Third Life was a war with two distinct sides
Last Life was a free for all of several alliances with a hidden Boogeyman threat
Double Life was (very bad) couples' therapy
Limited Life was children’s games on the playground
Secret Life was chaotic theatre class where everyone was trying to act while not rousing too much attention or suspicion

The Princess Bride Musical Dreamcast
The fact that with all the new broadway musicals are adaptations and NO ONE has done the Princess Bride yet is absolutely criminal, so if that were to hypothetically happen, here's my dream cast list.
Framing Device:
Grandchild: I can't really put anyone for grandchild, since I don't know many child actors, but I do think there should be a rotating cast, like they had with Mathilda on Broadway.
Grandfather: Mandy Patinkin, aka the original Inigo Montoya.
Mother: Robin Wright, aka the original Princess Buttercup.
I think it would be really sweet and fun to have two of the original movie's cast play parts in the framing device, almost like they're passing the baton of telling the story to the next cast.
Main Story:
Westly: Joshua Henry
I don't know if this is a controversial statement, but Westly is a baritone, and I think Joshua Henry would be absolutely perfect. He's charming as fuck, he's a phenomenal actor and vocalist, and he's absolutely gorgeous. Perfect leading man for a story that is about telling the best story ever.
Buttercup: Maria Bilbao
I think Buttercup would be a legit soprano, and as a big fan of Sweeney Todd and the recent revival, Maria Bilbao, who played Johanna, would be absolutely perfect for it. Just go listen to her Green Finch and Linnet Bird and you'll get it.
Inigo Montoya: Colman Domingo
Does Colman Domingo sing? I don't know. Could he act the absolute SHIT out of the confrontation between Inigo and the Six-Fingered Man? ABSOLUTELY. I have this vision of how to adapt the scene, which would also kinda translate Inigo's arc to a musical version. So in the original, the Six-Fingered Man trying anything to manipulate him, mocking him, that great "you have an overdeveloped sense of vengeance line, and Inigo is just not having it. He just keeps repeating the iconic line over and over again. In the musical, I would have the six-fingered man sing, like he's trying to get Inigo to sing with him, to give in to the performance, but Inigo won't sing, he just keeps repeating his line over and over. He refuses to conform to the typical "rising above" narrative and leave the Six-Fingered Man alive, he will be true to himself and his mission and won't let himself be distracted. Anyway, I don't know if this is a good idea, but Colman Domingo would be amazing either way.
Prince Humperdink: Aaron Tveit
I think Prince Humperdink should be the archetypal tenor boy and who is a better representation of current archetypal tenor boys on broadway than Aaron Tveit? Also he's really talented and I think he would act the shit out of this smarmy bastard role.
Count Rugen aka The Six Fingered Man: Josh Groban
I need Josh Groban on Broadway more, and I think he would do great at a quieter villain role, especially coming off a more angry and bloodthirsty role like Sweeney Todd. Also he looks a bit like the original Count Rugen, so that's a bonus.
Vizzini: Alex Brightman
I don't really have much behind this one, other than Vizzini is a weird little guy and Alex Brightman plays weird little guys really well.
Fezzik: Jason Segal
So ideally, I'd actually be able to cast an actor with gigantism to play the part, but I don't know of any, and couldn't find any while googling, so this is my backup essentially. During the lockdowns, a bunch of celebrities did The Princess Bride over zoom, and the scene with Rainn Wilson as Vizzini, Pedro Pascal as Inigo and Jason Segal as Fezzik is genuinely really great, but Jason Segal's Fezzik impression is spot-on and actually amazing. Also, we know from the Muppet Movie, How I Met Your Mother and Forgetting Sarah Marshall that he can sing so, I think he would do great.
Miracle Max and Valerie: Joey Richter and Lauren Lopez
I assume posting this to Tumblr, more people would know who Joey Richter and Lauren Lopez are than the average social media platform, but they are part of Team Starkid and Tin Can Bros and do some fantastic original musicals (please look up the Hatchetfield Trilogy and Spies Are Forever if you haven't seen them yet). They're both extremely talented performers, and also married in real life, so they would absolutely kill this.
Clergyman(Mawage guy): Brian d'Arcy James
I don't really have much of a reasoning behind this, I just think he'd do a good job.
Backups/Close Calls:
Denee Benton as Princess Buttercup
She's one of the best parts of Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, and that's saying something because that musical is (in my opinion) one of the best of all time
Pedro Pascal as Inigo Montoya
I don't know if he sings, and he would be amazing for this, but I wanted to challenge myself to think outside the most obvious choice. However, sometimes the obvious choice is a good one.
Bernadette Peters as Valerie
If the Witch from Into the Woods found love and inner peace

