter and swears hold less weight to him, so he thinks it’s funny to offend nobles. Like… what are they gonna do? He’s just as wealthy as them. I think Vincent and Angelina sweared around the twins but tried to catch it as much as possible (and especially when Rachel was around).

Kuro 195: Summary & Thoughts
Summary:
Story time with Doll™
Her final image? Or the one Undertaker planted?
Circus was fucked without their muderers
Doll is England’s Orphan Kid™
SNAKE IN MOUTH
Snake has Multiple Personality Disorder via Snake Mode™
Finny to Snake: shut the fuck up Snake!
Mmmmm lemon deserts
Doll to Snake: shut the fuck up Snake!
Thoughts:
It was a fairly decent chapter but not a favorite or very enlightening.
This is really putting me on the fence if she really was killed or was taken by Undertaker. Doll being ‘alive’ is near perfect if she were a Bizarre Doll. But if so then why is R!Ciel still struggling?
Tumblr media
Clearly she survived something, or Undertaker fixed her right up and threw her back into the Wild for her to wander.
Doll knows, that O!Ciel killed the Circus troupe, Snake thinks they disappeared.
Tumblr media
Snake doesn’t know that O!Ciel killed the Circus troupe. Doll doesn’t know that Snake still thinks they’re alive. So this really confuses me a bit because if Doll is part of the R!Ciel club and was explained, I guess this would be a good ploy to get back at O!Ciel, but now it makes me wonder how it’ll go when Snake learns the real truth that O!Ciel killed them.
Tumblr media
This whole panel is good, Snakes internal conflict, Doll having a feeling something is up, and Finny literally saying with his eyes for Snake to just shut the fuck up.
Sweets are also a huge key to the boys as it were the Twins favorites. I do think that Lemon flavored things are R!Ciel’s favorite while Chocolate is O!Ciel’s favorite.
Tumblr media
I’m sensing Alice and Wonderland vibes with this scene because of everyone’s panic. The orphanage clearly runs on a strict script, rule set, or control in this so everyone is scrambling to correct any mistakes right away before being off with their heads.
Tumblr media
R!Ciel still has some control over this place and I think too that if one person fucks up, then their blood will be used to keep him alive.
Tumblr media
I wish however that Yana would stop bouncing around the bush and just get on with it. I get she’s a huge writer of the small details that’ll make a big impact later on, like a butterfly effect.
Please feel free to reblog and add on your thoughts!

The corset scene in Black Butler was fanservice. Yana Toboso has made BL/yaoi (some of it shota iirc) manga under other pen names. She puts Sebastian and Ciel in a lot of suggestive positions, because she is also a BL fan and creator.
I don't think SebaCiel will ever be canon, as Black Butler is meant to reach a wider audience, but Yana Toboso knows that bitches love fanservice as much as she does.
Not personally a SebaCiel shipper, haven't kept up with the manga since the twin reveal, but as a thirty-year-old who's seen enough gay subtext and fanservice in anime to know better, buddy, it's fucking fanservice. No matter how uncomfortable that makes you feel, the corset scene and others like it were made with shippers in mind.
If that bothers you, you probably shouldn't be reading the series or interacting with the fandom. I want to know how you've survived this long, actually. You are an enigma.

Wizard Dad AU 101!
it occurred to me recently I should probably explain what's going on here, shouldn't I? this is going to cover approximately where everything is when the manga begins with some extra details here and there! it is, of course, an OC thing, so prepare for mild confusion in case I miss some things (despite there only being a couple OCs to speak of so y'know. I've got one job) but please don't be afraid to ask about anything if you're interested! everything here is subject to change thanks to this AU being very much a work in progress but with a bit of luck I'll remember to update it. now, on with the show!
