paddockgossip We have some interesting news about Charles and Y/N relationship! They both were at an event last night, but with two different people and (thanks to our insider!) we know that they didn’t talked or crossed paths, they didn’t even looked at each other! Do we know why? Maybe it was Charles’ plus one, who is, if you’ve been following their relationship, the same girl Charles was seen with back in Austria.
Trouble in paradise? We all saw the pictures of Y/N and her ex-boyfriend Andrew Garfield out and about in London just a few days ago. And now we only have this mess which seems to be following both Charles and Y/N everywhere they go.
Is this the end of a relationship that had only just begun?

Remember that just ten days ago we were telling you how we thought things weren’t good between them and were waiting for a breakup confirmation. We were wrong! Let’s hope things are okay and we can see more of Y/N paddock’s fashion in the future. All the best for them.

CHAPTER 4: Summer Break '23
The summer break had finally arrived, and Lewis couldn't contain his excitement. After a grueling first half of the season, he was ready for some time off to relax and recharge. Plans for two trips were set: one with his best mates Miles, Andrew, Louis, and Jas as well as Rorie and some of her girlfriends for a one-week cruise around Turkey, and another with his family to Colorado for relaxation and bonding time.
He missed hanging out with his boys, but he also missed his wife. Lewis wanted her to be with him in Belgium when he finished the first half of the season, but she had an interview with Bustle to prepare for, not to mention check in with Lyric and make sure everything was running smoothly at home. He was immensely proud of her for all of the opportunities that came her way, and he was certain that there was so much in store for her.
This break from racing was much needed for him, especially since his team's performance thus far had been subpar. They were struggling to keep up with their main competitor, Red Bull, and it was taking a toll on him mentally. He thought he had left all his emotions behind on the track, but they followed him even as he escaped to the Kusadasi port with his wife as they waited for their friends to arrive.
"Is everything alright?" Rorie asked, noticing the worried expression on her husband's face.
"I just can't stop thinking about the races and how we're not performing as well as we should," Lewis replied.
Rorie placed a reassuring hand on his arm. "You're still an amazing driver, Lewis. Don't let this get to you."
"I know, but I hate losing," Lewis sighed. "I want to win another championship for my team."
"Well, that's something we can work on when we get back," Rorie said with a smile. "But for now, let's enjoy our break and each other's company."
“You’re right.” Lewis nodded and leaned in for a kiss from his supportive wife. She always knew how to comfort him and put things into perspective.
“I’m always right,” giggled Rorie as he placed tender kisses along her jawline. He grumbled an indecipherable reply and the deep timbre sent shivers down her spine.
"Rorie!!" The sound of Kiara's high-pitched made Lewis groan and facepalm.
"You invited her, really baby?" he asked, irritated, as he moved away from his wife’s embrace.
"Of course I did," Rorie replied with a scoff. "KiKi is fun, and I think she has a little crush on Miles."
Lewis's eyes widened as he realized Rorie's intentions. "Please don't tell me you're trying to set them up."
"And if I am?" Rorie raised an eyebrow before striding off to greet her friend.
"Girl!" KiKi smiled widely as she took in the luxurious multi-level yacht that they were on. "I know your man got money, but this is wild! Thank you for inviting me; I bought Casamigos!"
"Yes!" cheered Rorie as she gave KiKi another hug. "I can always count on you to get the party started."
A small smirk appeared on Lewis' face. Despite her annoying demeanor, he had to give it to KiKi for bringing the fun. Whenever Rorie drank Casamigos, she turned into a bona fide freak in bed - something he definitely looked forward to.
Maybe inviting KiKi might not be bad after all, he thought. If he could get even two minutes of “special time” with Rorie, that would certain make him feel a whole lot better.
"Hey, Lew!" she spoke to him and he replied with a friendly wave. "You spent a lot of money on this yacht, my friend. I can already tell that this is going to be a trip of a lifetime."
Lewis chuckled at KiKi's comment, knowing that she was right. He had spared no expense in renting out this impressive yacht for their vacation. It was the least he could do for his closest friends and wife, who had been by his side through all of his races and training sessions.
"Something like that. How was your flight?" Lewis asked, trying to make conversation with KiKi as they waited for the rest of their friends to arrive.
"It was good," KiKi replied with a smile. "I ended up watching movies the whole time. Where's Miles fine ass at?"
Lewis rolled his eyes at KiKi's flirtatious comment. "He'll be here soon."
"I'll be surprised if you don't have him wrapped around your finger by the end of the night," Rorie teased.
KiKi rolled her eyes playfully. "Please, I already have him wrapped around my finger."
Just then, Miles, Louis, Andrew, and Jas arrived and joined them on the yacht. Miles hugged Rorie and Lewis before greeting KiKi with a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey gorgeous," he said with a charming smile. "Long time no see."
"Hey yourself, handsome," KiKi replied, batting her eyelashes flirtatiously.
The rest of Rorie's friends arrived on the yacht - Tia, Ayesha, and Britt. They were all excited to see each other and catch up. Tia and Ayesha were Rorie's closest friends from college and Britt was her childhood best friend.
As they settled into the yacht, Lewis went to check on the captain and make sure everything was in order. Meanwhile, Rorie and her friends grabbed some shots from the bar and headed to the deck.
"Can you believe it's been eight years since we graduated?" Tia exclaimed, raising her glass. "Cheers to us still being friends!"
They all clinked glasses and downed the shots.
"I can't believe we're all here together," Ayesha said with a smile. "It's like old times."
Everyone nodded in agreement, reminiscing about their college days and how much they had grown since then. Tia and Ayesha were both successful lawyers now, while Britt had pursued her love for photography and found success as a freelance photographer. KiKi had established a catering business in New York.
"Yeah, except now we're all successful women with our own careers," Britt added. "Rorie especially - Mrs. Hamilton and budding socialite."
Rorie laughed at Britt's words, feeling grateful for all the blessings in her life. She never imagined she'd end up marrying a world-renowned race car driver, but here she was, living her dream.
"Speaking of which," Rorie said, eyeing KiKi slyly. "What about you, KiKi? When are you going to settle down?"
KiKi rolled her eyes and took another sip of her drink. "I'm living my best life as a single woman," she replied with a smirk.
"She's too busy chasing after every hot guy she sees," Miles chimed in, earning a playful slap from KiKi.
"Funny coming from the one who slid into my DMs less than a day ago," KiKi retorted, causing everyone to fall silent with their jaws hanging open in surprise.
Lewis muttered under his breath, "Wow," and shot a telling look towards his best friend.
The group burst into laughter at Miles's expense and he playfully pretended to be offended.
"Hey, I have a reputation to uphold," he joked. "But in all seriousness, KiKi is a catch. Any guy would be lucky to have her."
KiKi grinned, knowing that Miles was just trying to make up for his slip-up. She didn't want to waste any more time talking about relationships when they were supposed to be having fun and letting loose on the yacht.
"Enough about me," she said, grabbing another bottle of Casamigos from the bar. "Let's focus on having a good time!"
Everyone eventually settled in, deciding to change into their swimwear and take a dip in the crystal clear waters surrounding the yacht. They all jumped off the deck and into the refreshing sea, laughing and splashing each other. The yacht sailed further into the Aegean, the warm sun and gentle breeze making for a perfect day out on the water. The group relaxed on the deck, enjoying drinks and snacks while taking in the beautiful views around them.
Meanwhile, Britt was busy capturing all the beautiful moments with her camera. She wandered around the yacht, snapping photos of everyone enjoying themselves. Lewis noticed her from where he sat with Rorie.
"Britt's really talented," he commented.
"Yeah, she's always loved photography," Rorie replied.
Suddenly, KiKi stood up from where she was sitting next to Miles.
"Alright guys," she announced with a grin. "It's time for our next activity: never have I ever!"
There were groans of protest from some members of the group while others whooped with excitement. Lewis and Rorie exchanged a knowing look, already anticipating the chaos that was about to ensue.
"I'll start!" KiKi declared, throwing back her shot of tequila before proclaiming, "Never have I ever hooked up with someone on a yacht."
This immediately caught everyone's attention and they all looked around at each other, trying to gauge who had done it and who hadn't.
Miles took a shot and laughed. "Looks like you're out, KiKi."
KiKi shrugged nonchalantly. "Hey, it was a yacht party. Things happen and I'll do it again." She shot Miles a flirtatious smirk, causing him to chuckle.
"Don't start nothing you can't finish, baby,” he teased her with a suggestive wink.
"Bring it on, Daddy," responded KiKi, causing everyone to hoot with laughter.
Rorie went next, taking a gulp of her drink before declaring, "Never have I ever went skydiving."
Lewis took a shot, causing her to laugh and give him a high five.
The game continued, with each person revealing some wild or funny experience they'd had. It was now Jas' turn and he glanced around the group with a glimmer of mischief in his eyes.
"Never have I ever kissed someone of the same gender." Jas declared.
All the women took shots, laughing as they did so.
"Wait, what?" Lewis exclaimed, his eyes widening in surprise. "You've all kissed another girl?"
"Well, yeah! It's a pretty common thing," Tia replied with a shrug.
Rorie chuckled and nudged her husband. "Don't worry, babe. You're the only one for me."
Lewis grinned and pulled her in for a kiss, causing KiKi and Miles to make gagging noises.
"Okay okay, let's continue the game," Jas interjected with a laugh. "You're turn Lou."
Louis thought for a moment before saying, "Never have I ever gone skinny dipping in the middle of winter."
Everyone laughed and took shots, except for Miles who shook his head. "Why would anyone do that?"
"It was a dare from my sorority sisters in college," Ayesha explained with a grin. "I couldn't back down."
"Alright, my turn," Tia said with a mischievous glint in her eye. "Never have I ever had a one-night stand with a celebrity."
The group immediately turned to Britt who took a sip of her drink.
"Who was it?" Miles asked, already sensing that this was going to be good.
"I'm not telling," Britt replied with a sly smile.
Lewis whistled impressed. "Damn girl, you're full of surprises tonight."
Jas laughed and put an arm around Britt's shoulder. "You're definitely our wild card for this trip."
Ayesha was next, "Never have I ever tried anal sex."
The group erupted into laughter at Ayesha's unexpected declaration.
"Shit, where did that come from?" Miles asked, still laughing.
"What? It's just a question," Ayesha defended herself with a shrug.
Only Rorie and Lewis took a shot. Rorie giggled and whispered something to Lewis, causing him to laugh.
"What was that?" KiKi asked curiously.
"Just reminiscing about our honeymoon," Rorie replied with a wink.
Tia grinned mischievously, "Okay okay, let's keep playing before we all get too fucked up."
"Okay okay, my turn," Britt said eagerly. "Never have I ever had sex in a public place."
Some took shots while others shook their heads in disbelief.
"Wait, seriously? Where?" KiKi asked with wide eyes.
Britt's cheeks warmed and shrugged. "In a movie theater parking lot."
Everyone's jaw dropped at her bold confession.
"Damn girl, you're truly are wild as hell," Jas exclaimed with a laugh. "It's always the quiet ones, bro."
It was now KiKi's turn again and she turned to Rorie and Lewis with a mischievous glint in her eye.
"Never have I ever been caught having sex by someone I know," she declared.
Everyone turned to Lewis and Rorie with curiosity, wondering if they would take a shot or not. With a chuckle, Lewis lifted his glass to his mouth and downed the drink in one go. Then, he picked up his wife's glass and did the same.
"You freaky bastard," Louis said with admiration.
"Y'all gotta chill though, for real," Miles commented. "You guys gonna end up having another baby."
"What? Who caught you guys?" Britt pressed excitedly.
Lewis smirked and leaned back in his chair. "That's for me to know and for you to never find out."
"It had to be almost everyone on this yacht, though," KiKi retorted, earning her a chiding glare from Rorie. "What? Don't look at me like that, mamas. You know it's the truth. I caught y'all a few times."
"Same here!" Miles concurred, raising his hand.
"Me too," noted Jas with a laugh.
"Okay okay, let's keep playing," Tia interjected with a grin.
The game eventually came to an end as everyone was starting to feel the effects of the alcohol. They all stumbled back to their cabins, laughing and joking along the way. Once they were in their respective rooms, Rorie and Lewis cuddled with each other in bed.
"This has been a great night," Rorie said, resting her head on Lewis' shoulder.
"It has," Lewis agreed, running his hand through her hair. "Thank you for planning this. I needed a break from all the racing drama."
"Anything for my husband," Rorie replied with a smile.
“Really?”
Lewis felt a surge of love for Rorie wash over him. He knew that she always had his back, no matter what.
“Of course,” she responded, staring at him intently.
“What if I want you to take off this shirt?” he said as his finger pulled down the strap tentatively. “I don’t think you need all these clothes on, sweetheart.”
He leaned in for a kiss, but their moment was cut short by muffled moans coming from the adjoining room.
"That's probably KiKi and Miles," Rorie said, trying to hide her smirk.
"Yep, sounds like they're having a good time," Lewis replied with a smile. "I can't believe you actually set up my best friend with yours."
The moans grew louder and more enthusiastic, prompting laughter from both Lewis and Rorie as they listened to their friends' escapades.
“I thought you said that the walls were sound proof?”
Lewis shrugged at his wife. “Shit, I guess not.” His fingers roamed her bare shoulder, making their way downward to cup her breasts.
“How can you still be in the mood? The noises don’t bother you?” Rorie said, swatting his hands away.
“I can ignore it.”
“Well, I cannot,” scoffed Rorie as she turned over. “No snookie.”
“Baby…”
“Nope, it’s too awkward.”
Lewis let out a disappointed sigh as he glanced down at his semi-erect penis. It was straining against the confines of his boxers, aching for release, yet he highly doubt that will happen. This was definitely not how he planned on having the night end, and suffice to say, he was going to have a word with KiKi and Miles.
Tumblr media
The next morning, everyone woke up to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean. They all met in the dining area for breakfast, still laughing and reminiscing about the previous night's game.
"Good morning, lovebirds," KiKi teased Lewis and Rorie as they walked in holding hands.
"Shut up," Rorie blushed, playfully swatting at KiKi.
"I'm just jealous," KiKi sighed dramatically. "Miles is too tired from last night to even hold my hand."
“Must be nice,” Lewis grumbled under his breath while everyone else laughed.
They settled down at the table to eat breakfast. The mood was light and carefree as they chatted and made plans for the day.
"So what are we doing today?" Louis asked, taking a sip of his coffee.
"Well, Lewis and I were thinking we could all go out on a boat for some water activities," Rorie suggested. "We could also explore Bodrum for a bit."
"That sounds like a great idea," Tia said.
"Yeah, and then maybe we can all have a seafood lunch later?" Jas added.
"Sounds perfect to me," Britt agreed.
"Where do we go after Bodrum?" wondered KiKi.
"We have about two days in Bodrum then two days in Rhodes. From there it's Antalya for three days and we spend the rest of the time in Cappadocia," said Lewis.
The group spent the rest of the morning getting ready and packing their beach bags. Rorie and Lewis had arranged for a private boat to take them out on the water, equipped with all the necessary equipment for various water activities.
As they boarded the boat, everyone was in high spirits, excited for a day of fun and adventure. They made their way out to sea, taking in the stunning views of the turquoise water and rocky cliffs.
They took turns jet skiing and banana boating. The group spent several hours out on the water before making their way back to shore. They were all exhausted but thrilled from their day of adventure.
"That was amazing!" exclaimed Britt as they docked at Bodrum harbor.
"I haven't had that much fun in a long time," added Tia with a smile.
"We should definitely make this an annual tradition," suggested Jas.
Afterward, they explored Bodrum, taking in the sights and sounds of the beautiful coastal town. The group settled down at a nearby restaurant for lunch, enjoying the fresh seafood and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of Bodrum. As they ate and chatted, Miles approached Lewis with a serious expression. "Hey bruv, can we talk for a sec?"
Lewis nodded and followed Miles away from the rest of the group.
"I just wanted to say thank you for setting me up with KiKi," Miles said sincerely.
"It wasn't me, it was Rorie," Lewis replied with a smile. "But I'm glad it's working out."
Miles sighed and looked out at the ocean. "It's just been so long since I've been with someone and she makes me feel alive again."
Lewis could see the genuine happiness in Miles's eyes as he spoke about KiKi. He put his hand on Miles's shoulder in support.
"I'm happy for you, man," Lewis said.
Miles smiled gratefully at his friend before they headed back to join the rest of the group.
The group explored more of Bodrum, visiting local markets and souvenir shops before finishing off lounging on the yacht. Their time in Rhodes and Antalya was the same: exploring, eating amazing food, immersing themselves in activities like hiking and riding ATVs.
Tumblr media
Soon, they arrived at their final destination, and the group couldn't help but feel excited and curious about what Cappadocia had in store for them. The landscape was unlike anything they had ever seen before - a surreal mix of dusty red and white rock formations scattered across the horizon.
After a few hours on the road, they finally arrived at their hotel, an elegant cave accommodation carved into the side of one of the fairy chimneys. The rooms were luxurious and spacious, with soft lighting and plush furnishings.
"Welcome to Aza Cave Hotel, Hamilton Party," the concierge greeted with a warm smile. "Please, have some tea."
A waiter came around offering Turkish tea. Each of them took a cup and sipped slowly, savoring the rich and aromatic taste.
"This is really good!" exclaimed KiKi. "Do you guys sell this? I would love to take some back home."
"Of course, ma'am," said the concierge. "I'll make arrangements to have a selection gift box placed in your room. It contains all of our popular blends."
The group thanked the concierge and took some time to freshen up before meeting in the lobby to head to dinner at the hotel's terrace restaurant. As they made their way to the restaurant, the group couldn't help but admire the stunning view of Cappadocia at sunset. The orange and pink hues of the sky reflected off the unique rock formations, creating a magical ambiance.
Once they were seated at their table, the hotel staff brought out a delicious spread of traditional Turkish dishes - from savory kebabs and dolma to fragrant rice pilaf and mezze platters. Everyone dug in eagerly as they discussed their plans for exploring Cappadocia.
"We have an early morning start tomorrow," Rorie said as she took a sip of her wine. "We're going on a hot balloon ride."
"I can't wait!" exclaimed Britt, bouncing in her seat with excitement.
"It's going to be amazing," added Jas, grinning from ear to ear.
"How early is early though?" she wondered aloud, making everyone turn to stare blankly at her.
"What? I'm just saying what everyone is thinking," KiKi defended herself with a laugh.
"Early is early, Kiara," Miles teased, nudging her side. "Why? You need extra time for some beauty sleep?"
"I mean, yeah," nodded KiKi with a grin. "Y'all have been tiring me out. I don't think I've stayed up this late since college."
"If you're getting old, just say that, girl," joked Tia, causing KiKi to hit her playfully with a napkin.
"Never that, sweetie," she retorted, "but I need some time to relax too."
"They have a spa here, y'know?" Ayesha said. "We can hit it up later."
"Say less, girl!" KiKi grinned widely.
"I mean since the girls are gettin' their massage on, I say we hit up a game of pool after the balloon ride," suggested Jas with a sly grin.
"You think we would want to play another game with you after you just cheated during basketball?" teased Lewis, reminding everyone of how Jas had cheated during their pickup game while they were sailing to Antalya.
"Oh come on, it was all in good fun," Jas defended herself with a laugh. "But seriously, we should do something active."
"I'm down for pool," said Andrew. "Or maybe bowling? I heard there’s a bowling alley here."
"We could go for a hike tomorrow instead," Louis suggested. "I heard there are some amazing trails around here."
"That actually sounds perfect," said Miles.
"Okay, so that's settled then," concluded Lewis. "We'll go hiking tomorrow."
The group continued chatting and laughing as they enjoyed their drinks and snacks. Eventually, Rorie looked at her watch and realized it was getting late.
"Guys, as much as I'd love to stay out all night with y'all, I think I’m going to head to bed soon," she announced.
"Yeah, same here," agreed Ayesha. "We have an early start tomorrow."
"Okay, let's call it a night then," said Tia.
The group said their goodnights and headed back to their rooms. Lewis and Rorie made their way down the echoing hallway, the dim light casting long shadows across the walls. Upon entering the room, Lewis wasted no time in pulling Rorie closer to him, his eyes filled with longing. He leaned in, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss that spoke volumes of the desires burning within him. Rorie could feel the intensity of his touch, the heat of his body pressing against hers, igniting a fire deep within her soul.
Rorie gently pulled away, a look of concern in her eyes. "Lewis, we really don't have time for this," she whispered, trying to reason with him. "It's almost midnight, and we need to be well-rested for our early morning balloon ride."
"I'll be quick," he says as he plants kisses down her neck.
“You always say that,” Rorie chided as she rolled her eyes. She allowed his kisses to trail downward to that special spot on her collarbone. Rorie couldn't help but let out a small moan as Lewis continued to kiss her, his hands roaming over her body. She had to admit, she was tempted to just give in, but she knew they would regret this in the morning. “You have fifteen minutes. Can you work with that?”
Lewis grinned mischievously, his hands still roaming over Rorie's body. "I can work with anything," he replied, his voice laced with desire.

