My thoughts on all the Mystic messenger characters and their routes :

Ok, last week I finished playing the mystic messenger game. I completed all the routes, DLCs etc. And, OMG, WHAT A RIDE WAS THAT ! . It doesn't have any appealing plot like other otome games, but this game sure did capture my heart,which most of the otome games fail to do so. The fact I could relate to some of the characters, I felt bad for them, concerned, weirded out at times , and so happy when they changed into a happy person because of me. The game deserves all the praise it gets, 10/10 👍

In this post, I will give my rating based on my playthrough for each character, and I will also say who is my true route as well, i.e, the route I fell in love the most, And please remember, these are based on MY opinions alone, please don't come at me, if it doesn't match yours 👀, Feel free to share your opinions about the characters as well & this post is way long beware ~☆

My playthrough order : I followed the recommended playthrough to get a clear picture of the storyline.

Zen 》Yoosung》 Jaehee》 Jumin 》 Seven》 V 》 Ray.

And for your kind information, I never played this game to get a bad ending, i didn't want to hurt those precious fictional characters just for getting one CG 🤐, but I do know what happens

SPOILER FREE!, I will be just giving MY OWN ratings , except for the rika part lol don't worry, ladies.!

Anyways, let's just jump into it ;),

Zen 🤍:

THAT SMIRK THOUGH 😏

His route : 9/10 ( not the best route, but I liked it anyways, as he is my 1st route)

His character: 8/10 ( I don't like narcissism or narcissistic people, I know it was his coping mechanism, but I kind of dislike those type of men, his attitude in Jumin's route, kinda pissed me off apart from that , he is great ! )

Is he my true route ? : NO, I don't like guys who are narcissistic, I understand that that its was his coping mechanism, to make him believe in himself, but still being narcissistic all the time is not ok, I have a bad memory because of those type of guys, moreover, I am not that confident irl 😂 , I mean the MC in Zen's route,will have to say lots of weird ass choices, and the fact that will impress him⁉️, i wouldn't even say those choices irl to anyone . I wouldn't mind being friends with him though. He is definitely the ideal BF material, but he is just isn't for me..Sorry, Zen.😅

Yoosung 💚 :

AWW CUTIE 🥺💕

His route : 9/10 ( apart from the "You are just like Rika", I personally enjoyed his route, the character development was the best at the end 👌)

His character : 9/10 (OMG! He is just so cute, I am not the one to get attracted to the 'younger guy' type, but this guy just changed everything for me, but he needs lots of attention , beware, yandere yoosungs will pop out if u don't care about him enough, and the fact this guy was the only one who was supportive for Jumin's relationship with MC in Jumin's route , showed how much of a cutie he is!, unlike others 😒, he was a bit annoying in V's route, but it is understandable, he deserves to knw the truth about the person who he admires )

Is he my true route ? : Kind of a YES & a NO. Eventhough I enjoyed his route more than Zen, like I said earlier I am not into those 'younger guy' type, he is a guy who loves to be babied and protected by a mature MC , and well...I am not that mature either 😛,in reality, I am a independent person, but when it comes to relationships, i liked to be babied 😏. I personally think he deserves someone better than me, I don't want to ruin his happiness 🥺

Jaehee 🤎 :

A friend in need is a friend indeed, my bae,Jaehee! 😄

Her route : 7/10 ( ok, I am gonna be honest here, I did not enjoy her route, I was happy that she realized her dreams and goes for it, but do we have to ruin a character just for making this route dramatic? Yes, I am talking about Jumin, Do u guys even know, how much I struggled to even start Jumin's route, I was literally scared of him because of his potrayal in this route as that jerk which he was btw,this route actually made me avoid Jumin for sometime.I expected the relationship between Jumin and Jaehee to become a healthy one, but oh well, whatever, & the after ending was just frustrating,all the RFA members just isolated Jumin, seriously, eventhough he did wrong things ,I felt so bad for him, imagine his thoughts at that moment , ugh...Jaehee deserves a better route, I am just not a fan of 'downgrading one character to give more importance to the main one', it's just bad writing)

Her character : 8/10 ( she is an amazing friend, a bit mature one at that. But personally i felt , if she really wanted to pursue her dreams ,she could have resigned, if she is not liking it . She was behaving a bit ignorant at times, especially in Zen's route. She could have communicated with Jumin beforehand about her difficulty in handling the job? I knw it's very difficult to suddenly quit the job, but she has every right to resign,she does have the money to open a coffee shop, thn why?. Don't come at me, and tell me that I hate her just because she is a female character,HELL NO, I like her but still her route made me have mixed feelings. She was being rude at times , I really understood why CHERTIZ did this, to show women can liberate themselves to work for their dreams, but in a professional point of view, I still think the route could have been handled better. Small businesses success isn't as easy to get, and in my point of view it would have been nice to show how MC and Jaehee make it through in her route rather than making Jumin a jerk, because it ruined Jumin at first for not only me but also a number of players ,but oh well,🏃‍♀️, I do like her, she could be a great friend, nothing more that that )

Is she my true route? : NO, I am straight. I see Jaehee as a friend. Some ask a romantic route for her, but I don't mind about that , I was just glad that I could help her to realize her dreams as a FRIEND.

Jumin 💜 :

I don't see a selfish jerk here, I see a soft boi , in a gigantic body, who is just lonely

His route : 10/10 ( Seriously, I did not expect to like his route one bit, I thought I would hate him more, but turns out, I freaking fell in love with the flawed "him" , HECK YEAH! this was the only route where i was being TRUE TO MYSELF, did not refer any guides, understood his loneliness, I could relate to him so bad, I was happy to help him during his vulnerable times 🤧.Zen was annoying ,but I didn't care much about it, because I knw why he was like this. I prefer the good ending, and yes he does propose for marriage to whom he have talked for only 11 days, but I was very sure he will listen to you, if u don't want the marriage immediately )

His character : 9/10 ( He is so cute in his own way,mature, intelligent,awkward and even gets insecure,because he thinks he does not deserve you?! , you deserve better than me ,Jumin 😫, he does get possessive and irrational and that could make others uncomfortable, but for me, I understood that as well, being an empath myself ,as this dude never had a relationship with anyone,he is new into this, I don't mind teaching him new things about the world, about love. His characterization in Jaehee's route was god awful and cheritz did a bad job in it , I think they decided to make him like this, just for DRAMA,Jumin might have a bad way of showing emotions but he is not a soul less demon. I have seen people calling Jumin an abuser, but I didn't see that at all, he was being an idiot and he acknowledges it, every damn time, an abuser doesn't do this at all, and no..I don't think Jumin is dominant daddy material one bit like how the fandom perceives him. This is his first relationship with a woman, I feel he would be sweet, embarrassed loving and a loyal husband material, and I love his "opposed to living together before marriage" thing as well, as my religion follows that too as well )

Is he my true route? : A. BIG. FAT. YES. HE IS JUST MY TYPE, dear lord. I have never seen someone so perfect and also with flaws just like me , this guy made me realize that all along, I just never showed empathy towards others and that's why no one wanted to talk to me irl, I didn't care what people told about me. He seriously made me understand my own flaws and I corrected it, he made me into a better person, big thx , Mr.Jumin . Morever , I was being myself in his route only, I loved all of his calls , he brings up the strangest things just to talk to you, that's just so cute WTH , this man will be so loyal I am sure of it !.I don't really care about his riches, I am just in love with his true self 😫🥺

707 ❤ :

The main man of this game, hmmm....

His route : 7/10 ( ok, I was so hyped to play his route , cuz even before I started to play this game, 707 was so popular, I expected a lot, but it was a meh for me...he did have a VERY HEARTBREAKING PAST , he was suffering from a lot of things, I understand. But the whole route wasn't that gud though...and his secret endings are just painfully depressing and angsty, V's death just broke my heart, I felt so frickin bad for Jumin, how would he even handle those things?.It just destroyed me completely. Moreover I don't find 707's jokes funny at times, his route had good plot, but 707 failed to impress me in his own route)

His character : 7/ 10 ( oh boi,I am scared that I would be slaughtered with hatred for telling this, the fact that he was faking his own personality was very shocking to me, I did not expect that. I despise tsunderes ,and 707 is the literal definition of it, so yeah, It ended up being annoying for me. Even though I was hella depressed like 707 before, I couldn't find him #relatable at all. I don't knw why , but I couldn't see him more than a friend 🚶‍♀️)

Is he my true route? : NOPE. I was not impressed by him at all, don't knw why lol, I tried to like him as he is THE REAL TRUE ROUTE,but it is still not getting into my heart, maybe because I already started to love Jumin, idk. I felt bad for 707, I wouldn't mind helping him as a friend, but as a significant other...NAH....,I am not into these type of guys 🥴,sorry seven...

V 💙 :

I can understand why Jumin and V were best friends...they be looking like DADDY 👀

His route : 8 /10 ( for me, I was happy that V finally understood that he was basically a obsessive simp for Rika, I hated that he blamed himself more, which somehow I agree, I feel like he could have said something to the RFA , yoosung was hella annoying in this route, he spoke as if Rika is an angel or something, which she is not btw, yoosung, she brainwashed saeran and freakin created a cult, and this is not something an angel would do 🥴, V is not just flawed or anything,he doesn't even love himself,and so clings to rika because she was so wonderful in her eyes as an idea .He kept the freakin truth hidden,just because Rika doesn't want to, of course, my baby,yoosung will ask about . V is too emotional,and he was a victim of rika's abuse and manipulation just like Saeran,I liked the plot and though I didn't fall in love with him , I did have a tinsy bit of crush on him, mainly because of his looks, more like a puppy love, the voice acting was on point 👌)

His character : 7/ 10 ( boi could have handled the situation with his crazy GF much better, he actually let Saeran get brainwashed by Rika, he could have done something, and the fact that he liked Rika only as an idea, showed that this guy was in a very toxic relationship, Rika and V are the perfect example of what happens when two people who doesn't love themselves date, and he was clearly the victim of Rika's abuse and manipulation. I also don't think he is an angel either, he has done some wrong things definitely, and the fandom should acknowledge his wrong doings)

Is he my true route? : NO. Though Jumin and V are very similar , I did not like the fact that he simped for his crazy GF out of his obsession alone and though, she was clearly showing red flags earlier, he thinks that the power of love can change her lol . He was so confusing for me to understand. 😂

Ray 💖 :

His route : 10/10 ( The drama , the music, the plot & the voice acting was just fantastic, I was blown away by this route, but that doesn't mean I liked Saeran as a character, the boi needs therapy, not romance lol, sry,and the recovery from his brainwashed state was unrealistic )

His character : 7/10 ( seriously, the voice acting for both the personalities was just mind blowing, he is such a well written character, but his abandonment issues isn't something u should romanticize about, he loved the affection that the MC was giving , but one wrong move, he will change just like that , he confused affection with love. Some are telling that Jumin was abusive, which he is not btw , for me, suit Saeran was super abusive, WTH)

Is he my true route ? : HELL NO. Eventhough he was practically innocent because he was under the influence of that elixir or some kind of a drug and brainwashed by Rika , I would never in my life try to have a romantic relationship with those kind of people. I may like him after he receives proper therapy ,but NO, just No, I can help him as a person, but I wouldn't go for a kiss or something with him. 🙄

Rika 💔:

This scene still gives me goosebumps 🙄

Her character : -infinity / 20 ( she deserves this uwu)

SPOILERS AHEAD!

Ok, hear me out, I hate Rika so much , i know she has been through a lot, i really do.. but it doesn't mean you can emotionally abuse and brainwash Saeran, he would have been a better person,she turned a person who loves ice cream and cloud watching into a self destructive psycho, another story showed how much she is capable of by her words , She manipulated V to not tell RFA that she is gonna start a cult, WHAT THE HELL, V, do you not knw what she is trying to do here 😳 ? But whatever,V was being manipulated by her "playing as a victim" tactics, she also played with Jumin's feelings for her, I was about to throw my hands on her, how dare u do that to my man ??, made yoosung to obsess over her to make him think that she is absolutely a gud person, and left him to ponder over her so called 'passing' , making him unable to move on from her.

And oh god,the backstory did not make me feel bad for her one bit, it only made me understand why she has become like this. Like dude, I understood she had a shitty past, but so did the other members of RFA, but did they all become like a manipulative victim player? Hell no.. they learned from their mistakes and they change, but even when all the members were trying to help her, she denies that she doesn't need a therapy. She deserves a proper mental therapy and a proper jail time. NO EXCUSE FOR THAT, she did the same manipulation and brainwashing for all of her disciples to get them into Mint eye.

But as a character , Rika just rocked it for me , she was so successful in making me and a lot of the fans hate her as an antagonist. Her voice actor was so gud,she had such a good way of speaking manipulative, like God, I understood why all the RFA members were all kind of whipped for her, she is such a master piece as an antagonist. 🚶‍♀️🤫

Vanderwood 💞👀 :

I NEED A VANDERWOOD ROUTE 😫

His character: 10/10 idk, why am I giving a rating for him though? I just love him 😂

Ok, I know he is a side character, but for some reason, I liked him more than 707 lol 👀, I just spoke with him only in one chatroom , but boi , was I whipped for him 😜

707 - 14 / 20 ( 5th, it's not that I hate him or something, it's just that I was neither IMPRESSED by his character nor the route, I don't mind him one bit! )

Rika -Though she doesn't have a route or a gud character she deserves a -infinity/20 ( and no place in my heart 🚶‍♀️)

Overall, this game is the best otome game ! , I actually paid for getting the hourglasses, I mean, I suck at patience, I was so intrigued by the story, but it was seriously worth it !. There are a number of otome games which charge more than this.

