Okay Losers first bc we all know I'm more partial to them

For pack alpha you're expecting me to say Bill right? Wrong! ...Kinda- wait. Okay so yes default I would say Bill is the pack leader, it makes sense but I love the idea of him as 'the' pack omega for more reasons then I would like to admit and in that au Mike is the pack alpha. Can't tell me that I'm wrong. For second in command? If it's 'typical' a/b/o au where Bill is the pack alpha, his second in command would be Richie as the secondary alpha but I already said I prefer Mike as pack alpha and Bill as the omega. In that au Stan is the secondary alpha. Ya'll sleep on alpha Stan I swear.

As for the 'why' for Mike being pack leader it's pretty simple. He calls the Losers back to Derry in canon but also he just,,,genuinely cares about his little family and he would be the sweetest pack alpha. Stan is the secondary alpha bc somebody needs to bring order the pack bc Mike is a push over softey <3

Now for the Party

Truth be told I have never thought about the Party in an a/b/o au so here's a first. Pack Alpha is Lucas. Fight me my word is law on my blog. He fits the role so well so :P and for secondary alpha it's either Mike or Max. They fight over the position. Lucas lets them fight over it. Ik you didn't ask about the omega but I already talked about it for the Losers so with the Party it's a toss up between Will and El- maybe both. I'll let you decide.

Okay 'why' Lucas is the pack leader is because he's good about keeping everyone and their needs in mind and he'll never make a decision that isn't the best for everyone. He's like Loser's Club Mike in that aspect. He's also very brave and isn't afraid to rough someone up if they threaten his pack. As for Mike and Max for secondary alpha? Look Lucas pretty much has his shit handled, 'secondary alpha' is practically just a title in his pack and it's one Max and Mike would fight over. Lucas enjoys a little chaos so he just let's them.

I think the etiquette of ask blogs is a forgotten art. what I'm saying is (imo) it's not that people don't want to play, it is they don't know HOW, and more importantly they don't understand that the game exists to begin with. obviously you do not have to teach people the rules because your time and energy is finite but idk. it feels like from some of your OOC responses that you assume people know the rules and are playing badly, but I genuinely think people (me) just don't know what you are wanting them (us) to do. and also they (i) don't know how to tell if they (i) are playing the game correctly.

An example I am genuinely confused about is, is inciting a "shut up" answer a signal that the game is being played correctly, because we are inciting a reaction from the character? or is a "shut up" answer a signal that we are playing wrong and need to do something different? I'm sorry. I really love your art and seeing the story unfold but I'm confused and I want to play and I don't understand how.

Pantalone is not typically emotional. He is prone to fronts and lies, and he is not enthusiastic about the idea of sharing his feelings with you. It's not in his nature to be emotional, though Pantalone feigns such things and uses it to hide things from you. Playful with you each time you question him, he'll evade it and convince you, to his satisfaction, that everything is fine.

You hardly believe him, as is the case with many of the things he says. His well-crafted exterior hardly masks his stress once caught off guard, crushed under the pressure of maintaining the image of a well-groomed and high-class businessman.

The people he associates with disgust him, as do their actions and worldviews. They were raised in a world of glamour and decadence where he's belittled, new money in a sea of people living off of old money. It never seems to get to Pantalone until it does; the outbursts of anger are what follow. It's fine, he always says. He just needed a moment.

But nothing will ever be enough, he realises, your arms so inviting as you stand by the chair at his desk, running your hands through his hair, only a month after you made it official you were dating. Pantalone's poker face was pretty while it lasted, but his messier sides were always lurking just around the corner. To hold his head in your arms and console him through his pent-up anger is therapeutic to him, a labour of love for you.

His composure is fragile at times as he dances on the occasionally very thin line between put together and on the verge of smashing his wine glass in frustration right in front of an acquaintance. It's certainly not pretty, and he makes his fingers hurt at times from how hard he fights to refrain from doing it, but it keeps the very thing he works so hard for—his reputation.

Pantalone got so far, but it still amounts to nothing, even when he's the wealthiest man in the world. Nothing matters in the face of a reputation lingering, a poor man pretending to be rich, new money already too big for his britches. You don't care about his reputation, and you're not caught up in appearances. He likes that.

He likes how you laugh as you tell him that's junk, rich people crap, aristocratic bullshit. It feels comforting, like home to laugh his problems off as the pettiness of others. It's nice to let go of such a serious outlook.

Dottore's idea of sharing with you very much involves deflecting, avoiding and dancing around the many problems in his life, not eager to rely on a person when he could solve the issue himself. If you never need to know, you never start worrying and never dwell on it. He never has to face the problem properly.

For small things, that doesn't seem so strange. Dottore can quickly move on without them bothering him too much because that's the natural way of dealing with minor inconveniences, short of being ironically dramatic. Something goes wrong, and he can solve it within fifteen minutes. It's like water off a duck's back. Other times, Dottore will wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, and his greatest worry is how to make sure he doesn't wake you up as he slips out of bed.