The next morning, the group gathered in the lobby of the hotel bright and early. They were all dressed comfortably for their hike and ready for a day of adventure.
Rorie noticed Lewis standing off to the side, looking a little tired.
"Did you get any sleep last night?" she asked him softly.
"Not really," he admitted with a sheepish grin as he waggled his eyebrows. "But it was worth it." He added a light slap on her ass for dramatic effect, causing Rorie rolled her eyes playfully and give him small smile.
They were greeted by the hotel staff with warm towels and fresh coffee before heading out to meet their tour guide.
"Good morning, Hamilton Party!" exclaimed the guide, a friendly man named Murat. "Are you ready for an unforgettable experience?"
The group eagerly nodded as they boarded the van that would take them to the balloon launch site. As they drove through the quiet streets of Cappadocia, Murat shared interesting facts about the region's history and culture.
They arrived at the launch site just as the sun was starting to rise. The sight of dozens of colorful balloons filling up with air against the backdrop of Cappadocia's unique landscape took everyone's breath away.
"Wow," whispered Miles in awe.
"This is going to be incredible," said Lewis with a grin.
After a safety briefing from Murat, they climbed into their designated balloon basket and took off into the sky. The feeling of weightlessness and the stunning views around them left everyone speechless.
As they glided over fairy chimneys and valleys, Murat pointed out notable landmarks and answered any questions they had. The whole experience was truly magical.
After an hour-long flight, they landed smoothly back on solid ground. Everyone clapped in excitement as they made their way back to Aza Cave Hotel for a well-deserved breakfast.
"That was absolutely amazing!" exclaimed KiKi as she dug into her plate of Turkish pastries.
"I can't believe we got to see Cappadocia from above," added Britt with a dreamy smile.
"It was definitely one for the books," said Jas with a satisfied sigh.
"Did I tell you guys how much I love y'all?" Miles said with a playful grin as he wiped crumbs off his mouth.
"You don't have to say it," KiKi replied, giving him a warm smile. "We know."
“No but seriously,” said Miles. “I love you guys for real. This has been one of the most amazing weeks of my life. I truly appreciate our friendship. To friendship!” he lifted up his cup of coffee and everyone joined with their various glasses.
“To friendship!” everyone toasted.
"I can't believe we almost didn't come here," Ayesha said with a shake of her head. "We would have missed out on so much."
"I know, right?" agreed Jas. "But I'm glad we took this trip together."
"Me too," Lewis added, putting his arm around Rorie's shoulder.
"This has been one epic adventure," Britt said with a sigh. "But now it's time to go back to reality."
"Don't remind me," KiKi groaned playfully. “I want to stay in Turkey forever.”

Days later in London......
Alexander sat in his office at The Sun, sifting through the documents that the private investigator had handed him. He couldn't believe what he was reading.
"Are you sure about this?" he asked, looking up at the PI.
"Positive," replied the PI. "I double-checked all my sources and everything adds up."
Alexander leaned back in his chair, trying to process this information. He had been tasked with finding out any secrets or questionable behaviors of the Hamilton family, and this was certainly a bombshell.
"And how did you find all of this out?" he asked the PI.
"I have my ways," replied the PI with a smirk.
Alexander nodded, still deep in thought. "Anyone else knows about this?" he asked.
"I highly doubt it," said the PI.
"Good, we’ll be the first tabloid to break the news then. Well, thank you for your work on this," he said to the PI. "I'll make sure your payment is sent over promptly."
As soon as the PI left his office, Alexander pulled out his phone and dialed his boss’ number.
"Hello?" answered his boss, David, on the other line after a few rings.
"David, it's Alexander," said Alexander in a serious tone.
"Any news?”
“Tons. You wouldn’t believe what I’ve just found out about Rorie Hamilton.”
"Well done, Alexander," said David with a hint of excitement in his voice. "This could be the story of the year."

