According to what evidence I've been able to gather, she is absolutely horrible. Let's look at the evidence.

In these images, you'll see a side by side comparison of AH and other DV victims.

After being beat by Johnny, she came out with naught but a small "bruise" under her eye, while real victims came out looking much worse from less. The photos of her and Johnny together are no makeup shoots, meaning that after being dragged on glass, being beat for around 7 minutes, and apparently sustaining a multitude of injuries, she looked fine, acted fine, and was fine.

In these images, you'll see;

- Amber admitting to being absuive

- Amber being a drug addict

- Getting arrested for hitting her girlfriend of the time

- Not keeping her story of how Johnny's finger tip was severed straight 3 times in a row

- Smirking while Johnny recounted his detox experience

- Admitting to falsifying documents and not giving the money, 7 million dollars, to the charity she promised it to

- Quoting movies when she was describing Johnny Depp

In these images, you'll see Amber Heard's arm bruise, which shows her face and neck, which as no bruises, even though those parts of her body were also allegedly bruised from abuse, and an image of her with no bruises only a day after her alleged abuse, with evidence that Johnny may have been bruised at that event as well at the Met Gala of 2014.

In this image, you see some of her coworkers talking about how she never pulled punches on them in scenes, despite the fact that she did for her female coworkers.

you two would probably encounter each other while he’s working at family video. you walk in, looking for a new thing to watch… scanning through the aisles, and suddenly- there he is, standing right in front of you, commenting about how a pretty lady like yourself must be having trouble finding the man of- VIDEO… of their dreams.

you would laugh at the ridiculousness of the whole thing, but you’re into the flirting. you’d reply wittily, and he would probably be taken aback, keeping into consideration his lack of luck with the girls lately. by the time you leave and had purchased your video, steve would turn to robin with a face of… told you so.

it becomes a routine for you to visit the shop, flirt with the cute guy who keeps coming up to you who you soon learned was called steve, and then leave and wait for the next day. one of these days though, you actually broke the routine, walking in with a bouquet of flowers for the worker and asking him out to dinner. of course he said yes, eagerly at that.

your first date was actually quite a disaster. not like you would complain, but he was definitely rusty. at the end of the night, you left him with a kiss to the cheek, and a walk back to the car he planned to drop you off in. the rest of the trip he rambled about how soft your lips were, and he’s probably not gonna wash his face for years to come.

Madelyn watched her entire world fall apart when she was 14. The life she had was just gone. One summer she came home to the beautiful villa in France to find strangers packing away her belongings as her mother sobbed in the foyer. Her father stood, a stone of a man, looking uncomfortably past the heap of his wife on the marble. Madelyn and her sisters clutched their hands together, each one too afraid to ask what happened, but as the oldest she chose to be the bravest and do it.

Their fortune had been lost. Her parents both different kind of addicts and both hiding it from the other managed to squander away a fortune that could have kept generations of their family alive.

School, thankfully, was taken care of. Her sisters continued to attend Beauxbatons. But Madelyn could not. Despite moving to a tragic little flat, there was never actually enough money. Because her parents barely managed to work. Which meant she had to. It was miserable. During the school year she watched her parents drown themselves however they could while she worked herself to the bone. Any odd job she could find would do. The older she got the uglier the jobs got. By 19 she'd forgotten what it was to feel at home in her body. Her sisters never saw any of that though. When they were home she was all smiles. Making any time where she could for them. Shielding them as much as she could from their parents self destruction.

It was a relief when they finally died. Her sisters were away at school which meant Madelyn could deal with it without their upset. By the time she sent a letter it was telling them to come home before the funeral. They cried, she comforted them, but not once did she shed a tear.

By accident, or maybe fate, she met Louis. He worked high up in the Ministry in France and hired her for an evening. The first part of the evening was to accompany him to a fancy gala, she was to put on a show, be the picture perfect girlfriend. Neither of them expected to actually have such a good time together. They flowed with such ease that when it came to him taking her back to his hotel...they only talked. Shared everything until the sun came up. He paid her for that night, but after that they came to a real arrangement. She'd been entirely honest with him. That she couldn't love him, that she didn't think she could really love anyone anymore, but she would do anything in the world for her sisters to have a good life. To never have to know hunger or misery again. He, in turn, told her that he was happier alone. But everyone around him looked down on him. He'd missed out on a promotion because people saw him as an unsociable hermit. The evening they spent together was the first time he'd felt at ease around his peers.

