i- i’m genuinely in shock rn!!! i only really became active and a writer on this account from late last year and i would have never even thought that i would reach this following - this is a huge milestone for me and i’m so grateful i could cry

thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, to anyone who has followed me, who has supported my work or interacted with me in anyway (anonymously or not). thank you to my mutuals and the wonderful friends i’ve made on here (you know who you are<3) i’m so grateful to connect with and to have befriended people who i can be unapologetically myself with and i just love you all

in honour of 1k i decided to do a little sleepover celebration with you all !!! this will probably span over the week so until next saturday maybe? i’ll update you guys! and so feel free to send in an ask for any of the things below!!

also oo give us some peter m headcanons! as many as you want!! i’m sure you have some you swear by!!

i’ll share my main one cause it’s my favorite which is going to record shops and just listening to music on records with him

- we know peter loves music so when he finds out you love it just as much it means it can be something special between the two of you

- i also feel records would be something wouldn’t steal because he wants to support his favorite bands

- going to music shops are like a weekly thing you go the day new release come out and check out everything new

- but a tradition is once a month you go pick out something you wouldn’t usually just to branch out and it’s fun

- now peter has a full plan when listening to a new record like he sets a mood (same i do it too)

- i think if he can choose between being in his moms basement and the mansion he’d go to his moms cause you have the chance to be a little louder and less people will bother you

- i like the idea that with slower albums you lay in bed with him and just relax (we can and will be holding hands)

- he’s also not someone to make fun of you for your music choices cause we all like different stuff but is open to listening to what you want even if he doesn’t like it

HONEY! i love this one ty!

(partly inspired by tfatws) bucky sleeps on the ground. he does this because at night in the soft bed he feels like he’s drowning. as his memories creep in and the nightmares claw at his brain he is drowning in a sea of pain and guilt and the soft expanses of his new mattress make that mental feeling a physical one that is too hard to bear

(also slightly inspired by tfatws but not really) bucky reads in his spare time. he uses books like many of us use fictional worlds and that is to escape. he gets lost in these characters and fictional worlds so he can think about their lives instead of his own ms become enthralled by their worlds and problems rather than the ones swirling in his head and invading his life constantly. sometimes he’ll even write little notes in pencil along the margines as a particular moment brings him comfort or when something stands out to him and it’s all he can think about

bucky doesn’t truly feel like he deserves someone - not even steve or sam. he believes he doesn’t deserve friendship or love because his soul is too tainted for the innocence and pure nature of a relationship, platonic or not, with others. he can never forgive himself for the things he did as the winter soldier and he doesn’t want someone else to have to become close to someone who isn’t deserving of kindness or a chance to move on, especially when he can directly see the effects of his past actions. of course his friends or lover would never agree with him but bucky’s closed off nature in terms of emotion stems from such beliefs

bucky bakes. when he’s home and he’s exhausted his capacity for reading and can’t stand the thoughts in his head, he bakes. he’s mainly a savoury baker - bread, different pastries, cheese straws etc. but time to time he’ll bake a batch of cookies or brownies and think of times shared with friends - when his mother would bake and the family would eat together, when he’s run a sweet treat to steve’s place and sit on the steps eating together, or when he’s sweeten up his chosen girl of the month with a cake so soft and sweet that she was a giggly mess for the charming soon to be soldier - he’d never really eat these things maybe have one on his kitchen floor as he becomes choked up, tears threatening to fall past his lashes as he reminisces on happier, freeing times

bucky adopts alpine because having something to care for and having something as pure and as innocent as an animal care for him, well that makes him feel that maybe, just maybe, there is some good left in him after all. when alpine brushes against his leg for a stroke of their head, or trails him around the apartment vying for attention or even sleeps curled up right next to bucky’s head every night, whenever alpine shows true interest and care for bucky he feels a deep sense of warmth fill his chest over the fact that this innocent, sweet animal sees bucky as a companion and a carer not some murderous super soldier - and that provides him with enough comfort to hush the voices for at least a moment or two

double sided recipe card by @vanillann is genuinely one of my favourite fics ive ever read for any character!!! it’s just amazing and is so bloody sweet!! she captures character wonderfully and it’s a huge comfort fic of mine

ahhh this is such a fun one!! a month s go i wouldve said pietro as it had been ages since i’d seen xmen BUT now i think it goes to maxibaby !

i just have this pull towards peter that i can’t explain and as much as i love pietro i just feel like peter has this charm and this warmth about him that, although pietro also has, marries well with his other qualities and when piecing all of his characteristics together, looking at his vulnerability and his feeling of not truly belonging and how he copes with such a thing (through humour etc.) i truly just feel so drawn towards him

i think when looking at who i’d want to spend my life with i think peter just feels like someone who’d i’d mesh with well and life would never dull !!