Tumblr media
basics!
the Wizard Dad AU, a.k.a WDAU, is probably the closest Black Butler can come to a "good end" and that's simply because the Kids™ encounter an adult who cares who won't go evil or like. die
to address the elephant in the room, the demons are around... just strictly forbidden from interacting with the kids. by demons, I mean Sebastian and Hannah, known in this AU as Crow and Bluebell. Claude fucked around and found out what happens when you test a mage.
as you could probably tell, the real Ciel is alive here! as such, he and his twin brother are gonna act a little different from what you would expect from canon! in a lot of feel-good ways but also lots of sad ways, we all know what they went through after all.
Mey-Rin, Bard, Finny, Tanaka, gang's all still here! I'm far enough in the manga to know of all the blue cult and revenge stuff but I haven't actually read it yet... I do tend to spoil myself with wikis though, so I like to think I have a decent grasp on how they all came into the picture, barring Tanaka of course.
I think that's all the basics... onto the boys!
Tumblr media
Casimir Phantomhive
Casimir, the youngest I suppose, Our Ciel! I gave him my own name because I Wanted To. it was almost Renard or Octavius. *shivers.* might give him his eyepatch back idk
he's still the protagonist, he's just sharing that spot with his brothers now! I'll do my best to divvy up the story between them evenly while keeping them all involved but Casi's still going to get his moments to shine, as always.
Casi's the main operator of Funtom and the most aggressive of the two Watchdogs. having his brother cannot quell his need for revenge alone, especially not when Ciel's bloodlust isn't that different... I say "most aggressive" but they're both pretty brutal little buggers - they may not have a demon butler but by God they'll still mess you up and you can't do SHIT because their dad is over their shoulder at all times when they're on the Watchdog clock.
he still tries to keep a lid on the fact he struggled with asthma as a child (and may still) but it's very difficult to keep secrets from your guardian when you have two protective and nosy brothers.
honest to god he WILL kill you if you come near Ciel with a sharp object. Casi doesn't hesitate.
he's all around average with the magic lent to him and his brothers by their father. he has potential, he just needs to mature and "sit with it" for a bit longer.
when he met Alois he honestly didn't expect to feel such familial affection for him, but they share some trauma they found; they may not be as tight knit as Casimir and Ciel, but that's to be expected. Casimir and Alois could easily fool anyone that they had always been brothers.
he took the longest to acclimate to him and Ciel being home and having a new guardian. however, he puts deep trust in the man he was the last to call "father" - he may still be unlearning a lot of Victorian ideals about family and blood but he's comfortable saying they have a solid father-son bond by now.
Tumblr media
Ciel Phantomhive
the real Ciel Phantomhive who managed to dodge the grave thanks to a last minute magical intervention! while he does officially hold the titles "Earl of Phantomhive" and "Queen's Watchdog", he and Casimir split all their work down the middle for the most part, including managing Funtom.
he's probably the most deprogrammed from his Victorian noble upbringing. not to say his father taught him to abide by some variation of "live like you won't see tomorrow", but hey, no matter what time period you're from, if you were to look death in the eye like he did, would it be at all shocking if you developed such a philosophy? that said, he still plays his cards right in front of the other nobles! he saves his more "unsavoury" (by Victorian standards, y'know, like abandoning your manners in the company of others) urges for when he's working as the Watchdog.
he's similarly protective of Casimir as Casi is of him. he may not be a sharpshooter but he's found himself quite gifted with the magic his father lent to them all! basic or not, it's still enough to scar a grown man for life when used right.
I know I said Casimir was the last to call their father "father" but technically it was Ciel. Ciel already thought of their father as such but waited for Casimir to say it first because he didn't want him to think he'd just moved on from their biological parents like that. they did end up talking about it after months of the man's insistence that "communication is key", a little after which Casimir uttered his first "good morning father", which told Ciel he was okay to do the same.
his relationship with his father is similar to Casi's in that he trusts him as much as an ordinary son trusts his loving father, but he finds himself unwilling to rely on him too much because of his upbringing. though, unlike Casimir, he's good at acknowledging when he truly needs help and will allow himself to be looked after when necessary. after all, what good is he to the Queen and his family if he runs himself out of commission? his words, not mine.
oh right and there's no marriage happening. father spooked him and Lizzy out of it with a lesson on the Hapsburgs.
