Broken staff

It more than likely been mentioned elsewhere but I want to talk about Alastor staff.

Vivienne mention the staff is part of his essence. Now it is split into two along with a deep gash from holy power across Alastor torso. He made sure to salvage the broken pieces before shadowing away.

I REALLY hope they do more angsty shit next season with this. Alastor power is severely weaken until he recuperates. That Alastor is covering this vulnerability from the others. Notice in that group hug, his obvious tattered clothes and gash is hidden and he back to his 'normal self' facade after his chilling and rattled part of the song. No one knows how Alastor battle went....except for the Vees. Dun Dun DUUUUUN.

I would love to watch Alastor trying to power play, manipulate and figure out his freedom. All the while hiding his weaken state. It frustrates Alastor greatly as healing seem agonizing slow. Because holy wounds heal slower or some BS like that. The hotel constantly rely on his powers that he would still provide and he continue to use his reserves to cover up his secret.

Husker was the first to notice something up. Be as observant and ability to read people, and just know Alastor. He catches the momently grimace is Alastor moved his torso wrong or an involuntary flinch, clutching his chest in pain. But Alastor recovers these moments quickly. It's in a blink of an eye type movements, that only Husker catches. It's all so obvious to Husker. The extra strain smile when Alastor performs magic. How exhausted from the exertion afterwards. Husker keeps a wary eye on him but doesn't say anything. We know what happen last time he brought up a touchy subject before.

Charlie was next to notice but it took a while. It took some obvious clues. Something like Alastor faceplants to the ground unconscious from over exhaustion after a more complicated spell. Or maybe some more dramatic...

The Vee's. They know Alastor took heavy hits. They will use that to their advantage. They possibly make a move against him and he unable to defend properly. Vox would be mocking loudly what he witness, revealing Alastor secret to the hotel. Naturally, Charlie would be hurt with a "Why didn't you tell us?" after a gasp.

I really hope they do something with it. It doesn't have to be a full season arc, they can probably even manage it in one episode as a focus with subtle clues from a few episode before it.

I be so annoyed Alastor bounce back like his fight with Adam never happened. I am a sucker of Alastor barely keeping it together and nearly losing his shit. HE. IS. BARELY.KEEPING.IT.TOGETHER. But he still keeping together...we haven't see him break yet. Can you imagine the weight of stress finally breaking him?

His staff (which is part of him) is splint in two. Just like how is internal conflicting dilemma of being powerful sociopath demon with a plan vs growing affections of the residence of hotel that complicates his plans.

All of his careful planning will go to shit, he will lose all control-He going to absolutely alone when he finally breaks down from losing control of everything and the audience will see him drop that smile.

He mention to Charlie that a smile is a way to keep control and that's when we see him drop his. As much he careful with control he doesn't even control his own soul.

It's a cane

A cane is something be used to support themselves with, a crutch. And Alastors just splint in half. The thing that's also part of his essence and probably help channel/control his powers.

Being Their Friend Headcanons:

• you don't like someone? collectively, the guys don't like them either (even though they never met them, they all have beef with your 80 year old aunt susan)

• if you're a girl and you got your period while you're with them, expect mild panicking from raph and/or mikey cause how are you not dying??? (once it's explained, expect princess treatment)

• game night and movie nights on the weekends. monopoly is banned

• head pats and hair ruffles all. the. time.

• if you're short (under 5'5) expect to be the designated forearm rest

• if you wear makeup, expect lots of questions, like how does the eyelash device not pinch your eye?? and why can you remove your eyelashes???

• sleepovers are a thing and it will be a huge fight on who's bed you're gonna sleep in (spoiler: you always end up on the couch with mikey clonked out on the recliner)

• self defense training cause obviously

• leo tries his best not to parent you, but does it unintentionally. you're comfortable enough to call him out and he appreciates it. you end up parenting the guys together...a lot.

• mikey is your go to fun and cuddle buddy. it's not uncommon for you two to be seen playing video games or curled up watching some cartoon on the couch

• donnie and you bond over tv shows and you tend to gossip with him quite a bit. his sleep schedule is all messed up, so if you want to cause trouble at 2 am, he's definitely your guy

• raph is the brother you never wanted but always needed. very loyal but he can and will call you out on your bs. playful banter and stupid nicknames are strong.

• lord help you if you're sick/hurt and you say nothing. they will r i o t

• you cook for them (or bake...or bring them snacks if you do neither) all the time

• leo likes to have tea with you in the morning when you sleep over cause you're not a morning person so you keep quiet

• raph can and will bench press you randomly. you're reading? not anymore, you're now being used as a weight

Tonight, Forever, Then, Here And Now - Nikolai Lantsov

Summary: Nikolai Lantsov x Reader circa King Of Scars, at a party, pretending their feelings for each other can be ignored.

So like, I stopped writing fanfic content and imagines and stuff a few years back because Wattpad wasn't serving me well and Quotev had drained my morale. The last two years I've been posting fanfic on A03, and that's really just been for me and bestie, and this account was really just so I could post Tolya content for bestie. But I'm like very glad you are enjoying my nonsense the same was she does, and I shall continue to take requests and post my random bs because who knew there was such an audience for it xx

Genya smiles looking you up and down. "You clean up nice," Genya says. You give her a look, and she pretends not to see it. "Please try to look like you're happy to be here."

