random RL headcanons: game night edition
Mia is weirdly and inexplicably good at charades/any similar games. just anything to do with abstract communication. Poetry With Neanderthals is a personal favorite of hers.
(silly OC addition: Mia and Caldwell have a game they created for parties that's essentially just an alternate version of charades. Caldwell, who is cursed and cannot speak coherently, draws a prompt from a hat, and has to try to explain it. the audience is split into teams and attempts to guess the prompt. Mia, who is an expert at interpreting Caldwell's speech, is usually barred from playing (the exception being themed rounds where the theme is outside her specialties) and acts as a judge/curates the prompt list)
Angie is both very, very good and very, very bad at Monopoly Cheater's Edition. seems to get better the more she's had to drink, of course. gets caught cheating 90% of the time, but usually manages to pull off something insane near the end of the game.
Bela is surprisingly killer at games like Cards Against Humanity. nobody ever expects her to play the cards she does, no matter how many times they've played with her. equally an expert at games where having a good memory comes in handy.
Cassandra excels at games of deception, trickery, and mindfucks. playing a game like Werewolf with her is honestly insane. will attempt to "seduce" (i.e. distract) players she thinks are close to figuring her out. she's also decent at trivia games, but likes to narrow down the categories if the other players are cool with that.
Dani mostly likes chill, shorter games (the kind where you can play multiple rounds in one sitting), especially card games. I can see her enjoying Here To Slay, Muffin Time, and Happy Little Dinosaurs. on a semi-related note I think she low-key went through a magic trick/sleight of hand phase, but these days she doesn't usually do tricks unless she's had a couple drinks and someone brings it up.
Miranda prefers 1v1 games... on the rare occasion where someone (*cough* MC *cough*) convinces her to play. she's decent at actual chess, but is prone to starting out overconfident, only to end up getting flustered towards the end because she overthinks her moves. do not play checkers with her. she will win. you will lose. you will lose by an embarrassingly large margin.
Alcina is only slightly more interested in games than Miranda, and usually uses them as an excuse to socialize. likes big group games where there are opportunities to chat with other players while someone else makes their turn. probably plays the kinds of games that I've seen on TV a lot (classics like Mahjong) but don't personally have enough experience to talk about.
Donna kicks ass at pool, but almost never plays. you (and Angie) would have to talk her into it. totally worth it tho, because she'll have a lot of fun, especially if you're on her team and let her "show you the ropes". if you catch my drift ;) aka that thing where she'll lean a lot of her body against you, her arms alongside yours, helping move you into position. that thing tv shows/movies do to increase sexual tension between two characters.
Mia is also unfairly good at darts. it's honestly really attractive.

Hey mark.
Second attempt at asking for birthday trivia: got anything for ‘leaf-crowned elder’, barring that any for ‘Doran the siege tower’
Thanks for all you do for the magic.
We had high hopes for kinship. We liked how it tied to the typal theme, connecting to both race and class creature types. But the mechanic was poorly received. The feedback was people didn’t like that it didn’t work the majority of the time.
Happy Birthday!

carry your world, i’ll carry your world
for @krikeymate
—————————————————————————-
“Hey, Helena? Another round,” Sam called, tapping on her glass.
Her favorite bartender put down the glass she was drying and rolled her eyes. “Already, Sam? I just refilled you five minutes ago. I’m starting to think you have a problem,” she teased, pouring another glass.
Sam shrugged. “You know me. The addict with a problem. That’s a groundbreaking theory, Dr. H,” she teased, her eyes sparkling with mirth.
Helena rolled her eyes. “I’ll be a doctor one day, jackass.”
Before Sam could retort, she stopped, puzzled at the person carrying a massive case of beer. This new girl clearly wasn’t strong enough, tottering on her feet, switching her grip on the box every few seconds.
Taking a sip of her tequila, Sam tosses a napkin at Helena. The girl turns around, chucking the paper back at Sam.
Giggling, Sam holds her hands up, surrendering. “Sorry. Anyways, who’s that?”
Helena follows Sam’s (rudely) pointed finger, smiling at the girl struggling to put down the case of beer. Ah. Newbies.
The girl reaches over and pulls the newbie in, ignoring how the case of beer rattled as she knocked into it. “Oh, who’s this? Sam, this is the kid. This kid’s new. Say hi, Shelby,” she crows, squeezing the kid’s cheeks.
Sam smiled wide. It’s been a while since someone’s moved to this town. Ever since all the massacres, Woodsboro has seen a slow wave of tourists. It’s good to know that someone stayed.
She held out her hand, grinning. “Hey, I’m Sam, local guide and historian.”
Shelby sheepishly waved, her cheeks turning red at all the attention. “Hi, Sam.”
Grinning at Shelby’s awkwardness, Helena leaned on the bar, her chin resting in her palms. She looked over at the talkative Carpenter sister and sighed. Sam hadn’t been sleeping well since Tara left. It was evident due to how chatty she was. But it was good to know the girl was still alive.
“What’s the story tonight, Sam?” Helena interrupted, trying to get the older girl's attention.
Without skipping a beat, Sam answered. “Tara loves trivia. Trivia nights, especially. I’m thinking of bringing her to one once she returns from school. Spring Break is soon, anyways,” she mused, closing her eyes.
She allowed herself to sink into the memory, grinning as she saw Tara’s smile again.
——-
“Guatemala!”
Sam threw her head back, laughing. Tara was on a hot streak, firing off answers left and right. The craziest part? She was right about every single one. Her seven-year-old sister was such a genius. Such a good reader.
It was kids trivia night at O’Malley’s bar and grill, and though Sam was freshly thirteen years old, they still let the Carpenter sisters have a table of their own. The townspeople all knew about the neglected girls. It was tough to help in such a delicate situation, so they helped by making the girl’s lives easier. Complimentary tables and turning a blind eye to the food they stole were the people’s way of helping.
Sam knew they were looking the other way, but for Tara, it was magical that they could do these things. They were the royalty of Woodsboro. And Sam was okay with letting her believe that.
Trivia night, for one. Tara was an avid reader, always with a nose in a book. Lately, it’s been all the encyclopedias, all the knowledge in books with millions of pages. Sam had no idea how quickly she got through them and remembered everything well. Part of her thinks she should call the Guinness World Record people. Perhaps they could make money off of her brain.
Tara elbowed Sam. “Sam, how do you spell photosynthesis?” she whispered, her words whistling through missing teeth.
Sam took the dry-erase marker from her sister and wrote the word on the board. The minute she finished, Tara gleefully snatched the board and held it up.
“Photosynthesis!” she shouted
Another point for the sisters. Sam was just the glorified scribe, only answering questions on movies and television. She was never the avid reader Tara was, but she watched plenty of novellas and movies to keep them in first place.
As the host asked another question, Sam turned and watched Tara lean in, smiling as her little sister’s brow furrowed in concentration. She loved that face. She loved her little sister. She was all Sam ever needed.
She eventually had to watch the host after Tara caught her big sister staring at her again.
“Focus, Sammy. We can’t lose to the Meeks-Martins,” she hissed, pointing to the table of twins, who were grinning devilishly at the sisters.
Tara was right. She needed to focus. That chocolate basket could not go to Chad- he was dairy intolerant.
And Sam got to rub it in his face, smiling smugly as she and Tara tore into the Hershey kisses.
——
Helena watches Sam leave through the door, her previously happy resolve breaking. Fuck. It was getting worse.
There wasn’t much she could do, so she returned to cleaning the bar, wiping down the sticky countertops. Shelby was collecting glasses on a tray, a frown on her face.
God. Helena just wanted to go home. It was 3 a.m., and they weren’t done yet. But to get going faster, she had to ask the question to everyone who wondered about Sam Carpenter.
She collected her thoughts, breathing out. “What’s up, kid?”
Shelby looked at her, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “I recognized her. Isn't she the one involved in the massacre?”
Sighing, Helena sat down her damp rag. Here she goes. “Yeah, that’s her.”
Puzzled, the girl tilted her head. “But isn’t the sister dead? She died in that second attack in Stu Macher’s house, right?” she asked, her voice trailing off.
Helena shook her head. Jesus. Shelby still wasn’t getting it. She smacked her hand on the table, ignoring how the girl flinched at the noise. She had to get this kid to understand so she didn’t ruin it. It was crucial to all the townspeople not to destroy this.
“Look, kid. You’re right. But Sam’s really messed up over it still. She still believes that Tara is alive and that she’s just away at college,” she said, her voice strangled. God. She hasn’t had this conversation in a while.
She ran a hand through her hair. “But Tara isn’t; she’s been dead for two years. So Sam comes at night and retells stories about her sister because she thinks Tara will be home soon one day,” she pauses, collecting her words. “Sam just couldn’t handle the fact that she lost Tara again.”
The girl sniffled, tears running down her face. “Again?” she says incredulously, wiping her eyes.
Helena chuckled sadly. “Before alcoholism, Sam was an addict. But that's another story for another day. Go wipe down the back bar,” she ordered, turning away from the sad-eyed girl.
Shelby scampered away, sniffling loudly. Once Helena could no longer hear her footsteps, she turned around and continued to wipe down the stools. Though she didn’t know Sam very well, it was still a brutal story to tell.
Especially since the Carpenter’s mother sat in the same seat Sam did, but in the morning. It was easier for the seasoned alcoholic to drink at ten a.m., while Sam chose the evening shift.
It was excruciating watching history repeat itself. But there wasn’t much Helena could do about it. Her job was to serve her patrons.
And that’s what she did.

