though he disguises them as jokes, mork's flirting techniques are very out there. the things he says and does are so obviously flirting (demonstrating he can be tender, "it is soft") that without adding a bit of a laugh in his voice he'd be completely revealing his feelings.
day, on the other hand, flirts through teasing comments, he uses a lot of sass but also a big part of it is him responding to mork's physical advances (always staying in the moment a bit too long), his way of covering up is pulling away when mork's effect on him becomes too obvious.

Obsessed with the image of Mork being little spoon and just resting in Day's arms while they are lying under the same blanket. Like a parallel to nong Vice Versa
NONG VICE VERSA IM SFJKSHFKGSKGDJ SCREAMING PLEASE THAT'S SO CUTE AND AFFECTIONATE I LOVE IT
ALSO YOU AND ME BOTH ANON LIKE MORK BEING THE LITTLE SPOON IS LITERALLY SO POWERFUL AND VISIONARY. and it's both that /and/ day being the big spoon. i know the result is the same so one would think there's no point in stating that, but i just love what it says about the characters and their relationship
on one hand you have mork who is older and has the role of the caretaker, but who has also struggled alone for a long time and is constantly made to feel inferior by society, while on the other you have day who is younger and has had a more sheltered life but that doesn't make him timid or naive. and idk i just love the picture that this paints in my head. mork isn't shy by any means but he has a lot of self doubts and most of the time he thinks that day deserves someone better than him, which makes him hesitant in a lot of things, while day has nothing that holds him back. he's gonna touch mork's face and hold him at night and bare his teeth at him and all these gestures are both claim and reassurance: you are mine and i am yours
and eventually mork is gonna look at day's arms wrapped around him and finally start to believe it

TTRPGs As Terrariums For Blorbos
One thing that I think isn't covered enough in TTRPG recommendations is styles of play.
There's a lot of "this game has this tone," or "this game is this amount of crunchy," but less "what are you playing towards?"
In games like Microscope and I'm Sorry Did You Say Street Magic? and The Quiet Year, you're playing to see what happens to the setting.
In games like Mork Borg and Into The Odd and Mothership, you're playing to see how far your character can get.
And in a lot of games, you're playing to create a blorbo, an OC, just a little guy, and the soul of the gameplay is the story of who your guy is and who your guy becomes.
This is blorbo style play.
And the thing about styles of play is that you can apply them to any game, even games that aren't really built to enable them. So I wanted to take a moment to shine a spotlight onto some games that do specifically enable you to fully blorb out. (I'll try to cover a mix of genres and tones, but the rpg scene is vast so if you have a favorite that I missed please feel free to shout it out in the replies.)
-Golden Sky Stories. This is the English translation of the Japanese TTRPG Yuuyake Koyake. You play as shapeshifter kids and spirits in a small town and, instead of tracking EXP, the thing that you carry from session to session is your relationships with other characters. The tone of the game is heartwarming, and if combat happens, both sides lose. There can be emotional turmoil, but this isn't a game where you have to worry about bad things happening to your blorbo.
-New World Of Darkness. On the other hand, let's say you *want* bad things to happen to your blorbo. You want to play a guy that's really going through it. If you also like modern supernatural stories, New World Of Darkness was built for you. Characters in NWoD can be entirely non-combat, or a literal werewolf, or a noncombat werewolf. The game places a lot of emphasis on navigating through the setting socially, as its supernatural creatures tend to run in factions and starting a fight usually means making a bunch of enemies.
-Pasion De Las Pasiones. Of course, not everyone wants a fantastical setting. Sometimes good old melodrama is hearty and comforting. Pasion De Las Pasiones is a playable telenovela, and it encourages you to play your characters bold and recklessly. Every class even has a built-in Meltdown, where if you're pushed to the edge they become extra reckless, ensuring a broad fallout of messy drama when they do manage to calm down.
-Cortex System / Unisystem. Perhaps you want to drop your blorbo into an existing fictional universe? But you also want stats and meaty character creation instead of just freeform roleplay? There are easily a dozen games on the Cortex engine, including Supernatural, Firefly, Smallville, Battlestar Galactica, Marvel, and Leverage. And on Unisystem, there's Buffy, Army Of Darkness, as well as a somewhat rare I Can't Believe It's Not Planet Of The Apes.
-Lancer / Gubat Banwa. If you like blorb-y play but still want a heavy side of combat, both of these games have you covered. Lancer has a sprawling scifi universe focused on mech pilots, and Gubat Banwa has a violent and lavish mythological Philippines setting. Both of these games also have stunningly beautiful artwork, so if you like seeing a setting visually come to life, these are for you.
-Fabula Ultima. My final recommendation is also an extremely gorgeous looking game. Fabula Ultima is built on the bones of Ryuutama (itself an excellent travel-fantasy game) to enable meaty, blorby Final Fantasy style campaign play. Combat is a rich and deep option in Fabula Ultima, but so is everything from spellcasting to crafting, and players have built-in resources they can spend to affect the story. If a scene isn't quite going the way you want it to, you can spend a point to nudge it in the right direction. Fabula Ultima also feels extremely complete without being too complicated.
So there you go. Eight options, and that's barely scratching the surface of the sea of blorb-y games (Seventh Sea, Exalted, Blue Rose, Legend Of The Five Rings, Coyote And Crow, Timewatch, Nahual, and more!)
It's also not wrong to play non-blorb-y games in a blorb-y way. Do whatever you're comfortable with! But you might enjoy dipping into these titles.
Finally, if you've read this far and you're somehow still looking for MORE recommendations, I wrote this game about runaway changelings trying to find their place in the world, and it's probably the blorbiest in my catalog.

What follows is a summary of the most interesting information (about Euronymous) that Marius Vold gave during an interview with Thomas Eriksen of Mork. The direct quotes are in bold, and the rest is a concise version of what was said. You should definitely check the whole interview here.
note: M is Marius, E is Euronymous, V is Varg and T is Thomas (the interviewer).
............................................