No matter how often you tell Dottore to tell you what's wrong, he tries to assure you it's nothing, insignificant or a temporary setback. It's not that, as evidenced by his troubled face. It doesn't shake his lies. He'll run off and try to fix it all himself just as he always has, previously stemming entirely from the fact he had to, now purely by habit. If it ain't broke, don't fix it (it's broke).

So to hear him open up is…strange, though you are used to long-winded rambles reminiscent of a raving madman. He talks quickly sometimes and expects you to follow to the best of your abilities. Whether you can or not is another question. It is different, tired and spent from a day of hard work, hands raking through his messy blue hair as words fall from his lips as quickly as they enter his mind, barely coherent sentences of every inconvenience big and small he faced.

In a way, he hopes it's so hurried and jumbled you'll hardly catch half of it, though you sit by his side and debate between rubbing his back and not startling him with the sudden touch. It feels like the release of every little thing he bottled up overflows, and he doesn't want to speak once he settles, quiet. He looks at you with such exhaustion in his eyes, and you touch your hands to his face with as much caution as you can muster. He lets out a sigh the closest filled with the closest to relief he can get.

It is not perfect; he is an imperfect man. But it is his first step, and he can be nurtured.

Capitano doesn't intentionally hide things at a glance. He's usually very open with what he says, but some things slip his mind, and he's hardly keen on speaking from an emotional standpoint. Everything is objective, a piece of news and not a conversation about what happened. Someone fell down a ravine. What happened? They died. And his reaction? It happens all the time.

Objectively, that measure is correct, but it ignores the fact that people are people. He never wants to acknowledge being part of something because Capitano can tell you things without needing to. You notice it but avoid bringing it up, wondering maybe if that's just how he copes with it all. The years of death and bloodshed will weigh down on him, but if he doesn't bring it up to you, he'll have a reprieve to retreat to.

It's not good enough, but people never are. Everyone has their vice, and perhaps Capitano's vice is separating himself from who he is in battle once he returns home.

He never had a single point at which everything came crashing down, and the world felt bleak, but a series of small moments where Capitano let it slip that he mourned each loss with unimaginable care. Capitano remembers their names and keeps items to memorialise them. Somehow, that's not unthinkable with the way he keeps his regiment running like a well-oiled machine, every person there to better it in some way. He picked those people by hand.

Capitano paces when he thinks. He paces more than usual around the room in circles on a particularly rough night. He suffered a great setback, as it was put. You try everything you can think of to get through to him, from asking him to talk to you to telling him to sit down. He insists on just being preoccupied.

Coincidentally, that gets you the furthest as he tries to push you away with excuses.

He's preoccupied. Why? He had a difficult mission. What happened? People died. And? And what? There shouldn't be more, yet it unravels, the loose thread of his stoic composure suddenly coming apart. He knew them by name; it hurt to lose them, and he wishes to personally deliver their belongings to their families as soon as possible. That's it. That's enough for him to curl up on the couch and quietly accept that you finally got him to say something and that it was pleasant to have it be less of a burden to carry such things.

Of course Lucifer knew better than to just expect you to be okay. Hell was purposefully a scary place, there’s no way around it but something about how tense, scared you constantly looked made them want to provide at least some type of comfort.

You were an angel, one forced out of heaven simply because The Creator wanted you gone, you don’t even know why, you were confused and hurt. Not to mention utterly terrified of hell.

It wasn’t Lucifer you feared, they nursed your back to health and had been nothing but caring after all. It was just everything around you, the constant noise, the smell that would be in the air the second you stepped out of the castle, the constant fighting and screams.

You usually kept to yourself and Lucifer was patient to give you the space you wanted and needed, but you couldn’t be terrified forever, at some point you’d have to get used to the new environment. Though this was something you got acclimated to slowly, with their help of course.

Every so often you’d leave your little hideaway and silently join Lucifer’s side, it could get quite lonely there, and being around them seemed to make all the chaos go away, they took no issue with it, infact encouraged you do it more often.

Sometimes you’d come running and crash into them, the way from your hideout to them felt scary and you wanted nothing more than to be next to them, where it was safe again. Lucifer would wordlessly pick you up and hide you in their arms, continuing whatever they were doing as if you didn’t run out of nowhere. It became a normal occurrence and others quickly learned to stop questioning it.

As you quietly sat with them at the table you shyly took their hand, fidgeting with their fingers and sleeve, making Lucifer look at you with a reassuring smile. Zoning out came quite easy for you when you were around them which made meals and regularly more challenging tasks a lot easier.

Lucifer had noticed you rarely ate, and when you did it was sparingly and only when Lucifer reminded and joined you. So they did, every time it was time for food they’d go with you and get really anything, just to make you feel less alone.

