Forever bitter that tony and peter didn’t have enough time alive near each other to become the kind of duo that isn’t tooth-rotting it sweet. They didn’t have enough time to stop trying to impress each other. and the result is everyone believing that, if their relationship HAD been expanded upon, they would have been just as sweet as ever, forever.

That is a teenage boy from queens, and a billionaire whose main coping strategy is being rude, and the only reason they’re so close is because they’ve both lost most of the people who were SUPPOSED to take care of them, or teach them about the world. Tony’s idea of fatherhood is aggression and resentment. Peter’s idea of Son-hood is loss and grief, and expecting abandonment.

They had enough screen time to decide they cared about each other, and enough time to become close. But i don’t think they would have ever been the tooth-rotting duo that i see in a lot of fandom spaces.

they didn’t have enough time to be angry at each other, to have typical fights about chores and growing up. They fought over lives lost, over business, but not over whether the AC was the right temp. And maybe this is speaking to my own experience, but i think those small low-risk fights are SO IMPORTANT for characters to understand each other. The more you trust each other, the more you fight.

So i’m angry that peter and tony didn’t have more fights. squabbles, tiny disagreements about the kind of things teenagers complain about. “there’s enough fighting in the field, they should fight at home too!” they SHOULD.

do you know how much trust it would take for peter to get assertive over something that ISNT life or death? He dosnt do that with everyone. If he’s willing to stop people-pleasing tony, it’s because he’s stopped seeing tony as better than him. which seems pretty damn fluffy to me. Yeah they’re fighting. No, that doesn’t mean that it’s hurt/angst. they’re SQUABBLING. like a FAMILY.

idk. I just think there should be more domestic Irondad fics in which people disagree, and everything is alright. They’re seperate people. they don’t have to always be in harmony. the beauty is that they’re still together while out of harmony. And i wish there was more times where peter and tony argued about something stupid, to show their trust.

i find it funny the way women are crucified for the way they consume media. women can't like a band without wanting to fuck one of the members. they can't like a video game without "ignoring a characters' writing" just because they think they're hot. they can't read a book without smut in it and, if they do, they only read it to look "intellectual" and above women who do read erotic fiction. everything a woman likes has to have an ulterior motive or some underlying meaning. according to men, a woman cannot like anything in the same way they like it. women like things because the people in it are hot. a woman's brain cannot comprehend the way men think so deeply about the things they like. women just play a game and giggle and kick their feet when their fave comes on screen. and then they'll go on tiktok and post about said character and how hot they are without knowing how well written the character is. but, a man can do it to a woman. that's allowed. they can edit innocent pictures of characters with big tits and a big ass and cum all over it and that's okay. women...no. fanfiction is disgusting. that's oversexualising our big, strong, male characters that represent just how alpha we are. we can't have that. women are stupid. why can't they think as deep as we can?

so many great things about the characters of Aziraphale and Crowley but my fav thing is that they give autistic partner x adhd partner energy

like Crowley is always distracted midway through conversations “do ducks have ears?” And Aziraphale is usually very accepting of this. He knows Crowleys like this after 6000 years of knowing each other

Aziraphale gets so invested in mysteries and Clues and books and likes to have things the way they make him comfortable. Crowley knows this and never really tries to change it about him (even though he may complain lightly about it)

I know they’re not actually neurodivergent because they’re like an Angel and a demon and all that, and that these traits don’t necessarily define the neurodivergent experience and life at all, but I just love seeing their relationship this way because it gives me hope

and seeing how well they know and accept each other for these things (and many more) is just another great layer to their relationship

gonna start ranting abt qsmp stuff here bc twitter scares me LOL i need to talk about it so bad!!

im not the BIGGEST fan of this event - i think the concept is super cool but sometimes it's super frustrating to watch literally any team grind for 6+ hours and then for the efforts to be futile because of a last minute thing/only a few members logging in on a day that requires more than one person (not to mention some of twitter,,,) but as long as the ccs are having fun then yknow!! but it's still a super cool concept don't get me wrong and it's been fun to watch like i'm always on the edge of my seat

but good LORD did tubbo COOK today's stream. like the pieces literally fell into place. i was convinced blue was cursed from the get-go but every single thing he pieced together just made SENSE. there's literally so much evidence backing up blue being the cursed team versus the one single red heron red team keeps hanging onto that in theory doesn't even make sense still taking quackity's ticket into consideration and the fact he was on a different team at the start. i wish they'd kinda just listened to what tubbo is saying because it genuinely makes so much sense but i feel like they're trying to not take the cursed team into perspective for content-sake which fjaeihfiuewf the cursed team is roleplay contentttt but whatever

part of me kinda feels like this event was supposed to be kind of a phase out of the eggs that weren't meant to last this long so i'm honestly not gonna be too mad if red wins bc they're too stubborn to listen to reason (and it'll be funny to see q!tubbo say i told you so LOL) but i think it would be a super good way to finally phase out the eggs and move on to a different part of the lore and i'm excited for it!!