- M worked at Helvete, he made many of the medieval weapons, chain mail and clothing that can be seen in various bands' pictures in the first days of norwegian black metal - fun fact: M got scared the first time he listened to "Deathcrush" - M talked to E a few months before E opened Helvete. E told him about his idea of opening a record store and M liked it. Then one day E called M and told him to come and see the shop. When M got there he was impressed with the atmosphere but he also remembers there was almost nothing on the shelves. "They painted the whole thing black, he and Metalion, I think". - E was importing records for the store but there weren't many of them... but people came to the store and donated some of their records; everyone was contributing in some way, as a community. Some would also give them other stuff like candles, curtains, or a telephone. - "It was all black. When you came in from outside into the store you couldn't see anything. You had to stop and just wait for the eyes to focus. And the most funny thing was right inside the door there was a step up and EVERYONE tripped! [laughter] We were just sitting there in the dark and waiting for someone to come in and trip. Really fall on the floor and then point and laugh [more laughter]." - So at the beginning they got free records from their supporters, plus E through his contacts abroad managed to import some more records, and by selling them they started to make some capital, but they never actually got any money out of it because all the income was barely enough to pay the monthly rent which was around 6000 kroner. - apart from records (especially demo tapes), they would also sell the weapons that Marius and Sverd (Steinar Johnsen) made. - They would get lots of customers but "E had this idea that you shouldn't make too much money, you shouldn't be greedy, so when he sold an album for like 120kroner he's like maybe 20 kroner for him, so you can't run a record shop." So if he bought an album for 100 he would resell it for 120, but those 20 went all into the rent. "So he wasn't greedy, then?", asks T. "Absolutely not!" replies M. - The staff at Helvete was: E, M, Occultus, Thrasher, a girl named Tove and another young boy who didn't want to go to school anymore and wanted to work in Helvete, so his teacher came down to the shop one day to check the place and asked E if the kid could work there and E was like "sure". - E lived in the back room. "It was no way to live. Mattress on the floor, with all the books [...] then he found kind of a secret room in the ceiling [...] 1.20m high, so he put his bed in there, but it was so difficult to get up and down. [There was no ladder] He had to climb on the shelves and pull himself up there. I think he was glad when he finally got another place to stay when he closed the shop." - "E was a guy with a lot of ideas". "In a positive way?" asks T. "Both ways", replies M. [laughter] "He had all these thoughts about the music [...] what it should mean and the feeling around it, and it was very important for him that most people didn't like it. They shouldn't like it. Less people the better." "It's a funny way to look at things when you're trying to run a business", says T. "Yeah, but he was really not TRYING to run a business.", answers M. [more laughter] He was rather interested in enjoying the sense of community and being around like-minded people, and with time more and more people gathered around the shop, and with them came also "the wrong people". - The satanic part was just image, there was nothing "ritualistic" going on. "It was to scare the guys in the street". "The closest satanic thing was maybe lighting the candles, having a photoshoot in the basement, corpse paint, walking around in capes and stuff, but you didn't talk in old latin and write big pentagrams or anything, you know? No killing sheep...". - M never liked Burzum’s music at all - T says he knows E's girlfriend. M asks "which one?" and T replies "The last one". Then T says "I remember the first time I met her - I'm not going to use any names - but the first time I met her we were in the same room and I was talking about music, as we do, and I happened to say that I like Burzum, as a reference, and she kind of had it with me... We're friends now, there's no problem, but I understand that you guys were so close to it..." - the first time M saw V it was in Helvete. E called M and said "I have a strange guy in the store, he's been here for the whole day... just been there, you know... and he's talking about fantasy and LOTR...". E wasn't into that but knew that M was so E asked M if he wanted to come down to the store to talk to this weird guy. After talking for a night, M says about V: "He rubbed me the wrong way, he wanted everything more extreme. He was talking about 'it would be really cool to make a live with just black metal people'...ok, what's that about?... 'Just hunting each other in the forest with real swords and real knives'... ok, ok, you know I don't want my arm cut off... so I took a step back, let him just talk." - the moment V entered the picture and he became friends with E, M says was the point where everything turned to the worse. - the Black Circle - as it was indeed called at the time, according to M - was just around 10 people. They were in because of the way they looked at things, how they fitted into this cult-like vision. The members were E, M, V, Snorre, Faust, Fenriz, Ted, Occultus and Hellhammer (but he was in and out). Some people asked to get in but that's not how it worked, you needed to be considered worthy. It was essentially like a gang of friends, they would hang out in the basement and have parties, listening to metal and stuff... - Helvete closed in march '93 both because of the amount of attention from the media and because of the rent being too high. E also had some pressure from his family. He was living in the store in terrible conditions, he wanted out, so his parents basically told him that if he closed the shop, they were going to help him get a place to stay. So he accepted, deciding to concentrate more on the label. - there wasn't really any written contract between E and V, it was more a verbal deal. In the beginning V said he could pay for the whole thing, that he wanted his album to come out on DSP because he wanted to use the DSP name to get more attention. M never heard V being unhappy with the economical part and he doesn't know where the hostility came from. M doesn't remember E ever telling him why things got wrong with V. He says "V often lied about things. For me he lied a lot." - After Helvete closed, M remained in contact with both E and V but he never liked V so it was only V who called him and M just listened to V talking and then replied in a disinterested way. M recalls V telling him "If you come to Bergen and if you support me and not that fucking guy in Oslo, then I will buy more clothes from you and the chain mail and stuff". M says "I could see through that, it was just bullshit, he was saying that to butter me up". - M was informed of E's death by Hellhammer. M was shocked and kept thinking who could have done this; he couldn't figure it out but he went to the police because he had to tell them that in his opinion E must have known his murderer, since the only way to get into the apartment complex was to ring the intercom and announce yourself. Also, there was no name on E's button, so the killer must have known which one to push and E must have recognized the person, and let him in, in the middle of the night. M also says that E was very careful about that, he never let in anybody he didn't know, not even someone who claimed to be the mailman. - After E's death, M didn't have any more inspiration and didn't want to stay in the community. "I had kind of a reaction to metal after the death of E. I couldn't listen to metal for several years."

Vintage Shows to Watch While You Wait for the Next Episode of WandaVision - The 70s
Tumblr media
So Friday has come upon us again and I’m still playing catch up. I’m going to spit out the list for episode 3 before watching episode 4.
1. The Monkees (1966 - 1968)
Tumblr media
Ok, so I was real torn on the placement of this show. It’s clearly a 60s show, but the song “Daydream Believer” plays at the end of episode three giving this series a more direct link to Wandavision than most others. In the end it went here cause the 60s list was already over stuffed.
But oh how I loved the Monkees growing up. You can keep the Beetles, these were the real hotties of the 60s. Yeah they didn’t play their own instruments, but who cares, the music still sounded great and the tv show was a hilarious off the wall surreal fever dream.
2. The Brady Bunch (1969 - 1974)
Tumblr media
Often considered the last of the classic family sitcoms, The Brady Bunch, is heavily refenced in episode 3. Right down to the house Wanda and Vision are living in.