"I did not ask to be here," you remind her. She gently leans closer, bringing her drink to her lips, to try and hide her whispers.

"We both know there is at least one reason you would like to be here," she whispers.

"Don't," you warn her.

"I haven't seen him yet," she continues, "but from what Zoya said-,"

"I do not want to know what Zoya said about Nikolai," you say a little too quickly. Genya smiles, that knowing smile. "I will tell David that you don't like the new hinges, that you preferred the other ones despite the fact they were less functional, because they were prettier."

"No, you wouldn't," Genya says, but she thinks about it. "Oh you might."

"Yes," you tell her, "I might."

You love Genya, she keeps you sane during such fancy and often long functions, but today she wants to talk about Nikolai, and you cannot talk about Nikolai. You're not sure your heart can take it. You've never been able to hide your feelings for him, not from her at least. But today your feelings feel like they could boil over.

"I hoped you'd look my way eventually," comes a voice you don't know. You realise that in your absentmindedness you must have been looking at someone, and rather than admit you were somewhere else entirely, thinking about Nikolai, you try to conjure a smile.

"Have we met?" You ask, you hate small talk, especially with men like these, the type that will ask you to dance. You really do not feel like dancing.

"May I have this dance," you go to say no, but you realise when the confusion crosses the strangers face it isn't he who asked. You play the question back in your mind, and you know the voice, you'd know it anywhere, you'd know it in a crowded room, you'd know it tired, to quiet or pretending to be someone else, and you know it now.

"Your Highness," you give a curtsey, it's a little joke that no one but Nikolai and Genya seem to understand. Nikolai tries to make his smile look more humble, but the smugness lingers. He offers you his hand.

"Shall we?" he asks. You stare at him, like waiting would make it make more sense. He takes your hand with a smile and throws the stranger a gentle shrug. "I have a tendency to make them short of words." You follow him as he pulls you along, trying to ignore the smirk Genya has. "Dance with me."

"We shouldn't be seen together," is the first sentence you manage to put together. Nikolai just gives an indignant sigh.

"Just, take my arm, and don't look so stiff," he says, pulling you in. You let him, having him hold you close takes away some of the attention from the fact you do not wish to be dancing, for understandable reasons. You don't even want to be here at all.

"I should warn you that I am a terrible dancer," you tell him. He chuckles and you can feel his breath against your skin, and you try not to let your thoughts linger on it.

"It's okay love, no one's going to be watching you," he teases.

"By all means, don't waste your pleasantries on me," you respond. He places a hand on your hip and you try not to jolt from the shock. You'd intended on avoiding him, you'd hoped you could spend the whole night, not having to share a word with him, and now his hands are against you and it's like he has filled up all your senses.

"My eyes are up here," Nikolai whispers, bringing himself close to your ear. You step on his foot and he bites his tongue pretending to not notice. "Ouch," he whispers. "Put your hand on my-,"

"No," you say quickly.

"Can you at least pretend you like spending time with me?" he asks.

"I like spending time with you," you say, looking up to meet his gaze. "But I hate parties, I hate... all of this and people are looking at me, I don't want them looking at me, and we know why they're looking at me, because I am dancing with you. Something else I did not intend to do."

You see one of the court members leaning into whisper to someone you don't recognise and you fight off the groan. Nikolai follows your gaze. "Ah, the rumour mill's already started," he observes.

"Sound less pleased with yourself," you tell him. His grin turns mischievous, and he looks more like the Nikolai you know, underneath all the royal attire and façade. You wish you could smile and just be happy in his company, you wish it was that easy. But it's anything from that easy, and as each day passes it gets more and more complicated. "I've heard the rumours about you."

"Who hasn't?" he asks, tone still filled with good-humour, in spite of how quickly he could have misinterpreted that comment.

"I mean... the other rumours, about you and Zoya," you're teasing him and he knows it.

"Yes, that's why she is so set on finding me a wife," he lets slip the tiredness in his tone.

"Oh, that's why you're insisting on dancing with me," you say, letting him pull you closer. "Not because you couldn't find a date in time."

"You think I couldn't find a date in time?" he asks, mock offended.

"No, I know you could have dates lined up out the door," you say, "so it made me wonder, why you wanted to bother me."

"I'm bothering you, am I?"

"Shut up Nikolai," you look away trying to stop yourself from blushing. He always acts like this, and you always react like this, you should know better.

"I wasn't expecting to see you here," he admits. It sounds like a confession, but you've got not a single clue what he is confessing to.

"You weren't supposed to find me here," you admit, equally honest, equally confessional, but at least you know what you're confessing to, even if he doesn't. You feel your throat drying up as Nikolai pulls you in even closer. "Strong grip," you whisper. He laughs and you can feel the breath moving in his chest as he does. "Anyway, how is the whole wife thing going?"

"Oh please, I had hoped I would be free of that, at least with you," he says.

"Why would I free you from conversing clearly the most important decision you're yet to make as royalty and ruler?" you tease.

"I knew you'd turn on me one day," he whispers, "but this betrayal, this stings."