Not so Meet-Cute
Part Two: Did we or Did we not?
Farleigh Start x Reader
a/n: This is just a thing I had in my drafts.
Word Count: 2218
Warnings: Strong language, Explicit Content
Tumblr media
You and Farleigh didn’t exactly have the meet cute you desired to have.
It was the most awkward meeting you had since secondary school and it sucked ass. India hyped you up so much about how great he was and how you could at least bed him for one night since he was just that good.
Yeah…No fucking way.
Everything went okay for the date but man, he didn’t even try. Flirted with all the girls and guys you walked past while having that park date his cousin and India prepared for the two of you. Apparently you two would click like puzzle pieces, but what did those two know about games that make you think hard. At the end of the ‘date’ you were left with two melting cones of ice cream while Farleigh had a different woman in his arms, flirting with her. A fucking twat.
After a year of getting over that disaster, you are so tired of university and the fact that you had no avenue to destress, or what common folk say sexual frustration. You needed sex!
“India, I don’t think putting me in a shirt that spills my boobs out will attract the attention you think it will.” You comment as she hands you this corset type black top with matching A-line red skirt. “Relax, love. It’s our first day back in university and you deserve to turn heads.” You huff out a sigh of defeat and just grabbed whatever it is she asked you to wear.
You put it on and felt like the air was squeezed out of you. “My! You look so gorgeous babes, I’d snag you up if I swung that way.” You rolled your eyes as she adjusted the clips behind your top, making it at least breathable. Guess you won’t be eating today.
India was right, you did get a decent amount of attention. Even got yourself to turn heads from multiple people. Damn that diet and exercise bit your mum asked you to do with her over the summer payed off well. People started to reserve seats for you that you had to fight to get the year before. They complimented your hair, your eyes, your body. Well at least you had free lunch.
Everything went well…Until a little disaster happened. It was your afternoon class and you might have had a little too much of Annabel’s vegetarian sandwich when you heard a small tear on you. You looked down and it was your top, not big enough to be of alarm though, maybe get it stitched after your classes.
It did not go as planned. It started to rip off half an hour into class and you had to slide out from the room to run to the nearest bathroom. You barged in and opened the only cubicle that was working when the whole corset ripped in the middle of your chest, exposing your boobs if you didn’t hold on to it tightly with your hands. Curse these fabrics. Your friends all had classes and you didn’t even bring your own sweater. In short, you are fucked.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck!” Your wails were silenced when you heard a crash and the sound of footsteps hurriedly coming in, followed by sounds of…Kissing? No, moaning! Fuck!
“You’re doing so good for me, now be a good boy and open that door.” That voice sounded familiar and you were not excited about it. The other person…Guy whines as he tries to open your cubicle. The fuck is up with these bastards.
“Shit it’s locked.”
“Then force it open!” The more annoying voice said as the one pulling your door tries harder. After a few annoying and grueling moments of their struggle, you opened the latch and scowled at them. “Do you fucking mind?” You said, clutching the cloth on your chest as the other guy’s eyes widened.
Holy fuck? Isn’t that Andrew? He was an apparent pussy-enjoyer and acted like that hetero straight guy. Guess the closet can be invisible.
“Oh fuck.” Andrew said as he ran out of the bathroom. You are now left with that annoying shit you were praying to be so wrong about.
“Hello, Farleigh.” Voice dripping with distaste, clutching on your top harder.
He chuckled as he looked at you. Up and down with a wolf-whistle. “You look scrumptious, darling. Least you can do after ruining my little afternoon fuck.” He smirked, leaning on the door of the cubicle. “This is the women’s bathroom you little shit or did all that disease you carry finally blind you?” You said with annoyance,  crossing your arms over your chest securely, but your struggle didn’t go unnoticed.
“Would have been a good insult if you weren’t in a bit of a situation yourself.” The sing-song voice was just adding more insult to injury. He was having a blast.
“Well at least you get to witness what nice looking tits look like.” You proudly said while you sat on the cover of the toilet, crossing one leg over the other. “What good are those tits you flaunt if no one even sucks them.”
“It’s called class, Farleigh. Bet you don’t even know the term ‘standards’. Yeah you should try that.”
“Little Andrew too low for you?” He had an amused expression, waiting for another jab.
“I guess you just take scraps now at this point. You desperate bitch.” You smiled up at him and raised your eyebrows.
It would have been a victorious moment if your stupid corset did not eventually give out. It ripped fully and loudly like it sided with Farleigh. You clutched on it for dear life, eyes full of fear when you heard Farleigh’s guffaws.
“Fuck! You know if you-you…Pffft.” He doubled over and clutched his stomach. “Shit, okay I’ll stop now. Pfft. Yeah okay I’m done.”
“Fuck off, Start!”
He collected himself and gave you a little smirk. “But…I’m your only hope at this point.”
He was fucking right. You had no choice. That evil grin on his face was slap-worthy but you wanted to go back and change without flashing the whole campus. You sighed in defeat and rolled your eyes. “Fine. Can I borrow your sweater?”
He smiled at you and looked at the spare knitted sweater hanging around his waist. “I mean…”
“Farleigh!”
“On one condition.”
You groaned, “What!”
“Well…A favor for a favor.”
This bitch! Seriously!
“Spill the fuck up or I will fuck your face up.” He gave you a challenging look before clearing his throat.
“Go to my dorm later. I need to destress.” He winked as he threw you his sweater that you quickly wore to conceal yourself. He left before you could ask more and now you owe him a favor.
Knowing Farleigh…It was a hundred percent sexual in nature.
India heard about it, minus the Farleigh part. She just assumed a desperate boy offered you his sweater and tried to shoot his shot.
You wish it was, could have been easier. You got to change into a more reasonable shirt but still kept the skirt going when India suddenly got a text from Farleigh.
“Hey babes, remember that hot american cousin Felix has?”
“…Date cheater?”
“Yeah. Well he told me to remind you about the favor.”
You rolled your eyes and stood up. “India I have somewhere I need to be.” Your best friend was confused but simply nodded her head.
You knocked on Farleigh’s door and immediately got pulled in. “What the fuck?”
“Annotate my essay.” He pulled you to his desk and gave you a pen then jumped on his bed. That was…Unexpected. He was in thinner clothes, hands occupied with a book. Said nothing else to you and read his book.
What the fuck? Okay then.
The room eventually fell silent as you worked on his paper. Imagine being in your former shitty date’s dorm, annotating a decent essay. It was crazy.
“Are you done?” He broke the silence, sitting up on his bed with a bored expression. It’s probably been an hour and surprisingly, you were done. “Yes, actually.” He wasted no time walking and leaned on the table, looking over your shoulder, checking your work.
“Wow, tits and brains? You are the package.” You rolled your eyes while you looked up at him, eventually locking eyes. “That’s it? No weird sexual favors that usually get asked around?” Farleigh chuckled.
“Would you have given me a handjob if I asked?”
“No.”
“See?” Well. He does have a point. You weren’t very discreet about disliking him. Even Felix knew about it. He squinted his eyes and then tapped your nose.
“Actually…Wanna make-out? Just bored.”
You know, if it weren’t for the lack of sex and fun, you would have never. But the curiosity and the boredom got to you too.
“Sure.” You shrugged and broke eye contact by looking down at his desk again.
“I mean, you did ruin my make-out session a few hours ago so…” You looked back at him with a scowl, his face visibly closer to yours.
He bit his lower lip, suppressing that fucking smile of his. “You know, what never min-“
Getting cut-off mid-sentence with his lips on yours was…Annoying. It was kind of an enjoyable annoying though.
He was quick to spin the chair you sat on and held on the two armrests while slowly kissing you. Soft and tender like you imagined.
He pulled you up the chair, hands snaking on the small of your back and the back of your neck, pulling you closer. The obvious size difference was a struggle, pulling you into his bed while you both traded desperate kisses.
He sat on his bed, pulling you to straddle his lap. Man this fucker really loves dragging you around like a ragdoll, but the insults can wait. Pushing away from each other didn’t even last a few seconds until one of you pulled back in.
He was so nice. So delicate. His lips were soft and his tongue, god his tongue worked wonders. He knew where you liked it and where you’d react, sliding down your bottom lip and exploring your mouth. He chuckled lowly when he could get a moan out of you, and even more so when his hands held a more sensitive part of your body. The room got degrees hotter than how it should be.
“How far are you taking this?” You asked, out of breath.
“Anything off limits?” His ragged voice, deep and velvety worked wonders on you but you had to stay vigilant. He’s still Farleigh.
“Anything down is a no-go.”
“And tits?”
“Fuck fine! Since you were so easy to insult the-“ He cut you off again with that big hand of his , massaging on your breast. It was just the right pressure to make you gasp. “Fuck.” You whined, causing you to wrap your arms around him.
All of a sudden his door burst open. “Farleigh you won’t believe this, India said Y/N  got her shirt-“ Felix looked at the two of you on Farleigh’s bed, gossip cut short.
“Damn it Felix, knock mate. This is the fifth time!” You quickly got up from his lap and fixed yourself. “Hello, Catton. What did India say?”
“T’s nothing. Carry on.” He quickly closed the door behind him and left.
“I’m going.” You said while looking for your things, Farleigh just nodded and fell back on his bed. “See you around.” He said as you closed the door.
The days after felt normal. India got the appropriate rundown of events that happened, excluding the parts that she would definitely share Felix. There were a few changes, being with Farleigh in the group. Having a bit more colorful back and forth when you are in the same space. The playful smirks and coy smile he has when his arms are wrapped around other people. Maybe let’s not forget the lingering touches he gives you when people are too occupied.
“You know, that little toy you brought is interesting.” You jolted up as Farleigh dropped on the couch, bottle of cheap wine in hand. “Don’t get too interested now, I just managed to catch that one.” The party was muffled from where you sat, only the ones that passed out or was making moves with eachother settled in the living room with the two of you. “Speaking of, where is he?”
“David?”
“Mhm?” Farleigh nodded then took a swig of his drink.
“Huh…” There was a visible look of dumbfoundedness on your face when you realized you lost your date for at least half an hour now. “Holy fuck, I just lot my ticket to shagville.”
“Oh god…Ew!” Farleigh cringed, scooting away from you. “Seriously? Shagville? The fuck are you, ninety?”
“Oh, you’d want that so bad huh?” You teased.
A comfortable silence enveloped the room. Farleigh continued to take drinks from his bottle while you lit up a joint he borrowed from you once in a while.
He blew raspberries, playing with his bottle or poking you. “So…”
“So…?”
“Wanna make-out?” He asked, voice slurring a little.
You shrugged, checked around th room for a few moments and just accepted the fact that your date is not coming back.
“Sure.” You shrugged.
He nodded and stood up pulling you with him in search of a place to fool around.

The King's Men - Chapter Eleven
Day: Saturday, February 17th Time: 5:55 AM EST
Andrew shifted around a bit until he was more comfortable and closed his eyes. Neil looked from him to the darkened screen, then turned on his side on his lumpy chair so he was facing Andrew. Andrew cracked open an eye at the noise but closed it when Neil settled down. Neil contented himself with watching Andrew instead. Andrew wasn't looking, but maybe he felt the weight of Neil's stare, because after a couple minutes he said, "Problem?" "No," Neil said, but even he heard the lie in it. "Andrew? Last summer you made me a promise. I'm asking you to break it." "No," Andrew said without hesitation. "You said you'd stick with me if I kept Kevin south, but Kevin doesn't need me anymore. He chose us over the Ravens because as a whole we're finally worth his time. There's nothing else I can give you in exchange for your protection." "I will think of something." "I don't want you to," Neil said. "I need you to let me go." "Give me one good reason," Andrew said. "If I'm hiding behind you I'm still running," Neil said. "I don't want to end the year like this. I want to stand on my own two feet. Let me do that. None of this means anything if I don't." Andrew stared at him in silence. Neil didn't know if he was weighing the truth of Neil's words or silently rejecting them. He wanted to push Andrew for a solid answer but knew it'd backfire. Andrew took his promises and his word too seriously. Convincing him to renege was going to take more than one attempt and if Neil pushed too hard Andrew would know something was wrong. Neil closed his eyes and scrunched deeper in the beanbag chair. He hoped Andrew would read it as his willingness to wait for a decision.
Art used with permission by I-Am-Weis. Thank you @i-am-weis!
*Neil does not have face scars at this point but art was too pure not to use.

