Idea for a podcast called "Walk Into A Bar" where they get three respected individuals from completely unrelated fields and force them to compete against each other at a fourth activity.
The episodes will have names like "A Prog Metal Keyboardist, A Stadium Super Truck Driver, and A Cardiovascular Surgeon Walk Into A Bar (Culinary Edition)"

Yu yu Hakasho
Netflix adaptation

Oh my goodness what a good start! The actors really match the characters swagger and personality. The English dub is great too but not my 90s/earily 2000’s dbz actors I love. They are getting the first arch out of the way, but nicely summarized. The demon bug being the first demon to start the story worked well! Also the truck driver listening to the anime theme? Nice touch!
Kawabra, the king, the goat, is perfect as he is. I might have squeeled like a 14 year old again.
Yusuke and Kekio have a good relationship.
Botan 10/10 but I miss her oar!
Sprit world? Super cool! Miss the ogres!
Koenma is an adult, perfectly fine! They did that halfway through the second season so works for me!
They are setting up the dark tournament really well! The hole to the demon world is a sink hole, big enough to hold a stadium, checks out. Gonna miss the spooky island though.
Even the members of the black black club are making cameos! Even yukina’s ugly bastard captor showed up!
But that being said, I guess we are skipping the dark castle arch? The one where the boys really make it into a team? I’ll keep watching. Super excited!

What would the lis favourite activity or ride be at the amusement park?
Arjun: Tilt-A-Whirl. He gets nauseous on bigger rides and gets headaches from wooden rollercoasters, which is a bummer because he wants to like carnival rides and will go on them if MC or Elijah wants to for the sake of having fun with them. But Tilt-A-Whirl is just easy enough where he has fun on the ride whilst not getting overwhelmed. Plus he loves throwing himself against his partner and trying (and failing) to control the cart.
Bobby: Swing ride. Don’t get me wrong, he loves playing games with his partner and rides they can do together, but I think this is the one ride he always makes time to go on. He likes the simplicity of it, the feeling of flying, softly kicking his feet. If MC/Noah is in the seat in front of him he’ll try to be silly by kicking the back of their seat, but honestly he has more fun if they’re behind him so he doesn’t get distracted from actually enjoying the ride.
Carl: Food. He’s here for the food trucks. He especially likes to seek out weird things that aren’t served in restaurants, not just the ‘deep fried X on a stick’ but also the more niche stands with food from another culture (I don’t know if this is universal but at our state fairs/carnivals people who like to cook will rent stands and you can just. Have a plate of some Persian grandmother’s food, or have the most mindblowingly amazing curry you've ever tasted from a stall with zero marketing that serves it in a styrofoam bowl)
Elijah: The High Striker/Strength Tester game. He just wants to show off to his partner and win them a cheesy cheap stuffed toy.
Felix: Laser tag. He gets super excited to play and SUPER competitive. Actually cares about the leaderboard, and it’s one of the few times you see him focus and strategize.
Gary: Drinking. I think carnivals are probably a little overwhelming for him. He likes playing some of the games, but if it’s a big sprawling one with lots of activities he doesn’t want to pick activities or plan anything. I think his favorite part is just getting a cold beer and wandering around, looking at all the things.
Hannah: For some reason I just get the vibe that she’s super interested in those games where you win a goldfish. I think she always gets excited when she sees it and commits herself to winning one. Once she does, she decides this is her new best friend and she’s going to take such good care of it, but they never survive more than a couple of weeks.
Henrik: Teacups. He’s going to convince you to ride, then use all his arm strength to spin you both as fast as humanly possible. When you get off he says ‘whoa I’m dizzy’ every time, but then later will ask you to go on again.
Rahim: Ferris wheel. He likes that it’s slower, and also a little more private (because it’s just him and his partner in the compartment/bench, so it's a nice break from the crowds). He also really enjoys seeing the whole carnival from a height and looking out at the scenery. Plus he can’t resist a romantic kiss at the top.