The main gimmick of the series was of a blended family trying to learn to live together. It has over time gained a cult following and a spin off series in the 80s called The Brady Brides. (which is even funnier imho)
3. Night Gallery (1970-1973)
Tumblr media
Rod Sterling’s spiritual sequel to the Twilight Zone. Night Gallery follows a similar format but is firmly in the horror camp as oppose the to sic-fi trappings of the latter.
4. The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970 - 1977)
Tumblr media
Elizbeth Olsen took great inspiration for Wanda’s character from Mary Tyler Moore and the episode three titles pay homage to this series opening credits. Other then that though there’s not much in common with Wandavision as the series is about a single woman and is firmly an office comedy not a family sitcom.
5. The Partridge Family (1970 - 1974)
Tumblr media
The only real competitors to The Brady Bunch at the time was The Partridge Family. A music loving family that becomes a a hot band sensation over night. The series focus on juggling show business with normal small town life.
6. Good Times (1974 - 1979)
Tumblr media
Arguably the first real family sitcom to feature an all back cast, Good Times is ironically a spin-off of a spin-off. First of the sitcom Maude which is itself a spin-off of All in the Family, a series which we will talk about later on. This series however focuses on the Evans family and their three teenaged children growing up in inner-city Chicago.  The series is more topical and satirical then some of the other family sitcoms on this list but still very much following the family sitcom formula.
7. Happy Days (1974 - 1984)
Tumblr media
Happy Days is a juggernaut cultural phenomenon that popularized coming of age sitcoms and , in the case of Wandavision, the trend of setting sitcoms in the past. The story focuses on teenaged Richie Cunningham as he tries to figure out life and growing up in 1950s America. The show lasted for a decade and spawned five spin offs, including the successful Laverne & Shirley and another series that’s on this list.
8.The Jeffersons (1975 - 1985)
Tumblr media
“We’re moving on up!”
In honor of Geraldine/Monica landing a promotion this episode lets look at The Jeffersons. Another spin-off of All in the Family (we’re getting to it, honest) The Jeffersons took the bold move of showing a wealthy black family on American televisions. Proving that indeed tv was ‘moving on up’ from it’s measly Amos n’ Andy days.
9. Wonder Woman (1976 - 1979)
Tumblr media
Time for the ladies to shine as well. Now there were other superhero shows on at the time, most notably Shazam, The Secrets of Isis, and The Bionic Woman, but it is the first lady of comics who has left the greatest cultural impact on society today.
10. Mork and Mindy (1978 - 1982)
Tumblr media
One of the many spin-offs of Happy Days, Mork and Mindy is a return to the quirky fantasy sitcoms of the 60s. It’s basically the plot of My Favorite Martian but with an added will they/won’t they love affair with two best friends. It’s also ten times funnier cause it stars the late, great Robin Williams in his first break out role.
Runner Ups
Now here’s a bunch of 70s shows to check out even tho they have little to do with Wandavision.
Dark Shadows (1966 - 1971)
Tumblr media
My mother was aghast that I didn’t include this in the 60s list cause it was her favorite show growing up. It’s a soap opera with vampires and other classic horror monsters. Well, it went into the 70s so I guess we can put it here.
The Odd Couple (1970 - 1975)
Tumblr media
Based off both a successful stage play and later movie, The Odd Couple is about two devoiced guys rooming with each other to make ends meet. Now say it with me, “Oh my gosh, and they were roommates!”
All in the Family (1971 - 1979)
Tumblr media
All in the Family is like the I Love Lucy or Honneymooners of its day. The series perfected and popularized the dysfunctional family trope and catapulted the formula for satire sitcoms that is still in use today with the likes of the Simpsons and King of the Hill. However it’s often mean spirited humor has little to do with Wanda’s idyllic fantasy world.
Sanford in Son (1972 - 1977)
Tumblr media
Another early satirical sitcom with a hilariously awful father, this time featuring a mostly black cast.
The Bob Newhart Show (1972 - 1977)
Tumblr media
Kind of like the spiritual successor to The Dick Van Dyke Show, but with less physical comedy and more quips.
MASH (1972 - 1983)
Tumblr media
Yeah, a dark comedy about the horrors of the Korean War has nothing to do with Wandavision but still worth a watch as it’s very powerful.
Mama's Family (1974 - 1984)
Tumblr media
The first redneck sitcom since the cancelation of Rural-verse. However this series has a more satirical bite than those shows. Getting it’s start on the Carol Burnette Show the skit about a grouchy old southern matriarch found its way to audiences televisions as it’s own hilarious half hour comedy.
And there’s loads more I could recommend but I’m going to cut things off here to save on time and possibly those later shows will make it on to the 80s list as they’re very late 70s/early 80s.

mork couldn't even say shit like this poor dude is truly just straight up stupid for pi, god, he really looks lost on what to do with pi but he keeps trying to reach him and its really so sweet but he probably was so heartbroken touching his face how would he know his brother would give him such fucking bold advice so that he should have expected a kiss, the set up was amazing tho???? the show has been playing for a while with the two brothers and how their own internal monologue tends to get out of them and with pi it doesn't twist only the idea he thinks others had of him to the point he cannot conceive having friends fr, but it also spills to his own romantic endeavors, i wonder how will he paint the world for a real romance, when mork gets the courage to tell him, how will it be for him to stop painting the world on his fears and desires and really look at people like people, i can't wait
Tumblr media
also will somebody get mork a therapist????

The Good and Bad of Fish Upon The Sky (FUTS)
SPOILER WARNING.
