"Not entitled to URLs" I've never anyone say that before but you are right
i'm not the only one saying it but yeah.
like. i get it sucks, especially for cc's that have a "brand" right. like of course phil is gonna want the philza/ph1lza url
and anyone would. i would of course, but here's like, the thing right.
these cc's have known about tumblr for years. some have even voiced that they're 'scared' of it.
but twitter is going down a shitty road, and i don't blame them for wanting to jump ship
but now they want their usernames that they've built their brand around. and i get it, but here's the thing.
tumblr isn't like any other platform, and it is almost entirely fandom based
having "canon" urls of characters or fandoms or people is a commodity.
some people hoard urls (which is against tos to an extent, although tumblr does allow you to have some spares, if you have too many they can be taken from you if they've been unused. to my knowledge if you post on said accounts or use them in any way or switch between urls this tos doesnt usually apply, but some people do get terminated for having like 20+ urls saved)
but others genuinely will wait until they see a url deactivate or change and snatch it up
urls are traded around. fuck if i recall a few years back some bigger companies offered money to users to buy certain urls because they wanted them.
but like, these are rightfully obtained urls by fans. they've waited and snatched them up, it's been a race. i got ones like ghostburboo because i made it within a minute of ghostbur's last name being dropped. my best friend has a fundylive account. i know people who have canon urls, they're not impersonating cc's. they enjoy them or their content and post like normal, but those urls are apart of their tumblr space/identity.
and if a cc asked someone for a url and they said 'sure man here you go' then awesome! but they're not doing that, or they've not yet done anything like that. they just go straight to tumblr or they're vocally complaining on twitter about being unable to get urls they want.
i know for phil tumblr responded to him, and i hope to fucking *everything* he does not get those urls by tumblr taking them from someone. that's bullshit and i'm sorry like- i love phil but that's some bullshit. no one should be allowed to just say "hey tumblr i want my url" and tumblr can go "okay king!" and do it, when someone else got it first. thats how all websites work, if someone got that url first they get it. you cant throw a fit if you didnt catch the worm man.
tommy made up a funny url, sneegsnag did, so have others who've joined and couldnt get their classic usernames, why anyone feels entitled to these usernames is crazy to me.
because yeah you've built your brand around it, but you're entering into a fan space.
and these people have, on twitter, admitted to "i might not use this often lol" but they still want the urls, which is once again bullshit.
they're jumping ship from twitter for very good reason, but it's not fair to the users who have been here for years using their urls and usernames to be pressured or at risk of them being taken, especially if the cc isn't even going to be using tumblr all that much.
its tumblr and it's 2022. if you can't get some canon url you mix the letters up. why do you think i have an x in my name? chekhovsgun is taken and has been for ages, so i replaced the o with an x myspace style
use numbers, do something funny. i think tommy's is very funny (and he wasnt upset about not getting tommyinnit, he seemed more sad about not getting wifehaver) sneegsnag's is very funny
these ppl are entering in an enclosed terrarium and then wanting to take the sticks and leaves from bug houses to make their own house and like, bruh you can't just do that.
besides they're not even like, they have so many options. tumblr does custom domains, so they can still have their names they'd just have to get a custom domain for it instead of it being name.tumblr
they can straight up go onto twitter or twitch or youtube and say "hey chat my tumblr is minecraftblockman69 follow me there lmao"
and then there's proof! then people know "hey that's my streamer's tumblr" and the whole risk of impersonation doesnt even matter
like. i dunno man. its extremely upsetting to see people jump ship and want things they feel entitled to have because of their brand, disrespecting that this is a fandom space, when chances are they may not even post here or stay here long.

i started with lancer for her because on previous characters i knew that i liked playing conjurer but i feel like i always play conjurer so i wanted to do something else that would let me start conjurer pretty soon
i think monk might honestly be my favorite class to play either that or bard- i feel like monk allows me some more flexibility in that i have like 3 main options per rotation (and also i really like the thunderclap ability lmao) but bard is fun because its like ohohohoho look at how much damage i can do with mages ballad + bloodletter >:)
i currently have all the base game classes except thaumaturge because i didnt like it when i tried it on another character (probably gonna try again with it at some point though). i started with healing but i realized i really fuck with tanking also (and it lets me dress up as a cowboy with an axe)