Jakub: I don’t know if this is universal, but in the midwest we have demo derbies. It’s when people take old crappy cars, fix them up, paint them flashy colors/designs, then literally run them into other cars in a stadium until they won’t drive anymore. The car that keeps moving last wins. It’s loud, competitive, suspenseful, and campy (kind of like wrestling, the drivers/car teams are assigned a performative personality). Plus sometimes the cars explode/catch on fire, and that’s fun to watch.
Kassam: Roller coasters. I feel like Kassam’s the type to go to theme parks at least four or five times a year, and he really likes the fast, new ones. I think his favorite type is the Impulse Roller Coaster which goes insanely fast and insanely high in a short period of time, but he also likes the tower of terror style drop coasters. Anything where you get that sinking stomach feeling. If you go to a theme park/carnival, he’ll plot out all the roller coasters and make a plan to go on all of them throughout the day.
Lottie: Fortune teller, obvious reasons. She’ll walk away either way too somber/serious or scoffing like ‘that lady/dude was absolutely full of it’.
Lucas: Bumper cars. It’s one of the few times Lucas really lets loose and allows himself to be unpolished. But the genuine joy of him trying to chase MC’s cart down, or raucously laughing when he gets hit, or the cheeky grin when he narrowly evades someone, or stumbling out of his cart with the rare messy hair and dazed smile… It’s so cute. And he has a lot of fun. He won’t ask to go on the bumper cars initially, but will always ask to go again once you’ve done it.
Marisol: People watching. I think her favorite part of the outing is when you get a snack/beverage, find a bench in the shade, and just take it all in. She giggles and points out people doing silly things, or just makes up little narratives about the relationships of couples/families she sees. She likes getting a vibe for the general type of people who attend the event they’re specifically at, and making generalizations about why that is/how the carnival could attract other people.
Noah: I think he really like the slow boring rides that most people dislike. Like the ones that run around a little track and have a story- think Disney’s Carosel of Progress or It’s a Small World. He just finds them charming and once he finds one he likes will want to make it a routine to visit. Also wait now I’m fantasizing about going to Epcot with Noah, I think that’d be so fucking fun. Like hanging out in all the countries, getting different drinks and food, acknowledging how cheesy it is but genuinely enjoying it all the same.

I now present you with:
Even more Random JJK men headcannons I made while in my feels
This time Featuring: Megumi, Itadori, and Sukuna
MEGUMI:
Megumi loves a very specific type of country music, and that is "Scorned woman gets revenge" country.
Play any of that stadium, "I fuck my truck while drinkin beer" country and he's liable to punch you in the neck. CARRIE UNDERWOOD HOWEVER.
Not Carrie, but if you put on Gunpowder and Lead for this man, he is going to give you a concert you will never forget. That is his JAM.
Other than that, he listens to a lot of Tool. I dunno, he just seems like the kind of guy to like Tool. And Alice in Chains.
Doesn't like Nine Inch Nails though. First song he heard was Animal and it just ruined the whole band for him.
Is a weirdly good artist. Like, he claims he's never taken a class, and doesn't really practice a lot, but his art is so good it's hard to believe that's true.
He uses this power exclusively to draw fanart.
Oh, hes a closeted weeb. Like, hes super into anime and manga, but hes so ashamed to admit it. And for no real reason honestly.
Hes a movie guy. That giant collection of movies you saw Itadori watch? Yea, those were all Megumis. He was pissed when Gojo took them and gave 0 explanation as to why.
He says his favorite movie is the Godfather, but it's not. It's Kevin Smiths Dogma. He thinks Alan Rickman is fucking hilarious in that movie.
He can never say that though, because of he did, he'd lose all movie buff credit
Also, Nobara got him into musicals. No, not Hamilton, that's too basic. He's into things like "The Guy That Hates Musicals" and "Sweeny Todd."
Unironically sings "my friends" to himself as he shaves.
Also, he has an incredible singing voice, but good luck actually hearing it. You gotta catch him in the moment.
Watches art videos on YouTube to fall asleep. Watching people color is just really soothing to him.
He really loves chocolate. Like, all types, in all shapes and forms, except white chocolate. Fuck white chocolate, he hates that shit on principle.