You’d always feel more inclined to eat after they did, so it took Lucifer by surprise when you were first to grab what you wanted and ran to sit back with them, mindlessly munching on your food. They wouldn’t bring it up. You were happy in your own little world and that’s all Lucifer could ever ask for.

Then came time for desert and like always you grabbed 3 cookies, it was like a personal rule you set for yourself, Lucifer had never seen you have more than 3, until today of course.

“One more?” Came your quiet voice as you looked up at them practically bouncing in excitement. Lucifer smiled your way before replying, “You can have as many as you’d like, even more than an one, little angel.” You shook your head. “Jus one!”

Lucifer handed you the one cookie and they wished they had snapped a picture as your face lit up when you grabbed it and ran off. They did note your sugar high and to be careful about it, but that only made you even more adorable so they’d let it slide at least for today.

Once you settled back at their side after running and playing around they wrapped you in their arms, hugging you tight. “I’m so proud of you little angel, you have no idea how much.”

You were blissfully unaware of where this all came from as you were a bit distracted, busy being fascinated by their wings as if you don’t get to see or feel them on a daily basis. But it was still nice to hear, it made you giddy and self assured.

“I did good?” Your tone was bright and happy, also relieved. You didn’t really know why you wanted to know you did good, but seeing Lucifer so happy with you made you happy as well.

“You did good. I’m so proud little angel, I couldn’t be happier.”

“You think i’m jealous?!” You half shout half whine at your boyfriend who just walked you inside your shared apartment.

“Well, a little yeah.” He says chuckling a little and unzipping your coat for you, helping you take it off.

“Well I’m not!” You say growing irritated.

“Y/N, you’re drunk. We can talk about this in the morning all i’m saying is you have nothing to be jealous about.” Brian says cupping your pouting face in his hands.

“No, I don’t want to talk about it in the morning I want to talk now!” You say mad. You’re not jealous, you trust your boyfriend. You have no reason to be jealous, you’re hot. Hot as fuck, and so is your boyfriend and you’re perfect together.

But, when there is another very attractive woman rubbing circles on his bicep with her index finger in the way you do at the bar he owns, it’s annoying. And you may or may not be worried he likes it when she does it more than he likes it when you do it. And the way she bats her eyes at him, he might like it more when she does it rather than when you do it, so he’s just going to kick you out without telling you moving all of your stuff out and all of her stuff in. And he’s going to keep both of your dogs, and he’s going to marry that girl instead of marry you, and they’re going to have a bunch of babies that should be your babies.

Okay, maybe you are jealous. But he doesn’t need to know.

“Fine. If you want to talk about it, at least get ready for bed first.” He says walking into your bedroom leaving you in the kitchen alone.

Rolling your eyes you begin making some relaxing tea so it’ll be cooled off once you’re ready to drink it.

Finally following him into the bedroom you see he’s already shirtless in bed reading. Your first thought is, ‘God he’s so hot.’ but then the irritation in you says that he just doesn’t care enough to brush his teeth or wash his face with you and you’re left to do it alone. He’s preparing you for when he kicks you out and keeps the dogs, and has babies with another women.

Rolling your eyes and stomping into the bathroom connected to your bedroom you slightly slam the bathroom door a lot harder than you intended too. “Fuck.” You mutter to yourself and sighing. Too late now.

Once you’ve finished brushing your teeth and washing your face you open the bathroom door to Brian leaning against the door frame.

“What’s wrong?” He asks knowing it’ll get you talking, because he knows what’s wrong, he just wants to hear it from your perspective.

“Nothing,” You mutter changing out of your jeans and putting on pajama pants, then changing your shirt and putting on one of his CFD shirts that’s probably two sizes too big for you.

So what you’re mad at him, you’re still gonna wear his shirts.

“Y/N, tell me what’s wrong.” He says grabbing your hands and gently pulling you into him resting them on his shirtless chest.

You don’t make eye contact with him as you start to blush. The wall you’ve been trying to build for the last 15 minutes has just crumbled underneath two sentences.

Sighing and blinking away the tears you feel starting to rise you look up at the ceiling just past his face and decide to talk.

“You think i’m jealous of what happened at the bar, when i’m not! I’m just preparing for when you’re gonna kick me out and move her in and keep the dogs and get married to her and have babies with her! Those should be my babies!” You finally break down and he pulls you into a hug as you’re now sobbing.

“Y/N. Look at me.” He says pulling you from his chest and looking at how worked up you’ve gotten from another woman hitting on him. He’s flattered really, he just doesn’t know how you’re so blind to see that you’re the only woman he ever intends on having babies with.

You wipe away a few more tears and make eye contact with him.