fiction aside tho, i saw you’re thoughts on pt 2 and i’m not sure what i think about it tbh?? i honestly thought we were going to get a whole new album (quite a naive thought looking back now) so the fact that it was basically a repackage made me :// i do think that maybe the title tracks lack some of the usual nct ~flavour~? i liked 90s love but it didn’t feel interesting enough for me? and work it just isn’t my style (except for jungwoo in the bridge haha) i’d say the b-sides are pretty standard though, they tend to go all out experimental with their title tracks and then the b-sides are chiller songs and ballads,,, i do enjoy the different combinations of members though,,, i wonder when this project will officially end? imagine if they hadn’t postponed 127’s japanese album lmao

story summary: Dan is half-angel half-demon whose parents sent him to earth to try and live a normal life when he turned 18. In doing this, he lost any power he had, if proven he could live among them normally. The only rule? He couldn’t fall in love with a mortal. Fast forward 5 years later, just before his 23rd birthday, when things go downhill once he meets a barista in a coffee shop who he befriends and falls for.

Chapter Two: how could something so fair (be so cruel)
Beep. Beep. Beep.
Dan groaned, slamming the button on his alarm to stop the blaring noise. His bleary eyes squinted at the clock.
“11. That’s okay,” he muttered, hiding under his blankets to stop the persistent pain in his stomach, as if his body was reminding him he should be somewhere.
He suddenly rose from the covers.
“10. Lecture. Fuck.”
He leapt up, clearing his blurry thoughts from his mind, and ran to the bathroom, shoving a bottle of Listerine down his throat. Choking with disgust, he grabbed the first clothes on the floor to throw on, and sprinted out the door, black Muse tote bag stumbling out of his careless hands. Barely catching his breath, he staggered into the lecture room one hour and forty-five minutes late, seemingly unnoticed. He slipped into the back seat, laying out his notebook, pencil case and laptop.
“Rough morning, huh?” Chris whispered.
“It was actually a very good morning, until I woke up and realised I was one hour late for the lecture,” Dan whispered back.
Chris sniggered. “I’ll bet.”
Chris was one of the very few humans who Dan could talk to without seeming like a fool, mostly because Chris was very rather odd himself. Most people in his philosophy class were aesthetic, intelligent and very pretentious, but Chris made sure he was never two of those things at once. He was the person who introduced him to most of the human things he likes now, and has unknowingly helped Dan slip into human society very well.
Dan glanced at Chris’ notes. “Anything important?”
“It’s a philosophy class. Nothing is important, Dan,” Chris said. “I’ll give you the notes after, asshole.”
“Rude. Exam’s on Monday, right?” Dan said.
“Yeah, and the hand-in essay’s due before 12pm Wednesday.”
Dan sighed. “Well, fuck. I better listen.”
Chris wriggled closer to Dan, assuming his tea-spilling posture. “Have you-”
“Shut up!” Dan hissed.
Chris rolled his eyes, slouching back into the chair, and resumed his note-taking for the last fifteen minutes of class before they were dismissed.
“Oh, hurry up. I have something to show you,” Chris said.
“I haven’t had my morning coffee yet, please cut me some slack.” Dan yawned, slowly placing his items in his tote bag.
“That’s what I was going to show you,” Chris replied. “Hurry up!”
Dan finally finished putting his stationery away, and shoved his pencil in his pocket approximately five minutes later, after around one hundred carefully-crafted insults from Chris. “I’m done, what do you want to show me?”
“I have found the best coffee shop in the entirety of London,” Chris announced, heading out of the lecture room. Dan raised his eyebrows.
“I highly doubt that,” Dan said.
“Okay, maybe it’s not the best. But the baristas?” Chris blew a kiss into the air.
Dan shook his head, disappointed. “Chris, what did I say about objectifying people?”
“Please, come. It’s called ‘Never Gonna Give Brew Up’,” Chris said, looking at Dan expectantly. Dan stared back, expressionless.
“You know, like Never Gonna Give You Up?” Chris hinted.
“Yes, I understand the joke. You keep sending me links to the music video.”
Chris laughed. “Wait, you actually click on them?”
Dan scoffed. “Of course not. I memorized the several URLs you’ve sent so I recognise it straight away. I also tend to distrust every link you send.”
“As you should. Anyway, I am begging you to come. There’s one especially cute boy who I know works today, and I also know he’s very single. His name is Jack, and he is absolutely adorable.”
Dan continued walking, making no response.
“Dan. You’re single, sad, very gay and very lonely. Just ask him out, go on a date, see how it is,” Chris begged.
Dan snorted. “Like your love life is perfect.”
“Hey, I may not have a long-term partner, but at least I’m going on dates and meeting up with people. In all the four years I’ve known you, I’ve never seen you go on a single date unprompted.”
Dan shrugged. “Haven’t found the right guy.”
“Come on. Just come to the coffee shop, at least,” Chris pleaded.
“Fine,” Dan said, deciding to humour Chris. “I’ll meet the barista.”