The Good:
At no point did this show take itself too seriously. The beauty of a romcom like FUTS is in its simplicity and its ability to deliver a wholesome message without becoming preachy. But more than that, FUTS knew what it was and never sacrificed its voice through over-sentimentality. This simple feat was a combination of two other "Goods" of the show: acting and style
While the acting in FUTS is far from the best practiced or most believable (outside of Neo), it serves a very unique purpose in this otherwise mundane story. Each actor has their own charm. From Phuwin and Neo's often overdramatic acting, to Pond's decidedly monotone approach, each actor makes their character distinct. Because of the way the characters are played, the story not only feels quite different from what many consider its spiritual twin, 2gether, but it also allows the narrative structure and editing of the story to flow unobtrusively. Even in scenes where, for example, Neo is talking to an omniscient narrator and explicitly breaking the fourth wall, viewers never feel pulled out of the story. A large part of this is because Neo, in many ways, embodied the ridiculousness of Duean and played to the editor. Put another way, he played to the outrageous, anything-goes style of the dialogue, plots, and editing, which has the effect of making the character more believable in such a ridiculous alternate universe than, say, if he were to play Duean more realistically
The style/editing and how they complement the narrative. The style of FUTS is, for lack of a better word, chaotic. From the narrative to the direction to the editing, this show has a very whacky vibe to it. One example of how each of these elements came together to produce one of the most memorable scenes in a Thai romcom BL to date, is when we are first introduced to Duean's crew in Episode 2. With the introduction of each character, we get a brief clip of their role within the group--some of the intros flat out contain references to other pieces of popular media. For example, Jeans' character auditions for the role of 2gether's Salawat, while Yok is basically Psy. At the end of the introductions, we get a JoJo reference when the guys pose dramatically in front of Pi and the moment is cartoonized in the style of JJBA. Later in the episode, while Duean is looking at his newly posted grades and sees he got 4 Fs, the narrator makes note of it, then there's a very brief cut scene to the GMM's F4 trailer lol. Another fun thing is the breaking up of the show into basically 2 parts: Mork & Pi's storyline, and the Story of the 5th Year Student. By breaking up these two storylines (rather than integrating them) by completely changing the aspect ratio, the color grading, and other visual cues, FUTS accomplishes 2 things: 1) it adds a uniqueness to the overall style of the production, and 2) it makes the ending land. Without this separation, the ending would make very little sense and the drama of it wouldn't hold as much weight. We'd constantly be asking ourselves "why are Duean and Mork fighting about Meen when they should've run into each other at some point?" With this narrative device, it shows us that the story world is quite big, and Mork and Meen, unlike Duean and Pi, live very separate lives, so the likelihood of each of them all crossing paths is very slim. This is why the reveal of Mork as Meen's brother doesn't completely miss the mark. In any other show, all of these elements might be distracting, but FUTS pulls it off with its over-the-top slapstick humor, acting, and narrative
The strange chemistry between Mork and Pi. Something about Mork's boldness and Pi's reluctant acceptance is quite compelling. I attribute a lot of it to Pond following in the footsteps of actors like Bright and Podd when they look at Win and Khaotung in 2gether and Tonhon Chonlatee. He has a way of looking so incredibly into Phuwin, like he wants to devour him, that it almost makes you forget his acting struggles elsewhere. Phuwin on the other hand, while still developing as an actor, plays Pi's insecurities relatively well. One way that this shows in when he looks at Mork as if he holds Mork in higher esteem than himself. This, oddly, manifests as romantic tension more often than not. I suspect the reason why is because often, when people hold other people in a regard higher than themselves, it's usually out of a love-based admiration (be it romantic love, friendly love, etc.)
The well-done tropes. This show is basically Tropes: The Series, but combined with the style of the show and some of the messages it sends, it gives a really exciting feeling to those tropes. One example I can think of is when Mork and Pi finally get together and decide to hide their relationship. The way they go about hiding in plain sight (such as the scene where they're having lunch together and sitting back-to-back seeming as if they're talking to themselves and not each other, or the scene where they trade snacks in the library) is honestly a highlight of the show for me
The amount of physical intimacy and where it occurs in the story. Notice I emphasized amount. The quality of the intimacy is a whole other point but the fact that we do get to see so much (especially well before episode 12) adds a layer of naturalness to the story
MorkPi's relationship-development moments and skinship were quite heavy in FUTS for it to be GMMTV production. Some that stand out are the Episode 6/7 late-night adventure scenes, pretty much all of Episode 10 where Mork is trapped in Pi's house, and Episode 2 when they go to the corpse lab to make a wish
The moral of the story. At the end of the day shipping culture can be toxic, you should NEVER pressure someone into doing things, and insecurities can't be fixed with a makeover/in only one day. Those are some damn good and well-established morals of FUTS that I can really appreciate
The fact that Pi had such a realistic character arc is simply amazing. I've never seen a character with such a relatable issue as insecurity and low self-esteem as Pi. And the fact that it impacts his relationships is very real. Moreover, the way it rears its ugly head is also very realistic and the way it doesn't just go away with a kiss from the most attractive guy in the world makes it all the more special as a character issue. Other BLs would've washed all of Pi's insecurities away but FUTS shows just how agonizing it can be to live with low self esteem and (likely) social anxiety
The OST for this show is a cut above. There are some songs I could've done without but the main theme is so good that you deal with some of the more generic cuts. Louis Thanawin is one of the better singers in Thai BL and the theme has a very smooth and catchy refrain that plays at all the right moments
The Bad:
The toilet humor. It wasn't funny when I was 10 and it still isn't funny now
Pond's stiff ass acting. I am an enjoyer of Pond's visual, but when he's not staring into Phuwin's eyes or damn near just playing himself, he's leaving a lot to be desired. I know Pangponds will @ me with all types of excuses but Pond isn't the first rookie actor in a lead role nor is he the first 19/20 year-old in a lead role. 15-year-old Ohm Pawat knocked it out of the ballpark in Make It Right, Pond just needs an acting coach--he clearly has potential (as evidenced by his argument/fight scenes with Neo)
The tragic mishandling of Bam. What the actual fuck was that? I thought ATOTS/1000stars had the dumbest 3rd Act of 2021, but turning Bam into a villain in the literal final minutes of the story 100% tops that. Hell, at least the village turning on Tian had been looming over the story since episode 1. This plot didn't even get any development. Not only did they give her a dumbass plot for irrelevant drama that was fixed in mere moments and had minimal impact on the story, they also played right into the 'evil girl is evil because she likes Top-coded character' trope. This is the second show that has misused Ms. Janhae and it's just getting weird at this point
The "character is ugly because they wear glasses and have braces" trope is annoying and will never make sense. Also, the fact that in the early episodes, Mork basically tells Pi that he likes him DESPITE the fact that he apparently has 11,000 flaws (including his braces/glasses-wearing) is mind-numbingly stupid and does absolutely nothing to help Pi's sense of self
Mork is lowkey creepy lmao. Let's be real most people excused Mork's creepiness because of the actor who played him. Not only does Pond seem like a sweet person but he might be the most handsome man on the planet. The fact that Mork was sneaking pictures of folks (a Thai BL staple lmao), finding out where Pi lives, and repeatedly showing up at Pi's house unprovoked is so strange when you really think about it. Add some ominous music to those scenes and suddenly you're no longer watching a romcom but a psychological thriller
A lot of people seemed to have issues with this show but I enjoyed almost every moment. It's the first BL I watched as it aired and I'm glad I did

They made so uwu shaped so son shaped so little. I'm not sure if i like it since i wanted Day confident , but maybe it'll change
THEY REALLY MADE DAY LOOK SO TINY AND CUTE THAT'S THE SWEETEST MOST PRECIOUS BABY IN THE WHOLE WORLD I WANT TO PET HIS HEAD AND SQUISH HIS CHEEKSIES AND GIVE HIM KISSES AND PUT HIM IN MY POCKET AND CALL HIM A GOOD BOY ALL DAY EVERY DAY
okay sorry i got carried away for a moment here ;;;;;; i do get what you mean tho, and idk if this can help in any way, but i personally think that giving day this look was a very purposeful choice, just as much as making mork look like a 'bad boy' was. sea as day gives off incredibly innocent and vulnerable vibes, so much so that everyone's first reaction while looking at him is calling him a baby and feeling like a protective parent. now think about this in the contest of the story and especially from day's mother's point of view: in her eyes, mork is the scary wolf who has come to currupt her helpless child
of course that's an extremely problematic view, especially since there's a history of people with disability being stereotyped and portrayed as angelic and childlike in movies, but i think that's exactly what the show is gonna try to challenge, because here's the other thing: looks can be deceiving. mork may look like a bad boy, but we all know he's gonna turn out to be a gentle soul with a heart of gold who wouldn't hurt a fly, and similarly i think day isn't gonna be the pure naive baby who can't take care of himself that he may appear to be to other people
if we talk about disposition, i actually fully believe that mork is gonna be the one more prone to self doubts and introspection while day, at his best, is probably gonna be very cheerful and bold SO HERE'S HOW CONFIDENT DAY CAN STILL WIN!!!!!!!!