Forthe ask game - 🎮 VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER - for both Sia and Saedra, 💯 HUNDRED POINTS SYMBOL - for Sia, and 🐷 PIG FACE - for Saedra :D
Thanks for the ask Alyona! 💕
From this oc ask game
Siavash
🎮 VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER — what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies?
Music will come as no surprise. When he has a free moment Siavash will always pick up his guitar. Sometimes he’ll just play through an old fave, but sometimes something new he’s working on – either an original composition or a challenging piece he hasn’t mastered (still trying to impress his dad).
Swimming! Usually only when it’s warm enough and with any luck skinny dipping.
Travel - part of the reason became a diplomat was to see the world. He’d been around Avistan as far north as Varisia and as far south as Osirion before the fateful mission to Mendev. He loves discovering the sights and smells of new places and especially meeting new people.
💯 HUNDRED POINTS SYMBOL — share three random facts about your oc that others may not know.
Wow three things about Siavash I haven’t already shared… tough one!
He’s a kindred-raised half-elf and has never suffered from a feeling of not fitting in, but he does have a certain unusual anxiety around elves, whose air of insular mystery he’s never been able to penetrate despite a sense of kinship. Of course there are individual elves he gets along with fine, but he’s secretly intimidated.
When he was a student at Almas U he and some friends were arrested for drunkenly climbing the golden statue of Talmandor. He talked his way out of spending a night in jail and is still friends with the arresting officer.
I’ve shared this with few: his nose has a slight crook in the bridge in profile. Adds character.
Saedra
🎮 VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER — what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies?
Sex. Saedra will take someone home at closing time two to three times a week, and she’s a fixture at local soirées. Being pan and active doesn’t mean she’s not picky, but her tastes run a wide range and are not at all restricted to the classically attractive. You have to be original and interesting enough to catch her attention somehow. She likes to say she’ll try anything once.
She doesn’t have time for much beyond studying magic, working at the bar and indulging her other hobby, but she’s pretty good at bar games like darts and trivia. She loves games but at the same time isn’t very competitive. As long as everyone has fun she doesn’t need to win.
When she was a kid she and the other orphans used to sneak out and walk along the harbor quay at night. There’s a spot where they could climb down and make sand sculptures. She would still do it if she had time. She likes the feel of soft sand taking shape in her hands.
🐷 PIG FACE — what is your oc's favorite animal?
Saedra has a toad familiar named Puddle. It doesn’t suit her aesthetic but I think that’s part of the draw.

Conversations with a Movie Star Reference Guide
Photos and some background for places mentioned in chapter three for anyone who may be curious. And some random trivia that didn't make it in there. 😊
Peaches Corner
Tumblr media
Ava might be a big fan of their hot dogs, but full disclosure, I've never actually eaten here. But they've been there since 1937 so they must be doing something right, lol!
The Bowery
Tumblr media
Not actually mentioned in the story but since we're in the neighborhood and it is kinda a landmark, right around the corner from Peaches is The Bowery. For any old school country music fans, Alabama got their start here playing as the house band for most of the 1970s. This is not the kind of bar Ava and Dieter would ever frequent and that's probably enough said about that.
Gay Dolphin
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ava's favorite place!! And one of mine too, lol! I've never seen any other place like it and I've been fascinated for as long as I can remember. There's a fountain at the bottom of the tower you can see from the streetside entrance and the spiral staircase in the tower leads up to an observation deck that has been closed as long as I can remember as well, lol.
Besides Dieter's shark tooth necklace, other treasures they left the store with include a couple puka shell necklaces for Ava (she insists they'll be back in style any day now, Dieter doesn't care about style he just likes the way they look sitting in the hollow of her throat but that's a different story lol), tie-dyed tees and koozies with the store's logo, and two hermit crabs Ava named Elwood & Harvey who hang out in their tank on the reservation desk and help welcome guests to the motel.
The Pavilion
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Depending on how you got there, the amusement park was the first sight that greeted you as you came into town. The building across the street had beach and street entrances and housed an arcade downstairs and a teen night club called The Magic Attic upstairs. (Ava's parents never let her and Drew go, but I feel like Dieter was probably a regular- trying out his moves on unsuspecting tourists 😆) They were demolished in 2007. Last time I was there, both locations were very sad vacant lots.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The carousel and the organ Dieter mentions were both moved to nearby Broadway at the Beach. But it's not the same, it'll never be the same.

Hey! May I request some nd headcanons for jack wilder? /gen
Tumblr media
Summary: Jack Wilder headcanons because ✨✨HIM!!!✨✨
Pairing: me and getting requests 😍
A/N: omg of course I will write headcanons for the guy! Let’s get into it!!
—————————————————————
He started learning card tricks when he was little using youtube videos, I like to think his parents would shut off the lights after kissing him goodnight and he’d then slip his ipad out from under his pillow and practice little card tricks under his blanket.
I’m thinking he and Henley are the most “family” people out of all the horsemen and have pretty good familial ties with their family.
Jack is an only child and was really close to his parents. They probably got sick or he lost contact when they had to move away or something.
From what Jack gathered, his parents were pretty supportive of his career.
In school he was sort of the “outcast” that the girls had a crush on, he always knew when they’d take pictures to send to other girls.
Speaking of pictures, Jack is really photogenic, you could take a reel of pictures and somehow Jack looks like he’s posing for vogue or people’s magazine.
He thinks of the Horsemen as his second family, like most of them do, but he really likes playing into this. Especially with Merritt being his “big brother” figure.
He has random trivia knowledge, he also treats it like common information.
“What the hell you mean you don’t know?”
“How the hell was I supposed to know what the ends of a shoelace are called?!”
I think his love language are gift giving, like pulling a bouquet out of his sleeve, putting his phone number on a playing card and making it appear out of thin air.
He used to watch cartoons with his dad, they both learned impressions from those shows and it drove his mother insane.
I like to think the Wilder family took long car rides, his father and him recreating episodes w/ impressions or singing songs as crazy cartoon characters while his mother was laughing along.
He really loves playing games and making bets with the others, he spends a lot of his time playing Mario Kart with Merritt, making bets with Dylan. Sometimes he has a pretty heartfelt moment with Daniel while practicing for their shows.
Henley and Lula used to let him go on girl trips because Henley used to see him as a little brother. I bet they had a celebratory drink at a bar for when Dylan, Merritt, & Daniel finally included him in the “big boy magic.” (Big Boy Magic 😭😭😭)
He’s extremely happy where he is, doesn’t regret a single thing. Sure he had his moments of uncertainty but now Jack feels like he’s made it, that he’s there and he’s where he’s supposed to be.

Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective Episode 2 Review - The Impregnable Piggy Bank
Fun but useless trivia of the day: the word Kamonohashi is the Japanese word for ‘platypus’, which is why Kanetamaru Kamoo (Ron’s disguise) has a platypus mascot on his hat. I hope this helps? Anyways, I actually feel more invested in this episode’s mystery than the previous one because this one made me think a bit more than before.
Tumblr media
The mystery for this episode is about the case of missing money from a piggy bank that was never broken into. Two sisters reside in the house where the piggy bank was. The younger sister thinks it’s weird how there was less coins but the piggy bank wasn’t destroyed. If it was theft, why not settle for the dangling jewelry in the corner of the living room? Fortunately, what seemed to be a small, unimportant case for the police department ended up being connected to the bigger murder case Amamiya was chasing as the murder victim was the older sister’s stalker and she killed him with a piggy bank that was identical to the one the younger sister had. She bought the same piggy bank and tampered with the crime scene to avoid her guilt. Though, she could’ve just called the police and pleaded for her actions to be seen as self-defense.
Remember how reluctant Ron was when it came to solving cases last episodes? He comes into this episode like a kid asking for more candy after getting addicted to it. Or for a more ‘mature’ comparison, solving the previous episode’s case got Ron addicted like a drug addict and now he’s asking drug dealer Toto for more cases. It’s a complete 180 from last episode. He even has the magic power to change his clothes in a blink of an eye. Despite this, Ron is actually not supposed to be solving cases as he was expelled from a detective school and never got his license. He’s technically an illegal detective and it makes sense why the other title of this show is called “Forbidden Deductions” because Ron is solving mysteries with Toto illegally.
I do like how detectives work a bit different in this world than usual. In this universe, there’s a school called BLUE that trains aspiring detectives to be the absolute best and certifies them after they graduate. Ron was the best in his class and in the whole school during his time, but due to an incident, he was barred from getting his license and expelled from school. I think this makes this world a lot more interesting because there are higher stakes when it comes to solving cases here. It gives off the suspenseful feeling of “Will Ron get caught or not?” What would happen if Ron gets caught? Can he even be caught? I really like the pulling feel of this question. I really do wonder if solving cases with Ron will give the respect Toto deserves from his superiors.
I do wonder why Ron has those Geass-like mind control eyes. Is it something BLUE implanted onto him? Is it something that all detectives from there have? Is it due to him having a special blood lineage? It’s so mysterious. I think the biggest mystery is that those eyes are like arbiters in a way. They mind control people against Ron and the culprits’ wills. I’m most interested about their true purpose. Fortunately, Toto is there to save culprits from actually dying, which is a good thing.
I dislike the fact that Toto gets little respect from his boss Amamiya. Well, this is the beginning so I hope Toto gets the respect he deserves one day; I just hope Amamiya can give him that and not be a one-note sadist boss. I know that being a detective means being tough and strong-willed, which is why I can’t truly hate Amamiya for doing her job, but from her proper introduction in this episode alone, she didn’t really do anything to show that she’s a capable detective, given that she failed to connect the two cases together and overlooked the piggy bank case as something menial and unimportant to the point of handing it over to a subordinate she looks down on. I hope that she grows from this because it’d be a tiresome gag if she keeps looking down on Toto. I do think her simping for Ron was hilarious since no one would expect a hobo disbarred sleuth would be attractive enough for a femme fatale like her to fall for; though, contextually, it would make sense because it would be weird if Amamiya’s character to fall for someone like Totomaru. Sorry, Toto; I just cannot picture that. The unfortunate thing about Amamiya’s newfound crush on Ron is that a relationship between them won’t ever form because Ron is shaping himself to be either Totosexual or just case-sexual in the distant future; he's definitely leaning towards the latter more.
Now, I’m a bit worried now that BLUE is taking action. They give off an evil organization feel and one of their minions is now on the move. Will it happen next episode or will it drag on for a while? Given the episodic pacing for this show, I wouldn’t be surprised if this Tracking Instructor dude with the blue hair shows up next episode. The question is: what will he bring to the table for our duo?
I really like both opening and ending songs! The opening is peppy and jazzy while the ending song is soft and bright, making a good end for an intense mystery. Regarding the opening, I do love that we see Ron in different disguises like how he disguised himself in this episode. I do wonder who the girl with the pink hair is. She’s cute.
I was a bit on the edge of my seat with this episode’s mystery being a bit non-conventional. I like it! I can’t wait for more! Also, let me ask the important question: Ron Kamonohashi or Kanetamaru Kamoo? Who do you like more? (They’re the same person).

My intrusive thoughts are holding me hostage so here's trivia about my selfship with hazzy luci.
In my canon luci and lili are divorced. Luci is not taking it well which is why he acts the way he does at the start. Lili originally planned to lay low on earth but got captured by the angels.
So when I accidentally transport myself to hell, because I got a book from the library and tried to prove it wasn't real magic, I stay at the hotel as a refuge. I force myself to get along with the patrons because I truly have no one else and they are not as hostile.
I met luci when charlie invites her dad. I'm intimated at the prospect of meeting THE incarnation of Sin only to get confused when i see out how short he is.
And boy he is shocked, if no outright fearful that a human got trapped in hell. He's used to going to the mortal realm messing with them, NOT the other way around. But I'm the only normal person, and surprisingly stands up for Charlie.
Charlie gets the idea to hab3e me sty at luci's palace some because he knows how to travel between worlds I guess, and kinda be a liaison for the hotel. And while im staying I get to know him more including our shared love of ducks and failed relationships (well my LACK of relationships).
Luci is prideful thinking im jist another conquest but i reject his advances. It's the first time he isn't cuckolding someone else and at a loss what do modern women like? And me? How the fuck a short ass bitch like Luci can be so...chill? When he isn't being an ass.
Thought our time Lulu teaches me how to take risks and be more assertive, while I try to teach him he can't blame every bad thing that happens to him on God & humanity. It's a peaceful existence.
Well as peaceful as two comically depressed ducks are.
Months later, I get taken by the angels bc The Ancestors learned I got stuck in hell and sent a request for a rescue mission. I hate it. While I'm staying I heaven I realize i still have an attachment to the hotel and isn't ready to leave.
During the extermination I escape with the help of Molly and try to help. I see Adam about to kill Charlie and I throw a brick at him, proceeding to argue with him. Adam thinks luci's brainwashed me and tries to purify me. That's when luci saves my ass.
A brief fight ensues, Luci outs me somewhere safe and i watch as he and charlie kick ass. At the end we kiss and it starts out pretty tame then we get REALLY into it - I'm talking frenching, me lifting that gremlin by the ass, and everyone looking at us like we're doing it right in front of their salads. Once We cleanup the hotel, we take a one month hiatus where all we do is eat, sleep, fuck, cry out our sorrows, and troll people online.
At the end, I chose to stay in hell so i can continue my path to self actualization. The Ancestors aren't 5000% onboard but understand i need to do it as part of my healing process. I tell luci i don't plan on becoming his new queen anytime soon; luci's other issue seems to be rushing things, and i still need time to get comfortable with my self sensuality & last earthly wishes.
Lilith is NOT going to be the bad guy i stg im sick of the hazbinverse making the moms nonexistent or a stella clone. So even tho lili isn't married anymore she still looks out for her daughter and kingdom. Lilith's greatest fear is charlie falling to the extermination squads. Or worse, getting taken by Adam. It's a source of trauma for her. Hell she doesn't even want me to be his target. He's that one guy all the women avoid. We go bar hopping with Eve & Hera (yes my greek patron goddess exists, EVERYONE IS HERE!)