Jack the barista was, in fact, very hot, just like Chris stated. They were definitely not the first people to notice that. There was a whole clump of people in the cafe hovering around him, eager for him to give them a chance, or a glance. It was ridiculous.
“This is ridiculous,” Dan muttered, turning to leave. “I’m going to get out of here.”
Chris grabbed his arm. “I’m not letting you leave, Howell.”
Dan groaned as Chris pushed him back in the line and started ordering the food.
“I didn’t come here to ogle at the resident hoe,” Dan whispered violently in his ear. “I am leaving.”
“What did you just call me?”
Dan froze, and looked to the unfamiliar voice that came from in front of him.
“Resident hoe. Don’t take it personally. I’m sure you’re a lovely person, I’m just lashing out and name-calling because my friend here is trying to set me up with you. I apologise.”
Jack smirked in amusement. “At least let the resident hoe get you some coffee. You look like you haven’t slept in years.”
“Probably because I haven’t,” Dan admitted. “And not in a sexy way.”
Jack snorted, and handed Dan a drink. “I think this coffee has the most caffeine which you can possibly stuff in a drink.”
“Sorry for calling you the resident hoe,” Dan said, turning to go.
“Well, if you want to make a full apology, I’ll be here tonight as well,” Jack said. “Opening hours till midnight.”
Dan grinned. “I’ll think about it.”

“I cannot believe you won him over by calling him a resident hoe,” Chris said, as they were leaving the cafe.
“What were you picturing?” Dan asked, taking a sip of his coffee.
Chris shrugged. “I don’t know. Not that. But hey, it worked! And you have another chance to actually talk to him tonight. You are going back there tonight, right?”
Dan clicked his tongue. “I’m thinking about it.”
“You better go,” Chris warned. “He literally invited you back to the cafe. You’re not gonna get that chance again.”
Dan glanced at his watch. “Well, I have approximately twelve whole hours to think about whether I should go back to the cafe to call Jack names, so that’s plenty of time to think. That’s philosophy, right? Thinking about stuff.”
Chris sighed. “Yeah. You should probably head to the library to revise right now.”

Dan looked up helplessly at his blank word document. He had been in the library for three whole hours, yet he had written absolutely nothing. He stared at the blinding white of his screen, mind completely empty. Frankly, he was incredibly amazed at his brain for managing to not have a single thought yet also have too many thoughts. Slowly and helplessly, he began to type random things that came to his brain.
Are immortal people allowed to fall in love with human beings?
Dan paused, then pressed the enter button.
No.
why?
because theyll probably find out?? that you’re a demon angel fuckin thing whatever also theyll die before u and thats like sad idk yeah
Dan sighed. A+ essay right there.
The thing is, he kind of really wanted to go on that date with Jack. He seemed like a nice guy. It would be kind of fun. Besides, it would really shut Chris up and he wouldn’t pester him for a few months.
It wasn’t like he was going to marry Jack, after all. Like, he was pretty much the resident hoe.
Dan sighed deeply.
But if an immortal person went to a cafe with the possibility of going out with someone who was not going to be a potential future partner, would that be wrong?
After a long pause, Dan began to type again.
No.
And with that, he gave up on his essay, packed up his bags and left the library.