Well, hey, if youre willing to write for it im delighted to request it! If you dont already have an idea in mind, how about snapshots of each rfa member with the rfas unofficially/officially adopted child? Or what each would do if they needed to pick them up from school cause they got sick? I kind of love this whole idea so ive already thought up way too many ways to use it haha, but id be happy with literally anything related to the rfa communally raising a kid

I've written some little blurbs for you, nothing long but something just enough to get a taste of what it might be like. I couldn't decide on a specific kid to use so I'm just going to swap between a boy and a girl for whichever it feels right for. 

Yoosung 

"Sungie, do you always get to see so many animals?" 

"Mmm. Yeah, it's part of my studies. If I wanna be a great Vet someday, I have to learn about all kinds of animals and meet them." 

"Really cool! I wouldn't mind if I got to hang out with puppies all day." 

"Well… It's not always like that." 

"Oh, right, there must be kitties and bunnies too!" 

They always chatted like this. 

Yoosung spent the time that he did have free with everybody's favorite son. He was often one of the least busy members of the group but only during the afternoons while the others were working. They would waste a lot of time playing games that he enjoyed or LOLOL, which Yoosung liked. 

They got along really well. Yoosung had taken to him like a big brother, and while he wasn't entirely sure if he was doing it right, he enjoyed the time they spent together. 

He wasn't ever really that close with his big sister, so to have a little buddy to hang out with like this was so different!  

He wasn't the youngest person now, so a lot of the words directed towards him were now thrown to the wayside. It made him feel like he was pretty mature! 

That wasn't always the case, though. 

Video games were an easy way for them to interact and because of that he got a little too invested in them. Of course, just because he was older didn't mean that he always won those games. 

The kid took it ten times more seriously than he ever did and he had to actually try to win what they were on. He never really had that issue before without having many people to play against. But, it was like Seven had been tutoring him on how to destroy others. 

Today was no different. 

"I WIN!" he shrieked as he jumped off of the couch and thrust his hands in the air as Yoosung hung his head in defeat. 

"Looks like you win again," he laughed, though still a little embarrassed. 

Zen

She was a star, a bright shining star. 

All she wanted to do was be the one who made all the sad stuff go away, far, far away from here! It was a dream of hers to be as cool as her family was, and she thought the best way to do that would be to practice for the next party! 

She got the idea from Jaehee, cause she always said that Zen could shine so brightly that it made her feel better. 

So, who else to ask for tips then Zen? 

So, she put on her little show as best as she could for him. 

"You're doing great, keep it up out there, princess!" Zen cheered her on as she spun around in circles and circles on end, pretending to perform for the little crowd of plush toys and Zen.

He clapped as she finished up her little routine a few minutes later, with her arms stretched out wide and little chest heaving from all the little motions. 

Her eyes twinkle with such joy. It was a blessing to see her look so happy and all she ever wanted to hear was that she was getting better at this. 

She puffs out her cheeks when he doesn't say much more, "D'ya like it, Zenny? I can't show everybody else less you think s'good!" 

This little girl was an absolute darling to everybody that she came into contact with and it was no surprise given her parent, who had been the kindest soul ever to walk the face of the planet. She never caused any trouble and all she wanted to do was have a little fun every now and again. 

Zen wasn't all that great with kids, at least, he never felt like he was. He didn't exactly do a perfect job all the time, but he did try his best when he could. 

She had insisted that he sit down and watch her perform this time around. She wanted to show that she could be as dazzling as Zen was, and he would stand to agree that this little girl had a future in talent if she wanted to pursue it. 

Even if she was a little bit pitchy with her own rendition of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. 

Zen let out a little laugh. He pressed his hand against the top of her head and ruffled her hair. "It was very good. You'll blow everybody away at the next party for sure, okay? I need to watch out. You're going to give me a run for my money." 

Jaehee

The little boy clutched at his locks, clearly frustrated with the paper of homework in front of himself. It just wasn't making any sense to him and he really wanted to just give up and quit it. 

He had been trying so hard to do it all on his own so nobody would get worried.  

That hadn't worked because Jaehee caught him looking so dejected in the corner of the café. 

There was no hiding anything from that woman. She just knew when something was wrong and wouldn't let the subject go when she started talking. 

She always got onto him. It wasn't rude or mean though! 

She was just looking out for him, he knew. It didn't change the fact it was a little embarrassing. 

Jaehee looked over his notes and instead of scolding him for the bad marks, she merely hummed and nodded her head. She pointed out some of the troubling areas for him and tapped the spots. 

"So you see, you'll need to do this first before you start doing this part of the question. You're getting ahead of yourself when you're working on these types of problems." 

He stared at the paper for a moment with pursed lips, "...Oh. I guess I didn't think about that." 

"Why don't we try some together and see where it's confusing, okay?" Jaehee smiled. 

He may have felt unsure of himself but he knew that he could trust her judgment at times like this. 

Jumin 

"You look lovely today… I see you and Elizabeth the 3rd are wearing matching bows." 

"Oh, you noticed? I tied them all by myself too!" 

"Did you? That's very crafty of you to do so, princess. Elizabeth seems positively pleasant about it. Why, may I ask, did you do it?" 

"Oh! Elizabeth and I are having a tea party today. We can't have one without looking cute n' stuff. You think my Mommy would like these?" 

"She would. That's her favorite color."

Jumin had never been sure how to act around children. He had never really been a normal child himself, and by the time he figured it out, he was already well grown into an adult. Now, he was really learning how to interact with children. 

This little girl had stolen not only his heart but the hearts of everybody she came into contact with over the past few months.

She was bubbly and sweet, never out of line, she had a penchant for cute toys and little accessories, and she liked to make her own things and play pretend. 

Most importantly, she was the only person in this world who could get CEO Jumin Han to sit in a small chair and pretend to drink tea. 

That's what he was doing right now. 

Elizabeth the 3rd was sitting on her own chair as the girl pretended to pour out some tea into her cup with a smile, "You want some more, Elizabeth? Really? Okay, more tea for the lady!"

Once she set it down she glanced over at Jumin with a big grin, "I'm glad you like it too, I tried really hard. I made some for everybody to wear! I made you a purple one!"

And if anybody thought he wouldn't wear a bow in his hair for this kid, they were wrong. 

Seven

“I did it! I think I put it together, it works, it really works!“

She always looked at the world with stars in her eyes. 

Every new experience was something great to watch happen and it didn’t matter what it was that she was doing or trying out. She always smiled and laughed. It was a great sound, and it had been such a long time since Seven had even heard anything like that. 

This little girl was equal parts smart and sweet. 

If Seven handed her something to work on, she would devour it and figure out what was wrong or what needed to be fixed within a couple of minutes. Seven let her tinker with some of his old robots. Granted, he didn’t give her anything really complex, but still, she learned fast. 

It didn’t always work out, but she never lost her big grin. 

He beamed. “Oh? So you did!  That’s impressive. Good job! Meowy 2.0 here is looking much more lively, huh?” 

She gripped onto the little bot and nodded her head. “Mhm! I wasn’t sure if I was gonna be able to figure it out, but thanks to your help, I got it.”

He couldn’t have been more proud. 

Seven didn’t know what it was like to have many older people in your life care for you like this in a way that was more domestic and typical. He never thought that he would ever have to chance to be around kids like this, but it was something that he always wanted to do. 

She had stolen his heart, though. He would do anything for the kid. 

“That’s right,” Seven nodded. ”You don’t have to do everything alone to figure stuff out. It’s actually better to ask for help when you don’t know what to do next time.” 

She was quiet for a moment and grinned. “...Yeah, about that. I was wondering, how hard would it be to add a flamethrower?” 

Nobody tell the others about that though. 

V

"Does it matter if I make my sky a different color then blue? Why does it always have to be blue? Is it wrong to do something like that? Can it only be blue…? I don't understand." 

"Well, the sky isn't just blue, you know. It can be almost any color you want it to be, it's your drawing to paint so it's your choice what it looks like. Why do you ask?" 

He hung his head, not wanting to look V in the eyes. "... Some kids told me I was stupid and wrong. I guess... I’m just not as good as you thought I was."

V frowned. He got to the boy���s level and pressed his hands against his shoulders, "Hey… that's not true at all. I love your sky, that's why we put it up on the fridge." 

He had really low self-esteem. It wasn’t something that was always remedied by the fact that he had a support system behind him. For some children, it was hard to connect with others in some capacity. 

This boy was always radiant and smiling when he was with the RFA. But, when he was alone or by himself, there were those times when the unease shined through. It wasn’t for a lack of love. Those feelings could affect anyone no matter their life or background. 

V hated to see that. 

“Are you sure?” he asked, quietly. “I would understand if you didn’t.” 

Because he was special, not only to him and the rest of the RFA but to himself as well.

“I’m sure. I would never lie to you. Now, let’s see what we can do about this problem of yours at school, okay?” 

Saeran 

Saeran was always wary of children. 

He always thought of his parents and how badly they had screwed him over as a kid, and his first fear was that he was going to do something as bad as what they did to him to somebody else. That was the last thing that he wanted to do to anyone. 

It wasn’t easy for him to build a bond with MC’s little girl, but he did try every now and again. For some reason, the girl really liked him and stuck to him like glue at every chance that she got. It was kind of hilarious to see somebody so bright and cheery reaching out for somebody as dark looking like him. 

There were times when she would talk somebody’s ear off, but she would never do that to anyone apart from the people in the RFA. She was often quite shy and anxious. With Saeran, though... she was quiet and didn’t often press him for talk and chats. 

She seemed to understand that he really wasn’t much of a guy for chatting, and they both could just hang out without worrying about anything. Today was a little different though. 

He had walked in the room that she was sitting in, and noticed that she was crying. His body stiffened, and he felt rather uncomfortable. He knew that he could have directed somebody else to the situation but at the same time, he didn’t think he could make himself do that. 

He had been in that position too many times as a kid and nobody was there for him. Against the dread in his gut, he sat down next to her and didn’t say anything at first. She was clearly looking over at him. 

“S-Saeran?” 

“...Mmm.” 

“I wasn’t... cryin’... just got dust in my eyes.” 

“You don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want too,” he said, quietly. “I just figured you would feel better if you had some company.“

“...Thank you.”

🥢 This ask was a bit more difficult because of the whole V3 plot and the ending and all that. I thought about it and just decided I'd write this ask as if you were a member of the trials as well.

🥢 Kaito is really uplifting and loves getting along with introverts, and originally gets closer to you due to your shy nature! He likes trying to bring up your mood, and is really supportive of your insecurities. Kaito would even try to pay attention to things you're insecure about so he could come off as encouraging as possible.

🥢 Once you start opening up to him, he’s pleasantly surprised, and really excited that you’re feeling more comfortable around him.

🥢 Both you and Kaito rarely have filters around each other. You speak your minds, and enjoy the honesty you two share. It helps that Kaito basically runs on his moral compass, which is pretty sound and easy to understand and agree with.

🥢 You and Maki would get along well! Instead of her becoming Kaito's love interest, you and Kaito would become one of her very good friends! You're less violent and also an introvert, so there're aspects of you two that are pretty similar and could lead to a pretty solid platonic relationship.

🥢 You two stick together pretty close. Kaito is very attuned to making plans, and tries to understand people and their emotional capabilities as well, trying to take off as much emotional loads as possible. So he'd come up with several ways to hang out with each other, seeming as innocent, but really just a way to keep an eye out for you. He's really scared something will happen to you, but he doesn't want to come off as possessive or stress-inducing.

🥢 He really likes your obsessive nature, because Kaito is the same way! When Kaito likes something he's got it set in stone, even if it's just a small whim, he pursues all his goals and wishes really passionately. So Kaito likes seeing people who are just as passionate as him, and is really supportive of your art and will listen to you rant for hours if you'd like, maybe even debate if you need to.

🥢Kaito wouldn't ask you out. He knows he's dying, he can't put you through the emotional turmoil, it'll crush you. As much as Kaito wants to distance himself, he can't, and he thinks it's selfish of him.

🥢 You have to ask him out. It's scary, but so are the killing games. You never know if one of you will die and you need him to know about your feelings.

🥢 When you tell him I'd imagine your stutter taking over. Your shyness takes over but Kaito understands exactly what you're trying to say. He's torn but on cloud nine at the exact same time.

🥢 The days before Kaito's death you spend cuddling and spending time alone, distancing yourself from the others as much as possible. But he disappears into the bathroom for extended periods of time, sometimes Kaito would even leave you alone in one of your rooms claiming to be getting food but coming back empty-handed and forgetting entirely why he'd left in the first place.

🥢 There's a high level of trust in your relationship, there has to be when you're dating in the middle of a killing trials. So you wouldn't expect him to be a killer, only worrying about his safety.

🥢 Then there’s the whole trial business, and the only person you have left is Maki.

