Do you have a list of your drafts/upcoming requests anywhere?
Why yes, I am trying to surreptitiously find out if my ask made it to your inbox without getting eaten 🤫
Fair Question! I don't think any have gone missing from my inbox as they have been wont to do in the past, but here is my current to do list in no particular order: (also please bear in mind that my pace for writing anything right now is absolutely glacial, some of these are over a year old and counting)
Maleficent x TouchStarved!Reader
Hades x DemonGoddess!Reader
Lord Shen x Reader (Henchwolves POV) - COMPLETE
An ask regarding Captain Gantu that I'm going to respectfully decline, becuase I don't know the character very well and I'm only writing for the characters in my pinned post right now.
Headless Horseman x a Reader who loves horror
Married life with Maleficent
Blitzwing realising he has no headaches around his S/O - COMPLETE
Maleficent x Dr. Facilier Headcannons
Honest John x S/O starting out headcannons <- Honest John isn't on my pinned post BUT the requestor did an amazing job with one of my asks on their blog (and I love their blog in general) so I'm just wanting to catch up on Pinnochio before giving this one a whirl!
An ask about how I started crushing on the Horned King/how I got into having him as an F/O - COMPLETE
Blitzwings Personalities x SplitPersonality!Reader
Zurg Kidnapping NOS4A2's S/O for family dinner
'Did you just bite me?!" Prompt for the DV'Cule
Hades x Transmasc!Reader with OCD - COMPLETE
Married Life with the Horned King Headcannons - COMPLETE
(NEW) TFA Shockwave or NOS4A2 headcannons for a friend
(NEW) Disney Villains x S/O with PTSD
(NEW) Pitch x Reader
No. of asks: 12 (some are split into multiple asks so I count those as one)
If you see an ask here that you know you've sent but I haven't answered please feel free to resend it!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Updated as of 10 Feb 2024, completed requests have been crossed off and new asks added, currently working on some of the Maleficent requests!

Just 3 siblings together, and Zaidoc realizing he isn't an only child anymore. But don't worry, he gets used to it very quickly and loves them both 💜
But I don't think anyone likes the thought of a screaming baby next to them either :v
And yes, enjoy my curse take of hybrid looking babies between Aurora and Zurg lol.
Zaidoc, Urania and Rasalas belong to both me and @sweetywreck

Zurg and a road to self-discovery
I feel like I want to try writing my first Buzz Lightyear fanfic
Zurg receives a message from his long neglected once mentioned girlfriend (along with a suitcase full of stuff he left at her place) saying they are through, and she's pretty sure he was always more into Warp so he should just make it official.
And Zurg is taken aback.
His grubz meekly ask if he wants to take revenge for the insult, but Zurg dismisses it.
"Oh, no, nevermind that. Her loss. I have... more important things to think about."
Amorativity and heteronormativity still dominate in a galactic melting pot, and for thousands of years he's been focused on his career and never questioned if he was not part of the norm
And Zurg's venting all this to Lightyear who is strapped to a bomb.
Some ideas for dialogue:
--
"Lightyear ...do I come off as gay?" "You often come off as bright and cheery in your villainous deeds, yes."
"Ye gods man! What year were you born in? Sometimes it feels like you're older than Nebula, or even me!"
[Lightyear comments that if perhaps Zurg found himself and love sooner he might not have become the twisted monster he is]
Zurg:"Why did I try opening up to a living after school special?"