"Well, Your Majesty, I am just concerned for the royal line," you say, dipping your head in a subtle bow.

"Mind if I cut in?" Zoya asks, approaching the two of you.

"Yes," Nikolai groans but keeps a smile on his face.

"A word," Zoya says, eyeing you.

"When I have a moment?" you ask.

"After your dance?" Nikolai inquires.

"I am not cutting in for you," Zoya tells Nikolai directly, "and no," she looks to you, "not when you have a moment, now."

Zoya pulls you aside. "Now I don't know what I've done to incur the wrath of General Nazyalensky, but I assume I am about to find out," You say, not liking quite how hard the grip on your arm is.

"He needs to find a wife," Zoya states flatly.

"I know," you reply.

"He will not find a wife, with you around taking up his time," Zoya points out. If Zoya were someone else, you'd think this was coming from a place of jealousy, possessiveness, or her own interest in Nikolai. But anyone who knows Zoya enough, knows her one true loyalty, the thing she loves above all else, is Ravka. That is where her intentions lie. She wants what is best for her country, it isn't personal and you know it.

"He sought me out," you tell Zoya.

"And he will do that," she tells you, "over and over, and it gets him no where, he will chase you and it will mean nothing except act as a distraction from what he must do."

"Please, Sobachka or not, Nikolai isn't some... love sick puppy, he is a romantic, and these proposed arrangements do not interest him, but even if there was a deeper reason for that, it would not be me," you state.

Zoya's laugh is tired, and in its own way, cruel. "You exhaust me," Zoya admits. Zoya was all kinds of beautiful, and you know her to be beautiful even in her cruelty, in her viciousness. Zoya was so beautiful in her anger, even in her war, that even as the Storm Witch her beauty is what people remember most about her. You assumed she looked right through you, but she was staring at you now, right at you. And that was the most terrifying. "I suggest, you put aside your naivety and take a walk. Let me do what is necessary, what is best."

"For Ravka?" You ask, tone bleak.

"And for Nikolai," she states, "your own feelings aside, that is what you want, isn't it?"

"You know nothing of my feelings Zoya," you say, more venomous than you'd originally planned.

"I think it is you that knows nothing of your feelings," Zoya says, "now you need some air, don't you?"

"I need some air?" you ask. Zoya looks to the archway leading out of the festivities and into the gardens.

"You need some air," Zoya says again, "or do I need to physically remind you."

Zoya would not use her small science here, not like this, but the threat was filled with a level of sincerity. "I need some air," you reply and take your leave. 'What I really need is a drink,' you think to yourself as you make it past most of the crowd.

"Quick, while no one is looking," comes Nikolai's voice as he pulls you into the shadows.

"What... are you doing?" you ask, biting back any sounds of shock.

"You help me, I help you, isn't this how this goes?" he is being himself again, that Nikolai you know so well, all mischief and planning. You knew Nikolai could escape almost any situation if he wanted to, and if he put his mind to it. Clever as a fox. Sly like one too, you'd often thought.

"I need some air," you say, trying your best to oblige Zoya and her better intentions.

"Mind joining me for a walk in the gardens?" Nikolai asks.

"Would I mind you joining me," you correct him. He smirks.

"You wouldn't mind," he places an arm around you, resting a hand on the lower of your back, "I am such a delight to be around."

He is uncharacteristically quiet as you walk down the path and around the garden. "I am sorry for Zoya," he says finally.

"It's futile to apologise over her," you say, "no one could control her if they tried."

"Perhaps not, but... I do not like the way she talks to you," he says.

"She talks to everyone that way."

"But she shouldn't talk to you like that," he says. You want to ask about why you deserve special treatment, about why he is seeking you out knowing there are things he needs to be doing. But something else catches your thoughts before you can ask either of those questions.

"Were you eavesdropping?" you ask.

"Can royalty really eavesdrop?" he asks, trying to pull that charm he has to cover his tracks.

"Nikolai," you say, sighing.

"Call me Kolya," he says, "like you used to."

You think your heart might just stop in your chest. "I... there is a lot of things I used to say, that it's best if I don't say anymore," you manage, looking up at the sky instead of at him. It's cloudy and dark, the stars barely managing to shine through all the fog.

"Why not?" he asks, genuine, needing to know.

"Because things can't be how they were Nikolai, not anymore, not now," you say, "and you know that better than I do."

"I don't believe that," he says, leaning on the wall. You look at his waistcoat, wondering how it would look if he were to return to the party with the dirt of the garden on his good clothes.

"You need to," you say, stepping to stand beside him, resting your arms on the wall, hands just out of subtle reach of his. He would have to reach for you, intentionally, knowingly, noticeably to take your hand in his. Part of you wants him to, part of you knows he really shouldn't.

"You're really trying to sound convincing aren't you?" he asks.

"I am allowed my fantasies, you cannot afford them," you admit. He smiles, but you can feel the sadness thinly veiled by the smugness.

"So you have fantasies about me?" He cocks his head to give you a look.

"You shouldn't keep them waiting," you say, not giving in to him, as much as you want to.

"I'm royalty, I never keep anyone waiting, they're just too eager," he says. He moves his hand over, just a small amount, considering it as he edges across the stone of the wall. You remind yourself not to hold your breath.