The arrangement came easy. As time passed they became best friends. They were married and they day was beautiful. Her sisters were given the chance to do whatever they wanted with their lives. Discretely, Madelyn enjoyed her affairs. Appearing where her husband needed her to be, always smiling and laughing. She even had a child with him as it was part of appearances. Luckily for them it only took one time to conceive, they both laughed the whole way through and probably wouldn't have managed another round. Their daughter was told about it all, made to understand early on so that she wouldn't find out about it all later and find herself hurt and confused about the fact that her parents weren't in love.

Madelyn still has nightmares though. Still wakes up frozen to the bone with the ache of hunger in her stomach. This life she fought for hasn't erased her darkest memories no matter how she tries. Which was why she was glad when her husband announced his promotion and that he was to be relocated to the Ministry in London. With their daughter now in university and living her own life, Madelyn felt that it was finally time to leave France behind.

9) best month for you this (last) year ?

SEBTEMBER !!! What other month could I possibly choose ? Absolute fuckin highlight. Tom and I really did just get into a strangers car and drive interstate with someone we'd only met in person 2secs beforehand huh. Best decision ever 🥰🥰🥰 I could make a single post about Sebtember but (in this exact order definitely) the best parts were meeting Gimg, meeting Seb, CAIN'S TRIPS !!! RA concert and uhhhhh hmmmm everything else is tied. Best month of my life really.

10) something that made you cry

There was that one scene in Parks and Rec where April wrote something really nice about Leslie I think ? I was a bit tired but it was just such a nice scene 😭😭😭 (i don't mean this to sound edgy but it was only a coupla tears but still. As someone who doesn't really cry in general that's a lot)

13) how was your birthday this (last) year?

Fuckin AMAZING ! Probably the best bday ever. Started with a 4am wake up to drive to uhhhhh idfk where i forgot tbh but drove for an hour or so to watch the sunrise which was very cool. Then went to the nearby waffle house which i hadn't had in YEARS so that was a massive vibe. I forgot what we did after that but I do remember going back to your (seb's) apartment and being like "oh what's this what's happening" and i was like "huh weird he's saying that" and then noticing the banners and the fUCKING COOKIE CAKE <3 best kinda cake tbh. Rest of the day was a vibe and so fuckin fun.

19) what're you excited for next (this) year ?

not much tbh. don't think there's Anything exciting happening next year. nope.

Nah but i'm seeing fuckin MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE LIVE in March, got tickets to Sydney Comedy Festival Gala at the Sydney Opera House in April and then in MAY Seb comes to visit Australia !!! Sebmay/BBmAy will be 3 weeks of absolute vibez and getting Seb addicted to HSP so he'll never wanna go back to the US >:)

25) Did you create any characters (in games, art, or writing) this (last) year? Describe one

Well I always come up with lil characters in my head all the time but I did come up with one that I haven't actually talked about in a while but i am nonetheless really fond of them.

He was created for a fic and meant to be kind of a personification of a younger generation. Sorta kinda. And ofc his own character. Now that i'm thinking about it, he's kinda like Naruto with green eyes. Spiky blond hair and shit. Personality wise probably not a troublemaker in the same sense. Naruto was more juvenile which makes sense considering in part 1 he's 12 and my character is like...17. Did not expect this to be a comparison to Naruto but fuckin trust me to do that.

Absent its marquee Grammy event, MusiCares turns to BTS for fundraising sizzle

For the first time since 1991, the Recording Academy’s affiliated charity MusiCares will not honor a person of the year nor throw its annual gala event in the run-up to the Grammys. That’s no huge surprise; COVID-19 threw pop music’s awards season into chaos, right along with the live music industry.