in a constant battle between "kai would not baby nya and lloyd cause they're his equals and just as capable as he is, if not even more" and "kai is a very protective person by nature, but especially protective over nya cause she's his sister, and he's very dependent on her since they raised each other, and especially protective over lloyd cause he's a literal child and the youngest in the team, and he got attached after he pulled him out of the volcano"

hi! what are your opinions on the td23/24 canon couples?
~Remy
THANK YOU FOR ASKING. Imma be rating this on a scale of 1-10 btw
so, I hated ripaxel at first, but then I became delusional and said that they didn’t just make out the entire time and realized that their dynamic is actually kinda nice, soooo all in all 5.7/10
Now for… priyaleb- okay, so at first I loved their dynamic, and I loved Priya, but because of how the canon treated them, I began to realize how… toxic it became? Like, in the finale Caleb is has a light panic multiple times over how Priya feels, like when he saves Julia from falling to her death, he says “Oh- Just don’t tell Priya!” He seems panicked and dare I say… scared? Idk seems unhealthy I like Caleb without Priya and I like Priya without caleb 2/10
now rajbow was technically last season but idk if your talking about s1 or 2, so I’m gonna include this one anyway. I LOVED this ship in s1 it was perfectly written and stuff, just off of s1, 10/10 but, because of how they wrote raj this season(Istg that’s not my boy) 8/10, that’s all I have to say despite this being my favorite (canon) ship.
Also, I know you probably meant just the canon ships but just for fun I’m gonna talk about my otp for this series because I love it.
MKULIA!! they are my favorite ship, they are such enemies to lovers and I love them and they’re just generally the best 10/10 would recommend (I rlly hope they become canon next season. Like AAAAAA)

You said in your list of episodes that you don’t like 4.07 and 5.04 for lots of other reasons and I’m wondering if you could say more?
Oh boy, okay, get ready for another essay.
(And again, to clarify, I love our show. I don't like to be negative and nitpick every little detail. But no show is perfect, and to me these are two of the episodes that really just missed the mark.)
4x07 Fire Fight
This one already made it onto my least favorite Chenford eps for reasons I spelled out here. But that's actually not my main beef with the episode. It's Nolan's storyline that I dislike. First of all, I've always found it to be unnecessarily depraved and gruesome. And I realize there are actually people like that in the world, and that's clearly what they were going for, but I did not enjoy watching it. They could have accomplished the same ultimate storytelling goal in a less horrifying way. Secondly, Nolan's escape is just absolutely unrealistic. I know, I know, he's the protagonist. And obviously I knew from the beginning that he was going to make it out alive, because they're not going to kill off their lead. But I honestly had zero investment in how he was going to make it out. I don't care how much adrenaline was coursing through him, I can't suspend my disbelief enough to make his escape seem remotely realistic.
5x04 The Choice
First of all, RIP Annie Wersching. I was so shocked and saddened when she passed away. She was a talented actress and such a good villain in both this show and Castle. It also explains why the storyline was wrapped up so hastily. I know they were limited in their options. That being said, I didn't like how it ended. I already talked about the Chenford of it all in my previous post (in short, there was a lack of compassion from Tim toward Lucy's trauma and a lack of closure for both of them). My main complaint about the rest of the storyline is (a) plot holes and (b) the John and Bailey of it all. Actually, part (a) goes back to the end of 5x01 when Rosalind somehow escapes across the border. Like... what??? As if the plates on that car wouldn't have been flagged??? There's absolutely no way a high profile criminal like her would have been able to cross the border in the same car she used to flee the scene, but according to Grey that's exactly what happened. And then she comes back just to torment John and end up dead? If they'd given Rosalind a terminal illness as well, it might have made sense. Like, she wanted that to be her legacy, to corrupt the incorruptible boy scout and make him live with that for the rest of his life. But since they didn't go that route, it just felt like she was inexplicably giving up. I was left with a lack of understanding and a lack of closure. Lastly, the actual way it all went down had too many unrealistic moments. Like... am I supposed to believe that Bailey and her crew showed up at that house and Bailey just happened to be the one to fall into that trap rather than any of the others? Too convenient. And for the life of me, I will never understand why Tim used an axe to try to break the glass (which was very obviously not going to break that way) when he could have just had Bailey back against the wall of the trap so he could shoot a hole in it and let it start to drain. I'm sure there are other details too that I'm not remembering, but really my overall point is that - even on a shortened timetable - there was so much potential for this storyline to come to a satisfying resolution, but that didn't happen.

