just a general reminder, your radical queer inclusion isn't actually radical at all if it doesn't include critical analysis of things like history, particularly in regards to the history of exclusion against bipoc and appropriation of their cultures in the queer community.

critical analysis of this, and in general, are paramount in creating a truly radical queer space, don't forget that.

The thing I find really funny abouts transmeds is that they blame literal children for the decisions of creepy old white dudes. Like I just saw a post that said (verbatim) "xenogender kids, you are making things worse" and I'm just wondering if the op actually considered the fact that they used the word "kids", acknowledging they were talking about children. Like bro lemme be real with you for a second kids experimenting with gender in a way you fail to understand isn't actually such a big deal. Like yeah i don't really understand it either but I don't fucking care. Liklihood is they're not gonna walk into some interview and say "hi I'm pumpkingender" and most of them (at least in my experience) are a ok with being called they/them along with xenos/neos. Accept that children aren't responsible for deep-rooted societal and systemic transphobia PLEASE. if someone is transphobic it is purely their problem and not to be blamed on kids who just wanna express themselves.

Not to be that guy, but saying “I hate all men, including trans men because I’m not transphobic.”, doesn’t make you less hateful. Nor does it make you less transphobic.

You’re essentially saying “if you choose to express yourself in the way that makes you most comfortable, I am going to hate you. I hate you for a core part of your being that has very little to do with whether or not you are actually deserving of hate.”

Discouraging trans men from actually being men because they do not wish for you to hate them, is transandrophobia.

Being a man and/or being masculine is not inherently evil, nor is it worthy of hate. Men are not a monolith and treating them like they are is only pushing them into the “well, you hate me so why should I help you?” camp.

I would like every transmed to know they are wrong.

Non-dysphoric trans people are trans, and they can go on hrt. It will not "prove you're actually cis" or "cause dysphoria". It has only made me happy.

I have to shave twice a week now. If I was a cis woman who cared about facial hair, I think I'd be pretty upset about this change, but I'm not. I love it.

I've noticed a trend behind the use of the label "transsexual" vs. "transgender".

Oftentimes transmedicalists use transsexual to differentiate themselves from the rest of the trans community.

It's disheartening and quick frankly, appaling.

You will not achieve acceptance in a cisheteronormative society by distancing yourselves from the "bad" or "confusing" trans folks.

Transsexual is a wonderful label, and we cannot allow transmedicalists to take ownership of it.