ooc; TOA Anniversary Munday!
Celebrating TOA and the people who contribute to make our group what it is.
Repost, don't reblog. Only fill in what you feel comfortable sharing!
Happy anniversary, TOA! Here's to many more years spent together.
tagging: you know
---
Name: Neku
Pronouns: he/him/his [starting to consider they/them]
Birthday (no year): February 24
Where are you from? What is your time zone? Northeastern USA; EST
Roleplay experience: ~1.5 years, starting with Puyo Puyo Tumblr RP (yes I am serious) that led to friends recommending me to try FE indie RP. I went on hiatus for a few years but am back in closed RP form.
Got any pets? I only had some short-lived goldfish when I was veeery young
Favorite time of year: Winter
Some interests and things you like: Math (ew), gaming, music, golf
Some funfacts & trivia about you: Okay how did I miss this my first time uhh I try to do competitive gaming in Smash and Splatoon! Also I had a very brief time of playing drums when I was younger but now I just keep the rhythm to myself.
What non-Fire Emblem games do you play? Smash Bros, Splatoon, TWEWY, Touhou Project, and (most current delusion) Kiseki/Trails
Favorite Pokemon type & Pokemon: Fighting, Empoleon (this one is too hard)
How did you get into Fire Emblem? Older brother has exposed me to many franchises I liked, with this time being him showing me a bit of FE7 on his totally legal GBA. From there I eventually played it myself but first got to complete Awakening later on and it snowballed from there.
What Fire Emblem games have you played? All of them barring FE1, 3, 5, and Three Hopes. FE4 is also technically there but I have attempted to start it many times; oh and FE12 as well.
First Fire Emblem game: Blazing Blade
Favorite Fire Emblem game: Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
Any Fire Emblem crushes? I think Lyn was my first due to FE7 being my first game (very creative I know), and now currently Ayra is probably within my walls
If you’ve played the following games, who was your first S support? - Awakening: Tiki - Fates: Kagero - Three Houses: I literally cannot remember and am too lazy to check but let's just say Shamir - Engage: Ivy
Favorite Fire Emblem class: Promoted mages, specifically Sage
If you were a Fire Emblem character, what would be your class? Probably General because I'm too big.
If you were a Three Houses character, what would be your affiliation? Blue Lions
If you were an Engage character, which Emblem would you Engage with? Sigurd would be my pure gameplay pick, but Ike would be really fun to vibe with [he's probably my favorite lord behind Alm!]
How did you find TOA? Short story: N. Longer-ish story: I started to desire trying to RP again, especially with my rekindled interest in FE thanks to Engage's reception, and then I begun hanging out with N more and he told me more about this place. Yeah, said it was only longer-ish.
Current TOA muses: Mae, Sonya
Who was your first TOA muse? If you don’t have them anymore, could you see yourself picking them up again? Mae is someone I saw (not too highly) placed on 2022-2023's Most Wanted list and I knew I wanted to do an Echoes muse to start. I don't know if they mesh with my own personality/style well, but they are definitely fun to play around with still. :>
Have you had any other TOA muses? Shamir was a short project that got smashed up due to a busy summer/nerves, but I do want to visit her again someday. Her voice and personality is very strong, but might not be for me.
Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? Magic cool. Pegasus knights cool. Sword people cool! Personality-wise, I think I try to veer more toward social muses, which like I said w/ Mae doesn't really fit me in real life but...hehe.
What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? I'm still trying to find a general vibe, but I really do like writing scenarios that deep-dive into muses' thoughts, like...not 100% angst, but still not light?
Favorite TOA-related memory: I'm still young but running in right as everyone started kissing each other and being able to join was...very good.
Got any delusions that didn’t see the light of day in TOA that you’d like to share? I somewhat shown off my more out-there delusions via tier lists (highlights being Yglr from a very brief attempt to bandwagon from FEH Book II hype before reminding myself why I hate bandwagoning) and I made my interest in Citrinne pretty public, but currently (when I am NOT getting absorbed into Alm-route side material oh god spare me please) I am desiring Anna Fire Emblem. No specification on which one, because that's part of the fun for me too :)

Having friends over tomorrow night for a pumpkin carving party and we’re gonna order everyone pizza and have mulled wine/cider and cupcakes for everyone :) I started a book club after so many I joined were disappointing and we meet in two weeks, Im so excited for that and to hopefully grow it and meet new people! One of my oldest friends Ive known since we worked at a movie theater together moved back to the bay recently and she and I loved going to trivia nights at dive bars together. When we went together, even if other people were on our team, if she and I were together we’d almost ALWAYS either win or come super close to winning and as soon as she moved away I couldnt win anymore with other configurations of friends lol. She was my magic trivia partner! Now that she’s back I want to take her and a group to reunite our trivia team again. Friendsgiving is happening later this month at our friends home who live in the santa cruz mountain with their little queer family. I love this time of year! Feeling nourished from the plans in motion I have to see people I love

How to not be a shitebag and actually go outside and talk to people? I’m the same anon that asked if it was okay to go to a gay bar on your own but now realising that I can’t go to a club without seeming like a creep.
I just want some friends.
Sorry I’m a bit tipsy and want advice from a fellow Scottish queer.
I'm telling you mate, you're not at all automatically a creep for going places by yourself. Like, quick list of things which make you look like a shitebag in clubs:
- sexually and/or verbally and/or physically bothering folks after they've indicated they're uncomfortable
Kinda it! Other than that everyone's there, most folk are drinking, everyone's doing their thing, most folk are happy to meet new people
Look for stuff that you like! Do you like books? Most (especially smaller or independent) bookshops and also most libraries in my experience will do some kind of book clubs, new book launches, talks with authors, that kind of thing. Do you like music, poetry, etc? Check out open mic nights! Do you like films? Smaller cinemas and some bars do screenings of old favourite movies that are typically very relaxed and fun. Do you like board games or ttrpgs? Loads of places do board game nights and every one I've ever seen has had newbie nights or free to play sessions as well as any regular, like, Tuesday Magic The Gathering guys. Do you like drag? Drag shows. Trivia? Me n my friends once adopted a one person pub quiz team cause she was so determined to do well.
Show up! You might make a friend, you might learn a bit about how these kind of social interactions and spaces work and be able to build on that for the future, worst case scenario you see a thing you think is cool and then go home, which is still at least as fun as just staying home in the first place.
I know events sound daunting but the thing about them is, everyone is there for the same thing. If you're in a random cafe like "who here likes ghibli movies" it's unlikely people will be inclined to engage. If that cafe is hosting a ghibli movie night, EVERYONE THERE will be DELIGHTED to talk about their favourite ghibli movies. It gives you instant commonality.
Making new friends in new spaces is scary but I guarantee if you go to things just because you like them, you'll have a blast and friendships will happen. There's one local show I went to for the first time purely on the recommendation of a friend who was performing, so I was in the crowd alone not knowing anyone; now I go every time its on and have about a dozen people where we recognise and greet each other fondly, because we know each other as people who have fun at this show and like to talk about it. It's that simple, really.
It can be scary and lonely and I don't have even half of all the answers, but truly, this is my best advice.
And if you ever run into me out there, I can't promise I'm a great friend, but I'll definitely stand you a drink, alright?