"It has no coco in it, it's just soild cream! Who wants to eat cream?!"
He does, but he won't admit it on principle
Generally speaking, he's not great at video games. He can't tell you why, but they make him motion sick.
The exception is Rythm games. He kills at those. 100% on expert, first try, every time. Man's got rhythm.
Does not believe he has any rhythm at all.
ITADORI:
Hes weirdly specific about sheets. He truly believes in getting a good, comfortable, nights sleep, and that your bedding contributes to that.
Seriously, this is a man that would gladly drop 50, 60, 100 american dollars on sheets. And be Damm fucking happy about it too.
He convinced Nanami to his side as well. Nanami was of the opinion that sheets are sheets. Like, yea don't get the cheapest, scratchiest, sheets available, but 13000 yen on sheets is excessive.
Itadori was like "just touch them. Touch my sheets Nanami, please." And Nanami was like "no, that is weird, do you hear yourself?" Finally, he did it to shut the kid up.
He immediately dropped 13000 yen on some sheets.
Itadori genuinely loves doing house work as well. Dinner, dishes, laundry, he loves that. He finds it meditative. He just puts on his music and goes.
He also loves Magic the Gathering and DnD. He's finally convinced Nobara and Megumi to play with him, and is living his best life watching his friends slowly get sucked into his nerd culture.
He uses out dated slang. And this is hell on Sukuna, who is trying to learn modern language from him.
Seriously words like, Gnarly, Totes, Metal, and Home Skillet, are all common place in Itadoris vocabulary.
One time, Sukuna was just kinda rambling, and to placate him Itadori said "oh, word?" Absent mindedly and it just threw this demon for a whole ass loop. "What do you mean "Oh word?" I said many words, what word is confusing you, punk?!"
He loves birds. Genuinely, they're one of his most favorite animals. He had a green and pink parakeet for most of his life, but sadly he bad to rehome Cosmo and Wanda once his grandfather got sick.
It's ok though, they're new owners are super nice and still send Itadori letters with updates and pictures of the babies
He will point out birds and tell random facts about them as the crew goes through Tokyo. Everyone actually greatly appreciates this from him, cause fun facts are fun!
He's actually just full of fun facts. Like, sometimes he'll read random Wikipedia pages for fun, and will just throw out the facts he has as like, a conversation starter.
His favorite flavor of anything is peach. Not even for the meme or the joke, peach is just the perfect flavor as far as hes concerned.
It's also pink, like him. So. There is that.
After watching all of those movies for months, he decided his favorite movie genre was the RomCom. Even if he got punched a few times, it was worth it.
Are the cliché? Yes. Are they ever really well Shot or get creative with cinematography? No, not really. Do they sometimes have some troubling tropes? You betcha. But they were also fun, and familiar, and warm, and they always had a happy ending. And happy ending are important to Itadori.
In general he's kind of a hopeless romantic. He's not looking for love, persay. If it comes, cool but he's certainly not seeking it out.
But he does love the concept of love. And how it's used in media, specifically. It can be the ultimate good or the ultimate bad with very little in-between and that fascinates him.
His favorite holiday is the entirety of Golden Week cause he loves having the week off to research birds.
SUKUNA:
Fucking loves Britney Spears. His all time favorite artist, she has an undeniable energy, and a command over attention that he can not help but respect.
She also put out Criminal, so, he has no choice but to stan.
His first week being awake again was a fucking trip. He'd been asleep for thousands of years, and oh my gods had the humans been fucking busy.
The microwave blew his fucking mind. "You mean you've harnessed the power of the fucking sun in a small box in order to just, reheat your leftovers whenever you want?! THE FUTURE IS NOW YUJI ITADORI."
Don't even get him started on indoor plumbing, he really just though everyone in this Era had money money.
Jokes on him.
He can not handle spicy food. Sukuna can be defeated with a chili pepper and it's almost embarrassing.
Hes addicted to Baja Blast though. As far as he's concerned, that is the one thing humans did right.
He has threatened to shut the entire operation (that being Itadoris life) down over being denied the cancer in a cup.