"Nikolai..." you whisper. "You can't do this." You want to tell him that it is not fair, to have loved him all this time, and always known he could never be yours. With him this close the idea that he could, even for a moment is filling your brain with desires and thoughts you've tried hard to bury.

"But what if we did anyway," he asks. "Tell me like I am not what I am, but just who I am, forget the titles and the obligations. If it was not about the rules and Zoya and the parade of princesses and diplomats that I am expected to smile at and charm. If it was just you and I, tell me like it was that."

"Why?" you ask. "What is the point?"

"So I know," he says, "I need to know if I am truly going mad, or if maybe, my dashing charms have won over even you."

"My feelings for you have nothing to do with your charms Nikolai," you smile to yourself, "I fell for you long before you became so boyishly handsome."

"And my heart belonged to you long before I ever thought I could be king," he admits.

"But you did get handsome, and you are King," you say.

"What if," he takes your hand now and the warmth of his hand engulfing yours makes your breath hitch, "we just didn't care about it. What if I told Zoya that she needn't worry with her matchmaking because there is no one I would be willing to rule with that isn't you?"

"I'd say you're a fool, and that only Kings in bed time stories marry for love," you say.

"And I would remind you once said every prince in every fairy tale made you think of me."

"Saints I really used to say things didn't I?"

"I always loved that about you."

"You still say things."

"Say you'll have me," he says, "if you will have me, I will sort the rest."

"And have to dance with you in front of people, I don't think I could do that, you misstep," you tease.

"You stepped on my foot," he chuckles. You look at him, and those eyes are staring right back at you, into you, like he could see exactly who you are at a glance, like he has always known. Like every breath, ever step, has always been leading here, to this moment. "You're leaving me without an answer."

"Nikolai," you whisper, "you're not supposed to make this choice."

"But I want to make it anyway," he says, "I am King, no one will argue with me."

"Zoya will," you say as his hand brushes your cheek.

"Let her try," he says. "So... is that a yes? All I ask is that you say yes if you want to, not because you should or shouldn't but because you want to, and you speak to me as you always have, and call me like you once did."

"Kolya," you whisper, and the softness in your voice is answer enough, but you tell him anyway, "yes."

You've probably answered this lots before, but: do you have a fairly clear hierarchy of favourites among the Royal Ballet principals? And your favourite role or two for each? :-) Also: of the recent retirees, who would you most like to see guesting?

Also a) thank you so much for obtaining the info that it'll be Nela and Ball for that "Winter's Tale" stream! Partner and I have got our tickets booked to see it at the Cineworld in Aberdeen. <3 It's the ballet that got me properly back into ballet, when I watched it during lockdown, and just: yay. :-)

And b) your blog has just been so lovely and helpful in growing my ballet knowledge! And your gifs are superb, and your Matthew Ball love is validating. :D

Also also: do you have any favourites among the Scottish Ballet dancers? I was lucky enough to see "Cinders" on tour, and I was so impressed with both Bruno Micchiardi (as Cinders) and Jessica Fyfe (as Princess Louise), but I am no expert.

I think someone asked me for a ranking of all the principals some time ago, but I can't even find the post anymore; I don't mind one bit answering this again! <3

If I have to talk strictly about my faves, it goes like this:

Nunez (eheh!): if have to narrow down her most iconic roles I have to give you at least three (please bear with me, I'm doing my best), which are O/O, Kitri and Aurora.

Takada: Titania and O/O. I'm just so very sorry that she's been more injured than not lately. I miss her.

Hayward: Juliet and any Ashton role I can think of (rhapsody, enigma variations, those bits of Titania we got, etc.). I also think she makes one of the best Claras out there.

Kaneko: O/O (saw her live in the BS pdd and the White Adagio with Vadim and it was life changing, bye). Also her Gypsy girl in the two pigeons is iconic. Special mention for her Aurora.

Lamb: Manon. Signature role. Was born to play it. I also really love her Mary Vetsera and her Aurora.

I'm a bit uncertain if I should include Anna Rose or not...sometimes I really love her, but overall I'd like her to be more consistent. But I'll say she was born to play Juliet.

Muntagirov: he's more versatile than people give him credit for, and really has the whole package, but I'd say his best roles are Siegfried and De Grieux.

Ball: he's such an outstanding actor that it's hard to choose, but I'm going with Romeo and Albrecht.

Bracewell: another wonderful Romeo right here, and I was blown away by his Hamlet in the Ashton insights.

Mcrae: Oberon and Rudolph for sure.

Sambè: sorry to repeat myself but we have another great Romeo right here. From what I've seen he makes also a great Colas.

As for retirees, the one that I really wish was still performing is Roberta Marquez, though maybe she isn't exactly a recent one. Out of the most recent ones I only miss Federico Bonelli because he always brought something special to his performances, although I have to say that the struggles and limitations that come with age were very visible in the last couple of years (his Siegfried variation in the SL cinema relay with Takada comes to mind).

