Being Gibbs’ girl and going to visit him at NCIS during a break in your work day. You hurry out of the elevator, excited to see your man, your grin faltering at the sight of a brunette with legs for days perched on the edge of his desk. She’s skimming her fingers around the lip of her coffee cup over and over, and even from your vantage point at the edge of the bullpen you can read her like a book: the open body language, the attention-grabbing red lip, the clear fuck me eyes as they leer over your boyfriend’s form. She stands to brush an invisible piece of lint off one of his lapels, and you tamp down the urge to snarl. Instead, sweet as honey, you sing, “Jethro!”

He turns at the sound of your voice, a slow smile spreading across his face when he spots you, and warmth radiates throughout your body. With a few strides of his long legs, he’s standing before you, inquiring, “Who let you out of the psych ward?”

You toy with the hem of your scrubs and roll your eyes playfully. It’s his favorite joke when he sees you in uniform- and much to your chagrin, it’s become your favorite, too.

“Who’s your new friend?” you ask, inclining your head subtly in the unfamiliar woman’s direction. You can see over Jethro’s shoulder that she has a case file in hand, but she’s clearly assessing your interaction.

“Ms. Hart is a lawyer with a vested interest in this case.”

“Of course that’s her name,” you scoff, and he chuckles before supplying, “There’s no e, sweetheart. More importantly, mine belongs to you.” He presses his lips to your hairline and you hum, closing your eyes and muttering, “I don’t think that’s the part of you she has a vested interest in.”

He lets out a genuine laugh at that, chucking your chin affectionately. “Green’s a new look for you, babe.”

“Oh, shut up, Jet.” You tuck your fingers into the lapels of his suit jacket, intentionally brushing your thumb over the spot she previously touched, and growl, “Mine.”

“All yours,” he confirms with that sexy little smile in his arsenal that only you get to see. You curl your fingers tighter around the fabric, drawing Jethro down towards you and pressing your lips soundly against his. Your tongue sweeps past his lips and he gasps softly, surprised by the sudden show of dominance from his normally sweet, deferential girl. You let a respectable amount of time pass, ensuring that your little act hasn’t gone unseen, before pulling back and licking your lips with a gleam in your eye. You raise your thumb to the corner of Jethro’s mouth and swipe at the smudge of nude lipstick you’ve left behind.

He gives a gentle yet firm squeeze to your hips, his voice low when he says, “We’ll pick this up tonight, yeah?”

“If you’re good,” you grin. Using his broad shoulders to turn him back toward his team, you tap his ass and bark, “Back to work, Gunny!”

You meet Ms. Hart’s gaze with a sly smile, calling your goodbyes to the rest of the team. Passing Fornell on the way out, you shoot him a flirty wave, then turn to make purposeful eye contact with Jethro before the elevators doors close.

Tobias approaches Gibbs, eyebrows raised and a smirk on his face, and mutters, “Me-ow. What was all that about?” 

Your boyfriend narrows his eyes, twinkling with mirth, and responds, “Down, boy. You can’t have that one.”

Alright, hear me out:

Naomi's s/o becoming a Spartan-IV was the best idea ever and now I've come up with two ideas for it:

One idea I had was when she found out her partner had undergone augmentation after having their file declassified, she finally gets to go see them expecting to give you, a new Spartan, a piece of her mind.

But you're not a Spartan. Not yet. You're the slowest recovering candidate.

The other idea I had was that the s/o, instead of being assigned to her immediately like Musa planned, was given to the Mark VII project to test the platform for Spartan-IVs. So when they finally meet again, they're wearing more or less the same armor.

I'm telling you, I love these Naomi-010 asks, they seriously always make my day. My co-worker told me my face lit up and he could tell it was something Halo-related.

The first one would cause Naomi to genuinely panic and any anger she may have held, vanishes. She's reminded of her own argumentations and how many sisters and brother-in-arms she's lost. This was why she didn't want her partner to become a Spartan, now she had to stand there and think if they were going to make it or not. Of course, she wants to see them and just looking at you hooked up to machines in a hospital bed breaks her heart and reminds her of how long it took Kelly to recover. Naomi hopes this is a Kelly situation, where you get back on your feet stronger than ever.

In the second one, Naomi is just confused when Serin tells her you won't be returning to Kilo-Five, of course, she's worried, she wanted to see her partner first and make sure they were okay with her own eyes before giving them a piece of her mind. But does this mean you were sent on a different mission? Naomi tried to contact you, whether by call or message, she didn't expect the call to go through but got a reassuring message that you were alright and that you were sorry you couldn't say anything. This helps her focus on her current task until your paths cross with hers again and Serin promised she would do everything in her power to make it happen. But imagine her surprise when UNSC Port Stanley docks on Earth and there is a Spartan in full armor waiting, armor that looks similar to hers in design but the color scheme is different. They were colors that reminded her of you, and then it clicked and Naomi was relieved and ecstatic.

Let me add to this, what if Musa never intended for them to go back to Kilo-Five? What if he moves them straight to, let's say, the Headhunters? Or put them on the Infinity as Commander Palmer's second in command?

Katya was at Hulrun's aim for a time, but thanks to her fame as a selfless healer, the Inquisitor have had no power to cage her (or worse). And when she caught the fanatic man chasing the Desnan priests, she finally gave in to her instincts and killed him.

Every time when she looks at Woljif, Ekaterina sees her sister. The demeanor, the chit-chat, the horns. She truly believes that the lad has potential to be a good man... despite his devilish grandpa right after his tail.

She got charmed by Arueshalae, and it lets her uneasy because she can't say if that's a genuine feeling or it happens because the sucubus' aura.

She has the urge to visit every old Sarkorian locations and pay her respects to the land ancestors.

But when the first Silmarillion came from my friend, my mom didn’t know what it was or who it was from (the box just had the store’s name on it, not my friend’s) and so she put it somewhere else in the house and forgot about it, leading me to inform my friend (who was asking) that her package had not come, leading her to order ANOTHER one from the store, which was then sent to me... And that’s how I got three Silmarillions for my birthday <3
