Creating Connections with Community Pages
Tumblr media
As brokers and agents, we are all tied to our communities and there are so many great ways to get involved too. Some of you reading this today volunteer at shelters, support boys-and-girls clubs, are part of a Rotary Group or community lodge, or maybe you care for aging pets or are a member of a local activity group. These are all great things you can do in person that build your presence within the community and expand your sphere of contacts – and help you feel good too! But how do you illustrate connections to your community to people outside of it, like to someone who is relocating from another part of your state?
One of the things that websites (and social media) do for us is expand our presence and message further than they could ever reach without them – and today I want to focus on how you can demonstrate community connections in a way that isn’t just about you, but that gives your website visitor something of value too.
The Evolution of the Community Page
Since my company has been building real estate websites for nearly two decades, I have seen a lot of changes. Back in the early aughts (2003/2004) a community page was, at its best, a brief gazetteer. A paragraph or two, half-a-dozen photos maybe. Ambitious agents would include some market stats, but there wasn’t any automation to keep them current, so they quickly became dated and for many agents it was just too much to maintain data like that.
As time went on, pages got more interesting. Companies like TrendGraphix would create tools to let agents add self-updating market charts to their websites. Social media like Instagram would emerge and give agents a way to stream current photos from their account. A website with an MLS connection could even show current local listings. It was better, but there was a lot of room for improvement.
Today, thanks to the work of IDX companies, huge data brokering services like Atom Data and Home Junction, local review sites like Yelp, Google Maps, Great Schools, artificial intelligence, and more, community pages are easier than ever to create, maintain, and can provide impressive value to website visitors.
Local Maps
This is crucial. Many people don’t have a great sense of where a place is, so whether you are detailing a county or a local neighborhood, include a map. I love interactive maps that let me zoom-in-and-out. Extra points if that map can show me where local schools, parks, and shopping areas are. This is extremely useful for buyers who want to know where they will be able to make a quick grocery stop, to identify the school their children may attend, determine commuting times and so much more. When we build websites, we always include these features!
Tumblr media
Market Information
No modern community page is complete without up-to-date market information. Buyers and sellers both appreciate this info. It helps you, the real estate agent, start the process of setting expectations even before you have met. It helps potential referring agents from out of the area identify potential neighborhoods (and you) as viable for their moving clients. Information about recent sales, average price, and home ownership rates are a great starting point. If you want to really provide something of value, offer the option of downloading a full market report. Our websites can generate these on demand, which is a great way to capture potential leads from your website, for a quick handout to mail, or to take to a listing presentation.
Tumblr media
Community Description
Of course, every community page should have a description. These days, a short one is just fine since we are going to include a lot more visual info, but if you are talking about a small community then a little more detail can go a long way too. If you use AI to generate your community description, don’t forget to fact check it! We like to include some statistics in our community descriptions, but you have to be careful that they don’t go stale. To keep ours fresh, we use the same data sources that automatically update our market information.
Tumblr media
Schools
For well over a decade, we have been able to include school information with websites and without undue effort. Great Schools has made this easy, whether you go-it-alone or have a professional build your website. It’s just as relevant as it has ever been and every great community page should have it.
Tumblr media
Demographics
Buyers want to know if a community is the right fit for them. Sellers are curious how their community has changed. For you, the agent, having a reliable source of demographics makes for endless, easy content for sharing online, and adds something to your website that most other agents just don’t have at all.
Tumblr media
Local Businesses
Beyond supporting local businesses, which can often use all the help they can get, showcasing local stores and services really integrates you into the community. Locals love seeing their favorite spots featured. Potential clients from further away can get a taste of what is available in your area and maybe even try something out on a visit. We connect our client’s real estate websites to Yelp’s services to showcase popular dining, bars and coffee shops, shopping centers, gyms and self-care, and pet care services.
Tumblr media
Other Details
Slideshows or connecting an Instagram stream of local photos have huge visual value. Including a connection to your MLS where visitors can browse inventory is a must – yes, it’s not what brought them to your website, but they will stay longer and search engines love it too. It’s also important to have lots of opportunities for people to connect with you. Season your community page with these opportunities so that as your visitors look around it is easy for them to reach you with a question. If you are blogging about your area, include a section on your community page of recent blog posts. I would put blogs towards the bottom to give visitors something easy to move on to after they have engaged with your community info.
Closing Thoughts
If you have been reading through this and thinking, "I have no idea how I would even start to add some of these ideas," then stop thinking and take action by giving us a call, emailing us at [email protected] or by visiting us online and scheduling a free consult. For examples of actual community pages, try here, here, or here. Your community pages are a powerful, critical part of connecting with new clients online and illustrating your local connections and knowledge.

“Fuck you, Alex,” you murmur under your breath before taking a shot of the liquor, the burn of the tequila is a welcome sensation.
Slamming the glass down against the bar top, you give the bartender a tipsy smile of apology when he looks at you in disapproval of your rowdy actions. But can he really blame you? The anger you thought had passed slowly starts bubbling in your core, your hand gripping tight around the glass before letting out a defeated sigh.
Bullshit!
That’s what you call the reasons he gave you that fateful afternoon when you marched into his office, worrying, thinking if he was alright and well but also annoyed for ignoring you the entire five days he was on his business trip.
You couldn’t take it any longer. His silence, too deafening and his disregard becoming too much to handle that you stormed into his office the day after you knew he would be back. You even went as far as missing a day of work, Denise’s nagging ringing in your ears when you called that morning.
Though you can bear her wrath, something you’ve done countless times. But this? Not this. Not with Alex toying with your feelings.
I’m not ready for anything serious yet.
You deserve someone who’ll give you the time and attention you want. And that’s not me. But you can always call me when you feel lonely.
Oh, how you wanted to scream at him and punch away the smug look on his face. To throw the things sitting idly on his desk and cause a ruckus and fully express that you are not one to be played with. To make him regret wasting your time loving him and taking care of him.
But you didn’t.
Instead, you nodded in defeat, much to your chagrin, and bade him goodbye, shoving him as hard as you could when you ran out of his office. You ignored the stares of curiosity his co-workers threw at you, your heels clacking against the marble floor as you rushed through the lobby so that no one would stop and notice the tears running down your face and hear the sound of your heart breaking.
And now, here you are—wallowing in your self-pity, your sadness, and loneliness with tequila being your only friend.
Unshed tears begin welling in your eyes and you mop them away harshly with the back of your hand. You call the attention of the bartender once more, a little loud and more obnoxious than you expected, and order another round of shots.
“What’s a pretty thing like you doin’ alone in a place like this?”
