The applause and cheers began again. Link clasped his hands tightly together on his lap as everyone cheered his name this time. He felt the ridiculous urge to hide under the table.

How had he ever lasted as a Champion and Prince before? Surely people had stared one hundred years ago. How had he dealt with it? Had it always made him so anxious? He wanted to ask them all to stop looking at him.

Under the table, Sidon took his hand.

“It’s okay,” he said quietly. “You’re okay.”

Stupidly anal opinion of mine, but BOTW Link should really have scars everywhere but his face when drawn. After all, Robbie explicitly asks you to prove you’re Link by taking off all your clothes, because he won’t be sure until he recognizes the scars. If Link had any scars/wounds on his face, then Robbie never would have had to ask and would have known right away.

This is a quick sketch for a Kingdom Hearts BotW crossover AU. Imagine, after the events of KH BBS, instead of going to Sora, Ventus' heart ends up inside of an automaton built by Purah and Robbie for Link and the other Champions to spar against. Before the automaton is built, both of the scientists have had visions of the boy, whilst forgetting the visions they keep the image of Ventus in their mind whilst building the ancient tech automaton which they don't know now hosts the heart of the boy until they first try to test his sparring capabilities against Link. (The design for the automaton Ven is still in the works but it is a mixture of his armor and the ancient armor)

I'm a lazy and irresponsible artist. I started drawing this artwork a year ago and didn’t finish it. Inspired by the game Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. Especially the characters Impa, Pura and Robbie. They are so adorable. I immediately wanted to draw them. And then job, lack of time… as usual. BOTW Champion Headcannons: Monopoly Edition

Purrah does nothing except buy all the railroads.

Link buys one or two properties and then spends the rest of the game upgrading them.

Robbie insists on being the top hat.

Revali constantly winds up in jail and has no idea how.

Urbosa and Riju get into a bidding war over the boardwalk.

Yunobo opted not to play and hid in a corner for the duration of the game because the competition was too much pressure.

Zelda didn't play either and instead went on an info dump tangent about the flaws of capitalism.

Daruk agreed to be the banker and he kept slipping Mipha 100 dollar bills.

Sidon's just having a good time. Completely unbothered. Vibing.

Whenever someone asks Purrah for a trade she folds her hands and ominously goes, "Make me an offer I can't refuse."

Whenever Robbie passes jail he enthusiasticly waves at whoever is inside (usually Revali).

Teba stays silent the entire game and no one even realizes he's playing until the very end when he wins.

Riju will fist fight you over being the dog.

Isn’t that what I just said? Rivan thought. 

Link nodded again. Robbie struck the old familiar pose from so long ago, legs spread apart and pointing up at the sky.

“HAHA! Amazing! The shrine worked and-” Robbie stopped. He looked down at himself, still in his pose.

“I’m in my pyjamas,” he said flatly. He let his arm fall back to his side, threw his head back and screamed, “I’m still in my pyjamas, are you kidding me!?” He ran for the stairs, faster than Rivan could believe. “None of you go anywhere, just pretend you haven’t seen me until I come back down!” he hollered over his shoulder.

Jerrin sighed and picked up the abandoned mug.

“Do you like tea or coffee?” she asked. “I’ll put the kettle on.”

The boys finally meet Robbie. He's just as eccentric as ever. However, Robbie's plans to provide them with some invaluable gear are swiftly derailed when a Lynel takes residence near the ancient furnace.

I can’t believe people say Robbie’s voice acting in Age of Calamity is too over the top. The man literally has guitar riffs play every time he does a pose. Hammy is his default state, in fact I think I’d complain if his voice acting wasn’t hammy and over the top.