okay but it’s CLEAR Marinette’s hang ups about dating stem from:
From S4, believing she cannot date because her partner could never know why she has to randomly dart off at times. the toll of being a guardian and superhero (i.e never being able to go home and vent to the person you love). it puts them in direct danger (Monarch, akumas).
Re: above, she believes from Chat Blanc that Adrien simply knew she was Ladybug and “blabbed” and it somehow caused her beloved partner in crime, Chat Noir, to become Blanc and destroy the world.
So now, the guy she’s been in love with, Adrien, is finally into her. But so much is at stake now, and she’s got these confusing feelings for Chat Noir, including, if we speculate if those dream sequences are from Jubilation, that kiss - wedding scene.
And she’s got to put being Ladybug, the Guardian, in the forefront of all of that. She can’t risk losing Adrien or Chat Noir like that. So, this is my theory as to why Marinette says “No, I do not” to Adrien regarding his love. This shit is tearing her up.
Honestly, tangentially, it reminds me of the Sailor Moon movie Black Dream Hole. Usagi wants literally nothing else to be with Mamoru, just her and him, without chibimoon. She’s captured in a dream, and Dream Mamoru is hugging her, being intimate, telling her to stop fighting and to be with him, it’s okay if Chibimoon sleeps (IIRC, dies lmao). Basically, telling her everything she ever wants to be told: she’s the most important person to him. But Usagi puts being a senshi first, and says to him sadly, “you’re just as gorgeous in my dreams.” And tears herself away.

VC Characters as breeds of dog:
Louis:
Tumblr media
Louis is most definitely a Standard Poodle as, like a Poodle, he is highly intelligent. Poodles also rank 2nd out of 130 breeds in 'working and obedience intelligence', and require a lot of intellectual activities, which reminds me quite a bit of Louis. They can be shy and/or sharp which is considered a fault in Poodles. Lastly, like Poodles, Louis isn't particularly aggressive or territorial and is very protective of his families and gets on well with children. Also, Poodles kinda give me pretentious, snooty vibes and are pretty, like Louis.
Lestat:
Tumblr media
Lestat is a simple Golden Retriever. They're both friendly, love people and people love them, energetic and confident. They both give off dumb-ass energy and not a single thought passes through that head. Not a braincell in sight. They're here for the vibes and the vibes only. Lestat and Golden Retrievers are both generally very sociable, fun loving, happy go lucky dudes.
Claudia:
Tumblr media
Claudia is obviously (to me) a Chihuahua. Need I say more. Small but fiesty. Cute but scary. Lots of aggression in such a small body. I wouldn't want to fuck with either of these small devils.
Amadeo/Armand:
Tumblr media
Armand is an English Springer Spaniel as, quite simply, they have a similar appearance. Amadeo specifically is very reminiscent of Springers to me, because they're both friendly, quick to learn/obey as well as being eager to please. Like Springers, Armand is attentive and alert, making him good at hunting. They tend to stick to one person after choosing them as their 'favourite'. Springers and Armand shouldn't be left to their own devices for too long, otherwise they can become mischievous and destructive out of boredom.
Marius:
Tumblr media
Marius is an Afghan Hound as they can both be aloof, and dignified, however are 'profoundly loyal'. Afghan Hounds are also one of the oldest dog breeds, and Marius being a 2,000 year old vampire just works in that regard. They both have a similar look too.
Daniel:
Tumblr media
Daniel is an Austrialian Shepherd. They are loyal, adaptive and playfull. They are also both hardworking and get on with whatever task they have.
Pandora:
Tumblr media
Pandora is a Sheltie due to their loyalty, affection and have a tendency to be reserved at times and can be gentle.
Nicolas:
Tumblr media
Nicki is a Doberman because they're intelligent, confident and needs someone with high commitment to take care of them. They are known to be aggressive, especially when threatened/in danger.
Gabrielle:
Tumblr media
Gabrielle is an Anatolian Shepherd. They are independent, bold and confident. Both Anatolians and Gabrielle have a tendency to roam alone and aren't overly affectionate or playful.
Khayman:
Tumblr media
Khayman is a Labrador. Both Khayman and labradors are friendly, even tempered, kind, trusting and gentle. Honestly they're just here for good vibes and making friends.