Cross Country Runner Neil Josten AU
Neil Josten seemed to appear at Palmetto out of nowhere. Or that’s what his team thought anyways. From his obvious lack of knowledge about the sport to his almost nonexistent record in high school, his teammates were nearly convinced that Neil had simply appeared one day. From what his teammates knew, Neil was recruited late in his senior year, well after cross country season had passed. In fact, it was rumored that he was originally recruited for the track team but was switched due to unforeseen circumstances. Even after months of summer training the team barely knew anything about the mysterious runner.
His avoidance of the team was truly impressive. Neil managed to dodge all invitations to group hangouts. Always being well equipped with a sheepish smile and convenient excuse.
“Sorry Daniel, I would love to go out tonight but I agreed to tutor a classmate tonight. Maybe next time?”
Even his roommate barely knew a thing about his schedule. According to him, Neil was out of the dorm before he woke up and asleep before he came back.
So, the team did what any person in this situation would do. They theorized. At fist only rational explanations for their teammates strange behavior turned into bizarre stories that soon became a running joke in the team.
Neil Josten however couldn’t remain a recluse for long. With his team growing more and more mosey by the day, he found himself giving ground. Letting his attitude slip and occasionally granting his team small truths about him. Not enough to give away all his secrets but enough to sate his teams burning curiosity.
Seemingly content with what little Neil had given them, his team backed off. That was until he made the mistake of talking to Andrew Minyard, the goalie for the exy team. In Neil’s defense it wasn’t really his fault. He never wanted to go to the student athlete event but his coach had forced him to. It also want his fault that Andrew was the most interesting person there. Now Neil had to deal with not just one but two sports teams butting into his private life. And, debatably worse, Andrew Minyard had taken an interest in Neil and seemed intent on uncovering all of Neil’s secrets. Neil had a feeling this was going to be a long five years of college.
Sort of a work in progress. Not sure if I want to actually turn this into a fic but who knows.

Ace of Hearts
Happy International Asexuality Day!
Andrew Marston x Reader
Andrew is ace. He hasn’t told you yet.
The semester had come to an end almost abruptly, the cool mornings of spring turning into the early rising sun of summer in the blink of an eye. Andrew had been looking forward to the summer break, simply because it meant he had more time to spend with you, free from his responsibilities as a professor and momentarily released from the calm air of absolute composure his position required of him.
Now, with the gentle rays of sunshine streaming through his open window and falling on your beautiful face, he could allow himself to simply feel.
The book in his hands had not held his attention for a while now. Instead, he kept glancing at your peaceful expression. You looked so at ease with your head resting in his lap, eyes closed, and a content smile on your face as you lay sprawled across the sofa.
The exams these past few weeks had been stressful for you — he saw the bags under your eyes, noticed your scattered thoughts as you were unable to slow down for a moment, too caught up in the subject you needed to study — and Andrew relished that you were finally able to unwind. You deserved it. You needed it, he was sure, and it would be his pleasure to shower you with comfort and distractions and sweetness until all the residue tension left your body.
He wanted to give you everything, pour out the contents of his heart for you, and give you all his love and affection until you asked him to stop. But as he sat in his reverie, his gaze shifting from his book to your lovely expression and back again, he could not shake the nagging thought stuck in the back of his mind — the memory he had not dared to revisit.
He had stayed later than usual one evening, unwilling to leave the comfort of your arms just yet as another episode of the show you had started together played in the background. You had been less interested in it, preferring instead to trail lingering kisses over his exposed skin and capturing his lips with yours, the gentle rhythm spiking into something else.
“Is this alright?” you had asked breathily, impossibly close to him as your arms tightened around him securely, hands inching lower. Andrew had not known what to say.
From the glint in your eyes to the sudden tension between you both, your intent had been obvious, but so was his nonverbal answer. You had drawn back immediately when you felt him tense, his sharp intake of breath not the kind you had wanted to elicit.
He had excused himself soon after, taking on the short trip to his bleak apartment with a heavy heart and racing thoughts. The questions burning in your eyes had remained unanswered, the whispers of doubt and insecurities in your mind not reassured. Andrew had hated leaving you guessing, but he needed some time to reflect first. He had needed some time to think.
“I love you,” he had told you at the door, your worried gaze tearing at his heart as he could see your mind pulling you into a spiral, fearing you had overstepped irrevocably. Andrew had pulled you into a tight hug, inhaling your scent for a moment and placing a chaste kiss against your lips. “‘Doubt thou that the stars are fire’,” he had quoted, earning a small chuckle from you. His heart had felt lighter tenfold.
“Drive safely, Andrew.”
He looked at your peaceful face, basking in the sun — so content, so warm, and painfully happy — and felt a shiver run down his spine at the reminder of the icy doubt and worry he had seen in your expression that night. His heart was filled to overflowing with his love for you, so much so that sometimes it hurt to be near you from how much he adored you — never should you doubt the love he had for you.
“Darling?” Andrew asked quietly, not wanting to wake you in case you were catching up on some much-needed sleep.
You hummed in acknowledgment, keeping your eyes closed as you waited for Andrew to continue speaking.
He hesitated, nearly biting out a huff of ‘nothing’ and returning to stare blankly at the page of his book, but he stopped himself. No, he wanted to do this. He wanted to tell you. He felt like he was hiding, and he did not want to be hiding from you. But why was he suddenly so anxious? What could he possibly have to worry about with you?
Still, his heart had begun hammering in his chest, and the air in the room seemed like it was slowly seeping out, despite the open window and the summer breeze ruffling your hair in his lap. Andrew cleared his throat, allowing himself a singly shaky inhale before continuing, “I was wondering if we could talk?”
You opened your eyes tiredly, blinking against the sudden brightness before rising from his lap and leaning against his shoulder. “What about?” you asked, glancing at the book in his hands. “Want to try the Socratic method with me?”
Instead of laughing like you had expected him to, Andrew did not give so much as a chuckle before taking a steadying breath and running a hand through his hair nervously. “About that evening,” he said slowly, glancing at you briefly before fixing his eyes on the scenery outside.
For the first time, you noticed his clenched jaw and restless hands, clenching and unclenching as his fingers ran along the edges of Plato’s Republic. You sat up, now serious and fully awake. “You don’t need to tell me anything if you don't want to,” you said, trying to reassure him by placing a hand on top of his fidgeting ones.
“I know,” he whispered, eyes averting to your now-joined hands, “but I want to. It’s just— I suppose I’ve never said it out loud to someone before.”
Isaac’s face flashed before his eyes for a moment. He had never said anything, but there was an unspoken agreement between them never to escalate things too far. Andrew always wondered how Isaac could have possibly known, even before he himself found a name for it, but then again, Isaac had always been very perceptive and excellent at connecting the dots.
“Alright,” you said, beginning to play with his fingers. “Take all the time you need, then. I’ll be here whenever you’re ready.”
Andrew turned his head to look at you. A reassuring smile flashed across your face and you nuzzled against his side again, comfortable and with infinite patience. He was sure you would not leave for however long it took him to find his words. It nearly filled his heart to bursting, the warmth and love you exuded so effortlessly — the care and understanding you showed him when nearly nobody else in his life had ever bothered to before.
He had nothing to fear with you.
“I’m—” He did not want to hide from you. “I, uh—” he trailed off. Why was it so bloody hard to say out loud?
“Take your time,” you reminded him, but Andrew was growing frustrated.
It made no sense. Why were the words stuck in his throat?
He huffed, taking a shaky breath. This was like a bandaid, he just had to rip it off. He just had to blurt it out. Why was this so hard?
“I—” Goddamn it. “I’m asexual.”
The weight falling off his chest at finally managing to utter the words made him feel slightly lightheaded, but the relief was immediately overshadowed by the rising nervousness, waiting for your reaction.
Asexuality was a spectrum, of course, and there was much more to tell about how he experienced it. Andrew wanted to explain to you what it meant for him, what he would and wouldn’t feel comfortable doing, but for now, he just wanted his heart to calm down. The anticipation of your response had him biting back any further explanation.
This was enough for now.
“Thanks for telling me,” you said, lifting your head to look at him properly. Your tone was genuine, and he could see the fond smile tugging at your lips and the pride shining in your eyes. “And trusting me with that part of you,” you added, leaning in closer to touch your forehead to his.
Andrew closed his eyes, allowing his anxiety to subside. “Of course, darling,” he whispered, feeling the smile on your lips as you kissed his cheek.
“I love you,” you said, “you know this changes nothing between us, right? There’s more to a relationship than the physical aspects of it, and I love you wholeheartedly no matter what. If we never have sex, that’s fine by me. If it takes a while for you to be comfortable with it, or if you are positive towards it — it’s alright either way. I don't mind.”
“You don’t mind that—”
“No, I don’t,” you interrupted, pulling him into a tight embrace. “I promise you, I don’t.”
“I’m not sexually attracted to anyone,” he said, “Not even to you. I will never be.”
You hummed, threading your fingers through his hair until he relaxed against you. “Do you love me?” you asked, earning a scoff from Andrew.
The answer was obvious. It seemed to be engraved into his very being that he adored you beyond words. “I do,” he simply said, “you are the love of my life, darling.”
“And you are mine,” you answered, squeezing him tighter. “That’s more than enough, Andrew.”

It's September and we're in a heatwave so instead of choosing violence here's some oppressive summer gothics to match the abysmal autumn vibes
The criteria - they have to be hot and humid, they have to be gothic in nature, dark in content, and they have to at least flirt with the paranormal
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summer Sons by Lee Mandelo
This follows Andrew as he moves to a college across the country to step into his dead best friend Eddie's old life as he desperately tries to prove that he must've been murdered. Haunted, both figuratively and literally, angry and grieving, Andrew sets off on a path that leads him to question everything he ever thought he knew about himself and their history together as he fights to accept who he is, who Eddie was, and maybe tries to learn how to live without him. Fast-paced, dark, and super gay.

With an emotionally absent mother, a father with a wandering eye and a needy younger brother, Nif becomes convinced she's stumbled across her own kind of magic, before catching the attention of the strange boy across the street. Think Shirley Jackson, definitely not YA.
Dark and Shallow Lies by Ginny Myers Sain
Now, this is YA. We follow 17 year old Grey as she returns back to her tiny hometown in the Louisiana Bayou for the summer 6 months after her best friends mysterious disappearance. In a town that claims to be the 'psychic capitol of the world', someone must know something, right? Full of secrets, lies, and a boy who steps out of the forest with storm-bright eyes, this was a quick and twisty atmospheric read.

The imagery is creepy, the tone is tense, there's a hot priest, what more do you want?
Cold Moon Over Babylon by Michael McDowell
Probably the darkest book on this list, and definitely the oldest. When a young girl is brutally murdered within sight of her home, it starts a chain of events that will see a family destroyed, secrets and lies exposed, and a vengeful creature that looks almost human to rise from the river as the town that surrounds it starts to crumble. The people are unlikeable, the book is old, the content is Dark - you've been warned.
Ghost Wood Song by Erica Waters
Also YA but this time for the bisexuals. Shady Grove can call ghosts from the grave with her music, just like her daddy could, but everyone knows that only trouble comes from playing for the dead. When her brother is accused of murder, Shady decides to embrace her birthright and use any power she can to clear his name. It's sweet, it's sad, it's lyrical, and there's a little bi love triangle sprinkled in to sweeten the sorrows. It's also a debut!

To be honest after thinking about it for a bit, the decision Watcher made makes sense (In fact it wouldn't surprise me if the Try Guys do the same thing next) but I think they really fumbled the introduction to this whole service. This isn't the kind of thing they should have drop so suddenly, the whole thing with variety interview, their lack of catalogue and one the new shows that they are using to promote the platform being about a dude eating really expensive food to their audience of mostly broke college students and teenagers.
Ah, but anon, you forget that this is not a surprise for them. They have been planning this. There is a whooooole catalogue of stuff on the site right now, as we speak. New things, even, that we have never seen before.
This is also not a sudden drop! It's actually quite a soft launch across nearly two months where they shift to the streaming model from their current model. They had to tell us at some point, and personally I'm glad they gave us a month and a half to get used to things and figure out our budgets and make decisions about what months we want to subscribe for.
The coolest thing about this, I think, is that it will be real easy to subscribe for like, a couple of months at a time, and then dip, and then come back when you want to again. Just like how I do with a couple of streaming services I use to watch TV shows. I don't always wanna pay for them when the shows I watch on them aren't airing, so I drop the sub and pick it up again when the show comes back!
I also think that you misunderstand what the actual target demographic of Watcher is. Like, it's actually probably the 25-35 age range as opposed to teenagers! And, I know I personally am v excited to watch them break Adam and Andrew in with the new show as my way in to supporting the streaming service. I love me some Standrew content, and I'm so glad they have both Adam and Andrew on board.
Adam, of course, has been with them for a while now - he shot Food Files last summer with Ryan and Shane, and I have to imagine that Andrew's been along since before Christmas? They know what they wanna make, and travel content is HUGE. Worth It did massive numbers, more than Unsolved, and it's because travel stuff is a huge sector of videos. People watch because they want the escape!