He really tries to use modern slang, but in-between his age and Yuji not using any that was created after 1998, he never stood a chance.
"Where are your chickens, Punk?" "M...my chickens?" "Yes, your chickens! Your friends, your homes, your cooking wear!!" "...Ryomen, are you trying to say 'where are your peeps?!'"
He loves cats. They're independent and graceful creatures and he has to respect it
Also, LOOK AT THEIR WITTLE NOSES AND TEEFIES!! DEY ARE SO COOT AND WITTLE!
Hes really into documentaries, he uses them to catch up on all the things he missed out on while asleep.
The main thing he learned was that humans never really changed. And it almost bummed him out.
Greatly appreciates Itadoris passion for quality bedding, but he will never say that out loud.
Genuinely enjoys art in all of its forms. Will force Itadori to go to museums and such for him. Almost lost his entire mind when he found out Megumi was not only an artist, but a damn good artist at that.
Can not sleep at night. Even when Sukuna was mortal, he was nocturnal. This sucks for Itadori, cause while he's trying to sleep, Sukuna it trying to converse and he does not like to be ignored.
Hes queer as hell but can't admit it. He'll say things to Itadori about hot people he sees in public, and this includes men. He'll say some of the raunchiest shit about men.
And everytime Itadori is like "uhh, hey man. Is there something you want to tell me?" "No, nothing other than the things I'd do to that man." "Sukuna, are you, like...gay?" "Thats a bold question to ask punk. "Gay" is a concept you and your generation made up. In my time, there was no concept of "sexual orientation" or "monogamy" or any of those other terms you humans use to put yourself in a box. If you were attracted to someone, and they were attracted to you, you fucked. And that was that, the other parties genitals were very rarely taken into account when making a move on someone." "Thats not really an answer." "I know."
He actually doesn't talk a whole lot about his Era, or his time when he was alive. No one really knows why either. Whenever asked about it, he just kinda mutters about it being a long time ago, or ignores the questions entirely. Either way, he isn't about talking about it.
He things tigers are cool as fuck. Gotta be one of his favorite genders.
"Did I do it right? Is this how you "meme" or whatever the fuck you call it, Punk?"

I wanted to like the Tropos Rallye, I really did. Stratoses are cool as hell and I love '70s and '80s wedgemobiles. The Tropos was just too grippy for me, though. It was a fantastic car and was great if you liked to drive grip-style, because it was nearly impossible to get this thing to break traction, but I was just more at home in slippery V8 barges.
Tumblr media
Whenever a moon needed exploring, the Desert Raid was ready to handle it. This odd-looking giant rally buggy was much more nimble than it let on, with acceleration that rivalled even the electric cars and massive suspension travel that let it soak up the bumpiest trails. The best part was that the body panels loved to fall off at the drop of a hat, so after a couple of tumbles you were driving nothing but a pipe frame reminiscent of a failed Wile E. Coyote contraption.
Tumblr media
The Trophy Truck was the Desert Raid's more svelte sibling, with almost identical performance and a much more traditional appearance. I used glitches to remove the spare tires from the back in order to make it look like something out of Stadium Super Trucks. If you like high-energy videogame-style racing, I highly recommend you look that up sometime.
Tumblr media
There aren't many games with jumping tanks in them. Metal Slug and Blaster Master are the first to come to mind. The Scarab put a smile on my face by allowing me to add GTA to that list. This one in particular is the Apocalypse flavor, with more traditional treads and armor plating. In a move even more reminiscent of Blaster Master, the Scarab is the Arena vehicle in which I first learned to fly. The shunt boost pushes your vehicle to its left or right regardless of which way it's facing, so by jumping in the air and flipping on to your side, you could shunt straight up and, with some practice, chain shunts together to effectively fly across the map like the Metroid games' Space Jump ability. I'm pretty sure a lot of randoms thought I was an actual hacker.
Tumblr media
Take the APC, remove its weapons, then give it bigger tires and make it rounder and cuter. That's the Zhaba. This peaceful herbivore of a vehicle could crawl over just about anything and float in water to go just about anywhere it wanted, albeit very slowly. Players could even stand on it without getting knocked down as it drove at full speed. As a side note, this thing looked absolutely ridiculous with F1 wheels, too much so even for me.