And like--another thing--
Zurg never really had to be Buzz Lightyear’s dad for me. I always figured that line in Toy Story 2 was more about the fact that, when you’re a toy and you believe in your own (usually limited) Toy Lore rather than understand that you are in fact a toy, then you become your own unreliable narrator in a lot of ways because you’re stuck filling in gaps--the toys only seem to know as much as what’s on their box or what they see in commercials of themselves. I mean it’s still clear that even toys who don’t know they’re toys instinctively accept and embrace being with played with by a kid, so I figured the fight between The Other Buzz and Zurg was just... taking the belief in one’s own Not Real Toy Lore Narrative to its natural extreme, but it also falls into this natural instinct of ‘play’ and the ‘Father’ line is more like... falling into this “Yes, and?” improv instinct.
Like, “This is clearly our life or death climactic fight! What’s the most dramatic thing we could say!?” because as far as they’re concerned they’re both in this intense space opera, and then you have the ‘I am your father’ spoof and like... the thing about most Toy Lore, at least as it was in the 90′s, was it tended to be very limited to what could be made into a toy--like, look at He-Man’s gradually growing cast of characters with extremely wacky and specific abilities and you kind of get what I’m saying. Like as we got into the 2000′s, toy lore definitely got more involved (see: Bionicle), and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command as a product of its time, actually reflected that really well. It literally felt like the saturday morning sugary breakfast cereal cartoon Andy might watch and go, “Mom, can I get that toy??” While also... literally being an early 2000′s cartoon that had a lot of loving, fun-poking vibes towards sci fi action serials like Buck Rogers. And the fact that Buzz Lightyear of Star Command is a cartoon in the Toy Story universe was actually set up in the opening minutes of the movie by having all the toys gather around to watch the movie on video.
I don’t recall the father thing ever being a thing in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command--Buzz kind of had his own foil/dark reflection in the character Warp Darkmatter (his former partner who turned out to be a double agent for Zurg the whole time). Just... I don’t know, man. Lightyear was a movie that was so intent on tying itself up in callbacks while also shrugging off so much of the campiness, actual lore, and self-aware embracing of sci-fi genre tropes that you’re still stuck asking “Who is this for???”
Also I miss Zurg being a campy, snarky, megalomaniac bitch.
And also I still think a Woody movie should have come first.

Stranger (Short Lightyear One Shot)
Warning: Lightyear Spoilers along with themes of abuse, manipulation and slight Stockholm Syndrome
(Also Sox is a humanoid robot in this AU)
_________
“— But let’s be honest, Sox, this was all your fault.” Buzz said with a chuckle. At least Sox thought he was Buzz… he looked at the former Ranger but didn’t see Buzz. The man who was so hopeful and cared for others was gone and there stood… an imposter. A monster impersonating his friend. Impersonating Buzz.
“You stood there like a deer in headlights.” Buzz continued as he held Sox’s face still. Sox almost wanted to pull back but tried to relax as Buzz tried to fix any permanent internal damage. “You know how angry I can get.”
“I’m sorry.“ Sox replied immediately. Why was he apologizing…? This wasn’t an accident…
Buzz threatened him so many times. He said this would happen one day. And it happened. And Sox didn’t do anything…
Was it his fault…?
“I forgive you. I’d say sorry too but technically, I did nothing wrong. This…” Buzz held Sox’s face by his chin tightly, holding the destroyed half of his face up. “… was long overdue. You understand that, right?”
“Yes, sir…”
“Good.“ Buzz let go of Sox’s face and finished up repairing him. “I think I like this look, though.”
“What…?”
“I think I’ll keep it like this. As a reminder.”
Reminder…
“Of…?”
“Of who’s in charge, of course. And what will happen to you if you fall out of line.”
“But I wasn’t—“
“Shhhh…” Buzz said softly. Sox felt like emptying his insides. But he kept quiet, looking away.
“Sit up for me.”
Sox sat up, looking down as his own hands. After a moment of Buzz doing nothing, Sox watched as Buzz’s larger hand held his smaller ones.
“Look at me.”
He did.
Buzz wasn’t there. Sox looked him right in the eyes and Buzz just wasn’t there. This was a stranger. A much older and worn out stranger.
“And you can see clearly?”
“Kind of… but I can see just fine…”
“Good.”
Sox looked back down at his hands, silently praying that Buzz will leave him alone. That was shot down the second Buzz held his chin once again, only gentler this time, to make him look at him again.
“I love you.“ He said. “Y’know that, right?”
Sox stood silent. He just nodded.
“Say it back... please?” So desperate.
He didn’t want to. He REALLY didn’t want to…
He loved the Buzz he met over 100 years ago. He loved the man who cared for his friends and people. He loved the one that did all he could you make sure people were safe. He loved the one that promised to finish the mission that will get everyone home safely…
Sox loved Buzz.
“I love you.” Sox forced out.
Buzz gave him a satisfied smile. “Good robot.”
Sox couldn’t cry but he felt an overwhelming urge to sob. He let out a cry and held onto the only thing there. Buzz.
Buzz held him gently, one hand on the robot’s back and the other on his head. “There, there… everything will be okay… I’m here. And I’ll always be here.”
Buzz then gently pushed Sox away and lied him back down on the ‘operation’ table.
“Now, recharge. I’ll check on you later.”
Sox just stared up at the ceiling for a long moment before nodding. “Thank you.”
“Of course.”
He felt a soft kiss on his forehead before Buzz left he room, the heavy doors slamming shut.
Sox didn’t look at the outlet. He wanted his battery to die out so he’d spent at least some time away from Buzz’s tormenting.
Sox wanted to kick, to scream and cry, to break himself apart beyond repair. He wanted to run away. But where would he go? Home? He didn’t have one! Nor did he have a ship to leave on. He knew if he tried to steal one of the small ships, he’d get caught by the Zurg robots and Buzz will beat him almost beyond repair. Worst part is that Buzz would put him back together and let him suffer further.
Sox could try to float in the endless abyss of space and Buzz wouldn’t even let him have that.
He couldn’t leave…
He missed the old Buzz. His Buzz.
He felt exhausted…
His eyes flashed low battery symbols before he felt himself shut down completely.