“I don’t want to make you worked up, but i’m pretty sure everything you just said was the jealousy talking. I’m not saying that’s it a bad thing, I’m just saying that I honestly appreciate you caring right now. Because if you didn’t care, you would’ve watched that woman scratch my arm trying to be flirty, shrugged, and turned a blind eye to it. But I want you to know, you’re the only girl I want to draw circles on my arm. Her nails were too sharp for my liking. Hi anon! Sorry for the wait but it is here! First, let me apologize that it has been a year since I wrote Levihan, so the characters may be oc. I tried to capture how they were when I was into Levihan tho. I hope you like it!

Prompt 05.  I’m a pro-athlete at a press conference and I make a comment to my buddy about you because I forgot my mic was on

Note: Modern au (Winter Olympics), fluff, potential for something more, fem Hange

Warning: not beta read, possible OC characters, and idk much about the Olympics besides what is on TV/TikTok

The infamous Ackerman siblings. Levi and Mikasa Ackerman, also known as the Monster Siblings, due to their "awakened" abilities the moment their blades touch the ice. 

Two of the greatest Olympic skaters in this generation with a gold medal in ice dancing during their debut year. They even had more medals under their belt from other events.  

Levi Ackerman was used to the attention. The lights and cameras took some getting used to at first. Now, seven years later, Levi could care less about them before their third Winter Olympics. 

The same applied to his little sister, Mikasa, who typically kept a stoic face on camera except when she won. Of course, this meant the world had nothing better to do than get into the sibling's business. Especially now, after their recent win and the gold medals to prove it is shining around their necks. 

"Question for Levi, when are you thinking about retiring?"

Levi's face remained stoic, but he wanted to groan in annoyance. Luckily, for Mikasa's sake, he refrained from it. "Not thinking about it. Next question."

The reporter looked away and turned to Mikasa to address it. Mikasa smiled before rambling on about whatever her answer was. Levi leaned back and internally thanked his sister before letting his eyes wander through the crowd.

There was a tall guy with a horse-like face, another guy with the ugliest bowl cut Levi had ever seen, and a woman eating a plain potato.

Seriously, who let her in her? Levi grimaced as the crumbs fell on the floor. He mentally made a note to increase security for the next press conference and clean that up later. Levi's eyes wandered some more as Mikasa continued about today's performance.

There was a very tall guy with blond hair covering his eyes, a woman with short banana-blonde hair, and another woman. who had-

"The most shittiest glasses I have ever seen."

Many eyes turned to face Levi, including the woman who had the supposed "shitty glasses." His eyes widened slightly as the woman's eyes met his. The woman was not the only person wearing glasses, but her oval-shaped glasses stood out to him for some reason. They were due for a cleaning, too, and Levi had to stop himself from wiping it with his handkerchief. Instead, Levi mentally prepared herself to face the stranger's wrath but was met by the woman grinning wildly. Meanwhile, Mikasa turned to see who her brother was looking at and the woman, connecting two and two together. She cleared her throat and spoke into the mic.

"What my brother means is that everyone here has nice glasses. He has a shitty way of expressing it." She said with a closed-eyed smile. Despite his sister not looking angry, Levi could sense it from where he sat. 

Levi sighed and took a sip of his earl grey tea nearby. 

This was going to be a long day.

Hange scribbled down her notes gleefully as she reflected on her day. First, her puppies, Sawney and Bean, were the most absolute angels she had ever met. Then she met up with her co-workers to head to the Olympics. Finally, she was noticed by Levi Ackerman. The most famous ice skater of the century! Sure, she was noticed in an abnormal way, but Hange did not mind. Her favorite celebrity acknowledged her, and it could not get any better than that.

"We are going to head out, Hange," Erwin said, and Hange smiled.

"I'm just finishing up, so you can go ahead. See you tomorrow!"

"See you tomorrow!" Nanaba replied, and Mike nodded before leaving. 

The center hall was silent, minus a few voices around here and there. Hange was on her last note when she heard footsteps heading closer in her direction.

"Oi, Shitty Glasses."

Hange could not hide her smile, practically ignoring his insult. "Levi! Nice to meet you! My name is Hange. Do you need something?" 

Levi shuffled around awkwardly like he was contemplating what to say. "I just wanted to apologize for earlier. I should not have said that for the cameras to hear."

Hange laughed loudly. "It's alright. I was not offended. I was happy that you acknowledged me, though. You are one of my favorite athletes in the Games."

Levi's mouth curled up slightly. "Thanks. I appreciate that. Just don't let my sister know, or else she might do something about it."

Hange moved her fingers along her mouth and threw the imaginary zipper to the ground. "Don't worry, that will be safe with me."

"Thanks. There is something I want to do before I head back to the Village."

"What's that?"

Levi held his hand out. "Hand me your glasses."

"Okay…" Hange replied in confusion as she fulfilled Levi's request. She watched Levi pull a handkerchief from his pocket and gently wipe it along her lenses. Hange heard rumors of Levi being a clean freak, but seeing it in person amazed her. Levi meticulously cleaned and often held it to the light to ensure no dust remained. He returned the glasses back to her once he was satisfied. 