Tumblr media
Alois Trancy
Alois. dear sweet Alois. his separation anxiety with their father is something else. he can usually be found hanging off his arm with big eyes that say "if you hurt me papa will GET you". though he was the last of these three to come into the picture, he's attached to their father at the hip most hours like they had been together his whole life.
he has a monthly budget cap on how much he can give to charity. his father and brothers love him very much, but after the incident where he set a foundation for the next year with a single cheque, they decided it best he be limited. he whines about it sometimes but has seen his generosity spread to his brothers; their father always put a bit aside every month for some charity work anyway, so he's happy either way.
he's awful at like... noble-ing. he has to keep it polite for the sake of his family but he hates it. however, he's allowed to let his true colours fly when dealing with criminals and "undesirables" of london! despite being the most blasé with violence and colourful language, he's also the most merciful. if ever there are children involved in a case, he's usually the first out the door when it comes time to move out.
yes, much to the annoyance of the twins, he more often than not accompanies them on their missions - how couldn't he?! he is looking out for his little brothers and they will like it! if they don't want him watching over them then they would do best to keep themselves out of trouble, but they can't do that, now can they? now stop whining Casimir.
his weapon of choice is a sword, something that has inexplicably made him friends with dear Lizzy! it's a true spectacle watching the two of them practice together. he's no whizz with his magic but he makes good use of it to say it's only meant to bring him to the level of the average mage, power-wise. excessive use tends to tire him out quickly because his body isn't built for it, but who is he to ignore an excuse to have their father pay some special attention to him?
he wasn't in his contract with Claude for very long and doesn't exactly know what happened to him, so he tends to just go with what father said. "he was a demon after all, a sated one at that. he was in no desperate struggle for souls and must have seen no use in chasing yours. for the better, really."
a feature of his bedroom is... I won't call it a nightlight, it's a projection of the night sky on the cover/roof bit of his bed. it's not the brightest thing but it does let him see in what would otherwise be complete darkness. for this reason no one but the people who know that his father's a mage are allowed in his room.
he's in charge of teaching the twins how to just be kids and play and have fun without scrutiny. he was shocked when he found out what a noble upbringing was really like, so he's doing his best to wedge the silver spoons out, little by little... this does occasionally get them all in trouble, but what fun is it if you're not being a bit naughty, hm?
Tumblr media
The Wizard Dad
Tumblr media
the man, the myth, the wizard, this is our Wizard Dad; one Finnegan Haresfoot, a High Nature Mage! you know that trope of someone going back in time and dating some historical figure that they maybe gazed at some portraiture of with some longing intrigue in a museum or something, or perhaps studied as their specialised field of history? that's him except he adopted the historical figure(s) and irreparably screwed up the timeline out of inexplicable paternal instinct. normal gay wizard things.
he about fills in Sebastian's role but also not? like he fills in the blanks where Sebastian's demonic abilities once filled, such as collecting documents or ferrying the boys around by means other than horseback, carriage or boat.
he's running on about 3 hours of sleep and a prayer at all times, please bear with him. he loves his sons very much, more than he ever thought possible for a man who had never desired to have children in his life and with such ferocity that it's... almost concerning. Viscount Druitt will never escape what he did to Casimir and Ciel and Finn takes great pleasure in stopping the clock to slap him in the middle of a function, just to carry on whistling innocently while the Viscount nurses the giant red palm mark on his face, utterly confused as to what just happened.
he's gifted with woodcarving and sculpture and started a figurine business soon after his arrival in the victorian era. his pieces are made from anything from maple and pine to marble and quartz and their price tags are enough to make the average working man gag. they usually only depict a few figures, occasionally in a scene, though he does do the odd private commission for the other nobles because they pay well. he has a few throughout the manor of scenes depicting his sons going about their daily lives - profoundly unremarkable moments to them most of the time but all precious memories to him.
