I don't have enough songs in my library that feature anguished and inarticulate yelling for the song's lyrical and emotional climax

Personally I think when Snow opened his eyes in the hereafter it would be in the meadow of the Covey house with Lucy Gray and her goat just out of reach, and he would call her name and she wouldn't turn. He'd walk and he still couldn't reach her. There were mockingjays in the sky chirping endlessly, and he ran and screamed and ran and screamed and Lucy Gray still wouldn't turn. She was there, at peace and on her own, humming her meadow song. Completely unaware of him as he was imprisoned in this most peaceful hell, agonizing for the control and love that was no longer his.

HE HAS BEEN AWAY FOR A WHILE , solo business wasn't something out of ordinary when it comes to his father's orders, he is raising a supposed " heir " after all. And who is Suzuki Toichiro's son if he wasn't able to carry out things on his own, to establish dominance and evoke fear into others singlehandedly - to fight, and win without fail. Right, there are things he has to do, but he is only human, no matter what the colder eyes of his father saw. He can only do so much. He can survive, but not unscathed.
Bandages to broken skin in his hand, bandaids to the smaller injuries on his cheek, he treats them with nonchalance, they are nothing new. But Suk-ja doesn't, she frets and worries and hovers over his wounds with profound care, he merely observes, speechless and mildly embarrassed and so ... so tired. Exhaustion seeps into his bones and makes them heavier, but he fights it like the headstrong boy he is, he doesn't want to rest yet, there is so much he wants to share, and so much he wants to hear and catch up to.
" I missed you. " Is heard in the midst of their chatter and laughter, truly, he did. And somehow, it's so easy to admit, what's it about her that makes him feel so safe ? Later on he realizes, maybe it's something mutual, something they can share that no one can take away, he doesn't know what is it, yet. But the night goes on and he smiles until his cheeks hurt, and he doesn't want these moments to go away, and he loves every second spent in her company, and it's almost like every bad thing can be overcome with such a friend. But she leaves him behind with the silence, and he almost wants to hate her for it, he feels her weight and looks baffled, Suk-ja had this look to her eyes, a tired thing that spoke volumes of how much she has been resting. Not so much, it seems. Carefully, a blanket is placed around her shoulders. He can't hate her, who is he fooling ? Certainly not himself, knowing full well she would be the sole reason he can sleep soundly this night, with her comforting presence and all the bright feelings she left in his chest.