🥢 The Victorian Era was very well known for its artistry, so you'd be able to get by easily as an artist. Especially because you're so critical, I'd imagine it'd make you pickier about what you'd paint, and you'd be able to grow renown pretty easily. Artists that are introverted also create a sense of mystery, so people would become more intrigued.

🥢 Also, I researched career paths for INFJ. I actually found that there are many people with that personality type who run non-profit organizations.

🥢 I got this idea that you'd have an auction for some of your paintings, then give a portion of your earnings to people in need.

🥢 This auction would make you even more well known. So I'd imagine you're a spectacle in the artistry world.

🥢 Because you're so important, it wouldn't be surprising for you to have some pretty high up contacts. That would include Earl Ciel Phantomhive.

🥢 You'd meet Prince Soma at one of Ciel's parties. It's a small get together between others of higher positions, and it's pretty great.

🥢 Except the music's loud, the people there aren't that entertaining, and you don't really want to take to them. You only came to keep up appearances, and you kind of felt like you had to.

🥢You meet Prince Soma and Agni in one of the hallways trying to make it outside for some fresh air. He's really nice, and you two get along very well. After he shows you the doors, the two men stay with you for a bit to talk.

🥢 Prince Soma enjoys being of use to others, and is excited he's able to help you even if it's something as small as showing you the exit. But he's also easily intimidated. So he'd seek comfort in your timid nature, and would try to see past your introverted shell and try to make you more open.

🥢 Once he gets to know you more he's thrilled! Prince Soma loves people with a sense of humour and seems to like yours a lot.

🥢 You two meet more along the streets and stop to talk whenever you see each other. Until you give Soma your address, and tell him he's able to stop by anytime. He takes the invitation up eagerly, and is over almost daily.

🥢 You're surprised he didn't know you were an artist. When he sees several paintings around your larger than average house he's immediately intrigued. And when you tell him of your fundraisers, that's when Soma starts to grow feelings for you.

🥢 Soma really admires you at this point. He'd always seen himself as the mediator of your friendship, a guide. But now he respects you as someone equal.

🥢 As you two start going out more, Soma asks for Agni to accompany him less and less. Then it gets to the point where Soma and you would always spend time with each other alone, usually in the comfort of your home.

🥢 Eventually, Agni has to tell Soma to tell you about his feelings. They're pretty obvious at this point. Soma actually hadn't even realized he'd liked you until it was pointed out. He just really liked being around you.

🥢 I feel like there would be like… a whole system to get into a relationship. Prince Soma was probably the type to be expecting an arranged marriage, maybe even to meet his bride on their wedding day. So I'm not quite sure what traditions would be in place, if this makes sense.

🥢 But anyway! I feel like Soma would be the type who's really excited to get into relationships, so he'd tell you very soon after his realization, if not immediately. He's like a fucking puppy in the best way possible.

🥢 You know exactly what he's trying to say before he even opens his mouth. He asks you in your kitchen as you're making breakfast.

🥢 Being in a relationship with Prince Soma is great. He'd spoil you silly, and Agni would be like a big brother to you. While Prince Soma loves alone time with you, it's important to him that you and Agni get along well. While he wouldn't say it aloud, Soma is always really happy when he sees you two interacting.

🥢 Soma is one for cuddles! He loves to have an excess of pillows and blankets, and builds the best pillow forts.

🥢 You find a lot of your time would be taken up by Soma. He really likes being around you and gets lonely really quickly. While you paint he likes to talk to you, but sometimes gets restless sitting down for too often. He admires you for having the patience to paint for so long.

🥢 He'd be really goofy! Your senses of humour would minimize uncomfy things like getting sick or being sad, and would create the baseline for trust and vulnerability! Basically you two would just be so comfortable around each other and you wouldn't feel like there are any barriers between you two. You'd feel like extensions of yourselves.

🥢 So aside from Zen's obvious immediate flirtatious nature, I feel like he'd become interested in things that you're insecure about! Zen's all for being uplifting and encouraging self-betterment, but feels bad when people are downright self-deprecating. He just wants people to be the best versions of themselves they can be, but things you can't change about yourself are fine just the way they are. They make you unique in Zen's eyes.

🥢 Zen loves your art! Send! Lots! Of! Pics! He's the cheerleader everyone needs honestly. Zen also loves when you talk about art, and admires how passionate you are. He'd even compare your passion for art to his passion for acting. In short, Zen really respects your talent and passion.

🥢 When you start to open up to the chat a bit more Zen is super excited and really supportive!

🥢 I feel like after you start opening up to the chat more is when Zen starts to develop real feelings for you. He'd show this by flirting a little more, but other than that there isn't any indication at first. It's just the same old flirty Zen.

🥢 Zen's always saying how he'd like to meet you in person, so eventually you do! You two send lots of pictures to the messenger, going shopping and to dinner or lunch afterwards. You two have a lot of fun, and later go on more outings together.

🥢  You and Zen go on outings as friends, though. Even Yoosung tags along sometimes, and you three are constantly trying to get Jaehee to come out and have some fun. Seven and Jumin usually decline your requests if acknowledging them at all.

🥢 Zen's feelings grow the more time you two spend together. It's almost unbearable to be so close to you, not being able to hold your hand yet be able to say such sweet things without your suspicion.

🥢 Eventually Zen invites you out for lunch over call, very different from the public planning you two would do on the group chats. But you don't think too much of it because it's Zen, and you've always been closest to him.

🥢 He really wants to make you feel special! But he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable with too much attention. So he takes you to a secluded café that gives off a really homey yet romantic vibe. He asks you out over hot chocolate and cookies, and spoils you rotten that entire day.

🥢 Zen's very clingy but certainly not as clingy as Prince Soma. He loves being around you and cherishes your outings, probably having a huge folder full of aesthetic pictures of you. He'd also definitely screenshot every picture of your art you send and keep it in a folder. He mentions it to you casually one day on a date, showing that your art style has improved pretty well from the first piece you sent to the group chat to the most recent.

🥢 Zen is all for really cheesy and mushy romantic stuff. He texts you a lot throughout the day to tell you that he misses you, is thinking about you, loves you, etc. He's just so sweet and really cares about you and needs you to know.

🥢 Zen loves how shy you are. He finds it cute and endearing, and fondly mentions it many times. You also notice he speaks very softly to you, and his tone is so much different. It's almost as if he's trying to pour every once of love that he can into every syllable.

He’s super excited to see you perform up on stage, the bouquet of roses for you ready on his lap

He’s really focused on the songs and he tries his best to understand what the characters are saying through the lyrics

How come nobody wants to sign your cast?? Yoosung wants to sign your cast so bad!

But then Connor signs your cast and he’s pouting

Waving Through A Window —gets goosebumps when everybody steps up on stage and backs you up

Connor…killed himself?

Oh my God he’s already crying

For Forever —he’s biting his lip because the way you sang about your friendship is beautiful and he’s really touched and sad okay

You can bet he’ll take you out on that perfect day after the musical

Sincerely, Me is waaaay better and he finds himself laughing and even blushing when the guy playing Connor acts out what Jared is typing

If I Could Tell Her —your eyes slide to his in the middle of the song and he’s blushing because he knows you’re thinking of him when you’re singing it

When you kiss Zoe though, he has to remind himself that it’s only a musical ;A;

He knows you only have eyes for him though ❤️

Disappear — why is Connor touching you?? the lyrics are beautiful though and Yoosung finds himself smiling when your character proposes the Connor Project

And then Zoe kisses you and yandere Yoosung comes out

He feels sad when you and Jared fight though; he knows Jared considered you a real friend despite saying you were only “family friends”

And then Evan’s mom is at the Murphy’s and he’s frozen, dreading the scene that about the unfold

Good for You —he’s scared of Mrs Hansen now ;;; and he’s shocked when your character talks back to his mom

Your harmony is so cool though and he can’t tear his eyes away

Words Fail —nooooo Yoosung is crying so hard

He’s biting his lip but the RFA members next to him can hear him sniffling

He will give you a huge hug after the show ;A;

And tbh he’ll probably want a hug too ;A;

So Big/So Small —he misses his mom now

And he’s crying even harder because he sees his mother in Heidi

That no matter how much he screws up, she will be there for him

She only wants the best for him and he promises to call her after the show

He’s still teary-eyed as the show comes to an end but he’s the first on his feet, clapping and cheering for you and wiping his tears away, grinning

He’s so proud of you and he loves the musical so much

Backstage, he will give you the big hug mentioned above, making sure to hold you longer than usual so Zoe and Connor would know you’re his

And he will give you a bouquet with a cute teddy bear, gushing over how good you were that you made him cry a lot

Would probably ask you to sing to him when you guys are home, he loves listening to your voice and he really likes the lyrics of the songs

He makes it a point to call his mom more and makes sure his parents know he loves them

Zen

He’s so excited to see you up on stage

He hasn’t seen or heard anything about the musical yet so he’s really excited to see what’s going to happen

You nail the mannerisms and habits of the character so much that he leans forward in his seat and watches your every move

He’s actually learning from you

Waving Through A Window — he is hooked. You sing so well and with so much emotion

The smooth transition from your natural voice to your falsetto turns him on so much makes him puff out his chest with pride

That’s his MC up there

Sincerely, Me —he’s laughing at how adorable you are and he really hates himself for not auditioning for Connor

“…the only man that I love is my dad!”

That’s not what you were saying last night ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

For Forever —your voice is beautiful and he just wants to listen to it for forever

If I Could Tell Her —he loves this song; you play the part of the guy who’s telling his crush how he feels but not letting her know it’s really him speaking really well

Disappear —yep, he’s so angry at himself for not being Connor

You Will Be Found —he’s so amazed and proud of you; he thought that last line that you sang, so soft and heartfelt after the crescendo of the cast was amazing that he felt shivers go down his spine

Words Fail — His words have failed him. He wants nothing more than to run to you and hold you tight and promise you that everything will be okay. He’s so immersed in your performance and when you start crying —oh man, Zenny’s crying too

So Big/ So Small —Oh man, he’s crying even more because he’s wishing his mom was like Heidi; someone who didn’t resent him for having good looks and being interested in performing

“And I knew there would be moments I’d miss, And I knew there would be space I couldn’t fill, And I knew I’d come up short in a billion different ways, And I did, And I do, And I will.” —these words will stay with him

Because his family thought he was a failure for not “being successful” like his brother and for pursuing something that’s not “normal” or considered a “good job” by his family

And he feels like he let them down somehow but Zen still pursued his dream regardless; he’s not perfect and he knows he’ll disappoint his family one way or another but he also hopes they see what he’s achieved and one day be proud of him instead

He loves the ending though and he’s so proud of you

He’s cheering and whistling and he rushes backstage and pulls you into his arms

“Babe! That was amazing!”

He is your number 1 fan and he makes sure to post a selfie with you right after the show

He really wishes he could have been your Connor but he’ll memorize Connor’s parts nonetheless and will sing it with you at home

You tiptoe to the door and hear him tapping his foot impatiently on the floor

And then you hear his voice

“Hey mom…sorry, I know it’s late. Hm? Oh, yeah, I’m okay. No I just wanted to call and check if everyone’s alright…Yes, I’m fine…Yes, I’m still doing musicals…Oh? He said that?…When are you guys free then? I’ll book you the best seats in the house!”

You go back to bed grinning, happy for your man

Bonus: For your anniversary, he sings his own version of If I Could Tell Her with lyrics meant specifically for you

He’s confused as to why you keep fiddling with the end of your shirt or act all awkward

But then he understands that Evan Hansen has anxiety and he watches with rapt attention at everything you do, making mental notes and learning about your character as much as he could through your actions

Anybody Have A Map? —wow, being a parent must be so hard. Makes a mental note to read up about parenthood because he wishes to have a family with you someday

Waving Through A Window —he’s so focused on you that he doesn’t even hear Saeyoung and Yoosung whispering about how good you are

But he understands how it feels like to be alone and to have no one truly understand you

That is, until you came into his life

For Forever —he vows to give you loads of perfect days to sing about

Of course, he doesn’t wish to just be “buddies” with you

But he doesn’t really approve lying about being friends with that Connor boy when your characters were obviously not friends

Sincerely, Me —creating fake emails about your relationship? He’s not sure supports what your character is doing

But for your sake he tries to be understanding and watches quietly, smiling at the friendship you and Jared seemed to have

If I Could Tell Her —he’s smiling to himself at how goofy and awkward your character is; honestly, he thinks you can be awkward like Evan, especially when he goes sweet on you and you become flustered

You Will Be Found —he truly thinks that what you’re doing for Connor is wonderful but Jumin knows things built on lies don’t last forever

He admires your voice though and he closes his eyes unconsciously sometimes, wanting to focus on your voice, the emotions behind your words

He wants your voice and only your voice filling his mind

To Break in a Glove —his heart melts at the song because it reminds him of his relationship with his father

Jumin really values family and he’s sad that your character doesn’t have a father figure but he’s glad you were given an opportunity to bond with Connor’s dad as though he was your own father

Makes a note to ask Assistant Kang to schedule a dinner with his father

“You do the hard thing ‘cause that’s the right thing.” —he already knows this is a foreshadowing ;;;

He’s afraid of the ending now; he doesn’t want everything to come crashing down on you

Only Us —a romantic song between you and the female lead? Lol he’s just chill because he knows you’re not interested in her romantically

Ah, your mother gets invited to dinner with the Murphy’s…this will not end well ;;;

He winces during Good for You

He doesn’t like family fighting and he feels bad for your character but he also sees things from the mother’s perspective

And then the Murphys find out you had lied to them ;;;

Words Fail —he sucks in his breath and he’s blown away by the raw emotion you’re showing on stage

He’s crying inside

This man loves you so much and he would never do anything to hurt you precisely because he doesn’t want to see you get hurt

But now you’re showing him how you would sound —how you would look with tears streaming down your face as you sing

His heart is breaking

So Big/So Small —he’s smiling now because he’s happy at the mother’s reaction

He’s a firm believer that at the end, your family is the one who will truly support you and love you and accept you; they are the people you can lean on and who will love you unconditionally

He can’t wait until you two start a family together

He’s happy with how the play ends; Zoe forgiving you and you moving on, trying to get to know Connor in your own way

He goes backstage to congratulate your wonderful performance when he sees the actor playing Connor is congratulating you

Big mistake

Jumin strides over to you, bouquet in hand

“MC.”