Lizzy's parents aren't very fond of him, specifically Francis. his hair might as well be a bird nest to her, he ended their children's engagement and looks at her like she's the crazy one when it comes up! safe to say neither of them look forward to interacting with each other but Finn maintains a veil of friendliness for the sake of his sons (and for Lizzy, quite frankly). he did take a lot of her criticism to heart towards the start of his time here, after all, he's hardly noble by birth like her or their children, so what better way to learn how to be a proper victorian noble than from a real victorian noble?
she isn't his love interest but he's a bit of a wife guy with Grelle - in his time, Grim Reapers are hardly seen at all! she's a truly rare specimen to him, a beautiful one at that. she may have tried to kill him a few times but that's just water under the bridge to him! his sons are thoroughly fed up with their theatrics when they're let loose together.
on that note, he is married! no, his wife isn't his love interest either and the marriage was very much advantageous, you see Delilah and her girlfriend were getting dangerously close to being found out by Delilah's family, a fact Finn managed to weasel out of her at a party after letting her know as discreetly as possible that he's also a fruit. a few letter exchanges and a visit to her parents to introduce himself and his sons (much to their dismay) later, the church bells rang and Delilah moved into the Phantomhive Manor, safe to continue her relationship in secret. she's not "mother" to the boys, she's more of a cool lesbian aunt who happens to live with them, you feel? she and Finn are excellent at fooling the rest of high society into thinking they're actually in love because of how close they are, they're glad to have found each other in the hell that is victorian high society.
Tumblr media
Finn is a man of weak will but great power. he cannot tell his sons "no" if they want some sweets but he can and will turn you inside out if you say something wrong in front of him, especially if it's about his boys.
he is trans AND autistic
finally, he ended up in the victorian era purely by accident, but if he could go back and do it again... he would. he's no ideal parent by the standards of the time, nor will he ever be a perfect dad, but he does his best for his boys and makes a good effort to keep them safe from what perils he can. be it an injury (big or small), struggles with documents or just a nightmare, they all know they can go to him when they need him and he'll be there for them, no matter what they need. there's a lot of love and laughs in the Phantomhive Manor in this AU.
Tumblr media
WOOOOO THAT GOT LONG!!! thank you so much for reading that behemoth and reaching the end! uhhhh closing thoughts: I love my sons and though they will face many trials and tribulations they now have a dad. he's really bad at not adopting every disenfranchised child he meets but shh shhh... I'd say Book of Circus is probably one of if not the most important arc in this one? idk maybe I'm biased because the kids get a sister and a second dad (they just won't know it until it descends upon them). I have listened to Whisper by Burn The Ballroom too many times because of this AU. what started as a coping and comfort thing for me has evolved into like. an actual Thing good heavens. originally there was a lot more backstory in this but I've decided to save it for a separate post because it's just long. but anyway, I hope you enjoy my silly little AU and have a nice day <3

You've heard of dadbastian (and mombastian). Now get ready for...
Literal dadbastian. I haven't seen the anime, but I've seen a lot of posts about it, and I know that Sebastian fucks a nun who later shows up very pregnant and that Ciel becomes a demon at the end of season 2 somehow.
Well what if Ciel finds out about it and demands that Sebastian take responsibility and raise his own spawn?
I mean they can't just leave half-demons running around causing havoc so Sebastian better take over caring for them. I'm imagining it's a girl-boy set of twins because I think there are triplet demons in the anime, so I'm saying demons are prone to multiples in anime canon. (Also I couldn't decide if a boy or a girl would be better so why not both.)
