Ekvillan - 'The oak villa'

Ekvillan is a spacious family villa inspired by swedish architecture from the turn of the last century.

I chose to call it 'Ekvillan' - 'The oak villa' in swedish, since there is a big oak tree in the garden. It has a vegetable garden, bees, a chicken coop, and a treehouse. There's plenty of cozy little spots to hang out and eat 'fika'.

⚫︎草花と小鳥を愛でる京都さんぽ NHK文化センター春夏講座 京都府立植物園 9/16

虫の音に、残暑が少しやわらぎます。 京都府立植物園では、カリガネソウの花が見頃を迎えていました。雄しべと雌しべがしゅるんと弓形に飛び出した、不思議なすがた👀スズムシバナやユキミバナなどの秋草がひっそりと咲くなか、南国のハイビスカスやクササンタンカも満開。なんだか夏と秋のあいだを歩いているみたいだったな〜 池のほとりで出会ったのは、カワセミくん。のんびりしてた😊

The September class took place at ​Kyoto Botanical Gardens,​ the oldest and ​one of the most comprehensive botanical garden in Japan.​  There, the singing of the insects made us feel the autumn was just around the corner while the summer heat was still lingering.