(Love)Storytime: Part 1
Trying out something special and new. Since I have so many F/Os, I thought it would be a fun thing to tell about how exactly I met them and fell head over heels in love with them all. And today is a special day because, it’s actually the 6th anniversary of me realizing I was in love with one of them. That F/O being XL
Tumblr media
Let me set the scene.
I was seventeen years old, and I found out about XL on accident. I barely remember watching the Buzz Lightyear series as a kid, but the only other villain besides Zurg I remember seeing was Gravitina. I had no idea XL existed until I seventeen. Now, if you’ve played Skylanders, you know Pop Fizz, aka the best Skylander there ever was. So imagine my surprise when I was browsing on DeviantART one day and found a fan art drawing of Pop holding this red-headed little insane-looking something (I didn’t know he was supposed to be the head of a robot). I read the description and found out that Pop and XL shared a voice actor. I had to hear it for myself, so I looked him up on YouTube, and sure enough he had Pop’s voice.
XL was the reason I rediscovered BLOSC, and when I found out he was a villain, I knew I had to find out how his villain arc started and ended. The way it started broke my heart. He had a problem with his programming that made him act violent and was deactivated and put in storage for, presumably, years by the person he saw as his father, and he never got a second chance. He wanted revenge on his father for deactivating him and he wanted revenge on his brother for replacing him. XL wasn’t truly evil. Insane, yes, but not evil. He was just broken and only wanted the love and appreciation he never got. (Also, the parts he stole to make him look better and stronger made him look like a total badass, so I thought he looked cool when I first saw the rest of him).
Tumblr media
This face, this one right here. It’s not the face of a deranged monster. It’s the face of a broken-hearted person who only wanted love and acceptance. How could I resist it? How could I resist him?
And when I watched “Revenge of the Monsters”, when I saw him get his second chance to be a hero, I cried happy tears. He got his happy ending. And seeing him smile after getting reinstated in Star Command (although, I admit, he deserved a much higher position than a fax machine, but he looked happy either way), I remember telling him “I love you.” I didn’t have to realize I loved him at that moment, I already knew I did. Opal came along about two days later when it came to making a S/I for XL.
Tumblr media
He was the first villain character I ever had an actual crush on. I still love him to this day, even if I don't post about him a whole lot.
(Also, in case you're wondering. Sometimes I forget he and Pain share a voice, so it's not really weird in that sense.)