Your back straightens upon hearing the lilt of the man’s voice. Turning your head to the side, your eyes widen in surprise when you see those familiar hazel orbs glinting against the light of the bar mirroring your expression.
You almost don’t recognize him without the flannel he usually wears, replaced by a navy suit jacket hiding the same colored shirt underneath. His salt and pepper hair is tousled back neatly and the scruffy facial hair you’re used to seeing him with is neatly trimmed, accentuation further the cut of his jaw.
“Joel?” you ask with a soft voice. “Wh—”
“Sweetheart—” he grunts, “Jesus—fuck!” he takes a step back, disbelief and embarrassment evident on his face before he turns to you once more, a sigh leaving his lips. “I’m so sorry, sweetheart. I thought you were—wait,” he pauses mid-way, palm pressing flat on the bar when he leans closer. “Why are you crying?”
“I—”
You turn away quickly to face the bar and dab away the tears away you didn’t know escaped, cursing yourself for allowing them to fall in the first place. But you stop moving when you feel a hand gently wrap around your wrist, your eyes looking upward to see Joel with concern looming in his.
“I—I wasn’t,” you say with a chuckle, hoping the display of mirth would mask your lie. “I just had something in my eye and the tequila they serve here is very st—”
“You know that I’ll know if you’re lying to me, sweetheart.” Joel scolds and you pout at his words, knowing full well how much the man knows you. “Who hurt you? Was it that stupid boyfriend of yours?” he growls.
His question makes you blink in surprise. “You know about Alex?”
“Yeah. Your papa told me about him before I moved here.”
“Moved? Here? But this is a long way from Tex—”
“Don’t try to change the subject, sweetheart.” he interrupts, hand moving to cup the side of your face with his thumb reaching over to rub gently underneath your eye. “Now, tell me what happened.”
Releasing a breath of resignation, you turn back to face the bar and grab one of the shot glasses already lined up in front of you.
“He broke up with me,” you admit, tipping your head back as you take a drink and hiss when the liquid burns your throat. “After five days of ignoring my calls and messages, he tells me he isn’t ready to be in a committed relationship and a couple of bullshit nonsense.”
You glance at Joel, waiting for him to chime in or say anything, but he doesn’t. Instead, he keeps his eyes focused on you, the hand once on your cheek now resting on your shoulder and giving it an encouraging squeeze. You continue.
“I loved him, Joel—fuck! I still do.” you cry, the tears flowing freely, though this time, you do nothing to wipe them away. “I just don’t understand why he would do this to me. Why he would ghost me like some stupid teenager and hurt me instead of being honest with me.”
You frown as doubts begin to plague you and your self-esteem slowly crumbles. You never once were the first person people chose, always the last, or if the universe was being kind, at least the second. And meeting Alex, you thought that would change, that for once, someone actually chose you, wanted you.
He was sweet, attentive, and possessed all the qualities anyone would want in a partner. The sex was definitely amazing but that was simply a consolation for you for it was his personality and charm that drew you closer to him. But people always said ‘if it’s too good to be true, it probably is’ and what he did and the pain he’s caused you, only proved it to be very accurate.
“Was I not good enough?” A hiccup erupts from your lips and you press the heels of your palms to your eyes when the tears keep going, sobbing silently as sadness completely takes over you. “Was I not worthy enough to be loved? To be honest to?”
“Oh, sweetheart,” Compassion laces Joel’s voice and you keep your head down to avoid him seeing you in such a state when he takes your hands away from your face. You allow him to wipe away the tears, calloused hands cupping your face gently afterward and tipping your head back for your eyes to meet his. “Never think that because you are enough and you are worth it.” he intones, thumbs gently caressing your cheek to put away stray tears.
“You are beautiful, inside and out, and that boy couldn’t see that. Just know that someone is out there and they want you, will do anything to be with you and it will only be a matter of time before they reveal themselves.” His words, sweet and comforting, pierce through your heart for no one has ever told you such things. You want to believe him, you really do, but a small part inside tells you that he simply pities you and is feeding you words you want to hear.
“You’re perfect,” he adds and leans over to press a kiss on your forehead. You sit on your stool, stunned at his display of intimacy and staring up at his warm, caramel gaze when he steps closer. “I hope you can see that.”
Warmth blooms at the base of your neck, crawling up your cheeks and you pull away from Joel’s hold to face the bar instead, feeling shy with the way he’s acting. Still, you’re grateful for his presence, happy to have even bumped into him even if it was a weird coincidence.
“T-Thank you, Joel.” you give him a small, pathetic smile. “Really—it means a lot and I’m happy you’re here.”
“Anything for the best girl I know.” he grins at you and calls on the bartender before leaning against the bar and setting a hand on your thigh. “Tell you what, why don’t we drink and let the alcohol take that heartache of yours away.” You startle when the bartender sets two tumblers of whiskey in front of the two of you and stare at the glass when Joel casually slides it in your direction. “No need to think of the pain but be happy at the fact that loser saved you years of it.”
He lifts his glass to you, a grin etched on his face.
“What do you say?”

✯Malevolent PT. 4✯

summary: Turns out I'm living in a horror film Where I'm both the killer and the final girl. So who, who are you?
In the small town of Somerville Massachusetts, a bloodbath is brewing, and Y/N Lyoncourt is in the middle of it.
games played with cell phones, gruesome murders, and scary movies
how will she survive?
warning: swearing, stalking, death, murder, attempted murder. read at your own risk.
✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯✯
The bullpen of Somerville police station is hopping. Multiple officers and detectives running around, files being thrown on desks and coffee being spilled.
Y/n sits at a lone desk in the corner, a jacket belonging to the sheriff perched over her shoulders. She has a cup of water sitting next to her, untouched.
"Hey kid."
She jumps feeling an arm on her shoulder. She looks up and sees Deputy Holland. "Did you reach my dad?" She questions softly. He gives her a sad smile and shakes his head, "Are you sure it was the Hilton?"
She rubs over her face in exhaustion, "he said it was the one by the airport." Deputy Holland sighs and sits on the desk, looking down at her. "We called and he's not registered." Y/n is perplexed, her dad told her where he would be, he even gave her the phone number along with his room number.
How is he not there?
"Don't worry, we will find him and let him know what's going on."
She sighs and looks around the bullpen, observing the chaos in front of her. Her eyes land on a room blocked by glass. In the room sits Matt along with the Sheriff, and his father.
"What were you doing in her room son?" The Sheriff asks. Matt groans and rubs over his face in irritation. "She's my best friend! I was going to her room like I do any other night! She had a rough day!" His dad sighs, tired of this whole thing. "Sheriff, you know my boys. They wouldn't do anything like that! It's no secret Y/n and my boys are close."