Surprisingly, Never Gonna Give Brew Up was still open, and very brightly lit. Dan didn’t really know why he was surprised. He was told that it closed at midnight, after all. But still, he didn’t normally associate open cafes with dark evenings. He swung the door open and stepped inside with a wide grin.
“Hey J-” Dan paused. “You’re not Jack.”
The barista at the counter looked up from his screen with a smirk. “Astute observation.”
Dan stepped carefully in the cafe, closing the door behind him to make sure it didn’t slam. The barista was watching him carefully, smirk still planted on his irritatingly handsome face. Dan was seriously beginning to think the only qualification for applying to this cafe was to be good-looking.
“Well. This is awkward,” Dan said.
The barista shrugged. “For you, maybe. For me, this is rather entertaining. Tell me, what service were you wanting from Jack? I’m guessing it’s not coffee.”
Dan snorted. “Well, it’s a long story.”
“Is it?” the barista said, raising an eyebrow.
Dan thought over it. “Not really. I called him the resident hoe and I came here to apologise slash ask him out. That’s pretty much it.”
“I’m sorry for cockblocking you. I’ll give you free coffee to make up for it,” the barista offered.
“Thanks, I could use that actually. I have an exam I haven’t studied for and a hand-in essay I haven’t begun coming up in the next few days, so I’m guessing I’m not going to be getting a lot of sleep for a while.” Dan said.
“You already look like you haven’t gotten a lot of sleep in a while,” the barista pointed out.
Dan chuckled joylessly. “Thanks, everyone says that to me when I meet them.”
“I mean, I also haven’t been getting a lot of sleep. And no offense to your Jack, but it’s kind of because of him.”
“Oh yeah? Give me the tea,” Dan said. Then he frowned. “Or the coffee. I don’t know whether you do make tea here.”
“I’ll give you the tea and the coffee,” the barista joked, grabbing a cup to start making Dan’s drink. “It’s not really that interesting tea, though. I just have to keep on doing Jack’s shifts because he always says he’s busy last minute. He’s such an asshole. Probably did you a favour with the cockblock, mate.”
“Damn. Thanks for that, I guess,” Dan said, and the barista laughed, giving Dan an odd warm fuzzy feeling inside. Before he could fully process what that was, the barista handed him the drink.
“Here,” he said, and Dan took a sip, pleasantly surprised.
“I have to say, this is a lot better than the one Jack gave me,” Dan commented.
“Of course it is. Jack’s shit at making coffee,” the barista said.
Dan laughed. “Yeah, it was kind of nasty.”
“You should probably get to that essay soon, though,” the barista said, and Dan suddenly realised he may have overstayed his welcome. He cleared his throat.
“Yeah, probably should. Thanks for the free coffee,” Dan said.
The barista smiled. “Yeah, it was no problem.”
“I didn’t catch your name, by the way.”
“Phil. And you are?”
“Dan.”
“Dan,” Phil said, like he was trying the name out for the first time. “Nice to meet you, Dan.”
“Nice to meet you too, Phil,” Dan said, and left happier than he’d felt in weeks.

He didn't have to wait long before the familiar pings and blops of instant messages and questions asked to his blog started.

Hisoka snickers to himself, lazily grabbing another whiteclaw from the fridge, before retreating to his bedroom desk. He takes a first sip of his drink while opening his laptop, and quickly going on tumblr.com once it has finished setting up.

With a satisfied sigh, the popular blogger sets down his can, and cracks his knuckles.
YouTube Influencers make a lot of money through ad-revenue. Instagram influencers hold themselves over water with sponsorships. And though Hisoka did hold a platform on both of these as well, he preferred the more traditional customs of the blogging site. You don't get paid for having a lot of followers, or making popular posts, and sponsorships are almost entirely unheard of. But he wasn't in it for the money anyway. The drama was far more alluring.
Hisoka had made his starts as a "Tumblr influencer" through creating blog layouts, masterposts of custom themes, and the occasional "funny" post, which was usually just him vagueing about someone that pissed him off that day.
His first call-out post he wrote at 7k followers, calling out a far bigger blogger than he is for stealing codes for their theme and for kinning a character from a TV show that has generally been frowned upon on Tumblr for being "atrocious and a bad influence".
No one likes to admit it, but everyone loves a little drama, don't they? To see someone else's dirty laundry aired out, the relief that it isn't their own, the community effort of shutting someone out of their reigns for one simple post.
A satisfied Huff escapes Hisoka as he dwells in this lovely memory. Time to make a new one.

No reply for 10 minutes. Hisoka bites his bottomlip, basking in the excitement of the unknown next moves of Chrollo. He was unpredictable, and thats what made him fun to toy with. If he was simply out to ruin someone's blogging experience, he could have cherry picked any one popular blog, dig long enough for dirt, and run them off the site in less than 2 hours.