"Here. Make sure you maintain it, or else you won't be able to see."

"Thanks, Levi." Hange placed the glasses back on her, and her eyes widened in amazement. "Woah! Everything looks so much clearer now! It's like those commercials!"

Levi's smile grew a millimeter bigger. "Don't sing the song. But I have a question to ask before I go."

"Shoot."

"I have a free skate coming up. You can watch it if you want as an apology for earlier. I can even set you up with seats that are close by. You will just be sitting with my sister."

Hange grinned from ear to ear. "YES, YES, I WILL DO THAT!"

"Good." Levi dug inside his pocket again and handed Hange a slip of paper. "Here is my number. Just text me later, and I can send you the details."

Hange grabbed the paper and stuffed it in her purse. "Thanks, Levi." She glanced at her watch and shot Levi an apologetic look. "I need to get home to check on my pups. See you later, Levi!" Hange yelled as she ran off and waved goodbye.

Levi only waved back as he watched her move farther away, his heart beating a mile a minute for some reason. "See you later, Hange."

Hey anon! Of course, I love answering questions (even though this is so late and I am so sorry!)

1.) I've been writing since middle school(?) I started off writing poetry, which was not good at all, lol, and then from there, I started writing short stories, which then turned into this! I think my first fanfiction was WWE fanfic on fanfiction.net 🫣

2.) I would LOVE to make a profession out of writing. I only recently started posting my fics in the last 3 years? The beginning of my "official public" profile was Kylo Ren/Adam Driver fanfics, and then I went to ACOTAR! I have a few story ideas that I could definitely see myself writing, all fantasy romance ofc, but I always second guess myself on actually publishing. It is such a huge leap, and I am SO self-critical of my writing. I hope one day to be a published author!

3.) Eris Vanserra had my heart the moment I met him in the books. He is definitely my favorite character to write for. I don't know if it is how ambiguous his intentions are or even his character, but I am drawn to him. Other than Eris I would say Cassian, Nesta, and Lucien!

4.) Writers block is SO hard for me. The things that help me are watching tv shows, reading books or fics, or looking at artwork! If that fails, I'll look up sentence prompts to inspire me!

5.) I don't want this to sound preachy or pretentious but to write is to create. The world NEEDS more creators, more dreamers, more feelers. In a world full of ordinary things, it is artists and writers who create things extraordinary. I know how scary it can be to write something, to second guess yourself, to worry if anyone will see it, but I implore anyone who wants to write to do it! You are the master of your story, the creator of your universe! It is the most amazing feeling to write a story, to make characters and plot lines, and to have people read them. And people WILL read them. Doubt is something that holds us all back, but I don't think any of you will regret the leap of faith it takes when you are ready to take it. I am always happy to support new artists and help them grow. Idk if any of the above made sense but the basic gist of what I am trying to say is to have faith in yourself, in your creativity, and light the spark to your own excellence. May it never fade and only grow to inspire others. <3

I write fan fiction on my main account and it’s always wonderful when people like my fic. But I have to say that it’s even a bit better when someone likes my OCs. Like those guys came from my brain! And you like them? Wow!

I am definitely not done being obsessed with Nate and Lawrence. I have a bunch of world and character building thoughts that I might just list out in a tumblr post (will link to it on ao3 too if I do) and I do have more ideas for them, including one that came to me today where I flip the whump script and give Nate a headache. Based on the headache I have barely been keeping at bay for the past few hours. Also, I got another anon ask about what Nate and Lawrence look like in my head, which I answered over here.

what do you think will be the conflict for rina in s4? i honestly think it will be a fresh take on a conflict we haven’t seen before. or at least hopefully i really don’t want anyone coming in between them (especially bc i’m sorry but i cant imagine either of them even beginning to give someone else the time of day) but maybe there’s a chance there will be a true sharpay character? like in the way “i want troy (ricky)” way? kinda like a hsm2 plot in a way idk if that makes sense i’m just kinda gearing up for someone to try to come in between them. but anyways i think and hope it’ll be a new conflict we haven’t seen in the show before. and they’ll make it out stronger. however i feel like if they get a s5 then the conflict will be ricky graduating. i’ve always loved this conflict. my prediction for that is it does result in a breakup in s5 but they get back together by the end.

Thank you for this question, anon! I think a lot of people are nervous for the conflict because they worry that it will be a repeat of what we’ve seen before. As we’ve seen from Tim’s interviews, he knows the rinas have been through the absolute trenches. He called the kiss a “small win”. Not because there is more hardship to come, but because I think this is small in comparison to some of the other wins we’re going to see. Also from Tim’s interviews, I’ve seen time and time again it’s imperative we pay attention to what happened in the doc. That’s how we’re going to know what the characters trials are. Without prompting, Tim brought up Jet’s crush on kourtney a couple of times (this seems like something he finds a really big deal and will be focused on quite a bit).