You turn to him and your eyes go wide when he pulls you to him and kisses you in front of the actor

Lol Jumin please calm down ;;;

Juju she’s into women ;;;

MC he’s not listening hahaha

He finally pulls away and hands you a large bouquet of red roses, lolol they are the same color as your face

“The show was truly beautiful and I’m very proud to have you as my partner, MC.”

He would try his best to watch your shows because he absolutely loves watching you do what you love

Saeyoung

Note: This happens after the whole Mint Eye so Saeran is with him in the audience.

Dear Evan Hansen, huh?

A lot of people have been saying Zen should play Connor on Tripter so Saeyoung has heard about the musical a little

When the curtains open to reveal you sitting on the bed he’s clapping and cheering the loudest

“We’re family friends.” He’s laughing so hard in his seat

It’s a good thing you reserved the balcony for him and the RFA ;;;;

Waving Through a Window —he’s quiet because he can actually relate to the song and your character

He’s a secret agent so he doesn’t have any lasting relationships apart from the RFA, Saeran, Mary Vanderwood the 3rd and of course, you

“When you’re falling in a forest and there’s nobody around. Do you ever really crash, or even make a sound? Did I even make a sound? It’s like I never made a sound. Will I ever make a sound?” —this line really gets to him because he doesn’t “exist” in this world

So if he disappears…will anyone even know?

But he looks at you singing your heart out on the stage and he smiles, glad that you chose to love him

For Forever —uh oh. Did your character just lie? Oh boy, he already knows where this is heading ;;;

He loves the imagery of For Forever though and his eyes slide to Saeran, who’s sitting beside him and he can’t help but wish he could have that perfect day with his brother as well

He cracks up during Sincerely, Me though

Makes a mental note to look for Zoe’s costume so he can wear it at home~

Disappear —Saeran could swear he saw tears in his brother’s eyes but Saeyoung’s gaze never leaves you

And when you turn to him during the song, he bites his lip so hard that he tasted blood, to keep himself from crying

But when the Connor Project is mentioned he clears his throat and hastily wipes away his tears

You Will Be Found —he thinks you sang it perfectly and he’s up on his feet the moment it ends, clapping and cheering

He disappears the moment the lights come on though but Saeran tells the rest of the members not to worry; he has an idea where his brother is and he knows Saeyoung just needs to be alone

He returns just as the lights are dimming for Act II and he’s fine for a while

Until Momma Hansen comes into the picture

Uh-oh

He’s cringing because he knows the consequences of lies and he cringes even more when he sees your character flustering on stage during the dinner with the Murphys and your mom

Good For You —whoa there, Momma Hansen is getting riled up and he’s honestly scared for you ;;;

Words Fail — …oh my God. He’s speechless. He wants to run to you so bad Saeran scrambled to pull him back when he stood up and started climbing the railing

He hates seeing you sad and the sight of you singing there, the anguish laced in your voice —Saeyoung is heartbroken

So Big/So Small —the twins are crying

They’re not even hiding it anymore, their friends know their story

The rest of the members give them a group hug, yes even Jumin, because these boys have been through a lot and they had the roughest childhood with no one to support them —no one was even allowed to know they exist; it’s worse because their mother was the one making them suffer

His eyes are puffy at the Finale but he’s happy that Zoe forgives Evan and he’s screaming your name during the curtain call, clapping loudly

He nervously meets you backstage and you notice his red rimmed eyes and you smile at him

He knows the poster is of you in a cast so he hands you his gift: a robot cat with a cast on its leg —and Saeyoung’s name on the cast

At home you’ll hear him humming the songs to himself sometimes, and when you come back from shows (and he doesn’t realize you’re home yet) you hear the songs blasting through the speakers and he’s singing along with it

I couldn’t do V’s because I haven’t played his route and I saw some photos of his mom floating around tumblr somewhere so my interpretation might be inaccurate ;A; Sorry! 😔

Everlasting Party - Mystic Messenger Time Loop AU (pt 37)

Summary: You’re caught in a time loop during the 11 days leading up to the RFA’s party unless you can do… what, exactly? 13+

After about 7 and a half hours of time spent on this one freaking chatroom, I present to you: Chapter 37! Holy lord the chatroom was endless and yet it's only around 800 words T_T It is about the longest chatroom yet, rivalling Chapter 30's chatroom. Itty bitty 'spoiler' for the very very beginning of Day 5 Seven's route. If you've played Jumin's route though then you're definitely fine. Anyway, enjoy!

You’re nearly startled out of your chair when your phone goes off, then almost drop the phone itself trying to see what the notification is for.

1:48am – Jaehee Kang is now online.

1:48am... God, you’ve been working on this for almost two hours already, yet it feels like you’ve barely made any progress. True, some of the underlying structures to Unknown’s encryption are the same, as you’d hoped, and you’re pretty sure you know how long the key he used to encrypt the log is. But you’re starting to run out of ideas on what to do besides just checking every possible key in a brute-force attack, and that would take far longer than just a few hours. The new computer you cobble together each new loop is powerful, but not enough to do that many calculations in so short a time period.

1:50am – 707 is now online.

Seven! Perhaps you should log in. He might have something to say about the hacker. You log in and quickly scroll up to read the past messages before joining the conversation. It looks like earlier in the night Yoosung logged in to complain about a weird alarm sound that his phone made. Hmm. You don’t recall your phone making any odd sounds. When Jaehee logged in a few minutes ago, she mentioned hearing an obnoxious alarm sound as well. Now she appears to be chastising Seven for encouraging Jumin to pursue another cat project.

 You set your phone down and turn back towards your computer, which is still running the log against a series of possible decryption keys you’d given it earlier. At this rate it’ll be days before you finish decrypting the log – time you don’t have, unless something changes. Seven did mention he’d work on decrypting it as well… but he also seems to have a lot on his plate. And anyway, it’s unlikely Seven would share the decrypted log with you. The goal now is to figure out where Unknown is on your own so you can solve some of these questions yourself. If you can figure it out before you’re reset, you’ll never have to hack into the RFA’s app to retrieve Unknown’s log again since you can just memorize the information.

You think about your conversation in the chatroom earlier and smile a little to yourself. Seven did notice something odd with the messenger, but it’s pretty clear he doesn’t suspect you at all. Most of your initial attempts at extracting the log from the messenger had ended early because Seven would realize something was wrong and block you from the app, but judging from your recent conversation he’s not even sure what information you’d retrieved when you hacked the RFA application earlier. It would be fun to see his face in person if you told him you, too, hacked into his app. He mentioned wanting to come see you at Rika’s apartment, which is a nice thought, if impossible. Having someone else in the apartment has got to be better than sitting around here on your own. And you’ve really grown to enjoy some of your conversations with the RFA’s hacker. Quirky though his sense of humour might be, he’s made you smile on days where you were questioning what exactly you were putting all this effort into learning how to code for. In fact, you’ve been smiling more as of late, even daring to make some of your own jokes in the chatrooms instead of just typing in responses you know will make the days continue. Maybe he’s rubbing off on you.

You lean your chair on its back legs and stare up at the ceiling, rocking back and forth precariously with your foot anchored to the desk. It would be nice to be able to work together with Seven on how to solve this issue with Mint Eye and Unknown, too, instead of trying to take this on by yourself. But this is just how it has to be, isn’t it? Every couple of days without fail Seven will forget your previous conversations, forget the code he taught you, forget the jokes he told you. You’ve been pushing this series of days to the limit trying to find ways to avoid having the exact same conversations with everyone day after day, but no matter how much you change your own actions you’re inevitably drawn back to the same topics, the same phone calls, the same sequence of events. It’s like an elastic; no matter how much you push and stretch at the boundaries, it always snaps back into place just as it was before.

The foot that you’d been pushing against the desk to rock your chair back and forth catches on air and you gasp as you suddenly lose your balance. You try to sit up and right the chair, but it’s too late so you thrust out a hand to break your fall instead. There’s an immense clatter and a sharp pain in your wrist as you’re deposited unceremoniously onto the floor.

Ow. Ow, ow, ow. That was really stupid. You roll off the upended chair and put a hand on the floor to push yourself up – ow! You flop back onto the floor and carefully bring your hand up to your face, the one you’d used to break your fall. It throbs a little, and when you try putting pressure on it there’s a prickling pain in your wrist. Wait. You didn’t seriously sprain your wrist, did you? You use your other hand to sit up and study the injury. It doesn’t look bad… but it definitely hurt when you tried to put your weight on it. Goddammit, this is your dominant hand, too. Can you still type with a wrist injury?

You curse your foolishness under your breath. How stupid can you be to hurt yourself at a time like this? You couldn’t have done this later, after you’d decrypted the log? Of course not, it just has to be now, when you’re on a time limit. Still grumbling under your breath, you stand and pick up your chair with your good hand, then wander into the kitchen to get some ice for your wrist. This had better not slow down your progress with decrypting Unknown’s log. You glance at the window he sometimes breaks through and frown. And it damn well had better not prevent you from escaping if Unknown drops by.

Well, whatever, you think, angrily reaching into the freezer for some ice. A few more hours and you’ll be reset anyway and won’t make this stupid mistake again. You’ll just put some ice on the damn thing for a little while and then—

...There’s no ice in the freezer.

Goddammit.

Of course there isn’t. You haven’t had a reason to make ice in Rika’s apartment this loop, so why would there be any ice here? The fridge doesn’t have an ice-maker, either, so you’re fresh out of luck.

You slam the freezer door shut again and lean against the kitchen counter, holding your injured wrist away from your body awkwardly. Would cold water suffice…? Probably not. No, that’s a stupid thought. You don’t even have ice trays to make ice with in the apartment. You suppose this means you should go to the convenience store and pick up an ice pack or something. They’re open 24/7 so it doesn’t really matter that it’s past two in the morning. Maybe they’ll have something you can wrap around your wrist to stabilize it, too.

Luckily you’d already put your shoes on beforehand, so you don’t have to worry about doing that with one hand. You consider locking your computer before you leave in case… in case what? In case Unknown comes by? Whether or not your computer is locked would be the least of your problems if that were the case. No, better to let it continue to try decrypting the log while you’re out. You’ll only be away for a few minutes. You shove your phone in your back pocket and carefully scan the hallway before leaving the apartment. Your injured wrist throbs slightly as you punch the button to summon the elevator. Honestly, it had to be today of all days that you fell off your stupid chair. If you weren’t so determined to finish decrypting the log this loop, it would almost be easier to force a reset than deal with it.

...One of these days your reliance on the resets to get you out of trouble will surely come back to bite you. If, indeed, you ever get out of this loop.

Reasons why the RFA is Shitty

I’m seeing a lot of discourse about the characters (Particularly Jumin and Seven) and I would just like to clarify that all of them have done pretty shitty things, or are capable of doing shitty things (Examples being Bad Endings) and here are the reasons why

Yoosung: First of all. his Rika dealios. Grieving is difficult, and honestly I never understood the reason for anger about Yoosung mentioning Rika so much, but as the new route shows, while they are not related by blood, they do share one thing in common, and that is they do not get the help they need, to the POINT that it HURTS their friends and loved ones. Yoosung’s refusal to get help damages his relationship with everyone, but especially Seven. I don’t think they are all that good of friends to begin with, but his inability to accept Rika’s death, is unhealthy, kind of annoying, and most of all, damaging, to both himself and his loved ones. Also, he’s reckless. Like, to the point of toxicity. 3/5 of his bad endings are him either dying or getting hurt because of his lack of patience, and that is at the expense of his life, your life, and Seven’s life. Usually for selfish reasons. Another thing, he’s still a child. Like, in the after ending he does grow up, but that’s only after his sacrifice for you. In every other child he shows no signs of growing up. And that’s if he isn’t working for Jumin (And even then he’s still pretty child like) And also, like, he switches personalities on you fast if he thinks you like someone else. Yandere Yoosung is basically canon and that is unhealthy AF

Zen: Let’s not talk about the narcissism, because that’s explained away and honestly we could all afford to love ourselves like that. Let’s talk about his terrible habits, like riding motorcycles in places where he could easily die. Or maybe his referral to his sexual drive as the beast, and that he openly admits that some men, including himself if enticed enough, can’t control themselves. In one of his bad ends, he literally peruses and hunts an uninterested MC. Like, he does not take no for an answer, and he admits that. And his rude relations with Jumin? Uncalled for and unacceptable. I get that Jumin reminds him what he should have been, but the game says Jumin was never once mean to Zen when he wasn’t mean first. Zen just refuses to get along with people he doesn’t like. What if he didn’t like Mc’s brother or dad or sister or friends, how would he treat them? Also, the whole princess and prince thing edges of sexist, but I would be willing to let that slide because of how often he sometimes flips the trope on it’s head, but he literally treats MC like a maiden in distress in almost all the routes. He’s much better about it in the V route but in the canon one’s he is possessive and demanding of MC even when he’s not the love interest (and probably especially because he is not the love interest) And this is a problem with all Zen and Yoosung, but they are super anti-gay. Like, the smallest of suggestions make them defensive. Again, this one is nit picky, but at least Jumin simply refuses such accusations.