Hi, so I was reading your tags on Phoenix-downer’s post about the Mark of Mastery exam, and in it you said you didn’t think Sora, Riku or Aqua had the makings of a Keyblade master, and I was wondering what you would consider that to look like? Obviously, Eraqus and Yen Sid were going off of different criteria (Eraqus very much appreciated Aqua’s strict adherence to the light dogma) so I do agree that, if we’re going on knowledge we are aware of now, Aqua at the beginning of BBS didn’t really deserve the mark. But I think Riku especially earned it after all he went through with both light AND dark in DDD? So I’m curious to know why you don’t think any of them were worthy of being master.
Really, I think the biggest issue that I have with the whole thing is that there is no standardized criteria for what constitutes a Master in canon. What does being a Keyblade Master even mean? Combat ability? That's essentially all we've seen it being judged by, anyway, barring Eraqus's "use darkness and fail instantly" metrics, but the title of Keyblade Master is treated with more gravitas than just “can hit Heartless good.” They become community leaders, teachers, and are expected to be the best of the best of what Keyblade Wielders have to offer, and yet none of this is reflected in the tests we see
Take another series, like Pokemon, as an example. Usually the goal is to become the Pokemon Champion. This has very specific criteria! You have to prove yourself to the eight Gym Leaders (or local equivalent, like the Alolan Island Trial Captains/Kahunas), local masters of their chosen elemental type, then you're challenged to defeat the four strongest battlers in the region and any current holder of the Champion title all in a row, with no breaks. Even the Gyms all have specific criteria to pass and claim your mastery over them, and care is (usually) taken to ensure that the task you’re given challenges your knowledge of that specific Gym's featured elemental type. Thus, you could say that a Pokemon Champion is one who has displayed mastery over all of the Pokemon types, who has excellent tactical and leadership skills, who has good endurance, and who has knowledge of the region’s local fauna and their abilities in order to put together a competent team
But "Keyblade Master" has nothing backing it as a title. Therefore, I have to come to my own conclusions about what should constitute "mastery." What criteria shows an all-encompassing knowledge of the art of Keyblade wielding and the skill at executing it, as well as demonstrating qualities that befit the societal role that a Keyblade Master must uphold?
What I've come up with, based on what we've seen a Keyblade Master's duties to include in canon, are these:
Combat Ability: As in canon, I do agree that this is important to test, but I don't feel that either test goes as far with this as they need to. Obviously they have to be proficient with high-level magic and sword techniques, but the Keyblade isn't just a sword. It has unique properties that set it apart. Being able to transform it should be a mandatory technique to learn and test - it's so useful! As is knowing how to utilize its ability to return to the wielder's hand. Honestly, they should all at least be able to perform some sort of Strike Raid. How can you call yourself a Master if you don't know how to use even the most basic skills that come packaged in?
Keyblade Knowledge: Unironically, I think there should be a portion of the exam dedicated to just... Keyblade trivia? Things like "how do you perform a bequeathing?" and "how are Keychains created/utilized?" You should know the basic functioning of it. Now that they've added things like upgrading Keyblades to the series, I would also argue that Keyblade Masters should be tested on that, as well, though I'd hardly judge our canonical candidates for not showing this during their tests since it was only introduced as a concept in KHx/KHUx and KH3. I'd also be open to removing it as a piece of criteria if they introduced some split between "Keyblade Combat Masters" and "Keyblade Forging Masters" the way there's a difference between master swordfighters and master swordsmiths, but until then, I think that a Keyblade Master should have master-level knowledge of all things Keyblade
Community Interaction: This is where I might start getting contentious, but it's actually based on Yen Sid's exam. What are we always shown Keyblade wielders doing? Going out into communities to defend them from Heartless/Unversed/Nobodies. As far as we can tell, this is their primary function. Therefore, all Keyblade wielders should be able to interact amicably with locals of any flavor, adapt to any environment, and manage combat without negatively impacting the locale and civilians. Keyblade Masters should be able to uphold this to a high degree
Leadership Skill: Also a possibly contentious one, but Keyblade Masters are usually expected to take on apprentices and are looked up to as authority figures, so a prospective Keyblade Master should be able to take charge, make good decisions (sometimes in the moment), and command a team to an effective outcome
The above four points should together demonstrate an all-encompassing knowledge of the Keyblade, both its combat techniques and non-combat uses, as well as the skill necessary to accomplish the shown role that Keyblade Masters occupy in the worldbuilding. So how do our three Masters and prospective Master stand up?
Aqua is barely tested on her combat abilities. While she probably does reach Master-level abilities by the end of the game (or 0.2 at the latest), she absolutely does not have them when she’s tested. I believe the only transformation we see her use is the Glider, which I’ll give her is a start, but I don’t think it shows Master-level use of the skill. It’s hard to test her on knowledge because we’re never really shown the extent of what she knows. Community Interaction-wise, she vacillates wildly. You can see excellent diplomacy skills at play with the Grand Councilwoman, but she also planned to fight a non-magical civilian family because she sensed darkness in them without properly vetting their threat level because of her strict adherence to Eraqus’s “darkness is evil” teachings. And her leadership skills are also hard to judge given that we almost exclusively see her work alone, and I’m again mixed on them. Her diplomacy with the Grand Councilwoman would suggest good leadership skills, but the way that she deals with Ven and Terra and can’t get either of them to follow her lead (and in places actively puts Terra off by acting accusatory) says otherwise
Final Verdict: Failure on combat until 0.2, inconclusive on knowledge, community interaction, and leadership skills
Terra, too, is barely tested on his combat ability, and I think we all agree that failing him for using darkness is unfair. Like Aqua, he shows the ability to transform his blade and if we include Lingering Will, passes her in skill with this by the end of BBS. This is especially true by KH2/KH3 with the various transformations the Lingering Will utilizes. While it’s also hard to judge Terra on Keyblade knowledge, I’d say that his usage of a proper bequeathing puts him ahead of Aqua (at least for our judging). His ability to interact with people and adapt to a new world is actually one of the aspects I think is most overlooked about Terra; he doesn’t make snap judgements about residents and has the good judgement to observe and play things by ear. You can see the way that he handles the Evil Queen and Captain Hook for proof. He’s able to get on decently well with heroes and villains alike. The one strike against this is Maleficent manipulating him, displaying a lack of wariness early on that he grows out of by the end of the game. As for leadership skill, that’s hard to say as he’s never really in a situation to display it that I can recall
Final Verdict: Failure on combat until the end of BBS, inconclusive but veering towards passable knowledge, above average community interaction skills, inconclusive leadership skills. Better than Aqua in most regards, but still not passing on all fronts and especially not when tested
Sora is, I would say, the one most advanced in his combat abilities at the time of testing. He shows a high level of skill in a variety of techniques, and the one thing he really lacks is knowledge of Keyblade transformation uses, which is quickly remedied in KH3, where he demonstrates the greatest variety of any character to date save possibly the Lingering Will. He probably rates low on knowledge, though (and can you really blame him? He’s self-taught and Yen Sid sure as hell won’t help him). I’d like to give him points for knowing how to upgrade Keyblades or Keychain creation with Ultima Weapon, but these are presented as services offered by the Moogles and not something Sora knows. Community interaction is one of his most demonstrated skills, and the one thing I think you can fault him on is being a little loose-lipped in regards to other worlds (though I didn’t acknowledge secrecy as one of my criteria, so I’ll let it pass). Sora can befriend nearly anyone, gather information on his surroundings through them, and generally adapts once he has local information at hand. Leadership skills can also be seen in the way that he handles Donald, Goofy, and any additional party members, though he does sometimes fold when at odds with someone who outranks him in the Keyblade hierarchy
Final verdict: High marks on combat (if not during DDD then at least by KH3), potential failure on knowledge, high marks on community interaction (potentially brought down by a lack of wariness, much like Terra, if DDD’s interaction with Young Xehanort and Xigbar are an indication), and passable-to-high marks on leadership. An excellent showing, but he still fails one of my categories, though not through any fault of his own
Riku is the big one that I think people might fight me on, but hopefully my explanation will make sense. He does have high combat skill, that’s true, and even has an edge due to his unique usage of darkness skills, but he lacks knowledge of certain Keyblade-exclusive abilities, like transformation. His level of knowledge is inconclusive as he’s also self-taught, though I may give him some credit for knowing how a bequeathing works assuming he can remember the specific details of how it was done to him. Community interaction can be pretty clearly demonstrated in DDD. He’s very much passable and doesn’t give away as much as Sora, but is hardly incredible at it. He’s not as outwardly personable, but is fairly observant of his surroundings. It’s a different type of information-gathering than Sora, though no less effective. His real problem is a level of social unawareness that can make it hard to gather allies in a pinch. Which leads to the next point: Leadership. This is where I give Riku a big failure. I don’t feel that he shows any notable leadership qualities. He lacks any charisma to get others to follow his orders, nor does he seem to particularly care to place himself into a leadership position. What has he ever ordered around, Dream Eaters? They’re not exactly known for being particularly hard to work with. What does he do in KH3 now that he’s a Master? ...whatever Mickey and Yen Sid tell him to. The one time I think he’s taken a leader-like role was telling Kairi she can’t come to Quadratum, but then he immediately leaves on his own with no backup or foreknowledge, which is stupid. He doesn’t make leader-like decisions, he will choose to work solo or with a single partner wherever he can, and I can’t even say that he shows any diplomacy like Aqua does
Final verdict: I’ll let him pass on combat skills, as while not knowing transformations deducts points, inventing his own darkness-wielding techniques earns them back in my eyes. Potentially passable on knowledge and if not it’s not really his fault, passable on community interaction (although he could step it up a bit), but a failure on leadership
Also, this is just me, but I personally would have rescinded his Master title the second he broke his Keyblade in KH3 and then just ditched it in the Realm of Darkness and replaced it without a second thought. The level of disrespect for that which has allowed you to become what you are is incredible. Aqua somehow managed to survive in there for a decade while keeping the Master Defender from harm, but Riku breaks his in ten minutes? Additionally, if he had the Keyblade knowledge that I listed as one of my criteria, then he would probably know how to fix it
So the way I see it, none of them should really be Masters. Eraqus’s test is completely worthless and I feel like his “youngest prospects in years” thing says less about their skill and more about his exceptionally low standards. Yen Sid’s exam full of simulated worlds is actually a very good starting point that tests combat ability, community interaction skills, and leadership all at once. I could easily see future Mark of Mastery exams utilizing the Datascape in much the same way that Yen Sid used the Sleeping Worlds. He just needs to have a much better monitoring system in place and maybe supplement it with a written exam
It’ll be interesting to see how all of this holds up in a couple of weeks if Dark Road decides to show the exam that Xehanort and Eraqus took. Maybe I’m on the mark with how I judge things, maybe I’m very off the mark. I do think that it’s very important that we establish strict criteria, though, and know that I do consider Riku close to what I would qualify as a Master, the same as Sora. But both of them are very lacking in at least one key area at the time of their tests, and Riku in particular shows no improvement in that area upon being made a Master. Is he adaptable and determined? Yes, absolutely. Can he act authoritatively among others and rally them towards a common cause while respecting their individual skills? Not particularly. Can he teach? He’s never demonstrated the ability to
Riku’s an excellent fighter who’s good at navigating around various worlds and is one of the best Keyblade wielders that they have at this point in time. He’s just not a good fit for the role of a Master and, while I think he can grow into it (maybe by learning some respect for his weapon), he’s not there yet at the time of his testing and still isn’t there by KH3. Well, to me, anyway. Though I do think that my criteria are fair for such a prestigious title and are, ultimately, derived from the roles we see Masters occupy in-game