Do you think that if Grace would have stayed alive, Tommy would’ve stayed with her?
no. i think that like with everything else, he would’ve gotten bored and found a way to sabotage his marriage. it would’ve been easy too, seeing as their relationship seemingly had no substance aside from them having a child together and finding each other fuckable.
i almost wish it would’ve worked out that way, where grace stayed alive to see the disintegration of her marriage and fought to save it. maybe through that she could’ve been given the chance to develop not only a personality but a reason to root for her. she had such potential to be an interesting and likable character but it’s like the writers went out of their way to make her unlikable and two-dimensional, and then they killed her dgsksk 💀

possible hot take but I think in The Wish we should’ve gotten vamp!Cordy after she was bitten and then she should’ve been allowed to stake Xander and Willow and/or fight Buffy
Even if Buffy wound up staking her, I still think it would’ve worked super well in bringing the idea of Cordelia lashing out in hurt and blaming Buffy for what Xander did to fruition because she actually gets to have that physical confrontation with those who wronged her and even if she is evil, it would be kind of cathartic in a way. Plus, I know wishverse was subverting expectations and all that stuff but it widely sucks imo that in an ep that starts with a focus on Cordelia’s pain and how everything (being cheated on, impaled, etc) is effecting her winds up a) killing her off and b) dragging her for being hurt in the first place (there are multiple times where people call her stupid or ditzy because of her making that wish). Also, I just think we should’ve gotten vamp!Cordy at least once in the show’s run. As a treat

Candy pop's creator is queerphobic and sexually harassed a trans creator. Nathan the no body's creator is friends with and supports candy pop's creator. I cant remember the creator names but I remember seeing it all happen also candy pop's creator posts queerphobic things on her dA and has for years. The fandom is filled with bad creators 😢
I vaguely remember Nathan the Nobody (don't know much about the character or the creator tbh) - and Candy Pop.... I mean I just saw him as another LJ. After a certain point, I kind of stopped keeping up with all the drama with the creators. I remember the LJ one specifically because it was such a largely used character.... But all I do now is ignore those characters entirely. If I don't like them or their creator I don't have to write about 'em. Eventually, they'll fade into obscurity. But yeah it pisses me off. And so many of the Creepypasta narrators on YouTube were jackasses too.
(Kind of off topic)
Another character I never understood was Jason the Toymaker. The dude looks like a Black Butler anime character. Never found him scary. But maybe I just have something against clown/clown-adjacent characters? Since he definitely had a Circus-themed look to him.
But I could go off on a tangent on all the Creepypastas/creators I don't like.

there’s a cognitive dissonance between the way people perceive Russia-Ukraine and the Palestinian genocide. While Russia and Israel are committing the same atrocities, people will condemn Russia and in the same breath praise Israel. Racism (and eurocentrism) is one hell of a drug.

okay, i saw barbie last night and it was very fun but the thing that was bugging me the whole time was the conflation (??) of real world women = barbie and real world men =ken when the kens are a marginalized minority class in barbieland?
like they make a joke near the end about how "maybe someday the kens will have as much power as women in the real world" (paraphrased) and its like, so you agree? the kens are opressed by the barbies? the only ken with a job in the whole movie is lifeguard ken afaicr so ofc the kens find out about patriarchy and see it as a liberation movement? like their treatment of the barbies under their patriarchy was absolutely wrong but eagh its kinda complicated. also understanding that makes you realize allan is kind of a bootlicker (high heel licker?) for the barbieland matriarchy. ALSO if women are supposed to be empowerd and able to be anything in barbieland why are there no masculine barbies? every barbie we see is very femme (not a bad thing fyi) so????????
tldr i liked it and had fun but looking deeper is a little confusing

