i’m looking back on my old ieps when i was little and now knowing so much more about accessibility in education is just a weird feeling they way all these educated professionals had no clue “what i had” was actually just sad. like they labeled me as dyslexic, adhd, specific learning disabled, and “emotionally disturbed” and just because i was “book” smart i just was “okay” when in reality it was hell for me in high school.
