Since Gl'bgolyb's a horrorterror and not a typical being, I always thought she didn't gain appreciable nutrients from the whales she ate but psychically fed on the suffering, since the Orphaners specifically take lusii and not unattached beasts.
Makes sense to me.

could we perhaps hear your clubs deuce headcanons. he’s my little guy
yessss of course
deuce is like. an interesting character to talk about and headcanon stuff for. he gets treated the most childishly, which I do understand, but I don't fully agree with? He's a grown ass man, he's just full of love and whimsy and silliness, has a forgetful streak and finds joy in everything around him. I think his biggest force that compels him is joy! He does what he wants and doesn't sweat the big stuff OR the little stuff. Which may not be great for like, a heist, but it makes him very happy.
He curses more than you'd assume often as punctuation but rarely at anyone, just for emphasis, and enjoys a bit of physical violence but it's very absent of malice. He's hard to make angry, but easy to excite. He likes engineering and jury-rigging explosives and complex mechanics more than anything, aside from arson and blowing things up, which he likes best. If you punched one of the walls in his room you'd hear a hiss from the loosened gunpowder stuck to it coming off and falling down.
His default expression is often wide eyed with a slight smile, and he gets taken to be naive and silly very often, which gives him an advantage in some ways, because he's very genuine and never lies, but often doesn't share information until it becomes relevant. Sometimes this is an annoyance, if he sees someone forgetting something at the headquarters but doesn't mention it until they're already there and someone asks him if he's seen it- but sometimes it's terrifying and often deadly, as he announces with a smile how much time is left on the unstable explosive wired to the load bearing structures in the basement.
He wears his thoughts and feelings on his sleeve, but tends to emote after the fact, giving things away too late, or only realizing he's unhappy minutes after something's gone wrong, because communication or thinking about his feelings isn't as important as just feeling and acting on them to him, so he can be difficult to talk to especially considering his forgetfulness. If he's actually angry, it'll be obvious, but that's very rare.
I will touch on his horrorterror as well: The Furnace of Soul, the Consuming Engine, the Patron of Rebirth. It's almost a cauldron, a clawfooted massive furnace with a living ecstatic flame within that heats and smokes and steams and calls for the world to be burnt to the ground and brought back from ruin as a beautiful glowing ember, as things are destroyed and fires are lit and buildings fall it gains strength and virve. It recognized the desires in Deuce to not only destroy in grandiose ways but to create and invent, and find newer better ways to break things and new weapons to destroy things differently, and took him as a disciple with the eagerness of a new lighter. His abilities relate primarily to combustion and setting fires with an absence of conbustibles or lighters, from various distances, and often the ability to gently influence technology around him, like stoves, cars, lights, and so on- along with the tendency to diffuse or repurpose explosives used by others for his own gain with ease as though talking to a living thing- very bomb-whisperer.
Deuce is surprisingly good at memorizing things that don't matter though, he can make an explosive chemical on the fly and has them all memorized, has a lot of physics and chemistry rattling around in his head, he can jury rig almost anything to explode given a few minutes. He can usually recite almost all related legal text on arson and explosives on command along with some safety regulations. Facts he can do, a list of stuff that needs doing is harder.
He's usually having a good time. He's not always the quickest on the draw, but he's content with that and loves his friends, and often his enemies. He's not truly naive, he's reasonably experienced in most fields, but approaches everything like it's brand new, the same thing he's done for years is always exciting and fresh to him, and it makes him the positive force of the crew. He likes to make everyone happy, and sometimes even succeeds.
I'll note with mobswitch CD briefly, Cheerful Draftsman, that he's an inventor and designer by trade. He still loves a good explosion, but he leans hard into the imaginary world with no horrorterror to aide him, and makes a lot of Rube Goldberg ass machines. If he could, he'd make a Gundam. He's responsible for Scout's prosthetic hand, which is half imaginary and half real, and has a variety of bizarre features that he's constantly trying to add to. He loves his job, his friends, and making weird handcuff harpoon guns and so on, and comparatively he has the majority of law memorized, specifically in regards to police and what they can and can't do- which comes in handy big time when dealing with the Fuzz's corruption, and he likes nothing more than to use regulations to his advantage and make the Fuzz's lives harder.
I like deuce :]

Iunno if its just me, but after awhile Death seems pretty trivial in Homestuck because of the dream bubbles. Do they exist sole within Homestuck or do they also extend outside into Homestuck^2? Because in the instance they do then can't Jade just do some shenanigan's if she were to eat the recces cup to come back to life? Or in the case Dream Bubbles are for realsies off the table, wouldn't Dirk be able to bring her soul back???
God Tier Judgement and the Bubbles have nothing to do with each other. The Judgement is Final. If you die a Just or Heroic Death, you're dead- That's what Jade was arguing in HS^2, that if she framed the event in a way where she's Heroically taking Calliope out, it would stick.
Other than the Ring of Life, and just being in a different Timeline, or changing it through Retcons, all Death in the Bubbles sticks. They're present in their own way until the Furthest Ring collapses, but ultimately, that's an extension granted by the Horrorterrors as a desperate plea to save them from Lord English.