The Sheriff ignores Jimmy's statement and looks back at Matt, "She said she received a phone call, and wording that you use was said. Did you call her?" Matt shakes his head vigorously.
"No! I didn't!"
"Pull the records for Christ's sake!" Jimmy shouts. He can't believe his son is sitting here, being accused of trying to murder his best friend.
"She said you were in her room the previous night as well, with your brother Chris. Is that true?" Jimmy turns to Matt in shock.
"When the hell did you two leave?" Matt rubs over his face and hunches over the table.
"Chris and I watched a movie and we just wanted to get out of the house." The sheriff looks at Matt questioningly. "Did you go to kehalani's hou-THAT'S ENOUGH!" Jimmy's voice booms in the interrogation room. The sheriff sighs and looks back to Matt, "I'm sorry kid, we will have to keep you here overnight."
Tears well in Matt's eyes, "I-I didn't do it." He whispers sadly, voice cracking and all.
Meanwhile, Y/n and Buddy are being escorted out the back by Junior. "Wait here, I'm going to get the car!" He states before jogging off. The two girls don't even catch a moment to themselves, due to Denise walking up, a smirk on her face.
"Hello Y/n."
She glares at Denise, not in the mood for any of her shenanigans. "Some night, are you alright?'' The fake act of empathy is evident in Denise's tone. Y/n and Denise hold each others gaze, both staring hard and cold. "What happ-Can you fuck off?" Buddy jumps in.
"No it's alright Buddy, she's just doing her job. Right Denise?" The older woman smiles fakely, smoothing out her dress shirt. "Yes, that's right."
Junior pulls up in an unmarked police car, a flock of reporters following him. "How's the book Denise?" Y/n asks.
"It will be out later this year! You'll get your copy."
"I'll be looking forward to it," Y/n mutters sarcastically before attempting to walk away.
"Thank your father for me! He gave me the ok to pub-" Denise falls back from the punch Y/n threw.
Y/n and Buddy lay in Buddy's room, Y/n on the floor as Buddy sits cris-crossed. "That shit was funny! 'thank your dad for me' MINK! Bitch flew back! I know that's right." Buddy imitates the altercation animatedly. Y/n chuckles softly, mind still on the fact her dad betrayed her mom.
Buddy settles down in her bed, her head propped up by her hand. She looks at Y/n before muttering something softly, "Do you really think Matt did it?" y/n frowns, her heart aching thinking about the boy in a jail cell.
"He was there Buddy..."
"I knew it was too good to be true, he and Chris are too obsessed with you." Y/n sighs at the words spoken.
Could it really have been Matt? He would never do something like that...right?
A knock on the door pulls her away from her thoughts. It's Mrs. Holland. She has her bonnet on and her pajamas, "somebody is on the phone for you puddin' pop." Y/n stands up and walks out of the room, "is it my dad?" The older lady shrugs before sitting back in the living room, going back to watching her stories.
Y/n picks up the house phone,
"Hello?"
"Hello Y/n."
Her blood runs cold, the voice invading every part of her body.
"FUCK YOU! YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT! YOU'RE A SICK FU-" Buddy and Mrs. Holland rush towards her, trying to figure out what's going on.
"Awww poor Matty boy, sitting in a cell. Tsk tsk tsk"
"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" She's hysterical at this point, scared for Matt and herself.
"Looks like you booked the wrong guy...Again" The voice taunts.
"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" Buddy tries to take the phone but Y/n slaps her hands away, speed walking to the other side of the kitchen table.
"You'll find out soon."
"Junior! Get your lazy ass out here!" Mrs. Holland bangs on the basement door.
"This is going to be fun, just like old times."
With that, the line ends, leaving Y/n in a fit of rage. She throws the phone, screaming profanities left and right. Junior runs into the kitchen, shirt off, pants undone and gun in hand,
"What's wrong?!"
The next morning is oddly bright, the sun shining down as the trees still lay naked.
Buddy and Y/n sit at the kitchen table as Mrs. Holland serves breakfast. Y/n stares at her glass of water, eyes vacant. "You sure you girls don't want to stay home? You had a long night."
"I can't miss today! They are finally putting out the voting ballot and I have to make sure my name is in the box!" Buddy dismisses her mother's concerns. Y/n snaps out of her trance when hearing Buddy's words, "You're really running for scream queen?"
"Duh! They need a black girl up there and it's going to be me!" Y/n says nothing in response, simply taking a sip of her water. Junior rounds the corner, phone in hand. " Matt was released, his phone was clean and I told them about the call you got last night."
She feels like throwing up.
She blamed her best friend when it wasn't him.
Just like the previous day, reporters and news vans line the streets in front of the school. Y/n hops out of the police cruiser, buddy in tow. Microphones and cameras are immediately shoved in her face. Junior is quick to usher them away, threatening them with harassment charges.
As they attempt to walk into the school, Y/n notices a familiar van. Without a word she walks over, "Denise?" The lady turns around and instantly takes a step back.
"I'm not here to fight I just...Do you really believe Thomas is innocent?" Her voice is soft, her eyes downcasted to the leaves beneath her feet. "Does it matter what I think?" Y/n sighs at the question.
"During the trial, you called me a liar and all sorts of names!"
"You falsely identified him that's why." Denise spits back. Y/n finally looks at her, "has his story changed at all?"
"He admitted to being drunk and sleeping with you-She would have never slept with him-She seduced him!" Y/n glares at Denise for what feels like the billionth time in two days.
"He raped her! He raped her then s-slaughtered her! I saw him leave wearing that trenchcoat!"
"Someone else was wearing the coat Y/n!" She falters at those words, knowing there's now a possibility that it could be true. Denise picks up on this and her eyes widen, "You know it's not true! The killings now are related to your mother!"
"Let's step," Buddy says trying to pull Y/n away. The girl quickly follows, not wanting to talk to Denise anymore.
They make it inside the school, maneuvering through the jungle-like hallways. "Everything will be fine, you're at school and saf-" Both girls jump seeing a white mask appear in front of them. Y/n quickly grabs Buddy's hand, squeezing it tightly.
"Safe..." Buddy finishes as the boy runs down the hall screaming. Y/n closes her eyes, taking a deep breath before letting go of Buddy's hand. They make it to Buddy's locker after multiple jumpscares, "I think your mom was right, I should have stayed home." Y/n mutters as she looks around cautiously.
