Also back to his perfectionism- I wonder if he’d have OCD??? What a wild idea because like that would take the idea of perfectionism to the next level. Cannot Continue what he was doing if he feels even something itty bitty is out of place but then has a sigh of relief when he fixes it then continues like he didn’t look like the world was ending just .5 seconds ago.

(Am I saying this because it also makes sense to me who has OCD? Maybe don’t perceive me-)

His idea of a good time probably has to do with discussing the intricacies of quantum physics or something like that but others are just sitting there like “please speak (insert language here) OTL”.

On one hand, I think he’d have the best time with a person who is also very smart because he’d finally have someone to bounce his ideas off of and someone to discuss at length the things he can’t talk about with others because getting them to understand would take forever.

But on the other hand I can see him being like “you’re dumb I like that in a person-“/j

(But that one is leaning a lil more towards what I’d imagine him like as a yandere but that’s neither here nor there- Just thinks you’re just such a sweet little dumb thing. <333)

ANYWAYS MOVING PAST THAT AND NOT LOOKING BACK AT IT-

As frustrated as he can get with people just Not Getting It and not being as smart as he is, he also enjoys being Mr. Smarty Pants. (Also yes if you called him that he just goes, “But of course I’m smart- I’m glad you noticed.” With the smuggest look on his face because what are you gonna say to that-)

And once he’s started having feelings for a person, he’s just like “I love them too much to really be upset or frustrated” when he has to slowly explain his more complicated thoughts to them.

Widnksjxjs I can see him sitting with you in his lap, gently explaining something in the book in front of you (watch it be a math book or something he is Dr. Ratio after all-) while holding one of your hands and his free hand pointing to what he’s talking about in the book.

Probably during a library date.

Just speaking in low tones so as to not disturb the quiet but as a result is nearly whispering in your ear while affectionately rubbing his thumb over the hand he’s holding. Waow just imagining him being soft and affectionate while doing something he loves with the person he loves is sjxndjjx-

Of course, he hadn’t expected you’d be able to trace them back to him, but your intelligence is something he adores you for

Confronting him about it will get him to stop; he’s gathered all the data he wanted from this little endeavour. But he’ll definitely be replacing this experiment with a new one to gather even more data on you

Immediately admits to it and is apologising profusely before you even finish your accusations

He’d managed to justify his actions to himself throughout the whole ordeal, insisting that he was just protecting you

He needed to walk you home every night, even if you weren’t aware he was there for most of them, just to make sure you got home safely. He needed to threaten those people to stay away from you, they were just going to use and hurt you

But when you confront him yourself, he can’t keep lying to himself about his actions being harmless to you. They caused you stress and paranoia, and it’s all his fault

In the end, his sincere and heartfelt apology will most likely convince you to forgive him and to propose that you put this situation behind you, which he is more than thankful for

Although, you can help but feel that his apology may have been a little less sincere than you’d originally thought…

Besides, no matter if he admits to it or not, there’s nothing you can do about it. He’s a harbinger, nobody is going to voluntarily interfere, especially not against him

So he’s much rather keep this entertaining game of cat and mouse going by denying every accusation you throw at him, all with that cheeky little grin spread across his face

Absolutely refuses to admit it, if only because he’s embarrassed but he’d also refuse to admit to that

You really think that him of all people is so interested in you that he’d go out of his way to personally find out everything about you and follow you around? How narcissistic can you be?

Eventually it ends when Scara asks what you’d even be able to do about it. He’s still not admitting guilt, but also lording his status and power over you now. So you drop the topic and leave by asking him to stop

Will he though? Absolutely not. You’ve wounded his pride so much by showing how badly he hid that now he’s going to openly do all the things you’ve accused him of just to remind you who holds the power in this situation

Unlike Childe though, Ayato is extremely convincing in this situation. He has you doubting all your evidence the moment he starts to respond

Of course it wasn’t him. He barely has any time to rest, how could he be following you around every second of the day. He’s a reputable and kindhearted man, he’d never dream of doing anything like that. He doesn’t even need to refute more than one of your claims before you’re the one apologising to him

But he’s so kind, and he understands that you’re clearly shaken by these incidents. Ayato is more than happy to allow you to stay in his estate until you feel safer. He’ll even stay by your side when you want to go out to help ease your worry