Sebastian would drop at least 5 respect levels in the eyes of the other servants for siring bastards (I don't think servants were even allowed to marry without their master's approval back then?) and Mey Rin is devastated and her crush on him is killed forever, but they all grow fond of the kids. And the kids are clearly Sebastian's, they look just like him. Only Bard is the one who ever notices that they seem to to developing abnormally fast, they are talking and running around already? Of course Lizzie loves dressing them up and thinks they are the cutest things ever. Lady Midford takes them as another example of Sebastian's disgrace but she doesn't blame the kids for it at all, it's not their fault, and she has a soft spot for them as well, despite still loathing their father.
They are little terrors and are often found clinging to Sebastian's coattails or biting him. They love Ciel and think he's their "big brother" and cling all over him too, and no matter how many times they're told to call him "young master" it just doesn't get through to them, like he's a demon and they're (half) demons so he must be their big brother? They once asked if him being their big brother meant Sebastian was Ciel's papa too and while Sebastian thought it was funny it did not go over well with Ciel. Ciel acts fed up with them most of the time and is always telling Sebastian "control your children!" when they're clinging to the earl or biting him but he's actually fiercely protective of them. Even after they grow up they still look at eternally 13 Ciel as their big brother, which leads to hilarious situations, like Ciel warning boys away from his "little" sister who appears older than him.
Soma and Agni love them as well and Soma is always trying to get them to call him big bro but they just won't, and Agni is shocked when he first sees them because why would Sebastian do something so unbecoming of a servant as sire bastards? He quickly says that children are a blessing from Shiva or whoever and that parenting is a sacred duty and Ciel is always quietly smirking to himself when Agni goes on about how children are innocent and what little angels they are. They love Agni and call him uncle because in their minds he's an honorary demon as well, and this just makes Soma upset becae he really wants them to call him big bro.
Even long after the humans have passed on the four stay together as a unit, and even though the twins are adults Sebastian and Ciel still treat them like teenagers, saying stuff like don't be back too late, or are you really wearing that, or who are you going to be with, do I know them? And just being silly and overprotective. If Sebastian tells them no they go to Ciel because he may act abrasive but he really can't deny them, which has led to arguments and weeks of glaring demon silence between the two.

Fucked AU about Hetalia
So… Idk, this will be my first oficial post. And I just want to talk about the fucked up AU of humans Uk brothers + Sealand that I actually made for a WhatsApp chat roll with my friends…
A little bit of context: a few months ago, I made a chat about a hetalia in the Victorian era with humans Au, so in the chat I was Iggy and Peter. In short, it was about the aristocracy, there was drama, ball dances and those things; so I made a whole story to the UK brothers + Sealand you know, background, parents, I gave them names (you'll see what I'm talking about when I explain the Au) and the whole thing.
Once I gave you the context of the reason for this disease that I'm going to tell you, now I will start.
It all starts with the first cousins lord Aidan Florence Kirkland and lady Rosemary Kirkland, the great-grandparents of those with thick eyebrows. Well, simply and simply, their parents arranged marriage for them (like Ciel and Lizzie from Kurojitsuji). They got married, their only child is Abraham, Abraham married Clementine, the children of them are Diana, the older one and Adam. Diana falls in love with Mr. Murray, they get married and their son is Sean Darren Murray (Irland). Adam married lady Charlotte and their children are Alistair Guillaume Duncan Kirkland (Scotland), Liam Chandler Flynn Kirkland (Northern Ireland), Idwall Étienne Dylan Kirkland (Wales), Arthur Philippe Conor Kirkland (England), Peter Alexandre Lyon Kirkland (Sealand). So, Alistair is the older one, then Liam, who is one year younger than Alistair, but one year older than the twins, Wales and Arthur, they are three years older than Peter.
Being that the thick eyebrows are sons of Adam, the Duke of Richmond (yes I already know that title existed, but what did you expect, I'm so silly to invent a noble title).
