9: What is your favorite dialogue you’ve written so far? for Atlas: Rebuilding.

Because I don't actually rate my dialogue that much in my own head and I really struggled with this one, I'm going to be a lil' shit here and give you a bit of dialogue that's only planned for... uh... [checks notes] four chapters from now. If it gets cut... sorry. xD "I'm... frustrated."

"Frustrated? Really?"

"Hmmm." "You don't have to keep reading if you don't like it."

"I do. I wanna see how it ends but..."

"But...?"

"But they went to find a sword master to teach them techniques so they can slay the dragons that come every full moon to attack their village. But they don't even say why the dragons are attacking. Or why they don't just move the village. It's tiny! They keep saying it's tiny! And then they both fell in love with the sword master's daughter, so now they're on the next island competing for her hand in marriage, even though she is in love with the local baker. They're not listening. And, Daddy, the dragons are still attacking their home this whole time!"

Funnily enough, I was just telling MJ last week (it feels like yesterday sob what is time) that I accidentally came across this song and it was Past Zuko Headspace so well it kicked my ass sky high over writer's block for the end of the chapter I was working on. Sliiight TW for allusions to alcohol use, drug use and borderline depression. If you know about Zuko in this fic, you'll understand. 20 Missed Calls by Braden Bales.

Actually concerning lately how many hostile comments I have seen about queer women in kpop circles on here and twitter that are kind of framed through the guise of statements you can't really argue with like 'idols are real people' and 'idols deserve privacy' but with a tone that just shows how much people hate queer women more than they care about idols being real people and their privacy. Like I will see people say things about female idols like 'Women attractor!!' And then when a queer woman actually says something about being attracted to them they'll log on like woah now idols are real people you shouldn't sexualize what if she sees that and gets uncomfortable by the possibility of a woman being attracted to her :( Or female idols will be on stage kissing each other on the mouth and if a queer woman says anything along the lines of how they're just like us people will be like woah now!! Chapter Five: Zuko contemplates his life and relationship with Katara just before a fun day out takes a turn for the grim. An unexpected confrontation with a person best forgotten forms a catalyst for the conversation that's been brewing between Katara and Zuko.

Chapter Six: Katara and Zuko talk. Finally.

I don’t think I will ever get over how the Batman Beyond Rebirth series treated/used Matt McGinnis during its run. Ever.

Cause one of the main reasons I dove into reading the rebirth series was to read about how Matt became Robin and what his time was like. And having read and finishing the entire run like a year ago it STILL upsets me how they set him up to be Robin, stressing that he is essential to Terry’s batman and to his success, only to rip it away ten issues later b/c “they didn’t want to bring in another child into the mission”.

Acting as if they hadn’t dragged Matt through the ordeal of being sidelined to helplessly watch losing his brother MULTIPLE times both before and after he was Robin. Like what was the whole point of that set up if they were just gonna rip it away?? Explain it to me, b/c I can’t find a damn reason.