Premise: with the riddle solved the pack now have to face the truth their English teacher is not who they thought she was. To find out who’s responsible for the chaos in Beacon Hills they have no choice but to confront Y/n about her identity and nature. Even if it could cost them their lives.
——————————
*tick* *tick* *tick*
Scott’s eyes were on the clock, flickering over to Stiles who wore an expression similar to his. Filled with unease and wondering if what they were about to do was a mistake. The minutes were ticking away as the school day approached its end. Glancing to Allison and Lydia in the front of the classroom he could see in their neck and shoulders how tense they were, Allison nervously chewing on the tip of her pen. All throughout the lecture none could stay focused. Not when the person teaching had a harrowing secret they were about to confront.
How would she react? Better yet, how were they going to even breach the subject.
Scott could see them fucking everything up in the blink of the eye. He couldn’t help but recall Peter’s warning from the night before. “Vampires can be hostile creatures—especially if they haven’t fed for a while. They can go maybe….weeks without drinking blood before they start to lose their control. Considering Loretta—or should I say, Y/n, has been in Beacon Hills a few months I can only assume she is getting her blood by some other means than preying on its citizens. Still, approach her with caution if you decide to confront her. If I was a 130 year old vampire who was a wealthy socialite that survived one of the most famous shipwrecks in history and was being hunted by my creator…well let’s just say I wouldn’t let you leave still breathing.”
The more the seconds ticked by the more Scott was regretting the plan. After much debate the pack wanted to get to the bottom of everything quickly and that meant confronting Miss. Andrews at school. Which was very unnerving. Discovering she was a vampire only made her more intimidating after already establishing herself as someone who came off as unapproachable. Though they had few interactions, Scott found Miss. Andrews to possess an aura that reads, ‘better to wonder in silence rather than search for answers.’ Appearing no older than the age of thirty, sometimes she’d say words or phrases that made her seem much older.
Thankfully their English section was the last period of the day. Isaac wasn’t in the class but he had Miss. Andrews that morning and kept his eyes out for the necklace, however, he was unable to tell if the woman was wearing it.
The Heart of the Ocean.
What led them to her.
If she was wearing the necklace it had to have been beneath her high collared shirt that was paired with a black blazer and dress pants. Now knowing what they know, they realized Miss. Andrews always wore clothing that was sophisticated and concealed her neck area. Whether it be a turtleneck or a collared shirt, they wondered why they hadn’t found it odd before. California was hot even in the early months of the year—especially in April as they approached summer.
Peter’s words echoed in Scott’s mind, “Vampires are cold-blooded creatures. The warm weather has little effect on them and though the glimmer acts as a camouflage to other supernatural creatures it doesn’t change their nature. They’ll be cold to the touch. Faster than the speed of sound. Stronger the older they are. And some even have little gifts that separate them from others.”
“Gifts?”
“Abilities. Very rare among their kind but those who possess them are more enhanced in every aspect than others. I’ve heard stories about one who can read minds. An old…acquaintance, of mine said he once encountered a vampire who could compel anyone to do anything for them. Let’s hope neither your killer or his little creation have any talents. Otherwise your odds of coming out of this in one piece are going to be very low.”
The hairs stood on the back of Scott’s neck when Loretta…Y/n… passed him as she walked in between the aisle of desks. It was like his senses were trying to warn him despite his others unable to detect she was not human.
“What people fail to understand about Romeo and Juliet…” Loretta moves between Lydia and Allison, missing how both girls tense up. “Is that it is not a romance despite having a prominent theme of love thorough out the play. To be considered a romance it must have what you would call, ‘a happily ever after,’…” Turning to face the class, Loretta leans her back against the desk with her arms crossed over her chest. Scott almost perches up, straining his ears to see if he could pick up movement around her neck.
Her eyes scan across the room, lingering on Scott and Stiles when they quickly look away, “Specifically for the protagonist—or protagonists in this setting. Romeo and Juliet die at the end of the play, therefore there is no happy ending. Yes, their families end up putting past their differences due to the loss of their loved ones. But the protagonists did not get to ride off into the sunset and live out their lives in peace. So the more appropriate term for the play would be a tragedy. A genre focused on human suffering and sorrowful events that happen to the protagonist. And as we have learned these past weeks, Shakespeare was known for his tragedies. Romeo and Juliet is just one of his many—Macbeth, Othello, Julius Caesar to name a few.”
There were only two minutes remaining in the class. Scott tapped his pen against the book anxiously, eyes back on the clock as Siltes sent him another look. Isaac’s scent soon filled his nostrils, indicating he was outside the door. And glancing over her shoulder, Allison gave a slight nod of, ‘it’s gonna be okay,’ to try and ease his nerves.
“Tragedies can be inspired by an array of things,” Loretta moved her arms so her hands were clasped in front of her. Again, Scott couldn’t help but listen for the rustling of jewelry. All he got was a usually steady pacing of her heart. If that even was her heart.
“Personal lives and historical events.” Lydia and Alice glance at each other as do Scott and Stiles. “They dive into the catharsis of their audience. Bringing pleasure through pain because we as humans—,” the teens share another look, “cannot help but find a sense of enjoyment in seeing the main character fail. Witness their downfall. Does that say something about us in how we view others?” The question was rhetoric, Loretta watching the students think in silence before shrugging. “That is for you to decide.”
*ring* *ring* *ring*
In a hurry students gather their belongings and make their way out the door. For the four teenagers planning to stay they are slow in their movements.
“Don’t forget tomorrow’s quiz is on Act five,” Loretta shouted lightly, pushing off from the desk only to walk around it. “Then we will begin our unit on Poe so be sure to have your textbooks with you.” As Loretta starts to erase the chalkboard the teens draw to the back door of the class to make it look like they're leaving but really they stop once Isaac enters. Then with a nod, “let’s do this,” they make their way back into the classroom.
Reaching the front row of the desks, the sound of Stiles bumping into a chair catches the woman’s attention, turning to face the group with perplexed eyes making them freeze like deer in headlights.
“Well hello,” Loretta places the eraser down, surprised to see five of her students behind her. “Wasn’t expecting you all to stay after the period ended. Everything alright?” She connects eyes with all, sensing their distress.
Scott is the first to speak, “We’re sorry to bother you when you’re busy, Miss. Andrews,” he felt his heart pick when he nearly addressed her by her real name. “We were just wondering if you could help us with something.”
“Is it about tomorrow’s quiz?” Loretta is calm, collected, and shows no signs of nervousness. “Because unfortunately if that’s the case I can’t—.”
“It’s about our history project,” Allison cuts in, causing the boys to give her a look that read ‘what are you doing?’ She gives a smile when Loretta tilts her head.
“Are you asking me to read over your report? Check for any grammatical errors? That I can do for you if you have a rough draft.”
“No,” Lydia rubs her neck, watching Loretta take a piece of chalk in her hand while bidding a glance at her lesson plans on the desk. Lydia licks her bottom lip, “more like we would like some advice if we have the facts right on it.” Loretta makes a sound between a laugh and scoff.
“I think you’re better suited asking your history teacher,” she raises her brow at them. Her heartbeat is steady against Scott’s ears, the werewolf catching Isaac’s eyes to see he heard the same. “I’m afraid my knowledge on whatever the topic of your project is will be limited compared to your teacher.”
“Actually,” Scott swallows, “We think you’re the best person there is to help us.”
Lorretta makes another sound, smirking lightly like the teens were humoring her, “Oh really?” Chalk in hand she faces the board to begin writing Friday’s plan. “Why is that?”
“Because it’s about Titanic.”
Instantly they watch her hand stop mid air, clutching the chalk in a grip they’re afraid it was going to snap in half. In fact, it did break in half. Not even two seconds after the words leave Scott’s mouth, however, her hand remains in the air. A slight tremor replacing the chalk as it clunks to the tile floor.
Silence fills the room as all time stops. Loretta was paralyzed where she stood. Back facing the group where they couldn’t see her face. But considering she was frozen like a statue, it wasn’t difficult to assume she had the same expression they did when they saw her picture the night before.
Scott takes a hesitant step closer, tone cautions as he mutters, “Y/n.” Her low gasp fills his ears, physically reacting to the name. Behind him the others tense, Isaac consciously moving closer to Scott as Stiles pushes the girls back. They all wait for her next move.
“Y/n—.”
Slowly her hand comes down, head dipping slightly, “How do you know?” The question sounded like Y/n knew this day would come. That in a town where supernatural beings resided she was bound to be discovered but hoped it would be some time before she did.
The teens couldn’t hold back the shudder when Y/n faced them. Her eyes lacked any color. Pitch black like onyx and void of friendlessness. It made them wonder if she was wearing contacts or the glimmer had seeped away to show what her real eyes were. They prayed for the former, for Peter had mentioned when a vampire was hungry their eyes would darken.
Her jaw clenched and Scott instantly straightened to prepare for any sudden attack. She was stronger than him—he knew just from Peter’s warnings. While he had Isaac and Allison armed with a silver dagger, they were no match for a 130 year old vampire who could move faster than they could blink. And if she had abilities….they were straight fucked.
Instead Y/n’s voice went low, repeating her question, “How. Do. You. Know.”
Scott gulped, finding his voice, “Stiles,” with his hand out he motioned for riddle. Stiles fumbles through the front pocket of his backpack, finding the paper and passing it over as Y/n stares the entire time. Carefully the alpha drops the riddle onto the desk, using his fingers to slide it towards her and watches as she picks it up. They are silent the entire time Y/n reads the written words, her mouth tightening as though she recognized the handwriting the moment her eyes met the first line.
Her eyes then close when she finishes the final verse. “He’s found me,” she doesn’t need their confirmation, “it’s been him all along.” Him all along referencing the murders. “I should’ve known.” Her eyes open and lock on Scott, “When did he leave you this?”
“Last night.”
“Where.”
“U-uh Derek Hale’s loft.”
“Hale,” Y/n whispers, the name familiar on her tongue. “Thalia’s son.”
“You know them?” Stiles was flabbergasted. “Y-you know what they are.”
“Of course I do,” Y/n sounded offended, causing the teen to wince. “I’ve been alive 130 years. I knew of the Hale pack when Thalia's grandparents were the leaders.” There’s a pause as her gaze moves to Scott, “And I know Scott is an Alpha. Isaac is a beta. Allison is a hunter—part of the renowned Argent family,” there was a hint of distaste behind Y/n’s tone causing Allison to stiffen. Y/n rests her eyes on the redhead before ending with Siles, “and Lydia is a banshee. But you are the only human, Mr. Stilinski. Which might I say is quite the surprise.”
Stiles scratches his neck, “R-really?”
“Yes. Usually humans don’t last long with supernaturals. Would’ve thought you’d be a beta by now—seeing that your best friend is an alpha.” Seeing his friends become uncomfortable with the assumption, Scott switches the subject.
“Next week is the anniversary of Titanic sinking,” her expression instantly changed. “You were there.”
“I was,” it came no louder than a whisper, a distant look within her eye indicating Titanic was still a painful memory for the woman. “And you know then—from this,” she holds up the riddle, “What I am? What I do?”
Each of them nod, “we do.” They still couldn’t wrap their heads around it. That their English teacher, of all people, was an immortal who was aboard Titanic.
“And you’re not running for the hills,” she hums, not sure whether to find them idiotic or courageous. “How interesting.”
“Well when you live in a town like Beacon Hills…you try to get used to it,” Stiles shrugs, a little terrified when Y/n’s expression reads that of, ‘you think you’ve seen it all? You have no idea what else is out there.’
“This is how we found you….” Lydia removes the printed article with the picture of Y/n wearing the necklace. Handing it to the woman, Lydia sees her face soften, eyes lingering on the pictures of her with Theodore and Benjamin.
“Forgot this existed honestly,” Y/n mutters, finger brushing over the image. “It’s the only picture we ever took as a family. And this one,” she points to the one of only her, “this was the first and last time I had a portrait done.” A hand comes up to her neck area, all eyes following the movement where they watch her remove the Heart of the Ocean from beneath the material. It was more exquisite in person than they imagined. A stunning blue diamond in the shape of a heart surrounded by white diamonds and all along the chain.
No wonder she kept it hidden. Anyone would’ve been drawn by the beauty of the jewelry if they were to see it. Then of course there was the tiny fact it was worth 350 million dollars and the link to her past.
Y/n lets out a pained chuckle, “I’m impressed you managed to piece it together. So quickly might I add.” Her finger runs along the surface of the diamond, “but then again, Heart of the Ocean is not something you hear everyday.”
“It’s the source of your glimmer, isn’t it?”
Y/n narrows her eyes at Scott’s question, “How do you know about the glimmer?”
Stiles is the one to answer, “Derek’s uncle seems to know everything about supernatural creatures. He was the one who figured out you and your creator were vampires. Then he explained how you were able to pass as human—why they wouldn’t be able to pick up on your scent.”
“He said vampires will sometimes wear enchanted jewelry,” Allison’s gaze went back to the necklace, flicking back to Y/n who had straightened her posture, “That Druid’s can make it so you’re not affected by the sun and give off a human scent. He suspected the Heart of the Ocean was it for you.”
Once again Y/n appeared impressed, “well he was right. Which is unfortunate for me,” she mutters almost annoyed, eyes going back to reread the riddle. Scott leans more against the desk.
“We need to know who is doing this, Y/n—Loretta, if that’s what you prefer,” he corrects when her hand flexes. “And why. He gave us this riddle to find you and now that we have we have no idea what’s gonna happen next. Do you have any clue why he’s doing this?”
Y/n let out a loud exhale—prompting Scott to remember it was for show since vampires didn’t need to breathe. Having to put up the facade of being human for so long likely had the mannerisms come naturea. The riddle drops onto the table. “His name is Sebastian Lavigne. Don’t bother trying to find him on the records of passengers aboard that night—,” Stiles’ hand pauses as he jots down the name. “Sebastian didn’t have a ticket. He was a stowaway who snuck aboard when the ship docked in France. Disguised himself as a crew member so he wouldn’t get caught.” She paused to sigh again, “Quite frankly I’m not even sure if that’s his real name—he’s likely going by another alias.”
“Kinda like you?”
Y/n made a face at Stiles’s question, but answered nonetheless. “If you haven’t noticed, Mr. Stilinski, I do not age. If we stay in a place too long people start to suspect, therefore we have to move consistently and with that comes an identity change. But I always knew him by Sebastian though to the public he went by a different name. And so did I,” she glances at photos of her. “I couldn’t go by my real name after Titanic because of who my family was and everyone thought I was dead. Then of course the fact I was now a blood-sucking creature.
“Sebastian is a deceitful man. And this riddle—,” a finger aggressively hits the paper a few times, “is just one of his many games. He knows exactly where I am and only did this to mess with you. Probably because he knows you’re onto him. He wanted you to figure out what he was. Leading you to me…it was to warn me he’s coming.”
Lydia tenses, feeling a wave of dread course through her, “why is wanting to find you?” Y/n crosses her arms over her chest, glaring at the floor.
“Because he’s angry I left him. That I broke away from him. Vampires are usually nomadic—hardly ever join up together. Kinda like how werewolves have packs to make them stronger, well….a group of vampires would decimate anything that stood in their way. Sebastian’s a man who desires power,” Y/n rubs her hand on her forearm. “And together we were powerful—especially with our gifts.”