And well, and the grandparent sends Arthur to organise a lavish ball dance for Peter's 18th birthday (Peter is his favourite grandson since he inherited his father's blue eyes and has much vigour, remember that in a chapter of hetalia they mentioned that Sealand was made of steel). And that’s it, the rest of the role was the ball dance with the other characters of hetalia, ah, yes Adam is gay, his father forced him to marry Lady Charlotte and the UK brothers inherited Charlotte's green eyes.
I have more headcanons about the Kirkland family, about how I developed them in the Au, also as to create the personality of my Peter I base on the personality that Dorian Gray had at the beginning of the novel, I also have stories from the other characters like Francis, but I think it has been enough to read this thing for you... I have to finish a chemistry project and I writing this sin with two hours of sleep.
After this I won't go back to the internet after a month,
Adieu, little biscuits 🍪

AZURE DO YOU THINK DOLL IS GOING TO REMEMBER THAT OUR!CIEL SAID HIS NAME WAS ALSO "FINNIAN" ?
Well, jesus christ it would have been nice not to have the new chapter spoiled this way but I'll take anything but hate. ...
...I'm not holding my breath for a huge reveal or 'tell' if I'm right or not, knowing yana that will probably not be shown to the reader until a much more dramatic reveal, but it's possible something could be said at some point during their stay to indicate as such. This is all me just speculating, but. Especially now that word is getting around that there are twins to begin with, it's unclear how much Doll is aware of concerning the twins and their history, and if they know what Our!Ciel's birthname was, and if they even care about all that. It's easy to imagine.... Doll is going to tell Snake everything, Finny is going to be at an incredible disadvantage and freak out because he, Bard, And 'Rin helped kill Snakes friends, and he can't really refute that. He's too honest... I have no doubt Finny will still defend Our!Ciel and bring up all the kind things he did for him and say he didn't have much of a choice, because the circus members were there specifically to kill them and Elizabeth. But Our!Ciel spared Snake (in Finny's mind) because he knew he meant no harm or something along those lines... Doll will have to square with the fact internally, that in order to keep their 'family' as long as they did, they had to kidnap innocent kids and gift-wrap them to an actual pedophile, so I'd hope they'd at least understand that what Finny did, was not that different in the sense Doll was just trying to protect their family, even if the things they did were monstrous, they felt they had no choice. It was those kids, or them. Finny was just trying to protect his family, his home. But it's curious to see how Doll's mindset could have evolved since then, because it seems now they likely are now in a new family... and how much control they have over themselves, to begin with is questionable... ...And Snake is going to have to make a very hard choice, and decide what he wants to do from here, and where 'home' really is. But in the end, a lot of people lied to him. I'd be mad. It's within his right to say fuck all of you, it's just me and all my snake-friends from now on and struggle to pick a side right away. Finny has a tendency to bring up his name a lot in the recent and how much it means to him, if Doll felt like they could "ruin" that or corrupt it in some way to try to convince him to turn coat, could tell him that the only reason why he and Snake were spared wasn't because Our!Ciel was a genuinely kind person, but because he saw that they could both be useful to him, that might be interesting. Making his name feel less special might do it. But again, I am not sure. I've been both looking forward to Snake and Finny's chapters in particular, and agonizing over them, for a very long time.

Mera! what was the anime that you watch back when you were still new in anime for only the characters, but when you decided to re watch it the story was actually fucked up 💀 mine was diabolik lovers (13 year old me was obsessed with shu 😭) brother conflict (...... i dont have comments in this) amnesia (the part where the dude lock the girl in the cage 💀) and danganronpa
Looking back on it now, little Mera watched all sorts of dark anime. ^^;;; I’ll put it under a cut because of potential spoilers for some of the anime discussed.
I also watched Diabolik Lovers (Kanato was my favorite) and Danganronpa. I remember feeling so depressed after what happened to Sakura. She was one of my favorite characters. I loved her friendship with Aoi. T_T I attempted to watch Brother’s Conflict, but I couldn’t get past the first episode because there were so many characters to keep up with.