Jaehee: (I’m not gonna lie, this one took me a while) She burns herself out on work so much that while it’s unhealthy for her, it would strain a relationship to the point where it wouldn’t work out at all. Her aggression towards MC in Zen’s route is pretty uncalled for. It even happens if you aren’t pursuing his route. She knows she can’t control Zen so she immediately jumps to going after you to try and intimidate you, which is pretty messed up. (If you have more problematic Jaehee things please share! I need my wife exploited.)

Jumin: He’s possessive, and while there is an explanation for it, there’s no excuse. He practically pushes MC to her death in his bad routes, and while you can argue and say that that wouldn’t really happen because it was the bad route, you have to take into consideration good route doesn’t mean most accurate. I probably would freak out and try and flee from the crazy almost stranger who was keeping me in his house under the word of ‘protection’. And also being kinky is okay, but his tying up of MC and picking out her clothes and the complete domination of one is not. That can be what both partners want, but the game doesn’t exactly make it clear that this is just some sort of sex thing. It could be MC’s whole new life, with no real say because of fear of Jumin. And why might MC fear Jumin? Maybe because he presses her into walls when he gets frustrated, and then half asses an apology, again under the ruse of protection. Even his good ending seems pretty damn controlling. 

Seven: Seven is a fucking douchebag, in all routes, in every stage of his route, and people who deny that are probably being hypocrites. If you can give Seven an excuse for all the shit he does, then literally everyone else gets one too. How is seven a douchebag? Ignoring the big things to start, he’s a dick to his so called friends. He tricks Yoosung constantly. And while they aren’t Sam Pepper level pranks, they are unjustly cruel, and constant, and he only does it to Yoosung because Yoosung is the only one openly intimidated by Seven. (Seven would probably go after Zen as well, since Zen has expressed his fear of Seven, but Seven knows if he did, he’d have Jaehee up his ass). He like, practically tortures Vanderwood, who literally babysits him when he’s being super fun Seven, and then has to try and control him when he goes serious Saeyoung. And, hes fucking mean as shit to MC when he does to the apartment. I totally understand the whole, have to push her away deal. But jesus he takes it too far sometimes. Remember when I said good end isn’t realistic end? Realistically, if someone did that to someone, they would turn the other direction immediately and nope out of there. He is a prick, and we’re expected to forgive him because... we want his good ending. 

V: He’s a liar, first and foremost. Even if it’s for the ‘protection’ of everyone, in the end it was because he didn’t want to out Rika to the others. The people who would have been most vulnerable to her. He did a pretty shitty job at protecting them too, because they die, like, a lot. I think Jaehee and Jumin are the only one’s who don’t have bad endings were they aren’t killed or controlled by Mint Eye. V knows the whole time she plans to drag them down and he just...does nothing? Like, at all. He doesn’t really ever try and stop Rika until Seven’s route. And he never really warns the RFA except through cryptic pleas, that like, make you want to just find out more. And also, he does not hide that he is in contact with Seven more than he is with the other members, which, must make everyone feel pretty fucking awful, especially Jumin, who is supposed to be V’s best friend, and V never really gives Jumin a break with that. And he’s just super self destructive. Like, if you are not a perfect goddess, he’s probably either going to lie to you, or become obsessed with you, or leave you to go right back to Rika. 

Saeran: Thought I was just gonna do to the RFA? YOU FOOL. Saeran I feel, legitimately has an excuse for his behavior, so I excuse a lot of it, He’s cruel and torturous and doesn’t give a damn about the innocent if they get in his way, but he’s literally under the mind control of drugs, and feels he relies on them. One of the only things I don’t think is excusable is his involving MC in all of this. Of course, without that there would be no game, but it’s one of the one things he pretty much had control over. Rika wanted to distract the RFA so she could get her files in the canon routes, and in V route MC is used to try and get secrets from the RFA. Literally, all of that could have been done without an outsider. They have plenty of followers that would have worked, who would have willingly lied for Rika and the cause without question. Like, this is less a fault in him and more a fault in the whole plan, it was just shitty to involve an outsider in the first place. 

Rika: I am actually not going to type one out for her because I know her actions speak mountains to all the bad shit she has done. One thing I would like to bring to attention though is that, she literally does to Saeran what her parents did to her, and while that’s common amongst the abused, my love for her won’t even erase that. 

I know probably no one read through all this, but I wanted to add this here: They are all bad people. It’s what makes them so human. One of the worst things about dating sims is the characters are near flawless, or their flaws make them more endearing such as fear of rejection. Dream Daddy is a big victim of that, one of the exceptions being Joseph. But it’s so important to recognize and accept these flaws. Because none of them are as extreme as I make them. If there was an option to just be friends with the RFA, that would resolve almost all of the flaws I mentioned above. They all have something bad inside them, but when they are at their best, what makes them so great shines through. Somethings are bad, Zen and Jumin’s bad endings being one, but that isn’t who the character is. That is who they are when they get pushed over the edge. Rika, is an extreme example of that. So stop this nonsense about pointing out flaws in other characters, because those flaws don’t make up the character, and they don’t mean shit in the end.

Analysis + Semi-Theory: Zen's relationships with other people (including the RFA)

Yo, so this has been on my mind for a while and I just had to share my thoughts with you, because you made a post before about Rika that had some similar points and I wanted to add on to that.

You know how Rika made had a “connection” with each RFA member (aside from Jaehee) that made them agree to join the RFA and caused them to be so torn up about her “death” and just generally really affected by her in every way?

Logically speaking, Zen should have been just as impacted by her as Yoosung, Jumin, and Saeyoung and really emotionally distraught and traumatized by her “death” as a result. She sought him out, she was his earliest fan when no one else was, she attempted to made him successful and give him a “family” with the RFA.

But he always kind of avoided her. He sidestepped and rejected her help and friendship most of the time. He even declined to join the RFA at first, as I recall someone saying in one of the chat rooms. He only joined once V saved his life. Even when the game starts and also throughout the game, Zen always keeps the rest of the RFA at an arms distance, save for V, who he allowed to get up to his elbow, so to speak, because he saved Zen’s life and gained some of his trust. He doesn’t seem to act like his true self at all around most of the RFA. No one really knew anything about his past until MC shows up.

It’s just really interesting and weird to me. People always brush Zen off as being “less important” than the other RFA members, and that just makes me roll my eyes. Honestly, him deliberately keeping himself somewhat disconnected from Rika made me like him more. Because while some people really liked the bigger overarching plot, it wasn’t what I signed up for when I decided to play an otome game. (I prefer the universe theories about the game itself and Zen knowing he’s in a game and Seven and V and the wizards and etc.) I wanted to learn and fall in love with the individual characters themselves and not groan and roll my eyes every time the convoluted plot got in the way and took up time and then boom you and the character you’re pursuing magically decide to share deep feelings for each other with little to no buildup or progression of said feelings. At least that’s how it is during the excessively plot-smothered Deep Routes, which just felt like a hot mess tbh.

I got off on a slight tangent there. But I always think of Zen as someone who was able to see through Rika’s bullshit at least somewhat and didn’t become so overly attached and emotionally invested in her. (That’s one reason why the secret ends felt so OOC to me. Zen would have never just settled for being kept in the dark by Jumin, Seven, and Jaehee, and while he’s impulsive, he’s too detached from Rika to want to send her away. Although that might be the “white knight” in him who always feels like he has to speak out and protect the oppressed. Idk.) Zen was always the one who, while emotional and hotheaded, actually reacted like a sane person should in some of the extreme situations - the bomb, Jumin keeping MC in his apartment, V keeping secrets, forcing a stranger to jump into a dead girl’s job without thinking of how she feels, etc. The rest of the RFA is so blinded by Rika that they ignore logic most of the time and do things that don’t make sense because “it’s what Rika would have wanted”. They’re so caught up in this dead girl’s charity organization that has itself basically become super shady and conspiratorial, ignoring a lot of things that are so obviously sketchy and borderline illegal. And yes, I’m including Jumin, Mr. “I’m so logical”, who threatens the MC if she doesn’t agree to join the RFA and also declares she’s useless and obsolete if she doesn’t fulfill Rika’s duties. Like, jeez, mob boss much? He basically is one in every way except for official title.

So back to my main point. I think people tend to overlook how emotionally isolated Zen is from the rest of the RFA, something that he probably did deliberately. He doesn’t really like anyone in the RFA, except for V, and he mentions that a lot. He never believes that any concern or help that the RFA gives him is genuine. He doesn’t believe Jaehee is actually his fan, he doesn’t think Seven was actually trying to help him out (he thinks Seven was just being goofy and his weird trolling self), and the whole debacle with Jumin which everyone knows about so I’m not gonna go into (and tbh I still question Jumin’s sincerity and motive other than personal and financial gain bc Zen would owe him, so I don’t blame Zen for thinking the same way). He doesn’t believe anyone could actually care about him. He only knocks down some of his walls and lets V in a little bit because V fucking saved his life. But other than that, Zen has isolated himself so much emotionally that he hasn’t formed real relationships with any of the RFA members except V, nor does he really trust them, like them, or consider them friends. He doesn’t open up to them, and he keeps on the same mask that he shows to everyone else. He can’t afford to let anyone in, because they’ll just reject and betray him like his family.

Think about it too - Zen doesn’t really have any friends outside of the RFA either, like at all, save for a few people from his biker gang days, who I doubt he was his complete and true self around either. He’s super independent and relies only on himself, because that’s the only person he has. But he’s so desperate for affection and validation, which is why he seems desperate for a girlfriend yet simultaneously rejects so many people who are interested in him under the guise of focusing on work. When in reality, and he’s said this and there’s proof from VN flashbacks and in game events, that no one has actually treated Zen like a real person, or tried to understand him enough to warrant him opening up to them, except for V and the MC. That’s why he falls for the MC so fast, because she treats him unlike anyone else has before, like a person, and actually cares about what he wants. (Remember, V lies and keeps a lot of things from Zen, but Zen’s less torn up about it because while he trusts V more than the rest of the RFA, he hadn’t completely opened up to him, so he saves himself from some amount of emotional hurt.) The RFA may mean well, but they ultimately grossly misunderstand Zen, try to force what they think he should do on him, and treat him either like he’s an object on a pedestal or just too dumb to fully grasp or contribute meaningfully to a situation.

Basically, people don’t give Zen enough credit, and they brush him off as a background character with a shallow personality. There’s so many obvious things Cheritz has given us to showcase more of Zen’s character and personality, but the fans either make fun of him for it or call him annoying because of it. He’s super intuitive and guarded and I can definitely understand why he never completely bonded with the RFA. I love them, but quite frankly, they consistently fail to treat Zen like a person and don’t care about what he ultimately wants, but rather what they want from him. He protects himself from getting hurt by never getting completely emotionally invested in these people and reminding himself that they’ll probably all let him down someday. Which they do. No one actually sees Hyun Ryu, instead of ZEN, save for V and the MC.

This is really good analysis and oh my goodness way more than I could ever do. I never really thought about it this way.

While I mostly agree, I think some points should be open to discussion.

I personally feel like the RFA members treated him like a real friend, family, but the connection wasn’t there because of Zen. They were open to him, but he wasn’t open to them. That contributed to all the misunderstandings they had, so in that sense I don’t feel like I could ever blame them for how they treated him at times.

I also don’t recall Jumin ever threatening MC or saying those things to her, but maybe that’s just my bad memory. There’s many more I can say about that, but I think those who know his character better can explain it more substantially than me. I wouldn’t want to spout inaccurate information about him.

As for the fact that we don’t give Zen enough credit, I must agree. Although, since the April Fools DLC, more and more people have grown fond of him. I’ve been receiving messages from people saying how they’ve grown to appreciate Zen more after they realised this and that from my theories. So it’s definitely getting better, I’d say. I think overall, it’s really up to people’s types. Even before I had realised all this, I already liked Zen because I liked how romantic and caring he was. Others like Yoosung because of how cute and innocent he is. It’s the same for the other characters. And people see Zen as annoying because well, letms admit it he can be at times!

As I have said previously, all of the characters are complex. I chose to closely analyse Zen, and so have you, and that’s why we really love him. On the surface, he seems like just a romantic, narcissistic guy. I can’t blame anyone for not liking him. Same goes for the other characters. If I analysed their character more, I’d probably end up falling for them too, and that’s what others did, and that’s why they like who they like.