What do you do if your time player prototyped a horrorterror and your space player went grimdark currently running for my life and I have about 3 days until the Reckoning send help
What do you do if your time player prototyped a horrorterror
You strangle them until they are no longer capable of contributing to the gene pool. Prototyping items associated with the Others is one thing, and you could do that by accident. It's literally impossible to directly prototype an Other directly by accident. It's impossible for time travel to go before Entry or after the end of the session, so I'm assuming it's a post-Entry prototype and all of your Underlings aren't constantly exuding corruption. If they somehow managed to do a post-entry Other-prototype, 1) how 2) kill them harder.
Unless, of course, they did indeed prototype an Other-associated item. Your situation is therefore still really bad, but significantly less dire. Accordingly, you no longer have to kill your Time player, but you should CBT them a lot until they apologize.
and your space player went grimdark
Get your hands on some Angel-associated items. They are corruptive, that is true, but Angel Corruption and Other Corruption are mutually exclusive. If you can zap your Grimdark Space player with sufficient amounts of angelic power, their grimdarkness should go down. Just make sure not to overdo it, lest you make them go Noblebright. In which case you'll have to Grimdarkify them until they're normal.
If you yourself get angelically corrupted, you'll be drawn to the grimdark player and be compelled to battle them. This should hopefully balance both of you out. Treat that as a happy accident if it occurs, and for the love of Skaia please do not try to intentionally corrupt yourself as some sort of godzilla threshold.
and I have about 3 days until the Reckoning
Do everything I just said, but faster. Get your friends to help as well, if able.

Skipper Plumbthroat is suppose to represent Lord English as the Squiddles are the Horrorterrors
But in the music commentary booklet in Alterniabound album, Toby Fox says it's ERIDAN AMPORA who is more like Plumbthroat.
Tumblr media
Catchyegrabber in the Squiddles album, does have Eridan's sea shanty leitmotif. Makes me laugh if not a bit shocked when same Toby Fox had also worked and voiced in Plumbthroat too in the same Catchyegrabber, Plumbthroat Gives Chase, and A Plumbthroat Christmas. Part of me also likes to imagine Jade sang this song to poke fun at Eridan.

So, I've been thinking about fan classpects.
Yes, I know, funny Piss and Shit, Waste and Nick, haha.
I am aware that fixating on this kind of stuff is probably pretty pointless, but regardless, I've been investigating, and I have found myself unable to stop thinking about it, specially after finding this thing.
One obvious problem with that system is that, well... It's kind of redundant? For example, the Soul aspect. That's just Heart. There's no way around it. As well as Death falls under Doom, Stars under Light, Links or Lips under Blood...
But what if what I then tried to understand is not if it makes sense, but instead, how can I make it make sense?
And then I had an idea, what if the classpects had what you could call 2 tiers?
To exemplify, let's try to remember the 'Squiddle Session'. I don't really know how known exactly this thing is, so I'll try to summarize it. Andrew Hussie made an statement talking about how the trolls were apparently created by a session of 48 squiddles, with the 48 dancestors of said squiddles being the horrorterrors. This is not exactly canon, but there are neat coincidences sprinkled here and there that could add weight to the idea. For example, the fact that the trolls had 48 zodiac signs total, according to Karkat.
If said session were to be true, we could either assume one of two things. Either aspects can have duplicates in the same session, or more aspects exist. For the sake of whatever this is, let's roll with the second one.
If a session as large as that one existed, it would be indeed redundant to have a Light player and a Day player running around in the same session, so what if the canon aspects actually worked the same way the Lord and Muse classes work, but at a larger scale? If the Lord and Muse serve to replace any active and passive role if the number of players is too low, the canon aspects might be a conglomeration of smaller aspects, that only pop up if the number of players is too high! Meaning that a large session would not have any canon aspect, but instead a group of aspects that serve as an alternative to each canon aspect.
So, after all of that rambling, I announce that this blog will be officially about fan classpects now.
TL;DR: I like fan classpects and from now on I will not shut up about them.