As for the winter's tale I'm really happy to see someone who appreciates it as much as I do! I think it's a truly lovely ballet, one of the few modern classics that really stuck with me. You're very welcome for the info and I hope you'll have a great time at the theatre...unfortunately I found out that it won't be streamed in my country, so I'm going to miss out on it 😤

Scottish Ballet is one of those companies that I wish had more footage available, because bits I do get to see are really impressive. I'm kind of familiar with Constance Devernay, Bethany kingsley-garner and Andrew Peasgood because I've seen them in the recordings of The Fairy's Kiss and The Snow Queen, and I seriously enjoyed those performances!

I wish there was a full recording of Cinders because both the trailer and the rehearsal look amazing! Jessica Fyfe is a really delicate and expressive dancer from the clips I've seen of her, and both her and Micchiardi impressed me in the rehearsal poste on YT, cause the intentions and mannerisms in their dancing were so clear: I immediately caught up on the reversal of Cinders gender and that she was the princess even though I hadn't read about the novelty introduced by this production beforehand, but everything was immediately clear thanks to their attention to detail.

The little I've seen from this company makes me wish for more!

DAY 3 | It Takes Two (2/6)

Nina: Alright. Guess we aren't quite wrapped up with the drama for tonight. The islanders start to scatter, but this group has decided to hang around the fire pit a while longer to debrief over the recoupling. To no one's surprise, Frankie and Sydney are happier than ever having successfully coupled up tonight, avoiding the dramatic mishaps the rest of the islanders had to endure. Ramone and Sydney are happy their friend Yana has made it out of the chaos unscathed. But Ramone's relief is short lived after Camryn makes a pretty unfunny joke about her being better suited coupled up with Hikaru. Yeesh, let the man breath, Cam! Looks like this might have been the final straw for Ramone: now that he's resolved to playing the field, just who does he plan on going after?

This is the anon who just watched bottle rocket. I found a 25min behind the scenes for it on youtube, and that was. One of the funniest things I have ever watched. There was precisely one (1) woman on there who remembered they were supposed to be promoting the film and fully everyone else is sitting about going 'I dunno man, it just sort of happened ¯\_(ツ)_/¯' The biggest actor they got goes 'I popped over for three days, how am I supposed to remember anything?' Then even the one woman who knows what she's on camera for goes 'they're brilliant boys, but they kept sort of just ... wandering off???' and yet another says 'I struggled to find evidence that they ever did any work. I mean presumably they did because a script landed on my table and it was brilliant, but I coulda sworn they weren't doing a thing.'

Hi! I read that post about Ohm/Nanon and the uneasiness you are feeling about the Pat/Pran episodes. Could you fill me in? What happened between them? I am also a huge bad buddy fan. I also have high hopes for the bb episodes of Our Skyy 2. Reading your post made me a tiny bit worried. Thanks!

First up; I'm sorry for making you worry! Nothing is official and it's best to just wait till the episodes come out and be happy or angry then. The worrying before is always such a pain..

But to answer your question:

Idk how much you know about Ohmnanon but they were really good friends even before bbs and also after bbs you could often see them hanging out (it was even a meme that they see each other literally everyday) and it was all nice and fun. When you had the bbs boxset or watched P'Aofs reaction videos you could hear/ see how many scenes they actually improvised since they just knew Patpran perfectly (for example the whole phone call scene, the breakfast in bed scene, the scene where Pat stood behind Pran to play the instrument, the kisses when they officially got together, Ohms tear during the Ep 5 kiss; the way Ohm played Pat in general - Pat wasn't supposed to be in love with Pran right from the start subconsciously, it was Ohm who said he couldn't play Pat NOT in love with Pran, which is why you can see Pat being so flirty and staring at Pran so much even before they got together [the best example is the bus stop scene for that.] The list could go on but I'm gonna stop it here). During the bts you could also see how comfortable Ohmnanon were with each other, they were always kissing or hugging or playing with one another; so it got clear how they managed to get their characters dynamic so good.

And now.. well. Our Skyy 2 is supposed to be filmed now. And Ohmnanon are, let's say, not well. In the beginning of this year Ohm had a scandal (which I won't explain further right now) and it changed a lot of stuff. The fandom changed, picked sides. Many didn't want to support Ohm any longer and also didn't want Nanon to still be associated with Ohm. I would say this was the time everything changed.. The fandom turned into the ones who stayed with Ohm and the ones who stayed with Nanon and somehow every 2 business days they argue. It's a lot about protection I think and everyone feeling like their bias doesn't get as much love as the other (very kpop like). An example would be during Hi-Touch: both Ohm and Nanon had a fan ignore them during a hi-touch. And both times the stans accused the other of being at fault, threw hate towards the one who didn't get ignored or said stuff like "if it were the other way around.." which was bs, since both happened and fans reacted the same way but yeah; that's kinda how the fandom got.