Why are proud to be lgbt+? i’m comfortable with the people i like. i might not be very confident and i have depression, anxiety, self esteem issues, probs adhd or ocd idfk but at least i know if i see a pretty girl or smth im gonna be like wow that girl is pretty and have no bad thoughts about it. it’s just how it be. after a lot of dissecting my past behavior, ive always been this way. you cant change who you are. just accept it

ok so. it all started on April 31st, 2018. i reblogged one of those ask games and she sent me an emoji that said “i’m too scared to talk to you but i think you’re great” and i was like do it!!! and she did!!!! she texted me after i had already gone to sleep tho, so i only answered the next day. but then we talked all day. and the next. and the next. and we never ran out of things to talk about and even only knowing her for a few days i already felt comfortable enough with her to talk about anything?? it was wild. since day 1 we’ve had this connection that i’ve never had with anyone else and its my favorite thing in the world. after like a week we already had a bunch of inside jokes, something that i’d never had before, and i was already crushing on her. ok so we became very close friends like immediately, and i mostly ignored my crush on her bc i thought she didn’t like me back and usually i’d get meaningless crushes on everyone at first before i met her. but then this other girl and i started flirting and i realized i didnt like her bc i liked c too much, so i broke things off and kinda went like “oh shit this is real” and decided that i’d just stay friends with c until i eventually couldnt take it anymore and had to tell her abt my feelings bc thats how i am. anyways ok cool meanwhile i made her watch the good place on rabb.it with me which will be relevant later.
ok so fast forward to may 21st or something around that time. its time to sleep bc i have school the next day so we say goodnight, but then i guess she says something or reblogs something and i get sad bc i realize she doesnt like me back. so i make some hashtag sad posts abt yearning and then i realize i told her i was going to sleep and i didnt want her to think i didnt want to talk to her so i text her again and say like “ok i was going to go to sleep but then i got sad abt my crush” and SHE GOES “you have a crush????????” and im there like. what in the hell bc not only did i not try to hide it At All, i constantly posted about it and had an entire tag about her and i thought it was pretty obvious. so anyways i go “yes?? i thoought you knew that?? im literally always posting about it??” and she asks me to talk abt the crush and who it is. i say “just stalk the tag if u want, im going to sleep” then shes like “nO WAIT WHO IS IT” and im like. blatantly ignoring that and my heart is already beating out of my chest but she Really wants to know and then at one point i say “please dont make me answer that” so shE SAYS “you’re making me think that its me” and i say “i dont know what you want me to say” and SHE GOES “I WANT YOU TO SAY THAT ITS ME BC I HAVE A HUGE CRUSH ON YOU” so i just. die. right then and there. also yknow we talk about it and its like after 1 am and im just happier than i’ve ever been. ok so 2 days later she asks me out Officially and its great and shes the cutest gf ever and she made me feel more wanted than i’d ever felt in my entire life. then 6 days later she sends me a big big big text on tumblr and long story short (bc it was kinda personal), she would be deleting her all social media for the summer.
so she was gone. and we had only dated for a week at this point, but we’d known each other for 2 months, and i already loved her. i already knew she was the love of my life. i didnt even try to move on, i’d tell people i didnt wanna move on cuz i knew i was meant to love her. i had another blog like this that i used to talk about how much i loved and missed her (so like. exactly like this). i literally reasoned with myself that like. that happened because before i met her i was in a really bad place after a terrible relationship and i was almost giving up on finding someone who actually made me feel loved bc i thought it would never happened, so i was like “ok so i was in a really bad place, so the universe brought my soulmate a little early just for a while so that i would know i had to hold on, and when its actually time for us to be together, it will bring us to each other once again” like i actually told myself that, in those words. and yknow what? i wasnt even wrong. on july 15th she texted me from an empty tumblr with her old url and at first i literally couldnt believe it but we talked for hours and hours and i asked her what happened bc i thought she was disconnecting for the summer and she said “i was. i am. i just couldnt not talk to you anymore” and she said that she thought about me every single day, and i told her i missed her and she said she didnt text sooner bc she thought i’d be angry at her and ofc i wouldnt, i could never be angry at her and besides, she was just taking care of herself and i said i dont think i could be anything less than head over heels for for, and she said she felt the same way, but wasnt ready to be more than friends yet. but that had always been more than enough for me. just having her in my life would always be more than enough for me. so we stayed friends.
then, on august 9th i got this ask.
and she saw it after i said i was gonna go to bed (bc again, i had school the next day) and she texted me a whole thing about how that was the nicest thing anyone had ever said about her and that i should be asleep but she had to get it out of her chest and that her anxiety made it hard for her to show how much i meant to her so she was sorry if i didnt know and this would probably make no sense but she was tired of keeping it to herself bc shes the luckiest person alive for having met me and that it was gonna be so hard because shes so difficult (shes not) and her anxiety is difficult but that she literally spent every night thinking about me and of buying plane tickets to come see me so that she could be with me. then she was like “im sorry if this is uncomfortable to you and you can just ignore it but i think im in love with you and this is over text and not romantic at all (it was the most romantic night of my life) but you’re asleep (i wasnt) and we arent together but i want to be one day” and until this i was Trying to fall asleep and then i checked my phone that kept RINGING and died a thousand times over and started to answer and she sent other texts saying “i’ve never felt this way about anyone before i’m so in love with you its fucking ridiculous and this is gonna be so complicated but fuck i want this so bad / i’m sorry it took me so long / would you move to new york with me?” and i was This Close to literally fucking exploding like. how the hell was this happening how was it not a DREAM. so we talked and i obviously said i loved her too and eventually she asked me out and thats still probably the best night of my life. other highlights: “i’ve loved you way before august 9th so jot that down” and “off topic but i love you / you’re honestly my other half” and, after i said “you cant make me laugh its 2am”, she answered “i’m going to make you laugh for the rest of your life so help me god” and thats my favorite thing anyone has ever said to me probably and so far she’s kept her word.