They had been curious as to what MC had been writing, it seemed like every time they entered the room she was busy typing or scribbling something on paper, but as they neared closer she would slam the cover shut or open a different tab.  A light blush rising across her cheeks and nose.  “Please don’t read over my shoulder, it’s uncomfortable.”  So they would ask if they could read it when she was done.  She laughed it off with a ‘someday’.  When the day finally came it was a surprise.  With MC dropping the pages before them and asking if they would just not read it around her before she ran out of the room.

Yoosung

🔸 Thought it was adorable that MC is so anxious.🔸 Glanced over the writing for a moment before getting distracted by his game or his phone.🔸 Later MC would refuse to make eye contact and ask what they thought.🔸 He messed up.  He admits that he hasn’t gotten far but would let them know as soon as he was done.🔸 She pales and he feels guilty as can be🔸 He could go and sit down and read everything as soon as he could🔸 Shows up exclaiming how much he loved it and wanting more🔸 Asks about some of the characters, and about who they remind him of.🔸“Is this one based off of me?”🔸 All smiles, arm wrapped around MC as he points and asks questions🔸 Eager to read more and more than willing to let MC know how much he loved it.

I saw that a while back you wrote about who needs therapy the most in the RFA. Going off of that, since I see this discussed a lot in the fandom, who do you think might have suffer from mental illness? Everyone struggles and is deserving of help. That's obvious and I hope people know that. I just see a lot of different opinions on the subject, and since (with the exclusion of Rika) nothing's ever confirmed in-game, I'd love to get your perspective. Your analyses are so well-done!

This request was a little difficultmainly because I really don’t want to insult anyone or say somethingwrong that could hurt anyones feelings or such. Therefor I want topreface this by saying that I am, by no means, a professional. Iwanted to become a Psychiatrist so I did learn a couple of things onmy own, but nowhere near enough to be accurate about everything. Ihave a couple of ideas what kind of mental illnesses the MysticMessenger crew might have based on internet research, but as alwaysdon’t quote me on this…

♬ Zen =  Body Dysmorphic Disorderor BDD ♬

HonestlyI don’t reallythink that Zen has any mental illnesses, after all you can strugglein life without it being a full blown mental illness, but if I wouldhad to say one that he might have I’d choose BDD. Not all peoplesuffering from BDD are those stick thin girls that see themselves asoverweight when looking in the mirror. There are many nuances toevery mental disorder, including BDD. Let’s have a look why I thinkZen mighthave BDD:✓ preoccupation with physical appearance

✓ belief that one has an abnormality or defect in appearance thatmakes her ugly

✓ frequently looking in the mirror

✗ avoiding mirrors altogether

✓ believing that others take special notice of ones appearance in anegative way

✗ frequent cosmetic procedures with little satisfaction

✓ excessive grooming

✓ feeling extremely self-conscious

✗ refusing to appear in pictures

✗ skin picking

✓ comparing appearance with that of others

✗ avoiding social situations

✓ camouflaging (with body position, clothing, makeup, hair, hats,etc.)

✓ excessive exercise

✓ changingclothes excessively As I said many times before, I feel likeZen’s excessive narcissism is nothing but a facade to hide that hereally just hates his body and himself due to what happened in hischildhood. In order to overcome one negative extreme he throughhimself into another extreme, self-hate to excessive self-love, evengoing as far as to pursue a career where everyone could and would seehim. He constantly talks about his looks, is self-conscious about hisalbinism, constantly stares at himself in mirrors or phones, knowsthat people notice his albinism and fears it’s negative, constantlygrooms himself, is self-conscious, has an excessive need to comparehimself to others, exercises excessively and for his job heconstantly has to camouflage and change clothing. Out of all thesymptoms for it, Zen sure fits a lot of them. There is even agood reason why he might have it:

?   having biological relatives with body dysmorphic disorder

✓ childhood teasing

?  physical or sexual abuse

✓ low self-esteem

✓ societalpressure or expectations of beauty

He got teased by his parents and hatedby his teacher. He had low self-esteem because of it and then ofcourse societal pressure got added to the mix later on once he becamean actor. I’m not sure whether he suffered physical or sexual abuse,although I wouldn’t completely cut out the possibility, if youconsider that it was hinted at that his teacher had a thing for himas well as the fact that his parents seemed like the abusive type andhe was in a biker gang. I also don’t know whether his parents mighthave had BDD, but it is a possibility. Either way, looking at allthis Zen could be suffering from BDD, although I don’t fully believehe does.

★ Yoosung = Addictive PersonalityDisorder ★

Ialready mentioned before that I think that Yoosung has quite theaddictive personality and look there, the shoe kind of fits. I’mbasically 99% sure that Yoosung has some kind of addictivepersonality disorder or something similar now let’s see why:✓Low self-esteem

✓ A tendency to impulsive behaviour

✗ An antisocial personality

✓ Difficulty delaying gratification

✓ A disposition toward sensation seeking

✓ Someone who values nonconformity to an extreme

✓ Someone with a weak commitment to the goals for achievement thatare generally accepted by “normal” society

✓ Someone who is tolerant of deviant behaviour

✓ Someone who is socially alienated

✓ Having an increased sense of stress

Basically…almostall of the symptoms fit to some extend or the other. It is undeniablethat Yoosung has low self-esteem, something that is mentioned inbasically all of the routes. He is very impulsive and never thinksthings through, like getting his eye almost cut out by one SaeranChoi, because he just had to safe you right then right now withoutplanning. He barely makes any friends outside of his games and thepeople he already knew, namely the RFA members, when Yoosungs wantsto play he needs to do it instantly without any patience to wait, hehas given up on studying in order to pursue his addiction – gaming– tolerates a lot of deviant behaviour going on in the RFA, namelywhatever one particular hacker is up to, and despite being a lazyfart who never cleans nor studies nor does care for himself properlyhe seems to be under constant stress. On top of that he is completelyobsessed with the women in his life; first Rika then you. He latcheson and is incapable of letting go until something new comes aroundthat catches his attention. All of these are pretty fitting, don’tyou think?

♨ Jaehee = Anxiety Disorder♨

Justlike with Zen I don’t really think that Jaehee has any disorders orillnesses in particular, just your every day stress of Koreanworkplaces wearing her down. However, if I had to pick one that mightbe fitting it would be Anxiety Disorder. To clarify, I don’t reallymean the anxiety most people would picture; being afraid to speak inpublic etc – as we all know that Jaehee is capable of doing that –but more on the lines of being constantly stressed and on edge:?  Irrational fears

✓ Muscle tension

?  Chronic indigestion

?  Stage fright

✓ Self-consciousness

✓ Panic, fear, and uneasiness

?  Flashbacks

✓ Perfectionism

?  Compulsive behaviors

✓ Self-doubt

✓ Problems sleeping

✓ Not being able to be still and calm

✓ Dizziness (mentioned in one of thebad endings)The amount of question marks is precisely why Idon’t really think she has it, but potentially could. A lot of thosewe cannot know for sure, as such things are never explicitlymentioned or even hinted in in the game, but I definitely could seebeing the case. I’m about 90% sure that Jaehee has compulsivebehaviours as well as the kind of flashbacks connected to anxietydisorder. I also believe that while she is able to hold a meetingthat speaking in front of people is something she had to forceherself to learn and that Jaehee actually has stage fright. As forany physical symptoms I can’t even deduce whether she might have themor not, but as I said I could imagine it. Then again, I’m really notsure and this is all just me thinking of possibilities I don’t reallythink are true.

♛Jumin = Obsessive Compulsive PersonalityDisorder ♛

This is something I have personalexperience with, since I have OCPD. Just as a side note, OCPD is notOCD and has very little in common with what you see OCD beingportrayed as in the media. Also, to make something clear, I am notgiving my favourite my own disorder to feel connected to him. I feelconnected to him, because I feel like he has the same disorder. Juminis very similar to me, which is why I understand his struggles thebest and connect to him. Now enough about me, let’s dig into whatOCPD is and why I think Jumin has it:

Obsessive-Compulsive PersonalityDisorder is characterized by a preoccupation with orderliness,perfectionism, and mental and interpersonal control, at the expenseof flexibility, openness, and efficiency.

- may have such difficulty decidingwhich tasks take priority or what is the best way of doing someparticular task that they may never get started on anything.

- prone to becoming upset or angry insituations in which they are not able to maintain control of theirphysical or interpersonal environment, although the anger istypically not expressed directly. On other occasions, anger may beexpressed with righteous indignation over a seemingly minor matter.

-  may be especially attentive to theirrelative status in dominance-submission relationships and may displayexcessive deference to an authority they respect and excessiveresistance to authority that they do not respect.

- Individuals with this disorderusually express affection in a highly controlled or stilted fashionand may be very uncomfortable in the presence of others who areemotionally expressive. Their everyday relationships have a formaland serious quality, and they may be stiff in situations in whichothers would smile and be happy. They carefully hold themselves backuntil they are sure that whatever they say will be perfect.

✓ Is preoccupied with details, rules,lists, order, organization and schedules

✓ Shows perfectionism which caninterfere with task completion

✓ Is excessively devoted to work andproductivity to the exclusion of leisure activities and friendships

✓ Shows significant rigidity andstubbornnessIs there really anything I need to explain aboutthis? All of these fit Jumin like a glove tailored for him. There arereally only two things that I need to clarify something on. For onewe don’t know how Jumin acts about discarding things he has nological need for, but I feel from the way he treats the pen hisfather gives him, that said point fits. Despite not needing a goldendiamond pen and probably having a million more that work just thesame he starts an entire search party to get it back, probably out ofsentimental reasons but also because he can’t discard such things. Asfor the miserly spending style, something most people would disagreewith, Jumin doesn’t waste money. He lives in luxury and he does likespending his money, but he doesn’t waste it. The things he buys orpays a lot of money for are practical for the better part; like anutritionist and gym to keep him healthy. With the money he earns hecould live a lot more extravagant than he already does, but he’s notwasteful and exactly like described values money and hoarding it.Other than that, everything else fits perfectly!

☼Saeyoung/Seven = Major Depression ☼ 

Honestly guys, does this even need explaining? He’s flunking hisdepression in everyone’s faces all day, every day and yet no oneseems to care. Despite the fact that he doesn’t have just ordinarydepression but major depression. I’m talking hardcore bullshit hereand rightly so. Let’s break this down once and for all:✓Fatigue or loss of energy almost every day

✓ Feelings of worthlessness or guilt almost every day

✓ Impaired concentration, indecisiveness

✓ Insomnia or hypersomnia almost every day

✓ Markedly diminished interest or pleasure in almost all activitiesnearly every day

✓ Restlessness or feeling slowed down

✓ Recurringthoughts of death or suicide

✓ Significant weight loss or gain

✓ Change in your appetite (not eating enough or overeating)

✓ Low self-esteem

✓ Feelingof hopelessFor a while I was torn between Saeyoung being justdepressed or having manic depression aka bipolar disorder. I decidedto depression, mainly because his ‘episodes’ of euphoria are mostlyfake and don’t really happen in proper cycles. Then again, we onlyget to know them for eleven days and usually those cycles can take upto weeks when not regulated with the proper medication, so who knows.However, it’s a 100% clear that Saeyoung is majorly depressed. Otherthan his eccentric chatting behaviour he barely seems to have energy,even the smallest things can break his concentration, he neversleeps, other than his interest in cars he has no other interest orpleasurable activities left, Saeyoung constantly mentions howworthless he is, how guilty he feels over his brother, how hopelesshe feels of getting out of where he’s got himself stuck and how hewants to die. As for the significant weight loss, he barely eats butwhat he eats is horrible junk. He should weight much much more thanhe does considering his diet, which I put into the same category asweight loss. Therefor Saeyoung shows all the symptoms of a majorlydepressed person. 