Because the doc was a lot about ricky and gina finally getting together, it wouldn’t make sense for another triangle. Not to mention, the triangles were more so that we could see ricky and gina do better with each other than their “next best options”. To me, it makes more sense that we’re going to see actual couple struggles.*knock on wood* I think tim wants us to have rina together as our “big win”. I don’t think he is going to throw this ship in the flames more than it already has been. I think it will be more normal and healthy with some typical ups and downs (kind of like redlyn s2).

I also agree that ricky graduating seems like a logical conflict. Tim described s4 as “now or never”, because he understands this could be their last season. As much as he wants the show to go on, unfortunately tv execs have the largest say at the end of the day and do really, scummy things regardless of the direction the show is going or could go (girl meets world RIP). So I think he wants to tie loose ends if he can. Where it’s Ricky’s senior year, ricky making plans for post graduating seems pretty logical to me this season. ESPECIALLY because it would make less sense for him to figure it out next season. He hates change, so planning something out in advance seems like him. He might put it off a little because he’s scared of the change, but I think ultimately he would embrace decision making. What wouldn’t be like him it waiting until his last semester of high school to make a decision on a college (my ADHD brain did the exact opposite and I waited until like two weeks before a decision had to be made and then made one 🙃).

TL;DR: I think ricky is going to try and make a graduation plan and overdo the stress of planning because it’s in his nature to prepare as much as possible (so it feels like the least amount of unexpected change). I think gina is, once again, going to provide that polarity for him and be a sounding board for his stress. She’ll probably try to remind him that even if they end up not together after graduation, it doesn’t mean they won’t have a future together. She might even try and give him resources that keep him close to home, but she will help him embrace the inevitable change. I think ricky has been getting a lot better at eventually embracing change, but now he’s getting the real test: can he embrace a world of change- completely on his own- as an adult? We’ve seen him overcome the stress of dealing with the things changing around him (things out of his control, his parents divorce, Nini going to Denver and pulling away, etc.), but what about the things happening to him (things within his control, like where he goes to college). Sometimes it’s easier to be mad at and get over the things out of our control, because that’s all they are at the end of the day: the things that come and go. It’s the decisions that we proactively make to create change that can be the hardest, because we have to be fully responsible for them. It might make someone want to… Scream? 😉

honestly… i think it would be completely fair and reasonable if he hadn’t!

there’s a lot that can be said about idols and keeping dating quiet so that they’re more ~desirable~ for marketing purposes and that’s a conversation that’s been had often (and one i can’t contribute anything valuable to, probably). there are plenty of idols who repeatedly mention that they haven’t dated, whether that’s true or not! but with tyun, i think it really comes down to the fact that it’s very normal for 21 year olds to have no dating experience! 21 is still very young, and for many average people in their late teens and early 20s, dating isn’t a priority yet, or it just hasn’t happened. everyone’s experiences are unique and there are countless (and very common) reasons why a 21yo might not have dated yet. and this is talking about 21 year olds living completely normal lives - there are so many other factors that might have prevented a young idol from dating! tyun is very serious about his craft and plenty of 21 year olds haven’t dated because they’ve prioritized school or establishing a career instead. and i can only imagine how unstable many idols’ relationships are simply by nature of their lifestyles, and that this must making dating difficult or unappealing. for ex. tyun might have had talking phases, but not dated in a “traditional” way.

aside from joking around i do prefer to take everything the idols i stan say at face value - whatever they decide to share i’m grateful for and what to respect, even if they keep some things private or don’t give the whole truth for personal reasons. they already share so much of themselves, and i’m very happy to accept whatever they say as the truth they want to be known by. so it isn’t something i’ve speculated about that deeply. but if i had to speculate a bit… taehyun is very, very honest and open about himself. i was talking about this with my twin recently, but he’s soooo open about his hobbies and interests and passions and life experiences, and shares them constantly as they grow. in comparison to other idols and even his own group mates, he shares SO much about himself and does this very readily, even without prompting.

i’m not saying that he would be open about it if he were to date someone, but i think him wanting to talk about that experience (or rather having no romantic experience, and what it’s like to be a young adult longing for those experiences and building his own philosophy on love and heartbreak) is pretty in line with the taehyun we know: someone who seems to actively want his fans to know everything (or many things!) about him and who enjoys talking about himself! every time that he’s mentioned that he hasn’t dated has also been very “in character” for the tyun we know - idk how to describe it but just the way he talks about it and his mannerisms and the situations in which he’s brought it up is all very tyun lol.

i think it would also be reasonable to say that he is someone who’s interested in dating! him mentioning that he hasn’t dated before so frequently could be coming from a place of him questioning himself and Discovering the World as many young people do, and the fact that he hasn’t could be something that’s important to him as a person and what he wants right now. especially as he’s had to immerse himself in concepts of love and heartbreak and healing for his music, from writing lyrics about things he may or may not have experienced to embodying those themes on stage. or it’s just relevant to the conversation and there’s nothing behind it! 