Tumblr media
The Vagrant was a vehicle I wish I had tried a lot sooner. It was a zippy little buggy that thrived both on and off the pavement, and I bought it out of boredom when I had no reason to grind or run missions. It would have made those Blaine County jaunts a lot more enjoyable.
Tumblr media
As fun as the Zhaba was, it just wasn't that practical for daily use because of its ponderous speed. The Freecrawler was the solution, offering much of the same capability and just as much cubic-ness in a faster and more accessible package. The short wheelbase and tiny overhangs gave it amazing approach angles, even to the point of conquering city barriers if you didn't mind scratching the paint a little bit.
Tumblr media
Anyone who's grown up in Los Santos recognizes the Dubsta in its chrome and gold forms and understands the hustle they represent. Back when heists were just twinkles in our eyes and selling Ballers and Felons for $9000 was a legitimate moneymaking method, these Dubstas, commonly known as Dubsta 2s because they used a different model than the standard street Dubsta, were highly prized because they sold for roughly $25000 each. But they were like the Romero Hearse in that they wouldn't spawn unless you had one of your own to trigger it, so in order to get that gravy train rolling, you had to know a guy. This particular Dubsta was used to spawn a great many more, both for other players to add to their own rare car collections as well as for myself to use as garage fillers, because 25K is still 25K.
Tumblr media
This Mesa was technically a Merryweather Mesa, specifically glitched to remove the roll cage but keep the hard top. Sadly, the mall in downtown wasn't very big, so it couldn't do a lot of crawling. I even tried to emulate the teal Bikini Pearlcoat color found on some modern Jeeps, though in hindsight I think I may have made it a bit too green.
Tumblr media
Applying suspension upgrades at the mechanic would lower a vehicle's center of gravity. This piece of information was vital for anyone intending to drive a Rumpo Custom on a regular basis. This awesome off-road van was wild to tear around in, especially while blasting its ahooga horn, but taking a turn too tight would make it topple over like an old Explorer unless you lowered it as much as you could. Glitching the roll cage and roof rack off of it to make it look more like a plain adventure van certainly didn't help mitigate that damage.

Alright, so! Champion Hop. Far less proficient than his contemporaries. Admittedly, 1/5, but so was Marnie, and we all know how that went.
Hop’s main issue is that, as a damage dealer, he’s surprisingly reliant on support without 3/5. The sync nuke would absolutely obliterate things no issue, but without multipliers it’s just kinda whatever. No MPR on Zone also causes some issues, as his DPS falls short without it, but it can’t last through a Gauntlet match. Speaking of Gauntlet, he can’t check gimmicks, so the primary damage dealer or support would need to, which is a bit troublesome. He’s also Psychic weak. So…that’s never good.
The bigger issue is that Hop is much more like standard damage dealers, in that when the sure crit moves come out, Hop starts shaking. It is a problem. Some of them just drop him where he stands, like Latias’ Earthquake. Speaking of which, Hop is thus far unable to handle Latias’ Fluid Fortification. Defenses and speed seem like a winning combo, but it leaves Latias at full firepower, and she will truck your team. Hop does not have the means to handle this at all. Even if Earthquake didn’t KO, his team likely doesn’t win.
I will admit that part of the issue is my fighting type roster is bad. I don’t have many good options that aren’t SC Diantha. So that’s going to limit him. I chose Marshal almost on a whim, but truthfully? He’s actually kinda pog. Super underestimated his recovery. He and Maylene are a bit of a power couple at this point, thanks to Pep Rally and her capping crit. Hop’s utility is in debuffing defense so Maylene can focus on healing, and Marshal gets a good amount of mileage out of a lucky flinch.
But. You may notice I don’t have any Champion Stadium wins. That’s because I didn’t have Fighting types that could handle off-type aside from Diantha. Hop’s debuffs are single target and super slow, so it’s…not really helping in any significant way. And if you thought gauntlet had gauge issues, wait until you’re playing with only four bars.