"Ok listen, we are going to meet after every class, right here. That way you will feel safe." Buddy notices Y/n's eyes trained on something. She follows and sees Matt walking down the hallway with Chris, Nick, and Nate.
They approach the two girls, Matt's face solemn as he eyes Y/n. "Can we talk for a se- You know if I was accused of carving up my peers I wouldn't show my face in school." Buddy sneers, pulling Y/n closer to her and away from Matt. "Jeez, go easy on the kid. He didn't do it." Chris states rolling his eyes. Buddy lightly smacks his chest, her hand lingering on his shoulder.
"Y/n please?"
Suddenly a scream is heard from down the hallway and Y/n jumps.
"Why are they doing this?" her hands are shaking slightly. The familiar masks running amuck keeping her on her toes.
"It's like Christmas! What are you-OOF- Jesus what was that for?" Nate asks looking at Chris. "Stop being fucking stupid and use your brains for once alright?" his Boston accent coming out thick. Y/n shakes her head, taking off down the hall from her group of friends. Matt quickly follows her.
Through the sea of people, Matt loses sight of her. He sighs in disappointment as the bell rings, the hallways clearing out. He rounds the corner, trying to get to class when he runs into someone.
Y/n stumbles back, getting ready to cuss the person out, but freezing when she sees Matt. She quickly walks around him but he grabs her arm, pulling her back and pressing her against the lockers. The two stare at each other, the air around them tense.
"You still think it's me?"
She sighs, the salt burning her eyes, "I-I don't but Matt, someone was there to kill me."
"The police said I scared him off, it wasn't me Y/n" his words are firm, leaving no room for discussion. "I know Matt, I know! I got another call when I was at Buddy's." She confesses to him.
"See? It couldn't have been me because you put me in jail!" She flinches at his words, not used to him being mad at her. She feels horrible, "Matt I'm sorry! You have to understand the- the circumstances?" Matt scoffs and rubs his face in frustration. He slams his hand against the locker next to Y/n's head, "For fucks sake Y/n, I'm your best friend! I would never do something like that to you!"
"I-I'm sorry..." She whimpers softly. Matt has never yelled or got in her face like this and she doesn't like it. He looks down at her, his head tilted slightly, no emotion on his face.
"Matt, please! I'm really sorry!"
"Are you?" he questions her.
She nods quickly, attempting to wipe her tears away. "Yes! Matt, you have to beli-Make it up to me then."
"W-What?"
He gets closer to her, his breath fanning over her face, "I said, make it up to me then." His eyes bore into hers, daring her to tell him no.
"How?"
"Kiss me."
His words make her body warm and cold at the same time. The idea is inviting but she's not sure. Something is telling her to say no.
"How is that going to fi- It fixes everything. You kissing me shows that you love and trust me. You love and trust me right?" he cups her face, stroking her cheeks softly.
She knows his words are true, she does love and trust him, with her life. She looks down, "What about Chris?"
Matt smirks knowing what she's talking about. Both boys have tried making moves on her separately, but she turns them down, afraid she will hurt the others' feelings. "He's a big boy, he'll be fine. We talked about it." Her breath hitches at the information.
"You talked about it?"
What does that mean?
He leans closer to her, trapping her between the lockers even more. "Mhm, we always have. Which one of us would finally be the ones to kiss you on those perfect lips-" He brushes his lips against hers briefly
"-Who would get to taste you." She swallows thickly, now nervous as the craving for his lips becomes stronger
She knew it was wrong to have thoughts about two boys at once, especially them being her best friends. What would everyone think? what would her mother think?
But she couldn't help it. She yearned to feel one of the boys' lips on hers.
She nods along to his words, an unsettling grin making its way across Matt's face. She goes in for the kiss but Matt pulls away, "Nuh uh, not yet." He snickers, enjoying the puzzled look on her face.
"You agreed to kiss me, I never said I wanted it right now."
Her brows inch closer together, "but you-" She's cut off by Matt tapping her face quite hard, almost like he was slapping her.
"I'll be kissing you soon, Don't worry pretty girl."
He walks down the hallway, leaving a flustered and confused Y/n against the lockers.

At it's core the argument of "but the Gods have done bad things to the people of the Ruby Vanguard, so maybe they are right!" is very similar to "but your bullies feel lonely sometimes too, that's why they hurt you!"
Yes, maybe, and it is good to think about that, but if the bullies keep punching you (murdering your family and friends), at one point you will punch back (try to stop the bullies from destroying the world).
I feel Orym in particular is done trying to sympathise with the reasoning of the Vanguard members and Ludinus Da'Leth. He has been punched too many times. He literally had to drag Prism - who was covered in acid and was still taking damage - away from a person he trusted and was friends with. Who betrayed him. All in the name of some stupid plan. Bor'Dor could have tried to talk. He could have tried to explain. But no. He threw a bomb of acid on all of them.
As Denise said, I am immune to the Feeling Bad Condition.

Sibling photo!
Tumblr media
W/O the photo frame
Tumblr media
Ik the left arm looks kinda off but hush
Now get ready for a long fucking rant about my listeners
Starting with Dennys! AKA Mariah Rose
(I'll do the others later)
Doing this just so I can keep her backstory from constantly changing or fusing with others
Alright so! :
Mariah is in her early 20s (maybe 23 or 25?)
Freckled ginger supremacy /hj
She has a bit of a stutter when she talks and is kinda insecure about it
Though shy with new people at first, a completely different person when they've known each other for a few months. By that, I mean she goes from a shy, quiet girl to a chaotic, loud menace
Has matching orange highlights with her brother
By the request of her strict mom, she entered university at about 18, dropped out at 21, and went back a few months later and finished her degree at 23
She has an electrical engineering degree that she still hasn't used because finding jobs is kinda hard
A very new employee at denny's
Literally only started working there to spite her mom
Mommy issues
Dad is pretty cool with whatever she does tbh long as she stays safe
Has 2 younger siblings who are twin sisters (Alicia and Amy) and 1 older brother (Henry). They all have a pretty strong bond!
Smoked for a year, quit because her sister Alicia developed asthma
Her other sister Amy wears hearing aids and really likes to draw!