 tl;dr, i think it’s very possible that tyun hasn’t ever dated anyone, and for many reasons aside from not wanting to invade his privacy (the most important!), any speculation really just leads me to “he’s a young person figuring it out.”

this is also something that i’ve been writing about in a canon compliant fic, so i’ve been thinking about it a lot recently actually lol, aside from also being a young adult learning to navigate a heteronormative and amatonormative world of life and dating. when taehyun talks about not having dated before, i think about relating to him through my own experiences (as someone who has dated people, but again, very messily as a young person) and seeing myself in him, and it’s honestly pretty refreshing compared to a lot of my rumination on dating! I do think the VGK game will be the final straw for the Pens. Sid and Geno won't let the Pens freefall anymore in the standings, and I think this may prompt Hextall to make a coaching change and a shakeup for the bottom 6 / defense injuries. We haven't seen any midseason coaching changes this season yet but *knock on wood* the Pens could be the first to pull it off. Trying to be optimistic here but this streak looks bad when: we have a lot of injuries, this roster will not be the same roster come March 3, and we may still see a lot of personnel changes around the league. Yes the other Metro teams look so great compared to our struggling Pens but their schedules are far easier right now while we had to play all but 1 playoff team the last 2 weeks with a depleted lineup. What's the point of comparing our lows to their highs - ignoring the fact that we might have not even seen our final team, we have 49 games left; and the All Star break hasn't even happened yet?

Tanger will come back soon, Jarry too, even Petry. The bottom 6 will have a lot of changes. It's easy to point out how we are struggling when it seems everyone around you is doing well - like what I've been saying several times - and thinking whether the hockey gods are deliberating making us suffer by giving all the bad things that could happen to a hockey team at once.

But no, I look at the calendar and wonder, maybe this is a blessing it's happening now because we still have time to turn things around rather than a late season collapse? It's hard to stay positive when the teams around you are peaking together this early, but again the season isn't over yet. Sid and Geno and Jake will break their slumps as the perfect time - and months later when we look back, if the changes do happen, I feel like we can say to ourselves that these struggles came at the right time because had they not happened the Pens wouldn't have fared better anyway.

Idk what to tell you anon I stared our schedule in the face after the red wings game and accidentally predicted a w*nless streak that’s not gonna end until we get home to play the Jets. Thought we were gonna hit OT more though. We’re gonna get goalied by Veggie and they’ve got some hot kids who I think will embarrass DS and Dumo in front of the net.

As for everything you’ve said in the first paragraph, I’m having trouble parsing what you want me to say? You seem to ask and answer your own questions as you’re typing them out.

Do I think Sully’s job is in jeopardy? Ehhhhh. I’m not sure who we’d hire instead. Do I think he’s safe? No. Do I think we’ll make a trade? We’re certainly going to try but the problem is who do we give up. We can’t just trade away bad players for someone good, even to teams trying to tank. Is it fair to compare us to everyone else? That’s how the world works but if it’s getting you down try not to listen to those things. In the grand scheme of things it’s a long season and we’ve got time to course correct and figure it out.

I’m doing my best to not be worried about the current streak, either we figure our shit out or we don’t. I asked myself last night what the worse case scenario for this season is (barring retirement or player injuries *knock on wood*) and the best case scenario. The worst thing I could think of was we miss the playoffs.

Is that bad? Is it the end of the world? Steelers (my football team) are currently trying to figure out how to backdoor their way into the playoffs and before that people were doomposting about how it would be the first time Mike Tomlin (the coach) would miss the playoffs and I’m like I’d rather the Steelers be functional and good heading into next season than to watch them play a single playoffs game this season.

For the pens, I’d be disappointed if we br*ke the current streak but we kinda did in 2020 and it wasn’t the end of the world. The best case scenario is, of course, always the Cup. If those are best and worst, I’m fine with both options. I know what I’d prefer, but I’m sitting here trying my best to enjoy watching my favorite flightless birds zoom around the ice and trying to remember how lucky we are to still have this core and this team.

What is your favorite location and position to write in? i am currently sitting in the right corner of the couch in the living room, which is my main place i exist in the house tbh. as such, a lot of writing happens here. however, i also sometimes have a lot of success and fun writing at the table in the breezeway! i'm a little sad that i didn't start doing this until recently because it is getting colder out now

27. What area of writing do you feel strongest in? usually i feel like i have strong plots and worlds and can create them relatively easily. however, i have been struggling with this semi-recently, so... idk? i can write alright dialogue?

(fun fact, 33 is one of my favorite numbers!) for anything on ao3, my minimum wordcount is 1000. i don't feel satisfied posting anything less than that and honestly am not good at writing stories shorter than that. i take a lot of words usually. however, for askbox prompts my wordcount cap is 750 because i'm not going to push myself to write more if it's not coming.