[scenario] friends to lovers au with college student!mark
Tumblr media
hi nine! i hope you're doing great wherever you are! im super swamped with work right now so can i ask for a kinda ftl for how mark would act if he found out y/n was genuinely really beat and tired and stressed from work one night, instead of just their normal "im tired" whining they would message him normally?
☽. good luck with your work anon!! not sure if you meant a reaction or a scenario, so i decided to just go with this. everyone if you’re stressed, don’t forget to take a break (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ if you enjoyed reading this, please check out more in my masterlist! requested: yes; anon word count: 1.7k words
Tumblr media
“Hey, Markie.” At the sound of your voice calling for him, Mark’s nose scrunches up in distaste. He’s learned to no longer question the various bastardizations of his name you’ve come up with throughout your years of friendship, so there’s no way he’s irked off by the endearing “Markie” that leaves your lips. However, there’s something that bothers him with the hoarseness of your voice. And he’s certain that it has nothing to do with the relatively poor internet reception in your area. But when he hears the familiar clink of what he assumes to be a cup of coffee, he knows that you’re definitely tired.
That was the third cup of coffee you drank tonight, as far as he’s concerned. But when it comes to you, he’s always concerned.
“Mooooo--” Your voice cracks half-way through and Mark sits up straight when he hears it. His eyes finally shift away from his own school work to the laptop screen, and he sees you chugging the rest of your coffee down. As your lips leave the mug and your hand wipes the traces of coffee by your lips, he catches a glimpse of the strikingly familiar print on the sweater you’re donning.
Now he doesn’t know what to feel. The enlarged pixels do nothing to hide the bags that have accumulated under your eyes. Your hair is all over the place despite being tied down with clips and hair ties. He’s deeply saddened by your current state, but there’s something fluttering inside him when realizes that you’re wearing one of the sweaters you stole from him probably months ago.
“Morkiemoo, do you hear me?” You call out to him again after clearing your throat. “Yo, Myork.” This time, you call him a little louder and make eye contact with him through the camera. Mark, without thinking, drops his head downward to avoid your gaze.
“Maybe if you called me by actual name, I’ll respond.”
“Markileeeeeee~” You groan, and you start to sink away from the view of the camera.
He hums, eyes still avoiding the screen as he continues to jot down notes at the margins of his readings. At his response, you continue on. “I’m tired.”
At first, Mark doesn’t offer a response. He’s already expecting another yell of frustration, or perhaps a long rant about the incompetency of your peers. Though after a few seconds of waiting, he finally decides to check up on you, and his heart breaks at the sight in front of him. Your head is resting on the table, and he can hear you breathing heavily. But at the base of your neck, barely hidden by the hood, there’s a menthol strip resting on your skin. The corners are already peeling off and he can see the residue adhesive on your skin.
“You alright, (Y/N)?” He drops his pen and whisper to the microphone of his earphones. Mark watches your sluggish movements carefully and he pays attention to your breathing to see any signs of breaking down. To his surprise, you’re relatively calm. When your head whips up to face him again, you’re expressionless. Save for your glassy eyes, which Mark honestly can’t bear to look at because it makes his heart break.
“I’m really tired, Mark...” You sigh. “I’ve been doing this project for hours and I seriously don’t understand how to do it. Everyone seems to be doing fine except for me. Most of my friends are almost done, they’ve finished programming---”
“Ew.”
“---theirs and all they have left is to review. I’m still not even sure if my work and placeholders are appearing on the program and I’m so pissed...” Mark winces when he hears a loud groan erupting from you, straight to the microphone. Your hands run through your scalp harshly, and you rub your temples in an attempt to relieve yourself from stress.
“Is there anything I can do to help?” Mark mumbles, fiddling with the wires of his earphones. “Do you need a snack? It’s not that late, I can probably treat you to something--”
“No, it’s fine.” You decline his request. Just as you replied, your hand finds its way to your mouse to navigate around your laptop. “If anything, do you think you can check out my project to see if it works? I give up on my own laptop and intuition at this point...”
“Bold of you to assume I can help, we’re from different departments.”
“But are you free to check it out?”
“Maybe after you drink water.”
“Asshat.” You roll your eyes, and Mark laughs in response. “I’m kidding, just send it to me (Y/N). I’ll check it for you.” You huff at him and glance at the camera to stick your tongue out at him. Mark can hear you clicking and typing away, and next thing he knows he receives a link to your file. He’s about to click on the link, but you interrupt him.
“I’ll be back, I’ll get a glass of water.”
“What a miracle.” He muses as he finally clicks on the link. His browser opens a new tab and it displays a loading symbol. “I’m only doing it because you asked, Markie.” You remind him, standing up from your seat and stepping back. Mark catches a glimpse of you pointing at him through the camera, and he watches you leave the room. He smiles to himself when he sees just how snug you look in his sweater, and covers his mouth to supress a joyful laugh. Soon enough, he’s practically covering his face so that the camera can’t pick up how flushed he looks.