The twins Alicia and Amy are 12 years old
Her brother is in his late 20s, engaged, has a medical degree, and works as a doctor in a hospital
Mariah struggled with her mental health for a few years, which is also why she dropped out before going back when her health improved
Used to wear glasses before getting eye surgery (paid by her dad cuz ain't no way she had enough money for that)
Did soccer in high school before breaking her ankle, leading to a few difficulties with walking for a few years, so she quit. Still kinda has pain in her leg whenever she walks
Occasionally does random arts n crafts with her sister to spend time with them
Also includes doing pranks on her brother
Was very alone and lonely from elementary to middle school, slowly started to get more extroverted in high school
Mariah only had very few friends. She wasn't really bullied or kept out of the group, but more like girlie was too anxious to approach anyone. So, her friends were the ones to initiate friendship first
Gal is so chaotic when she gets more comfortable. omg, comes from having multiple siblings, lol. In later stages of high school, she definitely started getting a bit more of a troublemaker, but not to the point of getting written up or kicked out
Def a people pleaser, girl says yes to almost anything (too nervous to say no cuz she doesn't want to upset anyone) her friends are usually the ones who say no for her
Prefers darker clothing and gets cold pretty fucking easily so she always has a jacket on her. Also has some walking problems due to the soccer accident I mentioned in the rant, so she's almost always sitting (gets a pass from the teachers to stay inside the classroom during recess) and sometime brings a walking stick with her if her leg is really acting up
Denise and Sarah from @piffany666 and @rustycopper4use taught her the ropes when she started working in dennys /hj
And that's all for now! Lemme know if you have any questions about her

Consistency Now Means Opportunity Later
Tumblr media
Welcome to this week’s Zebra Report. This week I want to talk to you about how your business should respond when the market is going through a period of limited turn-over and whether agents’ natural reaction to cutting back on marketing is the right one.
This week a client asked me whether they should continue geographical farming. All of a sudden, their farm over the last six months had gone silent. No responses to any of their mailings. Right now, we are in a market where inventory is low, we have higher interest rates, and the middle of that market has become stuck.
That doesn’t mean that people in that farm area aren’t going to ever move. It just means that this may not be that moment in time. The advice I gave that agent was to stick with it. You have to stay consistent in that farming area.
Every market changes and the moment that we see interest rates change, it is going to open up possibilities for many of those sellers that are now sitting in their homes and unwilling to give up their lower rate mortgages. They are going to have the opportunity to consider more options and you need to be present both before and after that opportunity presents itself.
Tumblr media
Need help developing consistency and staying the course with your monthly mailers? Need a professional and experienced team that takes care of it for you? Try our LeadMagnet program!
Check out our LeadMagnet program or email [email protected] for more info.
The second opportunity had by staying consistent is an opportunity of education for buyers. A lot of buyers and sellers right now are really unsure about where the market is right now – or where it will be in six months.
I think if you go back and listen to some of my previous Zebra Reports, talking specifically about the shortage of inventory that we have caused by lack of building and if you look at housing needs statistics in your state vs housing available you will find that the result is housing prices will continue to go up and continue to be a great investment for buyers.
Your continued monthly outreach is an opportunity to capitalize on market changes, to position yourself as the expert, and to educate clients about what is happening in the market and how they can benefit from it.
The number one thing that agents tend to do when they see the market slowing and has less turn-over is to cut back on marketing, but this is the wrong choice. Agents need to stay the course and stay consistent so that they are planting seeds in advance of better weather.

Daryl's Arrows: Symbolism, Pt. 3 (When the arrows are all gone.)
Part One | Part Two
Tumblr media
In parts one and two of this series, I have gone through Daryl's character evolution during his time with Beth, and in the wake of her absence, via the changing color and quality of his arrows. So far, I've looked at how his arrows have evolved from green/white (Beth arrows) to faded red/white ("inverted" Beth arrows), and when I left off my previous post, he had just had his crossbow stolen by Dwight, leaving him in a major period of limbo and with his faith in the goodness of people and his spiritual connection to Beth and her protective force in his life greatly diminished.
This post was originally supposed to cover much more information; however, there is more to cover here than I realized!! Thank you for your patience.
"The Next World": Eclipse
In 6.10 "The Next World," Daryl is notably without his crossbow. Losing the crossbow for Daryl is a bit like losing a limb. From the audience perspective, we have a hard time envisioning him without it. That said, do keep in mind that in the current moment, Daryl is also WITHOUT his crossbow (in France). I will get to this, but to do that, we need to look at what happens, and what it means when Daryl DOESN'T have his arrows, particularly when they've been taken from him.
Tumblr media
In "The Next World," Daryl's first major episode post-"Always Accountable," we begin to see many important changes in Daryl and, perhaps most significantly, how Daryl will soon serve as a mirror for Rick, who is on a dark course, albeit completely unaware. It's notable that in "The Next World," Daryl and Rick are frequently placed parallel to one another in the shot, re: the shot above, and these below:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These shots communicate a sort of "eclipse." Daryl and Rick are dynamically opposed to one another quite often post-"Coda." Up until now, Daryl has been an attenuating force for Rick, but not anymore. Now, he's right on Rick's level. He holds little trust in strangers and seems disinterested in looking for new people to bring back to ASZ, a direct reversal of his attitude in "Conquer" and "Always Accountable." For us, as we were with him during the events of "Always Accountable," this change may not come as a surprise, but for Rick, who hasn't been out on the road with Daryl for a while, the change is new, and it seems to stop him in his tracks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's funny, and this is excellent characterization, because Rick is perhaps not able to see how he, himself, has changed, until he begins to see the same change manifesting in his lonely and recently distant best friend. Especially as Rick gets closer to consummating his relationship with Michonne, he notices Daryl distancing himself even more completely, and in "The Next World," we can see how he's trying to correct that. He wants Daryl to be how he used to be, and he wants them to be like they were.
"The Next World": Beth Proxies
Daryl's motivations in the episode are mostly on auto-pilot, in terms of how they relate to Rick's. The one thing that does seem to motivate him personally has nothing to do with Rick. It's an errand for Denise.
"The Next World," much like "Still," begins with a quest. Denise asks Daryl if, while he's on his run, he could keep his eye out for a drink: orange soda. The soda is for Tara. Denise becomes flustered when asking Daryl for help, and Daryl plays it down comically. This little moment between them, and how she regards him with embarrassment, and the fact that she asks him specifically, even though she is clearly nervous about it, and how he meets her babbling concern with a kind of casual confusion, communicates the beginning of their little bond, a bond that will prove very meaningful for Daryl in episodes to come, and which provides some small amount of purpose for him that day.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Denise, with whom Daryl shares a special friendship in season 6, serves as our next Beth proxy. The one thing about Denise that is extremely pertinent given Daryl's current circumstances in France is the way in which tptb use characterizing factors to defuse any romantic inclination from the relationship. Denise is a lesbian, in a relationship with Tara. In a similar dynamic, Isabelle, Daryl's Beth proxy in France, is a nun. Both women are unavailable to Daryl and this neuters romantic potential in the eyes of the audience (or, I mean, it's supposed to) and foils the fact that Beth, who was neither a lesbian nor a nun and who was perhaps the most romantically available female on the show at the time, was his first and perhaps only romantic interest of ANY significance. And after she's gone, every single meaningful relationship he has (barring Connie, who I'll talk about later, and who holds other parallels to Beth) is a blond woman with a ponytail. Weird!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Of course, Jesus is another major Beth proxy who shows up in "The Next World." Aside from his name, when we first meet Jesus, he is wearing a face mask, in a moment that will later be echoed by Daryl's jarring encounter with a very blond Leah in "Rendition."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will discuss more on these Beth proxies in the future, but for now, let's finish discussing "The Next World."