I watched Watamote, which was dark in its own way. I felt terribly for Tomoko and how hard she tried to fit in. I remember feeling very satisfied with the ending, but it’s been so long since I’ve last seen it. I’ll have to watch it again to better appreciate the series and relive the nostalgia of watching it for the first time.
In my early teenage years, I watched Netflix’s Devilman Crybaby when it first came out. To this day, it’s one of my favorite anime. I rewatch it every year and each time it gives me pain, but it’s just so good.
Tumblr media
This image is forever engraved in my mind. They really had me in the first half until I saw Akira’s lips were getting progressively dry. I also watched Japan Sinks in 2020 and that was another wave of pain and sadness. I’ve been meaning to rewatch it!
Black Butler was also really dark. Ciel makes a pact with a demon after being held captive by a cult (if I remember correctly) and he’s essentially a young boy trying to navigate adult society. Alois’s backstory was also really sad and dark. It seems no one can be happy in Black Butler. I haven’t caught up with the manga, but apparently Ciel has a twin!
Panty & Stocking wasn’t dark, but it was very explicit and it was an anime I had watched when I was first getting into anime. I probably shouldn’t have watched it at my age, but I thought the two main characters had really pretty designs and the art style was unique. Luckily, most of the sexual jokes went over my head. I just thought the premise of angels fighting demons and ghosts after getting kicked out of heaven was interesting lol.
There are probably other anime I haven’t mentioned yet, but those were a few I remembered. Amnesia has been on my to-watch list for years now. Maybe I should finally watch it soon?

Please tell me all the silly details about esma and suley and everyone which will never be relevant
fuck yeah let's talk about my funny guys.
esma and company
esma did choir for a few years! she fucking hated it
esma has a twin brother and an older sister who works overseas. esma's family situation is pretty messy but in simple terms, she's close to her brother (and they had an overlapping friend-group back home) but her sister was pretty cold towards the rest of the family and thus to her as well
gabriel has an older sister who's also in beast control. she's very busy but she loves her younger sibling
lian and ciel aren't easily scared by horror genre media. they just kind of break down the artistry that goes into it #powercouple
gabriel listens to the other-world equivalent to 20 minute long post-rock/experimental rock pieces and taints everyone w their horrible choices in music
esma probably unironically enjoyed eminem for a while
lian and ciel (+ another guy i've not named) are in a band. it's not a popular one but it's fun to watch
nellie station (<- once i name half these bastards i'll come back and be extremely powerful)
i think darcy would play cricket or footy or some like, generically aussie sport like that. he'd probably have a mean kick.
darcy and suley are both pretty academically smart, suleyman being probably better at getting grades but darcy probably having better work ethic
mira's family has had a long history of having bright-eye kids and that's why mira is probably the most well-adjusted bright-eye in the story
this is literally something that's relevant but i'm gonna fucking talk about it anyhow. suleyman and darcy share a sense of entitlement and both have strong ambitions. suley wants to make a name for himself in the most absolute way possible while darcy absolutely detests the idea of not being known. they both initially reject the idea of understanding those around them at all, they both get pissed off when their shaky goals/morality is questioned, and it's only by sheer force of "what the fuck is wrong with this guy" that they even befriend each other. i have a lot to think about with this specific subject but it's driving me crazy so you WILL hear more

on the other side of the coin, oops, I’m still thinking about Sebastian having to stay with Ciel and his family for the rest of his little hellion life
and taking care of Ciel’s twin daughters
he’s got one of the girls in, like, one of those baby carriers that you strap to your chest, her little legs going, and he’s got the other one in a carrier or just in his arms
and suddenly the big bad demon isn’t perfect at something BECAUSE BOTH GIRLS ARE SCREAMING THEIR TINY LUNGS OUT AND HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY WANT FROM HIM
sure he gets better at it and eventually when Ciel comes home and is ready for hugs the two girls are like “NO DADDY, WE WANT SEBASTIAN! WE WANT SEBASTIAN!!” and Ciel briefly considers simply handing over his soul to get Sebastian out of his fucking life so his daughters don’t like the butler more than they like him
but it’s just hilarious to me that there is one thing Sebastian isn’t effortlessly flawless at: child care

Black Butler - Yana Toboso Volume 24 - Chapter 191: “AAAAAAHHHH!!!” a commentary.