And to top it all off; Ohmnanon stopped interacting. They grew very distant towards one another. Atp they don't even look at each other. They definitely don't interact. During lives they only talk to the interviewer or ppl behind the camera, never even towards one another. They don't whisper or hug or whatever else like they did before. You never see them together anymore, if they are at the same location they won't be with one another; instead they'll be with others or alone even. I think the biggest "official" indicator that everything DEFINITELY changed and isn't just paranoia was Nanons birthday wish to Ohm in march. The last 4 years (? I'm not quite sure if its 3 or 4 yrs) Ohm always got a feed post with hbd wishes and all that. This year Nanon was the only one from all GMMTV colleagues who just reposted the official GMMTV birthday wish in his story to congratulate Ohm. Everyone else posted a private pic from Ohm, a pic with Ohm or at least a pic Ohm himself made and posted; So Nanon really stood out with the official GMMTV wish, especially since he never did that with others either. And we all know how many pics ON have together bc of the whole cp thing.. so it was weird. Aka after that, many fans got the message that ON definitely are not like before; you could already see it but that was one of the things that officially kinda sealed the deal? Since it was such a drastic change to before.

Why everything changed; nobody knows. It just gets clearer that the ON cp is definitely breaking up. Maybe they had a fight. Maybe it has to do with the scandal. Maybe it's fake. Some people say it's gmmtvs stragegy to break up cps who don't wanna do another bl together and to do that they shouldn't interact publicly. But they're all just theories. What actually happened is between ON but it's still heartbreaking to see.

And with everything changing so drastically I get a little scared about the OurSkyy 2 Episodes haha.

PLUS; It seems like they want to do a mash up with ATOTS which is quite devastating.

I really think that trailer was just throwing us off and throwing a bone to those who don’t buy it. The Aerith GS date is always talked about by devs, they know it’s the fan service moment before her death. They used that and it backfired more than they anticipated. But I’m not worried about Cloti. The remake trailers didn’t show even an ounce of the amount of Cloti we got, all the cheeky comments walking around and all the grabbing during combat cinematics. 😌💕

Not to mention so much has been done to build up Cloti this time. So much groundwork. Like moments into the game Jessie asks about Cloud and Tifa, it’s set up right from the get go. Cloud getting jealous. Cloud openly flirting with her (the flower, the beautiful comment). Even Marle ffs stops Cloud and implies what she does and then comments on them both. I’m sure CAs take that like “she said she needs a FRIEND” and not understanding the context of “she needs a friend not a fuckboi” because she can see how enamoured he is. The only time we really see Cloud open up with dialogue when you’re walking around is in Chapter 3 with Tifa. He is the one asking questions and keeping the conversation going. The whole rooftops with Aerith is her being annoying, him grunting/shrugging her off and then her usual OOPS I TRIPPED I NEED ATTENTION!

There’s just no way they are setting up what they have been with the intention of giving us the middle finger. Just some choices are so dense I can’t believe they didn’t make them on purpose to stoke the flames. Making a song called “No promises to keep” when your two canon couples are both based on promises seems shady as fuck. And none of this makes Aerith look good after she was so supportive of Cloti in remake. Literally called Tifa someone special to Cloud then she’s grabbing his arm and doing her tripped tactic. 🙄 Also in TOTP it’s supposed to be Aerith and Tifa sharing stories with one another - so I need reminding but doesn’t that mean she told Aerith about the water tower?

I am so certain Cloud is going to push her off him or dismiss her like he did in the OG. It’s fan service BS. CAs still won’t buy the game for it because they don’t know how to play, they don’t know other characters and they’ll just watch the “All Cloud and Aerith Scenes” video for a grand total of 22 minutes or something. Then babble on about that being canon along with a couple posts about Barret/Dyne being “OMG so sad 😭” to make it seem like they play.

I just hope they stick to their guns and make sure Aerith isn’t as prominent in Part 3. That is NOT her part. She does her bit. We’ve already had to endure her for longer than we should have. Her death won’t be meaningful if we have her whiny voice making comments from the lifestream every 5 minutes.

Tifa never told anyone about the water tower. There's parts of her recount where she's speaking to someone, but some parts are introspective, and that's one of them.

Aerith also doesn't listen to Tifa unless it interests her. She was around for the picnic bit then fucked off for the rest. Tifa tells most of her story to Red.

The ost does come off shady AF. Cloud never made a promise to Aerith for one to be mentioned either way, and given it's the ost for the whole game, you'd think it would focus on things that happened over things that didn't, but for some random reason not-aerith's-singing-voice-in-a-million-years is going on about promises, and the only one who made her a promise is Zack.

Eddie would definitely get good at telling the signs of when you’d need to leave public spaces. Your antsy,can’t sit still. Picking at your fingers or face hands shaking or you constantly looking at the door. Eddie would grab his keys In a heartbeat and leave dragging you along.

Eddie’s favorite thing though is the way you act innocent even though he knows you’re anything but. He watched you play dumb when Jason made a sex joke and you just tilted your head at him. In reality eddie was sure you understood the joke, the amount of times eddie had been balls deep inside you at that point.

Eddie has his days where he’s mean to you in bed because he finds your whimpers and begs cute. He stays relatively soft though especially seeing as he was your first boyfriend. It’s normally a lot of praises and soft kisses to make sure you know you’re a good girl.

Likes and Dislikes: I loveeeee sweet and/or salty foods, and literally anything with noodles. I'm also super into anime and video games, and that's how I spend most of my free time. I like sports as well, but only very specific ones (aka the ones I'm good at-). I despise bugs with every corner of my being, and cannot be physically near them without freaking out. I also dislike sitting still for too long, as I can get bored relatively easily, so it helps to have something in front of me to keep me occupied. Lastly, I really dislike bitter food. I can handle any other form of flavouring: sour, sweet, salty, spicy, you name it. But bitter flavours are on a whole other level for me, and I refuse to consume them under any circumstance. It's part of the reason why I dislike coffee and tea so much, unless they're drowning in sugar and cream.