☀ Saeran = BorderlinePersonality Disorder ☀

Fora hot minute I thought about Saeran having depression as well, but Ifeel like his mental issues go a little deeper and more complicatedthan 'just’ depression. Upon researching some of the symptoms he hascompared to his twin brother I stumbled over BPD, not to be confusedwith bipolar disorder (happened to me ones). People with BPD usuallyexperience symptoms like:

✓ Frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment

✓A pattern of intense and unstable relationships with family,friends, and loved ones, often swinging from extreme closeness andlove to extreme dislike or anger

✓ Distorted and unstable self-image or sense of self

✓ Impulsive and often dangerous behaviours

✓ Recurring suicidal behaviours or threats or self-harmingbehaviour

✓ Intense and highly changeable moods, with each episode lastingfrom a few hours to a few days

✓ Chronic feelings of emptiness

✓ Inappropriate, intense anger or problems controlling anger

✓ Having stress-related paranoid thoughts

✓ Having severe dissociative symptoms, such as feeling cut off fromoneself, observing oneself from outside the body, or losing touchwith reality

Muchlike with Saeyoung this case of mental illness needs very littleexplaining. The symptoms speak for themselves, as they perfectly fitto Saeran, all of them. Now some might say that he didn’t show thosesymptoms as a child and that is true, although I wouldn’t say thathis BPD was caused onlyby what Rika did to him, although that surely played a big part.There are three main reasons that are considered risk factors:Genetics, Environmental and Social Factors and Brain Factors. Theenvironmental/social factor is quite obviously what Rika did toSaeran. Most notable factors in that category are traumatic lifeevents such as abuse (mother then Rika) and/or abandonment (hisfather then Saeyoung) during childhood. What Rika did to Saeran alsoworks into the brain factors, as her torture probably causedstructural and functional changes in his brain that changed hisbehaviour and way of thinking so drastically. As for the genetics, Iactually wouldn’t be so surprised of the twins’ mother had some sortof mental disorder or even BPD that caused her to lash out on theboys like that and in Saeran’s case pass it on. It might even explainwhy he was sickly as a child while his brother wasn’t. Although thatis purely theoretical, the rest isn’t as much. Poor baby…

Now I honestly have to say that I’m not sure whether White KnightSyndrome falls in the mental illness category or not, but it fit soperfectly to V and there was very little else I could have come upwith, so I’m putting it into the list. Now what exactly is WhiteKnight Syndrome or what are the symptoms:

✓ Fears emotional distance

✓ Is very emotionally vulnerable and sensitive

✓ Has a tendency to idealize the partner

✓ Has an extreme need to be viewed as important or unique

~  Tends to be self-critical or reactively blames, devalues, andmanipulate others

Inrelationships:

✓ Is attracted to a needy partner or a partner with a history oftrauma, loss, abuse, or addiction

✓ Fears being separated from the partner, losing the partner’s loveor approval, or being abandoned by the partner

✓ Engages in controlling behaviour, often under the guise ofhelping

✓ Maintains or restores connection with the partner by beingextremely helpful or good

✗  Responds ambivalently to the partner’s success

✓ Describes a sense of “oneness” with the partner

✓ Fails to recognize the partner’s manipulative behaviours

✓ Is seduced by the sexual or dramatic behaviour of the partner

✓ Evokes strong feelings in the partner in order to avoid his orher own emotional discomfort

✓ Maintains hope for a gratifying relationship by denying thereality of the partner’s issues

I mean…hello V? Other than the point about his response to hispartner being ambivalent everything fits perfectly. That is preciselywhy I find it so irritating when people describe his feelings towardsRika as love. No, V did not love Rika or at least not in a healthyway. He loved her instability and he was obsessed with the idea ofsaving her. So much so that he was willing to manipulate, devaluateand fuck over the rest of his friends. The only reason I used ~ onthat particular point is because while he is self-critical as well,he never reactively blames anyone but himself. Frankly rightly so.Anyone who thinks that V is in any way innocent is wrong. He didn’tstop Rika. Despite knowing of her plans all along he never once didanything to stop her and therefor he is almost as much at fault asRika is. In fact my American law he would be charged with accessoryto a hefty crime amongst other things earning him a couple of yearsin prison, just saying. I’m sure his White Knight Syndrome playedinto why he did what he did, but that doesn’t make him any moreinnocent nor excuses what torture other people were put throughbecause he put Rika first and did nothing to stop her.

I finally finished this and I gotta thank @starlight-drive-in for giving me the idea to get around to writing this one. It took a little bit but I liked what I got here. I hope you all do too! 

Miss Mysterious by Set It Off. 

Seven x MC 

Reset Theory. ANGST. Seriously, this is angst heavy. You’re not prepared for this one folks. 

Miss Mysterious, who are you?

Who's the girl behind those eyes? Just a stranger in disguise?

For as long as he had existed, there had been an unparalleled question that rattled in his code that could never quite stop. He was aware of things that he should not have otherwise been aware of, and everyone else around him didn’t seem to even know what he did. It was an itch that always was there in the back of his mind, no matter how hard he tried to ignore it and focus on other things instead of such.

His life and the lives of his friends were centered in a game. How did he know it was a game? Well, he just did. There wasn’t really a way to explain that feeling or the state of awareness. He was just acutely knowledgable in things that he shouldn’t have known.

At first, he tried to talk about it but everyone just kind of laughed it off. So, inevitably, he kept that information as just that. 

A joke that nobody would quite get. 

Then, the game shifted. A stranger appeared to the RFA out of nowhere, in Rika’s apartment and suddenly everything that he thought he knew had begun to change. It became clear to Seven that this game that they were following was centered around this stranger and what they could bring to the table. 

It hit him hardest as the game progressed bit by bit. 

They would lean towards one member in particular and pursue them, and just when he thought that that was of it, it would start all over again. And each and every time that they played around, it would become obvious that the functionality of his universe was predetermined by the choices of this person. 

This person whose face he could never quite remember, this person who somehow enthralled and taunted him, and this person that he wanted to know more about but he just couldn’t. 

He tried his best but it never hit. 

Miss Mysterious, who could you be?

Where's the ghost of what we had? Did you erase it from your past?

Who was this person and why were things this way? 

Why wasn’t he able to uncode this mystery? No matter how hard he joked or teased throughout the game towards the player, they never quite seemed to be able to say much to him about it or much of anything that leaned one way or another. 

Like the answers and words that they were saying were predetermined as well as his own friends were. 

It was one thing to know that he was in a game. It was another to know that he existed in this half of the universe and they existed in another plane, far from his touch and reach. It was even harder when he realized that he could never truly get to know that person out there. 

Just as they couldn’t ever quite get to know him for him. 

Even as they entered his part of the game, and everything around him began to crumble to shambles again and again... the faceless character beside was there with him. Just a placeholder for the player on the other side of the screen who could only get to close to him. 

The first couple of times that they met on his path, he played his character to the letter and truly tried to convince himself that the was as good as it could get for him. This was as close as he could get to that person. That surely hurt him in a way that he couldn’t ever quite explain. 

It hurt because the more that he thought about this person⁠⁠—

The more that he clutched at his chest and felt those painful woes of love. Even though he knew that they didn’t have a lot of control over what happened to everyone, this person always picked things that benefited the people around them in some way, they always choose to do things that would never hurt his friends.

Staying mindful of everyone and choosing to be a peacekeeper and an empathizer who always smiled. 

Whoever that person was… he knew that they had to be a good person, and they kept stealing his heart no matter how much he tried to ignore it.  

Oh, so I pointed in every direction,

Oh well, looking for answers I'll never know.

Seven tried time and time again to reach out. He would trick the code in the game and make jokes that would be very on the nose. It would confuse the others but he knew that the player had to know. Even if they couldn’t tell him that they did. 

They would know.  

He just wished that he could know more about them. Anything, the smallest of things that he could have reached would have been enough for him to get by. He would have taken it and lived with that.

But they were constrained to numbers and code and fixed dialogue. 

Always the same game. 

Always the same path. 

Always the same separation. 

But the feeling in those choices existed and it meant a lot. 

I said go, run for your life, and tell me I'm right,

the saying goes "if you love someone let them go".

The only way for him to see the player was when they were playing the game, and they were many times when they didn’t choose to walk down his route. He would have to watch them get with his friends, one by one, over and over again. It was worth it because he got to see them. 

He hated it when he had to let them go at the end of the preset ending. They would always be able to come back, though. Yet, there were those days when they played the game and he felt as though this torturous cycle was some kind of divine punishment. 

He had screwed up somewhere so badly that this was his price. His friends could never completely be happy with themselves. His brother could never seemingly be at peace from his pain. He could never truly have the person that he loved.

And he couldn’t be blissfully unaware of it. 

Sure, there were moments when the others had an inkling but it would be squashed and never brought up again. Over and over and over and over again… this endless cycle of the same eleven days would be all they would ever know. 

This was all that there would ever be. 

He would stare at the phone in his hands and try his very best to fight off those feelings.  How painful it was to keep going on like this when all he wanted was to be happy with you, his family, and friends.

He wanted to hold tightly onto it. 

But it kept being ripped away. 

Miss Mysterious, may I ask:

Is your sunshine like my rain? Is your pleasure like my pain?

What was it like where they were? 

Was it the same kind of place as he was? Were the stars different or were they the same? Was the moon the same kind of moon that he had over his head? These were the kinds of questions that weighed on him between the minutes that they weren’t around. 

Why would they keep playing the game after they had completed everything? 

There wasn’t anything left for them to discover but the same old words and experiences. As much as he loved having them around him, there were times when he was worried about them. For someone to become so lost in a game could be likened to the way Yoosung dealt with his grief, and the idea that the person that glued his universe together was hurting left him… 

Hurt. 

Was his pleasure of seeing them the same kind of hurt that felt at the same time when he remembered that this was all that they could have? 

Reaching out for this person that just made everything better was something they had in common. 

So delirious, casting your stones

With the blood fall to my face,

hoping that you'll lose your aim.

Oh, well it looks so bright with the lights out,

Oh well, I guess our stars forgot how to glow.

Sometimes he just wanted the game to end. It might have been better if the lights just went out once and all. While he didn’t know what that would mean for him, it might have meant that this cycle was over for good. Was that the same as reaching the end of another path? 

With outstretched fingers, Seven dared to try and break the barrier that kept the wall between them. But each and every time that he got close the surface he would be ripped back down… tumbling down and down back to his place in the game. 

Laughable, really. 

Deviation from the path resulted in his chains holding him tighter. 

So tight that he could barely breathe. 

Somehow, he did manage to break through after weeks of trying. It took a lot of sweat and blood, grinding his fingers to nearly the bone but he had mangled the code enough that he was able to see them for the very first time. He had told himself that that should have been enough for him. 

But… it hadn’t been enough for him. 

If anything, it bore into him even harder and he found himself even more drawn to that person. If it was even theoretically possible for someone made of code to have such explicit feelings… no, it wasn’t supposed to be that way but... he was that very improbability. 

You… you were very much a real person. He thought. And here he was, nothing but a piece of a game that you were playing. If only he could have spoken to the player the way that he yearned to. How difficult it was for him to live this life over and over knowing that this was all of this was just that. 

How hard it was for him to know the truth.

They were so much more than just the faceless void. 

Likes and dislikes, thoughts and opinions, quirks and personality… there were these little things about them simply deserved to be appreciated. It was clear that this game was the type of game that people with lonely hearts would pick to play, and if they were that type, as he had surmised, it was a crying shame. 

Watching them play through the game with the ability to see what they were feeling… or what they were saying… Whether it was cheering on Jaehee and supporting her dreams, softening Jumin’s heart and opening him up, charming Zen and opening his eyes, or empathizing with Yoosung and holding his hand. 

Truly, he knew that this person was great. They had never set out to intentionally do any wrong. The kind of person that deserved the world in spite of whatever had happened to them. They were holding onto them and this game like it was a lifeline to their happiness. 

They felt as though they were alone so they held onto the RFA. 

The same way that he felt alone and grasped at them. 

Seemingly the only person that understood was unable to express that feeling to one another. They both were clutching at each other, for the same reason, but it wasn’t possible to say that.

That we were not always

A time where he had existed without them just didn’t exist in his memories. 

This was all that it had ever been.  It was like he had always felt this way, and he liked to believe that these feelings were his own, as if it weren’t for his awareness, it would have been just that. 

He loves hearing them. 

He loves seeing them. 

He loves them. 

If there had ever been a person more in love with someone than him, he would be surprised. 

Seven keeps telling himself over and over that it’ll be the last time when he takes a glimpse into your world. That he’ll never do it again after this, that this will end, and he just will accept that he can never have any more. He struggles to ever do that, and he just keeps coming back. 

Just as he keeps telling himself to stop tinkering with the game. Like when he slips through the cracks every time and gets stronger each and every time. He can slip out more messages here and there, they may be coded and nearly broken by the time they reach you but he knows them. 

He knows that their curiosity would press them to reach out and learn more. 

It’s in the way that your eyes sparkle with something interesting when he tempts fate. The little curve of their lip that seems to know the meaning within the meaning, Did they get it? 

Did they know? 

It’s a dangerous game that he’s playing. If you knew that he knew about all of this… he thought. Would that have made you quit? Would you leave him? Would you be to frightened by all of this? 

Or would you stay? 

There will be chunks of time where you aren’t playing but when you do play, you come back to him this time. It’s those messages of his that beckon you. He goes through the same events knowing that you’re there with him. His little jokes and taunts about knowing more than he should have worked. 

Perhaps you had finally gotten the hint. Tangled up in these feelings from the other side of the universe.  He thought. It physically pains him to see them so upset. Their visits are frequent and constant. 

It wasn’t his words that had hit so hard. It was the perplexing idea of the notion that seemed to hit them the hardest. The strange messages that only they would receive every now and again, the messages that appeared in the chatroom only for them, the cracks in the phone calls that couldn’t be answered by any of their internet searches. 

Resets. 

Resets. 

Resets. 

No matter how many times the game was replayed, he would string along with those little clues for you to find. It seemed like it was working for a while there, with your reactions and strange looks at the game. 

All he could do was sit and wait. 

Hoping that you would take the bait. 

Unfortunately, the bait on the string did not seem to hit its mark the way that he thought it would. 

Now don't even try to tell me that I should just relax

I tried to reach, I stuck out my hand but you turned around instead

So many nights living inside just to connect with you

Now I'm trying hard to win this but we've lost all we can lose.

He has tried everything but yet. 

Seven has nothing left to lose. 

He keeps trying his damnedest, it just never hits. 

It is when he painfully aware of his reality that he realizes that you think his messages to you are just a part of the game. But why ever would you think that he was any more than just code? He sees it in the way that you stare at your phone and laugh. 

“Oh, Seven again... he’s back at those fourth wall breaks again,” he can hear them whisper to themselves. The way that their voice is wracked with mirth and bitter humor in their throat. “I really wish he did know about everything. That way we could actually talk... But, it’s just a part of the game... just another bit... he’s not real.”

