Hannibal season 3- locations in Florence

Part 1

The long waited post is finally here. This trip altered my brain chemistry and I want to share the exact locations with everyone so you don't have to struggle to find them. I also recommend at least 3 days in Florence if you really plan to make this trip.

3. Chiasso Ricasoli street (a personal favorite)

Visiting this place will remain a core memory. Be quiet when you take pictures here, or else an old woman will start screaming from one of the balconies that she is dying because of the noise shddkskdkdk

Czarny Potok Kościół św. Marcina Biskupa foto z 1 sierpnia 2018

Aktualny kościół z modrzewiowego drewna jest trzecim w tym miejscu, wzniesionym w latach 1728-1755 na miejscu starszego budynku z 1449 r., który z kolei zastąpił pierwotny, trzynastowieczny.

Kościół na rycinie z 1904 r.

Współczesna forma budynku z frontową wieżą o ośmiobocznym zaokrąglonym hełmie pochodzi z lat 1904-1909. Kute latarnie wykonał w 1996 r. Marian Polański z Tarnowa.

Kościół zagrał w serialu Polskie drogi (1976-1977). Na pierwszym kadrze Niemcy poszukujący partyzantów ukrywających się we wsi zajeżdżają przed frontową kruchtę. Żołnierz na drugim kadrze mija drzwi z mojego zdjęcia wyżej.

Czarny Potok, Poland St. Martin of Tours Church taken on 1 August 2018

The current, larch wood church is the third one on this site, built between 1728-1755 upon an older building from 1449 that in turn had replaced the original 13th c. one.

The nowadays look of the building with its tower topped with an octagonal round roof dates back to 1904-1909. Marian Polański, an artist blacksmith from Tarnów, made the wrought iron lanterns in 1996.

The church and its surrounding made a location in a Polish TV series Polskie drogi (1976-1977), a historical drama set in the World War II. [left - Germans coming for partisans hiding in the village; right - German soldier walking by the door shown above on my 2018 photo]

Comparing the interior photo of the Rosewood Bangkok bedroom found online, with screen grabs from KinnPorsche, we find most of the furnishings identical in both views: the headboard, tables, chairs, a lamp, and the TV appear unchanged. A bench at the foot of the bed was removed. Reflective strips on the diagonal column may have been covered, most likely to avoid unwanted reflected light from crew fixtures.

It looks like they did what they could to make the room seem larger: in addition to losing the bench, in the establishing shot (below) the round table has been moved as far right as possible, and the camera retreats into the doorway. A wide-angle lens never hurts, natch.