While the Grammys’ main telecast will soldier on Sunday, with a hybrid of live and pretaped performances from stars including Taylor Swift, Megan Thee Stallion and Harry Styles, what’s normally the biggest weekend of the year for one of the industry’s bedrock charities is instead a humbling reminder of the damage COVID-19 wreaked across the music business.

“We know from our clients how bad the need has gotten,” said Laura Segura, executive director of MusiCares. “Work is not coming back soon, and people are still at home. In our surveys, 51% [of industry pros] said they had low confidence that they could even afford basic living expenses; 26% are experiencing moderate to severe depression. We’ve never seen anything like the size and scope of this need.”

A streaming-only concert event, Music on a Mission, will fill in some of that gap with performances from K-pop megagroup BTS, John Legend, Haim, H.E.R., Jhené Aiko and others on Friday. But it’s yet another reminder of the toll the virus has taken on an exhausted industry.

“As the COVID-19 situation worsened, our plans were disrupted, including tours,” wrote BTS’ j-hope via email. “Things that were so natural and normal before became impossible. This period was a strong reminder of the importance of the things that I enjoyed as a musician.”

The Person of the Year gala is typically a ritzy industry-insider night at the L.A. Convention Center, where legacy acts like Aerosmith, Dolly Parton and Fleetwood Mac are feted by an all-star lineup of musicians. It raises millions for MusiCares’ effort in healthcare, financial assistance, addiction counseling and other needs.

Typically, the $2,000- to $8,000-per-ticket concert brings in close to $7 million, far and away MusiCares’ biggest night for fundraising and a marquee event for spotlighting its work to the broader music business. Losing it is a blow to both morale and to MusiCares’ purse.

But given the gulf of desperation that’s opened up as the concert industry took a $9 billion hit over 2020 (and more pain still to come as venues remain shuttered and tours grounded well into summer) and with L.A. County’s continued block on large indoor gatherings, Segura and her colleagues knew that a black-tie event wasn’t possible.

The obvious abyss of need for MusiCares’ services has supercharged the organization’s fundraising — now at around $24 million over the last year. But COVID-19 also sent those funds immediately out the door to 25,000 recipients of services, like MusiCares’ Emergency Financial Assistance program for direct grants, psychotherapy, HIV/AIDS treatment and other programs. Its Wellness in Music survey, released in February, estimated that 62% of respondents had moderate to severe financial stress and that more than half could not afford any therapy or counseling services.

“It’s been more difficult because the whole industry’s having such a hard time, but people know that the need is so great,” Segura said. “If anyone had the means to help, they did.”

Music on a Mission will likely raise only a third of the money taken from a typical Person of the Year gala. But it will also be more accessible to music fans who can now watch BTS and more perform on a $25-a-ticket livestream.

“It was not a hard ask,” Segura said, of getting high-profile performers to beam in for it. “These artists all have crew, who have families and people who are not in the spotlight but are suffering. Artists understand that.”

BTS, one of the world’s biggest touring acts, tried to grapple with the loneliness and anxiety of COVID-19 on its album “Be.” The band’s involvement with MusiCares is an extension of that same work, said the group’s RM.

“As a member of the Recording Academy, we were well aware that MusiCares is helping the recovery of the music community impacted by COVID-19,” he said. “We wanted to help those who try to adjust to the new normal, whether it be creating music or finding new ways to set up performances like virtual concerts, as MusiCares helps smooth that transition period.”

Segura took the MusiCares job in June 2020, after the acrimonious departure of the Recording Academy’s former chief executive, Deborah Dugan, and a now-settled 2019 wrongful termination lawsuit from MusiCares’ former vice president, Dana Tomarken, alleging harassment and misappropriated funds. (The academy’s former chair, Neil Portnow, denied all wrongdoing at the time.) Segura had previously served as vice president of membership and industry relations for the Recording Academy.

When asked about any impact of those negative headlines on MusiCares’ work, she said that “while the Recording Academy is a crucial partner, and we work really closely together on a variety of projects, we are independent companies. We have still been able to help without missing a beat.”

The vast need for MusiCares’ services will continue long after the pandemic subsides and live events are able to resume. Many artists, venue staff and touring professionals will have been without income for a year at least and will be slow to recover in a forever-changed landscape for live music. The Grammys will go on Sunday, but the recovery effort will be needed for months, and maybe years, to come.