So, About Lightyear,
Right off the bat, I know a lot of people aren't going to like this movie. I don't think this is what anyone would've imagined from a Buzz Lightyear movie back when the first Toy Story came out. However, that's for good reason, and if we forget about Toy Story for a moment this really is a damn good film. In fact, the more I think about this movie the more I like it.
Basically, here we've got a good old fashion action-packed family film with an important message about accepting your mistakes. Sure it's not quite as action-packed as it could've been and Buzz feels a little different, but that's a minor nitpick.
Frankly, the movie some people wanted this to be was never going to actually happen. The Buzz we know from Toy Story wasn't written with the intention of being fleshed out beyond a toy. He was really just a stand-in Pixar used in place of a Luke Skywalker or Captain Kirk action figure (this is even more obvious with Emperor Zurg). In this way technically the most accurate movie would've been a good ol' fashion Star Wars ripoff, and that genre has been long since played out. I for one am glad they decided to favor modern sensibilities over being a slave Toy Story.
Additionally, the film is strictly an origin story, left open specifically so that we can imagine Buzz and Zurg becoming the people they are in Toy Story. In other news, there's no retcons that some creativity and an imaginary sequel can't fix. (Yes, even that retcon isn't all that major, Zurg has time travel after all)
But enough about continuity and retcons and whatnot. Like I said, let's forget about Toy Story for a moment and review this film strictly on it's own merits. Put simply, it's a good fun adventure movie with a compelling well-written narrative, believable complex characters, and interesting worldbuilding.
That's not to say this film is perfect though, of course. A lot of the comedy feels weirdly out of place, and the film does have a bit of a tone problem at times. Like, this is essentially an apocalyptic scenario, now is not the time for physical comedy or whatever the hell Taika Waititi's character had going on. Additionally, Buzz Lightyear's iconic jetpack sees so little use that in some scenes I wonder if the writers and/or characters legitimately forgot about it. Even if we say that this version of it is only designed for zero-gravity maneuvering as opposed to outright flying, there are still a good few scenes in particular that will leave you saying "bro just use the jetpack".
Also, minor nitpick, but I think end credits scenes have officially gone too far. You can't have an end credits scene, followed by a studio logo, followed by another final end credits scene. That's just ridiculous, essentially when only one of the scenes is actually necessary.
Ultimately, go ahead and watch this movie. It's plenty of fun with comedy, drama, action, and something for everyone. Just be sure to keep an open mind, and try to check your expectations at the door. Just because there's something for everyone doesn't mean everyone will love what they get.

zurg have you ever heard of hatsune miku?
Yes I have unfortunately. My henchmen loves her music. Hm this gives me an idea. Since she's so popular maybe I can modify her voice into a brainwashing machine. It's less conspicuous to my old Zurg ray and victims wouldn't even know they're being affected!

Lightyear (2022) Review
Tumblr media
There was a lack of, dare I say, buzz on this one. I’ll see myself out.
Plot: While spending years attempting to return home, marooned Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear encounters an army of ruthless robots commanded by Zurg who are attempting to steal his fuel source.
The Toy Story franchise is arguably one of the main staples of Pixar’s filmography, with a lot of the current generation having grown up on those films, and even the recent Toy Story 4 bringing new eyes to the series. So naturally Disney being Disney and business is business, the studio wanted to rake in more of that green dollar bill using a nostalgia heavy property. So a spin-off was inevitable, and it comes to us in the shape of Lightyear, which from the opening crawl of the movie is described as the movie Andy would have saw back in the 90′s and what would have inspired him to buy a Buzz toy. Seems fair, however....WAIT. Hang on. Andy in the original Toy Story film didn’t buy Buzz Lightyear. Heck, he didn’t even care about space or whatnot. He was given the Lightyear toy as a surprise birthday gift by him mum! AHA!! So have I just discovered a plot hole?? Why yes, I did. Though to be fair, having seen Lightyear it shares hardly anything in common with the Toy Story films, and even Buzz as a character is different to that of the Tim Allen version. Speaking of Allen, I’ve read an article where he states he doesn’t approve of this new version of the character. And neither does Tom Hanks. So, like, point made. Whatever the point is, I don’t know, I’m just trying to stir the pot. In any case, other references to the Toy Story films such as the origin of Zurg deviate from what was originally told, so even classing it as a spin off seems a stretch, minus maybe the use of the signature “to infinity and beyond” which you bet this movie hammers down on that line a heck of a lot.
However even as a stand-alone film Lightyear is uninspiring. As a science fiction movie, it gives us the most basic child-like concepts stolen from other Sci-Fi's such as Interstellar, and if you think too deeply into the overly unnecessarily convoluted plot it doesn’t make sense either. As a comedy movie, it’s more of a miss than hit, with the only solid jokes coming from the cat, and by the way speaking of cats, has anyone played Stray? It’s a new video game where you get to play as a cat! You can scratch carpets! Push bottles off roofs! You can MEOW too!! Look, if you haven’t heard of it, check it out - Stray. Anyway, enough with my random deviation for pointless advertisement, back to Lightyear. The comedy isn’t funny, and there is also one character here named Mo, who’s entire shtick was to make the stupidest of mistakes that would constantly sabotage the team, and its played for laughs however comes off as annoying. Funnily enough, this character is voiced by Taika Waititi, and no shade to the guy, but he’s now voiced two super annoying characters this year in this and Thor: Love & Thunder, just saying. The guy’s building a track record. That being said, I still love his movie Hunt for the Wilderpeople. So, like, I’m not totally biased.
Chris Evans voicing Buzz - he’s fine. Look, he does a fairly good imitation of Tim Allen, but again, one wonders why not just get Tim Allen back in the role. The movie as a whole though is pretty boring, and even though visually there are some absolutely stunning sequences, making you gasp in awe at how much computer animation has developed since the days of the original Toy Story, in the end this is a forgettable and pointless romp that didn’t really need to be made. But hey, Disney be Disney and business is business.
Overall score: 4/10

