In light of Marina Satti being chosen to represent Greece in Eurovision in 2024, maybe a less known fact about her is that the art / polyphonic folk music group Chóres is her creation, she is their founder and creative director.

Satti has also formed a polyphonic a capella band named Fonés, in which she is a performing member, aside from her solo career.

Satti has received distinguished education in music with a scholarship from Berklee College of Music in USA.

The video above is an ethnic song created from traditional Epirote verses, performed by Chóres.

An attempt at conveying a historically accurate rendition of Ancient Greek music based on our knowledge of it. Music by Dimitris Athanasopoulos of the One Man's Noise channel, and arrangement by Farya Faraji.

The music is based on a recording Dimitris made, improvising on reed instruments called aulos in Antiquity. Farya Faraji added the sound of a varvitos lyre, as well as drums and cymbals.

The main melody employs the chromatic genus of Ancient Greek modality. Farya Faraji added to it a drone on the lyre and aulos that repeats the tonic, something very common within horizontal, monophonic/heterophonic traditions like that of Ancient Greece.

IT WAS SO GOOD JULES oh my gosh. spectatuler performance like i knew all the songs by heart already of course, but seeing it with the dancing and the lighting???? whole other experience. the moment i realized they had a moving stage was Such A Moment

the lighting they during Wait For Me was increddddddible. i know what this drove the girlies crazy the first time they saw it now. geniuenly spectacular

the only down side is the strope effects leaving me with a headache ahdjfkgkkhj i was warned
