Whosoever, He said, commits sin, whether Jew or Greek, rich or poor, king or beggar, is the servant of sin. O miserable bondage! ...when wearied with the hardness of his tasks... whither does the slave of sin flee? He takes it along with him, wherever he goes; for his sin is within him. The pleasure passes away, but the sin does not pass away: its delight goes, its sting remains behind. He alone can free from sin, Who came without sin, and was made a sacrifice for sin. [With these truths,] Christ purposely alarms us first, and then gives us hope. He alarms us, that we may not love sin; He gives us hope, that we may not despair of the absolution of our sin. Our hope then is this, that we shall be freed by Him who is free. He has paid the price for us, not in money, but in His own blood: If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. Not from the barbarians, but from the devil; not from the captivity of the body, but from the wickedness of the soul. [Now] the first stage of freedom is, the abstaining from sin. But that is only incipient, it is not perfect freedom: for the flesh still lusts against the spirit, so that you do not do the things that you would. Full and perfect freedom will only be, when the contest is over, and the last enemy, death, is destroyed. Do not then abuse your freedom, for the purpose of sinning freely; but use it in order not to sin at all. Your will will be free, if it be merciful: you will be free, if you become the servant of righteousness.

“12 Promises of God to Lean On” By Instaencouragements.com:
“Leaning on the promises of God means relying on the assurances that He has given us through His Word, the Bible.
God's promises are trustworthy and provide comfort, guidance, and hope to believers.
When we lean on these promises and trust in God's faithfulness, we find peace. Peace that passes all human understanding. Peace that sustains us in the midst of difficult circumstances. Peace that assures us that God is in control.
It's important that we read and meditate on God's Word regularly. When we do, we will be reminded of His promises and to deepen our trust in Him.
Today, let's look at 12 of His promises and meditate on the Scripture where they are found.
12 promises of God we can confidently lean on today:
1. God will fight for you: “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” —Exodus 14:14
2. God will go before you: “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” —Deuteronomy 31:8
3. God will be with you: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” —Joshua 1:9
4. God will renew you: “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” —Isaiah 40:31
5. God will strengthen you: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” —Isaiah 41:10
6. God will be your Shepherd: “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.” —Psalm 23:1
7. God will deliver you: “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.” —Psalm 34:17
8. God will counsel you: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.” —Psalm 32:8
9. God loves you: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16
10. God will make all things work for your good: “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” —Romans 8:28
11. God will never leave you: “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.” —Hebrews 13:5
12. God will guard you: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” —Philippians 4:7

"CONFRONTING THE ENEMY'S TACTICS!"
Psalm 144:1, “Blessed be the Lord, my Rock and my keen and firm Strength, Who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight” (AMPC) The main tactic of the enemy is deception. “Deception” is defined as, “the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid; to trick; to cheat; to defraud; to be dishonest.” And that’s exactly who the enemy is, a deceiver, liar and the…

Eternal Assurance: Trusting in Christ Alone
Back in the early 90’s I faced a crisis as I held to a works-based salvation and constantly lived in fear of my eternal destiny. I had no assurance of my salvation because I never knew if I’d performed enough good works to validate my salvation. It was a terrible place to be. The solution came when I began to study the Scriptures carefully, stopped looking at myself, and fixed my “eyes on Jesus,…

“Jesus is everything, for everybody, everywhere, every time and every way. He is God, He is faithful” (1 Cor 1:9) He is with me, but Friend, Jesus is also with you, whenever you need Him. Jesus walks with you (Lev 26:12), He prays for you (Rom 8:34) and He will never leave you (Deut 31:6). He is your friend (John 15:15) and He will always be with you (Matt 28:20). Thank You Jesus! Amen! 🙏🕊️🙌

3. “I shall always be right there with you. I will be your God, and you will be my people.” —Leviticus 26:12 (FBV)

5. “The Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” —Deuteronomy 31:6b (NIV)

MY TRUTH AND THE TRUTH
I did a quick Google search for the meaning of “truth”. This is what Dictionary.com says: The true or actual state of a matter: He tried to find out the truth. Conformity with fact or reality; verity: the truth of a statement. A verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like: mathematical truths. Given these definitions, does “my truth” make much sense? Let me provide you…

Scriptures: John‬ ‭20‬:‭24‬-‭31‬ ‭NIV‬‬
“Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
RHEMA:
▫️John ‭20‬:‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬ "Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
▫️ Stop doubting and start believing that God is with you and for you.
REFLECTION:
One of Jesus Christ' 12 disciples. Sinabi pa nga niya sa verse 25, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
Karamihan kasi satin, we need to see it or feel it before we believe it. Today's scriptures teaches us about our own doubts. Yung pag dududa or pag doudoubt, it is something na parang naging normal na sa bawat tao.
Even tayo, with other people, di tayo always certain if someone is being tru to you or not. Di lang yan, may iba ring hindi naniniwala kay Kristo, dba mga atheist or kahit Christians, yung ibang nag keclaim na they follow the Lord pero most of the time, nag doudoubt sa salita niya.
His miracles are enough for us to believe in Him. prinomise ni Lord yan na He will meet the believers every need; remove all sin, save eternity and would never leave or forsake a believer. Kaya nga sabi nya in verse 29 “blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
MOTIVATION:
Ako, personally, there was a time yung moment na down na down ako, and take note Christian na ako nun, i went through really a rough time. Nahihirapan ako mag serve nun na time kasi quenestion ko talaga si Lord why he allowed those things to happen to me. Gabi gabi akong umiiyak sa kanya, asking Him where I went wrong or kung saan ako nag kulang. Pinag dudahan ko yung salita niya. Like me, many of us, stop believing His words kung mahirap na yung pinag dadaanan. Marami satin natatakot ano yung next ma mangyayari, kasi nga we are doubting God's word.
Let today's story of Thomas be reminder to all of us to stop doubting and start believing. Kung may moment man na we begin to doubt the Lord, stop and look at your own life. I assess mo how manu times God provided you whatever you need.
APPLICATION:
▫️Let us stop worrying kung ano yung nangyayari at mangyayari pa sa life.
▫️Always believe that God is with you and for you.