Dog. Robo dog. Robo doggy. Yes, I called it Zound cause if Zurg is calling his cyclop looking minions "Zyclops", then he's going to call a hound "Zound". ...I should really come up with a name for this AU. Ligtyear AU sounds boring...

okay actually brief lightyear review
oh no i forgot how to do read mores on mobile UHHHH
If that doesn’t work then caution spoilers for lightyear lol
Things I liked:
Lesbians. Good sell. A little ambitious for 1995 tho I will say I don’t think we were quite at Black Lesbian Tertiary Lead in 1995??? (I also like that she was an established lesbian to Buzz and we didn’t get a stupid line like “omg who is he?😍” “well… it’s a she🫣🤭” “whoaa…. well i am still ur friend no matter what #ally😌”)
Buzz blowing in IVAN’s cartridge port was a cute nod to this being a 1995 sci-fi movie. Also liked that IVAN had a female voice with a masculine name like I don’t think that was a #RepresentationWin for anyone in particular but it kinda stood out to me for some reason
Sox actually wasn’t annoying like I was so sure he was gonna be and actually in general the side characters were some of my favourite parts of the movie. I love a fucked up old guy and a Taika Waititi
It had a lot of very fun nods to Toy Story and the lines Buzz says in the first and second ones specifically. They felt really organic to the character and not shoehorned in just to be fan service which was nice
And stuff I didn’t like ummmmmm
Hi okay so like yes the whole “I’m your father” exchange between Buzz and Zurg in 2 is a Star Wars reference whatever fine but this is like a monsters university situation all over again where they were just like hmmmmm well we wanna cash in on a sequel and have a specific idea in mind soooooo actually that line didn’t mean anything🙈🙈 and it’s like shut the fuck UP why would The Real Zurg and The Real Buzz (both those toys believed they were the real thing don’t forget!) just randomly pull a Star Wars bit out of their asses that makes no SENSE!!! and then buzz and zurg playing catch at the end like YEAH it’s all just an extended Star Wars bit but it’s still CANON STUFF!! and Zurg didn’t even show UP until 2 SOOOO!!! u can’t even say like ohhh we were pulling more from 1 cuz he didn’t existttttttt that made me so mad isgksbsksbsj the disney adult is jumping OUT but I didn’t LIKE it
It kinda just ended like I dunno the ending was a little rushed
Really it was just the whole third act that sucked the rest was like anywhere from actively good to kinda basic kids stuff that was kinda obvious as a full adult (which is fine obviously it’s a kids movie lol)

I doodled Zurg's grill in the air some days ago to practice drawing it correctly in the right size and shape then used the ironed out practice to make this artwork on my chromebook on Chrome Canvas with my finger. I like how Zurg's helmet turned out! AND the neck collar! YES! Actually, I love how the neck collar turned out.