It’s only then that the webpage finally loads, and Mark marvels at your work. He takes his time looking through everything, and he smiles to himself when he sees nothing wrong so far. However, as he scrolls, he suddenly stops in his tracks. Mark can’t believe what he’s seeing, his eyes are as wide as saucers, and his hand finds its way back to cover his mouth.
There’s a portion in your project that has yet to be completed. He can tell because of the familiar latin placeholder taking up the first half of the space. But unlike the usual lines that encompass the infamous lorem ipsum, the latter half is filled with words you’ve written on your own.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Morbi molestie augue augue, nec congue arcu blandit vitae. Mark Lee is the cutest boy ever I love him so much I hate this and uni but at least he’s there aahlkdj1o3yt18dbg
Similar to earlier, he has his whole hand covering his face to hide his embarrassment. However, as the paragraph repeats to fill up the vacant space, he suddenly feels the tips of his ears warming up. Not even his own hands can hide how flustered he is. His eyes are zeroed in at the words you’ve typed, and his cheeks are starting to hurt from grinning.
You think Mark Lee is the cutest boy ever. You love him so much. You reciprocated his love. You love him back. You--
“I’m back, Mork!” You shout from the door, with a large glass of water in hand. Mark quickly closes the tab, in fear of you discovering what he stumbled upon. You struggle to rush toward your chair with the glass in hand, but you arrive just in time before Mark could look any more flustered than he already was. Once you’ve settled back in your chair, you look at Mark with surprise all over your face. “What happened to you? Did you tear your hair out while checking my project? Must have been real crap to be honest--”
“No, it’s alright!” He blurts out. “Your project is alright, I mean. The overall project looks good.”
“It’s not yet complete though.” You interject. “I’m still working on the next set of information I have to input.”
“Yeah, I know.” Mark shyly smiles. “I saw the placeholder, actually...”
You fail to notice the sudden change of tone coming from Mark since you’re still busy trying to complete the rest of your assignment. It only dawns to you that he saw the placeholder when you check up on him again after the prolonged silence coming from his side. Even with the relatively dim light illuminating his room, you notice the tint of flush across his features. As everything begins to click, you rush to check the project you sent him, and you let out a curse when you see the words on the screen.
“I...” You begin, eyes darting towards the glass of water, contemplating on whether or not a drink will ease your nerves. “I can explain--”
“It’s alright, (Y/N).” Mark says. “I don’t want you to worry about it yet, you still have work to finish after all. You’re kind of stressed and I don’t think now is a good time to talk about this.” Your heart sinks at his words. They’re words that singal you that he’s definitely going to reject you, they’re oh so familiar after all. You brace yourself for the piercing words, but you’re taken aback at his next response.
“We can talk about the next steps of our relationship after you finish your assignments. I know you hate school, but you’re going to hate it more if you don’t actually get your things done.”
“Wait... Next steps?”
Mark looks away from the screen, and you chuckle at the way his ears are flushed. “Yeah, uhm...” He clicks his tongue and he scratches the back of his ear. “I think you’re cute too. But you’ll be even cuter if you finish this assignment, drink more water, cut on the coffee, and sleep early.”
You can hardly believe his words. You’re practically beaming at this point, and when you bring your legs up on the chair to rest your upper body on your thighs, you realize that you’ve been wearing his clothes all this time. You snuggle deep into the fabric, and watch him from the screen endearingly. It doesn’t take long for Mark to finally look back at his own screen, and he scolds you again for not doing your work. You groan at him, but you concede. In a snap, you’re finally back to typing the rest of your data input.
While you’re busy typing away, Mark watches you in adoration. He can still see how tired you are by the bags of your eyes, your messy hair, and the fact that your methol strip had slid off your neck to perch onto the fabric of his sweater. But with the way a smile graces your features from time to time, he can tell that you’re feeling better. As far as he’s concerned, things will be better from now on.

Coffee Shop Boy
Tumblr media
That can remember the softness in those dark brown eyes as the wound on his knuckle was treated, That can remember quite well the pretty boy at the coffee shop in the oversized pink hoodie, That can definitely remember the pretty boy at the coffee shop and he might just have made a habit out of visiting at unreasonable hours with injuries. Sorawit the said pretty boy at the coffee shop looks forward to seeing the handsome boy that always turns up at 4.30am all battered and bruised but he just hoped he'd stop getting injured.
And somewhere along the lines they both fall in love, but neither of them are quite sure where.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All in all a That x Sorawit coffee shop au that no one asked for but I delivered anyway. Essentially, gangsta That falling in love with the pretty boy at the coffee shop all whilst his boss falls in love with the owner of the coffee shop that may or may not be the brother of that said pretty boy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chapter One.
From Sorawit perspective.
Sorawit flipped over the sign on the door, which read in bold.
The Pink Lily is now open for business.
It had been almost three months since him and Bun had moved to the area. So how did they end up with a coffee shop you wonder? Long story short Bun with his upright sense of justice couldn't stand to see a poor old lady being swindled out of her money so he decided to buy the coffee shop from her at the price it was actually worth. And i know what you're thinking why couldn't he just have told her she was being scammed, well you see she was desperate for the money as her husband needed urgent treatment. Hence why she was willing to settle for what ever price she could get.
So, that's how Sorawit ended up wiping down tables and organising coffee at 4.20am in the morning.
But of course he didn't mind he loved the Pink Lily with all his heart it was covered in his favourite thing flowers, from head to toe there wasn't a corner without them.
After all the Pink Lily was designed to be a place that you could go and put your worries to rest at least for a while.
Today was Sorawit's first time doing the early morning shift which started at 4am and ended 7am. He usually did the evening or late evening shift depending on how much work and studying he had to do as he was still a highschool student. Unfortunately that became a problem when he couldn't function in class or stay a wake for long, so Bun ended up having to switch him out so he'd have more time to rest in the evenings.
Regardless of the shift change Sorawit didn't really care although he would have to say that he preferred the early morning shift a lot better already as it was quieter and he got to work alone, usually with the evening shifts he would work alongside two other members of staff and although they were friendly and easy to get along with Sorawit albeit being the outgoing person he is liked to be alone sometimes. On the other hand the late evening shift was much worse he had to work along side Bun, not that his brother was bad no quite the contrary he was amazing and Sorawit couldn't live without him. You see the problem was after work he was a complete nightmare, and Sorawit tried to understand it must be hard to work in a hospital not only being a doctor but also a forensic pathologist but there is only so much nitpicking he can handle.