"The Next World": Confrontation
In some ways, the title of this episode "The Next World" is indicative of a major change taking place. Dialogue with Jesus implies that they already live in "the next world," ie: they have already descended into unknown territory, they just don't know it. Jesus also serves as the catalyst of much of the plot to come.
In this episode, the main tension between Daryl and Rick, who are constantly paralleled visually with one another, revolves around Daryl's recent, growing indifference toward human life, and Rick's rapid noticing of such and desire to correct it. In this episode, we see some major development with Rick and his sense of self-awareness as he begins to realize that perhaps he hasn't been there for Daryl as much as he should have, and in this, Daryl has begun to slip from his grasp. It's possible Rick has only just now begun to realize how much damage Beth's loss has caused for Daryl, and also how much his actions actually affect those around him, particularly Daryl, his second in command, who codes strongly as his younger brother, and for whom Rick was once arguably a role model.
Just after the climax of the episode, while Rick and Daryl watch their bounty sink to the bottom of the river, Jesus lie unconscious in the grass, and Daryl is prepared to just leave him there for walker bait. But Rick challenges him. Daryl softens somewhat, but ultimately remains unconvinced that he should care.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Later, in the car on the way home, Rick address the issue further in a conversation that is not well discussed. Here, Rick openly acknowledges that Daryl, along with Michonne and Glenn, did attenuate his flippancy toward human life when they first arrived at Alexandria. Now, Rick is trying to do the same thing for Daryl.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The conversation in the car, which is, at first, filmed through the windshield, which is reflective, obscuring some amount of the shot, is greatly oblique, meaning, it's not on the nose. It comes to the point in a way that is indirect and even off-topic. This is a product of Daryl and Rick's communication style, which is surly. It's a beautiful scene, which finishes later on in the episode just as they arrive back at the ASZ. Daryl tells Rick that he thinks what he said before, after what happened with Reg and Pete, that they shouldn't be going out to bring in new people anymore, that he was right. But Rick disagrees now. He says, "No, I was wrong. You were right."
Tumblr media
Ultimately, I believe this scene does make a difference for Daryl, if only because it communicates to him that Rick sees him, that he agrees with him, and that he actually isn't alone, no matter how alone he feels; however, it's unclear at this point if Rick is too late, or if Rick's influence is simply no longer as important to Daryl as it used to be. Remember that Daryl's only moments of intentional motivation in the episode, beyond simply going along for the ride, are related to Denise. Remember, too, that Daryl gave up his search for Rick in "Alone," to be with Beth. This was a clean break, and just because she went away, that doesn't mean the feelings that caused him to make that choice went away. These are the beginnings of Daryl becoming his own man, and the protagonist of his own story, coming out of Rick's shadow and casting his own. Of course, getting there is going to be a long, violent, and lonely road.
In the end, whatever effect this exchange with Rick might impart on Daryl is latent or else it never comes to fruition, because Rick is, unfortunately, and in all of his hubris, about to step into a trap of epic proportion, and Daryl, who is floating without an anchor, and whose loyalty may have been temporarily boosted during this trip, follows him right to it. We can already see how the nature of Daryl's choices has changed since the events of "Always Accountable," and how they are much more pessimistic and lacking in trust in people and the outside world. Daryl is about to undergo an enormous test of faith.
"The Next World": Carl
Something that's super interesting, too, in this episode, is the B story, which involves an undercurrent of familial tension and backstory, revolving around Carl. While out in the woods, Carl and Enid discover Deana's walker, but for reasons that Enid doesn't understand, Carl refuses to kill her. Instead, he lures Deana closer to the walls where her son Spencer waits, so that he can put her to rest. Later in the night, Carl has an argument with Michonne, who saw him out there and misunderstood his intentions. Michonne asks Carl why he didn't just kill Deana, and Carl tells her that he couldn't kill Deana, because it should be someone who loved her to do it. He says that Michonne wouldn't understand, referencing his final moments with Lori. Carl also says that would do it for Michonne, which affects her deeply.
During the entire conversation, Carl is holding Judith in a visual callback to Beth, and I believe that Carl's arc in this episode is informed by the missing 17 days, and the fact that Beth never received a burial, and that most of them believe her walker still to be out there, somewhere. I believe that much of the psychology running through seasons 5 and 6 are related to Beth's loss and the clearly traumatic events of the missing 17 days, which we still have never seen or learned about. This is an important time as well to remember that in this episode, re: main thesis of this post, Daryl does NOT have his crossbow, and he doesn't have it now either, in France. I believe that Daryl is undergoing a similar, albeit more direct, even dramatic test of faith in Daryl Dixon, in which he is once again, a fish out of water, a ship lost at sea.
Tumblr media
I want to point out, too, that immediately after cutting away from Daryl and Rick in the car is this little moment with Carl showing Judith how to find the North Star.
Tumblr media
If you remember from my last post, I discussed Daryl without Beth as a ship without an anchor. Another way to discuss Daryl's current state is to call him a wanderer who has lost sight of the North Star. In this little scene we get a beautiful glimpse at how Carl, the bearer of the "resurrection" music box in "Them" is carrying Beth's torch and lighting the way in her absence. Taking care of Judith, helping people reunite with their loved ones, arguing for what he believes in, even when others disagree. This is important, because later, after Daryl has made the full scope of his descent, it will be Carl's death that brings him back into the light. That is for a future post, but in this episode we can see how Carl's character, along with Beth, informs the character Laurent in the spin-off.
Beth's Knife
I want to point out that even though Daryl doesn't have his crossbow or his arrows during this liminal stretch of season 6, that doesn't mean that he has lost his connection with Beth completely. Daryl continues to carry Beth's knife, given to him by Carol in "Them," on his left hip, all through "The Next World," as well as during the next episode "Knots Untie," which is the episode when they visit Hilltop. He doesn't take it off until the episode "Not Tomorrow Yet," which is the episode in which he and Rick lead a team to ambush the Saviors at the Satellite Station. Though Norman has informed fans casually that Daryl still has it, we have not seen Beth's knife since "Knots Untie." Why does he take it off?