“Without live shows, the relief priorities are physical and mental health, and we’ll maintain and expand that for as many months as it takes,” said Segura. “Once that magical day comes when we can have live music back, we’ll reassess. But we shape the organization to serve clients’ needs, and we’re committed to the long haul.”

Y/N woke up the next day feeling like she could take on the world, energized, with a new crush, and full of life, a stark shift from how she usually was. She was never normally a morning person and had a severe addiction to caffeine. I mean, the addiction was still there and she still needed coffee before she could go to her 3pm class and meet up with Jason again, but she was happy. She would put on her clothes and pack her bag before even getting coffee.

“G’morning, A/N!”

“Who are you and what did you do with my best friend?” A/N joked.

“Down girl, I’m just peppy today, it’ll probably wear down and it’s probably a once-in-a-blue-moon deal,” Y/N said as she started brewing her coffee.

“You got a date with Jason today?”

“I do!”

“That explains it,” A/N joked again.

“Says the one with a boyfriend,” she shot back.

“He’s not my boyfriend, we’re just hooking up right now, trust me, if he was, you’d know, darlin’.”

“So what did dreamboat ask last night?” A/N asked.

“Well I said ‘What do you want to know?’ and he said ‘We’ll talk about it today, maybe during notes or maybe during our lunch date, we’ll see how i’m feeling.’ so I think that’s good?”

“You kidding? You got that man wrapped around your finger, respect.”

“Shut up.”

“No thanks, I have free speech y’know.”

“Yeah you can say whatever, but I can also use my free speech rights to tell you to shove it, so, checkmate,” you sneered at her.

“That’s fair,” A/N paused and then changed the subject, “Have you heard Brutal yet?” she asked.

“You’re damn right I have, I wonder where that was for me at 17. But to be fair, I would still blast it now at my parents just to make them irk.”

“They would kill you for listening to that song instead of their Christian Rock.”

“Worth it, I’ll die swinging and singing.” Y/N mused.

“It really is Brutal out here.”

She walked up to her 3pm class, to be greeted by Jason at the door, with of course, her new knowledge of the tabloids and their minions, she questioned why he’d do this.

“Hey, Y/N.”

“’Afternoon, Jason.”

“I’m trying to give the tabloids a show, don’t mind me.” he mused.

“I’m not surprised, but class is in 5.”

“Then I guess we should sit down and get ready to write at lightning speeds.”

She went to sit down, followed close by Jason. She couldn’t help but notice everyone was staring, but she didn’t care. This is going to be fun, she thought, I’m glad they’re gonna get a fucking kick out of this, she finished her thought.

Class went on as usual, with her scribbling down the notes so quick her arms hurt by the end of it, and Jason just sitting around making sure she wasn’t losing her arms to the writing, and casually laughing at the Professor. Then, the Professor brought up Barry Allen. Dr. Barry Allen and what he does for the criminal psychology people. 

“Forensics go hand-in-hand with criminal psych, normally we can tell, as scholars, from the hitting of the weapon why and who might’ve done it.” The Professor said.

 She saw Jason tense up a bit, and whispered over to him;

“You know Dr. Barry Allen don’t you?”

“He’s my uncle,” he whispered back.

“Well, be sure to tell him I’ve read some of his essays when I wanted to go into forensics instead of criminal psychology.”

“Really? He has essays?”

“Many. Very good writing. 10/10.”

“You’re going to make his week if you keep talking like this.” he mused.

“Good.” you mocked.

“So, you’re intermixed with a renowned journalist, a legend in forensic testing and you’re the son of Bruce Wayne?” she asked Jason, she couldn’t believe the words coming out of her mouth, but there they were, all cards on the table.

“Yeah, I know this is all new to you but famous people tend to know other famous people.” he joked with her.

“Well that’s fair, I guess I kind of know Clark, I met him once at a office party with my mum.”

“He’d probably remember you.”

“Enough of your family ties, huh? You said you wanted to know more about me?”