48. Who is your favorite character to write for?  Has this changed since you’ve started writing for that fandom? mmmm interesting question! out of every character i've ever written, i think right now it's michael. he comes relatively easily to me, which makes things fun.

Do you have a fic you wish got a bit more love? all of them <3 no that's a lie. let me see. i think i'm going to plug black coffee and sulfur, my demon!calum fic from last halloween. i don't naturally gravitate towards writing concepts like that, but i think i did a pretty good job, and i think a lot more people would enjoy it than have read it so far.

Do you have any writing advice you want to share? i know that everyone says this but genuinely STOP caring about other people when you write. do not do that. write because you want to write, not because you want to post something. post because you want to share, for sure (i like sharing things i've created!!! i like sharing things i'm proud of and i like giving people nice things to read!), but write because you want to write, not because you want external validation. write that cringy embarrassing thing that you would only ever post on anon but that you have a lot of exciting inspiration for! write the trope that no one except you cares about! write what you want because you want to write it, not because you're putting some sort of weird internal pressure on yourself.

if you want like. technical advice on writing, then my advice would be to take some time to know your characters. figure out who they are and let them drive the plot, because it will make writing so much easier if you're not forcing them to do things that they would never actually do.

I also totally get what you mean by a messy draft for little ideas in the moment too! I do that for some stories too. But I never seem to finish them now I have a big list of half finished ideas on my phone and I just keep making more😂😂

And on the anon thing, I don't know if I can speak for other people but I absolutely come back to see if something was posted and just interact in general. Me being anon honestly boils down to my anxiety kinda and being nervous about interacting with people in like a traceable way if that makes sense. But I still really like interacting with people and stuff. Even if I already follow and interact with the someone and their account, I like to send anon questions for the like "send me a ...." or "ask me...." things sometimes because I'm just more comfortable with it. Everyone I've met on here seems really nice but I'm just not the best at staying in touch constantly so sometimes this seems like a better idea:/ BUT I do know that when I do send stuff like requests or prompts I always try and let the author know that I got to read it and what I really liked about it specifically. I even have another list in my phone of specific blogs that I've requested stuff to do that I won't forget I was the one who sent it so I can try to let the author know that I got to read it. Plus i do enjoy letting someone know that I liked their work especially when I'm kinda doing it while "hiding" on anon and stuff. And I also sometimes like to go and look at the blogs of people that I haven't necessarily started following for one reason or another yet to see if they've updated anything just for fun. But yeah, once again idk if I can speak for other anons, but I do know that when I send stuff I usually and coming back and checking stuff or seeing if it's on my dash enough times and even if it takes me like a day or two to see it or figure out what to specifically say(which can be hard for me) I try to let the person know. I think I'd feel really bad if I sent something and then just didn't let them know that I at least saw it and stuff, but I don't think I've missed anything yet!

anyway since jason is the first robin for Earth-T18, I can see us rescuing him from the Joker before he gets killed (cuz we knew beforehand or smthn idk) and that prompts jason to be yan for us even more. like, before that point his obsession w Bats was idealization, now its "protective sidekick yandere" obsession for him.

Oh yes, in my original idea.

Well, I first tell you, I like to make Bat suffer, and I think that if you change something, something changes accordingly. Dominoes.

In the same way, my idea was that Bat knew what would happen to Dick, but without the absolutely exact date (which was also unexpectedly advanced because , who gives orders to the circus?), the plans were screwed up, in fact, Bats did not even have the opportunity to adopt Dick, poor Bat!

So, my first idea was that Jason died and Bat KILLED the Joker because even knowing in advance what would happen, they couldn't save Jason (Joker swapped places!) who anyway would later resurrect (to strengthen the plot with Tim and the Al Ghul), and said dead, a spoiler that Bat already knew and had them on edge for months tore them apart.

And Bat, who is part paranoid, part fan, part imitating the original Bat, has cameras on their mask, records everything. So they recorded the beating of Joker. And said record was seen by Jason.

What I mean is that, effectively, whether Jason survives or not. Yes, the supreme yandereish of Bat is a fact. Because unlike Bruce, Reader will not hide their pain before and after in their lost whether or not they decide to kill the clown.

As for who knows. Alfred, implicitly. but he is the Yandere -Platonic- King. There is an understanding. You follow some rules (that is, he always knows where you are), and he doesn't bluntly ask you: how you know that?) ...for now, mainly because your "precognition" clearly puts you in control 90% of the time.

Later, having entered the dark side, they both thought that they had some kind of meta-ability, until analyzing they realized that they didn't (unless you consider their isekainess one).

They know there is something, but they haven't come to the conclusion "they are from another world where we're fictional." Their thinking is more in line with "precognition", at most "parallel universe", once they begin to know other universes... except that they don't know another Bats.
