Marcel would be seen as family (in the show and by the fans) more had they not continued to write him and rebekah together. i just seen someone on that hellsite argue that now Marcel and Hope weren’t siblings and he never saw her as such when the plot continued to label them as siblings…Marcel acts like a protective older brother to Hope. Why is it yall can never just see Marcel as family.

I get it he’s disowned the Mikaelson’s several times, which is Marcel’s right but most of Marcel’s storyline is about being seen and treated like family.

Guess what I did yesterday!!!!?

I got baby chicks! I have not had chickens since I was 10-14. I'm so absolutely excited!

It's red because of their heat lamp. I'm glad all four made it through the first day. Up front is Astrid. She has some brown on her head. Behind her on the right is Freya, and on the left is Sif.

Sigyn is sitting in her favorite spot—the feeder.

We're all adjusting, but they're eating, drinking, pooping, sleeping, and exploring. I can't believe I'm finally at a point in my chronic health journey where I feel up to pets. God has been very good to me and I'm so thankful.

One of the biggest reasons why Kratos was able to actually defeat the Olympians easier to compared to the Norse pantheon is because they’re not really trained combatants. The Titan war was thousands of years ago, and frankly, besides Ares and Athena they’re probably not training much in traditional combat. Unlike, the Æsir, where they’re constantly sparring and fighting is what they live for. Thor could easily tear them apart.

The Olympians are spoiled and too dependent on their godly powers. They can’t fathom that they could die while the Æsir prepare for it. It would be interesting to see Rome because that society is focused on war, much like Sparta. The Olympians would’ve learned from this. Rome conquered over thirty countries. Even Mercury would probably be formidable, or at least, better trained than Hermes was.

Aphrodite was a war goddess in Sparta but in Rome she is their mother much like Mars is seen as their father. Ares was immature and reckless, Mars is mature and strategic (probably compensating for the lack of Athena/Minerva). Them tag-teaming Kratos and Freya would legit be the hardest fight of Kratos’ life, and he already struggled against a depressed Thor.

I like the aesthetic parallel of both safe havens that house witches being rendered in warm autumnal colors. deep dark reds, rusty oranges, golden yellows and earthy browns with only smatterings of cooler greens or blues. They look different, of course, because they're not of the same realm. But the colors echo one another, and I can't think of any other locations in either game with pallettes quite like these.

Chick update:

They didn't even stir in their sleep when the coffee grinder went off. They're getting comfortable with all the house noises.

When I stuck my hand in the brooder this morning, both Astrid and Freya immediately ran over and let me pet them. Astrid sat under my hand for a bit.

They seem happy now that I've found the right warm, but not too warm, hight for the lamp.

Their chirping now includes a twirling noise that sounds like a bird call. It's so cute.