Age: 18
Height: 6'8"
Sex: Male
Gender: Cismale (he/him)
Sexuality: Romeric
Relationships: Mugman (younger brother), Ernest (love interest), Unnamed mother, Unnamed father
Type of Toon: Paint Magic toon
Likes: Quiet time, reading, cozy areas, family time
Dislikes: Exessively presumptuous people
Strengths: Resilience
Weaknesses: Absent-minded, no significant strength
𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕒:
~ Cuphead's gender is leaning towards demiboy, but is still questioning his gender
~ Cuphead is the main character of this series. He ended up accidentally making a deal with the devil, who disguised himself as a regular toon at Catreena's bar. Now he needs to bring back the Devil's contracts that his runaway debtors still have (which requires fighting. A lot of fighting) or he loses his soul.
~ He ended up getting help from other toons over time, which are Ingrid/Riddi, Ernest, Catreena, and eventually Boris, Jesto, Allison and even his little brother Mugman
~ Cuphead is 18 years old
~ Cuphead's real name is Carson Suramicson, but he prefers Cuphead because that was the nickname that was given to him from various people throughout his life
~ He sometimes visits Catreena's bar to get a drink when he's either upset or feels like talking to someone
~ Cuphead spends time in his head usually, which makes him mostly unaware of his surroundings
~ Cuphead grew up without a father and left his mother at an early age so he actually feels kinda hurt when people make a motherless/fatherless joke towards him
~ Cuphead isn't depressed, he's just tired/calm. He's actually visibly more witty and talkative when he's in a good mood.
~ Cuphead is rather wary of Bendy, since he made a deal with the Devil and now Riddi has made a deal with a demon, Bendy.
~ Since Cuphead didn't really have much of a mother figure, he sees Catreena as sort of a mother figure and once even called her mom on accident
Tumblr media
Name: Mugman
Species: Mug-headed toon
Role: Supporting character
Age: 8
Height: 3'7"
Sex: Male
Gender: Cismale (he/him)
Sexuality: Unlabeled

Type of Toon: Paint Magic toon
Likes: Nature, literature, savory foods, quality time with the group
Dislikes: Insensitive jokes, drama, pushyness
Strengths: Maturity, Intelligence
Weaknesses: Vulnerability, innocence
𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕒:
~ Mugman's real name is "Michael Suramicson"
~ Mugman is Cuphead's little brother, who ironically is the smarter one, so there are times where Mugman has to remind Cuphead about some things and such
~ Mugman ended up joining the group later than most of the toons there because Cuphead didn't want to have him get hurt
~ Mugman is 8 years old
~ Mugman is more mature than the average adult, but he's still a kid
~ He spends most of his time reading books (mostly about the environment, plant life, or just life in general. But he avoids the news because there is usually nothing but negative stuff in it)
~ Mugman usually puts himself to sleep when it's bedtime, instead of relying on an adult to tuck him in
Tumblr media
Name: Ingrid
Species: Picasso toon
Role: Supporting character
Age: 18
Height: 5'11"
Sex: Female
Gender: Genderfluid (he/they mainly)
Sexuality: Sapphic
Relationships: Unnamed mother, Bendy (potential love interest), Ernest (childhood friend)
Type of Toon: Paint Magic toon
Likes: Drawing, energy drinks, cats, rainy weather, ghosts
Dislikes: Hot days, bugs, no freedom of choice
Strengths: Perceptive, imaginative
Weaknesses: Clumsy, absent-minded, impulsive
𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕒:
~ Ingrid's common nickname is "Riddi"
~ Riddi was one of the first toons that Cuphead asked for help for because Riddi has a bit of knowledge about ink magic (but not so much paint magic) and Cuphead thought it would be helpful to use magic for his fighting
~ Riddi can do ink magic, but is competent at it, and they're definitely not an expert. They can do like two considerably good moves using ink and maybe a few minor things that are okay but still needs practice
~ Riddi likes wandering around and exploring, so they found an abandoned studio (and the studio was kinda big which peaked their interest) so after a few hours of looking around they found a fountain pen, but then a tall ink demon with wings came out and started chasing Riddi.
~ Riddi is 18 years old
~ Riddi is a great artist, they've been drawing ever since they've been able to pick up a crayon
~ Riddi is very likely neurodivergent, suspecting to have ADHD and/or autism
~ When Riddi is startled, they become shaped like a 3d polygon and stiffen like a toy. During this state they can be tipped over like a fainted goat
~ Riddi isn't supposed to be edgy as a well-written kind of way, and their past has nothing to do with it either. They simply just like dressing the way they dress.
~ Riddi is clumsy due to maladaptive daydreaming, which is mostly just accidentally bumping into people or bumping their side on the corner of a table
~ Riddi likes Witchcraft and Paganism (explaining the necklace), but doesn't believe in any specific god or goddess, and isn't religious
~ Riddi is always seen wearing a choker and their signature pentacle necklace
~ Riddi has an awful memory. They could think of one thing to say but as soon as they think of something else for even 5 seconds, the previous thought just disappears
~ Riddi's design is based off of ENA
Tumblr media
Asha: Ernest
Species: Dog Toon
Role: Support Character