BUTTTTT with that out of the way!!!!! let’s talk about my absolute favorite part of the chapter (and why it’s one of my favorites in shinjuku)….. which is ofc. the talk between miguel and larue. i absolutely unabashedly ADORE geto’s family and i’ve been waiting to see them again for so long!!! to learn more about them, their feelings towards geto, their feelings after his passing…… and i finally got it. and it was just…. so, so good. wow.

like …. this page almost made me cry. genuinely. i adore larue so much and it was so nice to see him again….. he’s definitely my favorite member of geto’s family (excluding geto himself ofc) and clearly the most heartfelt!!! there’s the scene in shibuya where he stops the rest of the family from harming each other because he knows that’s the last thing geto would want, he calls everyone by their first name…. it just feels like he understood geto the most. understood that what geto cared about above all else was his family, not his own plan (hot take maybe?? but i’ll die on that hill).

and goshhhh…… ”we all loved suguru-chan” :((( you don’t UNDERSTAND how emotional i feel rn. i mean we basically already knew this but it just feels so nice to get confirmation on how loved geto was!!! not just by a couple members of his family, but by all of them!!!! i think it’s so telling that even miguel, who acts a bit colder than someone like larue, was willing to help geto and grew to love him. geto is just such a sincere character at his core and i think that’s how he won them all over. but aaaa i’m just :((((( they loved him!!!!! and he loved them just as much!!!!!! i’ve said this before but i NEED a slice of life spinoff manga only featuring geto and his family.,, they mean so much to me.

and i haven’t even MENTIONED larue’s speech????????????? how lovely it is?????? how sick it is????????????? his version of mourning makes me so unbelievably emotional :(((( geto would be so fucking proud of them i can picture him looking up at them from the fiery pits just CHEERING as they punch sukuna…… sniffle sniffle. he loves them!!! and they love him!!!!!!

also obviously i NEED to mention this bc it broke me. i’ve seen people making jokes about what miguel says AND I GET THAT bc i too love joking about how geto is definitely in hell but. this line is very tragic to me!!! or maybe not tragic but it’s definitely somber. i don’t think it’s meant to be humorous, it’s there as a grim reminder of the things geto and his family did…. they loved each other but they were villains. there’s no denying that. larue is obviously a bit of a romanticist but miguel is enough of a realist to call him out on it, and i think that gets his personality across so well. because he still ends up agreeing to join larue in the fight!! those words got to him!!!! seeing his expression crumble in this page made my heart ache :((((… they were villains but they loved each other so earnestly. and i just adore them so so much!!!

🪐 hello! i am back from oppenheimer. prepare for spoilers.

every time he had an anxiety attack or envisioned the A-bomb,, i had one too. hhhh i wanted to clap my hands over my ears, shut my eyes, and run out of the theater screaming.

there was also the nudity?? like the writers were like, "yes. oppenheimer was a womanizer. but this is a historical movie. um. how about we put the "porn without plot" trope?" coulda showed it another way. the nudity scenes were so so awkward. i don't mind nudity in movies; don't get me wrongfjdjdj just . if it's awkwardly done,,, it's such a turn-off for me aaaa

plot-wise,,, it is so sad?? and kinda confusing?? i get he had a rough life with the whole deposition. but ?????? maybe i just see it that way bc i was expecting something like dunkirk or darkest hour. not . *waves hands towards oppenheimer* (imitation game was kinda the same deal; the fact it was moreso about the person rather than the history of how the enigma code was broken and the device used to crack it,,,,,,, bit of a letdown. my mistake for raising the bar for my hopes and expectations for both movies too high.)

lots of cool actors that appeared either briefly or not. uh gary oldman played harry truman (recognized him from darkest hour). florence pugh!! cillian murphy, ofc. OMG! RAMI MALEK AND ROBERT DOWNEY JR. had to do a double take when i realized he played strauss lmao matt damon, emily blunt, tony goldwyn, kenneth branagh, christopher denham, gregory jbara, jason clark, james d'arcy, jack quaid, dane dehaan!!!!! oh! and tim dekay from i think??? white collar? lmao i got whiplash seeing so many people from things like argo, white collar, blue bloods, dunkirk, scandal, hawkeye and black widow (florence pugh), peaky blinders, devil wears prada and a quiet place (emilyblunt), bourne movies and interstellar (matt damon), zero dark thirty. it was wild!!