I dunno. I can’t tell if it’s Hop that’s underwhelming, or Fighting types broadly. But as a Psychic main myself? It’s the Fighting types.

sorry no pics of my cute ass outfit but it’s okay lol, i got so many compliments today it was super sweet i love women!!
ummm today was good. i woke up at 8:30 and got dressed and stuff right away and then katie and i went to dunkin for breakfast! and my iced coffee was too sweet. then we went to the farmer’s market and that was super cute and fun! it was such a beautiful day!! and there were so many dogs and beautiful women! and it was right on the river so you could hear the waterfall the whole time, it was fantastic! we walked around to all the stands before going back to buy things, i bought bread and sheep cheeses and mustard and garlic honey which is sooo tasty. i really want to go visit the bee farm (for lack of a better term. it’s midnight okay) that it came from!
after the farmers market we went home to chill out for a little. we tried all the stuff we bought and it was so yummy. the ac broke last night so we just chilled in katie’s room bc she has a portable ac unit going in here. we watched the secret world of arrietty and it was super cute! i almost fell asleep tho lol.
after that it was about 3:30, so we went w aunt maire to the food truck festival that was happening. it was cute but super hot and sunny out. first we had shaved ice and i got watermelon and blue raspberry flavoring. then we shared a stuffed soft pretzel (chicken bacon ranch cheese i think it was, it was amazinggg), and then i had a little brisket sandwich, some french fries, and a coke, appropriate bc we were at coca cola stadium. though the only water they were selling was dasani, yuck tap water. then katie got some cookie dough and we got back in the car to go home.
while we drove home i finally told aunt maire about mary and what she did to me growing up, and we had something like a heart to heart. it was strange to hear her say she was actively trying to get custody of me and alex and looking for any reason to call CPS. the reality of the situation was worse than she imagined and she felt bad about not trying harder, but if CPS had ever been involved in my life, that would have fucked my dad over even more than he already was screwing himself over. but it was nice to get it off my chest and to know how much my family hated her and was worried for us. it was hard for me to talk about, and i struggled to go into detail, but i’m glad i got it off my chest like i said. she deserved to know more than anyone, i think she cared the most. her and my mom were the closest after all.
i cried but it was cathartic. when we got home the atmosphere was light again and i was trying to deal with langston getting locked out and possibly needing to go home tonight but thankfully the key dude showed up and let him in. in case i had to leave tonight i went to see grandma! which was the first time i’d seen her in a long time, i should probably try to get up here on my own without katie more often. it was good to catch up. she’s getting knee surgery again soon. she’s getting old, i don’t want to forget to cherish her, or forget to make her feel as loved as she did for me. i love my grandma.
but yeah, after seeing grandma, we just came back home and have been kind of just chilling on our phones since then. obv i did not need to go back to the city tonight. i’m going to try to go tomorrow before the storm hits. tomorrow we might go to breakfast and then to the creamery for ice cream! that will be fun!
i’m so glad i came up here this weekend. i really needed it!!

SPFL Championship Hibernian F.C. Tropical Vibe Hawaiian Shirt
NFL New Orleans Saints Halloween Skull Pumpkin Hawaiian Shirt
Only three of the 2957 Plymouth dealers in 1999 were not also Chrysler dealers, so very few dealers were impacted by the decision to streamline the NFL New Orleans Saints Halloween Skull Pumpkin Hawaiian Shirt. And many of these 2957 also sold Dodge, so they could easily show the Dodge versions to interested buyers who did not want the Chrysler trim levels. When Mercedes evaluated Chrysler after the acquisition in 1998, the Plymouth brand was a logical sacrifice to save money and give the remaining brands unique attraction. Unit sales had been low for over a decade, less than half the equivalent Dodge model volumes, and the corporate executives calculated some level of network efficiencies to be had from canceling the Plymouth brand and streamlining the portfolios. After a year of internal discussions, the decision to end Plymouth was announced in November 1999. The last Plymouth brand Neon vehicles were produced in June 2001. The remaining brands had distinctive positions: Dodge (standard, performance), Jeep (SUV, fun), Chrysler (American luxury), and Mercedes (specialized European luxury), plus the super-luxury Maybach brand.