anyways we got back together and then she told me that she never even told her friends she broke up with me??? bc that way she could keep pretending we were still together???? literally like sjdksndk imagine being this loved. i dont have to. anyways she wrote poems abt me sometimes and her christmas gift for me was gonna be a book with all her poems and she called it “what we owe to each other” because of the good place (remember how i said it’d be relevant later? its later) bc like she said that when we were watching tgp together on rabb.it thats when she realized that she Really Truly liked me like For Real. and the inscription on the book was going to be “to the girl i love / and what i owe her” and. yall. i cry. anyways one of the poems had a huge impact on us. heres the story:
and she got them but we broke up before she got to mail them to me. what happened was she had some mental health problems and she said she couldnt give me what i needed at the time but knew i’d still give her my all bc thats just how i am and she thought it wouldnt be fair so she broke things off to work on her mental health. she said she would need some time before we could be friends. the last thing we said was that we loved each other. this was in like november 2018, and we didnt talk for months. i actually tried to move on this time after a while, but it didnt take. and then i gave up for good. havent tried since. but anyways, then, on march 11th, 2019, i had my first day of college back in my home country, and we have this “pranks”/games that seniors get to do to the freshmen, and one of them required eggs, and they asked us to paint them, so i panted mine as iron man bc it was easy, but c LOVES iron man. like. LOVES. like in a Whole New Level of loving. once when we were dating she said she loved me more than tony stark and i was like. shook. like she tattooed “T.S” on her ankle after him. u get the point. she loves him very much, its adorable and endearing and i love it. anyways. so i sent her a picture of it saying like “you dont have to answer this but i made this for my university and i thought you would like it” and she answered and IMMEDIATELY something clicked and we talked and talked and talked and it was never weird or awkward or uncomfortable. it never is with her. its incredible, i cant explain it. i Know shes my soulmate like thats the ONLY possible explanation for this kind of connection. its unreal. anyways. we became friends again! all was well.
then one beautiful night she drunk texts me sndjkajs she sends me so many texts and says it sucks that we live so far away and that she saw my posts (in this particular case, one that said something about like. when she talked about love now, was it about someone else?) and she said that it wasnt. and then she went to sleep and i only saw the texts when i woke up and i was DYING bc we had a 4 hour difference and it’d take a while for her to wake up. when she did, we talked and she said she wasnt over me and was scared she might never be, and even though we were still gonna stay friends, it was nice to know that she still loved me. ok so fast forward a bit more and i was starting to wonder if she’d moved on again, when she finds out her best friend had a crush on her, and that conversation ends up with her saying “it was 100% platonic for me / sorry if thats weird i just wanted you to know that” and it was NOT weird it was GREAT NEWS bc i was Hella jealous of her best friend and at first i wondered if they were dating and anyways the fact that she wanted me to know that was a pretty good hint that she still had feelings for me. ngl im still somewhat jealous of h (c’s best friend), but thats just bc im an insecure lil bitch and also bc they get to go out and do stuff together that i cant do with c bc of the distance, yknow? but anyways. then she went on a graduation trip in mid to the end of june and she bought me a magnet. just. out of nowhere. i cannot stress enough how Incredibly unexpected this was. so much so that i actually convinced myself that it meant she was over me????? literally. what the fuck. anyways we named him together and coincidentally (or bc of soulmate powers. who knows) we both had the same favorite names. i still love that.
okay so then we go to july 29th, 2019. first of all theres one of my favorite interactions Ever which was like after i was venting about something and i was thanking her and i said “you’re always here for me” to which she answered “nowhere else i’d rather be” and i still think thats peak romance and i will take no criticism on this. anyways so then she sent me a poem that she wrote based on a song i’d sent her (the song i called “heaven is a place” and its the BIGGEST mood for being in love and i sent it to her bc it was how i felt about her so her writing a poem about it?? literally the best thing ever. love it) anyways it was a beautiful poem and i cried and got very emotional and kinda went too far in my compliments (aka being very obvious about my romantic feelings) and then i was like oh no sorry if i made u uncomfortable and she was like. “you have NEVER. EVER EVER EVER EVER made me uncomfortable” “you’re the only person on planet earth i am comfortably myself around” and “there’s nothing you could ever say that i wouldn’t wanna hear” and anyways it was just very good and romantic conversation even tho we were just cough cough platonic hashtag gal pals hashtag no homo ✌️ and then she was like ok wait. i need to talk to u abt something. and in short she said she was waiting for us and i was like well what are you waiting for exactly? and she was like idk?? for us to accidentally bump into each other in new york in a few years?? WHICH WAS LITERALLY WHAT I’D DAYDREAM ABOUT BACK IN JUNE 2018 BEFORE SHE CAME BACK OKAY so anyways we had a Great conversation and said i love you about a thousand times each and she decided she was gonna buy tickets to come see me. and then she dID like TWO DAYS LATER. lichrally. queen of impulsivity but in the best way possible.