Being so caught up in his thoughts Sorawit hardly heard the door chime, he quickly turned around to greet the customer. He was slightly nervous as unlike the other shifts he didn't know what kind of customers he'd get and although Bun tried to ease his nerves by leaving a note with the coffees that the regular early morning customers would get and their names, Sorawit was pretty sure none of them arrived this early.
"Morning what can..." Sorawit trailed off fast, the rest of his sentence had already left his head as he stared at the handsome boy standing in the door way.
His black hair was push back and out of his face, allowing his facial features to stand out more. Although they had a certain sharpness to them Sorawit couldn't help but think he was kind of cute, the roundness of his face and the puffiness of he cheeks contrasted heavily with the rest of his overall look.
He was dressed in black from head to toe and if that didn't slightly intimidate Sorawit then the cold arura he gave off definitely did. But despite all of this one thing he couldn't deny was the fact that the boy standing in front of him was handsome, too much so that he lost half of his sentence just by looking at him.
"Can I have a caramel latte" the boy spoke as he sat down at the table closest to the door.
'How funny' Sorawit thought nodding his head at the boy, he would have never pegged him as the type to like sweet things he seemed way more like a bitter kind of guy.
The boys voice was alot deeper than he was expecting it to be and the fact that he never broke eye contact with him also made him feel a bit tingly. It was like he had ran a marathon, his heart was pounding in his chest.
'Should I ask Bun to check it out' he pondered the last thing he wanted to end up with was a heart condition.
"With cream or without" Sorawit replied after he had finished making the coffee.
"With." A short response came from the customer sat by the door.
After finishing the last touches on his latte Sorawit brought it over carefully, you see he had the tendency to be quite clumsy on his first day he managed to spill at least 10 cups of coffee in which resulted in Bun saying that he's lucky he's cute. He never really got what he meant by that how did being clumsy have anything to do with being cute?
"Would you like anything else to go with that we have pastries." Sorawit smiled gently at him before placing the coffee down on the table, whilst doing so he couldn't help but catch a glimps of the boys bleeding knuckle which he failed to see earlier.
Actually now looking at him closer he seemed to have faded bruises on his cheek and near his mouth.
"No." Hearing a response Sorawit quickly pulled his attention away from his face and turn around heading back to the kitchen area.
The entire time he felt eyes on him.
'I think I might seriously have a heart problem' he thought resting his hand against his chest.
Once he had managed to settle his heart he open the cupboard storing the first aid kit and pulled it out, before making his way back over to the table. By this time he had already finished half of his coffee.
"You're bleeding." Sorawit pointed out obviously but he didn't know how to go about the situation, wouldn't it be a bit strange if he asked.
"Umm" like before the boy kept his response short staring blanking at Sorawit.
Again Sorawit had seemed to lose the ability to breathe, he really needed to make a mental note to tell Bun about this.
"Do you want me to..." Sorawit trailed off unsure of what to say, he wasn't usually like this he was actually very confident around people he just met. However, Sorawit couldn't help but feel a bit nervous he didn't want to mess up.
Without a reply the boy simply just put his bleeding hand on the table.
"Ah" Sorawit quickly realised what the signal meant and pulled out the chair next to him.
Treating and bandaging wounds was no problem for him after all not only has he learnt from Bun but his whole family had worked in the medical field. His dad was a doctor whilst his mum worked in dentistry, when they were still alive he felt a huge amount of pressure to follow in their foot steps just like his brother. Although they had never forced him and were completely supportive in whatever he wanted to do he still felt as if it was like an unspoken rule. That coupled with the fact that Sorawit had no idea what he wanted to do in the future, the pressure had always seemed to build up but more so now after their deaths he felt as if he should honour them in some way.
"How did you get injured" Sorawit spoke pulling himself out of his thoughts, the silence was too loud and it was killing him.
"I fought" he said looking up to meet Sorawit's gaze.
'How can someone be so handsome' Sorawit pondered before breaking eye contact and focusing back on his hand.
"Ah, so you lost?" Sorawit teased, finally becoming more comfortable.
"No, you just haven't seen the other guy" he shot back raising his eyebrow.
It was then for the first time Sorawit saw him smile even if it was a small one, teasing and filled with ridicule Sorawit couldn't tell he was too taken aback to notice. He was alot more handsome when he smiled.
"Why did you fight?" Sorawit continued to question, curiosity filling his eyes.
"Because...." he paused running his other hand through his hair before saying with a light smirk,
"Not telling." "Huh, fine." Sorawit said followed by a short pout.
"Why not." Sorawit ask again quickly trying to force an answer out of him, as to his surprise the other gave in.
"They picked a fight" the boy responded pulling back his hand seeing that he had finished.
"Why?" Sorawit asked, he wasn't sure why he was asking all these question but he couldn't help himself but want to know.
Whilst he was waiting for a response he started to clean up the mess he had made when all of a sudden a bandaged hand came up to his chest and lifted up the name tag hanging from his oversized pink hoodie.
"Sorawit huh, you're quite curious" he said completely ignoring his question.
It was then when he realised that he completely forgot to ask for his name. But feeling a little bit embarrassed Sorawit didn't bother to ask now.
"It's natural to be curious It's not every day someone walks in looking like death" he fired back quickly getting up to return the first aid kit back to It's place.
Ignoring Sorawit once again he pulled out his wallet and placed some money on the table before saying,
"That. My name if you were also curious about that"
And like that before Sorawit could respond That was gone.
'Weird.'
Sorawit thought, That was strange. Viangpa Mork was a pretty small village and he'd like to think that although they've only been there for three months they've practically already met everyone. Yet the boy named That had seemed to appear out of nowhere, he looked about Sorawit age or may be a year older which could explain why he hasn't seen him in school but overall That was a very mysterious character.
Sorawit quickly got over it there was no point dwelling on it he mostly likely never see the boy again. He walked back over to the table to collect the money only to see that the odd and mysterious That had left 620 baht for a 300 baht coffee.
'Did he also hit his head' Sorawit thought it was either that or he was stupid.
*^*
Love at first sight all whilst being completely oblivious we love that for you Sorawit.
Next chapter in the making but I am a procrastinator so it may take a hot minute but as I mentioned before I am very dedicated to That x Sorawit so I will not let you guys down.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
P.s this chapter was like a mini intro hopefully they'll get a bit longer but I mean I wouldn't bet on it my procrastinating game is strong. I would also say I proof read but I didn't so mistakes will change when I read over it and notice them but also don't be shy feel free to point them out to me. And no I did not forget Nam the iconic trio will live on.