“Gifts?” Scott’s heart skipped, thinking of Peter’s warning. “You both have gifts?”
“Yes,” Y/n didn’t sound proud of it. “Sebastian can compel you to do anything—you’ve heard of him,” Y/n’s shoulders slumped at their reaction.
Stiles flexes his hand, unease in his voice, “Peter told us about a vampire like that. Said he knew someone who encountered them. Is he the only one who can?” Y/n’s nod of confirmation only increases their anxiety.
“As far as I know, yes he is. His gift is powerful, but it only works close range. Meaning in order to be affected you have to be directly in front of him. Sebastian has to stare into one’s eyes to compel them,” Y/n glances to her feet again, “but once he does they have no choice but to do what he says. And combined with mine…..” she shudders, making them frown. “No one could stand a chance against us.”
“What can you do?” Allison asks, a little unsure if she even wanted to know.
“Make you see anything I want. Whether it be tapping into your memory or my own, I can conjure illusions. Illusions derived from your greatest fear causing you to become incapacitated,” everyone’s demeanor became that of concern. “As you can imagine it came in handy when traveling with Sebastian—especially against our enemies,” Y/n comes around the desk so she’s closer to the group, “or more like his enemies since it was always him who had to instigate conflict.”
Lydia’s eyes draw in suspicion, “Why’d you leave him?” It was the question everyone wanted the answer to. And Y/n didn’t appear happy to answer it.
“He’d been keeping things from me. During my time with Sebastian he liked to isolate me—keep me from interacting with others of our kind. He didn’t want me to know I could feed without preying on humans. Or about glimmer which is why I spent most of my days locked in doors and only came out at night. He kept me from my son,” her lips tightened, “I understood why at the time…but then I found out his motives.”
The air thickened in the classroom.
“Things that could have made my fate turn out different than what it was,” her voice turned cold, eyes darkening even more. “Yes, he pulled me from the water that night…but he didn’t have to turn me into this to save me. There was another way and he chose to turn me for what I was worth to him. So when I found out decades later the truth—that he had turned me for his own selfish gain. Robbing me of the life I could have had with my son and family…”
Y/n’s hand moves to the jewelry on her neck, “I found the closest Druid I could find and had them enchant this. That way he’d lose my scent and be unable to track me.” Her hand comes back down with a sigh, “But somehow he always manages to be a step ahead of things.”
“How long ago did you escape him?” Scott wonders aloud.
“Forty years ago.”
Stiles’s jaw drops, “He’s been hunting you for four decades?”
“Likely so. With me he was more powerful. With me he was more rich,” Y/n explained, tone bitter with each word. “Shortly after we returned to New York he compelled me into robbing my own home. The amount we stole still hasn’t run dry—at least not for me,” a tinge of a smirk indicated Y/n left him with nothing when she escaped. “So I wouldn’t put it past him for devoting this many years to find me. But it’s not to get me into his good graces, no, he wants to punish me. And the best way to punish me is to play games like this,” lightning fast her hand grasps the riddle and crutches it between her fingers. “To cause chaos and hurt innocent people because he knows how much I hated it when we did. The murders. Leaving you this riddle. He won’t stop even after he’s got what he wants.”
Scott’s shoulders drop slightly, “And what does he want?”
“To kill me. Scott,” Y/n’s words send a shiver along his body. “I’ve made a life of myself without him—one where I try everyday to make up for the things I did with him. Preying on humans. Torturing the minds of those Sebastian hated. He wants me to feel that shame and regret before he finishes the job. Because that’s what he does, however, now that he’s brought you all into his game there’s not going to be an end until he’s satisfied. Once he’s through with me you will become his prime source of entertainment. Or, he’ll see you as a benefit and want to corrupt you. Just like he did to me.”
Silence fills the room as the teens take in the new information. All deep in thought wondering what to do or say next. The reality of Sebastian’s cruel nature and games proves beyond their expertise. They weren’t sure exactly how to go about it. Finding Y/n was the first step, but from what she’s told them it would not be enough.
He’ll still kill. He might even target them next—especially if they refuse whatever offer he could be planning. Y/n didn’t have to go into detail that Scott’s status as a True Alpha with a pack of unlikely allies would be something Sebastian would want to control.
And with his gift of compelling….
“We need to know what he looks like,” Scott’s the first to speak. Determination fills his gaze, “He’s got the advantage right now—a-and if he’s glimmered like you then he’s probably been passing as human.” He turns to Y/n, pleading with her for help. “You said you can show illusions. Ones that can be from your memory—can you show one with him?” The sound she responds with is one of defeat.
“He compelled me, shortly after he turned me, to erase his image from my memory because he was paranoid about us running into vampires who could read minds or Druids who could make me tap into my subconscious.” Everyone deflated at the news, but then Y/n perked up causing them to do the same. “But….he when did, he only said, ‘from this moment on.’
Scott took a step closer, eyes full of hope, “What does that mean?”
“It means I can show you,” Y/n’s voice is low and tainted with slight dread. “I can show you the night he turned me. The night Titanic sank.”
Later that evening the pack gathered at Deaton’s clinic. It was just after sunset, around 8pm and some were starting to become impatient.
“Is she coming?” Peter grunted from where he stood leaning against a wall. “Or was this all a distraction.”
“She’s gonna be here,” Scott insisted, eyes narrowed slightly. Truth be told he was starting to worry. Y/n had promised she’d be at the clinic by nightfall but had yet to show.
“Well the clock is ticking,” Stiles fiddled with his fingers nervously.
Allison looks at the man beside her, who was checking to see if his gun was loaded with the proper bullets. “You know you didn’t have to come, dad.” Chris raises a brow, putting the safety on and placing the weapon back in its holster.
“And leave you and your friends alone with a gifted vampire who’s the reasons a psychotic one is causing hell around town? Not a chance.”
“Have you ever hunted one before?” Her voice drops to a whisper, though it doesn’t do much for those with enhanced hearing. Derek, Peter, Scott, and Isaac heard the question loud and clear.
Chris shakes his head, “No. They’re rare and not many are in America—but your great-grandfather came into contact with one in the fifties. Left us with what to do if we ever dealt with one.”
Allison gives her father a look of warning, “You can’t hurt her, dad.”
“If she gives me a reason to, I will.”
“She won’t,” she presses, aware Scott and Derek had their eyes on them. The former looked anxious.
“You don’t know how unpredictable and manipulative vampires are, Allison. None of you do.”
“She’s been in Beacon Hills for months. We asked her how she gets her blood and she said she’s been taking bags from the ER—not feeding on the town’s people,” the teen pleads, surprised with herself for defending Y/n so easily. Maybe it was the fact the vampire had been robbed of her life that made Allison sympathize. Or because she could feel the anger and fury Y/n had for her creator that she believed Y/n would stop at nothing to take him down. “And she hasn’t given any reason for us to believe she’s been working with Sebastian. She hates him, dad.” Chris doesn’t appear convinced.
“She was with him for sixty years—.”
“And she’s been without him for forty,” Allison cuts him off, promptly ending the argument. Another minute passes before all freeze at the sound of Deaton’s door chime ringing. Motioning with a hand, the doctor enters the lobby where he is met with a woman wearing a tan trench coat and boots. She spun around when she heard him approach, allowing Deaton to see the stunning jewelry around her neck. Instantly he felt the magic running through it.
“You’re the Druid,” were the first words from her mouth. “Scott told me about you.” Deaton offers a small smile.
“You must be Y/n,” when she visibly reacted to the name he apologized, “I’m sorry, would you prefer to be called—.” Her hand lifts to stop him.
“No, no. It’s fine—I’m just getting used to hearing that name again. It’s been so long since anyone other than ....” She trails off, not wanting to say his name. Deaton understands with a light nod, moving to open the gate.
“You don’t have to explain. Please, come in.”
“Did Scott inform you what to prepare?” She asks as she passes, receiving a nod from the man.
“Yes. I’m quite familiar with its effects—but I made sure to not make it too strong.” Leading Y/n into the back room, she stills at the sight of those she didn’t recognize, namely the man beside Allison and the two leaning against the wall. Everyone straightens when she arrives and her eyes go straight to Scott.
“You didn’t say we’d have guests.” Her tone is weary, making Scott move closer to show her it was okay.
“That’s Derek Hale and his uncle Peter,” a finger points to the two, glaring when he notices Peter’s eyes linger on Y/n’s figure. While he couldn’t blame him given Y/n’s striking beauty there were more important matters at the moment. “He’s the one who helped us figure out what you were.” He hears the woman make a sound similar to ‘hmph’, causing Peter to smirk and give a mock wave. Scott rolls his eyes, motioning to Chris, “And that’s Allison’s father, Chris Argent.”
Y/n’s expression tightens, appearing slightly uncomfortable with the lineup. Four werewolves, two hunters, a Druid, and a banshee? Vampires were strong creatures but even they could become intimidated. “Quite the party we have going on then.”
Stiles clears his throat to appease the tension, “uh what took you so long?” The question snaps Y/n out of the intense staring contest going on between her, Peter, and Chris. She removes her gloves to place them in her pocket.
“Well considering I’ve been out of practice I needed a pick me up to ensure my power would be at its best,” lips curl up, almost menacing which has Chris inch his hand closer to the holster. She sees the gesture and raises a brow in challenge, “Don’t worry, hunter. I didn’t sink my teeth into anything other than a donation bag.” She pays no mind to his glare, instead removing the Heart of the Ocean from her neck.
When Y/n does this a new smell enters the room right as the unusual steady pacing of her heart stops beating. The aroma is overbearing with vanilla and lavender—even for those without an enhanced sense of smell. For the werewolves, they perked up as they had never smelled anything so delightful.
“You smell that?” Y/n closes her eyes as she drops the necklace into the other pocket.
“Yeah.” Scott takes another waff of the scent, turning to her only to draw back in surprise when she opens her eyes to reveal deep red eyes replacing the color they once were. The lights from above almost made them glow. “Woah.” From behind Scott the others react to the changes of Y/n’s appearance.
Stiles and Isaac had to do a double take to make sure what he was seeing was real. Lydia and Allison shared a glance, both shuddering when Y/n made eye contact with them. Chris straightens his posture again, only amusing the vampire and Peter appears rather intrigued.
“Vampires have to lure their prey somehow,” She starts to explain. “It’s stronger for you wolves, but even you who are not are drawn by it. Makes you want to get closer, huh?” Y/n steps away, moving towards Deaton who reappears after going to the back closet to retrieve an object resembling a goblet.
“I can’t hear your heart anymore,” Scott’s tone is laced with confusion at the sudden decrease of heartbeats in the room.
“You never did. It was an illusion from the glimmer—so any creature I come into contact with would think I’m human. My heart stopped the night I turned,” the smirk she wore fell to a tight frown, “it won’t ever beat again.”
An eerie silence fills the room, her words lingering in the air. No doubt causing suspicion now that they were aware Y/n could lie and they would have no way of knowing. She could’ve been lying about everything honestly. Now they were left to wonder if any of what she said before was true.
But why would she lie? She’s made it awfully clear of her resentment for Sebastian.
The attention goes to Y/n as she removes the scalpel from Deaton’s tray and raises it to her palm. “W-what—what are you doing?” Stiles nearly gags when the skin breaks and a dark liquid like blood flows from the wound. It spills into the goblet, where a smell that could only be described as death replaces the once vanilla aroma. Deaton begins stirring the substance with a spoon while Y/n explains.
“As I’ve mentioned…” The cut disappeared without a trace not a second after Y/n lifted her hand away from the goblet. “I haven't used my power in ages—and while I fed earlier it may not be enough for it to be at its full potential. So to do this I need to remove any mental barriers from your mind.”
“And we have to drink your blood for it to work,” Peter rolls his eyes at how ironic it sounds, “how fitting.”
Y/n narrows her eyes at the man, “If you’re worried about it becoming a vampire you need not to worry. There’s no venom—that only comes from a bite. Sound familiar?” The air becomes thick and Scott moves between the two when Peter's eyes flash blue.
“What’s it going to do, Y/n?”
The vampire takes the goblet from Deaton, passing it to the teenager first, “Open your mind. To do so my blood is mixed with decade old sap from the Nematon and a rare form of wolfsbane. You’ll feel some discomfort,” she points out when all the wolves instantly become hesitant at the mention of wolfsbane, “but it won’t kill you. I need your mental state to be vulnerable. Ignore the smell—I know it’s revolting but it’ll taste like dry, bitter wine.”
Scott stares at the goblet before taking it in his hands. Inside the contents was a dark liquid with a smell that made him want to gag. He couldn’t help but ask Deaton, “You’re sure about this?”
“I’ve never worked with this before but I know someone who has. It’s potent but short lasting and won’t affect you once it’s out of your system in a few hours.” Deaton gives a look of assurance, “You might feel a pressure in your head that’s like a headache.”
Y/n adds on to the vet, “that’s so show your mental walls are dropping. But like your emissary said it’s temporary. Allowing me enough time to show you my memories in the form of illusions. But I must warn you all,” she pauses to glance at each of them. “My illusions are like vivid dreams. Where it feels real. Your body will remain paralyzed here, but your mind will be somewhere else. Not only will you see what I have to show you,” Y/n’s entire demeanor becomes serious once more. “You’ll be able to hear everything. Feel everything. The sun's rays. The cool breeze. The freezing waters…..It will be as though you’re experiencing it in real time.”
There’s a pause, letting the reality sink in on what the vampire was implying. “My question is….are all of you wishing to see what I have to show you? Now is the time to step out if you’re having second thoughts.” When no one objects, despite all looking relatively nervous, Y/n clasps her hands in front her. “Well, Scott, start us off.”
“We all have to drink it?” Stiles cringes when he’s passed the cup, Scott letting out a gag after the taste hits his tongue. Y/n smirks as she nods.
“Unless you would like to sit this out, Stiles, then yes.” Groaning, the teen plugs his nose and takes a swig before handing it to Isaac. Even after taking several gulps of water the awful taste of iron and wood remained.
One by one each person took their turn of downing the potion, with Deaton as the last one to do so. Within seconds it took effect, the most notable sign being the headache forming. Then a light feeling started to swirl all along their body. Like they were on cloud 9.
“Is this what it’s supposed to feel like?” Derek moaned, squinting when the light suddenly started to become brighter.
“You’ll get used to it in a moment,” Y/n’s closes her eyes, taking a deep breath despite not needing one. It was mostly to calm her nerves as she allowed the memory dug deep within her mind to surface. A moment later the warmth of the sun hit her skin. The smell of fresh paint and sea salt filling her nose. And the sound of a ship's whistle and people shouting echoed in her ears.
The others gasped, making Y/n open her eyes where she found them all, mouth agape and eyes bulging as though they couldn’t believe what they were seeing, staring at whatever was behind her. And when she turned around, Y/n’s lips curled up into a sad smile.
Seeing the ship of dreams again after decades filled her with an emotion she couldn’t describe—she couldn’t imagine what the pack were thinking. Probably wondering if it was a dream and they’d wake up any second. The memory was as clear as the day it was made—everything around them was exactly like it was that bright sunny Wednesday afternoon.
It was like they traveled back in time to April 10th, 1912.