ok quick edit here cuz i forgot to say that when i found out she was coming i asked for my mom’s help to make a necklace pendant for her from scratch. my mom works with prosthetics so she has the material to make jewelry and back when c and i were dating in 2018 i had made this lil design for a necklace that had the moon and the ocean (bc duh) and i was gonna give it to her for valentines day in 2019 but we broke up before that so i didnt get the chance, but when i found out i was meeting her i knew i had to. so i made the necklace in wax, like this:
and my mom took it to her work and heated it up to melt it and keep the shape of it to fill with silver, and this was the result:
i gave it to her when she got here and she wore it while she was here and it made me so happy. ok edit over

ok so we kept being like couple-y but not officially in a relationship bc we didnt want to make her anxiety worse. also at one point she was like “so about the ‘i love you more than the moon/ocean’ thing, since we BOTH love BOTH of the moon AND the ocean, i think its only Fair if we update our love declarations to ‘i love you more than the mocean’ bc its mix of both but thats not a word, buT its pronounced exactly like ‘motion’. therefore we should both start saying ‘i love you more than the motion’”. so now we have both the wonderful, romantic, original version, and the NOT ROMANTIC AT ALL DO U HEAR ME C??? version :) and after this day she always started with the WORST!!!!!! version, and i always started with the Only Valid Version, but we’d still answer each other’s ofc because. well. thats love i gues?? it sorta goes like this though: her: i love you more than the motion / me: i hate u / me: i literally hate u so much / me: i Also love you more than the motion
but anyways she was coming to visit me but the plane ticket wasnt for my home country it was for where i was going to university at (a new university, i was starting over) and when i first got here on this campus, i didnt have a working phone number for this country, and i wouldnt be able to access the wifi for 3 days, so i had no way of talking to her. it was TERRIBLE and i missed her more than anything in my LIFE but when i got wifi (after CRYING to the people here bc theyre the most unorganized uni ever and i was already very overwhelmed and stressed) i immediately called her and she’d sent me over 100 text messages dkfjssjks it was amazing, there were two (2) videos of her singing (which is like. objectively the best thing in the world, and the song was rlly romantic and i love it sm when she showed it to me for the first time she said it made her think abt me), a poem, AND a HUGE text with “i love you” written like. a THOUSAND TIMES. seriously i have a gif of it opening and scrolling bc it was so long that the text wouldnt show up directly on the chat screen and u have to click on it to see the rest. i’d never felt more loved in my entire life by anyone ever. anyways so then it came the day for her to get here and i had to wake up at 5 am to go get her at the airport and the uber was like $40 but who CARES it was the best day of my LIFE and i got there 20 minutes earlier bUT GUESS WHAT SO DID SHE (hashtag just soulmate things) then we facetimed the entire time while she was walking through the airport and getting her luggage and then she hung up to walk to the door where i was and we hugged for like 5 minutes and we were totally in people’s way and also almost fell but it was the best thing in the world and i never should’ve let her go. but, we had to go home, so i did. and we spent 4 days together and im not gonna go into details bc this is already too long but u can always send me another ask about her visit if ur not a coward. also i bought her a hoodie from my uni and whenever she wears it i just. die. in short, those days were the happiest i’ve ever been. this campus res had never felt like home before that friday and it hasnt again since that monday, but i swear to god, during those 4 days, this was the only place i could possibly belong.