“Yes, that, did you tell your roommate to pick up your car?” he asked her.

“I did, why was I meant to do that, by the way?” she asked him.

“Because, we, you and I, Y/N, are going to go for a joyride on my motorbike and try to get away from these,” he lowered his voice, “bitch ass cameras,” he grabbed her hand and started running towards his bike, dodging all the paparazzi who just wanted the snag shot of the two. They don’t even know my name, and they’re going off about this, she thought.

When the two met his bike, she looked over it fondly. This guy really likes his red, she thought, that’s fair, I do too.

“Nice bike.”

“Thank you, Y/N. We can ride this bad boy out to the country and try to escape the cameras, which kind of cuts into the lunch date, but hey-”

“That’s just the life someone famous has to live?” she questioned.

“You’re catching on.”

“I could have been a detective if I wanted it.”

He laughed and sat down on his bike and like instinct, she sat behind him and wrapped her hands on his chest and leant in. She didn’t know how to passenger a motorbike, but he didn’t say she did it wrong.

“You ready?”

“Jason, are you going to kill me?”

“Well if the shoe fits.” he mused.

“I’m ready.”

And off they went.

There was something about the way the bike drove through the streets of Gotham that she loved so much, she had already fallen in love with the restless city and called it home long before right now, but this was exhilarating for her. Somehow driving at 120mph was amazing, it brought out this feeling of freedom, something she hadn’t ever felt back home in Metropolis.

It’s worth it, she thought, it’s forever going to be worth it.

Pulling her off of his bike, the two of them laid underneath the tree on the small hill Jason pulled over by.

“Do you think we escaped the pap?” she asked him.

“Probably not.”

“Festive.”

“So, Y/N, it’s your turn to open up about your family. Besides your mum, I already know about your mum.”

“So, my twin sister goes to our rival school, the Metropolis one, I think she’s more of a people person than I’ll ever be. My parents are still together, they got married after they had my sister and I, so I’m a bastard,” she laughed, “I always like telling people I’m by definition a bastard, a lot of them get mad all like, ‘don’t call yourself that you’re a lovely girl’ and it’s just funny to me,”

He laughed, “You call yourself a bastard out of spite?”

“Am I supposed to not? I think it’s funny-”

“It’s pretty funny. I live out of spite too,” he said, almost like he was pulling out a bad memory, but she egged him on slightly,

“Spite who?” she asked.

“Spite God.”

She let out a laugh, and he seemed to let go of whatever memory he had clung onto to watch her laugh. It was clearly a distracting laugh.

“God tried to strike you and you just went ‘Nah mate, go away’? Respectable. I would do that.” she said while laughing.

“That’s exactly what happened, Y/N-” and his phone pinged, he turned it over, it was Dick.

“Mind sharing who that is?”

“I don’t mind, it’s my older brother sending me an article of us today. We really gave them a show holding hands,” he began reading, “ ‘Millionaire’s Son, Jason Todd, Caught Holding Hands with the Mystery Girl.’ “

“One day they will know my name. And it will be a massive article. Like a gender reveal.”

“Like a gender reveal?!” he said back to her, laughing so hard his smile reached ends she didn’t expect it to be able to go.

“It wasn’t that funny of a joke, Jason,” she said.

“It’s a better joke than my brothers and sister could ever come up with, Y/N, and they’ve had Galas to practice for,” he retorted.

“I’ll set it ablaze like the California gender reveal,” she continued with the joke, expecting this to be too far, but this also showed her that Jason liked dark humor, and she did too.

He burst out laughing at this, and she smiled.

“You have perfect teeth, Jason.”

“Is that what you’re focused on?” he asked.

“They are the forefront when you smile, it is hard not to.”

“Romantic,” he mocked her.

“I can be more romantic next date, if you want it,” she said, inclined towards him saying I want it. She was right.

Why do you write Sam Dalton as such an asshole? :( After all he & MC have been through I just can't see him cheating on her and acting like an ass to his kids. :(

Hey, there! Thank you so much for the ask! You aren't the first to ask me this! I receive hate for my "Dirty Dalton" (mainly from people who think Sam is the best/one of the best LI in Choices).