Hobbies: On top of watching anime, I also play a lot of video games. I also play badminton and volleyball (I'm a libero!) and recently have gotten into taekwondo. I also play the flute and ukulele c:

Well, that was certainly A Finale. Beware of spoilers.

What was up with the writing this episode? SNW so far benefitted from incredibly tight and technical writing, especially in the Fucking Around moments (barring the ship-wide memory wipe after Elysian Kingdom).

Quality of Mercy was a mess of storylines, where even their impact on the episode wasn't always clear. The Pikes jumping around time were incredibly jarring. Bringing Future!Pike in with the Maroon Monster immediately made me fear they would redo Star Trek V, since they set up Sybock for this season.

Speaking of which, the finale should have given us Sybock as big bad, and Spock, Pike and Number One as the protagonists. Yes, the view is great from up on this hill, I might stay a while.

And I know the writers said Balance of Terror, but the whole Romulan subplot are the five year old warmed up leftovers from The Vulcan Hello. No, even Chris can't save that with some eggs and parmesan. It's spaghetti, Chris, for crying out loud. They're five years old. You'll get a stomach ache. Just cook up a fresh batch. 🙄

Instead of the shoehorned Romulan plot without any impact on the main story because alternate timeline, they could have sent future Number One to talk with either Pike or her own younger self. She was criminally under-used in the second half of the season. Do it The Visitor style as a bottle episode, where she gets one chance at time travel to try and avoid the war. Future!Number One knows she's dooming her timeline and that the end goal is to erase herself, but the war is that desperate. She is let out of prison (if were going with that bs; Julian got a pat on the back and was told to take a handicap at darts) and gets told that she won't be arrested in the past if she can prevent Pike from changing the reactor accident. Then end it with her still being arrested. Were the timecops lying to her or is the federation still doomed? Find out next season!

Who introduces a new Big Bad in the finale anyway? And immediately takes the "we could have been friends" storyline as a... subplot? Just to wrap it up after 10 minutes? After introducing yet another bigger, badder bad in the same timeframe? Anson Mount, Matthew MacFadzean and Carolyn Scott (and the makeup/prosthetics team!) would have been compelling antagonists/grudging allies/beloved enemies for the entire next season. I am in mourning. It could have been glorious.

Even within the episode we got, two big opportunities were missed: First, I get that with everything else going on, we're not setting up Spirk this episode. Sure. Fine. Whatever. But for the love of batman, there already was a shot where Kirk watched Spock leave the room. Was it really too much to have him check out Spock's butt? I am asking for scraps!

The second missed opportunity was to not cast James Frain as the Romulan commander. The Romulan reveal in TOS was incredibly funny with Mark Lenard playing both Sarek and the Romulan commander. I mean, of course Spock's crewmates would stare at him!

Quality of Mercy even falls flat thematically. Kirk and Pike together in an episode about changing fate (OR WAS IT? I CAN'T BLOODY TELL WITH THE MESS ON SCREEN!) should have ended in good ole Star Trek fashion with a compromise: There could have been a future where Pike could have avoided the pikebox at the cost of acting "recklessly" like Kirk. He would of course have chosen to not compromise his principles and gotten a milder version of the pikebox as a reward. As the younger captain it also feels weird that Kirk would teach Pike how to suck eggs. And how tone-deaf do you have to be as a writer to make the Can't Change Fate episode the one to introduce Kirk? The captain whose defining characteristic is that he doesn't believe in a no win scenario? Having Kirk's personnel file hovering over Pike's shoulder, while he's having the No Win Scenario talk with Spock was funny (derogatory). Like the writers were pointing and laughing at our boy. No wonder he ended with looking in the camera as if he was on the office.

Also: Boy, am I glad that the captain got his very own traumatic past. I thought his traumatic future really wasn't enough. One more for a drinking game!

Also also: What they did to Number One to as a goodbye gift means there is STILL not a single live action Star Trek where the women didn't deserve better.

In conclusion: Balance of Terror was a lot of fun, and Prodigy and LDS are still the best Trek.

Small rant.

I've mentioned this before but I made this acc because the dph subreddit is.. very wishy-washy. Tho if I'm being fair I've noticed people on reddit in general are a lot more cruel anyway..