If you'll recall, it's actually Daryl who offers to take out the Saviors at Hilltop, in exchange for food and supplies. He kicks into gear after Jesus tells them about how Negan, in an effort of intimidation, killed a sixteen-year-old boy. Once again: Why do innocent people always have to die? Here, Daryl thinks he sees a way to finally right this wrong. Episodes 6.10-6.14, during which Daryl does not have his crossbow, are filled with seminole choices that Daryl makes, all of which inform the man he will become in seasons 7-9. He keeps making the wrong choices, but as an audience, it's easy to feel mislead, as most of the rest of the characters are right there with him. Even Glenn goes on the Satellite Station mission. This is enough to make it seem like what they're doing is right thing. Of course, it's not, but it communicates the mass psychological damage with which the team is currently coping.
Tumblr media
At this point in the story, after what happened at the prison and the fallout with Beth, they are all desperate to establish a home with food security and safe walls, and they are willing to do almost anything to make that a reality. Maggie's pregnancy, referenced in "Knots Untie," which ends with the group passing around her sonogram in the RV, is also a motivating factor. I also believe that the Saviors are, at this point, a scapegoat, for the enemy they couldn't kill back at the prison, ie: someone they CAN kill as a way of dealing with Beth's senseless loss as well as the losses of Hershel and the prison, and the grisly deaths of Tyreese and Noah that followed almost immediately after. Going after the Saviors is especially meaningful for Daryl, as he is still harboring vengeful feelings toward Dwight, who took his crossbow, and with it, his faith in the goodness of people.
When Daryl takes off Beth's knife in "Not Tomorrow Yet," I believe we can interpret this two ways: First, he takes it off because he doesn't want her memory to be mixed up in deeds he knows for certain would disappoint her. For the same reason, he sometimes wears his hair like a mask, Daryl, well-aware of what's going on, is hiding from her disapproval. Of course, this shows that, even as his actions speak volumes, Daryl has not forgotten about Beth. But he knows he may need to repress her for a while, and this is something we will deal with directly in the season 7 episode "New Best Friends."
Second, Beth’s knife, given to him by Carol in “Them,” is a Browning Hunter knife with a fixed blade and a handle made from the antler of a stag.
Tumblr media
A stag, or a buck, is a male deer, and I would like to now consider the powerful ramifications of this, as, not long after Carol returns this knife to Daryl, he encounters a dead doe, or female deer, in the woods. We have a lone stag (Daryl), and his dead doe (Beth). The fact that Beth carried the stag knife at all is, in my estimation, given Daryl’s visual devastation in this scene, crushingly romantic. The antler provides him with further protection in the wake of his missing crossbow, similar to the symbolic function of his white arrows.
Tumblr media
The knife stays behind to protect him for much of his period without the crossbow in season 6, like a last line of defense; however, when he takes it off, this foreshadows grave trials, which he will have to undergo while greatly exposed to pain and suffering, with no weapons or spiritual protection at all.
I think it’s important that all of Daryl’s weapons have been touched and wielded by Beth at some point. His main knife, which he used in “Still,” her stag knife, and also his crossbow. This is very important as there is not another character for whom this is true, and because it sets her up as his spiritual protector very early on. Further, as a warrior, Daryl’s weapons are greatly important to his functioning in the world, and as I said before, his crossbow is almost like a fifth limb. Beth’s possession of his weapons during their time together communicates her claim or possession over him. This is foiled by his encounter with the Claimers who seem to point out to Daryl that there is nothing in this world worth anything anymore that hasn’t already been claimed.
You will see, too, in my next post, how this period also comes with the absence of not just Beth’s knife and the crossbow, but Daryl’s angel vest as well. All of this inventory is a part of Daryl and his blessed disposition, per Beth’s “Still” prophecy that he’s going to be the Last Man Standing, and which we first see fully examined in “Consumed.” Without it, he struggles, fallen from her grace.
None of these things is stated overtly in the text. All of it is oblique, subtle, and noticeable only to fans who are watching closely. And who watches more closely than TD?
Tumblr media
In my next post, I will discuss Denise's death and the effects of Daryl's incarceration at the Sanctuary. I will also look at what happens when, after finding safe haven at the Kingdom, Daryl is gifted ANOTHER crossbow (pictured above), by Richard, introducing an entirely new era for Daryl's arrows and foiling Daryl's mercenary, ruthless outlook on the coming war.

Note
Denise living with Jude is not only unfair to Jobe but also a little embarrassing for Jude. Some Teammates made fun of him for not being able to make his own bed because Denise does it for him. He turns 21 this year and isn't capable to make his own bed?
i don't think there's anything wrong with his mum living with him, because i can imagine how lonely it would get for him to live on his own in a foreign country
also while we're on this topic, is he ever planning on getting his driver's license?

Pt.1

♡𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕎𝕒𝕪 𝕆𝕦𝕥 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕨𝕤
--------------------------------
I was sitting. I was zoning out. I felt lonely. I just wanted to cry. Why me? What did I do wrong? I already had a friend in this new class... Or so i thought. I thought she would help me make friends. But instead... My old friends (turns out they never considered me as their friend...) have turned their backs on me. I feel lost. I'm wandering around, without a clue, what to do?
Suree i know what the adults would say- Focus on your studies, your social life can come later, when you grow up.
Look, I know my studies are important. But I just can't focus anymore. Everyone has high expectations I can't fulfill. I'm pathetic and a loser. I have no brains, beauty or talent. No friends and zero self esteem. Who would want to be friends with this piece of negativity?
Everyone has fit in... All 5 of them. Why am i an exception? Why do I lose everyone? Everyone has someone. Someone who would pay attention to them, who would talk to them, who would trust them and love them. Everyone has that one bestfriend. But why do I have no one? No one to confide in when I'm hurt. No one to share my joy with.
I wasn't always this... dark. I was quite cheerful. Because I thought I had friends.
Why are friends so important to me? Idk. Why am I so messed up? Idk.
I'm alone. I'm a nerd. I'm a dork. I'm not close to cool and likeable.
I'm happy when others are happy because of me, themselves or someone else. But I'm also bitter. I always manage to get outshined.
And no one would ever care about ny success. No one cares. That's what he said. No one cares about me, he said. My ex-bestfriend, Denise, said.
No one knows I exist. It hurts. I hurt.
