Absolutely, their dry/deadpan delivery is a bit unsettling but its all in good fun, at least for them! Can dish out quite a bit and take it well, often with a snide remark in response
🧸— What are they like as a parent?
Contrary to popular belief, Juniper is a very nurturing individual, their life may be sprinkled with blood but they've always seen themself eventually settling down and starting a family of their own. Coddles a bit too much, but they just want their children to have an easier life than what they've had. Raises big horners post New Vegas, funneling all their nurturing energy into animal husbandry.
💝— What are their best qualities as a partner?
You won't find a more loyal partner than Juniper, they go all in to their relationship and that includes devotion to their partner. Beyond that, their honesty is something that they give out and expect back in droves.
🥀— How well would they handle a break up?
Bitter to the extreme, literally scorched earth policy, their last break up ended with the destruction of the Divide.
💛— How do they say good morning?
With the smell of campfire smoke, coffee and the sizzle of eggs and chorizo. Should they sleep in with their partner, cue Juniper as big spoon nuzzling into their partners back to greet them in the morning.
I love that we're getting more non-binary characters in video games, especially in JRPGs and the like. My favorite hero from Xenoblade 3 is Juniper. I love them so much. And I'm also finding out Halara from Raincode has no specified gender and is referred to by "them".
Sometimes I just get powerfully inexplicably homesick for the little desert town I lived in 2013-2015 when I was fresh out of college and in AmeriCorps!
With their older siblings abandoning them for other reasons. One might think the rest of the night went to hell. The only one keeping an eye on the children was the Watcher, that proved to be enough.
River and Rain had little interest that night to get their elder siblings in trouble. I mean, if they did Forest would totally hoist them up by their ankles and dunk them in the river. Instead the girls did something mature....they played nicely and entertained their toddler sibling.
River and Rain might be impish in nature, but they had kind hearts. They played peek-a-boo and other games to entertain their sister. They wanted her crawl and move about the hut and encouraged her on her moment.