Before I continue, I would like to share that I am a TNA fan. No, for real. I am. Once upon a time, I was in love with Sam. But, then he broke my heart over and over again because, well, he's an asshole.

I understand why a lot of readers absolutely love him and fantasize about him. It's the whole naughty, thrill of the chase, forbidden love theme--and it's HOT! I totally respect that you disagree with the alternate universe I created about the future of this family.

If you truly want my personal opinion about Dalton, click below the cut. I will be referring to Sam as he/him even though I understand you can choose for Sam to be female. Referring to Sam as a male character is my personal experience with the game. I hope this does not offend anyone.

So, Sam is deliciously hot, and TNA gave us some of the hottest diamond scenes ever with him (angry make-out sesh; fingering in the car after work; the fucking GALA 🔥🔥🔥). But, if you ignore his billionaire status and good looks, what do you have? A selfish, spineless sex addict with absolutely no personality that strung MC on for 19 chapters.

Homeboy has a problem: he's horny. All. Of. The. Time. (Yes. Realistically, that is a problem). He literally had +🔥Desire in his eyes when we first met him, and in just about every conversation, he is predatory ... and let's not even get into how territorial he is from the get go.

Along with his insatiable desire, he's a selfish asshole. Time and time again, Sam gets his carnal desires met, and then INSTANTLY feels remorse ("I'm sorry," "I'm sorry," "I'm sorry" 🤮), making MC feel like shit about herself. Control your dick, dude! Selfish. So, so selfish.

He's a liar. I jumped the Sam ship at the company picnic. I thought things were going well in their budding relationship; he had made promises of making things work out, and needing to talk to the right people... and what happens? They get alone, she confronts him, and he *nervous laughter* oh, about that... uh... *nervous laughter* ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! THEN, proceeds to tell MC that he dreams about soaping her up in the shower for being a "dirty, dirty girl"... FUCK. OFF. I was so embarrassed for MC. She should've quit.

He is a cheater. Now before someone jumps on me, yes! The premise of TNA is that you're a nanny, and you're going to have an affair with your boss. I get it. But at the end of the day, he is engaged. Regardless of how you feel about Sofia, cheating is still wrong. PB tried super hard to make us hate her (very easy to do because she was such a bitch! BUT is it possible she was a bitch because she knew? Way to promote women hating women, PB, when they should be hating the man!).

PB also tried to convince us that this was simply an arranged marriage for business purposes, that he and Sofia didn't have much of a relationship outside of this deal, making the cheating okay. First of all, WRONG. Taking what is not yours is wrong. If it was okay, Sam and MC wouldn't have to sneak around and lie about it. Also, Sofia is Sam's childhood friend. He excuses most of her elite behavior because he's clearly used to it--maybe because they spend a ton of time together. He also continues to make important, life-changing decisions with her behind MC's back all the while MC thinks she and Sam are going to get together (remember the whole "moving up the wedding date"? WTF?!).

Would Sam cheat on MC? PB won't write it that way, but I personally think if you're willing to toss your morals out the window once, you're willing to do it again. (Hence my fic "Once... Always...") And if he were to get caught by someone, say his sons, I think he would do anything to keep the secret his own.

Addressing what you wrote in your ask: "after all he & MC have been through"... yes. They went through a lot (and in book 2, I predict they're about to go through EVEN MORE) ALL BECAUSE OF HIM. He created the obstacles. It wasn't a "love conquers all" kinda thing; it's a "this was wrong, and we tried making it right" kinda thing. If Sam had manned up when he first started having feelings for MC rather than waiting UNTIL HIS WEDDING DAY TO SOFIA (which don't get me started on how shitty that is to do to a woman when he knew all along his feelings. So spineless!), maybe things would be different and I would feel different about this couple.

Side note: MC's not innocent either. She is a thirsty little thing who justified her actions.

Per canon, Sam is not a very involved father. He works too much in order to solidify his children's legacy, which is why he had to hire MC in the first place. I think Sam loves them dearly, but it took MC calling him out to realize he's not doing a great job (remember when he wanted to leave them while HE went to Italy with Sofia? LOL).