Task 30 -- SWYNRP Character Wishlist: A list of 10+ characters you’d like to see in the RP (for you to play or someone else!)
Patricia “Trixie” Schaal
So, here's the thing. This is a newer skeleton, yes, but also? The want I have for this character to exist is fully selfish and I already have such a strong plot idea here. Just the skeleton alone! Do I absolutely need a mysterious rival/friend to Hiro who he has interacted with online for so long and is absolutely probably a crush, actually showing up and busting him on his sneaky illegal online activities? Yes! Do I need this person to be someone with a crush on him from his online persona? Yes! Do they share the same 'i am so much cooler online' people anxiety? Absolutely! Could it potentially be even funnier if she's a uni student and Hiro had talked about his own college exploits with her, outing himself as lying about basically everything in his life now? Also yes.
Please someone bring me some weirdness and awkwardness because I truly need more tech characters around with Hiro and this one caught my eye the minute it was posted.
Ichabod Crane
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is, in fact, my favorite old horror story. I absolutely have devoted so much time learning about that story and the history to it and I love it very much. So I need, not want, need, some to pick up the character for three reasons; I have some very big plot ideas with Zero here, Ichabod is just absolutely amazing and making him a writer is such a good choice, and lastly…someone needs to pick him up so I won't. Because I shouldn't, but I want to, very badly, and I want very badly to see what the very creative people here would do with him. There can never be enough spooky characters; I stand by this.
Miriam Mendelsohn
Again, this is another potential tech kid I want to see for reasons. (if I can't have BH6 characters around I will steal connections with any tech character from any franchise, yes) But even beyond how much I love 'the living a life online, having to adapt to a real social life' vibe (obviously given Hiro), I also love the possibility for diversity! Miriam was easily my favorite character in Turning Red and I can fully see some room for gender diversity here!
James “Zurg” Zetterburg
I loved Lightyear, it's right up there with my favorites now and Zurg's skeleton just brings me such intense pain, in the best ways. I think he would be an excellent addition to the older demographic of town and I love a good sympathetic 'villain' story so I'm so wanting to see him around. Just the desperation of spending your life trying to find the one thing you think will fix everything but the world moved on without caring about what you were trying to do? It's especially poignant with an older character who feels their voice is going unheard. We get that dynamic with some of our teens because it's a very common teenage issue, but it's overlooked that that sort of dismissal can haunt people in any frame of life.  Honestly, I can see so much potential with this character and need to see it play out, so badly.
Declan Twaddell
This skeleton fascinates me and I love the take on this character! Although it's pretty open-ended as to what sort of Fae he is exactly, since we do have Changelings that are Seelie or Unseelie, the skeleton leans more to the Unseelie side and I'd like to see how that plays out. Or, what I would really like to see is something beyond our High Fey and a totally different sort of Unseelie. There are so many that could be referenced or adapted to the idea and the Fae are so broad; someone please pick up this outstandingly good skeleton before I do because my brain is already working out the possibilities. Help.
For real tho, this is my favorite recent skeleton and this character needs to exist! Someone! (Also Declan is a great name so there's also that.)
Sigh. I want this one so bad.
Reginald “Rex” Barnum
I very much feel this guy is just made to be buddies with Isaac. Their Magick and Mundus inclusive classrooms? The vibes with that are just too good. Rex is too good. Someone please bring me this adorable dragon and give Isaac a work buddy he can be a total nerd about how excited he is over his job. This is fully a pitch because I want more Swynlake Primary folks around, yes, so I can have more work friends for Isaac, but come on, really? Rex is great! We need more sunshine around town! Pls? Someone? Plus, he's a dragon!
Marin MacGill
Yet another someone get this character before I do because this concept is just so good. Mirror world? That just sounds like such a great idea and so much fun to play with. Genius. I love strange magic and this is one that strikes me as particularly unique; I would love to see it fleshed out! Also, as always, I love to see more gender diversity and I could see some real potential here to like the idea of mirror world to some of our existing lore relating to non-human Magicks. I could probably ramble on about this too long so I will leave it at someone really should get Martin, it feels like a travesty that they aren't around yet! (Yanno, before I do because I really don't need to be thinking about it.)