Ok I just want to send a hug and an apology for ever leaving you and Transference, it's amazing!!! I just read it, some of it again, and I am wordless with admiration, feeling like I have a thousand questions but am unable to articulate them. Alone the grey Jedi teachings... Please can we talk about that, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Omg dude, DOOOD!!! Srsly no need to apologize ever! Hahaha I am so easy, like, I'm just happy you're enjoying the fic! 😭🥰💕💕💕 (But your compliments are super nice!!!!!!!)
As for Grey Jedi lore (a hot topic for some people, I know), I have LOTS of thoughts! I've watched so many video essays about this on YouTube and have become heavily influenced by this one lol. It has a few main points I really want to incorporate into Transference:
The video talks about how the Jedi live this ascetic lifestyle where they deny themselves everything (pleasure, strong emotions, love, etc), which is the exact opposite of Sith's "life in the fast lane" mentality - the video has a great quote "the Sith are willing to exchange suffering for life affirming experiences...[to get the full spectrum of life]". This includes embracing all of those ugly emotions that the Jedi swear off. Realistically, I strongly believe moderation is the way to go. If I think about my own life, I'd get bored in one situation and burnt out in the other, so Grey Jedi philosophy represents that middle ground when it comes to using the Force in a healthy, sustainable, "happy" way. From a character perspective, I think the story of Star Wars told in the Prequels (and maybe the Clone Wars show?) just really showcases how hard it was to actually follow the Jedi Code? Our main characters were so miserable because they had to keep fighting against their natural inclinations to care/love/think. Obviously, there are characters who uphold the stereotypical Jedi lifestyle impeccably (Yoda, Mace, the rest of the Council, etc.), but not every Force user feels that way (Dooku, Qui-Gon, Anakin, and especially Obi-Wan - all of his characterizations in the books are of him struggling with his feelings)! Why should they continue to deny themselves? It's like being subjugated to a school of thought that was only imposed on them just because they were born a certain way (if they weren't Force users, they would be free to love and marry and have kids without judgement).
Obviously, I do think full Sith mentality isn't healthy either, if you're constantly seeking more power, more strength, more more more, it's like an addiction that spirals. The Sith see power as the path to freedom so they can bulldoze through anything and anyone that challenges them, but in that pursuit they actually lose their rational thought sometimes to the pull of greed. On the other hand, Jedi see freedom as freedom of the mind. If you can completely separate your decisions from your desires, you've conquered the possibility of making "bad" or "wrong" choices. But emmm... yeah, who does this? I think this is a great example that shows that neither side in isolation is sustainable.
Additionally, the Sith believe that constant conflict/strife make you stronger, so they are constantly testing and pushing their limits to the extremes to ensure they are as powerful as possible (a lot of it coming from strong emotions like hate and anger, which are TOTALLY HEALTHY to express). I think it ties really nicely with this famous video about the quote that goes, “Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times” (G. Michael Hopf). I feel like the Jedi Order was kind of just going through this degenerative process during the Prequels Era - the long peace had allowed them to become kind of complacent in their use of their Force. Basically, they had established a "safe zone" of Force use with this HUGE buffer away from anything Dark Side related that kept anyone from Falling accidentally, but also restricted people from reaching their full potential. So in Transference, Obi-Wan needs to break through the "norms" established by the Jedi in order, he needs to push himself to the point of struggle, in order to prepare to train Anakin (who is just Boss level skilled). But I don't think the struggle is purely physical for Obi-Wan (as I portray it for Maul), it's more mental and spiritual for him? Specifically, how deeply he explores the Dark Side and how uncomfortable that makes him based on everything he's been taught.
This video also delves into Nietzsche's Master Slave morality (with religious themes), which is SUPER interesting. Idk if it'll make it into Transference because it's a bit sophisticated for my brain to comprehend, but essentially, the Sith align with Master morality and the Jedi align with Slave morality. Master morality being that it is the duty of the strong to rule over the weak because they need that "guidance". We can see this embodied in the structure of the Empire. On the other hand, Slave morality values things like kindness, self-sacrifice, obedience, etc., which Nietzsche argues is just what those who are not strong enough to rule have tricked themselves into thinking are good traits. AKA that the Jedi are so focused on dogma only because if people deviate or question the Code, then it'll become clear that they don't actually have control over anything. The Jedi Order according to Nietzsche would be full of conformity and suppressing talent for the sake of maintaining equilibrium within the pack (that buffer previously mentioned). Transference is about Obi-Wan showing the Council that it IS possible to step outside that established boundary and not Fall because Jedi with strong convictions are able to stick to their principles even with temptation all around them. I don't think I'm explaining it very well, but the video is great!
ANYWAYS, just my two cents on this topic in another essay for you, Wibz 😅 Hope it wasn't too much! My take is that if you incorporate ideas from both sides, life is balanced and you're not miserable. Obi-Wan will finally allow himself to be pissed about everything that happened before 😌 I'd love to shout at you anytime about Grey Jedi!!!!

So this is just my opinion (expressed solely by me) but BJ/Hawk/Peg makes so much sense.
I mean here we have BJ, who loves his wife and is repeatedly shown to love his wife - according to canon - so yeah actually I think just adding Hawkeye to the relationship would make more sense than erasing his canon love for his wife (that's not for me, but others can do it if they want and more power to them! ship and let ship!).
And at the same time, Hawk and BJ have a chemistry that I personally find undeniable, and I think they could easily be in love. But I don't want to erase BJ's love for his wife to do so. Why is it so shocking that Hawkeye - who has exchanged letters with Peg and planned an anniversary with her and has a clear investment in CANON in his best friend's marriage - could actually eventually develop feelings for her?
The options aren't "it never happens" or "they bang as soon as they get off the plane", like. I believe in a triad that develops slowly after a lot of healing and growth and eventually falls in love.
Again, these are just my opinions and I believe strongly in "ship and let ship" so you do you, and I'll do me, I just think we should follow Margaret's advice and have simple respect for each other.