thank you all, muah! <3
here's a piece of my summer sons fic bc that book is still rotting my brain
Andrew licks his lips, attempting to eradicate the dryness settling in his mouth, then drags his eyes over Sam’s exposed back, content to look since Sam is seemingly content to let him look.
The dark lines of Sam’s tattoos sweep over the expanse of his skin, curling and shifting like the ink is alive and clawing its way through Sam’s body, contoured so perfectly to his muscles that Andrew finds himself jealous.
Couldn’t he be laid down in Sam’s skin like that? Couldn’t he live within the other man’s body so fluidly? Couldn’t his form, this shell that holds his life, stain Sam’s flesh so permanently?

Assumptions (Part 6)
Rewritten/Edited. ~2.8k words
Master Page
Tumblr media
Surfing all morning had been the perfect distraction from the numbness that still edges against you when you are left alone. A few days have come and gone since the revelation of the bet. You had thrown yourself into working extra shifts and finishing two series. You exhale, resting your chin on your knee while sitting on your beach blanket, watching your friends surf.
Sarah shares the blanket with you, quietly observing John B surfing wave after wave with contagious happiness until the silence threatens to consume her whole. John B had shown up with her this morning, and everyone is okay with her joining. You are aware that you have missed out on some things by fake dating Tyler and avoiding Rafe like he is the plague. But even this surprised you when you had jumped out of Kiara's car to see her and John B by the Twinkie looking head over heels for the other.
“You do not seem as put off about me and John B as the others were.”
You smile a little and look over at Sarah. “You seem happy together. Who am I to decide who can make John B happy?”
She smiles brightly then. “Thank you.”
A comfortable silence fills the air as she stretches out in contentment. You exhale, rolling your head back along your shoulders, pushing the thought of Rafe away at the mention of being happy with someone. It is absurd how rooted he is now in your everyday thoughts. It had been random interactions and lunch, but he still was true to his reputation and sunk his hooks into you like every other girl.
“You should come by Tanneyhill one day for us to hang out and swim,” Sarah suggests. "I think it could be fun, Kie could come as well."
You smile at the thought. It seems like a great idea, but you know who also resides at Tanneyhill. Sarah being his sister is not something you plan to hold against her, but it will make things difficult.
“Not happening, Sarah.” You soften your tone and peek at her. She glances at you, concern flooding her features at your change in attitude. You tear your gaze away from her, ignoring the sting that follows at the reminder of Rafe’s betrayal. “Um…” You roll the confession around in your mind before looking at her again. “Rafe, Topper, and Kelce made a bet that Rafe could get me to have sex with him by the end of the summer.”
“What?” Her voice morphs to outrage as she gapes at you.
You shrug. “He didn’t win.”
She exhales, running her hand through her blonde locks before shaking her head. “He’s an asshole.”
“Agreed,” you laugh a little and look back at the four pogues surfing as JJ cheers Kie on through a larger wave. “Rafe is backing off for now. I lied and said Tyler Andrews and I are dating.”
“So you aren’t?” She asks, a teasing smile on her lips.
You shake your head, blushing a little. “No, it was a hookup and a few fake dates. He likes another girl, Emma Williams,” you look over at Sarah, and she nods that she knows her. “We were going to fake date for the rest of the summer, but then I saw how he looked at her, and I refused to date him after that.”
She elbows you with a giggle. “Playing matchmaker?”
“Something like that,” you agree, a smile on your face as you remember the look on Tyler’s face when he saw her. “I think Tyler liked me, and we would have fun, but he did not look at me like he looked at her. So, for now, your brother thinks I am dating Tyler, and he is not happy about it, but he knows he can not do anything about it either.”
“Serves him right,” she mutters and grabs a handful of sand to let it fall between her fingers. “Your secret is safe with me.”
“Thank you.”
"He will find out eventually. Rafe typically gets what he wants."
You scowl, looking out at the water. "Yeah, I've noticed."
“Sarah!”
You both turn to see Rafe and Topper walking from the parking lot.
“It’s like you say his name, and you summon the devil,” you mutter, and she snorts.
“Stay here, I will handle this.” She stands, dusting the sand off her hands and legs before moving toward the pair. John B would not ignore Topper's presence, and you are correct as the pogues are moving back to shore together. A loud groan escapes you as you stand and dust the sand off where needed. You join Sarah, leaning into her side a little, knowing how vicious Topper and Rafe can be when provoked, and five pogues would provoke them even if you are on your side of the island.
“What are you doing, huh?” Rafe asks. “Slumming it with these pogues?”
“That is none of your business,” she sneers, crossing her arms over her waist.
Rafe’s gaze flickers to you, and he smirks, dragging his thumbs across his lip before clearing his throat. “At least I would have made some money if I had slept with one.” His blue eyes flicker over you as he smirks. “Isn’t that right, Baby?”
A chain reaction happens next as JJ surges past you and Sarah to land a hard punch to Rafe’s jaw. Topper begins to intervene, but John B shoves him back away from JJ and Rafe. You reach for Sarah, and she does not turn around, but her hand grips yours.
“JJ!” You yell for him as he lands another fist against Rafe’s face. The kook would surely sport a bruised jaw over the next few days as his head jerks to the side.
“JJ, stop it!” Kiara yells beside you now. Her tone matches how you feel watching them fight.
“John B!” Sarah yells. “Topper, stop!”
Topper lands a fist against John B’s ribs, and he groans before swinging at Topper’s face. Your attention shifts to the other fight pair as Rafe lands a punch on JJ’s ribs.
“Not again!” Kiara turns to look at Pope with wild eyes. Pope joins the fray to try to separate John B and Topper. He could not stop both fighting pairs, he would need help, and it is your fault JJ is fighting anyways. You exhale harshly before moving to do the same for JJ and Rafe. You ignore Kie and Sarah's protests at you getting involved.
You barely miss JJ’s elbow as he shoves Rafe backward after a hard punch to Rafe's face that splits his lip. Rafe’s lip starts to bleed as he staggers back from the shove. You take the opening to plant yourself between them. Both of your hands are planted against JJ’s chest.
“Walk away JJ,” you say, your eyes frantic as you search his face, but he is staring at Rafe. His chest is heaving for air, and his fists are tightly curled against his sides. "JJ!" You reach up, touching his face and turning his attention to you. “Walk away, please. This is a public beach. There are children here.”
He seems to snap out of the daze and looks around, noticing the families staring and gathering a few feet back. All sharing worried looks, whispering, and clinging to their children.
“Please, JJ for me,” you beg, knowing that the Kildare Sheriff's is likely already on their way. "Think about it Jay, the cops are probably already on their way. This is Rafe Cameron, he won't go to jail like you will."
He nods before walking backward with his hands up until Kiara is between you and JJ.
You turn to Rafe, fire in your eyes as you glare at him. “How fucking dare you?” You whisper harshly. “This is our beach, The Cut! You have no right to be here.”
He stares for a moment, before he shrugs, shaking his head. “I don’t care.”
“I can see that,” you hiss before moving forward to shove your hands again his chest. “Get out of here Rafe. Now! Go back to Figure 8, and don’t come back to The Cut again.”
“Or what?” He asks, his hands circling your upper arms to hold you there. His glare intensifies as he stares down at you like you two are the only ones on the beach at the moment. “Come with me.”
“No.”
His hands grip tighter, but his gaze does not stray from you. “Come with me, and I will go.”
“This is not an opportunity for you to bargain with me!”
He smirks, rolling his shoulders. “Sure it is, Baby.”
You glance back to see Topper and John B are at a pause while Sarah tends to John B’s injuries, and Topper glares at them a few inches away. His bottom lip is swelling, and he is sporting a cut right below his eye, which serves him right for being an asshole. Topper’s blue eyes find yours, and he smirks. You turn back to Rafe when his thumb begins to stroke the inside of your arm.
“Come with me. Or I tell the sheriffs that JJ attacked me and started this whole fight." He leans his head down as he speaks so only you hear his next words as his lips brush the shell of your ear. "There are plenty of witnesses that saw it, Baby."
You close your eyes and drop your head. “Fine, but I will go with you only. Topper can fuck off."
Rafe laughs, before turning his head to look at Topper. "Thanks for your help, Top. Go take care of that lip."
He shrugs before throwing a menacing glare at John B and going.
“I’ll be back,” you say over your shoulder to your friends, who all immediately start to protest. “I’ll be fine!” You turn back to see Rafe smirking at them. “Wipe the smirk off Rafe, or I stay.”
His facial features shift before he reaches for your hand.
"I said I would go, I didn't say you could touch me."
You pull away from him and slap his hand away. JJ laughs from behind you, and you hear Kiara admonish him with a sharp shut up.
“Don’t touch me again,” you say, your tone harsh as you ignore them in hopes of another fight not breaking out. "Go!" You gesture towards the parking lot. "You are getting what you want, as per usual."
He leads the way up the beach and to the parking lot before he turns to you. “Fine, but you'll have to touch me.”
“That’s not what… no,” you say, shaking your head as you look at his motorbike before taking a step back.
He smirks. “You agreed, or we can go back down there and wait for the sheriff."
“I hate you so much,” you snap, and take the helmet he holds out. You pull it on as he straddles the bike. You move closer and to bike, but before you can get on he reaches up and snaps the buckle in place under your chin. "What about you?"
"I didn't plan on this, despite what you think."
"Whatever." You scoff before climbing on behind him. He does not comment on your doubt, but reaches back and pulls your hands around to brace against the gas tank. The front of your body presses to his back, and that burning feeling resumes as he turns the bike on and leaves the beach and your friends behind.
Once you are at Tanneyhill and he has parked, you are off and pulling the helmet off your head. He studies you as you shove it harshly against his chest.
"Why in the hell did you bring me here?"
He shrugs, looking up at the massive white house. "I wanted to show you what I can give you."
You scoff, pacing away from him. "Fuck you, Rafe."
He leans against his bike, his gaze raking over you before he has that coy smile on his face. "Come inside. We can talk."
"I don't want to go in there."
His eyebrows rise before he turns to get back on his bike. "Then we go to the police station."
"I hate you so fucking much!" You snap before walking towards the front door. His laughter follows you before he does. He reaches past you, opening the front door before motioning you through.
"Up the stairs. First door on the right."
"I'm not going to your bedroom."
"Yes, you are," he responds. "My dad and Rose are here."
You shove his hands away when they reach for you again before following his instructions.
“Is this why you brought me here? To lock me in away in your room?"
He shakes his head as he opens his bedroom door and lets you in. "No."
“Then why?” You ask, crossing your arms over your waist before turning to him.
“I miss you."
“Oh my god,” you groan and tip your head to stare back at him. “I don’t understand you at all.”
He rolls his eyes. “Stop being dramatic.”
You sigh, shaking your head, and walking to look out the window of his bedroom, before turning to him. “Are you planning to hold me, hostage all day then?”
“Maybe,” he mutters before moving off the door to come closer. You stare at him, aware that you are unable to go anywhere as his hands grip your waist, and he looks at you. There is something in those blue depths that tugs at your heart strings. “I want you to give me a second chance.”
“No.”
He groans, his forehead dropping to yours. His breath fans over your face as he squeezes your hips.
“Rafe, I have a boyfriend.”
“That’s a lie,” he grounds out, and you push a hand to his chest, making him take a step back. “Try again.”
“Excuse me?”
“I saw Tyler and Emma together last night. So, either you lied, or Tyler is cheating. Either way, Baby, it doesn’t look like that relationship is going to work.”
“Damn it,” you groan and move to sit on his bed. Your palms press to your face as you try to think of a way to redirect his attention elsewhere.
Your options are limited, he has leverage that he can use against JJ any time he wishes or at least until the injuries fade. But you know Rafe and you know he will know no bounds until he gets his way. The only way to end this once and for all is to give Rafe what he wants and that is you. For one night, to save your best friend, you would allow Rafe to do whatever he wants with you.
You lift your gaze to him as you lean back on your palms. A poker face takes over your features, schooling the plan in mind. Your plan is mad, but it is the best option you have. “I want half.”
“What?” He asks, tipping his head and bringing his fingers over his lips.
“I want half,” you say as gently as possible. “I want half of the $10k.”
He pulls his bottom lip between his teeth as you begin unbuttoning your cover-up.
“You can have me here and now, but I get half. I have a college fund that could use it.” You look him in the eyes, your own blazing with anger. “The summer is not over yet, and Midsummers is not for another couple of weeks, so why not get something out of this as well?”
He clears his throat, his fingers flexing before he nods. “Deal.”
“And then, this stupid idea of you dating me is gone. We have sex, and that is it.”
“No,” he says, stepping back then.
You lift your gaze to his and pause on removing your coverup. “No?”
“I want more than that.”
“Why?” You ask, annoyance clear in your voice.
He shakes his head, walking away from you before turning back. His hand rakes through his hair in an equal measure of annoyance and anxiety. “I don’t want this to be a one-time hookup, Baby. I want all of you.”
You roll your eyes. “Not an option.”
He moves closer until he is standing against your legs. His hand is warm as he touches your neck. His thumb drags across the rim of your chin before moving to tip your head, so you look at him. “You can try to fight this thing between us as much you want, Baby, but we both know how I make you feel. Bet or no bet, you were mine the moment I started pursuing you.”
“Rafe-”
“No,” he says, cutting you off. “You won’t win this one. I want you, all of you, and I am going to get what I want.”
You reach up to move his hand from your face, but he tightens his fingers on your chin to keep your gaze on him.
“That little blip of whatever the hell we were was nothing.” You hiss.
He laughs, his chest shaking before he stops. “Wrong again. You’ve been mine for fucking weeks.”
Your lips part to try and change his mind, but you pause at the look on his face. Rafe Cameron was the kook prince that got whatever he wanted, and you knew it. He had his sights set on you even after everything. “Fine,” you hiss. “I’ll be your girlfriend.”
In your mind, you hope it will not last long. Rafe did not date, and you were the worst kind of girlfriend. He would get bored and move on in a few weeks.
“Now,” you whisper as you shed your cover-up and reach to untie your bikini top. “Are we doing this or not?”