anyways then she left and i cried for the entire uber ride home and then i cried all day. lmao. also when she was here she gave me the poetry book, the magnet, and the bracelet. still wear the bracelet every single day and i love it more than anything. but then personal stuff happened and we kinda stopped being couple-y again and we’re just friends now but before new years i asked her if she still loved me and she said yes and she said she’d tell me if it changed so ✌️✌️ im assuming it hasnt. even tho my brain is a bitch and everyday its like. today. today is the day. this is when its gonna happen. buT yknow we’ve spent months before without even talking to each other and we got through that still in love, so i mostly ignore it. and tbh i know that actually like, even if we grow apart now (god forbid, but still) we’ll find our way back to each other eventually. like, i’ve said this before and i’ll say it again: nothing, not even the universe itself, can convince me that shes not my soulmate. and even if it turns out i’m not hers, loving her is still the greatest honor i can think of.
another edit: also i started drawing recently and the first person i’ve ever finished drawing was her and also (surprise surprise @c since you’re already seeing all my feelings anyway) bc of my second drawing i almost missed the deadline for one of my midterms (which was a take-home test) bc instead of writing it i spent the entire day before the deadline finishing the drawing which was a secret valentines day gift (secret as in she didnt know it was supposed to be a gift, she thought it was just a drawing inspired by a quote that she loves) and i finished at 2 am but shes 3 hours behind so for her it was still 11 pm which MEANS it was still valentines day so it still counts, i win, lesbian rights!

are you guys ready for a terrifying story because thats exactly what i felt this morning. worst 1 hour of my life. ok not the worst but still. sit back and feel the FEAR you felt as i did as you read this.
so anyways on friday i got my nails done for a photoshoot i was doing with some friends on saturday morning. and i got acrylics because im a nail biter and i wanted my nails to look nice. this was the second time in my life i have ever gotten fake nails. ITS HARD TO GET USED TO AND YOUR TACTILE AND MOTOR SKILLS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE. so anyways that happened friday and then saturday morning i had my photoshoot. my coworker texted me later on saturday if i wanted to go get drinks with her and a few other coworkers including my supervisor. and i went and we all had fun. we took some cute pics at the bar and i sent them to our common group chat.
i came home and was browsing twitter before i fell asleep and i saw that i had 666 followers and i took a picture because i wanted to celebrate that number…because…ya know. i get a text next morning (TODAY) from my supervisor asking if i could resend the pictures from last night to them because they didnt save them or something. so i do. i quickly select the pictures and MY FUCKING ACRYLIC NAILS BY MISTAKE CHOOSE THE SCREENSHOT I TOOK OF MY TWITTER. without realizing that, i send them the pictures. and then I NOTICE IT. after the pictures have been delivered. now the unfortunate thing about having an iphone is that once you send a message, there is no way of unsending that message. so i start to panic because if you guys have seen my twitter…my description says “she/her || phil’s bitch || dnp fan account” and there is a link to my tumblr on there as well.
i dont really get embarrassed about things…but this morning i felt 4 different things die inside of me. i send a text to my coworker to delete the twitter picture and tell them its a private inside joke that i have with some of my friends. AND THEY DONT RESPOND. so i start panicking even more and im brown but i can feel my face turn red and heat up. i start privating my twitter and i change my url so that if they do go on the philester tumblr it points to an empty page. to share my embarrassment i message a bunch of my friends as well as to distract me from the fact that my supervisor has not responded to me. anyways as im dying and about to cry i finally get a text message from my supervisor saying that they deleted the picture. i sigh of relief but…you can never be too cautious so my twitter is still on private and i changed my tumblr url for a week.
so yeah…im a huge dumbass and fuck acrylic nails! also the number...666...this was the devils doing