Dislikes: Hot weather, loud/repetitive noises
Strengths: Physically strong, sharp minded
Weaknesses: Little bit of a picky eater, weak at being sneaky
𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕒:
~ Caught Fritz's attention within very first sight
~ Took Cuphead and Mugman under her wing when the two were younger, because they left their parents at a younger age than intended
~ Her back doesn't actually hurt because of her chest, this is cartoon logic, what are you gonna do about it
~ She is often underestimated because of her small, overall appearance, but if something goes terribly wrong she will absolutely step in and try and solve the issue in a logical, mature manner
Tumblr media
Name: Bendy
Species: Artificial Demon toon
Role: Supporting character
Age: Early 20's (Biologically)
Height: 7'3"
Sex: Male
Gender: Agender (he/it)
Sexuality: Asexual
Relationships: Riddi (potential love interest), Jesto (foe)
Type of Toon: Ink Magic toon
Likes: Bacon soup (unironically), historic art, music
Dislikes: Jesto's entire personality
Strengths: Physical strength, expert ink magic user
Weaknesses: Cockiness, Unnecessarily honest
𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕒:
~ Two creators named Joey and Henry started a studio together to create a ginormous amusement park (basically the looney wanderers equivalent to Disneyland) called Bendy Land.
~ What started this off was Joey being very impressed by Henry's character "Bendy" which really inspired him to do all of this.
~ Once they got to actually trying to hire someone to act as Bendy, Joey has really really high standards and didn't like any of them. He wanted this theme park to be the best of all with the "real" Bendy, so he was set on bringing Bendy to life using ink magic.
~ You could say Joey wasn't a very patient man, and Henry knew this, but there was no point in trying to tell him because he also knew that Joey was really stubborn and won't stop until the job is done.
~ This resulted in Bendy's creation ending in a disaster. The ink magic had no control and brought many awful abominations to life, which led to the studio needing to be abandoned. There were a few casualties that happened during this. Joey and Henry's current whereabouts are unknown.
~ Years later, a certain Picasso toon sneaked into the studio to look around. Hours later, they found a fountain pen, and Bendy came out and started chasing them, and Riddi ran out of instinct.
~ The chasing wasn't him wanting to kill Riddi, he was more curious because he hasn't seen a non-corrupted toon in years, much less one with color.
~ After a long cat-and-mouse chase, Riddi finally got caught (because they tripped lol) Riddi found out that Bendy didn't want to harm them.
~ The two of them made a deal, that Riddi will bring Bendy outside of the Studio to be free, and in return, Bendy will be Riddi's bodyguard. Bendy was pretty desperate so he agreed. However, Riddi didn't know of Bendy's killer instinct
~ Bendy now chills in the same fountain pen that he was trapped in, but it's carried around by Riddi. They communicate through it, but most people can't hear it since most of it is just whispering.
~ Bendy can freely go in and out of the pen
~ Bendy does not have a specific age, but it's physically in it's very early 20's
~ Despite being a whole ink demon, Bendy is still quite witty in personality, coming from how he was supposed to turn out as a toon.
~ Bendy can do many forms of Ink Magic entirely due to his accidental creation, but can't control a 3rd of it
~ Bendy is allergic to cats (that includes toons like Catreena and Ernest)
~ Bendy is very sex-repulsed
~ Bendy's romantic orientation is unlabeled, but he doesn't use the label "unlabeled." If you were to put it into words, he doesn't really care about gender, but he doesn't call himself pan. He doesn't really think about it too much
~ Bendy has a strong new yorker accent
~ Bendy is really strong. He can behead someone with one hand and can put a dent twice the size of a basketball in a wall made from brick (this is because in the canon Bendy game, he beheaded the Prodjectionist with one hand)

Name: Boris
Species: Wolf toon
Role: Supporting character
Age: 40's
Height: 7'11"
Sex: Male
Gender: Cismale (he/him)
Sexuality: Straight Ally
Relationships: Allison (past girlfriend), Catreena (love interest)
Type of Toon: Ink Magic toon
Likes: Rich foods, small wildlife, spring, people who mean well
Dislikes: Heartless people
Strengths: Physical strength, biological strength
Weaknesses: Scared to hurt anything, slow-witted
𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕒:
~ Tom the Wolf was Allison's girlfriend before the huge mistake Joey made
~ Tom was left in the studio during the inky incident, and Twisted Alice (who was born from the inky mess made by Joey) got to Tom before anyone else did. She mutated him into a large, rancid abomination (also known as Brute Boris in canon)
~ During Allison's purging years when Catreena thought Allison was dead (because she left unannounced), Allison went back to the studio not only to trap Bendy in a pen and end Twisted Alice, but to also look for Tom. She found him as Brute Boris when she got there. She was nearly killed, but Allison was able to heal him and make him into a normal (?) toon, but now only remembers his name as Boris and has no memories of being with Allison.
~ Allison still had business to attend to, and there was nothing Boris would be able to do, and he doesn't even remember being with her, so she let him go out into the toon world.
~ Then Boris found his way to the town where Catreena worked and Cuphead lived, and Catreena and Boris fell in love.
~ When Allison came back and Catreena, Allison and Boris united, there was awkward drama between them and Catreena needed a break. ~ Boris is a certified Himbo
Tumblr media
Name: Allison
Species: Angel toon
Role: Supporting character
Age: 40's
Height: Unspecified
Sex: Female
Gender: Cisfemale (she/her)
Sexuality: Lesbian
Relationships: Catreena (wife), Boris (past boyfriend), Bendy (foe)
Type of Toon: Ink Magic toon
Likes: Spending time with her loved ones
Dislikes: Bendy, people who cause trouble on purpose
Strengths: Cautious, planning skills, weaponry knowledge
Weaknesses: Paranoid, cautious to a fault, easily angry
𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕒:
~ Allison Angel was a toon that used to work in Joey's studio, and during this time, she was married to Tom, and was lucky to get out alive during the incident. However, Tom was left in there.
~ Both Tom and Allison inspired Henry to make "Boris" and "Alice"
~ Some years after the incident, Allison and Catreena met and eventually got married.
~ One day however, Allison disappeared. This left Catreena heartbroken, and eventually she came to the conclusion that Allison was dead.
~ However, months after the group formed, Allison came back. All those years that she had been gone, Allison had been taking care of things that needed to be done at the abandoned studio. Purging any left over evil that could have manifested over time that would eventually grow and leave the studio, and she was searching the world for any other imperfect inky creatures that could have left other than Fritz. She basically worked as a bounty hunter.
~ Fritz was an inky anthropomorphic toon that had been born from the disaster created by Joey, and had been able to escape. Fritz's existence is what had brought Allison to do what she did for all those years.
~ During Allison's purging years, when she was in the studio, she was the one that trapped Bendy in the pen because it was something Allison had considered the biggest of all inky threats.
~ When Allison saw that Bendy was in the group for the first time, she nearly plunged the spear she had into him, but those in te group stopped her because he hasn't actually done anything wrong. Allison still thinks that Bendy is trying to trick the group in some way (so now it's kind of a Vaggie-Alastor thing going on)
~ Bendy probably mocks Allison just to pick on her
~ Allison only let's Catreena nickname her, which is "Al" or "Ally," but when other people call her those, she tells them "It's Allison." In a straightfoward, hard way.

