how ironic is it that Jody basically adopts Sam and Dean and then later adopts Alex and Claire. oh, the similarities between them all

you have Alex, who was a monster when we met her and Sam, who had demon blood in him. Alex was given a group of friends - a boyfriend - by someone who was wronged by her and later tried to kill her. and Sam, who was given a group of friends - a girlfriend - by someone who wanted to keep tabs on him to turn him into something worse. and both of them found this out in front of their loved ones. oh, and they both have something from their past, always coming and biting them in the ass again. oh, they both have school on Monday, too, can't forget that :)

you have Claire, who has so many daddy issues they can rival Dean's. both of their backgrounds are so, so similar, they really are just the same person in different fonts. what, Mary dies so John goes on this huge hunt and changes who he is to find her killer, and Jimmy gets possessed by an angel, leading Amelia to go on this huge hunt to find him and changing who she is as a person? and both John and Amelia die to protect their kid?

idk it's just a little ironic that Jody has these two boys who aren't always in her life, but she has these two girls who are so very similar to them that she does have every day of her life

also, Claire is gay??? if their backstories are so similar, should Dean not also b-(indistinct screaming, cars honking)

here's my take on Thasmin that we see in the show:

Yaz not initially really crushing that much on The Doctor, more bewildered, impressed in awe

She begins to crush on her,

The Doctor recipricates a bit but is also MAD buzy with her whole identity crisis, she clearly dosent have the space to give anything back

but Yaz wants to help her, everytime she sees 13 pull away she grows more desperate to help her and then suddenly

they have to spend 10 months apart, this is where the big proper crush hits

then Flux is all about her finally trying to come to terms with that crush

then 13 sort of realizes, OH SHIT this cute girl who is absolutley BRILLIANT loves me, fuck oh fuck, ive been flirting and i care about her and i cant hurt her like ive hurt everyone else

and so she wants it to end peacefully, its like she comes to terms with the ways the doctor has preciously treated love interests and is finally doing the right thing

and I think thats fucking beautiful. some relationships are not meant to last forever. but Yaz will be a stronger person for the rest of her life BECAUSE of the way thirteen wrapped things up the right way

also they should have kissed under the sea and held hands ty ok bye

my favourite thing is that I have yet to see two different artists use the same eye colour for 13. every artist has chosen a specific eye colour that their 13 has. I've seen blue. I've seen brown. that green-yellow colour that I don't know how it's called. hazel. light blue. half green and half brown. she has an entire rainbow in her eyes at this point and I absolutely love this.

im bored, have a bunch of specific headcanons i have about the s1 dads (including a few abt jodie & paeden)

- glenn's boots have a bit of a lift and heel to them, and add about three inches to his height, (he wears them because of this) henry thought he and glenn were the same height until glenn had taken them off at one point,

- darryl's baseball cap used to be franks

- henry has really good reflexes, and has almost hit people before when spooked, (he feels incredibly guilty abt this)

- ron has incredibly light blue eyes AND has a staring problem

- glenn cuts his own hair, as well as nicks,

- henry's only friends growing up were a couple of talking birds in oakvale

- ron does not know how to shave and he cant grow a beard

- darryl watches The Great British Bake Off while alone

- glenn has a massive vinyl collection but no record player

- paeden thought being vegan meant you ate only trees, he only learned it wasn't that when he got his frank memories back

- henry is so blonde that he looks like he doesn't have eyelashes

- ron combs his mustache every morning

- post-realms trip, darryl shaved off his beard at one point and scared glenn really bad early that morning, out of protest glenn started calling him 'butt naked darryl'

- jodie is a huge star wars nerd

- henry got another pair of glasses once they returned from the forgotten realms, they lasted two weeks before darryl accidentally stepped on them

- when the dads were to preoccupied with something and weren't paying attention to paeden he would climb up darryls shoulders and try to nose dive onto the ground, (they would usually catch him or stop him before he did)

- jodie got his title as king of hell because he beat satan in a rock paper scissors battle

- glenn tried to learn how to skateboard as a teenager but fell and chipped his tooth on the side walk, he did not try again

- ron doesn't know he can vote

- henry didn't legally exist for around 6 years after he ended up on earth, he and mercedes only realized it was a problem when they tried to get married

- darryl has had two concussions in his lifetime

- at ron and samantha's wedding ron tripped and fell while saying his vows

what did you guys like about the 13th doctor's era?

ok so im up to 13s era, will talk about how much i love 12 later, but i know it was pretty controversial and the episodes apparently werent the best written. I really want to like 13, i would love to be the doctor one day and jodie was paving the way for change. I feel like my mind is kind of preassuming her era as bad based on feedback but i really want to like her, so to the 13th doctor fans , whats your favourite parts about her era, companion characterisation etc. I just watched twwfte and i do like her but i want to see it from the biggest fans!