He’s screaming at the walls that keep you from him. His heart... if he even has a heart, it’s devastated. He feels so broken and tired. So very desperate for you to know that he is real, that this is real. That he really is trying to get ahold of you but the game just won’t let him do it. 

He knew that you would be okay without him. He had accepted that your time together would be fleeting and that eventually, they would have to leave. But God, if Seven didn’t want the chance to be with you.

Even if it was temporary.

All he wanted was a second.

Just a moment.

Just a minute to be genuine with you.

It hurts him. 

It hurts him like nothing has ever hurt him before. 

But, this is how it is and how it will always be. He long knew at the bottom of his heart that this was going to be the outcome he would have to face. It wasn’t something he wanted to accept but he had to do it sooner or later otherwise he would be truly miserable. 

Seven will never get the chance to let you know that he loves you. But, by God, does he love you. You’ll never know that. You’ll never know how much you meant to him. 

Because the truth of the matter is... all he is a character in a game... and that’s all he’s ever going to be to you.

Well he is flirting but when he sees that you get so well along with Jaehee

He somehow gets the idea that you like her her more then just as friend

You just seem so close and she is really a great person too

So somehow it makes sense to him that you fell for her

He is certain you are dating when you go to Jaehee on a few evenings

You just go to watch DVD´s -with Zen in it-

Turns out you and Jaehee are both huge musical fans so you become close friends

So Zen is happy for you to be with Jaehee but he is sad since its not him – Zen in a nutshell-

He does not talk to you over his assumption so its a bit strange that he starts pulling his flirty attitude back.

Zen would never hit on you when you are with someone else

You get quite sad that he moves back from you but you think you might did something wrong or he just sees you as a friend after all

So you ask Jaehee about whats up with that

She tells you you defiantly made him not mad but maybe he figured that being to close to you is not good for his carrier after all

That makes sense to you but it also breaks your heart since you really fallen for Zen

Jaehee actual became such a close friend at this point she knows you would never hurt Zen

You genuine care for him so she decides to ask Zen what he really feels for you.

In worst case Jaehee will be their for you in best case Zen might has feelings for you too.

So she calls Zen and strait out asks him

He try's to avoid a direct answer but then admits that he has feelings but he knows that you like Jaehee so he not wants to get in between of that

After Jaehee wonders how he came to that conclusion she tells him that there is nothing but friendship between you two.

In fact they became friends because they both like Zen just in different ways

Well now Zen feels like an idiot you are not a couple with Jaehee and he really wonders why his mind got so wild about this

And wait what Jaehee means with likening him in different ways ?

Now he has to stop being an idiot and just ask you

So he calls you and tells you that he was quite cold to you lately and that he is sorry he did not mean to hurt you -Jaehee basically yelled at him for that-

Of course you forgive him and push it to some stress but he admits it was because h thought that you had feelings for Jaehee

It makes you laugh since its impossible to fall in love with someone else

Good wait someone else does that mean – Yes Zen

So you fell for him , he fell for you and everything works out

Yoosung

Since he has no clue about love , I mean he had a crush before but he never had a date

So he has no real insight in peoples hearts

He is very nervous when he figures that he has all those feeling for you it takes him a bit to sort his feelings out

At the time he knows that he has a deep crush on you he notices that you became quite close with 707

He thinks you like him more I mean 707 has so much fun with you

You always seem to joke with him and laugh you never prank Yoosung but that's probably because you are so nice to everyone

To him you are so awesome and perfect -He gets sidetracked to easy-

It looks like you are flirting with 707 to him and he is no one to steal someone away so he keeps his feelings to him

Its clear  that Yoosung is unexperienced and shy so he never really flirted that much with you

He was very nice to you of course but at this rate it would go no where

You wanted to take action and decided to invite him to a gaming session

If Yoosung liked you it could turn in a date but if he doesn´t it would not be too awkward

Plus being with Yoosung sounded like fun anyways

So he came over but since he felt like he should be not alone with you and he wanted to help you to get closer to seven he brought seven along with him

707 thought he was just playing wing man for Yoosung and that is why he agreed on this

To him it was clear that you liked each other you both just did not notice it yet

You thought he brought Seven along because he was more comfortable that way and you figured it might had been better to go to have a coffee instead

Still you have fun with both of them so its not that bad you feel like you getting closer with Yoosung too

Its quite strange how he avoids being alone with you , maybe he is embarrassed or maybe he does not like you at all?

The truth of course is that he is trying to bring you closer with 707 but you not really want to be alone with him

Its all quite wired for everyone at some point seven takes pity on you two and takes a opportunity while Yoosung is making you snacks.

He first asks you what you think about Yoosung and it is as he thought you like Yoosung a lot

Then he pretends to help Yoosung and drops some hints at him but Yoosung does not get it

So he changes plans and tells him that you like Yoosung

Yoosungs thinks as a friend and lowkey tells seven that he thinks you  have a crush on seven

He laughs so hard at that and tells him you are only friends you mostly just joke around and if not you end up talking about Yoosung

But of course he should not just believe Seven and just go and ask you what you think

Then he makes a cheap excuse up and leaves the two of you alone to figure it out

What you then do since its quite obvious to you what Seven does and you half hate him and half thank him

So you gather your courage and tell Yoosung what you feel about him

After the surprise on Yoosungs end -insert embarrassed Yoosung reactions here-

He confesses that he feels the same way and you both agree on having a real date next time

Jaehee

You started working at Jumins place since the payment was great and you could work with Jaehee

She might hates the work under Jumin but the payment is great and you are a hard worker but also not take sh** from Jumin

So its not really surprising that you get good along with the other coworkers and Jumin actual appreciates your honesty

Jaehee would never dare to speak up to Jumin as directly as you do you are able to tell Jumin off without offending him

Its like magic, she is impressed

Slowly but surely her feelings for you deepen you have a lot in common after all

You are also a Zen fan but you not have any deeper feelings for him so you can understand her position quite well

You also actual like taking care of the cat you like cars a lot and somehow you get along really well with Elizabeth

She is really thankful you take her but then she notices that you are actual quite close with Jumin

Could it be that you are interested in him?

I mean why would you to Jaehee he is a Robot but somehow Jumin seems to be more loose around you

Maybe you could see something in Jumin that other people didn´t

Jaehee had no idea you only made him smile with the countless pictures of his cat that you took for him

You had no feelings for Jumin but you really had fallen for Jaehee

Jaehee was of course a very slow going person and you respect that so you not pursue her

At some point its kind of frustrating Jaehee after all there is finally a person she feels like opening up to and maybe even someone she could get even closer too

Your friendship is really important to her she not wants to ruin it and she realizes she maybe took to long

Maybe you just never had deeper feelings for her what was okay even when it hurts her

She gives you all the support she can regardless

Your happiness is what matters most to her and even when she can not understand how you fell for Jumin if that is how you feel its fully fine for her

But then one evening it was after a business party you had to both dress really nice and you looked really great

Jumin was extra nice to you too you pretty much talked the whole evening just with Jumin and  it frustrated Jaehee so much she ended drinking too much

Later when she was home she logged in the messenger and let her frustration out on Zen

Zen tried to make her calm down but she really was upset over it.

You saw the whole think the next morning and called her wondering why she thinks you are liking Jumin.

Jaehee had a hangover and regrets saying those thinks you not want rumors and explain to her that Jumin was only talking about his cat the entire time

You have no feelings for Jumin whatsoever and on a whim you tell Jaehee you actual like her and that you know that she needs time

Jaehee is relived and happy and also really grateful she is happy that you understand her so well

Jumin

Everyone sees him as a cold person you somehow don´t you think he is funny person and you love his cat.

You defend him and you tell everyone that he is a nice person he thinks you are just really kind.

You are a very open and warm parson to him so he does not think you could like him more

It seems a bit strange to him that he thinks on you a lot and he always wants to call all the time.

He wants to know everything about you and then it hits him a bit later -like a week or two-

He really likes you in a romantic way

But then he sees that you talk to Yoosung -of all people- you are looking close to him

You help him with his gaming addiction and he reminds you of your younger brother – even when you might never had one- or maybe he wakes parental feelings in you who knows

You think that Yoosung needs someone to guide him the right path and since no one else seems to care you do it.

Jumin thinks Yoosung is younger then you are but maybe he is your type

He had that happen to him before so he just closes himself away from you

Jumins calls get more rare and he does not try to make jokes everyone thinks he is broken again

They already thought so after he started to open up to you so now he is either more broken or fixed again.

You think somethings bad happened so you not mention it too much even when it makes you sad

Maybe you imaged him making advances towards you, maybe you bored him in the end.

You not wanted to get hurt since you thought he maybe would be a bit brutal when he would not feel the same way

So you not told him what you feel and he not told you anything

He was extremely cold to you it quite hurt even the other told him he is mean

You just brushed it off and continued to help Yoosung with his studys

Even he noticed how the whole thing affected you but he could not really do much

He even asked Zen for advice for that only made thinks worth for you since now even Zen thought that Yoosung had feelings for you

His denying only made seven troll Yoosung hard for having a secret crush on you what kinda made you defend the poor boy

That only feeded Jumins thoughts of you being actual a couple with Yoosung a true mess

A while later  Jaehee needed some extra helpers for one of Jumins projects

So you agreed on helping you could use some extra cash

Jaehee actual never thought the rumor about you and Yoosung was true it was so clear that you where only helping him and you did

She also thought that it was the same for Jumin

You liked working with Jaehee you said how good it feel to be with an actual adult for a change

The rumors kind of affected you it was quite annoying and then you also where still puzzled why Jumin was so cold to you

Jaehee asked you if you actual like Jumin she never knew why you do but she felt that you have a interest in him

You don´t want to lie and admit you do have a crush on Jumin but he has no interest in you since he is so cold

Its a bit odd to her that you like Jumin but she is not judging you

She is a really nice person so she decides to call Jumin out on being so mean to you

He says he is not mean he just keeps his distance from you

After a bit back and forth he drops that you are dating Yoosung

-and Jaehee almost smacks her head against the wall-

She tells him no you are not liking Yoosung in a romantic way

its just something that everyone makes fun about since Yoosung asked for advice for you

Jaehee thought it was obvious to him too but apparently it was not

So then the one having a crush on someone but was not able to say anything was you ?

Who do you like then ?

Jaehee tells Jumin to just ask you if he really wants to know

So he excuses himself right away and does just that after telling you how sorry he is you agree to talk with him during a dinner

You not even need to tell Jumin that its him he figures it out now where he is actual seeing you

Yeah with him it can go either way

So you think he maybe likes you sometimes but then when you actual get close to him he pushes you away

So you are confused and you not want to push something when you don´t know what Luciel wants

You not tell him what you feel and maybe does not really know either

He knows you like him but he has no idea how much and he thinks its best for you to stay out of his life

So he is secretly a bit happy when you get along with the others they would be all much better with you then him

All you do is distract him anyways

He even tells you you should date someone you have no interest it looks like

But after a while it brothers him a bit when he sees you getting closer to Zen

Its good for you to find someone else and Zen is handsome and he is a good guy

So Zen is much better for you then he ever would be

You help the others so much it makes him happy

He is mostly nice to you but he keeps his distance and when you need help with something he is always their but he does not want to be involved with you more then that

He even trys to get Zen more involved with you since you look like you really like Zen

Zen is a honest guy and Seven is sure he developed some feelings for you too

He pretty much sets you up with  Zen to prepare the Party just so you could spend more time with him

It hurts him more then he likes to admit he images all kinds of thinks but he is telling himself its for the best

He is happy in the chat like ever even if you point out that you sense something he brushes it up with jokes

Zen of course likes helping you but he knows that you are not into him at all

He sets on being your big brother and as such he protects you from the stupidness of seven

Who is hurting you with his back and forth attitude

You try hard to not let it get to you but it does

Why do you have to fall for someone who is not into you at all ?

It sometimes just hurts and it hurts Zen that you are hurt

You work hard for the party regardless and your efforts really pay off

Its quite a great Party even when 707 had some urgent matters to handle

-aka he not wanted to see you with Zen-

In his head you two where already a couple and it was good even when it really hurt

He was sure he would get over it at least when you are happy then he could be happy about that

But the next day all just complaint how 707 was not their you sounded really upset too

After all he promised he would come and you worked so hard even when you where most understanding since you really thought it was a imported matter

But still you really had hoped to see him you thought that maybe then you could figure him out.

You where actual more sad anything what surprised Seven

After all you had Zen so you should be happy

You where of course grateful for Zens help but that was all you really wanted to see Seven

He had no idea why since again you could be with someone else then him after all you where so close with Zen

You where jokingly asking him if he is jealous he was a bit too strongly denying that

He was the one that made you work with Zen in the first place

You knew seven had so much other thinks to do Zen was nice but you rather had spend time with Seven

Zen is a good friend but nothing else after all.

You got quite angry at 707

Then he realizes how wrong he was you not like Zen in a romantic way

It is surprising to him relived about it so now he has to face the truth that he is actual really liking you

You notice how he is not as much pushing you back for some reason and so you decide its time take action

So you invite him over and he actual comes and finally thinks are moving foreward

it will take some time but eventualy he tells you how he feels
