“Why would you want to be a housewife! It’s so misogynistic and outdated!”
Say the same women who complain that they have to come home from work and then do all the same things a housewife does anyway.
The difference however, is a housewife has more time to do it. A housewife can get things done throughout the entire day. A housewife doesn’t come home from work and then be cranky about having to do things at home because she’s always home. She’s always there to deal with things as they come up instead of trying to deal with everything during the minimal time she has off work.

Wanting a man to provide for you doesn’t mean you’re incapable. Of course you’re capable. But it’s nice to have someone help you and take of you. That doesn’t mean you can’t do those things yourself. That just means someone loves you enough to make your life that bit easier <3

It's all very aesthetics when you're gardening in a skirt... Until a wasp or a bee gets caught under it and bites your leg.

You don't often see plus size people from "past ages" so I wanted to share her. And I'm really envious of her bicycle. I want some like this too!

One of the trad lifestyle’s most potent attractions is nostalgia. When the Neelemans began renovations on their 103-year-old, 2,500-square-foot farmhouse in 2018, they instructed the contractor to expose the original hardwood floors and restore the century-old fireplace that the previous owners had tiled over. They asked for a red wooden barn for their animals rather than the metal ones preferred by modern farmers. “Each time a visitor compliments us on how much they like our ‘old red barn,’” Hannah wrote on Instagram, “I smile. It’s only two months old, but you would never know.” The contractors also demolished the kitchen to bring Hannah’s vision to life, but “we didn’t restore our centenarian home to its original glory only to endow it with a modern kitchen,” she explained. Instead, they replaced the old white stove with a cast-iron AGA model that costs up to $20,000, hid the refrigerator in the pantry, and installed a linen curtain to conceal the dishwasher. Pioneers didn’t have such luxuries, but the Neelemans would—in private.
[...]
The past that tradwives want to return to, an anachronistic pastiche of rugged pioneer individualism and midcentury familial plenty, never really existed. The lifestyle they promote is, like the Neelemans’ faux-rustic kitchen, a thoroughly modern construction: its incongruous elements are concealed behind bespoke doors and linen curtains. These aesthetic signifiers, confused as they may be, point to periods of American history in which white families were prioritized above all others. And some tradwives are explicit about their desire for racial supremacy.

We as a society need to bring back the absolute beauty of 1940s/1950s aprons. There is very little I wouldn’t do to own that heart apron.

I don't like matriarchal societies
I was having a talk about matriarchal societies and the reason I don't truly admired them. I consider them a last resort.
You can backtrack the origin of all matriarchal societies to a similar story. Men were stupid and were to war too much, women got fed of them, went away with their children and stuff and made them either conform or loose them. They are peaceful. Balance is achieved. All societies should be like this.
Except I don't like this at all.
I don't like stupid men.
I applaud the brave women who realized something was wrong and decided to take action, but I don't think this is were we should be at all.
Men are stronger than us. When physical hardship comes, they last longer, they go further, they protect and they sacrifice whatever is needed. They do it so they can protect the softness of a wife's embrace, a child's hand, soft smiles among darkness.
When we protect men they don't give us that, they just pass out and them we call them lazy. Women cannot be the protector and the softness at the same time.
We need to restore the balance. We need strong, protector men.

I've had some pretty bad days, feeling achy and sick(an understatement).
Fibromyalgia was really kicking my butt.
But I'm ready to get things done again in my home.
Lots of laundry, letting my mattress and duvet air out and just general tidying and spot leaning.
Wish me luck ♡

I honestly feel like I was made to be a housewife.
I want to wear cute aprons and bake cookies for someone I love. I want someone to dress up and do my makeup for. I want someone I can genuinely rely on to always be there for me. I want someone I can trust who loves me and knows I love them too. I want someone I can make cute things for if I ever learn any of the skills I wanna learn. I want someone who’s always there to encourage me and keep me safe. I want someone who knows they can rely on me to make their life at least a little bit easier. I want to take care of someone I love more than life itself.
