I really didn’t think I’d post a chapter today but I can’t stop laughing at what I wrote today (no one can entertain me like I can 😅) so I needed to share it asap

Chapter 10: I Really Wish I Hated You

Chapter summary:

Puberty takes no prisoners.

Snippet:

He manages to turn himself around and bangs his fists on the locker door.

“Get me out of here so I can fucking kill you!”

He can’t really see through the slits in the door, but he thinks Dazai is still there in front of it. The sound from the hallway is muffled; all he hears is the murmur of an intrigued crowd. He’s pretty sure there’s plenty of other students around who could help him. Unfortunately, none of them want to interfere with Dazai.

Frustrated, Chuuya kicks the locker door.

“Careful, slug, or you’ll get written up for damaging school property~” comes Dazai’s most annoying tone. Chuuya doesn’t have to see him to know exactly what his insufferable face looks like right now.

“I know where you live, bastard!” Chuuya shouts.

Weeks of avoiding him and this is how Dazai says hello?

Someone on YouTube asked for recommendations for Soukoku fics so how could I give up such an opportunity to share some of my all time favourites?! Some of them will make you cry. It's a well known fact that nakahara chuuya is cursed.

All those who confessed to him since kindergarten were struck by bad luck.

But still peoples keep confessing to him, hoping to be the one to break the curse.

It's even worse on Valentine day and white day when a yearly food infections and others misfortunes touch the peoples foolish enough to confess to him.

From early childhood to adulthood they're will always be peoples falling for the redhead.

The redheaded teacher was pretty, friendly, caring and hardworking with a bright smile ( his only major flaw being his behavior around one dazai osamu) , it's easy to fall for him even knowing the risk .

And they tried getting rid of the curse but even exorcism didn't work some peoples like ranpo sensei would say that the curse coincided with the time that he knew dazai sensei.

And some peoples led by dazai sensei would say that chuuya sensei belonged to dazai and should not receive confession while the latter remain blissfully oblivious.

( as for the curse it's also called dazai osamu who put his claim on chuuya's being his dog/boyfriend since kindergarten and is really petty about those who dare to go against that).

Sins Of Staying Together by setosdarkness: Dazai is infamous for saying ‘yes’ to anyone who asks him out. Even if anyone he dates ends up breaking up with him before the week is over. It’s almost surreal to think that there might come a time when they go their separate ways....But now, that’s a reality that Chuuya has to face, because Dazai’s going to a different university.

Nakahara Chuuya and Osamu Dazai were complete opposites.

Chuuya was the top student at Port Academy, the most prestigious school in Yokohama. Praised to be one of the brightest of his generation, his reputation exceeded far beyond just his home state. With a noble family background, national recognition, dedicated fans, a vibrant personality, and beautiful visuals, he had it all! To everyone else, everything about him seemed perfect.

And Dazai was the dangerously handsome and charming new student who had everyone blushing and kicking their feet at the mere mention of his name. He was infamous for his playboy antics, mysterious background and knack for unnecessarily provoking almost everyone in his path. He had already become a hot topic among the students during his first week at the academy.

I know Chuuya is less more obvious obsessed with Dazai but can you gives us more examples of him ? I know I'm pain in the ass , but I love reading soukoku evidence or any posts about them ( literally ANYTHING related to them ).

He, in the middle of corruption, when he has no control over himself, cannot differentiate friend from foe, more or less just floats in the back of his own consciousness, yelled Dazai's name, found him and punched him in the face gently enough to not behead him after he had just ko-d an ability dragon. That is not including the fact that he knew Dazai wasn't dead cause he could feel it in his bones or something and jumped out of a plane to near certain death just to save him.

In the ova with Kunikida, Chuuya randomly followed him around because he suspected Dazai could be the one involved.

In his meeting with Yosano and Kenji he automatically assumed Dazai blabbed about him to the ADA. (Understandable tbh cause he did talk to Oda about him).

In the dhc parts of dead apple novel he specifically fixated on saving Dazai despite previously talking about how he didnt give a shit about Dazai and only needed to save the grunts. "Wait for me, shitty dazai". What about the grunts Chuuya?

Man described Dazai's ideal date when asked about what he considered a good date idea just so he could insist he wont do that.

In the same interview Chuuya randomly brought up Dazai again saying he would like to spend his evening drinking when Dazai is not around.

Bro popped into the basement just to see Dazai and annoy him the moment he found out Dazai had been captured after 4 years of seperation and the first thing out of his mouth is comparing him to a billion dollar masterpiece and to drag him super close to his face by the hair and bring up their (ex) partnership.

They both live rent free in each other's heads in wan.

Bro has Dazai in his list of dislikes but freaks out anytime he is actually hurt. Not the guy who tried to murder him, not his bro who offed all his friends, not the other dude that offed all his friends, not his own torturer. The guy he will trust with life and humanity. Yea.

Has mentioned that they are fated in the high school au games. Used corruption when Dazai died in beast au.

Still knows Dazai like the back of his hand and can predict his motives and moves. If Dazai has a PhD in Chuuyology than Chuuya is working on his post doc in Dazaistic.

Dazai and chuuya are childhood friends, they meet while chuuya defended him from bully in the playground ( dazai was this lonely weird kid and peoples liked to pick on him).

He played with dazai even if his friends complained they would often bicker but they we're always together ( i also imagine that chuuya was taller than dazai when they we're little).

Dazai is rich, his mother was a famous actress and idol ( i think of her like ai hoshino from hoshi no ko), who came from the tsushima family , an old and influential family who is one of the richest in japan and worldwhile and his father was a genius business man whereas chuuya was middle class but his family got financial problem.

Dazai and chuuya are still in contact and they still meet up to play in the arcade, go to karaoke, play video game at home or watch movie together but they don't see each others as much as before ( dazai is in one of the best school in the country while chuuya is in public school ( dazai use his wealth to pay scolarship to get opportunity to peoples ( like atsushi or the akutagawa siblings for exemple) to go to his school but chuuya always refuse that.

Chuuya is popular in in his school but dazai always foil the suitors ( like he have peoples tail chuuya for exemple), when chuuya's Friends convinced him to go on blind date, dazai is always here to ruin them.

Finally After way too many whinning, blackmail and bet on dazai's part he convince chuuya to go to his school but chuuya only accept to go on his own merit without any interference from dazai ( he have stellar grade in physics, mathematic and sport ( he's part of many sport club and he won several poetry contest) and he's hardworking so he manage to get into the school.

It surprised everyone when he became dazai's roommate, dazai never shared his room with anyone not even oda and ango and they discover the mistery of who Always made dazai's bento who are worthy of a five star restaurant.

Chuuya's is presented to dazai's friends and he's a regular guest to the clubroom of the armed detective student council because of dazai.

After many drama, denial of feeling and the usual shenaningan of their unconventional mating ritual ™, they get together.