Name: JestÖ

Height: 7'5"
Sex: Male
Gender: Male + Xenogenders (he/it/clown)
Sexuality: Pansexual
Relationships: Riddi (accidental creator), Bendy (enemy)
Type of Toon: Paint Magic toon
Likes: Practicing contortion, his audience, outgoing people
Dislikes: People who try and ruin his fun, Bendy
Strengths: Flexibility, extroversion
Weaknesses: Always does his own thing, egocentric
𝕋𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕒:
~ Jesto was made when Riddi was around 15 years of age. Jesto wasn't born, but he was created using paint magic that Riddi's mother had been working on for years.
~ Riddi, (being as clumsy as they are) accidentally bumped the vile with the paint magic serum, and it fell onto the floor, and broke.
~ Luckily, the serum used to create Jesto had nearly been finished mutating by the time the serum escaped.
~ Months after Jesto's creation, Jesto created an entire circus just by his paint magic alone. The circus is simply called "JESTO'S" in giant bold letters with lights lining inside of it as the sign.
~ Jesto seems kinda creepy but in actuality he's just really extroverted and good at staying funny and not giving into negativity
~ "Ladies and gentleman! And those outside and in between of course, the show's about to start!! Are you ready?!" "no!" "Me neither!! I slept in today and I'm tired as hell but I gotta get paid today, so let's begin!!"
~ Jesto sometimes calls Riddi mother as a joke
~ Jesto and Bendy tend to bicker a lot
~ "Can you shut your piehole for five minutes clown-shit" "Oooo~! Someone's fiesty!"
~ Jesto is a contortionist, drag queen, poledancer and a ringmaster.
~ Jesto is often called "clownshit" by Bendy

Berry in the Big City Music Facts!
Some random trivia about the songs in BitBC that I learned about. continued under the cut.
1. There have been 28 episodes that feature the characters singing, but only 22 are musical episodes.
The 22 musical episodes are:
2 Strawberry Shortcake songs -No Ordinary Berry -Berry Perfect Kind of Day Part 1
3 duets between Strawberry and another berry -Lucky Berry (with Orange) -Bake-Off Part 2 (with Raspberry) -Meet Huckleberry Pie (Huckleberry Pie)
1 Orange Blossom song -Superberry
2 Lime Chiffon songs -Be Your Berry Best -Any Way You Slice It
6 group songs -Beat the Heat -Music In Our Hearts -Let The Good Times Roll -Crabapple Jam Part 2 -A Splash of Fun -Turn Things Around
4 holiday songs -Fright Fall -Berry Merry Melody -Scary-oke -The Magic is You
2 Aunt Praline songs -Berry Bounty Banquet Part 1 -Bad Day Blues
1 Purple Pieman song -Peculiar Purple Partner Part 1
1 Cherry Jam song -Find Your Voice
The 6 non-musical episodes that feature singing in any capacity are:
Berry in the Big City Part 1 (Strawberry Shortcake briefly sings "No Ordinary Berry" before being interrupted by Aunt Praline)
New Year's Wish (Raspberry Tart sings a variation of "No Ordinary Berry" before realizing Strawberry heard her)
Keylime Time (Huckleberry Pie sings part of an unknown song to some coffee beans before Strawberry interrupts him)
Huck's New Job (Bread Pudding and Huck briefly sing "Contrary Berry" at the end)
Best New Year's EVER (Orange Blossom sings part of "Contrary Berry")
Sweet and Sour (Sour Grapes sings part of an unknown song before being interrupted by Strawberry)
While Meet Huckleberry Pie and Music in Our Hearts also briefly feature "Lost Little Berry" sung by Huckleberry, these examples are not counted as Huck sings a full song in the same episodes.
2. Lost Little Berry, Contrary Berry, Raspberry's New Year's song, Huck's coffee bean song, and Sour's song are the only songs in BitBC to never be heard in full.
3. Of the 8 main characters, Lemon Meringue, Blueberry Muffin, Bread Pudding, and Sour Grapes are the only main characters who have not received a musical episode that focuses on them. So far, they have only sung in group songs.
4. Bread Pudding is the only main character who has NEVER been heard singing without another berry accompanying him. Berry Merry Melody, Huck's New Job, Beat The Heat, Let The Good Times Roll, Scary-Oke, Sweet Victory, A Splash of Fun, and Turn Things Around all have him sing as part of an ensemble or in a duet with someone else (usually Huckleberry)
5. This is a bar graph comparing each character and the number of episodes they've sung in (as of Turn Things Around).
Tumblr media
As you can see, Strawberry has sung the most at 22 times, while Sour Grapes has the lowest at 7.
6. Huckleberry Pie is the only main character whose debut is also a musical episode.
7. Purple Pieman, Aunt Praline, and the Berry Fairies are the only non-main characters to receive music episodes, being villain, supporting, and minor characters respectively.
Aunt Praline has 2 full songs (Berry Bounty Banquet Part 1 and Bad Day Blues)
Purple Pieman technically has 2 songs, but his second is the intentionally bad rap he had in Hot, Fresh, and Trending, which was not a music episode
The Berry Fairies also technically have 2 songs, Find Your Voice and Contrary Berry (which is stated to be theirs by Orange Blossom in Best New Year's EVER), however, none of the Fairies have ever been heard singing the latter song.
8. Sherry Bobbleberry, despite being the Berry Fairies' (former) lead singer, is the only member of the band who did not sing at any point. Ironic, ain't it?
9. The episodes where each character first sings are:
Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City Part 1 (first song), No Ordinary Berry (first musical episode)
Orange Blossom: Fright Fall
Lemon Meringue: Fright Fall
Lime Chiffon: Fright Fall
Blueberry Muffin: Fright Fall
Raspberry Tart: Berry Merry Melody, New Year's Wish (solo voice)
Huckleberry Pie: Meet Huckleberry Pie
Bread Pudding: Berry Merry Melody
Sour Grapes: Berry Merry Melody, Beat The Heat (solo voice)
10. The only musical episode where only one berry sings is Peculiar Purple Partner Part 1, as Purple Pieman is the lone singer for the entire song. Every other song in Berry in the Big City is an ensemble, a duet, or a solo with backup/additional singers.

Aca Top 10: Summer Hits 2014 — VoicePlay music video
youtube
After the whirlwind schedule of the first Sing-Off tour, completing several video projects it spawned, and then embarking on a series of cruise ship gigs, VoicePlay were ready for some summertime relaxation. For the first installment in their "Aca Top 10" series, they put together a countdown of recent chart-toppers. Recording it live meant that, once they got a good take, there was very little post-production required.
Details:
title: Aca Top 10 — Summer Hits 2014
original songs / performers: "Happy" by Pharrell Williams; [0:15] "Summer" by Calvin Harris; [0:32] "Turndown for What" by DJ Snake & Lil John; [0:42] "Wiggle" by Jason Derulo, featuring Snoop Dogg; [0:58] "All of Me" by John Legend; [1:13] "Stay with Me" by Sam Smith; [1:30] "Am I Wrong" by Nico & Vinz; [1:48] "Rude" by Magic!; [2:03] "Problem" by Ariana Grande, featuring Iggy Azalea; [2:22] "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea, featuring Charli XCX

arranged by: Geoff Castellucci & Layne Stein
release date: 11 August 2014
My favorite bits:
Tony's aura of genuine enjoyment during "Happy"
Geoff and Layne's concerned reactions to the beginning of "Wiggle"
Earl and Eli whistling in flawless harmony
Layne gazing wistfully into the distance during "All of Me" because there's no percussion for him to do
the sincerity in their voices during "Stay With Me", and Earl's gorgeous high riffing
the cute "Did you know they were from Canada??" note on the sign for "Rude"
♫ "We're gonna give you some number 2." ♫ ::awkward pause::
the perfect fading echo effect at the beginning of "Problem"
Layne spitting bars once again on "Fancy"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Trivia:
Earl made the title-and-artist signs that Layne holds up. (I assume he also made the butts for "Wiggle", but that particular detail wasn't specified.)
"Rude" was part of the "aca-Disney mashup" VoicePlay recorded a few months later as part of the Disney on Broadway 20th anniversary celebration.
They later performed a full version of "Stay With Me" for their VIP sessions during the 2015 Sing-Off tour, and recorded a video for it while they were on the road.
"Wiggle" was also included in Home Free's "Butts Remix" medley, which Layne helped them arrange.
A very speedy creator made a My Little Pony fanvid using the audio from this medley in less than a week.