-Hmm, idk man, Blavat reminds me of the Undertaker.
-What is happening! A second idol group of our very own?!
-Edward’s surprisingly good at being an idol, huh?
-Whoa, Soma just leveled up fifty times over.
-The panel of Agni and Soma when Agni locks him in the room to keep him safe, shut up.
-Rip, Agni. Unfortunately, I had accidentally seen a spoiler of this moment and this moment only, so I’m missing the shock factor.
-Sebastian holding Agni though, shut upppp.
-What?! What is in the picture?! Sebastian lying about what?!
-Finny senses it! Finny senses there’s something off! But how is somebody being Ciel?
-If you say Ciel has a twin, I might get enraged.
-Are you kidding me. Twins. Twins?!
-Ciel has adopted TwinCiel’s memories. Right. Fine. I feel like I’m standing in the middle of a room that’s on fire.
-Wait wait, is the Blue Star TwinCiel?
-Ngl, this pairs nicely with Ciel’s fright crisis in witchville. Still though… twins? It just feels a little too… random, after all this time? Too “IT WAS THE EVIL TWIN ALL ALONG!” Literally everyone knew the Phantomhives, and not ONE person has ever mentioned a twin? Plot conveniences I guess.
-I assume Lizzie isn’t coming back because she knows she was with the wrong Ciel?
-NICE ART, Sebastian’s demon form looks horrific!
-That’s actually good motivation for Ciel to become Ciel, ngl.
-Ciel: *is literally an impostor*. Me: I actually like him even more now. It’s the depth of character, y’all!
-TwinCiel was literally sacrificed body and soul, why is he here
-I have to say, the art of the contract story is no joke, man, it’s topnotch.
-Ciel’s purported intelligence and strategy actually in action, I’m liking it.
-Oh Ciel, baby, what other contractee, you’re a full-time job.
-TwinCiel gives me creepy vibes, I’m kinda scared of him.
-The hell is Undertaker doing now?!?!
-My biggest thing rn is how the estate fam will react. I’m really looking forward to that, ‘cause I really really want them to be on Ciel’s side.
-I’m not vibing with the revelation of a twin brother in itself, but I’m very much okay with the repercussions and the events surrounding it.
-Ngl, this is pretty addicting. I’m like, ‘Then what? And then what?’
-Yes, Finny, that’s my boy.
-Lizzie’s POV never disappoints.
-Yesss, the estate fam doesn’t disappoint!
-The estate fam picking up Sebastian and Ciel, ugh, I cry.
-Is it Lau. Is it fucking Lau, these shoes are Lau, I-
-Yay, go, Ciel, go! Trash it all! Crush them!
-Soma’s down a dark path, ugh, the characterizations in this arc, I love them.
-Honestly, the best art, the best consequences, the best character development, the best so many things - all stemming from a premise that I don’t vibe with. Fascinating.
-Although ngl, I’d like to see a bit more of TwinCiel’s POV? Like, yes, he enjoys the rivalry, but why? What changed? Why does that once caring brother orchestrate Ciel’s arrest? Tell me more.
-Yes, TwinCiel, turns out it took quite a while to cure death, you see, grumble grumble.
-Aunt Francis doesn’t look convinced.
-Ooh! Oooohhh who’s Polaris then?
-Man, these backstories are INTENSE. I legit have to take breaks.
-I’m caught up! I can’t believe it, I’m all caught up! Ha!
-... … … Now what O_O.
