You ever think about how the ceremonial duel was Atem's funeral, how it was the only one he ever got.

He had all the people he cared about around him, all the people he'd spent the previous years knowing and growing alongside and who he'd come to love. His best friends.

There was a game, duel monster, one of his favorites. It was a good game too, a tense one with everyone on the edge of their seat. And there were tears and smiles and laughter, there was the feeling of grief and joy in equal measure surrounding him.

And Yugi. Yugi was there. The person he'd shared a body and soul with, the person he was sure would always have a piece of him still there. A grounding precense during his shaky uncertainty in the puzzle. His partner, even now. The one and only Yugi Muto. His Yugi.

And Atem wouldn't want anyone else to lead him into the end.

Andrew has a scar through his left eyebrow. It’s years old now, healed-but not fully. Pink around the edges, making it stand out against the blonde hair of his brow. A lasting mark that’s the result of a near fatal car accident.

Three stitches and a funeral later, it’s the only part of Andrew Aaron can stand to look at. Eyes instantly drawn to it anytime he looks at his brother, admitting to no one that it’s the main reason he doesn’t. Unable to stomach the truth of who his brother is etched across his face. A telltale mark that not only are they not identical, they’re not the same.

A permanent reminder that nowhere was too far for Andrew to go for him. Aaron knew deep down he would have gone to hell and back for his brother, but Andrew would have just gone to hell for him.

serizawa's either a well-renowned but elusive blogger or a reporter for a paper who follows local bands around and writes about them; he's hard to get a hold of but reigen manages to hunt him down and convince him to help make his band o' kids The Next Big Thing; also seri's really good at art so he helps out with promotional stuff; they fall in love because of course they do