Tampa Bay Rays MLB Hawaiian Shirt Hammockstime Aloha Shirt
One year my wife and I went on our usual summer road trip through the States and we were near Cleveland. “Hey, the Tampa Bay Rays MLB Hawaiian Shirt Hammockstime Aloha Shirt from A Christmas Story is in Cleveland, let’s go.” So we did. It was just fantastic. A tour guide took you through the house first telling funny bits of trivia from the movie as we walked around the kitchen, living room, Ralphie’s room, the bathroom where the soap is (plastic), the phone on the wall where Mrs. Schwartz received the call. After the tour you could walk around on your own. Outside was the shed where the bad guys were crawling that Old Blue took care of and The Bumpusses house. I even took a walk down the street a few houses where Randy fell on the snow wearing his big snowsuit. Across the street was the museum where they had actual props from the movie, the clothes worn, photos and even the fathers car and the fire truck. I had a ball seeing the actual things that were in the movie. If you love this movie go to 3159 W 11th. St. In Cleveland, you won’t regret it.

SPFL Championship Hibernian F.C. Tropical Vibe Hawaiian Shirt
Britain and France have a combined population not much over 1/3rd of the US, and Rugby Union is very much second fiddle to Football (soccer) in both countries. The big clubs typically draw 15,000 fans to a SPFL Championship Hibernian F.C. Tropical Vibe Hawaiian Shirt, but can pull 50,000+ to a different stadium for a special occasion, whilst the biggest NFL teams are pulling 70,000+ average crowds, so there is less money playing rugby as a result. The England national team sell out their 82,000 seat stadium every game and could probably do so 3 times over for the biggest clashes — club rugby is not the peak of the game, but it’s where the bulk of a player’s income is made.

What is a Mobile Billboard?
Mobile billboard advertising, also known as mobile outdoor advertising or mobile billboard trucks, refers to the use of super-sized vehicles that carry billboards advertising goods and services. The idea behind mobile outdoor advertising is to catch the driver's eye with vibrant graphics that promote specific brands.
The goal of mobile billboards is to create a motorized form of advertising that's engaging and reciprocal. The main idea is to engage the audience with a strong message that promotes a specific product.
Types of Mobile Advertising Billboards
Static
Because they don't need special software, static mobile billboards are cheaper to use. Plus, the ads on these billboards remain the same and are easier for motorists and pedestrians to spot.
Digital
Mobile digital billboards are more dynamic because they display virtual images that are changed every few seconds by a computer. The good news is that they're interactive, as they use live graphics to convey a message about a specific brand. The downsides of digital billboards are that they are more expensive to buy and maintain. Plus, motorists and pedestrians may miss some or all of an ad.
Wrapped Vehicles
Motorists and pedestrians can see a symbolic depiction of a brand with a message. You can see a clear image of a company logo. A smooth vinyl coat creates a pristine image that's clear and shiny. This method works well with passenger vehicles.
Who Uses Mobile Billboards?
Mobile advertising is most commonly used in the following industries: retail sales, events, real estate, tourism and hospitality, brand awareness campaigns, and nonprofits. No matter what the motive is, one thing is clear: Mobile advertising is used to motivate, inspire, and promote products and services.
Mobile advertising is also used to evoke certain emotions in people. An example would be certain political ads containing messages about specific candidates during a political campaign. The idea is to inspire people to vote on a local or national level. It's not uncommon to use mobile advertising to support upcoming political issues during campaign season.
Read on to learn about how various industries benefit from mobile advertising.
Retail sales
Many retailers benefit from mobile advertising. Major corporations such as Target can promote sales on specific items and raise awareness on new or trending brands. It's an excellent way to refresh public interest in established brands, reach a broader audience and remain iconic.
But it isn't just the big names that benefit from this type of advertising. You can use mobile billboards to draw attention to local businesses such as restaurants, cafes, and boutiques in certain districts or regions. It's an excellent way to raise awareness and help neighborhood stores establish a firm consumer base.