Tumblr media
“mark, we have a problem...” you mumble as your roommate for the weekend pulls his suitcase down the hall.
each summer your group of friends sets out on a vacation together, usually to a lake house a few hours from town. per haechan’s idea, roommates were selected at random, “to spice up the week,” he said.
you saw it at silly but in the past two years, you’ve gotten seulgi and doyoung, who are two of your better friends.
this year however....
“what’s up?” mark says, peaking his head into your assigned room.
you can’t help but gesturely wildly into the room, words refusing to leave you.
you can’t help it. you don’t know mark super well but you do know that his dark hair falls across his face way too nicely as the fading sunlight drifts across his features. the evening light from the window makes him too attractive for his own good.
and your own good, seeing as how you can feel heat rise in your face anytime you see him.
you look back at him to see a confused expression cross his face.
“there’s only one bed!” you sputter, your eyes wide.
“ohh,” he says, as he pulls his suitcase into the doorframe, “well maybe we can switch—“
“no switching!!” you hear haechan yell from across the hall. “it’s in the rules!!”
you want to yell back asking what exactly rules he’s talking about but if you know anything about haechan, he definitely has the lake house rules written down in crayon somewhere in his suitcase. instead, you let out a huff of air.
“it shouldn’t be too bad,” mark says, causing you to gaze back at him, “we can make a pillow wall in the middle, it’ll be okay.”
his hopeful look causes you to slowly nod your head. you head into the shower to get ready for bed. after a day of driving everyone is heading to bed earlier than usual.
when you exit the bathroom, you see mark has chosen the left side of the bed, and tossed two pillows into the middle to create separation.
he smiles at you when you give him a thumbs up, content with his solution.
with all his happy smiles and kind eyes you expect everything will be fine. he takes his turn to shower before settling in next to you. the pillows allow for distance, but as you snuggle into the covers, you are still very aware of the fact that you are sharing a bed with another human.
to be more exact, that human is mark lee.
your heart beats a little faster in your chest at the thought, the noise sounding much louder in the silence of the room. you wonder if he can hear it too.
“sweet dreams, y/n,” you hear mark say.
you whisper a goodnight back to him, trying to urge yourself to fall asleep.
~~~
you wake with a start at some point in the night. you’re warm, you realize, too warm.
as you shake yourself of grogginess, you become aware of the sound of birds outside signaling dawn is upon you. you also become aware of the arms that tightly embrace you.
immediately you are wide awake, shifting your head slightly to see mark sleeping soundly so his arms entangled around you.
for a moment panic sets in, wondering what the hell is going on, before you understand that during the night the pillows shifted, and somehow mark ended up next to you.
if you thought your heart was beating wildly last night, you were sorely mistaken. you decide it would probably be best to untangle mark and create some distance before he wakes up. the embarrassment that moment would create would be too much to handle so early in the morning.
you shift slightly, placing your hands on his hands that hold securely to your torso. you assumed this would cause him to jerk away, but he only tightens his grip slightly.
“mmm,” he hums, burying his face into your hair.
for a moment you wonder if he’s dreaming. who he’s dreaming about. a shiver of jealously runs through you before you argue with yourself that you have nothing to be jealous over.
your moment of curiosity is broken as he wiggles himself impossibly closer, breathing out a whisper of your name along with it.
“mark?” you can’t help but ask, your eyes widened from the mention of your name.
he jolts awake, blinking confusedly for a moment before he realizes where he is. who he’s holding.
“oh!” he exclaims as he lets go of you.
the two of you sit up, collecting your bearings and avoiding the tension that plagues the cool morning air.
mark is the first one to speak, “i’m so sorry, y/n, sometimes i move around in my sleep and i guess i moved the pillows and cuddled into you....” he pauses when he realizes the words coming out of his mouth, “i didn’t mean to, i swear, i’m sorry if i made you uncomfy, did i say anything? sometimes i talk in my sleep....” he rambles on.
you reach over, laying a hand on his arm to stop him, “it’s okay, i promise. i was just surprised is all.”
some of his worry dissipates from his face, but he still asks, “and i didn’t say anything, did i?”
you weren’t going to mention the fact that he had muttered your name in his sleep but the look on your face betrays you, so you tell him.
“oh my god, i’m sorry!” he spills out, “i knew haechan putting us together would be bad, it ruined everything, i had it all planned out....” he rambles on, “it was so stupid to tell him! i should’ve known he would meddle!”
mark’s little stumbling rant continues but you catch a few things, and you can’t help but wonder if it all means what you think it does.
slowly, you crawl across the bed so you are face to face with mark. he freezes with you so close, his gaze intent as he looks at you.
maybe it was the early morning drowsiness or the bits of boldness from mark in the past few months but you slowly lean in, trailing a hand across his cheek.
“do you like me mark?” you ask in a whisper, impossibly close.
his mouth opens to say something but nothing comes out.
“please say yes,” you whisper, and at that he nods, letting his eyes close as you let your lips sink into his.
it’s a soft kiss, a good kind of first kiss in the early morning light, leaving you both smiling like fools at each other. he wraps an arm around you, pulling him into his chest as he brings the covers up over the two of you.
you both snooze for a while, enjoying the soft morning and the presence of each other’s company before your peace is broken by the opening of your door.
in typical haechan style, he never lets you or mark forget that he helped in bringing the two of you together, replaying the story for many summers to come.
Mork telling Pi to be bold and confident is so easy for him to say it, yet in reality its so painful for Pi... it's terrifying for him. It's like if you jump to a big cliff and... that's it.
And that's the saddest part; how easy it is for you to say be confident; don't mind the others and such but in reality, it is still lingering there. Try to be Pi, Mork. That you can see how scary it is to be confident when you know his Past.
And, let's be honest, how easy is it for Mork? How long did he go without speaking to Pi? How long did he hide behind an anonymous message? How long did he watch Pi get bullied and do nothing?
Mork is nothing but a bully who decided that best way to do it was to take the power and control out of Pi's hands. His love is force, his love is control, his love is not love at all.
Because who could listen to Pi say what he did and decide that the best thing to do was to force Pi to meet all his friends and then force physical affection on him?
Who, loving someone, could make a plan that they knew would make them uncomfortable and make them feel out of place and decide to guilt them into it?
Who could watch the person they love talk about their discomfort and think only of what they want rather than how to help the person they love?
Who can listen to Pi talk about his insecurities with Bam and decide the only possible answer is to make their relationship public despite Pi's fears?
Mork does not love Pi.
He wants to own Pi, he wants to claim Pi and he wants to know that Pi will do everything he wants without question. He wants to be right more than he wants anything else.
That's not love.