I remember seeing this ooold ass tifu post about this guy that struggled with brushing their teeth and shit and end up whole breaking a tooth tryna bite a jolly rancher off rip. And even with soooo soo many comments, I can literally count on a single hand how many people weren't ridiculing him about his hygiene/accusing them of lying about having a partner because of the way the dude's breath "must" smell. Shit still pisses me off to this day. He was so self-loathing to the point he was just talking it all and saying he deserved it to anyone tryna defend him

Anyway I bring that up to say the dph sub is just as insufferable.. if not more so. It frustrates me a lot. Everyone is so eager to be right you know? It's hard to explain correctly

Addiction is not fun. I still feel like a dumbass for landing myself in this predicament I'm in nowadays. If I hadn't had waited this long to care about my future, maybe I wouldn't have backed myself into this corner. Maybe I'd feel more safe to bring it up to people in person

I know at the end of the day my problem is still partially on me. I can explain it away in 1000 diff ways but there are resources and even though it would more than likely change the dynamic of my life for a bit, I more than likely could get help. I know what's trapping me is my own fears with making any sort of trouble or worry for anyone

Tho with all that being said.. my addiction problem does not give anyone the right to treat me like dirt. It just doesn't. Doesn't matter if addiction is wrong. Doesn't matter if I'm caging myself. I am still a person with thoughts and feelings outside my addiction.

Which people on that subreddit seem to not understand. Allll the time you’re seeing people look at dph addicts as dumb teenagers that play up their problem to be like xyz rapper. Or people being disgusted that anyone would ever dare touch the substance after learning more about side effects of it. And the many, many varieties of assholes that think that just because addiction is bad, they can say whatever they want cause because they're "in the right"

When I made this account, I almost entirely stopped using/checking reddit period. The hostility + the basically copy pasted posts you'd get everyday just wasn't helping. Tho I'll occasionally look around in there and keep it moving.

Which is when I saw a long post listing off possible reasons of why people do dph. It's a really big problem in that sub. The mods either never check around or they let it slide cause it's "tough love" or some bs. Either way, it's not uncommon to get the same Why does anyone do dph???? post multiple times a day. Not to say they're all bad. I've seen a few of, while a lil overly black and white, justified posts telling a story about watching benadryl destroy someone. Or some others from people that tried but didn't like dph and was in shock that there's people that still go back to it. Tho with those exceptions in mind, they're few and far between. Most of the time, its someone that has never taken dph themselves being a dick to "snap people out of it" or whatever

Everyone in the comments were relatively on the same page. Everyone was saying like yeah I think that this should be pinned it's annoying to get the same question over and over again. I was mostly just scrolling through kinda in shock there weren't too many people complaining bout it. Til I found the one ofc.

Some dude replied to someone saying it should be pinned with the most cartoon supervillainish mess I've ever seen. The comment was roughly: Yeah I bet you'd like a little dph echo chamber. Well guess what I won't let you so why do you do dph?

Like first of all.. you won't let them... come tf on. You're not some sort of hero for spamming the same question over and over again. I'm sure most ask themselves that all the time. But two.. if you don't want an echo chamber of dph supporters, wouldn't you also not want an echo chamber of dph haters either? Either way, who does it help? It should never be so one or the other and I don't get why people don't understand that. If all it took was a few people being an ass to cure addiction, meth would not be a thing point blank period. The strays meth addicts be catching be wild 😭😭

Anyway, I said that. I said that what's the point of a circle jerk of the same exact question with the same exact answers cause I mean... that's what it is atp. I even expressed in past comments that I think it should be more restricted due to how many better alternatives there are for otc allergy meds/how it's linked to an increased risk of dementia even with the recommended dosage. That's totally fine. But why would you want me to suffer more plain cause I have an addiction?

It makes me seriously question to morals of people at times. I swear as soon as people feel like they're in the right they can do and say whatever. 10:29am We are alive mf's!!! We made it to the new year!

Currently having my semi-annual financial hoopla but things will work themselves out 😇

January goals: not spending money basically.

- don't get so drunk, it is not fun anymore!

- stop buying food/ drinks out! Too much $

- look for free activities

- free hobbies

- be mindful of what you're doing! And not doing!

- wake up earlier and go to bed earlier! (Gradual)

1:01pm I have already caved and have gotten PDQ 🤣 it's all good I'm straight chilling ❤️ Stay positive y'all. Watching A Historia Delas on Hulu, looks pretty good!

3:45pm Ok so PDQ has made me completely lethargic, the salt has made me totally bloated AF like I feel it in my belly and my feet and hands. I want to work on increasing my energy levels this year and omg this was not the right thing to do. I'm so bloated I'm too uncomfortable to nap even. This show is very good though thank god bc I'm clearly not doing much else today.

Also, one of my wall adjacent neighbors has been playing freaking dubstep or something for like 2 hrs straight and I just realized it's making my brain feel weird/ fuzzy but I couldn't identify why tf I felt that way before. There's so much damn noise in the world it's no wonder everyone is losing their mind/ irritable and slightly annoyed all the time.

8:04pm I did my nails! Also binge watching this show was a very good decision, the best I've made all day 🤣 Tried eating some cheese and it's too much!! My body is just rejecting all of this rich af holiday food and I should really clean out the fridge tomorrow and start fresh. I know it's a waste but idc I don't want to keep feeling like crap and I hate expired food. It's not my fault I went on vacation for like 10 days and all this was too much. I'm still not used to buying/ cooking food for one person. I need to stop buying gallons of milk ffs! It's way too much I had to have like 4 cups last night bc it was expiring today. This is just all part of being mindful, everything is a learning process! You are ok and you are doing great! ❤️

Also, learning more and more about how abusive my relationship is and I'm so glad the internet exists because it would have been so easy to just *not* be aware of this experience that i unfortunately share with many people!!