LASTLY,,,,, contrary to all my criticism, a piece of me did enjoy oppenheimer. from a history buff's pov aka. mine,, it was hella interesting learning the history and science and politics surrounding the bomb making process. also emily blunt's performance was the cherry on top! holy shit! my favorite scene is where it is her character's turn to be interviewed and kitty keeps turning the prosecutor's questions right back at him. the way she took no shit! get me a woman like kitty oppenheimer!! also it was so so cool how they did the scenes for strauss in black and white but the scenes with oppenheimer in color. really liked that! music score was kinda?? good?? probs?? would only listen to one or two tracks tho.

anyway. would i go see oppenheimer again? not really. no. what would i rate it? hm........... 6?? out of 10 stars. i take two off for the confusing way they did the plot and two more off for the nudity. if you're not a history buff like me and will enjoy oppenheimer solely as a movie,,,, then maybe? you'll like it. if ur a history buff like me,,, probably?? not then? go give it a try, anyway, tho, if u can!

Also fun fact, I used in-game Eyris to change my nickname because previously I was known as [redacted], which was pretty weeb-y. And I have some really bad associations with that group, sadly... so I used her to rebrand. And tbh... I never felt more comfortable in a "new skin" than I do now.

Next! I absolutely fucking love AUs. The drama but make it in a different setting. The drama but this character is somebody completely different. I mean, whatever you can think of - I have it!! Mostly I subject Airell to this hell. My fictional child must hate me, lol.

Speaking of fictional children (am I the only one to whom this sounds wrong?), I think I will somehow get my [redacted] Risha into some different setting so I can have more fun with him. Develop him some more. For now I am rotating him around like a frog on a vinyl. I want to talk about him but all the people who know his source universe (this is how badly i dont want that community to think im cringe so i dont mention the name hhhh) already know everything about him and I am not going to spam them with the same shit over and over, right.

I mean i already do that with Airell with some people and that must be annoying.

MOVING ON, I am expecting my bow to arrive SOON. like... idk. Between 13-18 July. Or so the store told me. Im so excited. Life is good. It’s been a rough day. As I said I think I had vertigo and I had to head out for a bit to get new stuff for cat and get my hair cleaned up a bit. Still a bit busy but I’m ok. I saw somebody mention the Slimecicle Cinematic Universe in an ask a couple days ago and I’m just so personally upset at how relatively niche the Schlatt/Slimecicle ship is and how annoyingly ooc a lot of the existing content is when their dynamic in the videos is so fascinating! I mean, Charlie spends most of the natural disasters video going along with Schlatt’s torment of them, then at the end just casually strips Schlatt of his powers! Schlatt ascends from the volcano and decides the best way to take his anger out on Charlie is a fistfight in the dirt! And that’s not even talking about the 100 days video, where Schlatt’s whole goal was to tempt or frighten Charlie into eating a golden apple - was I really the only person who came away from that video wanting a fic of Charlie getting railed by a character implied to be God, the devil, or both? grumble grumble grumble

I’ve never actually written smut before, but these two have come the closest in making me want to try my hand, because holy hell is there just a lot of potential and very little content.

I’ve been tearing through your dsmp fics lately and your Schlatt characterisation is living rent-free in my head, what a delightfully fucked-up arsehole. ngl i found the natural disasters vid borderline-unwatchable bc of the absolutely chaotic editing, BUT... that hundred days episode......... that was a fucking cinematic masterpiece and i might be a little bit in love.

for sure there is a weird like. schlatt as a cruel god-figure and charlie as a worshipper only reluctantly / as someone who refuses to worship him, and that interacts just so well with my general love of weird religious bullshit. charlie who's lived a hundred different lives, and been tormented by this strange man who never says he's a god but is clearly a god (seems to have resolved to make charlie's life a living hell) in all of them. damn. i would actually love to see some weird "devil went down to georgia" bullshit with those two in a fic. hhhh.

but aaaa thank you so much!! glad you like them. schlatt is my favourite lil blorbo. he's so insane and fucked up and mentall yunwell and abusive and i love him <3

It was painful!!!! My coworker actually winced with me when my work senior grabbed the hood in one hand, my hair in the other and YANKED them apart hhhh I almost cried it hurt so bad 🥺 but I can't complain about how she helped me, seeing as she already went out of her way to free me. I'm gonna get rid of that raincoat, every time I use it, I get hurt🥺 Luckily and fortunately, my hair DID NOT BREAK OR BECOME DAMAGED from getting stuck in velcro or being yanked like that!!!!!! That's what I'm happy about😍 we all know I was panicking about it so I'll take a bit of pain to ensure my baby is safe 🥺🥺🥺🥺