"Hellooooo?" someone said, waving their hand infront of me. That broke my dark reverie. It wasn't pleasant at all.
"You okayyy?" that same voice asked.
"H-huh? Oh yeah I-I'm fine. I guess." I replied.
"Scoot over." She said to me. I did as she said. It was Eunchae. She's the most popular girl in my class. Everyone loves talking to her. She's very cool. She has cool interests, she has a confident aura lingering around her. She sings beautifully. It's mesmerizing. To put the cherry on the top, she's a good person. She doesn't put others down nor does she consider herself superior to anyone. She treats everyone with respect. She cares for everyone.
"So," she started, "one word. That's all I have for you. Spill."
I was confused. So confused. "Huh?"
"Don't pretend to be happy. Don't smile when it's fake. Cry when you want. Laugh when you feel like it. Show your emotions, don't hide them."
"You won't get annoyed? You won't think I'm being an attention seeker? You won't think I'm self centered, I'm a-"
"No! Just talk about your feelings. It helps. And I'm here. I'm here for you."
"I- thank you" I smiled. Genuinely. When was the last time I did? Not as a mask, but as myself.
I started talking. I told her everything. But mid way... I heard sniffling. "Eunchae... are you okay? I'm sorry"
"Stupid. Ask yourself that! Why are you saying sorry?! Can I hug you?" she asked. I nodded.
"You're so sweet. I'll be here for you. Always." she said as she hugged me.
"Can we stay like this?" i asked. "of course y/n"

Long distance; JB(final)
Warning: Hello everyone, I finally brought the third and LAST PART of Long Distance. I hope you like it!
Remembering that English is not my first language, so sorry for the mistakes. It's also worth remembering that I'm not a professional author and this is just for fun, so be kind.
Based on November 9th chapter five by Colleen Hoover.
YN POV
I was desolate, bitter, lonely, sad, tired and all the bad adjectives possible. As you can tell, I'm not over Jude and I'm still reeling from the end of our relationship, even after a month.
It took a month of going over all the details of that fateful day before he concluded that I was unhappy with our “distance” relationship. But I wasn't unhappy at all, of course the feeling hurt and I made her cry several times, but it's something I managed to "deal with" and I got over it after he came home and we forgot that such longing ever existed.
All those days were a daily struggle, a lion to win and today I'm better and I can carry out my activities without wanting to do something that ruins my image as an independent woman who values herself. But when I was at my worst, I almost bought a ticket to Dortmund online, I almost called his number drunk and sober, and I even tried calling Denise. However, I have amazing friends who were kind enough to change my number and delete all contact I could have had with Jude, even my personal email. At first I was against it, but I think it was better that way, he must have gotten over me by now and maybe all of this was just an excuse to dump me and find someone hotter than me.
Right now I'm at a club in London listening to a guy named Nicholas whose nature is dubious telling me about a hunt he went on in the highlands. In short, I want to ask the bartender for a very large glass filled with Clorox with a little ice. My friends are with their guys somewhere in this hellhole and I just wanted to get out of this horrible conversation with this guy with sausicha breath. Is it too much to ask?
I turn to the side to try to breathe a little and work up the courage to tell Nicholas to shut up when I hear him speak.
"Who are you and what do you want here, can't you see I'm talking to my girl?"
and the person responds
“Sorry to disturb you, but I'm doing a little field research and I was wondering if you could answer a few questions quickly”
That voice. I would recognize that voice in any hypothesis, even in the very high sound of this ballad. It was HIS voice. The angel sent by Lucifer to make me relapse.
When I turned around, startled, there was Jude looking at me with a cynical smile on his face. My hands are cold, my stomach is crazy and I have a slight urge to want to throw myself into his arms right now.
“Okay, let's go,” replies Nicholas.
"What is your name?" Jude asks
“My name is Nicholas Van Curtsen and this is YN”
“Nice to meet you Nicholas and nice to meet you YN”
Jude speaks as matter-of-factly as ever, looking into my eyes like we never kissed on the lips or had wild sex at his parents' house on Thanksgiving.
“So, are you guys dating?”
“Not yet but I’m working on it”
Nich smiles at me and then looks at Jude with a suspicious look.
“What questions are those? This is too personal”
"Well, I'm studying the probability of soulmates" replies Jude
"Soul mates? Is this school work by any chance? God forbid." Jude raises an eyebrow.
“You don't believe in soulmates?”
Nicholas wraps his arm around me and leans back in his seat.
"Do you really believe that? Are you saying that you met your soul mate?"
Nicholas looks around the room half-jokingly.
“Is she here with you tonight? What is her name? Cinderella?"
My eyes slowly make the journey to Jude's. He's staring at me, and he places his hand on my thigh under the table and strokes it with his fingertips. Okay, I'm getting hot now.
"She's not here with me," says Jude looking into my eyes.
“Actually, I was dating her, but because of my insecurity I was really stupid and I thought she wasn't happy with our relationship and I broke up with her, can you believe that? So I got on a plane and flew from Dortmund, Germany to London just to talk to her.”
Your words are like ice. Beautiful and sharp as a knife. I swallow the A lump in the throat.
“What girl is worth all that just to talk to her?
Nicholas speaks with a laugh on his face
Jude leans back in his chair, but I'm watching his every move.
"Just this one"
He says quietly, to no one in particular. Or maybe his words were just meant for me.
“You know what, Nicholas? You seem like fun, but I decided to come clean before it's too late. I lied, I'm not doing field research. In fact, I came to London looking for someone and I couldn't find her at home and I couldn't even get her on the phone, so I had to take a taxi and go to one of this person's friends and beg her to tell me where she was. and she took pity on me and told me that the love of my life who, by the way, you're sitting next to her, was here at this club. So please accept my sincere apologies, because she's coming home with me tonight. I hope so. “
Jude shoots me a captivating look.
"Please? Otherwise, this speech makes me look like a complete idiot and it won't be good when we tell our grandchildren about it.”
He holds out his hand for me to take and I just take it. I get up and go with Jude leaving Nicholas screaming at the table.
We run out to the parking lot as soon as we get in your car I start.
“Is it serious that you did all that?”
“Yes YN, I have so much to tell you and I'm sorry for being an asshole and breaking up with you. That day I overheard your conversation with your mother and I thought you weren't happy. I was so stupid and rash ,I apologize and if you accept and forgive me I would like to know if you want to come back with me because, I swear, I can't stand being without you. beg your college dean to transfer you to Germany, but I'll do anything to get you back.”
"Yes Yes Yes.! I want you Jude Bellingham, please stop talking and kiss me as soon as I've waited too long for this.”
End!