I'm begging some of u to learn a little bit more about domestic animals and what videos are and are not cute On Your Own rather than hoping some dedicated expert will come along to correct something.

Cat saliva is toxic to many species of birds and reptiles, as well as rodents. You do not want to promote content that features a cat playing with a hamster under any circumstances, even if it seems cute and harmless. It is not.

Hamsters are incredibly fragile animals that aren't made to fall from heights or be flung around.

Fish are not toys either! They should not be treated like accessories or decorations in videos. They feel pain and stress like everything else.

If you see a non domestic animal in a domestic setting, question it. Look into it.

There's a whole subgenre of pet videos that's just people FAKING animal rescues. They'll glue things to the shells of turtles just to scrape it off on camera, unaware of the damage that's doing to the turtle every step of the way. They'll grab bags upon bags of fish out of pet store dumpsters that THEY THEMSELVES planted there.

Just please be very critical of the viral animal videos you're seeing. Animals can't speak up for themselves so we have to do it for them.

the fatigue regarding this shit is setting in real good but i still can't Not be upset about the opt-out of content scraping for staff's monetary gain. it's not insane to presume they keep up with the decisions other websites make, INCLUDING, SURELY, when they have to backtrack from something as fucking stupid as anything opt-out like with Deviantart's semi-recent blunders with opting-in to basic AI protection, and you'd think staff would be competent enough to know better than to implement the exact same mistake DA did. and yea, they are. staff is competent enough. they just don't fucking care. You sell so much more content when there are people on your website who have lost their passwords, left, or died, and are unable to actually opt out of the system. There's so much more content to sell when you scrape from private accounts, private functions such as asks, likely DMs, or proclaimed "deleted" content. There's so much more content to sell when the opt-out feature is practically inaccessible to the userbase shoved within blog settings, EACH individual blogs' settings at that, and only on certain versions on mobile that, again, not everyone can access because their updates just don't fucking function or people's phones are labelled "obsolete" due to their age and have updates gradually choked behind OS releases until they're no longer supported. There's so much more content to sell when people post their faces and bodies to this website during the time that AI deepfake sexual harassment & fraud is at its most legally ignored status. They are competent enough to know that all this is shit their users don't want but it doesn't matter, because this will make them the most money. it's not incompetence, it is deliberate, malicious greed.

Do you know how inaccessible comics are to me if I can't pirate them? And I don't even mean money. I am more than willing to pay artists and writers for their work. In fact I have read every issue (save the most recent, because my sites stopped working) of birds of prey via pirating as they came out, and then as soon as possible purchased them. I got issues 1 through 3 for Christmas from my big brother and bought issue 4 in Scotland. I have no issues with money. This isn't an ethics thing. But I have ONE comic store near me. Near me is an hour away, completely out of the way. And it's small and independent and has a great selection but it is my ONLY OPTION. I looked into paid options online and have ONLY found Comixology, except that I am Canadian, and Comixology doesn't seem to exist for Canadians. I cannot get into the city to go to the comic store. And I can't buy them online for some reason. And it's just SO frustrating. This isn't even like a "let me pirate" argument. It's a "fucking fix it" argument. My local comic store is niche, I don't think that's common. And yeah comics aren't the end all be all but it's a huge interest for how many people??? And I can't access them now because there's just no options?

I have mixed feelings about the trend of using mason jars for all sorts of things because reuseable is good but you can use like... cleaned out jars from your recycling for most things, and for safe canning we need mason jars, and it just makes me a little sad when they're holding flowers or being use as cups or whatever that like... someone could be canning with those. But I guess if you buy them for that purpose it helps them not get super expensive, and if you're reusing from canned goods you ate, that's good too. Maybe it's just when they're on Buy Nothing and there's people who want to can but they go to someone who wants to organize craft supplies or whatever

the v1 and v2 plushies really frustrate me because i WANT to like them but they are just. bad. im sorry i absolutely love ultrakill but they are just not up to my standards for the quality of a plushie. the fabric looks printed on (you can see white edges near the stitching) and is kind of cheap looking which makes me worried about the texture (trust me ive felt some AWFUL plushie textures. they kind of look like the texture of plushie that feels strangely wet despite being dry.) and overall i just do not think they look that great. obviously im not expecting some insane (fanmade swordsmachine) level of detail on these guys or anything but the idea of ultrakill plushies has so much potential that these little guys just dont really live up to. i think that using makeship would have worked well as their plushies are great quality and have a pleasant texture and use embroidery and seperate coloured fabrics without being ridiculously expensive, and hell they could make one of those long plushies of leviathan id sell my left kidney for that. i apologise for being a little hater. i really wanted to like the plushies. i tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but they could have done so much better. i will unfortunately not be buying the ultrakill plushies, but ultimately im glad that so many people DO like them and will buy them and support ultrakill with their hard earned dollars 💥💥
