This doesn't have much to do with your Au, which by the way is incredible and fascinates me, the question is, who are your favorite characters from the HTF Original? And what did you use to create your 3 main OCs? (PS: Cro-Marmot is very cute in your drawings 💚)

Again, I really can’t pick favorites, they all have such fun gimmicks and dynamics. I work more along the lines of “what kind of story do I wanna tell” and then cast accordingly. Every single one of them has been a hoot in one way or another though.

If I’m going by which ones have had some of my favorite gags/deaths? Narrowing it down to 3? It may come as a surprise but that might have to be Mime, Nutty, and Handy. When either of those three are on screen I know it’s about to be a good time. They can always make me laugh.

Flaky I have a soft spot for because man do I want to root for them so bad. I want them to fight and succeed against all odds. They make such a great protagonist character. Then there’s Flippy who has a big heart but also has a very very unfortunate problem that is an absolute blast to write about. He’s trying his best.

Literally I can sit down and come up with gags for any character though and it’s always fun, no matter the character. Even Cro Marmot I have learned to really really love, not just because of the backstory I have for him but also just the silliness of his whole inanimate block of ice gimmicks.

As for what I used to create the Trio ocs…um…my brain? And all the inspirations that my brain has soaked up during my years of living I suppose? I needed antagonists for a plot and so I based them around the Cursed Idol and then they just grew and grew and grew as I developed the story more and now they have a whole life of their own. The story initially created these characters and in turn these characters now create the story. After a certain point they just write themselves.

And thank you! I love this goofy caveman. I really wanna draw more of his prehistoric shenanigans