Events
If you want to motivate an audience to attend an event, mobile advertising billboards are the way to go. You can raise awareness of concerts, festivals, and holiday events in your area. For best practices, be sure to target populated areas near the event, such as bars, restaurants, and stadiums.
Real estate
If you're a real estate agent or a property manager, mobile advertising is an exceptional way to boost your business. Use it to promote new or renovated homes, raise awareness of open house events, or forecast new information on rental deals. You may want to alert the public on new or developing neighborhoods in their region.
When advertising for homes or rental properties, be sure to establish your target audience. For example, if you want to advertise for deals on retirement homes, try going to an area where people aged 62 and over gather. An example would be a senior day center, geriatric primary care office, or a golf course.
Tourism and hospitality
Tourism and hospitality are excellent beneficiaries of mobile advertising. Visitors and tourists can get a glimpse of local services and venues in your area. You can advertise local attractions such as museums, zoos, historic sites, and other local landmarks. Mobile ads should include basic information about hotel deals and travel agencies in your town. You can display mobile ads on local restaurants and major chains in your area.
Brand awareness campaigns
Brand awareness campaigns are an excellent way to reach a wide audience. Here, you can raise awareness about specific products or services using interactive graphics on a mobile billboard. Truck advertising is an exceptional way to promote specific brands like health and beauty products. For example, you can create or display ads on a variety of Avon products, such as makeup, skin care, or fashion.
Nonprofits
With mobile advertising, you can create emotionally charged ads that encourage some form of giving. This is an excellent tool for motivating people to volunteer for a local cause, such as a homeless shelter or animal rescue league. This method is ideal for promoting fundraisers and major events. Local and national organizations can use it to inform the public of an upcoming sale or concert, where a portion of the proceeds are donated to a cause.
The Cost Marketing With Mobile Advertising Billboards
There are many factors that add in to the cost of mobile advertising billboards. There are things to consider, such as vehicle type, graphics user, and billboard size. You also need to plan ahead for your advertising campaign. How long will it be, where will you go, and what are your expenses?
One thing to keep in mind is that price depends on vehicle size, the billboard, and the type of software used for the advertising. Most large trucks such as semis can cost an average of $500-$800 per day to rent. If you decide to order a billboard for both sides, you could be looking at design costs that range anywhere from $1,200-$1,600 for design software alone. Startup costs for static and digital billboards are $24,000 and $100,000, respectively.
It's important to keep in mind that you may be expected to pay out-of-pocket for vehicle operating costs. This includes insurance, gas, routine and emergency maintenance. These are things to bear in mind before you begin your mobile advertising campaigns.
Benefits of Using Mobile Advertising Billboards
Recent developments have made mobile advertising easier on consumers and businesses. The use of geotargeting enables companies and organizations to use specific location data that reveals neighborhoods or districts to find the right people. Businesses can reach out and establish a firm consumer base with this type of technology. Customers, on the other hand, can get a little information about specific brands that cater to their needs. This level of outreach is an excellent way to establish rapport and trust between businesses and customers. What are some other benefits of mobile advertising? We've created a list of the many ways that mobile advertising billboards can benefit your brand.
Real-Time Updates
Exceptional technology allows you to update your billboard periodically. You can change your ads as you travel from place to place. This gives you the opportunity to reach a variety of audiences, which allows you to boost business while getting a brand message across. Real-time updates allow you to keep your mobile ads current by creating new material. The use of dynamic graphics uses interactive imagery to captivate and engage viewers in every demographic region.
Exceptional Visibility
Remember those old billboards from yesterday? Given the imagery, it was pretty hard not to see them. Now that billboards have gone mobile, everything is out there. The eye-catching graphics and strong message make it even easier for the public to see them.
Cost-Effective Option
Mobile advertising offers the type of extended exposure that's meant to capture any audience. Businesses looking to improve their customer base and boost revenue may want to seek it as an option to radio or TV ads.
Even though it may be initially expensive, mobile advertising is an excellent investment in your business. This is especially true, since ads can be changes to fit a certain demographic. That said, it may be a worthy investment for the future of your business.