FAITHFUL WIFE?
This is part 1 in an ongoing series I will do please give feedback if you want more in this series.
Tumblr media
Nicole and Andrew had been lovers for a long time. In their early days, they had been explosive and passionate, but as years passed, they had settled into a comfortable sexual routine. However, recently, things changed.
It began one night when Andrew decided to surprise Nicole by pushing all of her buttons: massage, dirty talk, and some of the other things they had been too shy to try before. The effect was immediate and powerful; Nicole felt like she was melting.
“Oh fuck, I can’t take it. [Whimpering.] How are you doing this to me? This feels incredible <3” She gasped and begged for more as Andrew teased her body and her senses.
“Come here, kiss me.” He whispered, and Nicole eagerly complied. The sensation was like nothing she had ever felt before, his lips as gentle as a summer breeze and yet as passionate as a raging wildfire. She felt so full, so close to him, as if they were one.
“Oh Andrew, that feels incredible. It feels just as good as our first time ever.” She murmured between kisses and moans.
But Andrew wasn't content with just that. He wanted to have her, to own her, to drive her to the brink of pleasure. He wanted to possess her body, her soul and her mind.
“I’m yours. Always. Every part of me, my mouth, my pussy, my ass...is all yours. Use me. Please.” She begged, her body begging for his touch.
“You are mine.” Andrew declared possessively.
“Yes... own me... it’s all yours... I fucking belong to you, just keep fucking me like that, please...” Nicole moaned in response, her desire rising as Andrew increased his intensity.
“Fuck! You’re driving me crazy!” Andrew cried out in pleasure.
“Yes, take my pussy, slam this tight little cunt, please...” Nicole begged, her body quivering with increasing pleasure.
“I’m getting so hot...I’m dripping, and my whole body is shaking!” Nicole gasped as Andrew pushed her closer and closer to fulfillment.
“Ahhh! Nicole!” Andrew exclaimed as his own body was wracked with pleasure.
“Mmmm-mmh! I’m so close. I can’t even feel my legs!” Nicole moaned, her body trembling with pleasure as Andrew continued to ravage her.
“I’m gonna cum! I’m gonna cum! Cum with me Nicole! Yes! Fuck fuck fuck!” Andrew shouted out in pleasure, pushing Nicole over the edge of pleasure.
Tumblr media
“I’m fucking cumming! Yes! Don’t stop!” Nicole cried out, her body jerking with every pulse of pleasure.
Nicole and Andrew clung to each other, panting and trembling in pleasure as the waves of pleasure slowly receded. After a few moments, Nicole whispered an endearment to Andrew, thanking him for always pushing her to explore her pleasure and for showing her that passion could still live in their relationship.

I hope you have the best time on the cruise ship! And get to be lazy and relax to your heart's content.
However, may I humbly request Math Nerd AU for WIP Wednesday? 🥰
WIP Wednesday 12-27-23 (Closed) | Math Nerd AU
Alex came over at his usual time and barely said more than 4 things before he was asleep in Andrew's bed. He had been looking a little off the night before but Andrew had dismissed it as a trick of the light.
Now Alex is under his blankets and Andrew will have to give them to Cass to wash considering how much Alex is sweating. He finds himself a comfortable spot on his bed, gets a book that he hadn't had any time to read this summer with all the time he spent out of the house, and settled in for the day.
Alex sleeps throughout the whole morning and only wakes up when Cass opens the door.

The Pros were never in the cards. Not for an ex-medicated alleged psychotic with a dysfunctional family and an Exy career he’d rather not have. But even if it wasn't his first choice, no matter what happens, it can’t possibly be worse than that one fucked up sophomore year when he stood toe to toe with the Yakuza-and won. At least, that’s what Andrew thinks until a familiar face shows up. Another Raven!Neil AU. Or, the one where the boys don’t meet until the Pros.

He also has Jack and Sheena getting on his nerves, papers to write, Aaron's trial coming closer with each passing day, paranoid habits to break, ghosts to fight when he closes his eyes at night and real-people things to consider like bank accounts and taxes and so. much. more. He also has Andrew, their roof, their bond, their kisses, their touches and the promise of a future that is theirs, to grow and play and live. But things are never that easy for Neil Josten, are they?

Part 1 of the dark side of the moon series
"What do you think it means to be alive, Andrew?” “What?” "To be alive. Is it just to eat and breathe? Just survive? Because that’s what I’ve been doing my whole life, Andrew, and it doesn’t feel like enough. But I don’t know how to do more. We’re supposed to find meaning or something, right?” See: stupid fucking questions. Like Andrew hadn’t been wondering the same thing his whole life. “Yeah. Yeah, we are.” A The Last of Us AU of AFTG. Set five years after the breakout of Cordyceps, Andrew is tasked with bringing an enigma of a man across the country, who also may just happen to be the cure for humankind.

Neil's back in Palmetto with the Foxes' triumph over the Raven's, time to see how much damage has been done. ~ “Yes.” He didn’t remember the car ride back. Were they back? He was in a car. Yes. He remembered bits. Things scattered, Remembered- Eighty percent. A bullet. Blood splatter and Riko’s expression. Watched until eyes fogged over with death. Did he watch that long? Must have. His mother used to say- He blinked. ~ The long-awaited Scared to Live sequel

Reasons Neil had Died He cried too much as a baby, and his father made him stop He cried too much as a baby, and his mother tried to muffle the sound, and in her terror she silenced him for good His father wanted to hurt someone, and Neil was nearby The runners came for his mother, and they found him instead His mother hid him in a shack and left him alone as the heat soared They tried to run, and his father caught them They tried to run, and the runners caught them They ran, and they ran, and they ran, and they were still running and it didn’t matter, because his father would not stop, and he picked them off in one world after another until there was nowhere left to hide Reasons Neil had Lived He didn’t know, but there were eight

Neil rolled over and stared up at the ceiling. He’d get to play exy, eat regularly, and sleep somewhere with heating- presumably. Not a bad way to spend his last months. And hey, maybe his mother would come back from the dead and kill him herself if he went to Palmetto. Little victories. What if Neil gave up completely on making it through the year when he went to palmetto? What if Neil just did not give a single fuck? Maybe things would turn out better.

Neil was the pervasive lie Andrew had foolishly allowed himself to indulge and been unable to shake. A person who would stay? Fairytale. It wouldn’t last. Forevers didn’t exist for him. With graduation on the horizon, Andrew makes the hard decision to leave Neil before Neil can leave him. But after a year, Andrew starts to wonder if maybe he was wrong. Maybe he can have it all.
